Synopsis:
You always wanted your family to look at you, even just once. At least with a bit of the affection they gave to the portraits of your mother. Too bad that when they finally did, you were looking at the pages of a comic that showed the cruel future.
Inspired by the manhwa: no place for the Fake Princess
Warnings: English is not my first language, so I used a translator. Yandere content, neglect, abandonment, angst (?), allusions to death, original character (not the reader), allusions to torture. I try to keep the gender neutral, but in part there are mostly feminine pronouns. If any warnings are missing here, please let me know.

Chapter one - A glimpse into the family secret
The knight of the night, the man with a thousand plans, Gotham's greatest detective, was holding his daughter, Serelith, with such tenderness and delicacy. She was crying in her arms, scared. And rightly so: Serelith had never lived through anything like this before. Her other siblings had some pity for her now, even Damian showed a hint of sympathy, probably because of the fear they all felt over what could’ve happened to her at the Joker’s hands.
Then there was the other daughter. Batman's illegitimate child, the youngest of the Waynes, no, the youngest of the Valfinsas, watching with tearful eyes from behind the bars as the family she grew up with held their blood daughter close. Leaving her alone.
The Joker just laughed, shoving the girl hard against the bars. -Hahaha! Looks like Batsy's got his favorites- he laughed louder. All the girl could do was stare through tearful eyes, praying, just once. for someone to turn around. To look at you.
-The Joker can wait. Priority is getting Serelith out of here- That’s what Dick said. The perfect big brother. Someone who, like her, had also been adopted. He handed Serelith a pill and a bottle of water. Carefully, they took Serelith away, leaving the building where the two of them had been held captive.Leaving you there. Not looking back. Not noticing you were missing.
The Joker let out a cold laugh, already getting ready to have fun with the new toy Bruce had left behind. -Don’t worry. I won’t take my eyes off you- he scoffed, looking right at you as you cried. How you wished you had gotten out of here, out of a place where no one ever looked at you.
You threw the comic across the bed, looking at it like it was the devil himself.
A few weeks ago, you'd decided to try reading comics to bond with your family. You'd once overheard Stephanie teasing Damian about reading and drawing manga, and maybe Tim might be into it too, right? After all, there are games based on comics. So, you spent your allowance on one, hoping it'd at least end with you arguing with Damian about the difference between manga and comics, or maybe Tim would recommend one based on one of his games.
You'd gone to a store after finishing your homeschooling session with Alfred, browsed a few comics, and then, suddenly, felt a strong bump against your side, right where your bag was hanging. When you looked down, you noticed three comics had fallen to the floor. You tried putting them back, but couldn’t figure out where they were supposed to go. With no other option, you looked for help from the clerk—who didn’t even bother to pay attention to you.
-Another kid trying to sneak in their hero stories? Listen, girl, you're not going to get famous just because someone randomly reads a comic drawn by a 12 years old-.
No matter how much you insisted they weren't yours, he didn't believe you. You got kicked out of the store. Great. But hey, at least you had three new comics to read for free! And not just any comics, they were about Gotham's great vigilante himself! Not exactly what you were going for, but maybe you'd get to connect with someone in your family by talking about the city's crime and its paper version.
You got back to Wayne Manor all excited, and started reading the three comics that had literally fallen from the sky.
And that's how you ended up here.
Batman: Bloodline. That was the name of the comic saga you just finished reading, the one that left a bitter taste in your mouth. At first, after reading the opening pages, you thought it was fake, a bad joke, some prankster who thought it would be hilarious to realistically draw the millionaire playboy dressed as a bat, acting as Gotham’s nocturnal hero. No wonder the shop clerk didn’t believe you. This probably wouldn’t help you get any closer to your brothers, but maybe if you showed it to Dick or Jason, they’d make fun of Bruce with you. So you kept reading.
But then all your siblings showed up, as the Robins and the Batgirls. And then you appeared. Not playing any role, not as a hero, just you. The daughter born from one of Bruce’s deepest loves, a model beautiful both inside and out, who had died just days after giving birth to you. A child who looked nothing like her mother, and even less like her father.
Everything was… eerily accurate. The mannerisms, the backstories, everyone’s personalities, they were spot on. Even the inside of the manor was a perfect match! You kept reading, uneasily, and that’s when she showed up: a girl with Bruce’s same stoic seriousness, and your mother’s same warmth. The drawing copied her features almost perfectly.
The comic was about her; Serelith. How she was found, as the original daughter. How she adapted to the family. And finally, how you and she were kidnapped by the Joker. How the family saved her. And left you behind.
You don’t want to believe it. Even if that girl crying behind the bars looked so much like you. Even if every detail lined up so perfectly. You didn’t want to believe that this family, the same one you beg and plead for even a crumb of love, forgot about you in such a horrible moment.
You hide the three comics under your pillow. You refuse to eat when Alfred calls for dinner, and you fake being asleep until the night falls.
You check the time on your phone, waiting for the right moment to come. You get up from bed and carefully make your way through the giant manor, until you’re standing in the same room where the old clock is. If it’s true, if they’re really Gotham’s vigilantes , they would notice immediately, and all of this will have been for nothing… or maybe they won’t even glance in your direction.
You didn’t see anyone for a few minutes from your hiding spot. You thought maybe they’d glanced in your direction, and were just waiting for you to leave.
Until you saw Tim, Zesti drink in hand, clear signs of sleeplessness under his eyes, dark circles, and wearing his Red Robin suit, walk up to the clock and set the time to 10:47. The same time as in the comic.
You felt your heart beating faster and faster. You wanted to cry just from seeing that time there, right in front of you. Mocking you.
You couldn’t take it anymore. You ran off, tripping over a few things along the way.
You got to your room and threw yourself into bed. You could feel the comics crinkle beneath your pillow as you laid your head down, just like your heart crumbled when you realized… that part of the comic was real. Which meant not only that you weren’t the daughter of that woman, but that all these years, and all the ones still to come, meant nothing to your family.
You feel the tears slowly forming in your eyes. You want to do something, think of a plan to avoid the day you end up in the Joker’s hands, but your mind is clouded. You try to sit up, feeling the anxiety course through your body. You need to start planning how to escape the Joker, how to live away from the Waynes. You don’t have time for whatever’s happening to you. Your trembling hand goes to search for the comics under your pillow, but it freezes when you hear someone knock on the door and then open it without waiting for an answer.
You turn to look at the entrance, finding Tim there, clearly exhausted. Your hands shift to clutch the sheets, gripping them tightly as you see Tim in his Red Robin suit standing in front of you.
Tim’s had a rough few days. He hasn’t slept well due to a case, and there’s a small crisis at Wayne Enterprises. He almost went without a shower for more than a week, he was close to breaking his own record. The lack of sleep made his instincts and everything he’s learned as a Robin falter. Even so, he insisted on going out tonight to look for clues. He got dressed and ready to leave with the others, and with a brain half-asleep, he didn’t realize something, or someone, was watching him as he was about to leave. Until he heard a noise that alerted him. By reflex, he turned to look and saw your smaller figure collide with a couch, then get up and keep running.
The sleep vanished in an instant, and on instinct, he ran after you, thinking about how he would convince you not to tell Bruce you’d seen him.
He opened the door without asking, just knocking out of courtesy, expecting to find you excited, shouting with joy at the discovery that your older brother was one of Gotham’s heroes. But instead, he saw you, breathing heavily, clutching the sheets tightly, crying.
You’ve always been sensitive, crying over the loss of your mother or because Bruce didn’t give you attention. He’d always agreed with Steph and Jason that you might be overreacting. Everyone in the family had lost someone, and it’s hard for Bruce to give more attention with so many kids and the mantle of Batman weighing on him. Even if you didn’t know the latest, you should be more patient. Besides, didn’t you have Damian keeping you company? And he was sure that at least once, you’d gone to the library with Babs…
Even though part of him thought you were exaggerating, the way you cried now, the way you trembled and avoided looking at him like he was a traitor, told him this time was different. And it made him feel something pressing inside of him.
He slowly approached the bed and sat next to you, studying you more carefully. You seemed to be on the verge of a panic attack. He tried calling your name to get your attention, but you didn’t respond.
Tim quickly thought about how to calm you down. You weren’t quite in the middle of an anxiety attack yet, so he might be able to stop it from escalating. He scanned your room, searching for something that might help him hold you steady.
…
Has your room always been this… empty? For being the daughter of a model and a millionaire, one would expect your room to be full of toys and luxuries. But it’s almost bare. There are a few things visible: misshapen cushions with exposed threads, a blanket of mismatched colors, and some decorations hanging from the shelves and walls, arranged from the ugliest to the most beautiful.
For your luck, he manages to spot a small blue plush dog on a shelf. He quickly grabs it and forces it into your smaller, more fragile hands.
– Squeeze – He orders. You obey. Your mind, at some point, kept replaying the comic's drawings, where they abandoned you, where the same person in front of you did nothing.
– Breathe with me, at least once, breathe – Tim's voice reaches your ears. By instinct, you follow, tightening the plush toy even more in your hands. The images slowly fade from your mind, what you felt could’ve been worse begins to vanish, and your tearful gaze meets a pair of blue eyes looking back at you with concern.
Tim feels a small relief inside him that you didn’t end up in a full-blown panic attack, but he's still worried about you. Why did finding out it was Red Robin cause that reaction? Why, all of a sudden, aren’t you looking at him with pleading eyes wanting attention, but instead, avoiding his gaze? The silence between you two forms slowly, becoming more noticeable, until you wipe away your tears. You summon strength to look at him and break the silence with a voice firm but trembling slightly.
–I won’t tell anyone you’re Red Robin… I promise… you can leave now – You didn’t feel like explaining to Tim that you found a comic from the future, you weren’t even sure he would believe you, or if he would listen.
He, on the other hand, was shocked. Were you kicking him out of your room? Was this your reaction to finding out he's Red Robin? Did you not care? What's wrong with you? He looked at you, still incredulous. Why were you acting like this all of a sudden? Or had you always been, and I just hadn’t paid enough attention to you? He replayed the events of the week in his mind, remembering that you once talked about going to buy comics, maybe like you tried to talk at dinner… dinner from… how long ago was that? He kept going over what he remembered, what could’ve triggered your near panic attack? Why weren’t you looking at him like before? And why, now that you did, was it with coldness and pain? Then it clicked. Maybe you heard his recent conversation with Jason? Both had mentioned what he talked about with Steph, how sometimes you cried too much and seemed exaggerated. Was that it? That was probably it, right? Maybe not the reason for your near anxiety crisis, but it was definitely why you wanted him out of your room. You didn’t want him to keep seeing you like this, did you? Well, he wasn’t the best at handling emotions, that was more Dick’s thing, but still, he couldn’t leave you emotionally constipated. They already had enough of that from Bruce, Jason, and Damian. So, he left your room, informed Bruce that he wouldn’t go out with them tonight, changed out of his suit into pajamas, and came back to your room. You looked at him confused. He didn’t blame you, he had never been close to you like this before, but now, he wanted to be. He wanted you to stop looking at him like that.
Thank God you took the opportunity when Tim left to move the comics. You couldn’t do much, just toss them under your bed. You were hoping he wouldn’t look there now that it seemed he wanted to sleep in your room. He lay next to you, and you gave him his space. You both stared at each other in silence for a few seconds, until he finally decided to break it.
–Are you okay?–
It was a simple question, short and direct, yet you just stared at the ceiling. Thinking about his question and everything else.
Some comics, from who knows where, revealed to you that this isn’t your biological family, that they’re also Gotham’s vigilantes, and that for a girl they’d known for only a few months, they abandoned you; To the daughter who, even if not by blood, had been part of the family all its life
Should you have seen it coming? Yes. Ever since you can remember, no one in this family has really worried about you, paid attention to you, or even looked at you. No parent events, no movie nights, nothing. You don’t have memories of anyone except Alfred giving you ice cream for every good grade on your tests.
Why were they different with you? More than half of the family doesn’t share blood, yet they still love and care for each other. Couldn’t you get just a little bit of that affection? What was different?
Was it because you took the place of your mother’s true daughter? Maybe they always felt like you didn’t belong, like you weren’t what they expected.
Serelith was the original, the real one. That’s why she earned their affection. That’s why everyone else cares about her. Not even your brothers… No, not even Bruce’s adopted sons or his two biological children lied. Only you. You were the only one who entered the family through a lie you never even told.
They’re detectives. Even if they don’t say anything or investigate, their instincts probably tell them you’re not who you’re supposed to be…
And now that you’ve confirmed the comics are real, it means you’re destined to suffer at the hands of the Joker.
In the comics, he finds out about Bruce’s “beloved” daughters, the only ones in the family who aren’t vigilantes, and kidnaps both of you. The family quickly comes up with a plan to search for you… to search for her. Bruce and the others completely forget you exist, leaving you at the mercy of one of Gotham’s worst criminals.
Were you okay? …No, you weren’t. Not while you remained in this family that doesn’t really feel like yours. What you want most now is to get out of here, for the Joker to never see you as Batman’s daughter, for no one to see you at all, until you’re far from where you never belonged. Only then would you be okay. But for now…
– Yeah, I’m fine – you answered, sounding a little too calm for Tim’s liking. He just sighed beside you and turned to face the other way. He couldn’t bear to look at you. Tomorrow, he’d make sure to finish the case and the situation at Wayne Enterprises as fast as possible, so he could focus entirely on figuring out what was going on with you. – Good night – Tim said as he tried to fall asleep. – Good night – you answered, turning your back to him as well, already thinking about how you’d make a plan tomorrow to leave this place as soon as possible.
This was supposed to be posted yesterday, but I had trouble concentrating and translating it into English. I’ll try to update this fic every Friday, or at least every two weeks if time allows. If for some reason I can’t stick to the two-week schedule (which probably means I have writer’s block and won’t be writing for a while), I’ll let you know. I’ll probably update on Ao3 first because the fanfic was originally written in my native language, and I’m posting everything there in its original form, in case anyone wants to check it out. On another note, I wonder if anyone will notice that the section dividers are different, one has Batfam and Philomel images in the background, and the other is empty…

joel gives the best graduation gifts...

