Anyway one of my siblings walked me through how the hell people wear button down shirts and also gave me a confidence boost and I'm now. SERIOUSLY considering bringing my Paul Matthews cosplay to this event I'm helping with this weekend-
#bookworm speaks#hatchetfield#it wouldn't fit in super well with the rest of the event#but A: NPMD excitement and B: it's about the only cosplay with that shirt I can throw together in the next two days#there's an epithet erased one+I want to do Ib to match Garry but I'm not gonna get those parts in time ;_;#also planning to bring Garry which. will fit a little better? plus the Switch port drops in just a few days so similar to Hatchetfield#and my sister. is uh. working on a Michael Afton one. so I'm gonna match that somehow.#either pull together my version of a FNAF1 cosplay OR find parts for C.C.#it's a three day thing and I DO have other things all three days#but most of my cosplays are subtle enough to slip by if I drop an item or two#anyway. yeah. shoutout to B for walking in while I was trying on the shirt and feeling kinda awkward it in and immediately saying#'I don't know what you're talking about b/c you look amazing'#;_; I love faer so much#cosplay

Bug And Shell(d): The Bubbler.
Normally Nino was excited for birthdays, between him, Kim and Marinette they were often a blast or at least memorable.
Today, however, was Adrien's birthday and Nino was a little afraid on how to proceed, just slightly really.
He'd only known Adrien for all of a few weeks and he felt like he didn't know much about his new bro-friend.
So he had decided to pick out a gift based on a little something that he did know about him. That was wrapped up in the box.
For now though, Nino's attention was drawn to the other item that had arrived with it. All very last minute but he didn't care. Opening the packaging he pulled out his brand new wireless headphones, gone was the plain orange and black colour scheme.
His new ones were custom designed with the outside of each ear piece looking like Carapace's shield, the inside was a dark green much like the darker shade on his costume and the head band came with a soft plush cushion of the same colour.
Overall, not bad and he could always claim it was his way in supporting the heroes, even if he looked a little biased towards his own alter-ego.
As long as their wasn't any harm, then there would be no foul.
"I'm not as caught up with technology as I probably should be." Wayzz stated as he flew around the headphones, inspecting them. "But I'd imagine these won't last forever, power wise at least."
" No they won't, " Nino picked up the headphones before pointing to a small cover, opening it to reveal the ports for wires. "That's why these are here, so I can re-charge it and not worry about power."
he placed them on his neck, feeling a little tension fall out of him at feeling the weight on his neck. He'd gotten slightly stir crazy without his last pair, which he had broken helping that old gentleman, he had almost been tempted to break out the old-old headphones that he kept locked away.
"That's better, come on dude." He opened up his jacket and waited for Wayzz to fly into the inner pocket. Picking up the wrapped present he tucked it under his arm before he left his room, messing up Chris' hair as he walked past him he called his goodbye as he shut the door.
-
"Here you go dude." Nino placed the slightly haphazardly wrapped present in front of Adrien before he swung around the table to sit in his seat. "Happy birthday dude."
" Oh, " seeing that look of genuine surprise on Adrien's face made this worth it, seeing the real excitement as his hands rested on top of the box before he turned to him. "Thanks Nino, you didn't have to do this you know."
" I know. " Nino leaned back slightly. "I wanted to, you're my buddy after all."
He leaned forwards, arm leaning against table. "Besides what friend would I be if I didn't celebrate my buddies birthday?" Holding up a hand to cut off Adrien's protesting he pointed to the gift. " Now are you going to sit there all day? Or open your present? We gotta get it done before miss Bustier gets in here. "
Nino watched as Adrien gave in, fingers carefully peeling back the paper as he tried so, so hard to not tear the paper.
Nino was patient though and let Adrien open it in his own time. By the time he was done the standard red paper was half torn off, half preserved and left all over their desk. Not that he minded though.
He saw Adrien peer into the clear plastic, seeing the Ladybug themed wireless headphones that were the same model as his.
It felt a little cheap or unoriginal but when the headphones came with a '50% for a second pair' deal he couldn't not capitalise on that. Besides, now he could also make the argument that they symbolized their friendship as they both had a single set of the pair.
"100% accurate, Ladybug themed headphones dude. How's that for a B-Day present?"
"Its... Wow, thanks Nino, I don't know what to say."
Slinging his arm over his shoulder he pulled Adrien into a side hug. "Its cool dude, Don't need to say anything," He smiled at him, getting one in return. "Say, why don't I throw you a party?"
That made Adrien's face drop slightly and Nino's own smile dropped as well.
"I don't know Nino... My father... I don't think he'd allow it."
Nino was about to respond, however, Both Marinette and Miss Bustier had entered the room. Marinette handed a wrapped gift to Adrien as she past him. "Happy birthday Adrien."
" Thanks Marinette. "
Before Bustier could get on their cases about the mess Nino scooped up the torn paper before depositing that into the trash bin as Adrien slipped the gifts into his bag.
"Alright class, hope you've settled down now. Cause its time we get started."
-
" Come on man, it's your B-day, Insists. " putting away his tube of bubble mix Nino wrapped his arm around Adrien's shoulder, leaning himself closer to him. "You know what? I'm gonna have a conversation with your pops."
"Don't waste your time, he's not going to change his mind." Nino shook his head. His best bud wasn't going to go without a birthday party, not if he could help it.
"Adrien, dude, I promise you, I will get your father to let you have a birthday party. I promise."
Adrien turned to him, about to respond but was interrupted by Chloé, who had come running from behind them and latched onto him in a sort of awkward hug.
"Adrikins! Happy birthday!" She pulled back and Nino caught onto the genuine smile she seemed to give him. Perhaps Nino was imagining things but he was sure Chloé had been smiling more ever since Adrien had started going to school. It was subtle, but he could see it.
Perhaps her friendship with Adrien meant more to her then people realised.
"Anyway. I ordered something special for you for your birthday, it should be there by this afternoon... Provided the moving guys aren't lazy or anything."
" Thanks Chloé, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. " A cars horn went off several times and the trio turned towards Adrien's limo as it pulled up. "Anyway, I gotta go, Photo shoot."
Nino's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "On your birthday? Not cool dude."
The two of them watched as he walked to the car and Nino adjusted his hat so it wasn't loose. "Looks like I've got some business to take care of with Adrien's old man."
"You. Speak with Gabriel? Don't make me laugh Lahiffe, Gabriel would never waste his time with you."
He shrugged at the blonde girl, a small smile etching onto his face. "So? I thought you of all people would have been thrilled thatsomeone was trying to give Adrien a B-Day party. "
"I'm just saying it how it is." Chloé spoke as she examined her nails. "Uncle Gabe is very stubborn and set in his ways. So don't come crying to me when you can't do anything."
"I'll keep that in mind... Cosplay."
" Hey! "
-
Standing in front of Adrien's house made Nino feel slightly inadequate and nervous. Here he was, outside his buddy's house that looked big enough to house his family, cousins and other distant relatives and still have empty space inside.
Given that it was only Adrien, his dad and several staff, he could understand why Adrien was so keen on getting out of the house. It must have been terribly quiet.
Stil, he resolved his nerves and pressed the button on the intercom as Wayzz nestled into the crook between the headphones and the back of his neck for his comfort, yet out of the way of prying eyes.
He was not, however, expecting to have a large camera come out of the wall and nearly smack him in the face.
"Yes? How may I help you? "
Must've been some fancy camera.
"Uhh... I'm Nino..." He spoke slowly, confusion clear in his voice. "I'm a friend of Adrien's and I was hoping to speak with his father regarding his birthday."
With each passing moment that was silent Nino grew more uncomfortable.
"Please wait, I'll be out there to guide you in a moment. "
within a minute the gates pulled back open and he could see someone walking towards him, he stepped several steps forwards until the two of them met.
"Come with me. Mr. Agreste will see you but only for a moment, he is a busy man."
Ah, this must have been his assistant. Nathalie, if he remembered correctly from when Adrien would take about his home.
The two of them stepped into the front door and Nino's hands shot into his jackets pockets and his hand fiddled with the bottle of bubble mix that was in there. He could feel Wayzz wiggling his way down his top and had to tense to not squirm in front of Nathalie.
Hqer head turned to him with one eyebrow raised but she didn't say anything.
"Nervous. Just a little."
She nodded before peering at her tablet before looking back up at him.
" Mr. Agreste will be here in a moment. "
Great... Just Great. He brought out his tube of bubble mix before unscrewing the cap, his hands fiddled with it as he waited, not spilling a drop.
Even though he knew they could most certainly afford to have to pay someone to clean it up.
Was it him or did the house feel cold?
"Adrien's not home yet." The sharp voice of the man of the house brought his attention to the top of the stairs, his hands freezing in place as he was dragged out of his thoughts.
He suppressed a shiver as he looked Mr. Agreste in the eye, he could feel no warmth coming from those eyes, not like what he saw when he looked in his mother's eyes.
Closing the cap of the tube he swallowed down his fear. "No I know du-Sir. I came to speak with you, actually."
" Me? " There was a shift in his posture that Nino couldn't place and the raise of an eyebrow that made him worry.
"Yes, I came to ask about giving Adrien a party du-Sir, it's his first birthday with some real friends and I think he really deserves to hav-"
" No. " Nino blinked at his cold voice, causing him to stop mid-sentence. "Adrien is my son, and I say what is best for him."
Somehow his eyes grew colder and Nino had to fight to not cringe away. None of the those present in the room noticed as Adrien slipped in behind them.
