I've tried to write stories set in siren or kosa but never really got anywhere with it, tbh none of the characters grabbed me in a way that made me think "I need to get inside this guy's head and poke around", so it's clear to me that they are mostly visual projects, settings where I can draw something cool and be satisfied. I feel so incredibly differently about Inver and mez and the other mostly-prose stuff I do, it's like night and day. And I realised just now that the difference is that for the mostly visual stuff, that's a story that I want badly to read but not write, and for the written stuff, a story that i want to write but not read.