Joel isn’t the type to get invited to these kinds of things.
Graduation parties for Ivy League brats. Champagne in fancy crystal flutes and catered hors d'oeuvres getting passed around on silver trays. Men in loafers and pastel polos calling each other “old buddy” without any irony. It’s a far cry from his usual crowd—his mangy old t-shirt and stained blue jeans stick out in the place like a damn sore thumb.
The invitation came from a distant friend, someone he used to work with before his career took him in an entirely different, much shiner direction. He was here more as a favor than anything else. Tommy’s been worried about him, says he needs to get out more.
“Meet some new people, drink a few beers.” He’d said with his hand clasped on Joel’s shoulder. “It ain’t healthy to spend every weekend fixin’ shit around the house, Joel.”
Joel doesn’t see the problem. He’s fine the way he is. But somehow, he still got roped into going when he could have used any excuse to pull out at the last second. He could have faked sick, faked busy, faked like he had anything else to do besides sit at a fancy oak table on a back porch bigger than the whole first story of his house, decorated in Yale blue balloons and streamers.
He regretted giving into Tommy the second he pulled up in the driveway—a too-big Craftsman style place in West Lake Hills, all clean laid brick and perfectly manicured lawns. Joel couldn’t for the life of him remember why he said yes in the first place. Maybe it was the guilt of worrying his brother. Maybe for the decent catered food and overpriced beers he knew would be there when he first got the address.
What he hadn’t expected—what hit him in the goddamn chest when the door swung open after he knocked—was you.
And Christ, did you look smug about it.
It had been months ago. The only reason Joel was even in Connecticut was to meet with a client, a big time East Coast entrepreneur who wanted a new add on to his ten car garage and was fine slinging around the money to pay for a round-trip flight and a cushy hotel room.
He hadn’t planned on going to the bar that night, but after hours of back-and-forth about permits and material costs, he needed a drink. Just one, maybe two—enough to take the edge off before heading back to the hotel.
It was a shitty little dive about ten minutes from where he was staying. The beer was cold, the lights were low, and he wasn’t supposed to be making decisions with his little head. But then he saw you across the way, right in the middle of the dancefloor.
You were in a circle with a few other girls, your dress riding up higher and higher each time you’d roll your hips to the heavy bass blaring from the overhead speakers.
Joel watched you like that for a while, leaned up against the bar lazily sipping at his beer. He hadn’t planned on doing anything about it, just sat there and enjoyed the view. But you’d caught him looking, and instead of turning away and pretending not to notice, you’d smirked.
Joel should have known right then that he was in trouble.
It wasn’t long before you left your little group and made your way over, slipping on the stool beside him like you belonged there, like you’d already made your mind up about what was going to happen next. You’d leaned in close, close enough for him to catch the scent of whatever perfume you’d rolled over your throat before heading out—something rich and heady that damn near made his head spin.
“Hey, cowboy.” You’d said with a tilt of your head, the long column of your neck dewy with a light sheen of sweat he wanted to feel under his tongue. “You’ve been watching me?”
There was no accusation in your voice, just a quiet sort of amusement, like you already knew the answer.
Joel had huffed a laugh, he didn’t see the point of denying it. He was a lot of things, but subtle wasn’t one of them. “Yeah.” He’d admitted, taking a slow sip of his beer before setting it down. “What about it?”
Your eyes dropped down the length of his body, studying him, and he’d let you. Let you take your time looking, even as heat crawled up the back of his neck.
“Buy me a drink?” You’d asked, smiling up at him like butter wouldn’t melt in your mouth.
That was all it took.
One drink turned into two, which turned into three, and then you were leaning into his space like you were made to be there. Your index finger teasingly tracing along the collar of his shirt as you whispered something filthy in his ear that had all the blood in his brain rushing down south.
Joel really shouldn’t have let it go any further than some goddamn footsie under the bar and a few dirty words whispered over the rims of shiny glasses, he was too old for shit like that. But you were just so damn tempting—confident and sharp and pretty as all hell.
Before Joel knew it he had you pressed up against the side of his truck, giggling into his mouth, fingers tugging at his belt like you couldn't get it off fast enough. You’d tasted like the fruity cocktails he bought you and something sweeter underneath, something distinctly you, and Joel had to have more.
You let him have it too—fisting his shirt and dragging him into the backseat without a care in the world, all eager hands and breathless laughter as you straddled his lap.
It was supposed to be just that. A reckless decision with a pretty young thing as the cherry on top of his trip. A one-night deal he’d let himself have because, fuck, it had been a long time since someone looked at him like that.
Joel tried his damndest to think how he should’ve, tried not to let some one off fuck turn him all sorts of ass backwards. He tried his damndest to boot you out of his mind the next morning when he was boarding the flight back to Austin—but you stuck anyway, like a burr in his goddamn brain.
The way you’d looked sprawled out under him, eyes glazed over with pleasure, lips parted, or the way you’d moaned his name like it was a prayer you needed him to hear. The way you’d rode him nice and slow, dragging your nails down his chest just to watch him shudder. The way you’d kissed him after, lazy and sweet, before sneaking off into the night like a goddamn thief.
Joel could've sworn he saw God that night, a smudged silhouette in the fogged up windows of his truck.
And now you’re here, standing in the doorway of some polished, high society home, looking like sin wrapped up in tulle and pearls.
Joel wasn’t a man who spooked easy, but seeing you again, surrounded by people who had no goddamn idea what you’d let him do to you in the backseat of his truck all those months ago, knocked him on his ass harder than a sucker punch.
The recognition was damn near instant, your eyes shining just as much as the sparkly sash that read “GRAD!” in big glittery letters. The initial shock gave way to a tiny, secret smile as your gaze slid up and down his body shamelessly, like this was some kind of funny inside joke.
Joel was seconds away from turning tail, walking back down your ridiculously long driveway and getting in his truck to get the hell out of there, but then your father was walking up behind you with a big grin on his face. He clapped Joel on the shoulder roughly and introduced his “Old buddy Joel Miller from his blue-collar days!”
You were all coy smiles and wide eyes. A sugared, “It’s so nice to meet you, Mr. Miller. Thank you for coming…” passing through your glossy lips.
The same lips that left shiny red smudges along the skin of his cock when you slid him down your throat, peering up at him with glassy eyes. The memory alone was enough to get heat stirring deep in his gut, and the way you looked at him now—all demure and polished, like you were some angelic scholar fresh off a podium—only made it worse.
Joel is too damn old for this.
“Very top of her class,” your father boasts, swishing his beer bottle through the air towards you flippantly. “Can you believe it? Just think of what we were doing at her age, brother. She sure as hell didn’t get any brains from me, that’s all her mother.”
Joel tries to chuckle with him, but it sounds strained, forced. He keeps his eyes facing forward, knee bouncing restlessly under the table. You’re looking at him again, hot and persistent against the side of his face. The heavy weight of your gaze practically begging him to look back. He doesn’t.
This dinner is it’s own form of torture, because of course, you just had to sit in the empty seat next to Joel—close enough that he can feel your knee bump up against his every few minutes.
He’s done a good job avoiding you until now, always walking the other direction when you waltz into the same room, not making eye contact when your gaze would sweep over the crowd hoping to catch his, trying for once in his life to be a good man.
A good man that suffers through this damn party without doing something he'll regret, that leaves at the end of the night and never has to see you again.
“Yeah,” he says, nervously starting to pick at the label of his own beer. Some snobby, imported New England brewery, probably sixty bucks a six-pack. “Good times.”
Joel can see you lean forward out of the corner of his eye, the neckline of your dress sliding down an inch as you stare at him, attention rapt. “What were you like back then, Mr. Miller?”
Joel nearly winces, his fingers tightening around the neck of his beer hard enough to turn the skin around his knuckles white.
‘Mr. Miller’ echoes in his ears lewdly, blaring like church bells. Your voice is nothing but a honey-sweet mockery, so syrupy he can nearly feel it trickling down his throat to add to the warmth settling low in his stomach.
Your father snorts over the lip of his bottle, answering you before Joel could open his mouth. “Joel didn’t go to college, honey. He went into the trades right after graduation,” he takes a long sip, Joel feels your knee bump against his again. “That’s how we met.”
You hum, nodding your head languidly. “You’re an architect too?”
Joel shakes his head, not looking at you as he answers. “Carpenter.”
Your father launches into some story about his old work days with Joel, about how back in the day, they were “real men” with “real jobs,” but Joel can barely process any of it. He nods along absently, lets out some half-hearted chuckles when he needs to.
Joel nearly puts his knee through the table when he feels your barefoot brush up against his ankle, hiking his jeans up ever so slightly. He shoots you a glare as subtly as he can.
It’s a look so sharp, so warning, that it should be enough to make you back the hell off from whatever game you’re playing. You’re not even looking at him anymore, eyes glued to your father as you nod along to whatever story he’s telling now.
But there’s a knowing little smile on your lips as your hand creeps beneath the table and falls into his lap, the pads of your fingers pressing against the inside of his thigh.
Joel goes still. Rigid as his breath catches on a sharp inhale.
Christ, you’re trying to kill him.
Your father’s voice pulls him out of the silent panic and heavy arousal waging a war inside of him. “How’s business, Joel?” he asks, leaning back in his chair. “You and Tommy still running things at a hundred miles a minute?”
Joel barely registers the question as your hand inches higher and higher. He can hear his own pulse pounding in his throat, in his chest, in his cock, already half-hard in his boxers from some goddamn heavy petting like a wet behind the ears teenager.
“Yeah, we–” Joel pauses, willing his voice to steady with a quick cough to clear his throat. “We’ve been pretty busy with Summer rollin' around.”
Your father hums in agreement, cracking open another beer. “Of course, my schedule’s been a killer too this season,” he brags shamelessly, tone heavy with understanding like he and Joel are in the same boat. Only your fathers boat is a three million dollar yacht sailing for blue-print meetings with big shot celebrities and architectural digest interviews. “It’s a miracle I even had time to fly in for the party, isn’t that right sweetheart?”
Your hand slides up the length of his cock in one slow stroke, your palm grinding roughly over the tip through the tented denim.
“Yes, daddy.”
Your voice has gone all light and airy around the edges, almost melodic as it buries itself in Joel’s ears. At first, Joel thinks you’re talking to your father, but when his eyes flick over to you, you’re looking at him—your eyes half-lidded and sparkling with something dangerous as your fingers tug at the tab of his zipper.
Joel’s hand flies to your wrist, squeezing tight enough to stop your pawing at his now fully hard cock. “Alright if I use your bathroom?” he asks sharply, his voice a little too loud. He tosses your hand away and stands abruptly from his chair before he’s got an answer.
“Of course,” your father says easily, thankfully not noticing the tension at the table, or the way Joel’s trying to subtly hold his hands over his crotch. He turns his attention towards you, “Would you show Joel where the downstairs bathroom is, honey?”
Your smile only widens as you slip your sandal on and calmly stand from your own chair. “Sure,” you say breezily, but you’re not looking at your father, dark eyes still glued to Joel’s. “Follow me.”
The flowy fabric of your dress swishes behind you as you walk through the yard, Joel hot on your heels. He waits until you're both in the house, stepping through the open sliding glass door and out of view before his hand flies to your arm and squeezes hard.
Joel hears you wince softly, but you don’t try to fight your way out of his grip. He leans down closer, his lips inches away from your ear. His voice is low and rough as he grits out, “Take me to your room, now.”
You lead him through the kitchen and up the stairs silently, but Joel can still see the smug smile on your lips as you turn the corner. The need to slap that bratty shit right off your face wracks through him like thunder, anger burning hotter in his chest with every step.
You push the door to your bedroom open and step inside, barely turning to face him before Joel slams the door shut behind him and stalks past you. His eyes are dark, filled with a mix of rage and want as he stares you down.
“Do you think this is a goddamn game?” His voice is teeming with fury, the calm facade he scarcely maintained at dinner now entirely gone. “That you can do whatever the hell you please because your Daddy’s sittin' across from you?”
You bite your bottom lip, leaning against the door with your arms crossed behind your back coyly. “You didn’t bring me a present.”
It’s a taunt if Joel’s ever heard one, and it finally breaks him.
He crosses the room in three large strides, pinning you against the door. His hands on either side of your head, caging you in. Joel cranes his neck down, his face inches away from yours. He can smell your perfume this close, it’s different than what you wore at the bar—something soft and girly and sweet that has his cock straining in his boxer.
“You’re real fuckin' proud of yourself aren’t you?” he spits roughly, watching the way your pupils dilate, eyes going glossy under his intensity. “Does your old man know how much of a tramp his precious little baby girl is? That she’s got such a greedy fuckin' pussy she can’t help herself from rubbin' his buddy Joel’s cock under the table like a desperate slut.”
“Joel,” you whisper breathlessly, all the attitude draining from you at the drop of a hat the second he gets a little mean. Your eyes are stuck on his lips and, after a beat, you start leaning in, like you’ll die if you don’t kiss him.
Joel stops you with a hand fisted in your hair, keeping you still a few centimeters away from his lips. A pitiful whine falls from your slack mouth, wide eyes flicking back up to meet his with a pleading look.
“You want me to kiss you, princess?” he asks, mean and condescending. Your breath puffs over his lips, hot and needy as you nod your head as best you can. Joel laughs, dark and cool as he shakes his head slowly. “Whores like you don’t get kissed baby, they get fucked.”
It does something to you—Joel can see it in the way your lashes flutter, in the way your thighs press together, like you can feel his words between your legs. He watches the rise and fall of your chest quicken, the way your lips part as a little breathless sound escapes them, and he knows he’s got you right where he wants you.
Desperate. Squirming. Ready to let him ruin you.
“Look at you,” he murmurs, low and almost reverent, but the wicked curl of his lips betrays the softness in his tone. “Bet you’re already soaked, aren’t you?”
You nod, your chest rising up to press against his with every breath.
“Words,” he demands, voice sharp as a needle. Your thighs twitch at the sound of it.
“Yes,” you breathe shakily. “I’ve been wet since you got here.”
That has Joel groaning, jaw ticking as his cock twitches heavily in his boxers, pre-come oozing into the cotton.
He doesn’t waste another second. He drops your hair to grab your shoulders, pulling and pushing until you’re tumbling onto your old bed. You let out a sharp gasp as your back hits the mattress, the force of it bouncing you a few times.
Joel looms over you, watching you, finally letting himself get a good look at the picture you make. Splayed across dainty floral sheets, chest heaving, staring up at him with need written all over your pretty face. It practically pumps off of you in waves, he can almost taste it.
Without another word, Joel reaches for his belt, his heavy gaze never leaving yours. The metal of his buckle clinks loudly in the quiet of the room, underscored by the quick pants of your breath. It snaps with how hard he yanks it out of his belt loops, the leather cracking in the air menacingly.
"You wanted this," Joel mutters, popping the button on his jeans, dragging the zipper down with a sharp hiss. "You practically fuckin’ begged for it."
You make a desperate little sound at the sight of his cock finally being freed from the confines of his jeans—thick, heavy, and leaking when it slaps against his stomach. Your legs spread wider like an offering, like you need it in you now.
Joel huffs out a laugh, grabbing your ankle and yanking you down the bed, making you squeak in surprise. He climbs on the mattress, his body completely blanketing yours so you couldn’t move if you wanted to.
His hand drags down your body, over the swell of your breasts, over your ribs, the curve of your hip, until he’s gripping the hem of your dress. Joel slips his hand under the skirt, rough palms gliding up the soft skin of your thighs before gripping the meat of them hard enough to bruise.
The thought of you finding the marks tomorrow, pretty shades of purple and yellow branding your skin as a reminder of this moment, of what Joel did to you—it makes his stomach flip with a sick thrill.
It doesn’t take much for Joel to push the bunched fabric around your hips the rest of the way up, exposing the barely-there scrap of lace covering you.
He makes a sound low in his throat when he sees the little damp spot blooming along the powder blue fabric. “So fuckin’ needy,” he mutters, tracing his middle finger along the wet seam of your pussy, featherlight, teasing. “Can’t even sit through one damn dinner without beggin’ for my attention like a two-bit truck stop whore.”
You nod frantically, lips trembling, pupils blown wide as you blink up at him.
Joel tsks mockingly, raising his palm to give your clothed pussy a sharp slap that has you crying out. “Use your words, baby.”
“Yes,” you gasp. “Please, Joel.”
Your voice is so soft, so wrecked. And Joel feels himself get impossibly harder, his cock throbbing where it’s pressed against your stomach, blurting pre-come onto the delicate pink tulle of your dress. He can hardly wait any longer.
Joel hooks a finger into the leg of your panties, dragging them down hard enough that he hears a rip. He can’t find it in himself to care, he just pulls them far enough that they pool around your ankles uselessly.
He finally takes himself in his hand so he can drag his cock through the wet mess of your pussy, bumping it up against your hole but not giving you a damn inch. A devastating noise falls from your lips, slow and sweet as molasses, your hips buck up off the mattress, trying to take him in. He presses one heavy hand down on your stomach, keeping you still.
“Ask me for it,” Joel whispers darkly, slapping the head over your glistening clit. “Beg for my cock.”
Your fingers curl into the sheets, frustration and desire burning in the inky black of your pupils. “Please, Joel. It’s all I can think about, can only think about you,” you ramble senseslessly, voice breathless. “About you fucking me. About your cock stretching me open. Please fuck me, please, want it so bad.”
Fuck, he loves hearing you beg.
Joel grips your hips, holding you steady as he presses inside, slow at first, just enough to make you gasp, enough to let you feel how thick he is stretching you open. He curses, head falling forward as he watches himself disappear inside you inch by inch.
Your hands scramble along the length of his back, nails scratching uselessly as you try to adjust to the sudden fullness. Joel knows he’s too big, the stretch too much all at once without prep. He knows it. He just doesn’t give a damn.
“I know, it’s a big stretch ain’t it?” Joel coos, his thumbs rubbing soothing circles over the skin of your hips. “You can still take it, darlin’. It’s what you wanted, wanted me to lose my goddamn mind and ruin this sweet little pussy.”
You nod desperately, a loud cry bursting from your chest as he pulls you back until his hips are flush with your ass. Your velvety heat feels scalding around him, snug and perfect, like it was made for him—made for his cock.
“Fuck, baby,” he stays there for a beat, buried to the hilt—forcing you really feel the full, aching stretch before he starts to move. He drags his cock out to the tip, almost all the way, before slamming forward again, knocking the breath from your lungs. “That’s it—take it all, just like that.”
Joel sets a brutal pace, fucking you so deep he swears he must be in your goddamn guts. His grip is merciless, his fingers digging into your hips as he uses them to pull you back against him, meeting every punishing thrust. The dirty sound of skin on skin fills the room, mixing with the slick squelch of your pussy as it tries to suck him back in each time he pulls out, the pretty soft gasps and moans you’re struggling to keep quiet the cherry on top of it all.
It’s so loud, a symphony of lewd sounds bouncing off the walls enough that Joel would be worried that someone might overhear if your house wasn’t such a maze.
Joel watches you writhe beneath him, your back arching, hands grasping at his shoulders, his arms, his hair, desperate for something to hold onto as he fucks into you with ruthless precision. Every thrust sends a shockwave through your body, makes your breath hitch, your legs trembling where they’re locked tight around his waist.
“Poor thing,” he mutters, voice a low rasp in your ear. “Too dumb to talk now, huh? Just layin’ here, takin’ it like a good little whore.”
Your eyes roll back in your head when he tilts his hips, the new angle forcing his cock to rub up against your sweet spot with every thrust. “Joel–”
Joel leans over you, breath hot against your ear as he mutters, “This what you needed, baby? Needed Daddy’s friend to hike your pretty dress up and fuck you good and hard like this?” He speeds his hips up fast enough to get the bed shaking on its frame. “Actin’ like a spoiled little brat all night just so I’d drag you up here and teach you some fuckin’ manners?”
“Yes, yes, yes, fuck—” Your words slur together, breathy and high-pitched, your fingers twisting in his hair as he keeps up that relentless pace.
Joel reaches up to snatch your jaw in a tight grip, the rhythm of his hips never faltering. “Open your mouth,” he growls, fingers digging into the meat of your cheeks meanly. When you don’t, too fucked out of your mind to listen, he shakes your head back and forth like a bad dog. “Open it.”
The command breaks through the pleasure filled haze clouding your mind, and your mouth falls open obediently. Your slick lips parting enough for Joel to see the enticing pink of your tongue. A groan claws its way out from deep in his chest, and he leans down close to spit into your mouth.
Your moan is a high, choked whine as your eyes flutter shut, your pussy squeezing around his cock impossibly tighter.
“Don’t you dare fuckin’ swallow,” he says, fucking into your clenching heat harder. “Hold it right there.”
You open your eyes to stare up at him like he’s some kind of God, your lashes clumped together and glossy with unshed tears—gaze glazed over with a kind of bliss that makes something dark and satisfied wriggle to life in his chest.
“Good girl,” he mutters, barely above a whisper, but the words hit you like a sack of bricks. Your walls squeeze around him, and he groans low in his chest. His hands grip your thighs, spreading you even wider so he can watch the way his cock disappears into your puffy pussy, shining with your slick every time he pulls out. “Look at that. Fuckin’ made to take cock, aren’t you?”
You moan around closed lips, nails digging little crescent moons into his shoulders so hard that he can feel his shirt ripping under the force of it. Joel can tell you’re getting close, your whole body trembling violently as the coil of your orgasm winds tighter and tighter.
“Go ahead and swallow for me, baby girl.” Joel needs to hear you, needs to hear you say his name when you come on his cock. “Wanna hear that pretty voice.”
The sound of you swallowing is music to Joel’s ears, his hips stuttering as he watches your throat work.
“Please,” you gasp, fat crocodile tears rolling down your cheeks. “Need to come, need you to make me—”
“Yes,” he hisses, his thrusts turning sloppy for a beat before he regains his rhythm. “You gonna come for me, baby? Gonna soak my cock nice and good?”
His words push you right over the edge. Your entire body tenses, pleasure rolling through you in a white-hot wave as your climax crashes over you, stealing your breath. You sob Joel’s name, thighs shaking uncontrollably, body shuddering beneath him as you clench down so fucking tight he can barely move.
Joel groans, his jaw going slack as he watches you fall apart, losing himself in the feel of your pussy milking his cock. He grits his teeth, hips snapping erratically as he chases his own release.
“Fuck—gonna fill you up, baby,” he groans, voice wrecked. “Gonna fuck you full of me, make you mine.”
With one last thrust, Joel spills inside of you. He buries himself as deep as he can go, warmth flooding your core as spurt after spurt of come paints your insides, thick and hot. His body shakes with the force of it, a deep, guttural moan falling from his lips as he rides out his orgasm.
Joel just stays there, panting, his forehead resting against yours.
For a moment, both of you are too overwhelmed to move. You just lay on the mattress tangled together in the aftermath, breaths mingling, bodies slick with sweat. Joel smooths his hands up your sides, grounding himself as you both come down from the highs of ecstasy.
When you finally stop shaking, Joel pulls back just enough to look at you, to take in the wrecked, spent look on your face. He brushes his knuckles over your sweaty cheek, softer than before. “Still think I didn’t bring you a present?”
You let out an amused huff, pushing your hands up under the back of his shirt so you can trace the column of his spine with gentle fingers. “Trust me, it’s the only present I’m getting that’ll be worth a damn. Money can’t buy this, Miller.”
Joel chuckles, low and smooth as warmth blooms in his chest. He presses a lingering kiss to your shoulder. “You earned it, baby.”

loser bf! RODRICK HEFFLEY hc

tags — fem!reader﹒sfw + nsfw﹒headcanons
loser bf!rodrick, who makes a huge show of pda whenever his brother is around. he’ll sling his arm around your shoulder and be like, “yeah, greg. my girlfriend. isn’t she hot?” greg is still fully convinced rodrick’s paying you to be his fake girlfriend, though he has no idea where he’s got the money.
loser bf!rodrick, who lets you sit in on band practice and tries so hard to keep it together, but the second his bandmates start flirting with you, he completely falls apart. his drumming gets so off-tempo that they have to stop and start over.
loser bf!rodrick, who lent you his algebra textbook and completely forgot he’d been doodling your name with his last name all over the margins. when you handed it back, smirking, he looked like he wanted to die.
loser bf!rodrick, whose idea of a date is a night drive to the gas station, where you both load up on slushies and hot dogs. you sit in the parking lot and steal bites off each other’s food (even though you have the same toppings)
loser bf!rodrick, who awkwardly asked his mom to use the “nice-smelling” laundry detergent on his shirts because he knows you like to steal them after having sex and he doesn’t want you thinking he’s gross.
loser bf!rodrick, whose mom acts like you’re already part of the family, offering you snacks and calling you “sweetie” every time you visit. she loves to (unintentionally) embarrassing her eldest son by showing you all of his baby pictures. all the while rodrick hides in the basement.
loser bf!rodrick, whose dad corners you during family dinners and awkwardly tries to sell you on how “rodrick is really a fine young man, despite, uh… some quirks.” you just nod politely while rodrick sits there, sinking into his chair with a beet-red face.
loser bf!rodrick, whose bandmates are constantly making moves on you, asking if you “need anything” during practice or offering to carry your stuff. rodrick will get so pissed that he threatens to kick them out of the band. you think it’s hilarious how defensive he gets.
loser bf!rodrick, who always gives you the front seat in his van, no questions asked. greg has to squish in the back with the instruments, too bad lol.
loser bf!rodrick, who pretends to be terrible at eyeliner just so you’ll do it for him. in return, he paints your nails—or you can also paint his (in exclusively black).
loser bf!rodrick, who acts reluctant whenever you drag him into photobooths at the mall. the two of you end up making the dumbest faces before you lean in and kiss him right on the mouth… with tongue.
loser bf!rodrick, who lets you doodle on his arm with a sharpie, and he refuses to wash them off. they stay there until they fade completely.
loser bf!rodrick, who finally starts wearing deodorant consistently because of you. it’s not even something you asked him to do—he just noticed you sniffing his shirts a little more critically and panicked. now, he’s always freshly applied before seeing you.
loser bf!rodrick, who gets hard every time you kiss him.
loser bf!rodrick, who tries his best to keep his room somewhat presentable whenever you come over. he knows it’s still a fucking disaster by normal standards, but for rodrick, clearing a path to the bed is a grand romantic gesture.
loser bf!rodrick, who’s obsessed so with seeing your hickeys on him. he never bothers to hide them—in fact, he wears them like badges.
loser bf!rodrick, who almost accidentally used the wrong side of the condom when you had sex for the first time.
loser bf!rodrick, who absolutely melts when you tug on his hair during sex. he didn’t even realise he had a thing for it until the first time you did it. now, he practically begs for it without using words, tilting his head back and grinning like a total idiot whenever your fingers get close.
loser bf!rodrick, who keeps every random thing you’ve ever given him — notes you’ve passed to him in class, concert tickets, even candy wrappers.
loser bf!rodrick, who hates being bossed around but will do anything you ask, especially if it involves you kissing his cheek or ruffling his hair in thanks. he’s so whipped and everyone knows it.
loser bf!rodrick, who brags to greg about how sexy and smart and pretty you are, just to rub it in, but secretly feels like he doesn’t deserve you. he gets this dumb, soft look on his face whenever you’re around, like he still can’t believe you chose him.