"Du-Sir. Adrien has been working really hard lately." Slowly Nino extending his fingers as he started his list. "Piano, Photo shoots, fencing, Chinese. I think it's only fair that he gets one day to enjoy himself. "
"Nino?" He turned to his side seeing Adrien next him. " You're here? "
Wrapping his arm around Adrien's shoulders he pulled him closer before before bumping his fist to his shoulder. "Of course, you're my buddy."
" You know what young man? " Looking back up the stairs Nino grew hopeful, maybe he had gotten through to him. "I've just decided that you're a bad influence on my son." Both boys eyes widened at that, Nino's hands tightening around his bubble tube. "In fact, you are no longer welcome in my house ever again, leave."
" Father. " Adrien called out, pulling away from Nino but Gabriel didn't listen as he turned and walked to his study, adjusting his tie as he went.
Nathalie stepped in front of Nino before he could try to follow. "Goodbye."
Eyes darting between between her and Adrien, he took a deep breath in before turning and walking out.
Adrien caught up to him after he was a few steps out and stopped him by placing a hand on his shoulder. "Nino, I'm sorry, my father is stubborn... Thanks for trying though. "
"Its not fair Adrien..." Nino struggled to form his words as he gestured to Adrien, as if he could convey his thoughts that way. "Its totally not cool dude. "
Pulling his strap up his shoulder he turned and stalked away, he could feel Wayzz moving up his jacket again and he simply tapped where he was gently.
-
Plopping himself down on the park bench he pulled out his tube of bubble before taking the wand out and blowing a few bubbles out into the air.
"That dude it straight up not cool."
He switched forwards before resting his elbows on his knees. Trying to regulate his breathing and calm himself down, it wouldn't do to stay in a bad mood.
"But dad!" His eyes shot up, landing on the child who was trying, and failing, to break out of his father's grip.
"No Son, it's not playtime, you've got chores to do." He watched as the boy was taken out of the park before blowing a sharp breath out of his nose.
"Why have parents got to ruin everything man?"
Feeling Wayzz moving around again he opened his jacket enough to let him pop his head out. He didn't want to make him feel like he was trapped, not in the way Adrien was.
"You agree with me right little dude?" He turned his head away as he shook it. " I mean, we're kids, we should be allowed to have fun and be ourselves. "
"While I agree, I must say kids need adults, to guide them through life." Nino didn't stop him from floating out of his jacket, just a little in front of him as he started to look around. "But please calm down, being angry won't solve anything."
"Maybe not but I'm just so... Ugh, " he kicked his leg out at the grass, watching as it bounced back into place with ease.
"Please. Master, copy me. Deep breaths, in and out, copy me."
Nino turned to him, missing the pleading expression Wayzz was giving him before he groaned and rubbed his hand down his face. "You don't need to call me that dude, it's not necessary."
Today had been going so great until now and he couldn't help but feel like it was his fault.
He jerked slightly as Wayzz thumped against his temple. " Nino. Akuma. " The words spoken in his ear caused his head to jerk up, eyes widening as they landed on the black butterfly that was making a direct path to him.
"Woah!" He threw himself off the bench, before backing away from the butterfly without letting it out of his sights.
Why was an Akuma after him? He had a miraculous. Didn't they grant him immunity to being akumatised?
He grunted as his foot hit a upsticking root of a tree and he fell flat on his butt. His eyes darted back and forth as he tried to find some way out of this situation, his arms pushed against the ground as he tried to back away.
"Think happy thoughts!" Wayzz fluttered around him, trying to be both encouraging and hidden. "It can't get you if you're happy."
Happy thoughts? What was his most recent happy thought? Seeing Adrien happy this morning? Maybe Marinette's smile? that made him happy.
He could tell it wasn't working as the Akuma grew closer, his eyes darted to the tube in his hand and he threw it at the butterfly without thinking. As it made contact it sunk into it, leaving it to go a horrid grey colour.
"Ohh... That was close dude. Sorry about that." He kept his eye on it as he fell back to lay down on his back, just in case it came out on his own.
Wayzz landed on his shoulder before patting his check. " it's my fault, I should have warned you sooner, you're not immune to the Akuma's, I should have told you. "
Rubbing his head, Nino gave a slight huff. "Not your fault, I shouldn't have assumed." He sat up pulled Wayzz into the crook of his neck and gave him a one handed hug. "What are we gonna do about that?"
"We need to get Ladybug, then we release the Akuma and she can purify it. Don't touch it. "
He nodded as he began to stand. Eyes looking around to find the closest place to transform. He didn't want to leave the Akuma unattended for long.
"No!" His attention was drawn to the centre of the park, the boy from earlier was back and it looked like he was out for round two.
He watched as the boy ducked and weaved around people, doing his best to avoid his father. It looked like he really intended to stay at the park for as long as he wanted.
Which, now that he was looking at it more calmly, didn't look as good as it did before. He Could just imagine himself and Chris in that situation... It wasn't good.
Feeling Wayzz tugging at his clothes he was about to turn away before he saw the kid catch sight of the tube of Bubble mix. His eyes widened as he saw the kid make a break for it, no doubt thinking it was nothing more then bubbles.
"No, Kid! Don't! " Despite trying to run to it first, he had thrown it a good distance and had neglected to move closer in case the Akuma sprung out of it.
He, unfortunately, wasn't fast enough as the kid had picked it up before he could stop him. Hawkmoths symbol appeared over his eyes and Nino could see the discoloration that occurred around his eyes.
"Kid!" he Stopped before him, hands hesitating to reach for the akumatised object, in case it somehow affect him too. " Don't listen to him kid, he won't help you. "
The boys father stopped not that far from him, seemingly hesitating to come closer. Nino grew hopeful when the boys eyes looked towards him and not spaced out, maybe he did get through to him.
"Yes... Hawkmoth." Oh Speakers, Hats and tables that was not good.
The dark bubbles clouded around him and Nino scrambled to get a few feet back. As the bubbles peeled away he caught sight of the Akuma's form. And... ugh, it was going to make him sick just looking at it.
The boy now looked like a cartoon character, his top half was a bright red colour while his arms where a solid black, small 'bubbles' were sat around his joints and his legs were the same. He looked entirely like he was made out of plastic.
"Jason?" His father seemed to snap out of his stupor, stepping closer to his son. Nino was torn between running off to transform and staying to try to convince him to hand him the Akuma.
The akuma, Jason, turned his head towards the man with a frown on his face. "My name's not Jason." Quick as anything the boy raised his wrist and Nino saw what looked like a water gun strapped to his wrist , a small tube lead back to a tube looked backpack on his back. "Its bubble boy!"
In an instant a large bubble shot out and captured the man within it, turning it from its original purple to a sharp green, as the man floated up Nino decided that was his moment to finally get away.
-
The sound of an explosion caused Marinette to stumble off her chair with a scream, her dinner going flying, her mother jumped from the noise too.
scrambling to the window she could see both Carapace and an Akuma fighting it out.
"I... ugh, I'm going to my room! To hide!" Marinette scrambled up to her room, not giving her mother a second glance. Said woman stared after her daughter in confusion before closing the shutters on the window, just to be safe.
-
Carapace dodged to the side as another burst of bubbles shot past him, the park had long since vacated she to the Akuma and now it was just him and said Akuma.
"Listen to me kid! This isn't the way. This isn't solving anything, just causing more problems."
The akuma screamed at him, much in the same was all kids did when they were angry before pointing his bubble gum at him. "It's bubble boy! And I say it's playtime, Forever! "
Bubble boy fired off three massive bubbles towards him, two red and one purple. He knew he could deflect the red ones but he also couldn't touch the purple one without getting caught in it. He also would have time to deflect the red ones of he avoided the purple one.
He was about to cast Shell-ter when he felt something wrap around his torso. He was quickly yanked up and over the Akuma, at the peak of his impromptu swing he caught ladybugs eyes from where she was flying before he landed to a skidding halt well behind the Akuma.
"Just as a serious question. Is this going to become a regular thing with you? "
Fluttering down next to him, Ladybug let her yo-yo hang limply. "You're my partner, of course I'm going to protect you."
"Yeah, but that's my job." He muttered quietly before taking his shield off his back and holding it in front of him. " Be careful of his bubbles, red explodes, purple captures you and they're unbreakable. He's already sent someone high up with one. Akuma's either in the bubble gun or in the backpack. "
"Right," She nodded, eyes squinting at the Akuma . "Then let's get this done before I'm missed."
Spinning her Yo-Yo into the air she called out- "Lucky Charm!" - The ladybugs swarmed around each other into the air and came together to form A- "Skipping rope? How's this going to help?"
"He did say that he wanted playtime to last forever."
Ladybug nodded as she looked around, her nose scrunched up in thought. " Right I got it, " She tossed one end of the rope to him, which he caught. "You ever tie yourself up?"
Catching her meaning he nodded before he brought up his shield, the rope handle in his other hand. "Right, ready?" Receiving a nod he ran forwards, Ladybug floating just behind him.
"You won't stop me!" Bubble Boy raised his hand at them, a large red bubble forming at the end of the bubble gun. "It will be Playtime!" He launched the Bubble and it shot towards them with speed.
"Shell-ter! " A small semi-circular shield formed around his shield, protecting their front halves and allowed them to keep moving without removing it.
The bubble hit dead on, causing it to explode against it, the force caused his arm to real back. Instead of fighting against it he let himself be spun, throwing the shield once he was fully turned around again.
it flew through the air until it sailed right past the kids head, causing him to flinch in surprise.
