just saw this gorgeous eclipse edit and i am once again wondering whether amitriptyline is actually regularly prescribed for depression in thailand
#in the US tricyclic antidepressants aren't commonly prescribed today as a first-line treatment for depression#but low-ish doses of amitriptyline are common for chronic pain and sometimes as an alternative to other drugs to treat insomnia#anyway 25 mg seems too low to have any sort of deliberate long-term psychoactive effect#was it prescribed as a sleep aid??#aye's mom assumes akk was talking about the SSRIs (not pictured) but akk actually found his migraine preventive#the eclipse