Klaus Mikaelson X Soulmate!Reader x Elijah Mikaelson Ch. 26
Word Count- 4.8k
Warnings- ARSON, swearing, mentions of sex and threesomes
“Wait so Theo tried giving my brothers the sex talk?”
I tighten my jacket as I cringe at Rebekah’s question. The blonde original walks beside me past construction workers and townspeople as we make our way over to Wickey Bridge.
“I wish I was joking. He’s so corny.”
Rebekah lets out a chuckle, “And let me guess, my brothers sat down and listened.”
I let out a sigh, “Every second of it.”
“What happened after you kicked Theo out?”
I frown as I recall last night, “Nothing. Like… literally nothing. Theo went to his room and then Klaus and Elijah stood up and then Elijah wished me a good night, and then they just left,” I raise my hands in defeat and Rebekah rolls her eyes.
“Well what did you want to happen,” I close my mouth as I hear Rebekah’s tone and see the smirk on her face.
“Nothing…shut up.”
Rebekah shakes her head, “Then you have nothing to complain about,” She eyes me, “Right?”
I eye her back and nod, “Yep. Nothing at all.”
Rebekah rolls her eyes at me and mutters something quietly under her breath before wrapping her arm in mine and dragging me toward Carol Lockwood.
“Why are we here anyways,” I shake slightly as a brush of wind hits my face, “It’s cold. And there’s too many people here.”
“I told you in the car, I need some information. We’ll leave as soon as I get it.”
Rebekah leads us to Carol who plasters a huge fake smile as soon as she sees the Original and it slightly dampers when his eyes meet mine and I fight the urge to roll my own.
“Rebekah and…Y/n,” Her tone tightens as she says my name, “What a pleasure you’re both here! How can I help you?”
Before Rebekah can respond I spot a refreshments table and untangle my arm from Bekah’s. She frowns at me but when I point towards the drinks she nods, going back to talk to Carol.
I’d rather lobotomize myself than have a conversation with that woman.
—
I blow out a breath as I nurse the styrofoam cup filled with cocoa in my hands. The warmth momentarily giving my hands some much-needed heat.
“Pukey, you hear with Barbie Klaus I presume?”
I turn around and my eyes meet Damon’s blue ones.
“Sadly, yes.”
My attention strays to a pretty red-headed woman who stands beside him, an amused smile comes over her face as she gives me a once over.
“Pukey?”
“It’s Y/n.”
She blinks as she hears my name and something momentarily shifts in her gaze, and then her smile turns into a small smirk that unsettles me.
She reaches out her hand for me to shake but Damon pushes it down.
“Touching is a big no-go for Pukey,” He says and I fight back a small smile.
I turn my gaze back to the woman, “And your name?”
She smiles, “Sage. My name is Sage.”
No way. Not possible. Too easy. This can’t be Sage Sage. Finn’s Sage?!
“Rightttt,” I twiddle my thumbs trying to act casual, “And um how exactly do you know Damon?” “He used to be a student of mine.”
Damon smirks, “A longgggg time ago.”
Be casual Y/n. CASUAL.
“How old are you?”
Sage raises an amused brow, “Hasn’t anyone ever told you you should never ask a woman her age.”
“Well, I think that only applies to women who actually age,” I mutter and I see Damon roll his eyes.
“I’m a little over 900 years old. But, who's counting,” Her response has my stomach flipping and I’m fighting the urge to test if I can do a backflip. IT IS HER.
I mean it’s got to be, right? There can’t be that many 900-year-old vampires named Sage.
“Look what the cat dragged in,” Our attention is turned toward Bekah who joins us. An annoyed look is plastered on her face as she stares at Sage.
“Easy there Rebekah,” Damon chides, “She used to beat men for sport.”
“That’s a hobby I need to get into,” I remark and Sage sends me a smirk.
“She always was quite common,” Rebekah says. Oh yikes.
“Rebekah, what a happy surprise,” Sage responds.
“What are you doing here, Sage?”
“Well, I hear Finn was finally freed from that casket your rageaholic brother Klaus carted him around in.”
Ohhh. Yet another fan of my man.
“I wouldn’t be too harsh on my brother in front of Y/n here. I’ve heard soulmates have a tendency to get quite prickly when their other half is insulted. Not that you’d know,” Rebekah smirks, and I cringe and silently curse at her as everyone’s attentions go to me.
“I thought your name sounded familiar,” Sage eyes me and within a second Damon positions himself in front of me.
“Touching Pukey is a death sentence, Sage. I would advise against it,” Damon eyes the woman and she rolls her own.
“I’m not stupid enough to do that. But let’s be serious Damon I taught you everything you know. You can’t beat me.”
I position myself so I can see Damon’s face, “Oh, it’s not me you should be worried about. Yes, Pukey here is under my protection, but I’m not the one who would torture you until you're begging for your death. That falls upon…well let’s see,” He picks up his hand and starts counting on his fingers, “Klaus “The Great Evil” Mikeaelson, his noble brother Elijah, the annoying one Kol, Barbie over here, and last but not least your boy toy Finn. Along with all the other supernaturals of Mystic Falls.”
Sage looks from Damon to Bekah who just nods in agreement, “I hate to agree with the bastard but he’s telling the truth. Going against Y/n is going against the Mikaelsons.”
Sage clears her throat, “Well it’s a good thing I mean her no harm then.”
“Yep…sure is,” I mutter.
“Now where can I find Finn?”
“Probably somewhere forgetting all about you,” Rebekah remarks and then reaches over and wraps her arm in mind, “Come, I’ll buy us lunch.”
Before Bekah can fully pull me away I lean towards Sage, “Have Damon give you my number and I can help you.”
Sage’s eyebrows furrow but she still nods.
—
Well, that was a bust.
Rebekah canceled our lunch once she got into the car. After talking to Damon and Sage, Rebekah told me she had forgotten her coat and would meet me back at her car. But when she came back 10 minutes later she was more annoyed and volatile than usual, muttering something about Damon being a dick and other profanities. She apologized to me and said she’d have to rain-check our lunch date to a time when she didn’t feel like murdering everyone around her. I told her not to worry about it and that I wasn’t hungry.
I lied. I’m fucking starving and now I’m home looking at a bare fridge since my mother hasn’t gone grocery shopping in however long. I don’t want to have to go out and get something but at this point, it’s either go and deal with people at the grocery store or starve.
Starving might be better.
I grab my keys though when I realize that Theo still needs to eat dinner. I fling open the front door and- FUCK!
“Fuck me!”
“I’ve been trying, Luv.”
My eyes narrow and my cheeks warm as I stare at Klaus who is watching me with a soft smirk.
“What the hell are you doing here,” I huff out and clutch my chest.
“Well, it’s good to see you as well,” The hybrid replies sarcastically.
I give him a deadpan look and he rolls his eyes.
“My dear sister told me she had to cancel lunch with you so I thought I would ask you if you would accompany me instead.”
I feel a small smile make its way onto my face, “Are you asking me on a date?”
Klaus eyes me for a moment before turning his attention to the chipping white paint of the front door frame.
“I suppose.”
“Damn, don’t sound too excited,” I mutter sarcastically.
Klaus huffs and looks back at me, “That’s not what I…I just meant that” A look of frustration comes over his face while I watch in amusement.
“For being as old as you are you would think you’d be better at this whole date thing,” I smirk at him.
“Well none of the ones before ever mattered the way you do,” Klaus seems to respond without thinking.
I wring my hands and Klaus and I eye each other for a moment before I look away.
“Well, sadly I can’t go out for lunch since my fantastic mother seems to have forgotten to get any groceries for our house. Which means once again I have to go out and get them myself.”
A wave of sadness washes over me and I look to see Klaus’ shoulders drop slightly.
` “But…if you want to come,” I point towards my car, “Shopping with me. I could always have your super strength carry the bags.”
I doubt a one-thousand-year-old hybrid wants to spend his afternoon grocery shopping when he has enemies to fight and-
“I’ll come.”
—
“Princess, I’m immortal and yet with the way you’re driving I fear for my life,” Klaus’ voice comes out sarcastically but with the way I can see him frantically eyeing the road from his position in the passenger seat, I don’t think he’s joking.
I press my foot on the gas as I pass an old woman in a red Ford, “You’re being dramatic. Look we’re here.”
Forgetting my blinker, I whip my car into the small grocery store parking lot and slam it into park.
“See we’re here,” I turn to smile at Klaus but I find him staring wide-eyed at me.
“Is this how you drive all the time?”
I shrug, take the keys out of the ignition, and open my door, “I’ve got places to be, why would I wait in traffic?”
Klaus gets out of the car as well and meets me at the trunk as we begin to walk into the small grocery store, “You passed 4 cars in a 10-minute drive.”
“They were going too slow.”
“You were going 20 over the speed limit,” Klaus’ frustrated voice makes me laugh.
Klaus is quiet for a moment as we reach the automatic door. I turn to him and question and it takes him a second to snap out of whatever stupor he was in.
“What was that all about,” I ask as I grab a cart and lean the front of my body on it.
“Nothing,” Klaus denies as we pass an elderly couple arguing over bananas, “I just don’t get to hear your laugh very often.”
I shrug and smirk at him as we approach the produce section, “Ever think it might just be because you’re not as funny as you think you are?”
“Nope,” Klaus says as he grabs a produce bag and hands it to me.
“Of course not.”
` The bickering couple and the overhead music of an old pop song are the only things heard as I put different fruits and vegetables into plastic bags as Klaus follows behind me. Every time one of my bags gets full Klaus is right there with another. I stare at the cart momentarily and nod.
“I think that's all for produce,” Klaus walks beside me, looks down at the cart, and nods as well.
“What next?”
I stop for a moment and look up at the man everyone else in this town is terrified of and laugh under my breath before turning back towards the cart, pushing it towards the dairy section.
“What was that,” Klaus points a finger at me.
“I just find this funny,” I say simply.
“Find what funny?”
“You,” I grab a gallon of milk when we hit the aisle, “Being here. Grocery shopping. Everyone else in this town is probably trying to plan your demise and here you are shopping for 2% Low-fat milk,” I say as I put the milk in the cart.
“Well, personally I prefer 1%,” His sarcastic reply has me shaking my head, “And yes I know your little friends our out there planning my great demise but…until my death is imminent, which it isn’t if domestic shopping is what you and I do together than,” He grabs a bottle of $3 wine off the shelf and glances at it for a moment before cringing in disgust and putting it back, “Than that’s what we shall do.”
I think about his words as we walk through the store and grab other items, from cereal to pasta, and random snacks, and from time to time, Klaus will throw in his own items.
I lift on my tip toes as I try to grab the sauce can that is on the very top shelf. I hear Klaus mutter a laugh from behind me before I feel his hand place itself on my upper waist to move me out of the way.
“Is it really that hard for you to ask for help,” He comments as he grabs the can with ease and places it into the cart.
“Yes.”
Klaus rolls his eyes but the ghost of a smile on his lips tells me he was already certain of what my answer would be.
I turn back towards the cart and sigh, “I think that’s it.”
Klaus nods and follows behind me as we walk towards the checkout line.
—
“Oh come on, Theo!”
I growl and Klaus, who is putting all the groceries from the cart and onto the checkout stand instantly looks up.
“What’s wrong?”
“Theo just asked me to get his stupid gummy worms,” I look at the cashier clerk, who is slowly ringing in each item, and then look to Klaus.
“Can you-”
“Go,” Is all he says and I’m running towards the candy aisle to find Theo’s stupid ass gummies.
After way too long I find them squished in between some chocolate and peanuts and run back towards the checkout line where the clerk is giving Klaus a dirty look, but he doesn’t seem to notice or care.
I look at all our bagged groceries and swear under my breath, giving the gummies to the clerk.
“Sorry for the hold-up,” I apologize and I hear a scratchy laugh from behind me.
I turn to see the old woman and man from before waiting in line behind us. She smiles thoughtfully as she leans towards me.
“You’ve got a good man here,” She points to Klaus who is clearly pretending not to eavesdrop, “She kept telling him he had to pay and you’d just have to go back at the end of the line but he wouldn’t budge.”
I turn to look at Klaus but frown when I see him swipe his card through the reader.
“Dude!”
Klaus punches in his pin and just shrugs, “You’re friend over there is still talking to you.”
“He even pays for you,” I turn back to the woman who is looking dreamily at Klaus and if she were 50 years younger I’d probably fight her for looking at him that way. Might still now.
“I have to drag my old bastard here by the ear just to get him up in the morning, let alone to the store with me,” She points to the man beside her who rolls his eyes before placing a kiss on her cheek.
“Love you too, My Everly,” The man says as he puts their groceries on the stand. And even though the woman tries to play it tough the look of love and admiration she has in her eyes gives her true feelings away.
“Married for 47 years and he still knows how to get on every one of my nerves,” She mutters lovingly, “Make sure to keep that one though. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a man look at a woman the way he does to you. When you have something like that child, grab it and don’t let go. And it helps that he’s quite easy on the eyes.”
I nod and bid her goodbye. I turn to Klaus who is waiting by the entrance of the store with our bagged groceries and a knowing look on his face.
“Have a good chat?”
“Oh shut up,” I mutter as I punch him in the shoulder.
“I am easy on the eyes aren’t I?”
Klaus smirks to himself while sighing, “You Mikaelsons need to work on your egos. I swear to God.”
“All of our egos are very much healthy and intact, thank you very much.”
“Ya…that’s the problem.”
—
“Cans go in that shelf over there, Klaus,” I point to the middle shelf right in front of Klaus and he nods, putting the cans of vegetables into the cabinet.
We got back home 20 minutes ago and after Klaus helped me lug all the groceries in, the ones he paid for, he then just started unloading them and placing them into cabinets and the fridge. It’s been almost comical to watch Klaus’ tall frame try to maneuver around in my tiny kitchen, but somehow he’s managed.
“Remind me to buy you a bigger house,” I hear him mutter and I laugh.
“Yes, please do. And make sure it has a big ass library,” I point at him, “Oh! And I want one of those built-in window chairs, so I can read while seeing the stars at night,” I nod at him jokingly but as I stare at the look on his face I freeze.
“That was a joke, Klaus. I know what you’re thinking,” I put my finger in his face and he gives me an innocent look, “Don’t you dare buy me a house. I’ve come to learn how you Mikaelsons like to throw your money around and I don’t want any part of it.”
Klaus gives me an upside-down smile and nods.
“Oh! That reminds me,” I grab the last grocery bag and start dumping out the contents, “Remind me to give your brother back the expensive ass jewelry he gave me for the ball.”
Klaus grabs a loaf of bread and places it in the bread box, “Good luck with that, Luv. My brother can be more stubborn than I am when it comes to you.”
I put a hand on my hip, “Elijah? Stubborn? I highly doubt that.”
The kitchen is quiet for a moment before a loud laugh comes out of Klaus’ mouth. I pause what I’m doing and find myself smiling as I watch the pretty man in front of me.
“Luv,” Klaus manages to get out between laughs, “The only reason you haven’t seen that side of my older brother is because he hasn’t let you…or really doesn’t want you to see that side of him. Don’t get me wrong, Elijah is noble,” Klaus rolls his eyes, “Annoyingly so. But he is also the pettiest being I have come across in over a thousand years. There is no one I know that will play dirtier than him when it comes to protecting the people he cares about. And you luv,” Klaus takes a step closer to me so he can reach out to grab a piece of my hair and twirl it between his fingers, “Are at the top of his list of loved ones.”
—-
“Well this was almost not horrible,” I tell Klaus as I walk him to the front door.
Klaus snorts sarcastically, “And that was almost a compliment. You and I are making great progress.”
I roll my eyes and open the door for him and his smirk drops, “But in all honesty, Y/n… I-,” Klaus pauses as if he’s having a hard time trying to find the words.
“Me too Klaus. Thank you for coming with me today. It was nice not having to do it by myself like usual.”
Klaus smiles, “You know I could always hire someone to do your shopping for you.”
I raise an eyebrow, “You mean compel someone?”
Klaus’ upper lip quirks, “I never said that.”
I tilt my head, “You didn’t need to.”
Klaus rolls his eyes playfully before shrugging, “Well whenever you get tired of mundane shopping let me know, Luv.”
“Goodbye, Klaus,” I push him outside and he lets me.
“Goodbye, Luv.”
—
“Who is this?”
I pad around the kitchen with my bowl of ice cream as I answer an unknown call.
“Sage. Damon’s friend from earlier. You told me to get your number from him,” The feminine voice makes my eyes widen and I place my ice cream down on the counter.
“Oh! Hi! How are you?”
“Um, I’m alright. How are you,” Her tone comes out slightly confused.
“Eh, eating ice cream. What can I help you with Sage?”
“Finding my beloved, Finn.”
Oh, shit ya.
“Oh right, ya me and Finn and tight. He’s been waiting for you,” I say as I take a spoonful of ice cream and put it into my mouth.
“He has,” The hopefulness in her voice makes me smile.
“Umhm. And you didn’t hear this from me but he thinks you are his soulmate.”
Sage is quiet for a moment, “I know he’s mine. Will you help me find him?”
“Ya, sure when do you want to meet?”
“Now?”
Her rushed tone makes me pause and look at my fluffy bunny slippers, PJ shorts and my “I Heart my Turtle” shirt.
“It’s 10 pm?”
“Yes, I know… please Y/n, I’ve waited 900 years for this moment. I can’t wait another second.”
I pinch the bridge of my nose, “Um ya sure…I’ll text you my address.”
—-
“You’re not going to try to kill me right?”
Sage, who stands at the front of my door raises an eyebrow, “If I even thought about causing you harm Klaus and Elijah would be here in under a minute ripping me to shreds.”
I nod. Good Point.
“Come in.”
Sage takes a hesitant step over the threshold and into my small entryway.
“Your house is…”
I roll my eyes, “What? Quaint?”
“Homey,” Sage smiles softly, “It looks like a home,” She takes off her jacket and holds it in her arms, “The only thing that kept me going after Klaus daggered my Finn was the hope that one day he and I could have something like this… something that we could call our home.”
I fight the urge to let out a loud “awww.”
“Well then, we shouldn’t keep Finn waiting,” I grab my jacket and place it over my PJ shirt.
“Wait…”
I turn at Sage’s voice and my stomach drops when I see the guilty look on her face.
“Please tell me you're not actually going to kill me,” I raise my hands up in a fighting stance and she shakes her head.
“No, but… you’re helping me out of the kindness of your heart so I have to admit something to you…”
I stand there completely quiet and still as she goes on to tell me the information she’s done tonight. From having a threesome with Damon and Bekah (gross) to going into Bekah’s mind to learn that Wickery Bridge was actually made from the same tree that the white oak came from and that if the Salvatore’s got a hold of it they’d kill the Mikaelsons.
“So…what do we do?”
Sage shakes her head, “I don’t know.”
We stand there in silence for a moment before a Theo-level-bad-idea comes to my mind, “I’m going to propose something. But if the cops show up you’re compelling us out of there.”
Sage gives me a worried look.
—
“Ok,” I put my hands on Sage’s shoulders and positioned her in the doorway out of sight, “You stay here and I’ll go get him. When I tell you to come in, you can.”
Sage eyes my hands, “I thought you had a thing about touch? And also why can’t I just come in with you now?” I shrug, “1. After what we just did, I’d say we bonded so I feel like our relationship has progressed, and also I’m touching you over your clothes…it’s skin-to-skin that irks me. And 2. Obviously for dramatic effect.”
I excitedly turn around and whip open the front door to the Mikaelson Mansion, catching the last of Sage muttering something about me fitting right in with the Mikaelsons.
“PHINEAS!!!”
“Bloody hell, Little Doll,” A sarcastic British voice has me rolling my eyes, “We’re all immortal here. No need for the yelling.”
I turn and meet Kol’s brown eyes.
“My bad. Wheres Finn?”
“Elskan?”
“Is that Y/n?”
“Luv, miss me already?”
Elijah, Bekah, and Klaus all enter the foyer with combined looks of confusion, whilst Kol is approaching me with an amused look on his face.
“And what’s with the outfit? You have a turtle?”
I shake my head, “No.”
Kol just frowns.
Elijah, still dressed in his suit even though it’s past midnight, hastily approaches me, “Elskan what’s wrong? Are you alright?”
“Chill, Elijah,” I smile at him which seems to make him relax a bit, “I’m good. I fulfilling a duty I have for your brother.”
“For me,” Klaus’ annoying smirk is plastered on his face as his eyes roam my body.
“No,” I glare at him and point to my face, “And my face is up here.”
Klaus smiles but turns his attention back to my face.
“Y/N?”
My attention turns towards the top of the stairs where Finn is now standing and I have the fight the urge to ruin the surprise right now.
“I have something for you Finn,” I bounce on the heels of my toes and he descends the grand staircase.
“For me?”
Finn’s unsure look only makes me more excited as I nod my head hastily.
“You can come out now,” I call behind me and all the Mikaelson instantly tense up, probably thinking it’s a threat.
I don’t even have to look behind me to know Sage has entered the room because I’m looking at the utterly bewildered look on Finn’s face.
“Sage? Is that you?”
Finn takes slow steps closer to Sage and I.
“It’s me, Finn… I’ve missed you so much,” As soon as Sage says that Finn is running to embrace her.
I feel my cheeks start to hurt from smiling so hard as I watch the couple kiss, embrace, and, share quiet words with one another.
“You did this?”
I look away to find Elijah at my side with a soft expression on his face.
I nod and look back at the couple, “At the ball Finn and I talked and I told him I’d help him find Sage. I wasn’t exactly sure how I was going to do it… but she kinda just showed up thankfully. Not that Finn needs to know the last part,” I whisper to Elijah.
Elijah doesn’t respond which makes me turn back to him. Once again he has the earth-shattering look in his eyes that makes my knees feel like they’re going to buckle.
“Why are you looking at me like that,” I mutter as I try to go back to looking at Sage and Finn so I don’t have to look at him.
“Because I love you.”
Oh.
OH.
I whip my head back towards Elijah so fast I think I might’ve pulled something and stare at him wide-eyed.
“Nuh-uh.”
Elijah’s eyebrows furrow but his lip twitches letting me know he’s finding my reaction entertaining, “Nuh uh?”
“Ya, nuh uh?”
“Well, I do.”
“Nope.”
Elijah lets out a soft sigh, “You’ll accept the love I have for you one day…but even if today isn’t that day I want you to know it. That I do.”
I side-eye the man standing next to me bite down hard on my lip and nod.
“Hold up,” Kol’s annoying voice pierces the air breaking everyone from their conversations.
“What now, Kol?”
I would laugh at Klaus’ annoyed tone if it weren’t for the state of shock I’m currently in.
“Why do the two of you smell like gasoline?”
Everyone in the rooms stops, and I watch as they smell the air and then turn to Sage and I. Sage turns to me though with a raised eyebrow.
“Breaking News,” The loud voice of a newscaster comes from the living room beside us, “Mystic Falls historic Wickery Bridge, has been burned down. Police and firefighters are currently at the scene. Was this a natural fire or something more criminal? When we find out you’ll be the first to know. This is Margot Fell reporting live from Channel 9 news.”
I blink and blow out a low breath as I turn back to the Mikaelsons who already have their eyes glued on me.
“Sooo, Sage and I have something to tell you.”

Chris Sturniolo lives by his own rules, refusing to be controlled. Some see him as a rebel, a troublemaker—but is that the full truth? Meanwhile, Y/N is focused on making the most of her last year of high school, determined to have a normal teenage experience. But when their worlds collide, they realize they may have more in common than they ever expected.
WARNINGS: Mentions of death, crying.
A/N: This is like 12 pages long. Enjoy the girthy chapter!
With love and big tits, Rose
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
P9: Get it? Got it? Good.
Stay away. Chris isn’t even my friend, it shouldn’t be so hard to keep myself distant from him. But it’s already proving to be beyond difficult. The second my tired eyes opened and my hand reached to my nightstand, I realized I already fucked up.
My fucking phone is in his room. Of course.
The lotion on my face is less than soothing. My reflection in the mirror makes me feel more tired, the bags beneath my eyes darker than usual. Even though I fell asleep pretty quickly once getting home, I kept waking up throughout the night, stressful dreams I can’t even remember causing my body to toss and turn for hours on end relentlessly.
Being without my phone feels weird, but the anxiety building up in my chest makes my mind search for tasks to procrastinate going over to their house. What if Matt opened the door? Or worse—what if he only saw me in the midst of getting my phone from his brother's room with no explanation?
He’s my friend, I know he’s trying to look out for me. I don’t want him to think I don’t trust him. And I definitely don’t wanna lose a friendship for something I didn’t even know how to describe. It’s not like losing Chris would be losing a friend.
My body jolts, my finger scratching along my cheekbone from a sudden pounding on my bathroom door.
“Move your damn laundry!” Bayeln seethes, a movement on the lower half of the door letting me know he fucking kicked the wooden material. Again.
I don’t get it. He’s always just so angry—but only at me. He never acts like this with my mom. Something changed when we were kids. I remember it started a little before my dad passed away, but no fight between us was memorable enough to be a possibility of his hatred. At least not to this extent.
My nose scrunches as I see a small red line imprinted on my skin. I look like I got scratched by a fucking cat. Great.
The sound of his door clicking makes me sigh in relief as I walk out of my bathroom and towards the laundry room. I pile my clothes into my hamper quickly, scurrying off and catching a couple stray socks as they threaten to fall out of the basket. My back shut my room door behind me. I dump the bin on my bed, the array of clean clothes creating a mountain on my sheets.
I’m so tired. And I want my phone. Usually, I could play music or watch some sort of video.
“What’s the point?” I huff, sliding on my shoes before cracking open my window fully and climbing outside. There’s no reason to put off getting my phone any longer. If anything, it was just making me more anxious. Explaining to my mom why I was leaving sounds stressful. And even though I could lie, I didn’t have the energy for that right now. I just want my phone, folded laundry, and a damn nap.
The sun is too bright. Everything is so vibrant and lively, almost feeling fake as I walk slowly down the sidewalk. My eyes squint towards the ground. I can barely see.
And then I hear it—the familiar trot.
It can’t be him. It can’t. Please for the love of—-
“Need your phone?”
Fuck.
My hand shields the beaming sun rays as I look up, finding Chris with Trevor’s leash in one hand, my phone in the other. I’m not even all the way down my street. The walk was supposed to mentally prepare me to face him. So much for that idea.
“Thanks–”
The creases on my face deepen, my eyes squinting from more than just the intensity of the sun. What the fuck is he doing?
“Uh-uh.” he tuts, pulling my phone to his chest before sliding it into the pocket of his hoodie. Chris walks even closer to me, placing Trevor’s leash in my hand before starting to take more steps in the direction I just came from.
The fuck?
“Chris—what the hell? Are you gonna give me my phone?” I ask, jogging slightly to catch up to him. He shrugs next to me, humming contently as we pass by my house. This was supposed to be a quick trip—get the phone and leave. I can already tell this is gonna take a while.
His strides seem to get slower. I look up, seeing the neighborhood playground buried in trees. Why are we here?
I follow cautiously as he walks on the dirt path that’s slightly overgrown with weeds. The rusted swings creek in the wind, the morning air becoming quieter as we stride away from the streets and neighboring houses.
I hate it here. It showed me things I didn’t wanna see—things I didn’t wanna remember. Coming here as a kid was so pure. And now it was just a reminder—nothing is the same, nothing will ever be the same.
Rusted swings, overgrown vines, chipped paint, and eerily barren. A lot of the neighborhood liked to joke that this place was haunted. And it was. Maybe not by spirits or ghosts, but by me. My hatred was enough to make the place feel different.
“C’mon, Trevor likes to go on the play set.” Chris explains, snatching the leash from my hand. My hands grasp each other in front of my chest. I dig my feet into the patchy grass as I watch him take off Trevor’s leash, the dog immediately trotting over and climbing on the playground stairs. I wince watching him pee through the patterned holes. Ew.
My eyes narrow as Chris gently tugs my sleeve. Turning around, I follow him as he sits on a swing, his head nudging to the one adjacent to him, urging me to sit. Grabbing the metal chain, I clasp my fingers around the cold material, cautiously sitting down. The shriek of rust makes my stomach curl. I let my feet dwindle on the ground, gently starting to push myself around.
Looking over, I see Trevor happily sniffing the entirety of the play area. His nose twitches furiously, his snout digging into corners as he inhales.
“Does he always do this?” I ask, peeking over my shoulder to see Chris slumping, his arms lazily wrapped around the swing chains.
“Pretty much.” he answers. I gaze back towards the dog, my lips curling upward as his paws curiously slap onto the built in X-O wall of rotating blocks.
It’s odd, but it’s adorable.
I hear Chris clear his throat from behind me. My eyes stay trained on the sight of Trevor playing around. “Why did you, uh—why’d you leave last night?”
Oh.
My body turns until I’m facing him. The edge of my nail gets caught in the chain for a brief moment, my finger running over the now rigid edge as my lips smack open and shut.
Chris kicks the soft dirt beneath his swing. “You…I just—-I woke up at like three in the morning, so you must’ve walked home in the middle of the night. And I…I…”
His voice softens into a whisper, his words disappearing as he lets out a heavy breath.
“Matt walked me home.” I say. The words are rushed, but calm. I see his shoulder raise with a deep sigh, falling as he relaxes and looks over at me. “I, um—he told me about his night with Mia.”
“He couldn’t have told you later?” Chris puffs, rolling his eyes as he itches the side of his head.
I shrug. “I guess.”
Silence waves over us. The faint sound of Trevor’s collar jingling making me hyper aware of Chris staring over my shoulder to monitor the dog. Matt’s voice looms over my shoulder, my lips pursing together as I chew into the side of my cheek.
I need to leave. I shouldn’t be here—not with him at least.
My knees flex as I go to stand up. “Can I have my phone? I need to go fold my laundry and—”
“What’d he tell you?” Chris interrogates, his jaw clicking tighter. His eyes avoid mind as I look over at him. I relax back into the swing, my hands clasping around the cold metal as I try to take a deep breath.
“He just—um, he got a really cute picture with Mia—”
“That’s not what I’m asking.” Chris points, his tone falling lower. “What did he tell you? What’d he….what do you know?” he asks.
I stare at the side of his face while swallowing thickly. “Chris, I don’t know if I should—” My lips stutter shut as his eyes dart into mine. His gaze isn’t as cold as it usually is, but something about it makes my lips feel loose, the words spilling out before I can spare a second thought. “He told me about your mom and—and your other brother.” I answer.
Chris narrows his eyes at me, his face relaxing as he inhales sharply. “Okay, but what did he say? I…can you just…tell me?” he asks, his eyes softening as his hand grips tighter onto the swingset.
My pursed lips seem to make him sigh louder. He blinks slowly, his head turning to me but his eyes glued to the ground. “Can—-just—”
I interrupt his struggling words, my hand landing on his. His eyes flicker up to mine, his tongue licking over his lips as he swallows. “I….he told me that I—-like, he doesn’t want me to…um….”
How do I say it nicely?
“He told you to stay away from me, didn’t he?”
Nodding slowly, I watch as Chris runs his hand over his mouth, shaking his head with disapproval. “-course he did.” he huffs.
My feet dig in the ground as I shift uncomfortably. Trevors sniffs are the only sound besides the drifting leaves and branches, the creeks of the rusted metal only a faint suggestion within the chaos of the quiet.
“So?” Chris asks, staring at me with blunt eyes as he raises a brow. So what? As if reading my mind, Chris licks over his lips to speak again, “So are you gonna listen to him?”
The clarification does little to ease the swarming thoughts pulsing through my brain. “Chris—I don’t know. I mean, I trust Matt and he’s your brother. I don’t wanna be in the middle.” I explain, my chest feeling heavier as he licks over the ridges of his teeth.
“He doesn’t get to make decisions for me—or you.”
I shrug, letting out a sound of disbelief. “I’m confused. Chris—we’re not even exactly friends. The only good interactions we’ve had…they’ve always ended poorly—you’re always pushing me away like you don’t even want me around most of the time. Why do you even care?” I push.
“I let you sleep in my bed.” he mentions, grumbling.
My eyes widen, my body tensing as I sit up straighter. “And then you practically tried to kick me out the next day! I—-I don’t know what you want from me, Chris. I really don’t understand you.” I exclaim, my voice getting quieter as I settle back into the swing. My head shifts from side to side as I stare out onto the surrounding trees.
“I was coming to give you back your phone—” The tips of my nails pinch my palm at his words. “Which you still haven’t given me back.” I point out.
Silence waves over us again. Trevor plops on the ground, tired and panting in front of us.
“I just…you’re…” Chris trails off, his words halted by a deep sigh.
“I’m what? Chris, I’m trying to understand, but…you’re not exactly making this easy.” I say, reach my hand out and brush his shoulder. Chris shifts at the touch. I retract my hand into my lap, watching as he stares at the movement before letting his eyes stare into mine.
“You’re the only one who isn’t treating me like I’m…I don’t know—”
“Fragile?” I fill in, watching as he gnaws on his bottom lip, nodding slowly.
“Yeah…fragile.” he repeats, his gaze sinking to Trevor in front of us as if he’s searching for comfort.
Maybe he isn’t so hard to understand. Part of me feels like I’m looking into a mirror, the tired reflection so familiar that it’s confusing. But it’s not confusing. It’s just…sad.
“I get it.” His head turns to me at my statement, his eyebrows shifting together as his lips part slightly. “My dad—-I…when he passed, everything changed. Hell, I fucking changed schools just so my friends would stop asking if I was okay. They all loved him, he—nevermind.”
My gaze shifts up to his face again. “I get it, though. I really do. My mom and brother refused to really mourn him like I did, they sent me to therapists—therapists who kept telling me the same thing. Time heals, let yourself feel sad, but—”
“But it doesn’t bring him back.” Chris says, interrupting me as I feel my lips pull into a tight line. “Yeah.” I agree, kicking the dirt beneath as my feet hover on the ground.
The tension of confusion fades into a calm silence. I haven’t talked about my dad or really thought of him for a while. Reliving happy memories didn’t feel nice. Every good moment felt like a loss. And that feeling is just unbearable to bathe in. The drought of forgetting the happiest moments of my childhood were a lot easier to deal with than drowning in mourning.
“Here’s your phone, you, uh—you can go fold your laundry or whatever you want to do.” he says, holding out the device.
Reaching forward, I clasp the small rectangle and stuff it into the pocket of my zip up. My knees straighten as I stand up. With a small peek over my shoulder, I see him staring at the ground, holding out Trevor’s leash and putting it on the dog as he trots towards him.
Chris stands up, dusting his hands off on his baggy sweats. As his eyes flicker up, his face furrows with confusion. “Aren’t you, uh—gonna—”
“Do you wanna come fold laundry with me?” I blurt, biting my tongue as I see his lips pull into a slight smile.
“Laundry, huh?” he teases.
Oh god. Why did I say that? Is laundry that fucking important to me?
“You know what, you can continue your walk with Trevor and I’lll—” As I start turning around while rambling, I feel his hand grab my own. My entire body stiffens at the touch. His bare skin on mine is warm, enticing. It seems to travel up my arm, leaving a tingle over my shoulders and behind my ears.
His eyes are gleaming directly into mine, whatever words resting on the tip of his tongue resting silent.
And then a sharp bark makes me jump.
My eyes go wide as a muffled yelp leaves my lips. I hear Chris laugh, looking over to see his gaze trained on our tangled hands.
“Oh—sorry.” I heave, snatching my hand away as I realize the sudden scare had left me helpless to realize I fully grabbed his hand, clutching onto it like a scared child. Chris laughs harder at my reaction. He hunches over, grabbing at his hoodie as my cheeks burn with warmth.
“AHAHHAHAHA—-YOU—-” Chris heaves, clutching onto the outside pocket of his hoodie as he struggles to stop laughing.
It’s kind of…cute. Well, not cute. I didn’t find him cute, no. Not at all. It’s just…different.
“Can you shut up?” I mutter, rolling my eyes as I try to keep a straight face. It’s probably because his laugh resembles Matt’s stupid giggles, but it’s so contagious.
“Sorry, sorry—-yeah, let’s—fuck, sorry—-let’s go fold your laundry,” he sighs, placing a hand over his chest as he tries to catch his breath.
___
The mountain of clothes on my bed was intimidating. But, with Chris’s entertaining commentary while sitting on my bay window, it passed by quickly. We had taken Trevor and dropped him off at their house. I didn’t wanna know how my mom would react to a boy in my room—much less a dog too.
“You dropped your…” his eyes flicker down as I shove in a pile of sweatshirts to a shelf in my closet. I huff, pushing the neat pile in further before setting it in place and dusting off my hands. “What?” I ask, looking at him as his finger points towards the floor.
“Oh my—fuckin’ Matt touched it and now it’s cursed—”
“What the fuck—why was Matt touching your bra?” he questions, his eyes burning with emotion as he waves his hand in the air.
Oh.
Oh.
That sounded bad. Very bad.
“No, no—it’s not like that. He was helping me pick an outfit for our date and…I’m gonna shoot myself, oh my god. This doesn’t sound right.” I exclaim, sitting on the edge of my bed and burying my face in my hands.
It wasn’t our date—-it was a double date, but my rambling lips were only making my body cringe more. Silence seems better than the chaos of anxiously and poorly explaining.
I feel the bed sink next to me. A reassuring hand rubs on my upper back, making me freeze as I unshield my face hesitantly.
“You mean your double date.” he says. I nod, letting out a sigh as I sit up straighter, the feeling of his hand resting on my shoulder making my body lean a little bit closer to his. But I don’t mind it. He smells really good. “-and I’m gonna assume it was an accident. Because—well, it’s Matt.” he says, laughing lightly.
The shift in his demeanor allows my body to relax enough to take a deep breath. “True.” I huff, laughing at the memory of Matt freaking out. He’s so stupid—in a good way, but he’s stupid.
Fuck.
The mention of his name makes my mind replay his words. Stay away. I was supposed to be staying away from Chris, but now I’m closer than I’ve ever been before.
My shoulders stiffen as I slowly scoot away from Chris. This is wrong. His hand drops from my shoulder. I hear him let out a huff of confusion, his hands twisting on my sheets as he pinches the fabric.
“This…this isn’t right, Chris. Matt said—-”
“Why is Matt so much more important to you than me? It’s not like you’ve known each other very long, and you sure as hell aren’t dating or anything. So tell me—why do you care so much?” he asks, his eyes burning into the side of my head as I keep my gaze stuck to the floor.
“Chris, I think you should leave.” I whisper, my face scrunching as I feel a sting of pain in my chest. It hurts to push him away. It hurts to feel so lost—like there is no right answer.
“No. Tell me why you wanna listen to him like a fuckin’ dog—”
My head whips over, my eyes narrowing as I watch his lips tighten into a straight line. “He’s my only real friend, Chris. The only real friend I’ve had in years. Would you rather I lose him as a friend and go back to walking home in the middle of the night? You don’t….” I shake my head, my nose scrunching as I watch his jaw tighter. “You don’t get it.” I say, crossing my arms over my chest as he stands up.
“What about us?” Chris questions, staring down at me with disapproval. My eyes float around the room, my lips parted but silent. “Are we not friends now?” he asks.
As I look up towards him, I feel something change. Heat rises through my cheeks, but not with embarrassment. My mind is a mess. I’m so tired. I don’t know what to do.
I don’t even know how to feel.
My lip quivers as I try to keep my eyes on him. Chris drops his hands to his sides, his eyes widening as I feel a tear strike down my cheek, falling down my neck and into the neck of my shirt. It’s an uncomfortable feeling, but my hands refuse to move. My fingers are intertwined tightly, twisting and binding as I try to open my mouth and take a deep breath.
“I—” The words are cut off as I let out a sharp cry. “I don’t know, Chris—-I’m tired and this is—it’s so confusing and I—-”
Taking a step towards me, I feel his arms loop around me. One hugs my shoulders to him, the other cradling the back of my head while my tears sink into his hoodie. I don’t remember the last time I’d been held. And I don’t know if it’s the realization or the nostalgic comfort of his touch, but something seems to shatter as my face floods with more tears.
“Hey, I—I got you, I—come here.” Chris sits on the bed, and hugging me even closer. I feel his cheek rest against the top of my head, his hand gently stroking the back of my head;
“I got you, it’s okay. I just—I…I’m sorry.”