Taking advantage of the momentary distraction Carapace slid to the boys left while Ladybug flew past his right, as soon as both of them passed by his shoulders they turned to loop behind him.
Carapace ended up on his right, while Ladybug was on this left, the skipping rope was looped around his chest and arms, loose.
"Now!" Both of them pulled, tightening the rope just enough to pin his arms down. Slowly Carapace wrapped his side of the rope around his arm as he moved closer.
Grabbing the Akumatised object he carefully removed it from the boy before violently tossing it towards his returning shield, where it shattered on impact and released the butterfly within. Ladybug released her end of the rope to capture it and purify it.
Carapace relaxed slightly as the boy when more limp in his arms as his Akuma form was stripped away from him. He carefully pulled the skipping rope away before throwing it to Ladybug And pointing upwards. The boys father was still up there after all.
"Miraculous Ladybug!"
There wasn't nearly as many magical Ladybugs as before, given the lack of damage, but Nino knew he would never tire of seeing them swarm the area.
"Jason!" And there was the boys father, Nino released the boy and both of them collided into each other in a hug. He couldn't help but smile at the sight. What had he been thinking when he was groaning about the adults earlier?
The ringing of their miraculous brought him out of his trance and he turned to Ladybug as she began to hover slightly. "Not to charm and dash but I've gotta go."
" Bug wait! " He reached out and grabbed her wrost, stopping her from flying away for just a moment. "We need to talk."
Oblivious to Ladybugs face growing darker he looked to the father son duo as she began to talk. "Now's not a good time Cara, our timers."
" I know," as if to punctuate her point their miraculous beeped again. "Eiffle tower, Tonight, ten thirty, yeah?"
Carapace was so caught up in organizing what he was going to say that he missed Ladybugs dreamy sigh. " Yeah... ok... " Snapping out of it Ladybug shook her head. "I mean, yeah sure, Ten thirty, not a second late."
Nodding Nino let her go, watching as she fluttered away, chuckling as she looped in the air. Flashing the duo a peace sign he made his own quick exit.
-
Adrien's birthday might have been a bust but he had learned several important things today and Ladybug needed to know about them.
Which is why he found himself waiting on the top of the Eiffel tower, far above where anyone else could even reach. He didn't mind the height, despite how it was a little difficult to actually get up there for him but they needed the privacy.
Especially since what he was going to talk about was not something he wanted any civilian to hear. Lest he cause a little bit of a panic.
He was a little nervous about bringing it up to Ladybug, given that the Akuma was originally after him and he couldn't quite say that without worrying Ladybug and/or revealing who he was. Both of those things were bad in their own right.
The heavy thump of feet hitting metal caused him to spin around, meeting Ladybugs eyes with a nod. "Sorry I'm a little late, didn't want to get caught sneaking out."
Nino chuckled as he shook his head. " Oh, I know that feeling. The paranoia that you're being watched, your heart racing like it's beating its last. I know it well. "
"Sneak out a lot then?" Nino couldn't quite place the look that was in her eyes but he got the impression that she was... Impressed? Or maybe evaluating something about him.
"Not a lot, but sometimes I just needed some air and a walk around, you know?"
She shrugged, her wings fluttering behind her, despite being on the ground. "I guess, sometimes I need new stimuli to be able to work on some of my projects. "
He nodded and the two fell into a sort of awkward silence, he offered with his hands, finger brushing over his miraculous as Ladybug swayed side to side slightly.
"So?..."
"I learned something today, a few things actually." Slowly Nino moved to the centre beam that stuck up the middle, before hitting his back against it and skidding down till he was sat down.
"We're not immune to the Akuma's bug. " Unknown to him, his words had ripped Ladybug out of her hypothetical daydream of Carapace confessing to her atop the tower.
Thoughts on having a hamster on hold she moved closer before kneeling down in front of him. "What do you mean? "
"Earlier, with the akuma," when he got a nod from her he continued. "The boy, he wasn't the original target for the Akuma." Seeing Ladybug about to open her mouth he held up his hand to signal that he wished to finish .
"There was this other boy, had these sick headphones styled after me, he was upset..." He completely missed the way how Ladybugs eyes widened in surprise, he had not way of knowing that she knew his civilian self. "Or mad, I dunno. "
"Point is, it went for him and he threw... Whatever the item was and it absorbed the Akuma but didn't turn him." He took a breath in as he pulled one of his knees closer. " The boy picked it up, became the Akuma. "
"Oh..." Ladybugs eyes darted around for a moment before she moved and sat next to him, their shoulders touching. "So we can trap Akuma's?"
" As long as no-one touches the item and we somehow get you there to purify it quickly. "
"Ok?..." Ladybug twisted her hand in a Thoughtful manner. " So, how does all that connect to us not being immune? "
"I made an offhand comment to Wayzz, about being glad we were immune. He said we weren't, that Akuma can come for us and we need to be careful."
He shivered as he remembered how close that Akuma had come to him, never again. Noticing the far off look in ladybugs eyes he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and bumped their shoulders together.
His missed as her face began to go the same shade as her suit, hands shaking slightly from the surprise contact. "Don't worry about it too much Bug. Just ask your Kwami to help you find your happy place, that should do it."
" Yeah... ok... "
Despite it all, Marinette couldn't stop herself from looking at Carapace in slight awe. She leaned into his hold, glad to be able to take advantage of this moment, even if it wouldn't last.

🖤 I See My Future Before Me 🖤
***
It was the happiest moment of my life. The moment we spoke our vows, the promise of our unending love, the feeling when he slipped the ring on my finger, and that time when we kissed,…
… it was as if the universe conspired to make everything perfect for the two of us as husband and wife.
But, that was a year ago. Despite our efforts, we could not help but be crestfallen for the thing we desired the most but could not gain - offspring.
We consulted every possible expert we could think of but, it seemed that it really was impossible for me to conceive. And one day, we just,… stopped trying. I knew there was something wrong with me, and I could never deny it.
But, my husband, despite this condition of mine, stayed with me and remained patient and understanding. He never gave up on me and never once left me. He gave me all the love that he could, despite the fact that I was unworthy of it to begin with.
No, he never thought of me as unworthy. Never.
Then, one day, he gave me the most wonderful gift in the world. Gifts, in the form of three very different, yet precious, little girls who stood before me that one morning during my birthday.
He called them Galatea, Andromeda, and Cassandra. They were the three sisters of fate - The Bearer of The Past, The Protector of The Present, and The Aspect of The Future. The three loyal Muses that served him and guarded him.
Despite them not being human, and also not Demonic, in nature, they do mimic everything that normal little girls do. They play, sing, dance, they ask for bedtime stories, they yearn for love. And they were the most beautiful beings in all of existence.
They were,… perfect.
From that day onward, they have become my three darling daughters who stayed with me at all times, protecting us and making us whole and happy,…

“Talk about a fine line between love and hate.
We’ve lost more than our direction of late.
Talk about a fine line between lovers and friends.
We’ve never been lovers now we’re not even friends.
In this invisible war, it seems we’re waging an invisible war.
Everyday I seem to lose you more in this invisible war.
Wounded deeply the scar is here to stay,
Opening up the little things I do or say.
You always want things to be as before.
So I make you angry and you bleed a little more.
In this invisible war, it seems we’re waging an invisible war.
Strained maneuvers keeping silent score in this invisible war.”
“Where is V?” You asked Nico for the third time that day.
Instead of saying that she didn’t know, the freckled woman sighed. “Is there something wrong, hon?” She inquired as she repaired one of Nero’s Breakers.
“Ah, nothing.” You let out with a dejected sigh.
“You sure?”
You nodded.
“Whatever you say,… ”
It was a really cold and cloudy day. Nero was snoring loudly on the sofa, Nico was doing some more Breakers for him to kill time, V was, indeed, nowhere to be found,…
… and you?
Ever since that strange encounter you had with him earlier, you couldn’t help but feel unnerved. It’s like a part of him drastically changed the moment he went back from his talk with Fleminger. You so wanted to ask him what’s bothering him, to comfort him and to offer a shoulder to lean on.
But, the fact that you just saw him got hurt with something unknown? It was like watchig a loved one suffer from the other side with bars separating them, making it impossible for one to reach the other. And it really took a toll on your sensitive emotions.
You just couldn’t stop thinking and worrying about him. And it awfully hurt not to see the usual V you have grown to admire and adore.
Silly, yes. But, you missed him so much,…
And the sad song on the radio was really not helping with your current situation, at all!
Nico noticed your behavior and cleared her throat, which successfully gained your undivided attention.
“If you’re just gonna grumble all day, then we might as well try out my new invention.”
“What’s your new invention?”
The Artisan at Arms proudly smiled and crossed her arms.
“Oh, you’ll see what I’m talkin’ about.” She gloated with a wink.
A few hours later, the two of you arrived at the farthest and most abandoned site in the city away from Fleminger’s mansion.
Nico dropped her huge rucksack on the ground and took out several pieces of unflattering clothing from it.
“What are these?” You curiously asked as she handed them to you.
“Those are special clothes made from a very durable and expandable fabric that absorbs extreme heat and pressure. I was developing it a week before this whole fiasco began.”
“And this is for me?”
“Of course!” Nico answered, crossing her arms and looking very proud. “You can’t burst out of your clothes every time you transform into that thing! We need to innovate! And we,… ” she took out a video camera from the rucksack, turned it on, and focused it at you. “… are going to test that right now.”
Staring at the woman, clueless, you muttered, “Ah, so I have to change now?”
“Of course, dummy! And make it quick!”
