i’m bored and i said i’d do it like a week ago so. what music i think bsd characters would listen to, brought to you from a guy who does not know that much about music

partially inspired by the character songs but not entirely

atsushi: mainstream pop, but generally the more gentle and acoustic stuff, even rock or folk leaning pop. also bubblegum pop he’d still jam to anything that’s fun tho

dazai: mainstream pop but the obnoxious annoying stuff. hyperpop also. but he’s generally okay with any genre. likes checking out experimental indie stuff

kunikida: dad rock, oldies. also hot take he’s enjoy lo-fi stuff (one of the other ada members introduces it to him and he tries working with it to block out noise other members *cough*dazai*cough* make and it works wonders)

ranpo: pop but slightly older stuff like 70s 80s vibes, and jazz but the more upbeat and intense sort of jazz. extremely picky about what he likes and gets bored of songs p quickly, so he enjoys more complex and interesting songs

yosano: pop-rock or indie stuff. smooth jazz. sometimes in the mood for more violent rock and metal in part to drown out noises while working lol

tanizaki: this is 100% bc he occupies the same space in my brain as yosuke hanamura but 00s rock. nickelback and linkin park sort of music. some emo stuff

kenji: would it be cliche to say country. lmao but really i think he’d be chill with anything, but prefer acoustic and indie stuff

kyouka: i think she’d hear modern pop songs involving classic japanese elements and ascend. she’d vibe with bubblegum pop but prefer quieter stuff

fukuzawa: classic japanese stuff ofc. doesn’t particularly dislike anything but prefers quiet/mellow music if possible

akutagawa: do i even need to say goth rock + emo. look at him. that guy inhales symphonic metal for a living and you know it. his guilty pleasure is musicals but like, the old classic extra dramatic sort of musicals

chuuya: classic rock + heavy rock and even hardcore stuff i’d say. punk and its subgenres as well. likes some pop songs as a guilty pleasure but hides it vehemently

higuchi: bubblegum pop and pop punk. kinda similar taste to atsushi as in she prefers quiet and acoustic pop more

tachihara: rock, pop punk, loud and violent

gin: emo. warped tour-esque music. kinda similar to tachihara but edgier

hirotsu: classical music, smooth jazz, quiet and mellow

kajii: exprimental. i don’t need to explain myself

kouyou: classic japanese music

mori: orchestral stuff and smooth jazz. opera even

lucy: musicals and dramatic indie pop (i swear i can’t think of a better way to describe it. i’m sure what i mean has a specific name i don’t know unfortunately but if you know it you probably know what i mean). if anyone likes disney osts it’s her

poe: dramatic orchestral stuff, lots of organ and harpsichord sounds. on the flip side, likes lo-fi chill stuff too

steinback: country lmao

nathaniel: church music. amen

louisa: folk, acoustic, quieter and more mellow pop, as well as some more classic musical stuff

mark: mainstream radio pop no doubt no doubt. doesn’t go too deep into genres he just likes fun songs and whatever he can sing along to

melville: i say oldies and i mean OLDIES like 20s 30s sort of music. classical music as well

francis: oldies, rock n roll specifically. claims to like jazz to sound fancy but does not really get it

fyodor: i mean he’s p much the only character with a canon music taste, so. makes my job easier. he likes classical music

nikolai: realistically, classical music (based on how he doesn’t know the word “band” and asks if it’s like an orchestra in that one omake). emotionally, he would thrive on scene kid music, electroswing, hyperpop, and clowncore stuff. he would unironically enjoy penis music

sigma: indie pop. the most basic music you can imagine that is not quite fully mainstream. kinda bland stuff but that’s the way he likes it

fukuchi: classic old stuff but like, marches and orchestra music. while putting up his friendly persona, he’d scream along to dad rock music

SEWER_PARTY_RAMPAGE_199X (1h13m) - Rina playlist. Just Silly Crazy Girl Tunes. Some breakcore some weird stuffs but it is hard to describe I go for here... it's really a lot of things that spell out "Silly Woman Ahead" like that's it. if you listen you'll get it

The Haunted Building In Your House (1h33m) - General weird place playlist (vaguely counts as a Lucia/Haven Inc playlist)

Della Morte e Dell'Amore (2h23m) - Salice playlist and you can really tell I went crazy on this one - it needs to be fixed but mostly post punk, new wave, rocking tunes, songs about the devil and death, and Danse Macabre!