can you do something about sukuna when a curse hits him and he ends up turning into a little baby and the reader will have to take care of her husband and son because they are both identical 😸
Please 😭😭 It’s terrible now that Yuji is the same height as his daddy he couldn’t be more ecstatic about being able to swing on him only to learn Ryomen can very much still use his Domain Expansion 🥹 I don’t know why it got sad out of now where that unwanted child comments been haunting me all week 😭🤍

“Oh Ryomen…” you couldn’t help but stare sympathetically at your husband who was now just over 3 feet drowning in his clothes. Yuji was right there hugging his neck, “We’re the same height daddy now we can play!”
You wanted to tell Yuji not to see how Sukuna was trembling with teary eyes, the anger being too much for his little body. You wanted to coo at him but you felt so bad seeing him so small, finally you turned to your lady in waiting who was bowing on the floor in front of your little boys. “Lord Sukuna forgive I’m so sorry forgive me please I had no intention of doing this forgive me forgive me forgive me I beg for your mercy-“ she was cut off when a gash was sliced across her face, it wasn’t enough to kill her but enough to mark her as incompetent. You had to look away, his little chubby face was tilted back with an aggravated look his eyes were looking down on her. Yuji was still hugging and rubbing his face against his “daddy’s' ' shoulder. You almost thought he deserved a brother.
There you were picking him up to keep him from killing your lady in waiting. You expected him to kick and throw a tantrum instead he turned in your arms burying his face in your shoulder holding on tight to your robes. Yuji was pouting when he handed you his dads oversized robe that you tried to use to cover him up. He laid there sniffling, you could feel the heat of his face and the occasional tear.
“Aww is my little prince crying.” You could help but take his face in your hand and kiss all over his face. He wasn’t like Yuji who would start laughing and perk up, he put his hand on your lips stopping you while staring you down. You stared at each other until your fake bit his chubby fingers and he cracked a small smile. “Cmon Yuji, we need some of your clothes.”
Yuji perked up, taking your hand and looking up at his dad. He wanted to play but he guessed his dad can’t just run around naked. You were doing your best to dress Sukuna but this is how it went.
“Let’s see what we have,” you pulled out white pants and a white shirt, “No.”
“This?” It was a robe Yuji would wear in the summer, “No.”
“What about these?” You pulled out a fancy little set Yuji wore in one of your family portraits, “Nuh uh”
“Oh oh! What about this one daddy!” You watched Yuji jump out of the Chester of clothes, it was a costume he asked you to ask one of your ladies in waiting who was a good seamstress to make. It was Ryomen’s Iconic white robe, blue belt and scarf. It had matching socks also, this is what Sukuna got excited about. He took it from Yuji, not hesitating to strip from his oversized coat and into his new smaller robes. “Perfect.”
You saw him standing on the bed next to Yuji, Yuji looked so excited and you looked away. “I don’t need another, I don't need another, I don't need another.”
“Woman!” You turned back to Sukuna. His small voice was nowhere near as demanding or authoritative. You saw Yuji slide off the bed and run off, “I am hungry.” You cleared your throat, “right, let’s get you something to eat .” You looked around “Yuji baby are hungry?” “Nooo!” His voice was shaky, “‘m looking for something i'll eat later!” You watched as bent over half hanging in the drawer of clothes. “Are you sure?” “Mhmm!” “Alright, we’ll be in the kitchen if you get hungry okay?” He nodded “ookaay mommy” Sukuna slid off the bed and you couldn’t help but take his little hand, you looked at Yuji missing the look of shock on Ryomen’s face. You only looked back when you felt his little hand squeeze yours tighter. Your soft smile when you looked down at him. He wanted to rip his hand away and cross his arms over his chest, he’s not weak and he doesn’t need a hand to hold. He snapped his head away and you felt how his hand was shaky while he held on tight. “What’s wrong Ryomen?” He didn’t look at you, but you could see the red on his face, the little gloss over his eyes, you thought to yourself, ‘he’s probably never held someone’s hand. He was the cursed unwanted wretch of a child..’
You spent the next hour treating him like a complete child, the baby talk, sitting him on the counter and squishing his little cheeks even if he threatened to bite you, you never did. The way you’d hug him and kiss his cheeks and forehead. Letting him eat off the spoon while you cooked, he didn’t give you the cute little reactions Yuji did but his little puffed out cheeks and puts squeezed your heart. There you stood in front of him, he was sitting on the counter with an almost empty bowl. You watched him slurp the last of his noodles and awed at his little smile when he looked up at you. You could help but take his face in your hands and kiss his forehead, “My little baby boy.” He put his bowl down when you hugged him and did his best to hug you, his face on your chest, you let your chin rest on his head. “I love you Ryo.” He didn’t make a sound. You ran your hand up and down his back, “you okay baby?” He just hummed.
“Daddy!” You pulled away and broke into a big smile when you saw Yuji standing in the door. “Awww Yu.” You couldn’t help but coo over him. He was dressed exactly like Ryomen, and even had a poorly drawn mark on his forehead. You sat Yuji down to eat listening to him explain how he looked for the costume because he knew he had more than one and now he and daddy could play the King of Curses game he had just made up. Sukuna was standing by your side pulling on your sleeve while Yuji was stuffing his face quickly. You saw him, you genuinely saw him as a child in that instance. He didn’t have any marks on face or wrists. He looked naked, you had to stifle your laugh when he mumbled something you didn’t catch. “Daddy needs a mark too!” Was all Yuji said pointing at his own forehead. After Yuji finished eating you sat them both in front of your vanity, cleaning off their faces and taking a black pigment to draw the little mark Ryomen usually had on his forehead on both of them. They were almost identical twins except for the fact Yuji’s light brown eyes were innocent compared to Sukuna’s red eyes that now held a look of mischief.
before you knew it they were off. Both of them were running out into the garden racing to see who would get there first. It was a competition of who was better now. Still you trailed behind, calling your ladies in waiting to accompany you.
It was chaos, they tore up flowers, left muddy patches in the grass, their white robes were filthy at the bottoms and the pigments on their foreheads were running from sweating. Sukuna tackled Yuji and they tumbled into the koi pond, they were laughing and soaking wet, slipping while they tried to climb out. It was cute how they crawled out and laid on the grass. Your boys, laughing and kicking their legs, it made you awe. There was no doubt in your mind Ryomen didn’t get to experience this kind of fun from the very very faint and little details he’d given you of his past.
——————
It’s been a week, you woke up this morning sore and tired. Sukuna was half lying into your chest drooling and snoring, Yuji was laying backwards, he was spread out a foot pressed into your cheek the other on the pillow, one of his hands was spread out the other loosely holding Ryomens hand.
You tried to move, Yuji sat up slowly, not moving his foot from your face. You tried to sit up and Ryomen whined shaking his head back and forth protesting your sitting up. Still you held him in your lap as he clung to you with one hand, Yuji tried to wiggle into your lap hugging your other side. “‘’M sleepy” the weight of your mini husband and son drug you back down to the bed. You caved and fell back asleep pulling both of them into your sides.
You woke up screaming, jumping up in panic, running out the room ready to grab your kids just to find them tripping and tying up eunuchs to draw on their faces. They were squatting around a poor eunuch's face. Yuji was covering his smile with his little fists, and Sukuna was on his knees and one hand, the other drawing on his face, his tongue stuck out in concentration. You had to breathe and your lady in waiting ran up to you, “Lady y/n are you alright?! You ran out in just your intimate robes.” You sighed your heart beating in your throat “Yes, I just heard screaming so I was panicked.” It was scary, their heads snapped to look at you like wolves. They heard you and it was over, they were running over to you and you felt intimidated which led to you running back to your room being chased by Ryomen and Yuji.
“No! Stop, stop! No!” Your cries were in vain when they managed to take you down after entering your room. Laid out on the floor Sukuna sat on your butt leaning back into your back like a lounge, you groaned lifting your head to find Yuji squatting in front of you. “Mornin mommy.” You rested your cheek against your folded arms “Good Morning baby.”
——————-
It was another week, you were sitting on a stool in the bathroom robes pushed back, Ryomen was sitting between your legs on a smaller stool while you scrubbed him down. Yuji was splashing in the water, his skin tinted red from being scrubbed down also. Sukuna was angry, pouting with his fists pushed into his knees. “Ryo if you didn’t wanna be scrubbed then you shouldn’t have chased that skunk! Now both of you stink. And look at this!” You ran a hand through his hair little grains of dirt could be felt, “you still have sand in your hair.” He huffed before he crossed his arms over his chest, puffing out his cheeks. “M not stinky woman! It’s called manly musk!” You laughed “Manly musk, the only thing manly about you right now is your name Ryomen.” He yelped when you poured water over him, side eyeing you before you told him to go soak in the fragrant bath. The smell lingered on their clothes. You had them Burned and the handmaid's were quick to make new ones before they finished soaking.
——————
It was the start of the third week, you wanted your oversized husband back. You were tired of waking up to someone in your ribs and a foot in your face. The two had become so similar you ended up saying the wrong name three or four times before you got it right. The robes and painted marks didn’t help either. But here you were reclining on the front steps of the temple watching them one more time. Sukuna felt it before you saw him, Kenjaku was coming.
“What do you want!” He was bratty and snapping at him when he was in sight.
“Oh, I didn’t know the king of curses had another son. An exact replica I would say too.” Kenjaku picked him up by the scruff of his robes, Sukuna was kicking and wiggling before Yuji ran over “Let him go!” And started beating the man’s legs. Kenjaku shook Sukuna, “hey Kid is Ryomen Sukuna home or isn’t he?” “M not answering you.”
Kenjaku’s eye twitched “Why not?” “Because your brain is freaky! Who needs to open their heads, freak!” Yuji screamed, still swinging on Kenjaku’s leg. Kenjaku tried to lightly push Yuji back and that’s when Sukuna smacked his hands together, “DOMAIN EXPANSION”
It was unstable, he was Ryomen Sukuna, but his cursed energy was the same as a child’s.
You heard the chime and drip. Everything in you lit up and you started running, what the hell was happening Yuji, Ryo please please don’t do anything stupid.
“Ah shit-“ Kenjaku was quick to make his disappearance at the scene when he heard your steps.
“Ryomen!” You took a deep breath “Yuji!” You could feel the residuals of another person.
“What happened!?” You were kneeling in front of Sukuna, hands on his shoulders with a panicked look. He was okay, that was until you heard sniffles and crying. You snapped around Yuji was sitting on the floor with a gash across his crying. You let Sukuna go and ran over to Yuji picking him up. “Shh shh shh, it’s okay let me see.” You tried to pull his hands away from his face. There were cuts across his nose and across one of his eyebrows. “come here Yu.” You sat on the ground pulling him into your lap even when he resisted while crying. Placing your hand carefully on his face cupping his cheek you started to use your reverse cursed technique to heal cuts.
You watched as they closed and slowly started to heal over. You didn’t notice how Sukuna looked scared, for once the king of curses looked vulnerable. When you were done with Yuji, what were you going to do to him? Were you going to abuse him the way his parents had? Would you treat him like a wretch, an unwanted curse. Would you scream at him and raise your hand at him? “…Yuji…” his voice was so small when he tried to get closer. You turned to him, you saw those teary eyes and you were confused, when you licites your hand to try and pull him closer he flinched away. “What’s wrong Ryo?” He watched you put your hand down on Yuji who stopped crying. He looked down, shaking his head, before Yuji spoke up “m Okay it wasn’t too bad.”
Both of you saw how Sukuna’s eyes looked up but he wouldn’t lift his face. You nodded with your head, “Come here Ryo.” He slowly walked over hands behind his back before standing next to you still not looking you in the eye. “You okay?” Your hand came up to touch his back and he just stood there, Yuji was still sitting in your lap looking up at his dad. You watched those little tears drip off his chin, before you pulled him down into your side hugging him, “Don’t cry Sukuna, you didn’t do anything wrong. You didn’t mean to hurt Yuji.” Yuji crawled over trying to hug him also, “‘ts okay.”
You did your best to hold both of them, rubbing their heads with your hands as they held onto you. Taking turns in kissing their heads and rubbing their backs. Sukuna still hadn’t said anything, “m sorry.” His voice was shaky and you squeezed him harder, “oh Ryomen.” You sat there holding both of them until One of them fell asleep. Yuji walked beside you while you carried his mini dad, this was the only time you’d ever be able to carry him without his soul crushing weight. Yuji ran off to his room. When you made it inside, you took Sukuna to your shared room, laying him on the bed. Brushing his hair back carefully, you pressed a kiss to his forehead, “I love you Ryo, none of this was your fault, you shouldn’t have to carry burdens that aren’t yours.” Pulling the blanket over him you sat down, you saw his eyes barely open before he fell asleep again.
——————-
“Y/n…” it was the soft call of your name that woke you up.
Yuji was sitting in your lap holding on to you. You back was stiff and your neck popped when you tried to stretch.
“Hm,” you didn’t bother trying to open your eyes. “Woman,” you sat up trying to rub your eyes and not let your sleeping Yuji fall, “Ryomen?” There he was in his full frontal glory that made you do a double take before looking up at him, “Where’s your clothes???”
He ignored your question, taking your face in one of his hands, he leaned in closer and you were going to kiss him until he ghosted your lips and pressed a rare soft kiss to your forehead, “There is no doubt you are a fine mother.”