After scrambling to a secluded, hidden place to change, you came out wearing Nico’s invention looking like a huge walking fashion faux pas.
“Is this it?” You questioned, looking at the huge sleeves of the gray jumpsuit - like outfit that was several sizes too large for you.
“Pretty much, yeah.” Nico answered as she settled her video cam on a tripod. She took a peak at it and waved her arms. “Hey, uh, I need you to move farther away.”
You took a few steps away from Nico. “Like this?”
“Honey, I mean, further, further away. I don’t want to get disintegrated!”
“Fine,…”
You walked several feet away from Nico, trying to measure just how much the impact of your transformation would make, and when you faced her once more, she finally gave you a thumbs up.
“Okay! I need you to transform on the count of three!”
“Alright!”
“Whenever you’re ready!”
“I’ am!”
“Alright, then! ONE, TWO, THREE!”
You called the entity’s name, summoning it, and when you felt its presence, it instantly took over your body, enveloping you with that blinding light and disintegrating everything within your immediate vicinity.
“Never gets old, (Y/N).” Nico said, whistling as she captured your mind - blowing transformation on camera. “Never gets old.”
The entity hovered for a moment, waiting for a command, until Nico finally gave it.
“Alright, hon! You can go back now!”
The seven - foot creature spread its arms, enveloping itself once more with light. And after a few heart - stopping moments later, you changed back to your original form,…
… butt - naked from head to foot.
And from the moment you realized how exposed you are, you gasped in fright, covered your private parts, then hustled back to that secluded place where you’ve been before to put on clothes.
A few minutes later, you were back, horrified to see Nico laughing non - stop,…
… and the camera still recording!
“Are you really my friend, or not?!” You shrieked at the woman, not caring in the least that your movements were being documented.
“Dude, chill! I need this for documentation!”
“Of your crappy invention?!”
“Hey! It’s a - HAHA - work of - HAHA - art!”
“Ugh, SHUT UP!”
Despite your complaints, you were back to where you transformed, wearing another one of Nico’s inventions but, this time - in the form of a school uniform.
“What,… IS THIS?!” You yelled at the woman, disgusted at how extremely short the skirt was.
“Uhh, never mind that!” Nico, who was fortunate that she was far away from you and, therefore, could not be seen sweating, answered nervously. “Another round!”
You sighed, shook your hands, took a deep breath, and morphed once more into the entity.
And, once more, Nico recorded it, along with how you morphed back, and how you were naked again.
“THIS IS NOT WORKING!” You shrieked like a depressed banshee as you made your way towards your hiding place to put on clothes.
“You’re almost there!” Nico reassured you a few moments later as she recorded you once more, this time with you wearing what looked like a risqué pop idol cosplay. “Don’t worry! You look hella cute!”
“Just get on with it!”
And so, you transformed once more, went back,…
“THIS IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE!” You angrily shrieked, this time not even bothering to run away to get dressed. You just strode angrily towards Nico, who was still filming you in all your naked glory. “And why do you have to film me getting myself naked? You’re planning something, aren’t you?!”
Nico laughed nervously, her sweat instantly giving her away. “What do you mean by that?! I’m so not going to let V see this!”
“UGH!” You let your frustration out as you face palmed. Of course, she’s planning to let V see all this!
However, at the mention of the poet’s name, you heard a noise coming from somewhere not far away. Nico stopped panic explaining as soon as she saw you getting your guard up.
You swore that whoever’s watching you, they would not get out of this alive. Not when you’ve exposed yourself over and over.
You took simple, wary steps to your left.
“Hey, Nico,” you began. “I think I left something at the van.”
“What’s that?” The woman played along, knowing your plan by instinct.
“V’s jacket! I remember he told me to mend it,…”
And surely enough, the two of you heard the noise once more. It sounded like,… a squawk?
Your eyes widened. You gave Nico a subtle nod and made a quick dive behind one of the boulders.
There was a struggle, a lot of noises and curses, and a few agonizing minutes later, you finally came out, dragging a blue demonic bird by its beak.
“MHMH! MHMH! MMHHMMHH!” Griffon yelled through his muffled beak.
“Ohoho, so the little chickee really wants to be cooked in a steel pot, after all!” Nico taunted, making the bird struggle even more, to no avail.
“BRING OUT THE STEEL POT!” You madly boomed, not letting go of Griffon’s beak. “I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THIS BIRD IS BREWING UP!”
“MMMHHHMMM! NNNYYYEEERRRHHHGGG!” The bird panicked once more but, this time, he was able to let out a weak electrical current, enough for you to let him go.
“FUCK! FUCK! FFFUUUCCCKKK! I THOUGHT I’M DONE FOR!” Griffon squawked, flying just a few inches above your head. “WHAT’S YER PROBLEM, WOMAN?! YE TRYNA KILL ME BY COVERIN’ MA NOSE?!”
“Ah,…” you stuttered but, then, remembered that you wouldn’t do such a thing to him if he didn’t start anything in the first place. “YOU CAN’T BLAME ME! You know, all you need to do is ask and I’ll definitely allow you to come along,…”
“Wait, don’t tell me Chickee here knows the secret?!” Nico exclaimed, pointing at you and Griffon.
After a minute or so of explanation on how Griffon came to know your secret, Nico nodded knowingly, finally accepting the fact that the bird was now in on all your secrets from that fateful day onward.
“So, let me get this straight, Chickee knows the secret but, V doesn’t?” Nico questioned.
“Y - yeah,… ?” The bird hesitantly answered.
“WHAT’S THAT? YOU TOLD V, DIDN’T YOU?!” You yelled at the bird as you grabbed his wings.
“NO! NO! I SWEAR BY MA OWN FEATHERS! SHAKESPEARE DOESN’T KNOW A SINGLE THING! I SWEAR! I SWEAR! DON’T MURDER ME WOMAN, I BEG YOU!”
“He’s telling the truth.” You finally admitted as you let him go.
“WAIT!” Nico, who seemed to not let go of the issue just yet, stopped you. “If you’re here, then V is here, too!”
Griffon’s eyes widened. “Hehe, well,…”
“AHH!” You shrieked in embarrassment as you covered your parts and literally collapsed on the ground, feeling your body heat up.
“HAHAHA! WAHAHAHA! LOOK AT YA! WAHAHA! WAHA - !”
Now, it was Nico’s turn to grab the demonic bird by his beak.
“Keep messin’ with us, and you’ll really have to say bye bye to your pretty little Shakespeare!”
“SQUAWK!”
After a few more threats to the poor bird, you three had finally managed to settle down. You, now fully dressed and officially through with Nico’s experiments, were taking a nap, leaning against the wall inside the abandoned building. The freckled woman was putting the camera back to her rucksack,…
… and Griffon? It was safe to say that the bird has started sniffing you for some unknown reason. Your friend noticed this and called his attention.
“Hey! I know that’s a chick you’re sniffin’ there but, ya just can’t do that without V’s permission. He’ll get real mad!” Nico mumbled in a whisper to avoid waking you up.
“Ah! Haha! Well, tryna sniff some bugs out,…” Griffon nervously lied, then whispered, more to himself, “That’s weird, I can’t smell anythin’!”
“I heard that!” Nico retorted as she quickly made her way towards you and him to shelter herself from the impending rain.
“Can’t ya smell anythin’ weird about her?”
“Weird? You mean bad odor, or - ?”
“Not bad odor!” Griffon shrieked.
“Sshh!”
“Oh, sorry.”
Nico raised an eyebrow as she sat next to you and wrapped her arms around her knees for added warmth. It really was getting a bit colder.
“You’ve been actin’ weird. Especially that Shakespeare dude! Where’s V, huh? And you better start tellin’ me the truth.”
“He’s,… ah,… somewhere! Yeah, somewhere,… ”
“Really?”
“Well, I can’t really tell ya! Just know that he’s out there but, not close here, yeah?”
“Whatever.” Nico said, rolling her eyes. She pushed the rim of her red - framed glasses closer to her nose bridge and went on interrogating the bird. “And what do ya mean by that odor?”
If birds could sweat, Griffon could probably produce buckets by now. Fortunately, it was slightly hard to see through his real emotions due to his brash nature.
After all, Nico would surely suspect something if he told her that V sent him to spy on you.
And for what reason?
V actually didn’t fully believe everything that Fleminger person told him. He said to him the exact opposite of what he truly believed in, and, confused to the core he may be, he wanted to make sure if the guy was telling the truth, or not. He just couldn’t do the spying, himself, as of the moment. It just felt wrong to do it to a lady such as you.
After all, he did come to adore you despite the really short time you’ve been together. And he’s not letting anyone ruin that.
Not now when,…
So, he wanted to make sure by first sending Griffon to you. If the demonic avian failed to produce results, then he’d be the one who will do the interrogation, himself but, only as a last resort.
He would never believe that YOU were the Dreadnought, and he’s willing to prove it so that he could slap that hard truth to Fleminger’s face. Along with Shadow’s scratches to boot.
The only problem was, he didn’t know that you were hiding secrets from him, yourself. That alone was truly suspicious, and Griffon knew all that. The Demon just opted not to tell V that, for he had also learned to love you as a friend after the Malphas event. You’ve been a really good person and a protector to him, and he, like V, hoped that Fleminger was wrong about you.
“Hey!” Nico said, snapping her fingers to get Griffon’s attention.
“What?!”
“The odor? I was asking about (Y/N)’s odor.”
Ah, crap, Griffon thought. Should I let this woman know?! She’s her friend! She could easily tell whether (Y/N)’s the fuckin’ Dreadnought or not!