Contained (1h45m) - Eureka playlist... this one is fun... what if I was a silly girl with a demon inside of me and liked to kill and eat people etc... Needs some updates. Majorly on the heavy side with metal, rock, again with the post-punk industrial electronic stuff, #feminism

Vermiculous (1h2m) - Jenica playlist. This one is sweet and sad and fucked up at the same time. There's a little bit of everything (counts also as a general story playlist and isnt entirely Jenica-centered)

Monsters In Love (56m) - Karmina & Eden playlist... it's complicated but in a very pop and melancholic and horny way and so forth. Immortals having their rendezvous. Mostly pop music about love and whatnot. Lady Gaga and Britney Spears are there too obviously

Living Dead Man (1h26m) - Tisha playlist. THIS ONE IS A DOOZY I reccomend it if you like SAD songs about SAD MEN and Goth rock and some post punk and sleazy vibes here and there. It's a work in progress but it's one of my favorites so far (delusional). Bauhaus in this one was a must but there's also other goodies

Poppy Fields Where Lost Girls Go (1h51m) - Kuobakhaya playlist which is mostly very sad and about being high (which is definitely what she is most of the time, both of those). Laura Palmer's theme song is there which should tell you a lot about the character itself if you know the story behind that piece of music... anyway this one is a little sad. But I like it (the lenght backs this up)

i have even more than these but theyre works in progress enough that i dont wanna share em to the public Just Yet or they need to be updated/they're old/etc. One of the things I wanna do when im done being busy with school is do what my parents used to do which is actually make physical CD burns of my playlists with custom graphics etc... I'm not a musician but i like listening to music and like the idea of making graphics for compilations i like :-)

Miko teaches Cody how to play lots of pranks + they get into trouble together

My personal HC for Miko is that she can break someone's arm or leg and she teaches that to Cody so the next time Kade pisses Cody off Kade ends up with a broken arm or leg

They talk a lot about the bots and will force the bots to do silly things

When their not talking about the bots, Cody is teaching Miko how to take care of plants, animals, and consider other ppls feelings and how to help them

And Miko teaches Cody how to be a bit wreck less and how to play instruments

They sneek out and spray paint walls of old buildings but get in trouble later

If someone is picking on Cody, Miko will without a doubt go up to the person and say lots of unnecessary things and threat's

Both ✨sleep deprived ✨ at some point in life they both are

Cody died his hair pink for a while and Miko added some blonde to her hair (they both switched back to their original hair colors because the hair didn't turn out right or it didn't look good)

They will both bug Kade and say stuff like how he hasn't moved out yet or he's the eldest and should have had kids by now + they do the same thing to Danni and Graham but it's not as often

One time Cody had a bad nightmare and started to cry and Miko was the only one awake and she did not know how to calm down Cody, she just took the blanket, wrapped it around Cody and started singing a lullaby and it worked and Cody calmed down and fell back asleep

Miko ties Cody's hair into a lil ponytail and Cody braids + make buns with Miko's hair

Sweets are the things they love the most and they will take all the good candy on Halloween/Early-Ween

Cody starts getting a love for rock and metal music and plays it a lot when he's riding his hoverboard/bike or in one of the bots (everyone thinks Miko turned him into an E-boy/Punk or maybe a bit Goth)

Cody found a scraplet and brought it to team prime and everyone freaked out but Cody showed them that it was a nice one that only ate the things he gave it + he's strong enough to hold it back from attacking (Miko is ok with the "pet" scraplet, but can't sleep at night thanks to it)

They both hate spiders, we all know how Miko reacts to spiders but Cody is throwing stuff at the spider then running away with Miko

If Cody can't sleep at night because of a bad day, hard rescue, nightmare or just can't sleep in general, Miko stays with him and will sing so he can sleep + stay with him for the night

Pillow fights are a must, they will throw pillows at everything and everyone

They will have matching accessories or matching something

Cody makes lil sketches for Miko and Miko puts them in her books

They paint their nails and gossip about everyone

One day Cody was bored and bit Jack's arm but not too hard and Miko did the same thing, they are now labeled as the "bitters"

That's all I got for the chaotic duo
