ok i had my inaugural meeting at a monthly subscription unlimited classes spanish thing. unnamed until i decide to finish out the trial.

we discussed basically the structure of the classes & he kind of set expectations on formatting and exercises. then he sent me a level test. i'm to have a follow-up meeting with him to discuss my results and basically start from there! unfortunately he wasn't available until this saturday but it's honestly fine. i have the free week trial so i'm not in like a huge rush.

update: looks like i placed at level 1 tho which is soooo frustrating. so. frustrating. 💀💀💀

#spanish update for future reference #i have a full rant about why i was placed at complete beginner #i'm hoping the listening skills i've developed will translate to intermediate lessons within a couple of weeks or so #i mean i'm at b2 graded readers rn #so i'm not actually at a1 after 18 months of active study #but like jesus fuck jesus christ i could smash some plates rn #neurasthnia posts