꩜ author's note ─ first fic ever & ofc it's ft. my man !! i'm not v satisfied with this work and it was really rushed towards the end, so feedback is much appreciated :3 merry xmas to all those celebrating and happy holidays ♡ title's from "a nonsense christmas" by sabrina carpenter :3
when you left home for college, you were certain you’d outrun the real-life horrors of your past— your parents' scoldings, the shitty food served at your school's cafeteria, the fake people you were surrounded by, and most importantly, your brother's best friend, gojo satoru, who just seemed to get finer with every single passing day.
the man was, for some reason, genetically white-haired all over. yeah, he had albinism, but god, the sight of him was no less than breath-taking. his sparkling, cerulean orbs, which glowed mesmerizingly both under the moonlight and the sun, seemed more and more enchanting with each passing moment. as the years went by with him by your brother's side, you told yourself to look away, refusing to acknowledge the feelings that flickered inside whenever you saw him. you did whatever you could to let go of them— tried to distract yourself with the shittiest of boyfriends, avoided him at school, locked yourself up in your room whenever he came over to hang out with your brother, you name it.
however, it seemed that luck hated, no, despised your embrace no matter how much you yearned for it, considering how the menace was always hovering around, inserting himself into your life at the most inconvenient moments. you're rehearsing for a school play in an empty classroom? the next thing you know, he has an arm propped around your shoulder and smiling at you in the most stupidly handsome way ever with a lollipop in his mouth as he asks you to just... practice with him around. oh, you're trying to get him off of you now? he'll steal your script before you can escape him and raise his hand up as high in the air as possible so you can't reach it. "hey, give it back!" you exclaim, only to be met by a smug smirk on his face and the most annoying "nuh-uh." he completely refuses unless you promise to not kick him out until the practice session is over.
you're walking back home with your brother, suguru? oops, gojo is there too! he's ruffling your hair no matter how pissed you get and yell at him; he only finds joy and pleasure in seeing you in this enraged state. whether he was a sadist, masochist, or simply insane, you did not know.
so, starting college felt like stepping into freedom. no more conversations centered around satoru, no more being so pissed you lose your voice from screaming, and no more late-night sob sessions everytime he got a new girlfriend.
however, it seemed that you'd forgotten that the stars didn't quite align for you, and the universe had decided to remind you of that very fact by ensuring that satoru received enough distinctions to be able to transfer universities. oh, and of course, the one he'd chosen just had to be the one you'd decided to spend the next 4 years of your life in. it wasn't until after you’d moved into your dorm and started your classes that you found out.
the first time you saw him around campus, you were freaked the fuck out. nevertheless, you simply assumed he was visiting a friend or relative and dismissed the sight.
however, much to your dismay, you discovered that he was, in fact, a senior at your college—a 2nd year, to be exact. it wouldn't be an understatement to assume you nearly had a heart attack when you found out, considering how this was the same guy who used to have a 2.6 gpa back in high school. when did he even start taking his studies seriously and lock in hard enough to meet the criteria and eligibility for your university, one of the most prestigious in the entire country? instead of rooting for you, fate just had to be your biggest hater.
every single time you saw him around, gojo would come up to you to exchange greetings and obviously, tease you about the most embarrassing things from your past while his obnoxious fangirls stared you the fuck down, wondering why he's so close to you even though you're just a freshman who should have nothing to do with him.
what surprised you more, however, was that you sometimes shared the same sentiment as them because you were definitely never this close with satoru. not in all the years your brother used to hang out with him, or all the times you'd seen each other on family dinners. sure, he'd teased you plenty, but he had no real concern or curiosity towards you. you found him walking you to classes, treating you to coffee and meals, buying you all the snacks you could ever need during exam preparations and so much more that you could never even list down.
and worst of all, the feelings you'd so desperately pushed away in the past had now creeped their way back into your heart and embedded every inch of your soul even deeper.
it struck you then—satoru’s actions might not be out of pure obligation. that would’ve been far too simple, too detached for someone like satoru. maybe, just maybe, there was something more to it, something unspoken lingering beneath it all. you couldn’t say for sure if it was intentional or not, but whatever it was, it felt personal, like you mattered in a way that went beyond the promises he'd made to your elder brother and family.
but still, you couldn’t help but wonder if it was all just in your head. satoru’s actions, the way he treated you—it didn’t necessarily mean what you thought it did. it could be nothing—satoru’s actions didn’t have to mean anything. maybe you were just fooling yourself, letting your feelings cloud your judgment. so, you buried them as deep as you could, pushing them aside, telling yourself that letting go was the only way to protect yourself from the uncertainty. it was easier to convince yourself that you were just being delusional instead of facing what could be very real.
although, you do seriously question your latter supposition at your annual college christmas eve party when satoru, dressed in the sexiest 3-piece navy blue pinstripe suit with a black tie, has you pinned against the door of the nearest bathroom. if haven't had the opportunity to pay enough attention to his luminous, cerulean eyes up until now, you do at this very moment when he's staring at you like a predator would at it's prey.
"satoru," you let out a breath you weren't aware of holding, "what are you doing?" gojo, whose gaze had shifted down to your lips, let out a chuckle. "oh, so it's satoru now," he murmured, his hand pushing your hair behind your ear. "fine, 'toru..," you pronounce, going back to the nickname you'd started calling him during the while you'd spent with him. "that's more like it." his eyes meet yours again, conveying the desire and thirst that stirred within him— for how long, nobody knows.
the air around you two was thicker than usual, laced with tension as well as something… else. "you still haven't answered my question." upon your words, the white-haired man's face broke out into a cupid-induced smile, the most beautiful you'd ever seen. "well," his right thumb traced the outline of your lips so light as if you'd break from further pressure, "i thought you looked beautiful." what he says renders you speechless, your throat gone dry and your cheeks turning the prettiest shade of rose (in his eyes, at least.) "you always do, but even more so today." and if you weren't already a flustered mess, you would most certainly be now.
your reaction only draws a smirk on his face, and he decides to tease you a little more. "so, on that note, what do you think i'm doing?," his voice lowers as his hand traces its way down to your neck. "i... uh- i don't know... you tell me." satoru grins, only wanting to push you further.
"yeah? how about i show you instead?" and a mere instant later, his lips come crashing down on yours— you couldn't say you hadn't been expecting or anticipating it, but absolutely nothing could prepare you for the way his warm and impossibly soft lips felt against yours. initially, you froze, and you came to realise that all the possibilities you'd once ignored were now very much real.
it wasn't a bad thing— no, nowhere near it, maybe even one of the best that could ever happen to you. however, it did feel like too much of a development to be able to process in a matter of seconds.
upon the realisation that you hadn't responded to his advances, satoru pulled back from the kiss, seeming rather puzzled. "was i wrong?" he inquires, voice lower and deeper than it normally would be.
the melodic sound of his voice is what breaks your trance and serves as your call back to reality. you wanted to say no, reach for his collar, get on your tip-toes and lean in to kiss him, but you were stuck in place. you couldn't find your voice or your words, and it felt like your heels were superglued to the tiles of the bathroom floor.
if it hadn't already been obvious, you'd been yearning for this moment for god knows how long, and now that it was handed to you on a sliver platter, you couldn't simply pass up on it. being well aware of the fact that this encounter could change your and satoru's relationship for either the better or the worse, you took a deep breath, cupped the sides of his face, and tilted your head just enough to be able to kiss the man. your hands gripped the fabric of his shirt in an attempt to pull him even closer, if that was possible.
being the way he is, satoru smiled into the kiss and lowered his hands to your hips. he could tell you were pouring each and every emotion from both the past and the present, and of course, he was doing the same.
it was inevitable, really— now that you could feel his skin against yours, it wasn't too difficult to put the pieces together and figure out that this was all bound to happen, already having been inked into the wondrous book of fate.
and so, for the first time in all the years you'd spent alongside satoru, you could say that the universe was, in fact, rooting for you. the way gojo's lips moved against yours, the way he looked at you like you were the only person in the world when he pulled away, the way the both of you heavily panted but still chased each other's warmth again barely seconds later, are more than enough confirmation.
"no, you weren't," you reply, feeling giddier than you ever had. "i wasn't what?" his hands caress your cheek with a carefulness that was almost unlike him, and your heart felt like it was about to beat out of your chest (in the best way possible.) "you weren't wrong."
"and i'm still not wrong if i do this?" his large hand reached under your clothes and wandered up to your waist, resting over the skin of the region. "or this?" his mouth had reached your neck, leaving kisses-turned-bites all over, which were sure to transform into hickeys.
"no... no, you're not," you let out breathlessly, unable to escape the fire coursing through your veins at the slightest touch. you wanted more, so much more, and satoru was the only one who could fulfil your needs— not that you would have it any other way.
"you sure, pretty?" the corner of his mouth went up, resulting in a lopsided grin— he was obviously teasing you, that was just the way he was and always had been.
"uh-huh," you nod to reaffirm your statement. "good girl," he breathes out, only contributing to the echoes in the parts of your body which ached for him so badly.
his long fingers played and toyed with the hem of your dress, as if to test the waters. when you didn't resist, his hand sneaked up your thigh, gently fondling the skin.
despite the confidence in his actions, he observed every expression on your face cautiously, ensuring that nothing he did hurt you or made you uncomfortable in any way. when you show no signs on unease but instead only desire, he goes on to satisfy and soothe your needs.
his fingers traced their way up your inner thighs and lurked over the already soaked fabric of your underwear, bringing about a chuckle from satoru. "so needy for me already, hm?" he remarks, as if his own pants weren't tightening upon the observation.
"shut up, 'toru..." you're trying to regain your composure and keep up an attitude, but to no avail. the fact that he has you exactly where he wants you isn't helping, either. you're even trying to avoid his gaze, but the way you can feel his presence everywhere makes it impossible to do so— besides, he's making you face him again using his index finger and thumb to hold your chin in between, as he whispers out a "look at me, baby."
and when you do, you have to let out a gasp at the sight of him— his disheveled hair which was perfectly tamed at the start of the night, his half-lidded eyes as he looks at you like you're his entire world and his lips that are now slightly bruised and swollen from the kisses you've shared. it was beyond enough to get you all the more hot and bothered.
oh, but that's not the only factor contributing to the sounds you're making— it's also the way he's pulled your panties to the side and is currently tracing your slit ever so slowly. "want more, princess?" nearly mocking tone.
you hardly even manage to let out a hum before his slender fingers are running over the most sensitive bundle of nerves, eliciting a moan from you. your eyes roll all the way back when one of his digits slides inside you just a moment later— you'd never been this sensitive, but it seems that was going to be entirely different with satoru.
he added one after the other, and now, three of his freakishly large fingers were pumping in and out of you relentlessly— he was so good with them, you could practically taste your orgasm about to wash over you.
"'m close, satoru," you whimper out almost pathetically, and his fingers are going even deeper now, hitting the spots you'd never even dreamt of reaching on your own. "yeah? is my princess gonna cum for me?" his voice is rough and he's groaning as if he's the one receiving the pleasure.
you can only nod as your arousal overwhelms you, white ropes of cum spurting out from your throbbing hole with one final thrust of his fingers. his entire hand was covered in your fluids, which he brought up to his mouth to be able to savor the sweetness of your juices on his tongue. god, he was an obsessed freak when it came to you.
"ew, satoru! why would you do that?" you hold back a giggle, expressing faux disgust at his actions. he only kisses you in response instead of using his words, making sure you get to taste what he'd drawn out of you as well.
"you think suguru's gonna be mad?" he asks, obviously amused at the idea of your brother enraged when he finds out what you and satoru have done. "oh yeah, definitely." he sweetly presses yet another kiss to your lips.
"if it's at the expense of me getting everything i wished for, i don't care, babe."

Hi Love, can I request roses 🌹🌹🌹 with the prompt “You don’t have to be so brave when you’re with me.” Jack or Quinn Hughes… your choice because they both give warm comforting vibes. Thank you!
✿ CUPID'S FLORAL SHOP ✿
here's a freshly picked restless rose 🌹 !
warnings: feelings of having to be perfect, being a burden,
word count: 1k
florist cupid: whoops, this like just hit the 1k mark so it's okay, shhh. if you're wondering how i picked, i spun a wheel. that's actually how i make most of my decisions. anyway, thank you for requesting lovely ! also for reference, this is the key holder thingy that i was referencing .
being one of many children in your family, you were used to pushing your emotions off to make sure your siblings got the attention they needed.
it happened through various stages of your life; when you were younger, running home to show your mom you got 100% on your math test just to see her consoling your older brother who just got broken up with, or when you were in middle school and who you thought was your best friend yelled your crush's name in front of the whole cafeteria and came home with fat tears streaking down your face to see everyone praising your older sister for getting into college.
you loved your siblings with every bit of your heart, so much so you were willing to put off your happiness for them, wanting to be brave so they could be vulnerable. and that little habit of yours had wedged itself into your relationship with quinn.
quinn who was attuned to your every move and every feeling, quinn who could make you happy just by brushing his fingers against your cheek, quinn who made you breakfast in the morning before he went off to practice.
he had enough weight on himself as it was, leading the team through an injury, trying to stay positive after loss after loss, and staying up late just to get up early. you didn't need to burden him with your minor worries.
after a long day of being criticized, work piling up higher than your head, and barely having time to eat a decent lunch, you just wanted to go home and curl up in your bed and eat a whole pizza with your cuddly, handsome, boyfriend.
you stopped at the door, said pizza clutched in your hands, purse hanging off your shoulder. your feet ached as you stood but you needed to compose yourself, fix your face so it didn't look like you just spent 8 straight hours in hell.
once you plastered on your more than fake smile and mentally prepared yourself for telling quinn your day was long but nothing you couldn't handle, you opened the door and stepped into your shared apartment.
you kicked your shoes off almost immediately, dropping your bag and your keys onto the counter before delicately placing the pizza next to it.
your eyes scanned your surroundings and frowned when quinn was nowhere to be found.
"quinn?"
there was no reply and you looked over at the small key holder the two of you had purchased when you moved in together, the carl keychain noticeably missing meaning he was out of the house.
looking back at the pizza, you sighed, it didn't even seem appetizing anymore. so you walked to your room, changing out of your work clothes and into a pair of sweatpants and your favorite hoodie of quinn's.
you settled onto the couch, bringing the multiple blankets you had into your lap as you navigated to the disney+ app to watch your favorite movie.
just as you were about to hit play, the door opened and in walked quinn with a pizza in his hands. you gaped at him, watching as he placed his keys back on the wall and kicked his shoes off like you had done earlier.
his eyes met yours and grinned, "hi baby."
you stood up, walking over to him, "hi. you bought a pizza?"
"figured you would want it after work, but-" he looked to the side at the pizza you had already gotten, "it seems like you had the same thought as me."
"great minds think alike i suppose."
"hmm, that they do." he kissed you softly, placing his free hand on your hip, bringing you closer to him.
you opted to wrap your pizza up and put it in the fridge since it was colder than his, letting him bring his to coffee table.
"watching our movie without me?"
"just wanted to watch something." you shrugged it off but quinn could detect the slightest bit of sadness in your tone.
it wasn't like you only watched up when you were sad or missing quinn, but it was weird that you hadn't even told him you were planning on watching it.
when you came back, sitting next to him on the couch, he asked, not wanting to spend another minute seeing you upset, "what's wrong?"
"nothing." the lie fell from your lips with ease causing him to furrow his eyebrows and frown.
"sweetheart, i know when something's wrong." curse him and his stupid all-knowing superpower. "talk to me."
"long day at work."
"and?"
"and that's it. was a long day, lots of work to get done, had to sit through a couple meetings, talked to my boss too, she said-"
you froze as he pulled you onto his lap, looking down at him with wide eyes, "what're you doing?"
"something's going on in that beautiful head of yours and i'm trying to figure it out."
"i'm serious, quinny. i'm fine."
"you're not. please, talk to me, that's what i'm here for."
so you did, you rambled about your frustrating day in extreme detail, finally letting the anger and annoyance out of you. and when you were done, he didn't say a word, just held you close and traced his fingers up and down your back in a soothing matter.
"why didn't you want to tell me?" he asked softly.
you shrugged, "i dunno, just always done that."
"done what?"
"kept things to myself. wanting everyone else to feel how they felt so i stayed to the side, keeping it all in."
"sweetheart... you don't have to be so brave when you're with me. i never want you to have to feel like you're feelings aren't important to me. i just want you to be happy."
you couldn't help the tears that welled in your eyes as he spoke, hanging onto every word he said like an emotional lifeline. he tucked a piece of hair behind your ear, "i want to hear about every part of your day, want to know how you're feeling at every moment, want to see every part of you that makes you you."
you buried your head into his shoulder, too overwhelmed by what he was saying. thankfully, he didn't say anything more, just kept you close, protecting you from anything that could harm you.

Demon Twins AU Prompt
Okay, so reading the dozens of DC X DP prompts and stories on Tumblr incites the juices as it wont to do, and I have an idea! Basically, at the barebones of this idea, is that, unlike the usual demon twins fics, where Dami kills Danny and he ends up in Amity, or the ones where he fakes his death, and all that jazz (heh)-- my idea is that they both... came out wrong. Neither of them are capable of dying. They grow up together, in the league, constantly killing each other. The wounds heal, but the scars remain. There are other abilities, like they're faster, stronger, and they have a quirk (in this case, Danny can still fly, and lets say Dami can disappear, become one with the shadows). They would kill for each other, and won't stand any slight against the other, but they also fucking hate each other and they spend half the time killing the other.
--
Immortal Demon Twins AU part 1
It is a glorious day in Nanda Parbat. It is their birthday, the tenth year of their existence. There will be a celebration, as expected of the grandsons of the Demon's Head, and they will be showered with gifts and given the day off from training and their tutors. However, at the end of the day, there will be a test.
The usual ritual, fighting their mother for the chance to learn about, and eventually someday meet, their father. Bruce Wayne. The Batman. Prince of Gotham, billionaire, vigilante, leader of the Justice League.
Danny doesn't care about the man at all, but Damien wanted to meet him, and as much as he hates his brother, he wasn't going to get in his way. He doesn't participate in the fights, but he watches, and if the boy was too injured after, he'd give the finishing blow. Their wounds healed in death, and it was nothing more than torture to make him heal over a course of months what could heal in hours.
Danny woke his brother up at the sun's rise, leaping onto the bed with a dagger in hand. "Rise and shine, ahki al'asghar~"
Dami's eyes snap open, alert despite the fog still clouding them. He kicks out, shoving his brother off him. "Danny. It's too early."
"Nonsense. It's our birthday. The tenth one. You survived ten years, ahki al'asghar."
Dami scowls. "No thanks to you."
Danny taps the jagged scars on his throat. "A for effort." Danny had given it to the other boy when they were five, not yet fully used to his strength nor the sword in his hands. His brother had bled out, but was alive less than nine hours later. That wasn't the first time he'd died, and it wasn't the last.
Dami laughs, "I got an eye in return, didn't I?" He did. Danny was blind in his right eye, an injury that healed on its own. It's why they'd died so many times. Easier to heal when their hearts had stopped. If they don't, it would lead to things like his eye or Dami's missing pinky finger.
"Whatever. The sun is up, let's go to the baths before they get crowded! Yalla!"
Damien clicks his tongue. "khalas."
Danny grins, teeth a touch too sharp, and physically drags his reluctant, "younger by fifteen seconds!" twin to the bathhouse to wash off before their morning absolutions.
It went by quickly, with only one attempted drowning, and they end up eating a hearty breakfast with all of their favorite foods like Dami's falafel with cream cheese (gross) and his own special meal of chocolate cereal and milk. Dami turned his nose up at the count chocolate cereal and said, "Your teeth are going to rot."
"They regenerate."
Dami sniffs in reply, taking a bigger bite of tomato, chickpeas, and cream cheese.
"You're disgusting." Danny grimaces at the boy, shuffling away from him and his gross food.
He catches the knife thrown at him, scoffing at the tiny blade.
He doesn't know who throws the first punch, but he's missing a tooth at the end (Dami throws it at him and taunts, "regenerate that").
It's only the "Habibi" call of his mother that stalls the two preteens. They pause from their position on the floor, chunks of artificial chocolate cereal and tomato in their hair and on their clothes, Dami's hands grabbing Danny's longer hair while Danny's hands are on his throat.
"Boys." She sighs. "Just because it is your birthday does not mean you can act like ruffians in the kitchen. Go clean up. We have to start the festivities."
Danny groans, leaning up and shoving his brother off him. "I hate them, you know I hate them. Grandfather's friends are so stuffy and boring, and the rest just stand there, like statues."
She raises an eyebrow at him, which causes the older boy (by fifteen seconds!) to whine and groan, before walking out the door, back to the bathhouse. He hears her tell Dami to "behave" and grins.
--
"Are you ready, Habibi?" His mother asks his twin, hours later, at the time of dusk, drawing her sword in the courtyard. Damien's response is to grab his own katana and get into a battle stance, lowering his legs, and raising his sword, pointing it at her.
"I am ready, mother."
Danny watches. Like every year since they were old enough to understand the concept of a father. He doesn't want to meet him, doesn't feel the need to have a father when he had Mother and Dami, as much as the boy annoyed him.
"Don't die." He says, just before he banged the gong.
It's fast, seconds turning into minutes as their swords clash loudly, his mother dodging more than she parried or went on the offense. She was defending more than usual, letting Dami wack and whirl and stab and hit. It confuses him, but he continues to watch.
He won't interfere, regardless of the outcome.
That doesn't lessen his surprise when Dami wins.
No, when their mother lets him win.
She smiles the little smile she gets when she is victorious and says, "You have won, Damien. That means you are worthy of meeting your father."
And-- what?
This doesn't make any sense. Danny knows what these meetings are; false hope for something that was never going to happen. A simple way to keep their youngest in line. It had worked with their oldest, Danishara (he goes by Dan). It had worked with Athanasia, who died trying to meet the man years ago. He doesn't know what happened to her, just that mother put her in the Lazarus Pit, and she never came out.
"You and Danny leave tonight."
What? "But Mother, I don't want to meet him. Let me stay. I don't want to go!"
"You'd leave your brother alone, and defenseless? Think of what happened to your sister. I cannot lose another child, Danyal." Danny cringes. His sister had been alone, on a mission, trying to prove herself, and had drawn too much attention in the process. Enemies of Ra's had caught the thirteen-year-old and killed her. It had been two years since then. Dan still hasn't gotten over it, and nor has Ellisha, another sister of theirs. They don't see them often, Ellie is often in some reach of the world, and rarely comes back to NP, while Dan is running his own underground mercenary group out of Russia. They never see any of their family. Not Dusan, their khaal, or Nyssa, their Khala.
"He can't die."
"We never know what will happen until it happens, Habibi."
He knew it was a lost cause, but still, he tried to argue. "Go with him to Gotham, get him settled, and if you really want to come back, you can."
"Really?"
"I swear it."
And so, Danny agrees, pensive and upset, and follows his brother, whose lips would not stop quirking up, to their room to pack. "I am unsure about this," he tells the other boy when they are alone. "We do not know this man, nor his children--"
"We are the blood children," Damien cuts in. "That is all that matters. He will love us, just like Mother does."
Danny hums in discontention. "I don't think blood matters to him, but he already has other blood children. That woman... Helena is also his blood."
"She is a girl, it's different." Damien says, but Danny can see he too is worried.
"What if he doesn't love us? What if all he sees is... well, us?"
"What's wrong with us?" Damien shoots back, angrily shoving robes into his bag. "We are mighty and strong. We do not die. We excel in everything we are taught."
"We also kill. Maim. Torture. We are... we are not like his other children."
"I thought you didn't care about him-- about having a father."
"I don't," Danny said quickly, reluctantly revealing, "I looked into him, though. I wanted to know if we look like him or Mother. While we resemble him, we take too much from Mother. We don't look like his brood--pale, with blue eyes. Kids he took off the street. We were planned, designed, raised with expectations. Our skin, our features, the green in our eyes is all Mother and Grandfather, and I fear he won't look past that. It doesn't help that Mother's advice is 'take out the competition' like that will endear us to the man."
"...I still want to meet him."
"I know, Ahki. I know."
Danny zipped up his bag. "Maybe when we're there, we can see about seeing Dan or Ellie again."
That cheered up his brother, and it sickened Danny--how nice he was being to the annoyance. Just so he wouldn't forget his place, Danny shoved the boy into a suit of armor, ignoring his outraged scream as the spear stabbed the other boy in the stomach.
"I'll see you on the plane, ahki al'asghar."
--
Danny wakes to drool on arm, the weight of his brother leaning against him, warm and reassuring. His Mother sits across from them.
She is looking out the window, as the sun rises, catching her pale green eyes in its rays. She is beautiful. She is a cold, calculated killer that claims to love Danny and his brother. Loved them even as they tore from her recently revived body in the waters of the Lazarus Pool--much to the glee of their Grandfather.
She is strong.
She is his mother.
She is scheming.
"Why now?"
She looks back at him, eyes soft in a way they almost never are in the treacherous walls of their keep.
"Does he even know we exist?"
Her eyes look down at his brother and then back up to him. "Because I love you."
He blinks. Their family was never one for vocal terms of affection or declarations. Why would she--
Ah. "It's him, isn't it?"
She doesn't ask who he is referring to.
"Athanasia died, Danyal." She glances out the window again. "Danishara and Ellisha... You are so young, Habibi. You are all so young. I had my oldest when I was young."
"That doesn't answer my question."
She huffs a small, amused laugh. She smiles at him in a way she's never before. "You are both so much like your father."
Danny scowls. "Am not."
"It is not a bad thing. You inhabit all of our best qualities. You and your siblings."
"Will he really like us? Accept us? I know what outsiders think of the league, Mother. I am not naive. He- He has children."
"He does." She agrees. "three boys and two girls."
"Why would he want more?"
She mulls over that, and then says, "Do you know why Dan and Ellie never met their father?"
Danny shrugs. "I had ideas."
"When I was young," she starts, "I fell in love with a boy. He was too pretty to be real, and I wanted him to be mine. They were the result." She pauses. "He disappeared shortly after that, and I never saw him again. There is no way for them to meet him and even after searching for the entirety of your Ellie's life, he has no appeared on this Earth. You deserve to know your father."
She stands up. "Let me see how long it will take to land."
She leaves, both of her children mulling over her words in her wake. "We will always have each other," Damien whispers. A sign of weakness that Danny does not exploit. He looks out the window, hand shoved against his brother's. He says nothing when the other boy clasps his fingers with his own.
He does nothing when he continues to hold his hand to the car, and even still, tighter, until they are at the manor of one Bruce Wayne.
It is a waiting game, then. Looking perfect and pristine in the foyer of this grand mansion.
No one is there to greet then when they slip inside. Not until Mother checks her watch, rolls her eyes, and walks back over to the door to trip an alarm. They tumble in like baby chicks, misty-eyed and in uniforms they rushed to put on.
"Beloved." Mother greets the one standing in the middle, wearing all black, ready to defend his gaggle of sidekicks. "I see time has done you wonders."
"Talia," he growls. Danny has never heard anyone talk to his mother with such disrespect. He itches to take out his sword and strike down the slag, but it is only the knowledge that he is their father, and Damien's hand in his that stopped him. "What are you doing here?"
"I've come to give you a gift," she says, smiling despite the coldness in her eyes.
"We don't want it," Robin, Tim Drake-Wayne says, "So you can just leave."
"It is not up to you, little bird." She reponds. "This is between myself, my beloved, and his children."
The boy flinches, its small, but noticable. A weakness.
""He is my child, Talia. So, I'll ask again: what do you want?"
She looks at him for a time, studying his face, before she chuckles. "Very well, beloved. Come here, Habibis."
The bats look confused, until Damien and Danny step away from the wall, seeming to appear out of thin air. The air is tense, and the bats are readying to fight when they stop at their mother's side.
She grabs their shoulders and pushes them forward.
"Beloved, meet our children. This is Damien," she gestures to his brother, "and this is Danny. Say hello boys."
Damien grunts while Danny looks up at the man-- their father. He doesn't look like much, truly. A tired old man, tense, with wide, bright blue eyes.
"Is this a joke? Do you think this is funny, Talia?"
"You can run all the tests you want, Beloved, but they are yours."
Danny looks at the three children behind Batman, older than them. Cassandra, Timothy, and Helena. Three unknowns. Black cat, unknown, and Robin. They don't look like much. They looked like Dan and Ellie could squash them like bugs, easily.
He says as much to Dami, whispering in arabic that they weren't impressive and that he doubted this was really their father, because he was too old and ugly. Dami scowls, whispering back that this was an important moment and that Danny was ruining it. Naturally, Danny snaps back that he didn't even want to come meet this geriatric lame guy who dresses in spandex and his circus, and that he was only here because Mother doubted Dami's strength and skill.
Danny watches the boy's face slowly turn red in amusement. Then, before the bats could blink, there is a blade in Dami's hand and he lunges for his brother. He manages to knick his arm before their mother grabs his ear and twists.
"Ow, ow, ow, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, stop, that hurts--"
"Boys."
Danny looks up from where he was trying to lick the blood off his arm (it was coming out too fast for this to be effective. It looks like Dami hit an artery) and Dami manages to get out of his mother's hold, and hides behind Danny, like that was going to protect him.
"It's like Jason and Tim all over again..."
"What have I said about fighting?"
"But Mother, he--"
"No."
Danny grins at the sight of Dami's pout.
"You have lost the priviledge to come home, Danyal. Don't think I don't know you started it. You must stay however long Damien stays."
Danny jerks at that. "I don't want to stay! You said just until Dami was settled. He is settled, we met the old bat, we have achieved our goal of meeting the sperm donor. I want to go home now." He left all his stuff at home. Like his favorite blanket, and the doll Dami stole for him on their first mission, and all of his suveniors from Ellie, and the guns that Dan gave him--
"Your stuff will arrive within a week," she says knowingly. "Enjoy your stay with your father," is all she says, kissing their heads, a final goodbye, and left.
Danny stares at her retreating figure.
Damien tries to reach for him, but he is too angry. "I do not want to stay," he states.
"I know."
"I do not care for the bat man."
"I know."
"I want to go home."
"I--"
The batman looks at them, slowly peeling his cowl back from his face. They do look like him. Identical in features, the only difference being the coloring. Danny scowls. "I do not want you," he tells the man. "I want Mother. I do not need you."
"...We should treat your arm."
Danny scowls harder, shoving Damien away. The boy rolls his eyes and threatens to finish the job.
Danny would let him.
He does not want to be here.
And he does not know why his mother had forced him to come.
--
Damien doesn't know that normal siblings don't grow their organs back, or maybe he does, and he isn't thinking. Maybe it is just that his first instinct has always been stab first, taunt later.
Tim Drake-Wayne crumbles into a ball on the floor, clutching his side, where blood was quickly pooling out.
Damien grunted in disgust.
What a waste of a good knife. It was still in the other boy, and he had a feeling he wasn't getting it back.
It is deserved, though. No one got away with talking about his mother. Not even Danny.
"What did you do?!" Bruce Wayne yells, anger rolling off him in waves.
It wasn't his voice, but Danny's that rang out in the suddenly silent bat cave in answer. "Pathetic. If he can't even dodge that he really isn't any match for Dan."
"Are we sure this is our family? Can we get a DNA test? I think Mother brought us to the wrong house."
Which was entirely fair, in Damien's mind. He doesn't know that the rest of the world was different than Nanda Parbat. He doesn't know that they were different, that it isn't normal to try to kill your siblings, and succeed, and then have said sibling come back to life.
It isn't normal to be strong and fast and deadly.
He doesn't know that it was normal to fall to a stab wound.
He doesn't know it is normal to yell when angry.
He doesn't know anything past what he has been taught, and what he's been taught showed him that Timothy Drake is weak.
He is pathetic.
He is not worthy of his position as Robin, nor his place in this house.
He says as such.
The look... his father gives him hurt. It scares. It makes him feel inhuman. Like a monster.
He suddenly understands what Danny had meant.
He does not want them.
He does not want him.
Damien too wants to go back to Mother.
He also wants a DNA test done immediately (because parents aren't supposed to look at you that way: like you are scum; horrible, vile, not worth living. He is scared, and his chest hurts, and there is a lump in his throat, and this place is strange--) His hand finds Danny's again, like it had in the plane, and Danny doesn't swat him away when he grips his hand tight.
He's afraid too.
--
So that's part one!
Honestly this whole prompt idea stems from me wanting damien and danny to just constantly kill one another and have the bats go apeshit lol. Thanks for reading!

