SO! My original idea (that I had way back when Genloss first premiered actually > - >) was to essentially make a full on intro, about 1.5 minutes long, rendered in Blender. Which is uh, kind of insane considering my ability to use Blender is mediocre on a good day.

The idea was that each of the major characters would be made into a marble sculpture type of thing, an idea best demonstrated in the intro for 1899.

On top of that, there'd be other objects too; For instance, a game of mousetrap where the cage was coming down onto a few of the Maul of America pieces.

I had a few other objects in mind, too, though I've forgotten most of them since I first came up with the idea >.> I know one of them was the TV from the first episode, and another might have been Jerma's gun? Again it's been awhile, so things are a bit fuzzy unfortunately

The actual title card is what you've just seen -- albeit a slightly watered down version bc of my poor Blender abilities.

It would all be backed by a custom hack-n-slashed version of Puppet Loosely Strung by The Correspondents, which I've actually managed to do. It was actually kinda hard to keep it at just 1.5 minutes considering the song is like, 4 minutes long, but hey I managed it!! Honestly even having listened to the full song a lot (it goes hard, would recommend) I can kind of barely tell it's been rearranged lol.

Anyway, I think that's mostly everything I had for this. If I can remember anything else I'll add it.

I doubt I'll ever actually get the chance to actually pull through on this idea, unfortunately :( But hey, if you got inspired by any part of this, don't hesitate to make something!!! And if you post it, feel free to tag me in it too, I wanna see :O

anyway. posting about this genloss fic idea so that maybe i ever do anything with it

live vote au, pretty much immediately post-canon. basically the tse streams were like. thee most actual violence showfall has shown on screen. they were so so so ready to fully execute glranboo live on stream. so sneeg and charlie are like. that's it it's not safe here anymore we've got to Go and by Go i mean try to find an exit in the condemned sections of the mall that they hadn't beforehand because they were unsafe for human travel and probably full of black mold. but desperate times call for desperate measures so. they get ranboo and niki (they'll get the rest of the cast later but there's like. kind of beef btwn sneeg and austin and that translates to an overall beef-by-proxy for both groups) from the cast member sleep state and figure that of them, niki is probably their best bet (sneeg and charlie get checked on more frequently than the sleeping cast members since being awake makes them more of a liability + sometimes they like. die between shows and that's important to deal with promptly. ranboo will explode if they get sent on this alone) and they have like. a pair of stolen walkie-talkies i think. niki has one week before her next taping so she's gotta be back before then, even if she doesn't find an exit. plot events ensue. i kind of know what's going to happen but it's more character driven and also i don't wanna post spoilers in case i do actually write this (unlikely but we can dream)

featuring: alternating sneeg/charlie/ranboo pov. i think it's fun to obfuscate what characters are actually doing and this lets me kinda condense niki's Thoughts into the dialogue so it's not just internal monologue forever. grief! differences in compartmentalization between sneeg and charlie who have been here since they were young children, niki who has been here for like four years, and ranboo who just showed up sneeg Remembers now. what does it mean for these characters to actually escape on a character level what does it mean for these characters to actually escape on a meta level
