#people were expecting Maduro to raise the salary today but he didn't#he announced a special 'bonus' of 20 dollars and 40 dollars as a special benefit for active workers#my dad was planning on retiring this month but now he doesn't want to because he'll stop receiving the 'special benefit' (the 40dlls)#he can't retire now and I can't find a job#not to be dramatic but this is frustrating#not that I was expecting anything from these people and I don't depend on them I don't work for the government or anything#but my dad was planning on retiring and now he can't because he'll lose money#just keep in mind that the salary is (right now) 130 bs and ONE dollar is 25 bs#that's like 5 dollars a month#A MONTH#this sucks#random#personal#my shitty English#Venezueling#he was literally waiting for a salary raise to retire in a better position and that didn't happen#I'm not even mad at this point I knew something like this would happen because they stole all the money + keep doing it#I'm sad for my dad and how sad he looks#and I wish I could help but right now I just can't and I don't know when I'll be able to#I can't believe I woke up this morning thinking about the apartment I want to buy like let's be realistic you silly woman#there's no way in hell
