Hello! Sorry in advance for the long ask.

I know you’ve responded to an ask talking about Curlys eyes, but I just have to compliment you in your design and emphasis on his eyes. I feel like in most art his eyes are portrayed as mostly normal looking eyes, not too wide, and that’s fine! That’s how it is in the game. But when comparing pre-crash curly and post-crash curly, that are already very different in appearance, the eyes being different helps with the rift between the two that can make it hard to really grasp that those two are the same person, even if I in theory know they are the same.

But when looking at your art, with its fantastic design, and seeing Curlys wide eyes pre-crash and his one wide eye post-crash, my brain finally understand; Oh, that’s Curly.

Your art and design is so incredibly skilled, I wish you the best!

And yea Curly's blue eyes to me are his key identifiable feature because it's present in both of his forms. I don't draw post crash Curly often but he IS the iconic poster boy of the game, so I think his pre crash self also has to look like him somewhat. 'Cause that's the same guy.

In one swift move, he pulled you into his arms, hugging her securely as he stared down at your slightly flustered figure "What did I tell you, princess?" Riki asked as you hid your face in his chest.

The male smiled at this action, softly letting go, his hand still gripping onto yours as they walked through the mall. Yet again, your feet were taking you to all kinds of stores, Riki being quick to act, pulling her back, cautiously not wanting to injure her arm.

His eyes suddenly fell on a running toddler, the toddler's parents' holding the toddler on a leash "Babe- I think we need to go to a store that sells those leashes-" Riki pointed out as you giggled, mischievously.

well I have another few more OCs that doesn't have a thorough lore and attention Raven gets, or I haven't decide if I want to place them in the COD universe

they're more like a concept- lil gremlins in my head yk HAHA but I'll introduce you to a few

First off in Raven's cannon universe, there are 3-4 more OCs that exist Vik and Archi, which are Raven's adoptive parents and the founder of Cobra (I don't have a face for Archi yet sadly, technically also for Vik too, cant decide a face for him + bonus Cobra insignia) -> also the main antagonist in Raven's timeline (these are old doodles)

Second is Fish, he's a Medic OC who ironically doesn't want to live while saving other's live (rather dubiously, he decides everything with a flip of a coin) -> not sure if Im making him exist in COD universe because he's just more like a guy I ship with my friend's oc with

Third and Fourth is still a process Im thinking (it's been a few months send help)

the idea is this, this new OC is a weapons specialist/engineer or munitions system specialist (basically a personnel focusing more on storage, handling, and maintenance of weapons, ammunition, and explosives)

they're one of the few people Raven trust and are close acquaintances with in Cobra

when I was brainstorming this new OC some friends suggested making it a twin, hence third or fourth

Nothing much has gone into them besides the idea is that they carry a huge plushie around and inside its their rifles XD and I want them to be ridiculously tall

They're probably going to be the type that doesn't talk much and knows sign language, owns like a real fancy garage / workshop to tinker with items and such

They operate based on their own virtue, so after Cobra betrays Raven they left Cobra as well and sort of went off their own ways

They also helped Raven in more ways than one:

sending intel to Price to let him know she was majorly injured (they couldn't meddle in because they were still active Cobra members at that time)

wiped out "Python" data(her old callsign when she was in Cobra) and retrieved what's left of her belongings(her precious sniper)

assisted her and Price's loadout situation after mw3 when they have to go under the radar for a period of time on their own

im just really bad at coming up a character design so I've put off these for so long (Raven took like legit 8 months ish to finalize her design - that's a lie there are still things Im changing for her HAHA)

BUT he spends his money on caring for pets, which only the wealthy can afford basically; pets are more or less a thing of the past, same with a lot of crops; they aren't extinct, but hard / expensive to obtain aside from like,, extremely lucky finds or smth yk)

he. literally has trauma team platinum insurance plans on his pets but not himself ffs

also he drives a motorcycle instead of a car bc he wants the least amount of ppl injured as possible if there's an accident

he'd prefer to be non-lethal where he can on some missions where things are more ambiguous, but if it's like,, "get this thing from these people who have literally forced cyberware into random bystanders because funny" (in game comcept btw ty maelstrom) bro would not give a damn

he's not about to sit there and make ppl suffer for their crimes or whatever but (pistol boop) removed (throws knife) removed

like. if there's still a "soul" he wants to let them live (ex. just gangsters whose violence is on corps or yk retaliation, they fuck up the city, whatever) he's not gonna care to be the judge of it

but if they attack innocent ppl for personal gain, the "soul" has died and he finds it's better to dispatch the wandering husk

i find the difference so funny where it's like,,

I hate it when smut isn't tagged or like warned of. Like when people recommend books as if they're cute lil stories about whatever minor detail they like most and don't even mention it (especially with dark romance). And once I was on ao3 and I filtered out all the mature/explicit fics and picked on a random 1 chapter fic that didn't have any vaguely sexual tags and it still had smut in it