“Well! I, uh,…”
“Speaking of which,” Nico interrupted, much to the bird’s rotten luck. Or, was it? “… Nero has been bugging me with this non - existent apple pie he’s been sniffin’ round about three days ago. I mean, I can’t even bake. But, if it’s Kyrie then - !”
“If the pimple kid’s a Demon, then that makes total sense! I - ” Griffon blurted out without even thinking, making the woman stare at him in disbelief. He gulped audibly, his nerves getting the better of him. “Ah, oops?”
Nico raised an eyebrow in suspicion. “And what does that supposed to mean?”
“Ah, what?”
“THAT?!”
“AH! AAHH! NNRRGGHH!” Griffon squawked and started flapping his wings wildly in panic.
“HEY! I’M ONLY ASKING A QUESTION!” Nico said in an effort to make the bird calm down. “Unless,… ” she stood up and pointed a tattooed finger at him. “… YOU’RE REALLY HIDING SOMETHING FROM US!”
“WWWHHHAAAKKK! QQQUUUAAAWWW!”
Griffon was moving too much that he accidentally scratched your arm in accident.
“DUMBASS!” Nico grabbed the bird’s talons, taking them away from you. “LOOK WHAT YOU’VE DONE!”
“G - guys,… ” You muttered, finally waking up due to the noise and the sudden pain in your arm. “What’s happening?”
“It’s the chicken’s fault!” Nico shrieked, shaking the bird in annoyance.
You gave them a confused look, then glanced at the now bloody wound on your arm. You shook your head in disbelief.
“Do not be too hard on the creature. I will heal.” You tiredly responded, standing up and making your way outside despite the rain.
“Hon, it’s still raining.” Nico pleaded as she finally let Griffon go.
“It matters not.” You answered monotonously. “This body would soon perish, after all,…”
“Come again?”
It took both Nico and Griffon a few seconds to realize that your voice sounded different, the way you moved looked suspicious,…
… and your eyes seemed a different shade,…
“(Y/N), is that you?” Nico asked, wary of her own movements.
“That is the name of our vessel.” You answered, further confirming that you were taken over by the entity in a space of only a few moments right after waking up.
“Our?” Griffon added. “What do ya mean by that, sweet pea?”
“Feeble minds would never be able to comprehend the meaning of our existence. Humans and Demons alike perceived us as one.” You glanced back at them, only for them to see that you have completely changed your appearance.
To Nico and Griffon, you now looked like a tall and slender woman with beautiful dark skin and equally dark and abundant hair. Your large, mournful eyes shone brightly and looked upon them with such enigma that none of them dared to utter a word.
“We are one. However, at the same time, we are three. I’ am the Aspect of The Future.” You, or the entity, made yourself known. “I’ am here in this crucial moment to partake of a vital information from the near future.”
“Future?” Nico bravely asked whilst Griffon remained silent. “You have a prediction for us?”
The entity, or The Aspect of The Future, bowed her regal head.
“In four days time, two hearts would be ripped open, blood shall be spilled, and emotions will clash upon uneven ground. A Prince will awaken and a King shall rise. The Pale Ones would make their move and engulf the whole world in darkness. Only then would the third and final heart, the one who would regret the most, be stabbed by their own doing.”
“That sounds,… cheerful,…” Nico added sarcastically to somehow lighten the mood. She might have poked fun at you for changing into that light being who can disintegrate your clothes but, she just couldn’t make fun of this particular entity who made unfunny prophecies.
Griffon flew towards the entity before Nico could even stop him.
“You said something before about crying and kneeling, and whatever that was.” The demonic bird questioned. “What’s up with that? Another twisted plot on a fuckin’ t.v. show?!”
“My answer remains the same.” The entity answered calmly. “At the final hours of the evening and the last radiance of the wounded moon, the past will weep, the present will kneel, and the future will die.”
“The future will die?” Nico cut in. “Is that what you mean by your body perishing soon?”
But, the entity did not answer. Instead, she went past Griffon and made her way towards the woman.
“Would you weep, human?”
“Uh, it depends,…” Nico simply answered. It’s the plain truth! Why would she cry at the prophet’s death?
“You are strong and vigilant. Remain as such until the promised hour.” The entity answered, then went back towards Griffon.
“Ahh, ya have somethin’ for me?” Griffon asked.
“Remain true to your instincts.” The entity told him. “Even in the face of true danger.”
“Okay,… WHAT?!”
The entity nodded, then faced away from them, glancing at the depressing weather outside. Nico, who was curious to know more, followed suit.
“Why are you telling us all this? Isn’t the future kind of forbidden to tell? And why show yourself now? Because the world is ending and some shit?”
“And so, you believed me?”
“Well, yeah! I believed in my friend, and her power comes from you! Of course, I believe you.”
“Such innocence,…” the entity simply stated, then released a sound that sounded strangely like a chuckle. “There was a time when I was stoned by my own people for warning them of such dangers. No one believed me, and that is my eternal curse. A curse for turning away a powerful lover. He gave me this power.”
“No one’s stoning you here.” Griffon said, joining the two. “That’s just barbaric.”
“Is there a way to prevent all this bad stuff from happening?” Nico finally asked, positively itching to know the solution. Well, there must be! “Like a plan B, or somethin’?”
“There is no alternative. Everything I told you is inevitable.”
“So, that’s it, huh? All of us will fuckin’ die?” Griffon slightly yelled at the entity for being so pessimistic.
She looked at him and gave him a meaningful glance. “There is,… an alternative.”
Griffon and Nico’s eyes widened as they looked at each other in utter surprise.
“And it all depends on one.” The entity finished.
“One what?!” Both Nico and Griffon questioned, to which they were just ignored as the entity glanced back at the weather outside.
“By then, the past shall still weep but, not for long, the present shall forever kneel but, the future,… may no longer die. That is,… a nice thought. If only,…”
“If only,… ?” Nico asked in an attempt to keep the entity talking.
However, the strange creature remained silent as she watched every single drop of the rain.
“It has been,… a long time since I watched the rain.” She quietly said, her voice as gentle and calm as possible. “It is so calm, so peaceful. A fitting start to an end.”
Nico sighed. They never truly heard something positive from her other than her proposed plan B, which was still very vague, much to their distaste.
“I’m afraid I’m keeping your friend.” The entity told them. “I must go, for her strength must be replenished.”
“WAIT!”
Both the entity and Nico looked at Griffon, surprised at what he just blurted out.
“Speak, creature of the night.”
“I, ahh,…” Griffon began, unsure how to bring up the Dreadnought issue. “I just wanna know, is,… is (Y/N) an, ah, err, an,… ah, how to say this?”
“Just spit it out, Chickee!” Nico blurted out, crossing her arms once more.
“Is (Y/N) an enemy? I just wanna know.” And just like that, the words were finally out from him like removing a thorn piercing his heart.
“ENEMY?! WHAT ARE YOU - ?!”
“I see.” The entity said. All of a sudden, her body was engulfed with light, like she was catching on fire. “It entirely depends,… on the beholder.”
And with those final words, the entity vanished, leaving behind her vessel.
Your eyes were closed shut, and when you finally opened them, you were surprised to see both Nico and Griffon staring at you with open mouths.
“Did I just do something weird?” You asked them, which made them convinced that you did not remember everything that just happened.
“No!” Nico answered with a nervous laugh.
“That’s it! I just gotta tell V that she’s not an enemy, right?!” Griffon said to himself, entirely forgetting that you and Nico could totally hear him.
“What are you talking about?” You asked him.
“Ah! Nothin’ ! Gotta go!”
“Wait!”
And, just like that, the demonic bird flew away, his strange words and behavior making him even more suspicious.

🖤 I See My Future Before Me 🖤

***
It was the happiest moment of my life. The moment we spoke our vows, the promise of our unending love, the feeling when he slipped the ring on my finger, and that time when we kissed,...
... it was as if the universe conspired to make everything perfect for the two of us as husband and wife.
But, that was a year ago. Despite our efforts, we could not help but be crestfallen for the thing we desired the most but could not gain - offspring.
We consulted every possible expert we could think of but, it seemed that it really was impossible for me to conceive. And one day, we just,... stopped trying.
They were,... perfect.
From that day onward, they have become my three darling daughters who stayed with me at all times, protecting us and making us whole and happy,...

"Talk about a fine line between love and hate.
We've lost more than our direction of late.
Talk about a fine line between lovers and friends.
We've never been lovers now we're not even friends.
In this invisible war, it seems we're waging an invisible war.
Everyday I seem to lose you more in this invisible war.
Wounded deeply the scar is here to stay,
Opening up the little things I do or say.
You always want things to be as before.
So I make you angry and you bleed a little more.
In this invisible war, it seems we're waging an invisible war.
Strained maneuvers keeping silent score in this invisible war."
"Where is V?" You asked Nico for the third time that day.
Instead of saying that she didn't know, the freckled woman sighed. "Is there something wrong, hon?" She inquired as she repaired one of Nero's Breakers.
"Ah, nothing." You let out with a dejected sigh.
"You sure?"
You nodded.
"Whatever you say,... "
It was a really cold and cloudy day. Nero was snoring loudly on the sofa, Nico was doing some more Breakers for him to kill time, V was, indeed, nowhere to be found,...
... and you?
Ever since that strange encounter you had with him earlier, you couldn't help but feel unnerved. It's like a part of him drastically changed the moment he went back from his talk with Fleminger. You so wanted to ask him what's bothering him, to comfort him and to offer a shoulder to lean on.
