#but mainly just stun tremor and roar are the big ones and wind is in 4th place and is mostly covered anyway

You're more amazing than paper
I've been making a lot of builds on Monster Hunter, but some weapons that I want to play don't need any/many skills to work, just a charm and/or a few decorations, so the armor doesn't matter. I decided to make a generic armor set, and wondered what skills to put on it for 2 seconds before I remembered that this game has a million ways to stun you, so I made a build that's immune to them all*
#asks#i only have 4 out of 5 levels of Windproof and i don't have Flinch Free or Paralysis Res#and i know that sounds like i'm missing a lot but i have Stun Res and Tremor Res and Earplugs because those are way more common#i can just adjust the decorations to counter wind or paralysis if i'm fighting a monster that has that#and flinch... i don't think that's very common? it's at least not nearly as big of a deal as the others#certainly common in multiplayer tho so maybe i'll try to work it in#but mainly just stun tremor and roar are the big ones and wind is in 4th place and is mostly covered anyway#i also have another generic set that doesn't care about the weapon: my evasion set#but that one requires the Evasion Mantle. the stun-proof set only needs the armor and only kinda needs the decorations#so i have the weapon tool and charm slots totally free to customize#perfectly generic!#my first use of it was for my stamina-boost kinsect glaive with a blunt kinsect#the strat is to mark the monster's head and then let the kinsect stay out as long as possible to get blunt hits and hopefully stun#only tried it once and only got one stun but i didn't even use the Impact Mantle and it was a low health monster so idk