also [I have no idea how falafel tastes, only that Danny considers falafel and cream cheese to be gross together, and adding tomato to it makes him wonder if he and Damien are related. Google said that its usually like chickpeas, fava beans, herbs, onions, spices, and garlic. I've never had them, and I haven't had them with cream cheese so IDK if they'd be good together, but Danny does not think so lol] :)

Brotherly support... and teasing
Warnings: None
Word count: 850 words (I actually got a little carried away there at the end, and it's actually 891 words, so sorry!)
Requested: Yes
Reader could be Lando's little sister and it's just events where Lando is like playfully threatening Oscar but is like actually very supportive of the relationship and actually shipped it before it even happened. something like that please.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So, when can I have the talk with him?" My dear old brother, Lando Norris, just casually asks me as we sit down to have dinner, wiggling his eyebrows and smirking lightly, "Lando!" I scold him as my head flicks up after placing my napkin on my lap. He just laughs.
This causes me to roll my eyes, used to this behaviour with him ever since his teammate, Oscar Piastri, and I, got together. Both of us honestly, and rightfully so, thought that the older boy was going to be pissed. Oh, how wrong we were.
He seemed, to excited, like he was planning stuff.

lando I swear to you, if you do not stop hugging my sister oscarpiastri, I swear
--- oscarpiastri You swear what mate?
----- lando I swear stuff that you do not need to know of right now. But know that I am watching your every move mate 😁
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hello there, love," I exclaim as I reach Oscar and give him a slight peck on the cheek, avoiding the way my brother is fake puking in front of us, "Not in public you two, you're going to embarrass me," he tells us both in that stern brotherly joking tone that he's loved to use lately as I roll my eyes.
Little did I know though, my Lando had actually been basically praying to the gods above to get me, his sister, and Oscar, his teammate together since almost as soon as the young Aussie joined McLaren in 2023.
Little did I know that was me and Oscar would express our dying love for each other to the English man, and even though he had found it quite cute to begin with, and actually did root for us, he just wanted it to stop.
Well, that didn't go to plan for him as now he gets more rants in, but, he can now tease us more than ever.
For example:
"So, you gonna steal my sister again over to your side of the garage, or am I not gonna have to fight you this time? Reminder, she is my blood," before chuckling to himself, patting the slightly nervous Aussie on the shoulder, and just, casually strutting away.
Another example:
"Might have to kick you out of the house soon if you keep kissing my sister mate," causing me to just swat him away with my hand as I snuggle up against Oscar and mumble, "No." Lando then gives Oscar a glare, but I can tell it's a playful one. I mean, he's not even that scary, to be honest.

"Might have to put a barrier between you both if this keeps going on," Lando speaks, all smug-like whilst leaning against the wall, "Oh, piss off Lando Norizz," I comment back causing him to gasp, hand on his heart in shock, jokingly.
Then, he speaks, "That's it, no more seeing him for the rest of the day! Come on Oscar, let's go talk to our team." And he walks off, making huge gestures, causing Oscar and me to roll our eyes before saying our goodbyes for now, and going our own ways.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You're going to help me plan a date, with your sister?" Oscar comments to the British man in front of him, arms crossed, "Yes!" Lando responds, all jittery, "And you're not gonna kill me?" The Aussie questions, eyebrow raised.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no! That, I'm going to do later! If you ever break her heart that is! Now, let me tell you everything about her-" Oscar cuts him off, "I practically know everything there is to know about her mate-" He then gets equally cut off, "No you don't! Not when I'm around! And besides, if you cut me off again, I'm not even going to allow this date to happen!" Lando explains, causing Oscar to just nod, uncertain.
"Alright, so, what do I need to do?" The Aussie asks, "Glad you asked!" Lando responds, all hyper fixated on making this his sister's best date yet!

Note from author: I just wanted to quickly add that I just figured out how to put photos all grouped together! By accident! So now it doesn't look so clunky and I can add more to chapters and requests! Yay! Also, hopefully, this was good! Haven't written in a little, and haven't ever written a playfully threatening piece before, just so y'all know! Also, this will (hopefully) be my last author's note!

“I WALK THE LINE” JAVIER GARCIA X TOUGH FEM!READER

SUMMARY : You are the leader of The New Frontier and you’ve won the heart of both brothers but you’re only interested in the baseball player.
ADDITIONAL : So that there is no confusion, this takes place after the events of killing Joan only that then you became leader. Also Clem never got kicked out and lives with you and AJ. Mariana never died. And there’s just things that are tweaked in the story but will make sense as you read.
WARNINGS : Cursing, suggestive content, talks about religion, and maybe more
There was something about you that made you so intriguing yet utterly horrifying to Javi. Maybe it was because you acted somewhat like his brother and were in a solider mindset. Or maybe it was the way you spoke about death like you weren’t afraid of it. Maybe it was because you were so beautiful yet so deadly. Or maybe it was just you period.
Javi had met you when he came into the New Frontier seeing as you were the leader and David was your second in command. His first impression? You were hard to impress. You didn’t care about anything really other than the mission at hand but Javi saw more through you.
You caught on to the fact that Kate had feelings for him and would relentlessly joke about it to Javi which irritated him to no end. He didn’t have feelings for her. He never did. Not for his brother’s wife.
He saw how history may soon repeat because even though you were not with David romantically, it was clear he wanted to be with you romantically. Though, he would never admit it. David took pride in his reputation and him falling for you didn’t look good considering he technically already had a wife.
Javi was after all, a man at the end of the day and could tell by just looking at the two of you. The longing looks David had for you. How he would at least try to control his temper around you. How you were the only one to keep him in check.
And Javi hated it.
He just couldn’t tell if you felt the same way back and until he did so, he would keep hitting on you. Even in front of his brother.
Javi played with the ring on his finger that belonged to his father while watching you. You were looking over some papers to see about your supply chain in the doctors office alone. Javi took it as his chance to stroll over to you.
He watched you look up from your papers and down. “What do you want twenty five?”
Twenty five was the nickname that was quickly given to him while you discovered of his baseball history. He didn’t mind it though. He thought it was cute. And he thought more that you liked him. At least a little.
“I can’t come in a check on you?” Javi asked fake offended.
“I don’t need you to do that. I already have David breathing down my neck.” Javi watched as you winced and held your stomach.
You gotten a pretty bad gash on your stomach from Badger and it wasn’t looking so good. Usually David was tough around everyone but the wound was so bad that he was starting to worry.
And if David of all people was worrying than it had to be that bad.
Javi took the papers out your hand and made you sit on top of the desk. “Hey, sit down.”
You sighed in annoyance. “Not you too.”
“Hey, if the big bad wolf is worried…then it’s gotta be bad.” Javi noticed your eye roll and chuckled.
You leaned back a little. “I don’t know what’s gotten into him. He’s been acting weird. I can’t put my finger on it.”
Of course, Javi knew exactly what was wrong. The problem was David wanted you but he didn’t want you. He wanted you in the best possible ways but he didn’t want the baggage that would come with that.
Lucky for Javi, he didn’t mind baggage. “David isn’t used to caring about something.” Javi put it into simple terms. “Just give him a second.”
“You’re too nice to him. Because the way he treats you…if I had a sister and she did me the way he did you…she wouldn’t be breathing.”
Javi laughed. “Well…Clementine’s kinda like your sister isn’t she?”
“Well yeah. But she doesn’t tell me how much of a failure I am every second.”
That was true. For Javi, it was hard dealing with David but he had gotten so used to it that it didn’t even affect him anymore. “It’s like wired in my brain. I know he loves me he just…has a funny way of showing it.”
“Yeah. You’re telling me.”
Javi noticed that you clutched your stomach in pain again. “Let me see.”
You gave him a look. “Is this your excuse of trying to see me shirtless.”
“I would’ve came up with something better if that’s the case.”
The statement made you laugh a little and you lifted your shirt for Javi to see the scar.
It was bad. A stab to the right and it would’ve been over for you. The stitches were nicely done. “Who did these?”
“Clementine…still don’t know how she knows how to do that.”
Javi nodded in agreement. “That’s one tough kid.” His hand gently went to caress the scar. He was so glad that badger was dead.
You watched as Javi’s expression went from worry to anger. A similar expression you had seen on David. You took Javi’s hand and held it. “I’m fine. Relax. It could’ve been worse.”
“Yeah. That’s the problem. It could’ve went worse.”
“Luckily you shot him in the head huh?”
“I wish I could do it twice.”
It was moments like these you saw the similarities to Javi and David and you couldn’t help but laugh because it was something you expected from David but not Javi.
You got off from the desk and Javi helped you off. You were about to fall but Javi quickly caught you and held you close. “Careful.” He told you. “That supply chain isn’t going anywhere.”
“You know if I don’t do it, David is definitely not doing it.”
Javi chuckled and helped you stand to your feet. “That’s one thing about him. All about the action. Hates the paperwork.”
“You know what else David is gonna hate?”
Javi looked at you curiously. “What?”
You covered your mouth as sort of a playful whisper. “You banging his wife.”
Again with the joke, Javi watched you laugh as he groaned out of annoyance. You walked out the room and Javi followed in pursuit. “How many times do I have to tell you, nothing is going on between me and her.”
“Well obviously she wants you.”
“I don’t want her.”
You playfully gasped in shock to him and stopped walking making him stop. “You don’t want thee Kate Garcia?” Javi rolled his eyes. “What will the world do if they didn’t have twenty five in their life?”
You went back to walking and Javi followed in pursuit. “Hey, I had a lot of women wanting twenty five in their life thank you very much.”
“Oh yeah? Were they all offered to hitch a ride to the psych ward afterwards?”
“Oh very funny.”
“I know. I’m a true comedian really.”
Javi had never seen you this way around anyone really. You were always so cold. So negative but with him you weren’t like that.
That made him believe you two had something.
Javi walked right in front of you to stop you in your tracks. “Busy tonight?”
“Actually, I was totally looking forward to my nail and hair appointment.” You said sarcastically. “Ooh! Or maybe go sight seeing with walkers!”
“Taking that as a no…” He trailed off before speaking again. “I need help with the count on food for next week.”
“Oh and you’re just so helpless that you need me?”
“Exactly.”
You rolled your eyes playfully before nodding. “Sure. I guess.”
You went to take another step but the sudden pain pinched at your gut and you clutched your stomach. Javi immediately held you by the waist and brought you closer. “You okay?”
“Yeah. I’m fine.”
Javi knew you weren’t fond of touch but you never seemed to mind when he held you.
The two of you heard footsteps coming from down the hall. Javi was about to remove his hands from your waist but you placed your hands on top of his, keeping them firm in place.
The person stopped in their tracks and you two recognized it was David.
He gave the two of you a look of disgust before looking at his brother in anger. “What the hell is going on?”
“Nothing.” You stated calmly. “Just slight pain.”
David immediately walked over to you and grabbed the papers in your hand. He looked at them before getting annoyed. “I told you I would do this.”
“You’re not going to do it the correct way.” You told him.
“Yes I will.” He looked over at Javi. “What are you doing here?”
Javi, knowing the reason why David was being like this, rolled his eyes at him. “Just helping, (Y/N). Relax.”
“Don’t tell me to relax.” When David said that, you gave him a good hard smack on his chest.
“Shut up, you idiot. You’re so annoying sometimes.”
Javi watched as David took a deep breath in and out. He noticed his brother was trying to control his temper and it was working. Once again, he controlled his anger for you.
“Look, come on. I’ll help you.” He practically pushed Javi off of you and held onto your waist as you started walking away.
“You’re being ridiculous.” You grumbled.
“I’m not being ridiculous. You are.”
Javi sighed slightly watching him walk away with you but he wasn’t worried. Not even in the slightest.
When Javi turned around, he jumped back a little. He wasn’t expecting for Clementine to be there. “Ay’ dios mio, do you always sneak up behind people?”
“I wasn’t sneaking.” Clementine defended. “I was going to talk to (Y/N) but I see your brother already hauled her off somewhere.”
“Yeah.” Javi crossed his arms. “He hasn’t let her breathe ever since…”
Clementine nodded. “I think it’s because he’s mad.”
“Mad?” Javi questioned. “Why would he be mad?”
“Mad at you.”
“Me? What did I do?…This time?”
Clementine smiled slightly before shaking her head. “You saved her. I think David wanted to be the one that was there.”
It made sense in some way but Javi still couldn’t understand. You were safe now. Why did it matter? “But she’s alive? Shouldn’t that be all that matters?”
“Not if it’s you involved.” Clementine walked over to the window and Javi followed her. There, they watched as David sat you down in a chair. “I’m not blind. I know he likes her. And I know you like her too.”
Javi wasn’t going to deny it. Especially because Clementine was already a smart kid. “You think it’s not worth it?”
“I think if you love someone, anything is worth it.” She said. “But is it worth losing your brother?”
David already lost Kate because of Javi. Was it fair he’d lose you to? Because of him?
This wasn’t fair. He didn’t ask to have feelings for you. They were just there. And he definitely didn’t ask for Kate to have feelings for him which David didn’t even know that he was the real reason they weren’t together anymore.
But you were worth everything.
When the stars shined in the sky, Javi put on his jersey and opened the door to walk out of his room. What he didn’t expect was to see Kate standing right there. “Oh…hey, Kate.”
Ever since Kate confessed her feelings for Javi and he rejected her, Javi felt it was best to keep his distance. If she was any other woman than it wouldn’t have been a problem. But she wasn’t just any woman. She was his brother’s wife.
“I was going to knock…where are you going?”
He really didn’t feel like getting into an argument with her as you and Kate did not get along but he also wasn’t one to lie. “Going to count the food supply with (Y/N).”
Kate scoffed. “She can’t do it herself?”
Javi suppressed an eye roll. He stepped out the room making her take a step back and closed the door before walking. “You know it’s my job right?”
“That doesn’t mean she needs to be with you. God it’s like ever since she got hurt you and David…”
“Hey I’ve been letting her do her own thing. David is the one that’s not letting her breathe.”
“It’s like he likes her or something…”
Javi caught the attitude in her voice. He wasn’t fond of David liking you either. Well that was because of his own feelings but why did Kate have a problem with it. “Does it matter? You broke up with him.”
He watched as Kate’s head went down in shame and she sighed. “Yeah. Look how that turned out.”
That made Javi stop in his tracks. He turned around and faced Kate, also making her stop. “Listen, I’m sorry how things turned out and I don’t mean to sound harsh but you got to let it go.”
“Let it go? You’re telling me to let my feelings go?”
“Yes. It’s wrong and I don’t want to be any part of it when David finds out the real reason you broke it off with him.”
Kate grabbed Javi’s hands and brought them to her. “So you’re saying if David wasn’t your brother you would be with me?”
Javi shook his head and took his hands back from her. “No Kate. Brother or not, I don’t feel anything for you. I care about you but I don’t love you. I’m sorry.”
Before Kate could get out a response, Javi’s radio started to sound like static. And then he heard your voice over it. “Twenty five. You ready?”
Javi grabbed his radio and pressed the button to speak. “Yeah. Where you want me to meet you at?”
“Just meet me at the warehouse. Also I like roses.”
Javi smiled knowing you were half joking. “Copy that.” He placed the radio on his belt and when he looked up, he saw Kate had an angry expression. “What?”
“You’re in love with her? Are you serious?”
“Kate…” Javi sighed out. “I’m not having this discussion with you.”
When Kate looked into his eyes all she saw was someone that didn’t care about her. “Unbelievable…” She mumbled before turning around and walking away.
“It’s like I’m in high school all over again.” Javi said to himself.
It didn’t matter if you were half joking, Javi still picked you out the prettiest rose from the garden you all were growing.
You were in the warehouse already counting the food while sitting on the ground. You had the burden of being leader ever since they took down Joan and the others which meant the responsibility of everyone fell on you.
Javi could tell you were stressed but you were good at not showing it. That’s what he loved about you. About how big your heart was despite you trying to act otherwise.
He walked over towards you and held out the rose. “This wasn’t my ideal date.”
You looked up and were surprised that he had gotten you a rose. You took it before looking up at him. “What was then?”
“You know…” Javi sat in front of you and grabbed one of the clipboards. “Dinner and a night out. Not being inside counting our dinner.”
You chuckled a little before resuming your count. “You know I don’t really miss how the world used to be.”
Javi raised a brow at this. “Why? What could be worse than people trying to eat you?”
“At least they can’t control them being monsters. But us…we can control that.”
Javi got what you were hinting towards. “Yeah, that’s true.”
You hit your pen on your clipboard, deep in thought. “Do you believe in God, Javi?”
“Yes…but I can see why someone wouldn’t.”
You nodded at his opinion. “I never did. Everyone always told me that God was always watching me…then why did he watch me as my father beat me? Or when my mother lit her cigarette on me? Or when my Uncle John forced me to drink liquor? Or when my cousin Rob killed my cat? Why did he always just watch and never do anything?”
“It doesn’t matter if I’m in my old life or this life…either way…it sucks both ways. Mind as well take the one that sucks less.”
Javi wasn’t surprised to hear what happened in your life only because it explained why you were the tough woman you are now.
He knew what you felt about sympathy and he knew you despised grievance so he took another approach. “Maybe God wanted you to suffer.”
At that, you looked at him, extremely confused but laughing. “What?”
Javi laughed with you. “Yeah, maybe he picked you because he specifically hated you and wanted you to suffer the most.”
You laughed hysterically and hit him with your clipboard. “Shut up.”
“I’m serious. He’s probably looking down right now and thinking, ‘damn I probably didn’t do enough.”
“You’re so stupid.” You said with a laugh.
Getting you to smile was one of the best things Javi could accomplish. You smiled like you were the happiest person in the world.
“I wish David could be like this. He’s too serious.”
When you said that, Javi decided to rip the bandaid off. “That’s because he’s in love with you.”
When he had said that, you looked up to him completely shocked. “What? No he isn’t…”
Javi nodded to confirm. “Yeah, he is. Come on, (Y/N). You’re the only person besides his kids that he checks up on constantly. Always worrying. The overbearing protectiveness. I mean he obviously has some feelings for you.”
You never really thought about it but now that you were, it was strange the way David would act around you. So strange it could come off as he had feelings for you.
You groaned and rubbed your temples in annoyance. “Oh no…”
Javi laughed as he had not expected that reaction. “What? You don’t like my brother?”
“Please. David is not anywhere near my type.”
“So what is your type?”
You saw how eager Javi was to know which made you thump his head with your thumb. “Not you.”
Though you were lying. Although Javi maybe wasn’t your ideal type, you sure wouldn’t complain if you had rode into the sunset with him. He was smart, handsome, emotionally intelligent while also having a sense of humor.
Javi looked back to his clipboard. “How do you want me to do the rations this week.”
“I say we stop doing those. They already get 3 meals a day without labor. A lot of them aren’t seeing the use of even working. If they want any extra food, they have to work harder. We’re giving out food and wasting it when we really don’t have to.”
Javi nodded. “That makes sense…how do you think David will feel about it though?”
“Not great when he finds out the rules also apply to his kids.” You say. “Look I love Mariana and Gabe but they’re old enough not to get any special treatment. The only one that is getting any special treatment is AJ and that’s only because he’s still a toddler.”
“Hey, I got your back if he says anything.”
“He shouldn’t. It was his stupid idea for me to be leader anyway.”
Javi hated when you spoke badly about yourself. After all the hard things you had to do, you didn’t deserve that. He gently grabbed your hand which made you look at him. “It wasn’t stupid. You’re a great leader. You’re the only one willing to make the hard calls.”
You sighed a little. “That’s what I hate about this. Help me up.”
Javi stood up on his feet first. Then he helped you slowly get up. You were groaning in pain. “I can get a wheelchair from the hospital you know?”
You hit his shoulder lightly. “Stop talking stupid.”
You tried to walk but the minute you did, your legs gave out from the pain. Luckily Javi was fast and caught you before you fell. “You are so stubborn.” He said to you.
He handed you his clipboard. You looked at him confused but took it. He then picked you up bridal style.
“Javi!” You gasped out in shock.
“Which way?” Javi asked, ignoring your shout.
You shook your head before pointing. “To the left…by the way you’re aren’t cool for doing this.”
“I think I’m very cool.”
The next day, Javi made sure to prepare himself. He was going to confess his feelings for you. He honestly didn’t think it would go bad. Whether you accepted him or rejected him, he wasn’t like Kate or David. If all he could do was be your friend then he would be just that.
It was early in the morning. Breakfast time which meant the community was in the dining hall eating.
He knew that usually at this time you were in your office by yourself so he made his way towards the room.
The door was wide open and there he saw David. It appeared to be that the two of you were arguing.
“My kids need food, (Y/N) and are used to eating the rations. Making the rule apply to them won’t help anything.”
“I hate to break it to you David, but they are not kids anymore. Far from it. If the people figure out you and your family get special treatment then I’m the one that gets all the angry people in this group at me. Not you, me.”
“This is stupid!”
Javi decided to make himself known. He walked into the office while looking at his brother. “David, Mariana and Gabe are both capable of going without the rations. They gotta work for it like everyone else.“
David turned to his brother in pure anger. He shoved Javi in the chest. “Stay out of it.”
You pushed yourself in between the two and faced David. “You just don’t want him in it because he’s the only one on my side.”
“I don’t want him involved because last time I checked, I was your second in command - not him. What the hell do you care for anyway? He’s pretty much useless.”
Javi wasn’t fazed at all by David’s comment as he was used to his behavior. You didn’t like it. Not at all. Javi saw your expression turn sad. You took a couple steps back from David. “Then maybe you shouldn’t be second in command anymore should you?”
David’s eyes widened at this. “Wait no. Come on, (Y/N). You don’t mean that.”
“Everywhere I go, you’re breathing over my shoulder and you’re suffocating me. And then the way you treat your brother just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.”
“I don’t treat him like anything! I-“
David went to grab your hands but you quickly pushed them away and continued your rant. “And then you’re always mad all the time. Mad at me.”
“I’m mad at you because I love you.”
Silence. Neither Javi nor you were expecting that. You didn’t even think David himself was expecting himself to say that. Javi was just thinking if he should just walk out the the room slowly and leave the two of your alone at this point.
“I don’t love you.”
Javi saw the expression on David’s face. It was hurt. A hurt he had never seen on his face. The type of hurt that was heart breaking. If David was capable of tears, Javi bet that David would be crying by now.
David held his head down as he walked out the office. You waited until he was completely gone before shutting the office door.
“That was…rough…” Javi said breaking the silence.
You sighed, rubbing your head. You felt a headache come in quick. “I can’t keep doing this with him. Walking on eggshells at every turn. I mean I know I’m not the best with emotions but at least I don’t spaze out on people every five minutes. It’s just…too much.”
It was pretty hard having a brother like David but Javi always made sure to not give into the hate and always have hope for him. “His brain isn’t wired how ours is. It’s like…you’re driving at 30 miles per hour. All the time. You’re safe and cautious of your surroundings. With him? He’s driving at 90. Full foot on the gas and not even bothering to hit the break…until he’s about to crash…and then it’s too late.”
You looked at Javi curiously. “Why do you do that? Your brother treats you like shit every single day and you defend him without blinking an eye.”
Javi walked over towards you before leaning on your desk right next to you. “Because…it’s just not worth it. Him being mad at me…me being mad at him…it’s a never ending cycle and I don’t want to partake in any of that.”
You nodded at him before sitting on top of your desk. “I don’t ever miss the old world exactly. I just missed what we could do in it….like eat a pizza, or go laser tagging, or watch tv…or get married…”
When you mentioned the last part, Javi turned to look at you interested. “Married? You wanted that?”
“I know it sounds corny but…I wanted a marriage and a kid…I wanted to have a family because well…I didn’t quite get that during my childhood.”
It made Javi a little upset that all the things you wished for, you couldn’t have because of the apocalypse. But then again, he was sort of glad this all happened because he probably wouldn’t have met you.
Javi looked at the ring on his finger before taking it off. He stood directly in front of you, grabbing your left hand. “I always thought that the marriage thing was for my brother.” You watched as he carefully slid the ring on your ring finger. “But I guess when you really love someone, the idea to you isn’t so crazy.”
You caught on to his confession and you were surprised. Javi chuckled at your surprise but didn’t take it as rejection. “Oh come on, mi amor. You had to of known I at least liked you a little.”
He didn’t wait for your response. He leaned down and kissed you. When Javi kissed you, you felt safe. Like it was home.
You brought your hand to cup the back of his neck. He kissed you lovingly. Like he had loved you for a century.
His lips were like cotton candy. Soft and delicious. His hands were rough but felt so good going along your thigh.
Javi moaned in your mouth when you gripped his hair. He felt your other hand reach the belt of his pants and when he felt that you were about to undo it, he stopped.
He placed his hand over yours while resting his forehead on yours. “You still haven’t healed yet.” He said, reminding you of your wound on your stomach.
You giggled. “What? Are you trying to say that thing can hurt me?”
“Maybe…” Javi gave you a sweet kiss on the lips before sighing. “David is going to be so pissed at me.”
You made Javi look you in the eye. “Stop worrying about what he wants. Worry about what you want.”
Javi always put everything he’d ever wanted to the side because of his brother’s jealousy and insecurities. He was done doing that. He didn’t want to keep living the life of pleasing him.
He just wanted you.
“How do we tell him?”
You shrugged. “It’s not ours to tell. You don’t owe him anything, Javi.”
Javi felt you press your lips onto his and suddenly he was back to his safe home.
The only thing was that the blinds to the window was opened and someone saw the two of you.
It took a lot for David to be heartbroken. He was a strong man. Not just physically but emotionally. He barely felt sadness. Just anger but he was tired of feeling it.
He should’ve known you didn’t feel the same way. Why would you? He was the guy always mad at the world. Who would want to be with someone like that? It was the reason Kate left.
First his first wife, then Kate, and now you.
He couldn’t catch a break.
David couldn’t sleep as the guilt was surfacing. Everyone he did or has ever done just wasn’t washing away. Not this time.
He was sitting at the kitchen table, just staring off with his thoughts.
That was until there was a knock on the door.
David peaked up from his seat. It had to of been ten at night. Who would come to him at the ungodly hour? Maybe you?
He stood before walking over to the door. He opened it and there he saw Kate. Someone he hadn’t expected.
“Kate…are you okay? Why are you here so late?”
Kate looked the same. Heartbroken as well but he couldn’t really put a finger on why she was. She didn’t give him another word before pushing herself inside his house.
“Okay…” David closed the door to his house and looked back at Kate who had her back turned to him. “You wanna tell me what’s going on?”
He heard her breathe in and out like she was trying not to cry. “I need to tell you the truth. The reason why I actually broke things off.”
“The truth?” David was confused. Was what she told him before not the truth? “Why are you just now telling me?”
“Because you need to know. You deserve it.”
There was something about her voice that made it seem like she was more so doing it for her and not him but regardless it was late at night and he couldn’t care less. “Kate it’s done and over with. Whatever it was…I don’t even care anymore.”
“It’s Javi.”
It was like she knew that would spark his attention. His eyes widened and he took steps towards her. “What do you mean by that?”
Kate sighed and turned to face him. “When me and him were on the road with the kids for so long…I really saw a different side to him. Not the same one obsessed with gambling and laying on your couch hoping for the next bag of money to roll in. I saw someone who was brave, and protective, and over all one of the best people I’ve ever met. I fell in love with him.”
David bit his lip. The same way he tried to control his temper with you, he was trying to control it now. “What? My brother? Are you serious Kate?!”
“I know…I know…it doesn’t matter because he doesn’t feel the same way. It’s just…I thought you should know.”
David cared but only a little. He wasn’t in love with Kate anymore. There wasn’t really anything for him to be mad at. “I can’t believe this..”
Kate looked into his eyes before stepping forward. “There’s something else…I know you care about, (Y/N).” Before David could get in a word, Kate held her hand up. “Let me finish. I know you do…but there’s something you should know so you don’t get caught off guard…I saw her and Javi kissing. I think they’re together now.”
David stood there, completely in shock. He would have never imagined it’d be you. That you’d fall for a guy like Javi. A guy that was his brother.
He couldn’t imagine Javi even having any feelings for you. He was just in shock.
Kate knew him too well and knew what was coming next. “I just thought you should know…” She opened the door to the house before leaving, closing it behind her.
It was at that point David grabbed a vase and smashed it into the wall.
There was no controlling his temper anymore. Not even you.