But, the fact that you just saw him got hurt with something unknown? It was like watchig a loved one suffer from the other side with bars separating them, making it impossible for one to reach the other. And it really took a toll on your sensitive emotions.
You just couldn't stop thinking and worrying about him. And it awfully hurt not to see the usual V you have grown to admire and adore.
Silly, yes. But, you missed him so much,...
And the sad song on the radio was really not helping with your current situation, at all!
Nico noticed your behavior and cleared her throat, which succesfully gained your undivided attention.
"If you're just gonna grumble all day, then we might as well try out my new invention."
"What's your new invention?"
The Artisan at Arms proudly smiled and crossed her arms.
"Oh, you'll see what I'm talkin' about." She gloated with a wink.
A few hours later, the two of you arrived at the farthest and most abandoned site in the city away from Fleminger's mansion.
Nico dropped her huge rucksack on the ground and took out several pieces of unflattering clothing from it.
"What are these?" You curiously asked as she handed them to you.
"Those are special clothes made from a very durable and expandable fabric that absorbs extreme heat and pressure. I was developing it a week before this whole fiasco began."
"And this is for me?"
"Of course!" Nico answered, crossing her arms and looking very proud. "You can't burst out of your clothes every time you transform into that thing! We need to innovate! And we,... ... and Griffon? It was safe to say that the bird has started sniffing you for some unknown reason. Your friend noticed this and called his attention.
"Hey! I know that's a chick you're sniffin' there but, ya just can't do that without V's permission. He'll get real mad!" Nico mumbled in a whisper to avoid waking you up.
"Ah! Haha! Well, tryna sniff some bugs out,..." Griffon nervously lied, then whispered, more to himself, "That's weird, I can't smell anythin'!"
"I heard that!" Nico retorted as she quickly made her way towards you and him to shelter herself from the impending rain.
"Can't ya smell anythin' weird about her?"
"Weird? You mean bad odor, or - ?"
"Not bad odor!" Griffon shrieked.
"Sshh!"
"Oh, sorry."
Nico raised an eyebrow as she sat next to you and wrapped her arms around her knees for added warmth. It really was getting a bit colder.
"You've been actin' weird. Especially that Shakespeare dude! Where's V, huh? And you better start tellin' me the truth."
"He's,... ah,... somewhere! Yeah, somewhere,... "
"Really?"
"Well, I can't really tell ya! Just know that he's out there but, not close here, yeah?"
"Whatever." Nico said, rolling her eyes. She pushed the rim of her red - framed glasses closer to her nose bridge and went on interrogating the bird. "And what do ya mean by that odor?"
If birds could sweat, Griffon could probably produce buckets by now. Fortunately, it was slightly hard to see through his real emotions due to his brash nature.
After all, Nico would surely suspect something if he told her that V sent him to spy on you.
And for what reason?
V actually didn't fully believe everything that Fleminger person told him. He said to him the exact opposite of what he truly believed in, and, confused to the core he may be, he wanted to make sure if the guy was telling the truth, or not. He just couldn't do the spying, himself, as of the moment. It just felt wrong to do it to a lady such as you.
After all, he did come to adore you despite the really short time you've been together. And he's not letting anyone ruin that.
Not now when,...
So, he wanted to make sure by first sending Griffon to you. If the demonic avian failed to produce results, then he'd be the one who will do the interrogation, himself but, only as a last resort.
He would never believe that YOU were the Dreadnought, and he's willing to prove it so that he could slap that hard truth to Fleminger's face. Along with Shadow's scratches to boot.
The only problem was, he didn't know that you were hiding secrets from him, yourself. That alone was truly suspicious, and Griffon knew all that. The Demon just opted not to tell V that, for he had also learned to love you as a friend after the Malphas event. You've been a really good person and a protector to him, and he, like V, hoped that Fleminger was wrong about you.
"Hey!" Nico said, snapping her fingers to get Griffon's attention.
"What?!"
"The odor? I was asking about (Y/N)'s odor."
Ah, crap, Griffon thought. Should I let this woman know?! She's her friend! She could easily tell whether (Y/N)'s the fuckin' Dreadnought or not!
"Well! I, uh,..."
"Speaking of which," Nico interrupted, much to the bird's rotten luck. Or, was it? "... Nero has been bugging me with this non - existent apple pie he's been sniffin' round about three days ago. I mean, I can't even bake. But, if it's Kyrie then - !"
"If the pimple kid's a Demon, then that makes total sense! I - " Griffon blurted out without even thinking, making the woman stare at him in disbelief. He gulped audibly, his nerves getting the better of him. "Ah, oops?"
Nico raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "And what does that supposed to mean?"
"Ah, what?"
"THAT?!"
"AH! AAHH! NNRRGGHH!" Griffon squawked and started flapping his wings wildly in panic.
"HEY! I'M ONLY ASKING A QUESTION!" Nico said in an effort to make the bird calm down. "Unless,... " she stood up and pointed a tattooed finger at him. "... YOU'RE REALLY HIDING SOMETHING FROM US!"
"WWWHHHAAAKKK! QQQUUUAAAWWW!"
Griffon was moving too much that he accidentally scratched your arm in accident.
"DUMBASS!" Nico grabbed the bird's talons, taking them away from you. "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE!"
"G - guys,... " You muttered, finally waking up due to the noise and the sudden pain in your arm. "What's happening?"
"It's the chicken's fault!" Nico shrieked, shaking the bird in annoyance.
You gave them a confused look, then glanced at the now bloody wound on your arm. You shook your head in disbelief.
"Do not be too hard on the creature. I will heal." You tiredly responded, standing up and making your way outside despite the rain.
"Hon, it's still raining." Nico pleaded as she finally let Griffon go.
"It matters not." You answered monotonously. "This body would soon perish, after all,..."
"Come again?"
It took both Nico and Griffon a few seconds to realize that your voice sounded different, the way you moved looked suspicious,...
... and your eyes seemed a different shade,...
"(Y/N), is that you?" Nico asked, wary of her own movements.
"That is the name of our vessel." You answered, further confirming that you were taken over by the entity in a space of only a few moments right after waking up.
"Our?" Griffon added. "What do ya mean by that, sweet pea?"
"Feeble minds would never be able to comprehend the meaning of our existence. Humans and Demons alike perceived us as one." You glanced back at them, only for them to see that you have completely changed your appearance.
To Nico and Griffon, you now looked like a tall and slender woman with beautiful dark skin and equally dark and abundant hair. Your large, mournful eyes shone brightly and looked upon them with such enigma that none of them dared to utter a word.
"We are one. However, at the same time, we are three. I' am the Aspect of The Future." You, or the entity, made yourself known. "I' am here in this crucial moment to partake of a vital information from the near future."
"Future?" Nico bravely asked whilst Griffon remained silent. "You have a prediction for us?"
The entity, or The Aspect of The Future, bowed her regal head.
"In four days time, two hearts would be ripped open, blood shall be spilled, and emotions will clash upon uneven ground. A Prince will awaken and a King shall rise. The Pale Ones would make their move and engulf the whole world in darkness. Only then would the third and final heart, the one who would regret the most, be stabbed by their own doing."
"That sounds,... cheerful,..." Nico added sarcastically to somehow lighten the mood. She might have poked fun at you for changing into that light being who can disintegrate your clothes but, she just couldn't make fun of this particular entity who made unfunny prophecies.
Griffon flew towards the entity before Nico could even stop him.
"You said something before about crying and kneeling, and whatever that was." The demonic bird questioned. "What's up with that? Another twisted plot on a fuckin' t.v. show?!"
"My answer remains the same." The entity answered calmly. "At the final hours of the evening and the last radiance of the wounded moon, the past will weep, the present will kneel, and the future will die."
"The future will die?" Nico cut in. "Is that what you mean by your body perishing soon?"
But, the entity did not answer. Instead, she went past Griffon and made her way towards the woman.
"Would you weep, human?"
"Uh, it depends,..." Nico said matter - of - factly. It's the plain truth! Why would she cry at the prophet's death?
"You are strong and vigilant. Remain as such until the promised hour." The entity answered, then went back towards Griffon.
"Ahh, ya have somethin' for me?" Griffon asked.
"Remain true to your instincts." The entity told him. "Even in the face of true danger."
"Okay,... WHAT?!"
The entity nodded, then faced away from them, glancing at the depressing weather outside. Nico, who was curious to know more, followed suit.
"Why are you telling us all this? Isn't the future kind of forbidden to tell? And why show yourself now? Because the world is ending and some shit?"
"And so, you believed me?"
"Well, yeah! I believed in my friend, and her power comes from you! Of course, I believe you."
"Such innocence,..." the entity simply stated, then released a sound that sounded strangely like a chuckle. "There was a time when I was stoned by my own people for warning them of such dangers. No one believed me, and that is my eternal curse. A curse for turning away a powerful lover. He gave me this power."
"No one's stoning you here." Griffon said, joining the two. "That's just barbaric."
"Is there a way to prevent all this bad stuff from happening?" Nico finally asked, positively itching to know the solution. Well, there must be! "Like a plan B, or somethin'?"
"There is no alternative. Everything I told you is inevitable."
"So, that's it, huh? All of us will fuckin' die?" Griffon slightly yelled at the entity for being so pessimistic.
She looked at him and gave him a meaningful glance. "There is,... an alternative."
Griffon and Nico's eyes widened as they looked at each other in utter surprise.
"And it all depends on one." The entity finished.
