the lab tech training me said awesomesauce sixteen times today btw. yeah I counted
#she says it completely unironically its actually kinda cute. I like when ppl have a set phrasebook of neutral/affirmative responses#but its also very funny to me... carbon dating her age based off that#im training to replace her bc she leaves in 2 weeks 😥😢 they pulled me on pretty short notice so we're cramming important stuff#its kinda scary to think ill be in the lab without her in ONLY two weeks.... ik the other techs will chip in and train me in other stuff#but im like a freshly hatched duckling ive imprinted on her..... also theres literally only 3 ppl in my lab team so when she leaves itll-#just be me and my manager.... actually basically just me in the food lab bc she mostly works from her desk doing higher up stuff#and yeah there are always other ppl in the main lab and ill be in and out of there all the time too but still......#it feels like a weird amt of responsibility considering ill have only been there three weeks 😰 but its ok theyre rly supportive#ahhhh..#.diaries