💛 Chapter 1 💛 Chapter 3
Chapter 2 - Somebody call a doctor?
"Could you be my doctor?" Jess snickers over the phone. She called you as soon as she got home. "Really Y/n?" She cackled even harder. "Girl, you want Dr Grumpy to be more than your personal doctor." Pausing for dramatic effect and adding, "You want his daily dose of vitamin D sooo bad."
You knew she had that smug assed grin on her face as you rubbed your forehead. You knew she was right which made you even more flustered and embarrassed. "I know, I know, Jess." You groaned, "I wasn't thinking and it slipped out."
"You are way too cute for your own good." She commented. "You do know that right?"
"So I've been told." You muttered, laying down on your bed and hugging your snow leopard Build-a-Bear. It was an impulse buy you bought yourself for Christmas. It reminded you of Law every time you saw it and held it, wishing it was him.
"Do you need me to go with you to get your first ultrasound?" Jess asked, pulling out her pajamas from her closet
"Nah, be fine." You replied. "Plus Law will be with me."
"Let me know," Jess pressed. "Max considers you family." Max was Jess' big brother and owner of the coffee shop. The pair of siblings thought of you as their own baby sister, even if Jess was a year younger than you.
"Yeah, I know." You smile, "Thanks." You roll onto your side, facing the door.
You hear the tiny pitter patter of tiny feet running through the house and jingle coming towards you as Onigiri comes rushing into your room like a tiny rocket.
You laugh. "Somebody's missed me." You pat the spot beside your bed. "Hey baby, c'mere."
Onigiri. The tiny puppy with pure white fur and a huge black shaped triangle on his head, reminding you of rice balls.
And somehow of Law.
He runs around in a circle and jumps into your bed, barking and nuzzles into your side. Panting as his tail wags.
"I missed you too, my little cutie." You coo gently, petting him as he crawls underneath your blanket and cuddles against your belly.
Well, guess that explains why Onigiri seems glued to your side lately. Animals have a sixth sense of these things or so you've heard.
"Awe, lemme see, lemme see." Jess gushes into your ear, using her baby voice.
"Hold on, hold on." You turn on the camera to face yourself and angle your phone down so Jess can see the picture perfect sight. "There. Can you see him?"
Jess squealed, taking screenshots. "Looks like Dr Love's got some real competition for your love Y/n." She teases, grinning wide. "Onigiri and your mini me. Talk about a handful." Tilting her head, "Hope Doc isn't the jealous type."
"Why do you like to tease the poor man so much?" You ask, laying back down and petting Onigiri. "Are you sure you don't have a bully crush on Law?" You knew she didn't but you had to tease her back, biting your lip to stay composed.
It didn't work, you snorted as Jess grew defensive. Gawking at you and grimacing as if you just drop kicked her grandmother.
"What?! Hell no. Mister tall dark and emo drug lord ain't my type." Jess makes fake gagging noises, which causes you to giggle louder. "Besides, I like'em big and dumb."
"Bepo isn't Law's second in command for nothing you know." You pointed out, laying your head underneath the crook of your arm.
"Oh, you know what I mean " Jess waves you off. "He's so sweet, adorable and knows material arts, loyal, really, really tall." She sighs dreamily, falling into her bed. "Blonde hair, blue eyes... so shy."
"God help that poor, poor man." You give her a dramatic sigh and make the sign of the cross over your heart, "Corrupting poor Bepo's innocence and cuteness with your overly horny witch craft and voodoo magic. Jess for shame."
"Oh hell yes, I would!" Jess fires back. "Don't you judge me after pinning for drop dead gorgeous Dr Heart Stealer Y/n." She points her finger at you, setting her phone into her bed and pulls her shirt over her head, leaving her in her cute purple lacy bra. "I would bet two hundred beri's.. no five hundred that you've had as many sinful, dirty thoughts and wet dreams for Law as I've had for my bear man."
You grew heated. "Fair enough." You couldn't deny it.
"I'll take your silence as a yes." Jess countered in a single song voice, slipping into an adult panda man onesie and fell back into her pile of panda and polar bear stuffed animals. "I'm home my babies." She scoops an armful and cuddles them, smiling wide.
You were honestly thinking you both had a taste in odd men.
Then again, being stuck in the winter island all your lives does make the world feel smaller.
"Alright, I'm going to bed." You yawn, rubbing your eyes and turn your lamp off on your nightstand.
"Night night, love ya." Jess blows you a kiss. "Give me the details tomorrow sexy mama."
You laugh, smiling. "Night, Jess."
You both hung up.
You peaked underneath you blanket to find Onigiri fast asleep, "Night, Onigiri." You whisper softly and layed back down, hugging your snow leopard closer to your chest as you unlocked your phone, thumb hovering over Law's name.
You knew you'd see him tomorrow, and yet, you couldn't help but feel nervous. Seriously, why did you ask your crush to become your doctor? Were you that desperate? At least, he didn't flat out call you an idiot to your face when you gave him a heart attack this evening.
Law's question rang through your mind.
Are you going to put the baby up for adoption?
Sure, it would be the responsible and logical thing to do. You didn't make enough to have a baby right now. You were barely scrapping by as it is. You did have some saving saved up for a rainy day. You had heard of couples try to conceive for years and were unable to, waiting for a miracle that never came. It would feel nice to help someone like that, but the real question was: Could you?
You were honestly surprised Law would agree to seeing you so easily. Surely, he was busy and had enough on his plate as it is.
You felt your lips curl upward.
Maybe the stoic, ice cold and straight laced doctor had a kind heart?
Taking a deep breath you decided to message Law first, nicknaming him "Snow Leopard" in your phone.
You: Good evening Law, thank you for talking with me tonight. I appreciate it. I'm going to bed now. I'll see you in the morning. Good night. :)
Three dots appeared when he messaged you back.
Snow Leopard: It was no problem at all, Y/n-ya. I was the one who offered in the first place. I am glad that you felt you could confide in me.
Good night and sleep well.
Your smile brightened as you set your phone down on the nightstand. "Good night, Law." You closed your eyes as your heart fluttered in your chest and went to sleep.
On the other side, Law sat down in his reading chair after taking off his reading glasses and the book he was reading, sitting in his lap. His phone in hand as he sighed and rubbed his forehead with the back of his palm.
He frowned look down at the message you sent. The pregnancy test you showed him was positive, but you still needed to be seen for a medical checking up and ultrasound. If you wanted him to be your primarily care doctor, he'd do it. He'd support you, offer medical advice, anything within his power and knowledge to help you.
Law set his glasses on the coffee table, put a bookmark in the book as he was reviewing and revising any material he had on pregnancy, labor and child birth on his selves.
He'd seem you around kids. You were always so kind, offering other pregnant woman a helping hand to the door or to watch their little ones while their mothers had to use the restroom or take a call.
He knew you would make a great mother someday.
He didn't expect for it to happen so soon and with someone else, even a one night stand. The tiny, microscopic percentage that you would get pregnant while using both forms of birth control wasn't unheard of, but the odds were their.
He wasn't aware that you were looking for a casual partner or hookup. He might have offered, if he'd known. Then again, he didn't ask and you hadn't brought it up.
Out of all the men on who came passing through this winter island, it had to be Ace. Luffy's big brother.
Law had Ace's number, knew it wasn't his place to inform the man that you were pregnant, it would be immoral and against doctor and patient confidentiality.
A tiny part of him hoped you didn't have any lingering feeling for the man.
The more he thought about it, the more his feelings he'd bottled up were festering. Jealousy, heartache and longing, to name a few.
Law never wanted you to think he was using his medical practice to coax you into anything you didn't want to do. Or for selfish reasons.
Setting the medical book down on top of the books he had littered and spread outs onto the coffee table. He glanced at it and decided to leave them and would pick everything up in the morning. He stretched and stood to his feet, turned the light off and figured he needed to shower and go to bed.
Law layed in bed, in the dark and stared at the ceiling. His hands tightened around the blanket, then relaxed. It felt dumb to be nervous about tomorrow, he's seen hundreds of patients, so why should tomorrow be any different? Scratch that. He knew why. It was you coming into his office, his new patient.
He scowled at the darkness, rolling onto his side, layed his arm underneath his pillow and slowly took in a deep breath and huffed it through his nose. Reaching for his phone, turning his head as to not blind himself when the screen lit up, glancing down at his lock screen of him and his adoptive father, Rosinante when Law graduated from medical school. Law felt himself smile as he unlocked it with the swipe of his thumb, oops, he forgot to close the text message with you.
He felt his cheeks burn in embarrassed as he backed out and returned to the home screen showing a picture of him, Bepo, Shachi, Penguin and Ikkaku during his uncle Doflamingo's annual Christmas party that Rosinante had taken last year.
Now, that he thought about it. It wasn't long after that he'd met you that night.
He had to rush back to the hospital for an emergency surgery on a patient, after working hours until the patient was stable Law had decided to grab a cup of coffee on the way home. He'd been exhausted, irritable after no sleep, he wasn't looking his best, if he was being honest.
Law had decided to walk down to the local coffee shop since the line in front of the hospital Moonbucks was jam packed and he didn't want to wait. So he went down the street, it was busy but quiet which surprised him. He noticed Bepo, Shachi and Penguin were waiting in line as well, then he remembered they'd mentioned the coffee shop had better service and a more cozy atmosphere. Something about the waitresses were cute and the owner was friendly.
Law didn't really care as long as the coffee wasn't too overpriced or tasted decent, or worse, tasted like watered down bean water. He didn't realize he'd been scowling until a feminine voice called his attention, making him return to reality.
"Long night, I take it?" You smile at him, tablet in hand, waiting patiently. Your hair was in a braid with tiny golden Christmas bells woven into it and you wore a black, blue and white sweater with polar bears wearing scarfs on them. "What can I get you?" You repeat gently.
Law's eyes widened, feeling his heart skip a beat and thud hard into his chest. Inwardly shaking himself and cleared his throat. "Medium dark roast, double shot espresso and cream, please." He felt his skin warm as he pulled out his wallet.
You type out his order, repeat it as he inserts his card. "Will that be all for today, doctor?"
Law's silver gaze met your own. "How did you know?"
Your smile widened, eyes lowering as you giggled. "You're still in uniform doctor."
What? No, he wasn't... Oh. Law glanced down at himself, he was so tired, he forgot to take off his surgical scrubs. Well, that's embarrassing. Thank God, he wasn't covered in blood. The surgeon felt his face grow redder as he covered his eyes with his spotted hat. "Oh, you're right." He muttered to himself, meeting your beautiful gems after typing in his pin and you handed him his receipt. "Thank you miss."
"Y/n." You correct, offering your hand. "Doctor?"
Law readjusted his hat, took your smaller hand in his own and shook it. "Trafalgar Law."
"That's a unique name Trafalgar." You tasted his name on your tongue, made him shudder. "I've never seen you around before. Are you new around here?"
"Law." He correct softly. "Trafalgar is my Last name." He didn't know why he felt the need to correct you, a stranger. He usually didn't care if anyone called him by his first or last name before.
You blushed as you lowered your hand. "Oh, I'm sorry." You cover your burning cheek, giving him a cute sheepish and apologetic smile. "I beg your pardon Law."
It felt right, hearing you call his name. He liked it.
"None taken, Y/n-ya." Law left his lips curl into a slight smirk causing your blush to deepen.
"Y/n-ya?" Your brows furrowed as you stared at him in curiosity. "Is that a strange habit of yours Law?" You lower your hand from your face and half turn, writing his name in a clear medium sized plastic cup. "Or is it how you usually greet people Law-ya?" You tease, eyes sparkling with a teasing lit.
Oh, you were spunky too?
Law's gaze flickered to your hand writing it was neat and cursive, pretty even. His smirk grew into something smug and playful, "Something like that." He commented returning his card into his wallet and back into the pocket of his coat.
"Thank you, Law. Your order will be right up." You fully turn, walking to the coffee machine to make his order.
His gaze lowered to your backside in those tight, stretchy black leggings and black boots. He felt himself swallowing, mesmerized by the sway of your hips before he shook himself, raising a hand to scrub his jaw as he glanced away.
Well, he was awake, flustered and horny now. Great, just what he needed.
Law shuffles awkwardly towards the pick up counter, waiting and pulling out his phone to distract himself when he feels someone sling an arm over his shoulder.
"Rough morning, Captain?" Shachi asked smiling.
"Rough night." Law grunts. "Some dumbass decided to fist fight Akainu and play with fire last night while drunk."
"Wow, seriously? On Christmas?" Bepo asks, appearing on the other side of Law.
"Who's that crazy enough to face that tight assed marine?" Penguins asks.
Law sighed, shaking Shachi off and pinched the bridge of his nose with his middle and index finger. "Monkey D Luffy, Garps grandson."
Bepo, Shachi and Penguin all parroted in shock, eyes wide. "Monkey D Garp has a grandson?!"
"Yes, apparently he's got three troublesome grandsons and Luffy, or StrawHat is one of them." Law admitted. "I talked with him and StrawHats mother last night in the waiting room. A reckless, stubborn kid was pissed off about Akainu insulting his older brothers."
"Law?" You called.
Law opened his eyes, lowered his hand and met your smiling face.
"Your order is ready." You lower his coffee onto the counter and scoot it towards him. "Careful, it's hot." You warned gently.
"Well, hello again gorgeous." Penguin purred.
"Captain, I didn't know you were hitting on this cutie." Shachi asked, wiggling his brows, covering his mouth to whisper into Law's pierced ear. "Go, cap. Did you get her number?"
"No, I'm not." Law bit out, gritting his teeth. "And get off." He shrugged him off, stepping forward to pick up his drink. His face softened as he sighed, already feeling mentally drained. "Thank you, Y/n-ya."
"Your welcome, Law." You replied, smile widening as you waved goodbye. "Have a good day and hope to see you again soon."
Law'a lips curled as he plugged his phone onto the charger and layed it down beside him. It figures that it quickly became a habit for him to have coffee at Max's shop from then onward. He had to see you again, even if, he wouldn't admit it at the time. Whenever Law was stressed or down, he thought of you and your smiling face.
Closing his eyes as he whispered gently, "Night, Y/n."
---------
You arrived way too early. At seven in the morning. Folder in hand with all of your important paperwork and your purse as you walked into the hospital and towards the receptionist who greeted you with a practiced perfect smile.
"How many I help you?"
"Did Doctor Trafalgar Law schedule me an appointment for an ultrasound and blood work?" You asked, feelings your cheeks heat up. It would be super embarrassing, if he had forgotten.
She raised a brow. "I'll check." Her eyes returning to her computer, hands hovering over the keyboard. "Name?"
You give her your first and last name.
"Yes, Doctor Law has you scheduled in." She picked up a clip board and handed it to you. "Fill these out please and he'll call you shortly." Her gaze scanning you up and down.
Why do you feel as if she's low key judging you?
"Thank you." You smiled back, picked a seat and sat down. Opening your folder and wallet, writing down your information. You were on the last page when some walked through the door and called your name.
"Y/n L/n?"
You raised you head, smiling widening as you gathered your things and stood.
It was Bepo. The giant man was dress in bright orange scrubs.
"Bepo!" You walked towards him. You ignored the receptionist stare on your back. "It's great to see you."
Bepo leaned down and hugged you, gently. "Garchu, Y/n!" The giant blonde man nuzzled the top of your head in affection. "Law told me you would be here this morning, but he didn't say what for." He pulled away, frowning in worry. "Are you alright?"
You forgot that Bepo was a huger. "Garchu Bepo." You laughed, hugging him back. "I'm fine. Just need to run a few tests." Well, you weren't wrong.
"Don't be nervous." Bepo holds the door open for you and let you in first before leading the way with his own clip board in hand. "First we will do a standard physical and then Law will be with you shortly." Glancing down at the clipboard in your hand he smiled, "I'll take that for you when you are finished."
True to his word, Bepo took your height and weight, standard physical. Gave you a plastic cup with your name on it and asked you to use the bathroom across the hallway to pee in a cup.
It always felt awkward peeing in one of those tiny plastic cups. You were lightly haunted the one time you had to use one during a standard drug test and your were on your period. That was embarrassing as you had handed it to the guy with a huge blush on your face.
Shaking your head you took the cup, did your business, washed your hands and very carefully watched back to the nurses station to hand her the full cup.
She thanked you and took the sample with a gloved hand and put it in a ziplock bag.
You made a beeline towards the room you were in to finished your paperwork. Don't think about it. Don't think about it. Don't think about it!
You placed the clipboard onto the desk when you heard someone knock.
"Y/n-ya?" Law's voiced called behind the door. "May I come in?"
"Yes, Law you may." You giggle. You really couldn't help it. You walked back towards your seat.
Law opened the door and walked in, a brow raised. "Someone slept well, if you are this spunky in the morning."
You try to ignore how incredible-y hot Law looks in his glasses, lab coat and the stethoscope around his neck. Not to mention, the black button down he's wearing with a few of the buttons unbuttoned and his sleeves roll half up his arms. Jesus, did he not care about the hospital dress code?
You swallow, stealing a glance at his tattoos, not to mention the hint of muscle peaking though. Oh, how you wanted to trace the hidden pattern of ink with your fingers or tongue. Inwardly telling yourself to shut up you answered, "Something like that."
Closing the door behind him, Law went towards the sink to wash his hands, dry them and slip on a pair of latex gloves. "Other than yesterdays vomiting. Are you showing any other symptoms of pregnancy? Anything you can think of or might have missed?"
You hum, counting off your fingers. "My period being two weeks late, having to go to the bathroom more often, I have this weird craving for bbq and having cramps, but no period.... that's about it."
"Everything seems normal." He concluded, picking up your paperwork and skimming through it. "Do you remember what set off your nausea?"
"Yeah, pickles from Max's sandwich which sucks." You pout. "I love pickles."
Law glanced up and opened his mouth to say something when there was another knock on the door.
"Come in." Law answered without peaking over his shoulder.
"I'm coming to collect Y/n's paperwork and to give her this gown to change into." Bepo replied sheepishly, "Sorry." The poor man got easily discouraged and depressed.
"It's fine, Bepo." Law waved him off, handing him the clipboard, taking the blue dressing gown from Bepo and handing it off to you before he stood. "I'll let you change while I wait outside."
"Thank you again, Law." You smile causing the doctor to pause.
"Your welcome, Y/n-ya." Law gave a hint of smile then closed the door behind him.
You released the breath that you didn't know you were holding. Just think of this as a regular doctors visit, Y/n. Don't make it weird. Law's not here to be ogled and drooled after. You mentally scolded yourself, feeling yourself growing flustered. He's doing his job. Get those fantasies out of your head!
Ugh, why did Jess slip that stupid doctor romance novel into your email this morning?! You know she did it on purpose.
Didn't help that it had you hooked when you found out of the male lead was a grumpy doctor. Who had you immediately think of Dr Heart Stealer himself.
Folding your clothes into the chair beside you on top of your folder and purse. You felt yourself shiver from the cold air in the room when you were completely naked, except for your fuzzy socks. You knew it would look stupid, but you knew the floor would be cold if you took them off. So you slipped on the hospital gown. Uh oh. How were you going to tie the back, if you can't see what your doing?
Okay, think about it as a bigger apron. That's all it is, yup... nope. Dammit.
You jumped as your heard another knock on the door. "Yes?" You sat down in your seat, on the white crinkly thin assed sheet of paper they always put on these seats. You knew it was for sanitary reasons, but you always hoped you never tore it.
"Y/n-ya? Are you decent?" Law asked.
"I.. uh.. I might need some help." You admitted, mentally groaning. "Can you help me, please?"
Law opened the door. "What's the matter?"
You pout and half turn while completely covering your ass, yet you felt the cold air hit your back. "I can't seem to tie it."
"Is that all?" He chuckled, step forward and slipping on new medical gloves. "I can always ask a female nurse to-"
You cut him off. "It's really no bother, Law."
"Alright." Law nods, slowly approaching as you fully turned and moved your hair out of the way. The man towers over you, reaches out, his inked hand hesitates before he helps you tying the hospital gown closed. His skilled fingers move with practiced easy. Gaze flickering down to your skin, noticing the map of goosebumps, It's from the cold in the room, he tells himself, even if, he secretly wished it was from him having such an affect on you.
With your back completely bare before him and being unable to see his transfixed and greedy stare as his cheeks warm and his heartbeats and thunders hard in his ears. He'd love nothing more than to trail feathery light kisses or his inked digits along the nape of your neck, press you closer into his chest and cause a new litter of goosebumps to pebble and rise.
God, Law doesn't know what he wants to do more. Hold you, tease you, kiss you or all three? Was this a bad idea or mistake having you as his new patient? A cute distraction that he didn't need. A temptation to test his patience as he forced himself to not act on impulse or his intrusive thoughts? Swallowing thickly, he lowered his hands. "There." He backed away to give you space as to not intimidate you. Law hoped you didn't think he was being a creep with how long it look him to tie the damned gown closed.
You fully turn and smile at him. "Thanks, Law."
"Your welcome, Y/n-ya." He meets your beautiful eyes. Once again, he found himself checking impulse after impulse with you, ignoring the yearning he felt or simply reach out to cup your face to run his inked thumb along the apple of your cheek.
Your gaze lowered dreamily to his lips. Would he taste like mint and coffee? Cinnamon, or spearmint?
There was another knock on the door, causing reality to come crashing back down, washing away the sexual tension and raw, burning haze from you both.
Yes, he's The Doctor and you as his new Patient.
Law's jaw clenches. "What is it?" He calls without glancing away from you before half turning to fully glare at whoever the hell was behind that goddamn door.
The door opens, Penguin peaks his head through and smiling sheepishly. "Sorry to disturb you but uh.... the newbies in training and interns are growing bored." His gaze flickers to you, his face and eyes brighten, apologetic smile turning smug. Oh, that's why Captains been fidgeting and antsy since he clocked in at 5am, secretly passing his office.
Law's heated glare turned seething, clicking his tongue. "Can't they follow simple orders or expect me to hold their hands?" Slipping his gloves off and throwing them in the trash as he storms towards the door, pauses and glances back at you from over his shoulder. "Excuse me, Y/N-ya." His face and angered expression softened a smidge, noticeable, but there.
"Don't worry." You wave your hand in a shooing gesture. "I'll be right here. "Don't be too harsh on 'em Doctor Law." You giggle.
Law nods again, giving his back to you. His eyes darken and his long legs making quick strides in Penguin's direction who immediately backs away to give his friend and boss more room. His inked hand tightens around the handle, the metal groans as he swung the door open, his frame taking up the full space as he goes off. "What the hell are you lot stranding around for? This is a hospital. A place of medicine and healing, not an amusement park or get away."
You hear apologies flying, feet shuffling at Law's command as if he's God himself.
"Sorry Doctor!"
"Right away, Sir!"
"But I already finished my task."
"It's my break, Doc." Someone complained. "Been working since last night."
Law's jaw continues to clench and grind. "I don't want to hear excuses," he growls, causing all of them to take in their boss' demeanor. Sure, Law's a crabby, stick in the mud and can bark out harsh and cold comments, but... The Surgeon of Death looks more angry and close to snapping.
It's like he's a man possessed by the devil himself.
Bepo looks worried.
Penguin huddled closer to Shachi, whispering in his ear that you are here. The pairs shoulders shake, trying to keep in their snickers. "Caps, gone full territorial mode."
Of course, Law heard that. "What was that?" A tick mark formed on the corner of his forehead. "Are you volunteering for Clinic Duty this morning, Shachi?" He tilts his head, voice dripping in venom. "How kind of you. Now hop to it."
Penguin and Shachi flinch. Their eyes widening, meeting cold, liquid silvers.
"But Cap, it's Pen's turn.." Shachi correctly.
Law's eyes narrows. "Did I stutter?"
Shachi shuts up and followed orders.
Being left along, you were left with your thoughts and observing. You were reminded of seeing him in his blue scrubs the first night you two met.
Law seemed like the kind of angry and grumpy doctor who rarely smiled or glares and barks orders, a gorgeous asshole with a coffee addiction, clearly overworked and an insomniac.
It makes sense, that he's grouchy.
You will admit that you felt a spark rush through you when your eyes connected with his stormy, smoldering silver eyes. They're beautiful and overpowering.
You think that's the first time you've been Law's stoic mask crack into a murderous glower. Dare you say his angry expression was cute? Watching from a distance, he looked like a tiger stalking his pray, it should make you feel unnerved and scared.
You can't pull your gaze away from the scene.
Then again, this is the first time you've seen Law in his element, his work place and stomping ground. The growl and authority dripping from his deep voice causes your thighs to press together, his shoulders are tense as his inked hand tightens around the door frame, muscles flexing underneath his inked skin.
His demeanor is more intimating. His agitation vibrates through the chill in the air conditioned room, causing goosebumps to rise and spread across your skin and your nipples hardened as you bite your lower lip. Sweet mother and Christ, scold me and command me like that Doctor Law and I'm all yours. You feel your face grow inflamed as you mentally scold yourself again. Dammit, go away, naughty thoughts, go away! You yell inside your head and mentally waving your arms, growing more embarrassed. Stupid Jess! Stupid raunchy Doctor romance novel! I blame you!
Hearing the door close, your straighten your shoulders and try to act as if you weren't mentally arguing with yourself and thinking something kinky about your new, hot Doctor.
Law lowers his frame back into his seat, scooting it closer as the wheels roll across the tiled floor. He releases a huff, shoulders relaxing as he runs an inked hand through his dark, unruly tresses. "Apologies, Y/n." This close, you can see the faint dark circles underneath his eyes, become more pronounced as it brings out the color of his bewitching liquid metal orbs.
You swallow around the lump in your throat, mouth feels dry. "Can I have some water, please?"
"Of course," Law nods, standing to his feet, walks out to the nurses station and comes back with a chilled bottle of water. "Are you alright?" Offering you the water with a hint of concern in his voice.
"Yup, I'm fine." You take it and try to open it. Brows furrow as you try again. "What the hell?" Again, its not budging. "Did they glue this on or something?"
Law pressed his lips together to bite back a laugh. "Here, let me before you make a mess." He reaches out and gently, taking the plastic bottle into his hand, twisting it and like magic it opens with ease. Resealing it and handing it back to you, watching as you reach out and squeeze the offending plastic a bit too hard, not caring, if a few big, fat droplets fall and land on your thin hospital gown.
"What kind of bullshit is this?" You glare at the bottled water as you took a few gulps to quench your thirst. You blink, feeling yourself grow even more heated and re-screwing the cap. "Wow, these mood swings are seriously no joke. Oh, thank you by the way."
This time Law did laugh. "No problem, Y/n-ya." He cleared his throat while his shoulders shook as he grinned, it looks boyish and made him appear younger as he answered. "Loss of strength, hormonal changes, mood swings and fatigue are all normal during the first trimester."
"I can't exactly run to you every time I can't open a bottle of water Law." You replied, hand tightening around the bottle. "You are a busy guy. People need you."
"Yes, but I'm your doctor now and I always take good care of my patients. You are a top priority now, don't ever forget that Y/n-ya."
"Playing favorites now are we, Doctor Law?" You tease, leaning back down onto the table.
Law was tempted to say yes, but kept his mouth shut as he pulled the mini ultrasound machine closer.
He takes what looks to be a white vibrating wond, if you've ever seen one. Slipping a condom over it, opening a bottle of lube and smearing it on the device. "Now, I want you to guide this to the opening of your vagina and I'll do the rest." His tone is serious, he isn't joking.
Your eyes widen. "What?" Your face reddening.