"One what?!" Both Nico and Griffon questioned, to which they were just ignored as the entity glanced back at the weather outside.
"By then, the past shall still weep but, not for long, the present shall forever kneel but, the future,... may no longer die. That is,... a nice thought. If only,..."
"If only,... ?" Nico asked in an attempt to keep the entity talking.
However, the strange creature remained silent as she watched every single drop of the rain.
"It has been,... a long time since I watched the rain." She quietly said, her voice as gentle and calm as possible. "It is so calm, so peaceful. A fitting start to an end."
Nico sighed. They never truly heard something positive from her other than her proposed plan B, which was still very vague, much to their distaste.
"I'm afraid I'm keeping your friend." The entity told them. "I must go, for her strength must be replenished."
"WAIT!"
Both the entity and Nico looked at Griffon, surprised at what he just blurted out.
"Speak, creature of the night."
"I, ahh,..." Griffon began, unsure how to bring up the Dreadnought issue. "I just wanna know, is,... is (Y/N) an, ah, err, an,... ah, how to say this?"
"Just spit it out, Chickee!" Nico blurted out, crossing her arms once more.
"Is (Y/N) an enemy? I just wanna know." And just like that, the words were finally out from him like removing a thorn piercing his heart.
"ENEMY?! WHAT ARE YOU - ?!"
"I see." The entity said. All of a sudden, her body was engulfed with light, like she was catching on fire. "It entirely depends,... on the beholder."
And with those final words, the entity vanished, leaving behind her vessel.
Your eyes were closed shut, and when you finally opened them, you were surprised to see both Nico and Griffon staring at you with open mouths.
"Did I just do something weird?" You asked them, which made them convinced that you did not remember everything that just happened.
"No!" Nico answered with a nervous laugh.
"That's it! I just gotta tell V that she's not an enemy, right?!" Griffon said to himself, entirely forgetting that you and Nico could totally hear him.
"What are you talking about?" You asked him.
"Ah! Nothin' ! Gotta go!"
"Wait!"
And, just like that, the demonic bird flew away, his strange words and behavior making him even more suspicious.

Pirate’s Treasure
Hey peeps! I told ya I’d be back with lovefest, and boy is this one a doozy. This is the day 4 prompt - crossdressing cosplaying. NSFW. yep. This is one of my longer pieces and has a TON of signature cookie banter. I loved playing around with the pirate theme with these two. I hope yall enjoy. As always, leave me a comment, reblog, tag, whatever you want to interact so I know what yall like! I’ll be back later with the next prompt. Let’s hope this keeps ya satisfied til then ;)
Pairing: Gajevy
Prompt: Cosplaying
Length: 3.4k
Pirate’s Treasure
"Trust me it'll be fun," Levy yelled from the bed, playing with wide black belt that laid across her hip.
"You said that last time, and it took a while before we got to any fun." Gajeel hadn't thought the 'night of endless torture' as he liked to call it, was fun at first. Levy’d had a great time, and Gajeel had eventually gotten what he wanted.
"It was teasing, and you loved it," she chided. "You just don't get teased as much as you dish it out. Payback, honey." Levy fiddled with her black corset and the gold buttons running up her stomach. "Besides, that was the most intense time we'd had in awhile. You said so yourself." As she looked herself over one last time, she heard her husband groan from the bathroom. "Plus, you're the one who really likes the book, Gajeel. You said it always makes you hot." Levy wanted nothing more than for him to stop griping and come out of his little hiding spot.
"Yeah, cause we're reading about sex. How could it not get hot?" The closed door muffled his words, but Levy knew him well enough to understand.
She prompted him further. "It's lead to more than a few steamy nights. I really want do this." Her hands wandered over her black, skin tight-pants and puffy cream top. "We both agreed I'd be hot as a pirate." Gold jewelry studded her neck and ears, but her most treasured piece was the ring on her left hand. "Trust your wife. This will be fun."
"It could still be fun if only you dressed up. Yer cute in those little outfits," Gajeel retorted. Levy heard the distinct sound of a zipper clasping shut. Her husband really was wonderful, catering to her fantasies, albeit a bit begrudgingly. She knew she could change his mind about dressing up though.
Levy fingered the fake pistol at her hip and the knife tucked into a sheath between her thighs. She'd really done her best to look the part. "I know I'm cute. I want to see you."
A thump against the door startled her for a second. He was moping. Typical Gajeel. Levy knew he'd enjoy this if he could just be open to the idea a little more. "I just don't think it's necessary for me," he whined. "I'd rather be naked."
Sometimes it surprised Levy how unadventurous he was in bed. Well, he could be very adventurous, but occasionally he needed a little push. "Please, for me," she cooed.
Gajeel could never turn down that singsong voice of hers when she asked him like that, soft with just a touch of pleading. "Fine," he grumbled as he stepped out of the bathroom.
Levy's jaw dropped at the sight of him. His legs were muscled—clearly outlined under the tight white pants. Her eyes flicked down, and she could see that he'd refused to wear the tall, thin black boots, opting for his usual heavy, iron-studded pair instead. But she didn't mind; Levy had fallen in love with the bit of rebel inside him along with all the rest. Gajeel wore a dark blue coat embroidered in gold with shining buttons cascading down its length. His bare chest peeked out beneath a loose hanging white shirt. Gajeel was supposed to have them both fully closed, but Levy enjoyed her view too much to complain. The final touches were his navy cravat, pistol holster, and usually wild hair neatly tucked into a ponytail beneath his hat. He looked perfectly like a Gajeel born version of the character. A bare chest and sultry smirk made him even better than the original. Levy's eyes went wide, and she leaned forward onto all fours as he sauntered over. Gajeel noted the way she reacted, experiencing the largest ego boost of his life.
"Like what ya see?" he asked as looked down at her. Levy nodded furiously. It was like seeing one of her favorite characters jump off the page and into her life, and he was ready to slam her into the bed. Gajeel kissed her deeply, letting his tongue trace the crevices of her mouth. "Now, is this what you had in mind?"
"Almost." Levy turned her eyes away, blushing for a moment. "I want you to get into character."
"Huh? I thought we were just wearing costumes." It seemed like Levy had a few surprises tonight.
"No," she gulped, "I want to feel like it’s real." Levy looked up into his eyes, and her tone changed. "You can pick any scene you want." Suddenly, she grabbed his cravat, pulling him down into a fierce kiss. "Captains orders." Levy rolled his lower lip with her teeth; it puckered when she released him.
Gajeel sat there stunned and took a minute to look over his wife. Her legs were encased in knee length boots, and black leggings hugged her ass. Gold, scalloped clasps kept her corset shut, making a stark contrast to the black leather embossed with flowers. Her cream strapless blouse hung tight on her chest and loose at her wrists, ending in her signature three-quarter length sleeve. A burgundy vest covered her back down to her hips, held snug against her body with a wide black belt. Hanging from a gold loop on the belt was the holster for her pistol. Levy's ruby striped headband kept back any loose hair, completing her look. She was a stunning. Levy hardly ever put herself on display like this, opting for more subtle, comfortable clothes or better yet no clothes at all. Gajeel snickered, no clothes at all was definitely the best. Breath caught in his throat as he took in the look in her eyes; there was something sensual and almost dangerous there, and it thrilled him.
"That's quite the proposal, Lev."
Levy slapped his jaw with her foot. "That's captain to you." Gajeel's eyes widened. Levy wasn't usually so feisty or commanding. He wondered just how far she would go in this role.
"Well then, captain," he purred, reaching to grab the back of her head, "Remember that scene where I meet you again in the tavern?"
"Hmmm, which one?" Levy's head swam as he nibbled kisses up her neck.
"The third time, when we go to the room after."
Levy shivered at the memory of the scene, and wetness began to coat her folds. "Yes, that one."
Gajeel tugged at her earlobe with his teeth. "Well, Captain? Whaddaya say?" Levy shuddered at his hot breath then pushed back against him, feeling the toned muscles in his chest.
"I'd say a man of the Royal Navy should have better vocabulary," she murmured, untying his cravat.
"Ahhh but I used to be a sea dog or don't ya remember?" He licked his lips. "It's how I'm the best at catching pirates."
Levy felt herself slipping into character. Heat burned in her gut. "Hmmm I had forgotten, Officer Gajeel." Shivers swept through her skin. "I like the sound of that. Off-i-cer Gaj-eel." Her words fueled his lust, and he too fell into character. He was gonna fuck a pirate tonight. Royal Navy Officer Gajeel Redfox would finally catch his elusive pirate queen, Captain Levy McGarden.
"Well," he breathed against her shoulder, "if I remember correctly, it starts off with me holding you in my arms." He scooped her up, fingers digging into her thighs. "And slamming you against the door." Levy's back hit the wood, nearly knocking the breath from her lungs, but Gajeel took it a moment later in a passionate kiss.
"Yeah, that sounds about right," she sighed.
Gajeel's hands roamed her costume. "And I feel all over your clothes." He unhooked her belt, and it landed on the floor with a clink. "Finding a dagger right," his voice caught in his throat, fingers lingering on her thigh, "hmm that's dedication, Captain." Gajeel tossed the fake weapon across the room and held her against the door, pressing hot kisses into her lips.
"I seem to recall that you're supposed to have a gun here." Levy's hands reached down to feel around his pockets. "Oh, looks like we'll have to get you one, but you have some pretty intense machinery right there." She grabbed his cock, rubbing him through his pants. Gajeel groaned into Levy's shoulder and tore her from the door, sucking at her neck, before tossing her onto the bed.
