Watching people talk about Nosferatu on twitter makes it so obvious that a lot of people are just prudes and think they have to see movies or consume media they know they won’t like just to be “in the know.”

It’s horny! It’s okay that it’s horny and also making a point about violence and otherness and the desperation to be loved and the inherent way that women aren’t ever listened to! It’s okay for it to be both! You don’t have to stomp your feet and pound your chest that YOU are so much better than anyone else because YOU didn’t think it was horny and thought it was REPUGNANT AND GROSS.

I say this all the time but let people enjoy things, even if those things are “bad”. It’s fiction! Let’s all just have a good time with this masterpiece of a movie.
