#but jatp has virtually no bad reviews or concerns about the content and the way it was presented

i mean you can’t really compare it, birdegton was extremely successful compared to jatp
yeah, you’re right. but the main reason jatp can’t be renewed is (in my opinion - i’m making assumptions here) is either
concerns with social distancing and covid measures
wanting to wait until madi is older - which idk why they would want that but i guess it would make sense
both of these things are inevitably going to improve if that’s what they’re waiting on. and jatp has a (albeit smaller) loyal fanbase. i understand that they can’t turn around and tell us they’ll film a season two tomorrow, but an ‘okay season two is happening just not yet’ announcement would be nice /lh
#also bridgerton got good reviews but i’ve heard a lot of poc who’ve found it a little blasé on the race front#(<- i’m only speaking for the people i’ve had the conversation with)#and i’m not sure why regé left but my friends have speculated that it might be related#but jatp has virtually no bad reviews or concerns about the content and the way it was presented#also it’s a kids show so it’s going to rate ‘cleaner’#i’m not sure how netflix can promise three seasons though because god knows what could go wrong#they’ve kept up attention with casting kate sharma/sheffield#(a good casting choice but i digress)#but i don’t understand how they can promise three seasons of bridgerton and not even one of jatp#i don’t think it’s an audience thing#both are garaunteed a loyal audience#maybe it’s because of filming logistics or something#but i don’t get how they can promise three years#but that’s just my opinion#anon#ask