"Ya know I should arrest you. Yer a pirate after all." His fingers glided over her body. "And I can't have ya running off on me like last time." He snickered and peeled off her boots slowly. "Maybe I should lock you to the bed."
Levy cocked her head to the side and gave him a wicked grin. "You could try, but I'm a fantastic lock pick." Her voice became smooth as satin, "Or have you forgotten how I like to do my dirty work?"
Gajeel swallowed the lump in his throat and kicked off his boots. "Oh I know you like it dirty. Pirate."
"Officer."
He lunged for her lips, pouring passion into his kiss. Their mouths begged for both attention and dominance. Gajeel tore off his hat, letting his jet black hair fall free around his shoulders. Hands palmed Levy's breasts, savoring how soft she was under his callused skin. Levy's head spun as he kissed her neck. She didn't even notice as he held her hands above her head and threaded her headband around her wrists into a makeshift bond. Now that she was secure, Gajeel ran his tongue down to her breasts, eliciting moan after moan.
"You're being very forward officer." He flicked her nipple, making Levy moan harder. "And making me much louder than I normally am." His hand rolled her bud again and she started panting. "Aren't you worried your fellow officers will find out? I'm sure there's some downstairs."
Gajeel lifted his lips and watched as her hardened nib wrinkled back into place. "I like the thrill, and you're worth the risk." His smile turned wicked, thoughts clear in his eyes, and he grabbed Levy’s thighs, pulling down her leggings with a sharp tug. "Plus, I'll be the only officer in your downstairs." An audible gulp went down his throat. "My, my, captain," he breathed, eyes widening as his thumb traced her hip. "Not wearing anything below deck?" Gajeel ran his finger slowly up and down her slit. Sweat glistened on his brow. "You're quite wet."
Levy licked her lips, gazing up at him. "Well I am a pirate. I live on a ship. On the sea. Things tend to get wet."
"Really?"
"All the time."
Her words sank into him like stones in the ocean, falling slowly until they disturbed the sand below, bringing them both to life. Gajeel grabbed her ass with a squeeze and swirled his tongue around her clit. Levy arched into him on contact. Heat burned through both of their veins, promising passion, desire, and a night that would end with flames. The binding on her hands made Levy’s need more intense as she fought to touch him back. Her body spasmed and jerked under his lips, but the fabric held her in place. Gajeel teased her sensitive skin, alternating between tongue and tooth, until Levy screamed with pleasure and broke free. Gasps rocked her chest, and she grabbed her head to quell the electricity shooting through her nerves. Gajeel fed off her noise, wanting desperately to hear more. Levy’s fingers dug into the edge of the bed as she squirmed and squealed. Finally, he released her, lungs begging for air.
"No wonder I've always liked this outfit on you,” he panted. “I was staring at more of your ass than I’d realized." Levy laughed—she loved his teasing banter—and hooked her feet under his arms, pulling him up to stare in his eyes.
"Make sure to watch for what's wet next time you see me bent over on my ship." She licked her lips, sending shivers through Gajeel's body. Her mouth crashed onto his, tasting her own wetness on his skin. Sitting up, Levy wrapped her hands around his neck and straddled him with her knees, easing up and down as she breathed. Gajeel swallowed hard, his wife was so hot, he didn't know where to touch her first.
Levy unbuttoned his shirt and tossed it on the floor. Her eyes and hands roamed his muscled chest for a solid minute, taking in his incredible physique. "You have the body of a sailor, officer. You'd be fantastic help on my ship." Gajeel moved to unclasp her corset, but she lightly slapped him away, teasing him in a light voice, "No, no, no." Awestruck, Gajeel lay under her, and let his captain lead. Levy directed one of his hands onto her ass and the other under her core. She squeezed his hand, then raised his finger up to trace her folds. Gajeel could barely breathe as Levy lined the finger up with her core and plunged it in, sighing. Her soft warmth coated his digit, and he moaned loudly as he brushed against her walls. She pumped his hand, encouraging him to do more.
"Have it your way, captain," he crooned, increasing the speed of his thrusting.
Levy bounced along the length of his finger, enjoying the way it felt to have him inside her. "Look at me, officer; don't take your eyes off me. I want you to see everything." Gajeel curled his finger, making Levy shudder and moan. Levy tossed her head back, she wanted more, needed more, and she would have it. Unlacing her blouse, she pulled it and the vest over her head, revealing a hidden dagger sheath against her ribs. Gajeel's free hand unhooked the belt and tossed the rubber knife on top of her clothes.
"Can't ever be too careful," he joked.
Their eyes locked as Levy's hand traced a line from her hair to her breasts. Her fingers ran circles around her nipples until they were taut and sensitive enough that a flick would send her keening. Gajeel did as she asked; he watched her. He watched as her tits bounced each time he pumped his finger, he watched as her face contorted in various shades of pleasure, and he watched as her body flushed with the heat of the moment.
"Like what you see, officer? This is what a captain looks like." He nodded his head 'yes', never breaking contact with her gaze. "Care to take a ride? Think you can handle it?"
"Now I've never seen anything like that before, Captain," he said, words soft and alluring against her ear. "Think this is enough to whether the storm?" Gajeel took her hand in his and moved it to the thin fabric covering his cock. He was completely hard, barely contained in his pants. Levy smiled wide and continued to bounce against him.
"Why don't you find out? Ship's gonna leave port soon. You better be inside."
Gajeel grabbed the back of her neck, kissing her deeply as his finger slipped out of her core. All he could think was holy crap his wife was amazing. He kicked off his pants at lightning speed. When Gajeel turned back around, his mouth dropped even further. Levy was facing away from him, popping her ass out as she held the headboard. He moved in behind her, tracing lines along her back down between her legs.
Levy looked up at him and ordered, "Make it rattle like I'm on my ship, officer."
"Oh I will, but first, I gotta make sure I'm wet. If I'm gonna be with a captain, I better have my sea legs." Gajeel rubbed his length along her core, coating himself in her wetness. Levy fingered his tip as their combined breathing grew heavier. His hands palmed at her breasts, grabbing her soft skin and tossing them both backwards against the mattress. She laid on top of him, rolling her hips as she stroked his cock. Gajeel's finger found her clit, rubbing circles that made her gasp his name. He slid her up his chest and pressed her forward until she hovered just above his length. "Captain, care to see if I'm up to standards?" he asked, voice dripping with desire. Levy laughed, surprised at how into their roleplay Gajeel had become.
"Aye," she whispered, taking him in her mouth. Her tongue rolled over his skin, making him squirm. Soft, wet lips sent shivers up his spine as she bobbed her head over his cock. It felt like his brain was short-circuiting, and all he could do was lay there, taking in every ounce of pleasure she dosed out. Levy flicked his head as she lifted up, arching her back for for his appreciation. Gajeel couldn't take his eyes off her every curve as she ground against his chest.
"Captain," he groaned, "I want you to have your way with me. Then when you're done, I'll lock ya up, and we can be together forever.
"In a cellar?" she mused, "Not my fancy. I need the open sea."
"I can make land very appealing," he whispered, flicking her breasts.
"Show me how," she demanded. Gajeel guided his cock to her core, enjoying how she shivered as his tip brushed her folds. "Bet I think I can convince you to betray the law and run away to the seas with me." Levy turned her head and kissed him deeply, their tongues crashing together like waves.
"Who will cave first, I wonder?" He fisted her hair and sucked on the space where her shoulder met her neck. "Let the games begin." Gajeel held Levy's hips above him, poised to lower her on to his cock, when her hand brushed his thigh, stopping him.
"This isn't a game, officer. It's a duel." She released her grip on his leg. "Winner chooses: land or sea." Levy let him fill her, both arching into the other as he did.
"Either way. I'm not losing you again. I won't leave your side." He felt her walls flutter and expand as she relaxed. Levy's sweet smile melted his heart; he would do anything she asked of him.
"Care to be a pirate's mate?" she mused, lips trailing his jaw.
"What if you're an officer's woman?" he countered, hands roaming every inch of her body.
"Either way, I won't let to go, but I think you'll see it my way." Levy started to move her legs, pumping herself along his length. "Kiss me."
Gajeel did, greedily. He snarled and nipped at her skin, taking her lips in his own. All he wanted to do was kiss her until they were both breathless and satisfied. He moaned her name in her ear.
"Lev, this is the best damn book in the world, and we're doing this again." Letting his head rest on her shoulder, he whispered, "But right now it's me and you, my wonderful wife."
Levy smiled and chuckled to herself. "Told ya you'd like it. I love you so much, Gajeel."
A hungry smile spread across his face. "And we're finishing that book this week."
Levy blushed, then gasped as he moved inside her. "I don't know if my body will be able to handle that." His kiss overwhelmed her senses, drowning out her ability to put words together. Every fiber of her being resonated with his voice. "Yes," she sighed.
"Trust me, Lev, you'll enjoy it," he teased.
Levy's laugh twinkled like stars. "Ok. Wanna know something you'll love?"
"You?" he crooned.
"I know that. No, I'm talking about the book," she paused, exhaling deeply and letting her voice take on a sultry tinge. "Pirate’s Treasure is just the first in the series."
Gajeel nearly came that moment at the thought of what was in store. He rocked her hips until they both groaned in delight. Sweat filled the bare space between them as skin slid over skin. He would put all his effort into the next costume. Mentally kicking himself for not trying more his time, Gajeel thrust harder, wanting to please her as much as possible for pushing him outside his box. Tomorrow, he was going to buy Levy every damn erotic book she wanted and maybe a few for himself. They were going to be busy.
