How it started: 5 years ago you and Xiaojun went to the same high school, lived in the same neighborhood and even your families knew each other. He was always the first one to approach you at your front door offering to take you to school. People at school would even tease you two about becoming a couple especially when you played the prince and princess at the school play the princess and the frog.

You both had your passion and the love of arts so it was bound to happen, but what you both didn’t expect was a 5 sec kiss scene where he transforms at the end back as a prince. You both were nervous hoping this doesn’t change anything between your friendship and top it off it was both of your first kiss like EVER. This was only the beginning of your love for each other blossoming.

After you both graduated high school, you started going your separate ways going to different universities promising each other to stay in contact, but that didn’t last too long. You knew Xiaojun was majoring in music, but you didn’t know that he was planning on becoming an idol.

You saw him debut with his group Wayv for the first time and you wanted to get mad at him for not telling you, but then you heard him sing regular. Instantly you grabbed the remote to pause the tv and remembered why you fell for him in the first place. His singing made you feel all kinds of emotions you’ve never felt before. Happiness, sadness, anger and strongest emotion of them all love. Your sister noticed how long you were staring at the handsome man on tv and all of a sudden wanted to check on you.

Your Sister: Sis you must really miss Xiaojun huh? Why don’t you just call him? Plops herself on the couch leaning on your shoulder.

Y/N: I wish I could. His number changed, we haven’t talked to each other since we’ve graduated and plus, what would I even say to him? You sighed in frustration and pouted watching the tv as he smiles at the other idols.

Your sister: Well we’re actually not that far from their dorms. Apparently they go to the same grocery store as us! That’s your best chance at bumping into him.

Y/N: Ehh I don't know sis, this seems very odd. He might think I’m stalking him or- Your sister all of a sudden drags you off the couch and pushes you out the door.

Your sister: Enough of your fussing! Just trust me, your bound to see him. Just at least take a walk around the store and see if he’ll be down there. She looks the door window giving you a thumbs up.

This was your last shot at trying to reunite with him. A part of you was nervous not knowing what to say once you see him and another part of you wanted to be confident hoping for the best. Just like your sister told you you were walking down the streets of Seoul admiring the scenery.

You notice it starts to sprinkle rain at first, but then it starts pouring like a waterfall. You run finding the closest shelter trying to protect yourself from getting sick. You are also not a big fan of thunder storms so you curled up in a ball having trouble looking up. All of a sudden, you feel a pair of arms wrapping around you from the thunderstorms.

This strange warm feeling was giving you deja vu. You didn’t dare open your eyes until the mysterious figure holding you said your name. That’s when you slowly opened your eyes looking up with your sparkling eyes.

Y/N: X-Xiaojun? Is that really you?

Xiaojun: Long time no see y/n. You must be very scared why don’t you come with me where it’s more safe. Smiles at you warmly waiting for your answer.

Y/N: As a matter of fact I do. We have a lot of catching up to do mister. Stands up following him smiling back.

The Date Spots: SM Cafe/Han River

Xiaojun wanted to make it up to you after those 3 years of not telling you about his now public life as an idol. He wrapped his jacket around you warming you up and sat you down next to the SM album collections. 

He ordered you two large hot chocolates with whip cream and chocolate drizzle. To top it all of he ordered your favorite set of vanilla cupcakes custom just with your name on it. He was clasping his hands together hoping to get a positive reaction out of you which worked.

The both of you clicked back right away like it was the good all days talking about each others families, careers, friends and to get more personal love lifes. 

Xiaojun: So...do you have a boyfriend? 

Y/N: Giggles sipping your hot chocolate. No, not yet a least. What about you? There’s a lot of pretty girls in the industry. Have you found the one yet? 

Xiaojun: That may be true, but I already have someone I like. Looks down smiling as he eats his cupcake hoping you would understand where he’s hinting at.  

Y/N: O-oh right. Of course that was bound to happen. You look disappointed and was about to pack your stuff and go back home. Xiaojun stops you by standing in front of your gently grasping your shoulders. 

Xiaojun: Wait. Can you stay with me a little longer? I want to give you a tour around my company if that’s okay. He looks at you with infamous cute puppy dog eyes. 

Y/N: Hmm alright, since you’ve asked with so cutely I don’t see why not. 

Xiaojun shows you all the floors of the SM company from the studio to the private movie theater sharing you everything about his life being a member of Way v. He even buys you souvenirs from the store of your favorite groups such as Shinee, Girls Generation, F(x), etc...

The sun starts setting down after hours of playing around with Xiaojun at the Sm company. Just like old times you guys decided to take a trip to Han River where you first met as teenagers on the winter day.

Winter was your favorite season and apart of that reason was because Xiaojun saved you from that rough patch where you felt lost and unsure of what direction you wanted to take in life. Lucky for you Xiaojun came around the right time to encourage you to keep going. 

While you were lost in your thoughts all of a sudden you felt his hand griping on yours smiling down at you. He out of no where kisses you on the check and proceedes to say.

Xiaojun: Hey you got your head in the clouds again. What are you thinking about?? Notices you staring at him for that suprise attack.

Y/N: W-why did you do that? Don’t you have someone you already like?? Ends up sitting your self down on the bench blushing like crazy.

Xiaojun: Ahhh, I thought I made it so obvious. Ruffles his hair out of frustration at your oblivious behavior. Y/N...you remember when you played the princess and I played the prince in that school play?

Y/N: Gulps. Yeah and what about it?

Xiaojun: Ever since that day after that kiss, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. For years I have been trying plan the perfect way to tell you my feelings before training to become an idol, but it’s like there’s always some dumb misunderstanding. So now that the sun is setting down and the stars are coming up...I want to say simply that I love you and I hope you accept me not just as your friend.