୨୧ # LIVING WITH SOLOMON IN COCYTUS HALL 2 | SOLOMON
feat. [nightbringer] solomon x gn!mc contents. fluff ── physical touch, mentions of the mc being sad lol, comfort ^_^, solomc being silly genre. headcanons / drabble words. 1896 note. im so sleepy... enjoy my solomon posting.
read part 1 here
solomon.
▸ if you could describe what it was like living with solomon the best way you could put it was, “the first week of what it’s like being married.” or at least, what you think it’d be like.
▸ at first it was weird getting used to living there with just one person. after living with seven demons, getting used to quiet was…weird. honestly if you didn’t know any better you’d think you were in cocytus hall by yourself. solomon’s so quiet it’s freaky. the man doesn’t even make noise when he walks…his footsteps are so silent you wonder if he learned that from barbatos.
▸ solomon knows this and likes to sneak up behind you when you’re lounging around or actively doing chores. little bastard gets a kick when you jolt or drop whatever was in your hand. you’re this close to punching him
▸ regardless on if you like insects or not, solomon has given himself the role of getting rid of any pest that might be hidden away in the crevices of cocytus hall. why? he just likes doing little things for you! though… he’s such an ass about it on occasion.
peeking over from the door way of your room, you see solomon hunched over on the ground with a napkin in his hand. you spotted what seemed to be like the devildoms version of a centipede on the ground.
it looked.. weird and you didn’t want to really touch it, who knows what could’ve happened? so, you sought after your personal exterminator to do the job for you. is it a little wrong for you to put solomon in the front lines in case something happened? maybe.
“did you get it?” you speak up, getting his attention. solomon turns around waves the wriggling creature sandwiched between the folds of the napkin in his hand.
“hm? yea, want to see?” he grins mischievously, walking over and bringing it closer to you. god, that thing looked like a elongated maggot. you faked gagged and held your hands up, pushing him away from you.
“get that thing away from me before I throw both you and…it out the door.”
solomon stuck his tongue out at you before tossing the thing out the window, (didn’t even kill it lol)
“got rid of it for you, don’t i deserve a kiss?” he teases half heartedly
you sit in silence for a moment before beckoning him closer with your hand. he didn’t really expect you to follow through with it, beaming he walks closer to you and leans forward expectantly. you smile, kissing the tips of your index and middle finger, pressing them against his lips.
“in your dreams, old man.”
▸ after like a week solomon gained this habit that became routine for the both of you. when you’re spending your day busy attending to the brothers, solomon will wait for you to come back <3.
▸ the man doesn’t sleep… so it’s not like he’ll get tired if you come back late. still, you still don’t want to be back late because sometimes it’ll be like fuck ass o’clock and solomon’s sitting on the couch like,
“welcome back, mc. i’ve missed you.”
“you missed me?”
“very much. i made you dinner <3”
“wow…gee, im sooooo sleepy right now. i think i might die if i dont fall asleep right now.”
▸ casually cuddling with each other became a thing between the two of you after the first few nights you two shared a bed. laying in each others arms at night while recounting the events that happened that day. solomon gently stroking your cheek while listening to you talk about the brother’s recent misadventures. sometimes he’d interrupt your train of thought by kissing your knuckles, chuckling when he hears you trail off into complete silence.
“what’s wrong mc?” solomon muses, your hand pressed against his lips.
solomon presses another kiss to your hand before letting you pull it away, moving to brush his hair away from his face. “your lips… they’re soft.” you mumble half distracted.
“you sound surprised.”
▸ i talked about it before but i’ll go more in depth about these “sleepovers” that happen between you and solomon. the first time it happened, you slept in solomon’s bed without really meaning to.
it was the first day of being sent back centuries, you were completely overwhelmed. how cold the brothers were, treating you as if you were something at the bottom of their shoe. being unable to go back to the present, YOUR timeline where you had found yourself becoming family with the demon brothers. it became too much for you. if it weren’t for solomon tracking you down, you’d be completely alone in such an unfamiliar world.
you laid your head on solomon’s lap, clinging onto his clothes while you sobbed your little heart out. you felt pathetic honestly, feeling so small and alone. you couldn’t exactly help it. for the first time in a long time you felt so... helpless.
it was a similar feeling you had back when you first arrived into the devildom, the longing to just want to be back home where it was safe. solomon must’ve picked up on it, he offered you comfort without any hesitation.
solomon could only imagine what must’ve been stirring in your head. complicated feelings of your current situation, grateful you’re not entirely alone but fearful you’ll never be back “home”.
you were surrounded by so many familiar faces and yet, you couldn’t even recognize any of them. the demons that stood before you just hours prior were not the ones you had grown to love and care for, they weren't “family” to you just as you weren’t anything to them. your grip on solomon’s pants tighten as a sob ripped out from your throat. “i want to go home” were the only thoughts swirling in your head.
you’re not entirely sure as to how long you stayed like that. face buried in the lap of your teacher who held you as you cried on him. no words were ever exchanged between the two of you and yet there was a deep understanding between you both.
solomon knew what the brothers meant to you and had silently promised himself to get you back home safely by any means necessary.
you ended up falling asleep just like that. clinging onto solomon as if he’d disappear and forget you too. not that the sorcerer minded of course. solomon would gently move you to a more comfortable position on his bed, letting you lay there peacefully as he pulled up a chair beside the bed.
he wasn’t entirely sure if you’d be comfortable sleeping in the same bed with him just yet, so he opted to simply hold your hand throughout the night.
when “morning” had finally arrived, you woke up confused as you took in your surroundings. memories from the previous day had flooded back in and filled the blank spaces in your mind. ‘I’m still here…’ you thought, closing your eyes hoping that when you opened them back up you’d be back in your bed at the house of lamentation.
▸ ever since that night, it seems that the soft spot that solomon harbored for you had grown tenfold. likewise, you find yourself seeking his comfort more and more. there’s something about solomon’s presence that comforts you… it has similar affects on you like what being around simeon does.
▸ solomon lets you come to his room in the middle of the night when you can’t sleep. he never minds it when you climb into the sheets and lay next to him, he finds the hushed apologies that leave your lips quite adorable.
▸ he’ll pretend that he doesn’t notice you clutch onto his shirt or how you hold onto his hands. if this makes you feel safe, if he makes you feel this way then who is he to deny you.
▸ mornings are an entire ordeal with him… solomon isn’t much of a morning person (imo). he’s the type of person you’ll never see before 12pm. i swear, mornings are the few times his age catches up to him lmaoooooo.
▸ it’s like 10 am and solomon still isn’t out of his room. on any other day you wouldn’t pay any attention to it and would’ve left cocytus hall by now. but today’s different. why? because you miss him :p.
▸ waking him up usually goes like;
you walking over to his bed and flopping over ontop of him, “wake up, old man.”
“ghn-” he groans (weirdly) and sits up groggily. “mc? do you need something?”
“you.”
solomon sits in silence processing what you just said to him. once it finally clicks he laughs tiredly, “you woke me up just for my attention???”
“if i said yes would you give it to me?”
“i’ll think about it.” he sticks his tongue out. you grumble, “mammon would gladly give me attention…” solomon suddenly wraps his arms around you into an uncomfortably tight embrace.
“but he’d never love you as much as i love you” he says playfully, ignoring how you smack his back in attempts of trying to get him to let go.
“you love me?” solomon loosens his embrace and lets you pull away, he then puts a finger to his chin and pretends to think for a moment.
“sometimes”
▸ running errands together has become routine. sometimes you’d go on a grocery run not just for yourself but for restocking the kitchen back at the house of lamentation for…obvious…reasons.
▸ everytime you have to do that you call up solomon. “the bags are heavy.” you reason. solomon agrees to it because who wouldn't want an excuse to hang out with their favorite person ^_^.
▸ though…going shopping with solomon always ends up with you getting side tracked. he’ll end up buying you something that “reminds him of you” but it’s always something odd. you try not to think of what exactly it is he thinks of you when he sees a wooden figure of a headless chicken but i digress.
▸ honestly speaking, you don’t get to see much of solomon throughout your day. you spend a lot of your time attending to the brothers that any moments with him is cherished <3
▸ being launched back into time unwillingly has been hard for you. emotionally and mentally draining, having to somewhat relive your past with the demons hasn’t been easy.. and yet, just having one familiar face by your side has been enough for you to get by.
▸ you catch yourself wanting to spend more time with solomon. more and more you find yourself saying “sorry, i have to get back home” when politely rejecting the brothers’ requests at staying over just a little longer. it’s not that you want to disappoint them, there’s just…something about cocytus hall that you gravitate towards.
▸ maybe it’s not cocytus hall itself. you don’t exactly consider cocytus hall your home, it’s too grand and too unfamiliar for you. not even the purgatory hall was all that familiar to you.
▸ in your mind, it felt as though you were more so attached to solomon himself rather than the building. wherever he was, that’s where “home” would be.
thank you for reading, rbs appreciated<3 m.list

We’re All Family Here
Reader is Carter’s younger sister and she has a prosthetic leg and the reader is worried that Rip and Beth will kick her off the ranch if they found out. Wattpad request from - @Quackity_bwead
Pulling down the Jean of my right leg I sighed staring at myself in the mirror that was in my room in Rip and Beth’s house. My brother Carter was already up for work in the barn but I got to sleep in this morning which was rare. Walking out of the house I headed to the barn with large Y above the doorway. The sun had just started to rise above the mountains and everybody was busy already working. Taking my horse out of the stall I climbed on feeling my fake leg hanging over. “Alright boy, let’s go.”
Kicking my horse we rode off towards the sunset with the wind running through my hair. I was wearing a tan dark cowgirl hat and my hair was tied in a braid. Riding through the fields I saw my older brother Carter who was trying to rope a cafe but it started running at me. “Y/n, watch out!” He cried when the cafe got underneath my horses leg and it spooked causing the horse to throw me off its back.
“Sis I’m sorry. I just couldn’t get a good hold on it.” My brother apologized coming over on his horse while Ryan rode past me to go grab my horse that had ran off somewhere else.
Rubbing the back of my neck I winced feeling some pain but it wasn’t as bas I have normally been through. Shifting my gaze away from my brother I saw that Rip was riding over to us. He dismounted his horse quickly dropping himself on a knee in front of me. “What the hell happened, kid. You can’t be injuring any of our guys!..are you hurt Y/n?”
“No just sore a little.” I shook my head not understanding why his deep brown eyes seemed to be filled with concern.
Rip moved closer to me touching my right leg and he pulled up the fabric of my pant. Once he saw something odd sticking out of your pant leg he knew something must be wrong. “Then what exactly is wrong with your leg here?” He questioned me where I finally noticed that he had seen my fake leg.
“I….uh….” I yanked my leg back feeling my face turn red being embarrassed over this. Carter wasn’t with me the night of the accident. I was just driving back to our place with our dead beat dad until someone rear ended me harshly.
Rip saw that I wasn’t going to answer him so he called to Ryan who had brought back my horse. “Ryan, take her back to the ranch.” Getting to my feet I climbed back on my horse and followed the ranch hand back to the ranch then he went back to work like Rip had asked him.
Laying on my bed inside my room I stared at the ceiling in silence and a pit of nervousness. Sitting upright I knew I had messed up or more so my brother had. I had done my best to keep the fact that I had a prosthetic leg a secret. In fear that if they knew I would be removed from the ranch. Someone came down the hallway and I lifted my head up seeing it was Beth. “Hi mom….uh what’s up?” I nervously asked since she had just started letting me call her that.
“I heard about your fall today from Rip. I’m happy you shook it off but we need to talk about something.” She entered the bedroom before I saw that Rip was also walking in behind her heels.
Playing with my thumbs in my lap I avoided their gazes when they came to sit down on the bed. Well Beth did leaving Rip standing directly in front of me. “So are you going to tell me about your leg or no?”
“I don’t really want to talk about it…” I gulped trailing off in my response already knowing the answer they would give me.
It was hard enough for Carter to prove that he would be a good worker. I already was a good hand but the fake leg wasn’t a good look. John Dutton had the greatest ranch in Montana and that means he should have close to the best people working for him. “You better tell us otherwise things will get ugly.” Beth warned me with her annoyed look and I froze knowingly.
"It's...it's about my prosthetic leg..." Rolling my pants leg, I made it visible to their gaze, and I didn't dare make eye contact with either of them. "I didn't want to tell you about it because I've been sp terrified of what you would say. Even though I get my work done, nobody else on this ranch has one. So I....just assumed that you would kick me off the ranch over it."
Rip put his hands on his hips, tilting my head to the side slightly. "That's totally ridiculous, Y/n. We would never do that."
"This family may be complicated, but we don't abandon our family members." Beth shifted on her spot on the bed, grasping my hand in hers.
Hanging my mouth open I couldn't believe it. "Really but I thought that-"
"That what us having some cowboys from the prison and others in debt wouldn't have given you the message that we take in the trouble so they can have a home." Rip declared, coming to sit down beside me, tucking hair behind my ear.
I parted my lips without thinking I fling my arms around his neck hugging him tightly. Rip stiffened up at the embrace but calmed down after a second and wrapped his arms around me with the same comfort. “Thank you….I didn’t think you would let me stay.” I sniffed against his chest.
“Anyone who has a problem with that will have to deal with me.” Beth responded after I hugged her and she actually hugged me back too to my surprise. I smiled at the pair knowing that Carter and I were gonna do really good here. This wasn’t just a rnhc, it was a family for everybody.
