#sorry to be nuts about it on main#but like. varric rook and solas’ themes all sharing the strings#the way the woodwinds from bellara’s combat and normal themes carry into davrin’s theme#as both a connection Davrin and assan both have to Arlathan#but also davrin’s theme having this strong powerful almost regal brass#that speaks so much to the wardens as this strong proud organization that is as much of his identity as any other#sorry I didn’t get to listen to that much more on my drive but I am Thinking#I know hans zimmer is an incredible composer so it’s to be expected#but nevertheless it’s still like. these are bangers#in terms of how music can tell a story and leitmotifs can carry connections to characters#one of the songs that plays w bellara/I think veil jumper stuff starts w a chunk of Solas’s theme#idk I might also be talking out of my ass#owen plays dragon age#datv