And the rlly long example I'm giving that happened like a month ago - My friend's trying to get me to read a book that's written really shittily and she keeps showing me scenes she likes and like I'm totally fine with that but then she went "oh this scene's cute!" Sometimes life just gets in the way of things and you have no control over it. Lena & R were childhood best friends that grew up playing football together with the promise that they would both make it pro and hopefully represent Germany. Life is good until R’s father gets a promotion at work that requires the whole family to move to the states. Not wanting to say goodbye to her best friend R decides to leave without saying goodbye to Lena, who is obviously heart broken but carries on with life. Over 10 years later the USA’s star player has decided to leave the NWSL for a new challenge elsewhere, unknown to the both of them they’ve both signed a contract to the same club Bayern Munich for the new season. Not happy with the situation she’s in because of how their friendship ended, Lena decides to just ignore R unless it’s required that they interact much to R’s dismay. Their new teammates can obviously feel the tension but don’t know what’s wrong and that they actually know each other (other than Lea who knows how much R truly means to Lena). It all comes to a boiling point when R accidentally calls Lena by the nickname she gave her as kids (maybe obi?). Overcome with emotion that has been building up for the last couple of weeks, Lena snaps at R about how she left her without saying goodbye and that she had no right calling her that now as their not friends anymore. R who is stunned decides to try and explain herself, but Lena doesn’t want to hear it and storms off. Fast forward to the upcoming game and reader gets (minor) injured. Lena obviously worried wants to know if she’s ok and visits her in the hospital. Where confessions are made and after an emotional talk they make up. In the end they end up getting together.

OK SO first oc’s name is haitani reiko. if u havent already noticed she is in fact a haitani 😭 her nickname is sleeping beauty bcuz for abt like 2-4 years she’d been in a coma n shit but during a battle the haitani brothers were in against another gang she had woken up 🤯 and as the good bros they are they immediately left the battle to see their sister. so its kind of a given that theyre a bit overprotective of their lil sis. but she doesnt like how her whole identity in the gang world is being the younger sister of the haitani brothers so she wants to go out n kinda create her own identity yk? she isnt rlly a fighter but she joins a few minor gangs to get her name around. and i dont rlly think im gonna write her in anything rn cuz her character is rlly weak. but here is an old fanart i did of her :3 (i do have a picrew of her that i’ll show u at the end of this ask <3)

next is i think my fav child, futamo aisume<3333 im not even gonna lie he was kind of a self insert oc but i still love him 😭 hez written as shion’s child hood best friend, having the nickname “the great’s shadow” so hez kind of the side guy that patches up shion when hez injured, but he can still fight. he was in tenjiku w shion but once they were defeated shion kinda just left him behind (also cuz he went to jail lol) so idk prob wakasa took in futamo and brought him into brahman. hez got a similar kind of loyalty as sanzu to mikey and koko n inui and hez rlly blunt. the black cat to shion’s golden retriever imo<333

and last but not least there’s takumi! ngl i kinda just doodled him a bit in an old notebook but i loveddddd him. hez basically just bonten’s bartender, the guy who deals with everyone’s worries n someone they all trust to vent to a lot. sometimes all of bonten go to visit him at once but most of the time they all just go for a quick drink by themselves. takumi’s closest to maybe ran ig? ran’s a bit of a flirt to everyone so hez naturally like that when he meets takumi, and like takumi was kinda just like this is kinda funny, i like this guy. so he kind of matches ran’s energy at a subtle level. i wanna say takumi is an ex gang member from like a different region but when he moved to tokyo and started looking for a job, he had his connections from the past that led him to bonten.

so yeah! a bit messy kinda made some stuff up on the spot but those r my ocs<3333 love them all v much and i miss them so much my ocs era was good. so so good. but here are their designs :3 (in order of reiko, aisume and takumi)