There’s a slight pause between you two staring at each other unsure what to do next, but a spark lights within you to confess right back.

Y/N: Me too Xiaojun. Ever since that day, I just knew that I wanted to be with you as your special someone. I just didn’t want to stop you from achieving your dreams or stealing you away from anyone. No matter what I just wished nothing, but the best for you.

You both slowly lean in pulling each other closer and then boom...your lips are crashing into each other. It was not too slow, but not too fast either just the perfect pace. In both of your minds you thought this was simply worth 3 years of waiting.

The Aftermath: After a long day of following Xiaojun all day it was time to walk back home. You insisted on taking a cab back home, but of course Xiaojun was not going to let that happen. Him being the sweetheart and best boyfriend he is, he’s letting you ride with him in his personal van driver. At least your alone this time in the back seat it can’t be helped Xiaojun sometimes need to have security with him in case saesangs start following him.

The both of you cuddle in the back seat giggling having the time of your lives wishing you can stay with him much longer. Your face suddenly changes to sadness when you realize that this will be the last real you will have with Xiaojun. You have different schedules and paths in life that it’ll be to hard to match.

Y/N: Xiaojun, are you really sure you want to make this work? I mean it’s going to be hard to keep up long distance. Plus your going to be promoting in China most of the time.

He turns looking at you and lifts your chin to face him.

Xiaojun: I’ve never been so sure about something in my entire life. Y/N I love you too much to let you disappear again. It might be difficult, but I will all the time in the world to be with you while still achieving my dream singing.

Y/N: Aren’t you in the slightest bit scared of what will happen?

Xiaojun: Now out of all the years you’ve known me, you know I would never be scared. I might be lonely and a bit sad at times, but I know it’ll all be worth the wait to see you again and again.

You arrive at the front door of your apartment and he was opening the car door for you making sure you stepped out the car safely.

Before you were off your way walking inside your home, you turned around giving Xiaojun one last look and said.

Y/N: Xiaojun I had so much fun today. It was just like old times and I want to cherish this moment forever. You you his jacket towards you to look him in the eyes smiling innocently.

Xiaojun: Same for me. W-we should end the night off with a good night kiss. Laughs at his embarrassing voice crack and then leans in attempting for one last kiss.

You hear your sister slamming the door open and the moment has been ruined by your sister interrupting.

Your sister: Welcome back home- oh long time no see Xiaojunnie.

Y/N: Sis!! Really now.

For the rest for the night you finish off sharing one last group hug before Xiaojun was on his way back to the dorms. It was a night to remember and a night that you’ll never ever forget. He promised you next time he’ll get that good night kiss.

Hey! I'm the anon from slavicafire's blog asking about Yugoslav witchcraft traditions. I;m a child of recent immigrants from the ex-yugo regions and I'm trying to reconnect w/ my roots. Could you give me a very basic outline of simple traditions that might be common from the region? Hvala puno (:

Hi anon! Glad to see somebody interested in our traditions, that is always amazing. I hope this helps you.

Disclaimer, I’m not professional. This is just stuff pulled out of my own amateur research and love for balkan lore. Anybody with better understanding please pitch in.

First, to reiterate what likely everybody told you, Slavic traditions are very variable and unique, depending on which country you are looking at. While there is obviously much similar things, not all Balkan countries have same lore. So I would suggest looking up where your ancestors are from, and then digging in research ( sometimes there are differences even between like, villages in same country, which makes things both beautiful and amazing and irritating and bothersome).

Second, I am sorry to say that information can be kinda hard to come across when searching for Balkan sources. As result of most countries being ‘’still in development’’, (at least when compared to West), decades of communist regime which didn’t care much for spirituality, big influence of Christian church and being kinda small in population, there isn’t lots of people interested in such things, at least not openly. There has thankfully been revival and rise of interest in last years but ah still takes lots of work to find like minded people. You should have some luck searching through Tumblr and Reddit.

Rest of info under cut, keep on read more so we wouldn’t bother people with big wall of text.

Now, I want to say ( in case you aren’t already aware, in which case excuse me and forgive for taking up your time) that if you do research in Serbian or Croatian for veštica you will most likely come upon fantasy books, fairy tales and such. More folkloric stuff will talk about things like selling your soul to Devil, eating hearts of your family, soul leaving your body to do misdeeds and similar. Rather interesting stuff, which could be used for interesting if little dark path, but less easy to put in practice and being generally very Christian story about evil monsters ( I assume you can’t leave your body in shape of moth so you would cut up your neighbors and relatives and eat their insides but hey what do I know, that might work for you). If you are interested in hearing about that though please send me ask again!

What I assume you are looking for, and is generally much more likely to be practiced ( today too in some villages) are činjarice and vračare. These words while literally meaning something like charm-doer/maker and similar, are more like village wisewomen, cunning folk and similar, people who practiced mixture of magic, medicine, old Slavic lore and Christian beliefs, midwifery and superstitions. If you ask your parents, grandparents, relatives and similar, I’m sure they would be able to tell you of encountering or at very least hearing about at least one weird old woman who claimed to be able to read your fortune, help with fertility, protect you against evil eye… If you ever meet such old woman, remember they will most likely be very insulted if you call them witch. Some wouldn’t even call their workings magical, and many are very intensively Christian.

So, some advice which I hope will be useful. Traditionally those women (and probably some men, though I didn’t hear of it happening. Probably happened but people don’t like talking about such things because people are dumb) worked alone. I assume one witch was enough for one village. This doesn’t mean that you can’t join a coven or work with friends and learn from others, simply that solitary path is open to you and that lots of those witches worked on their own, combining superstition, tips passed to them from others and their own knowledge and thoughts. There is no hard tradition to stick to, you can freely experiment, and don’t listen to people who say you need witch’s blood or some nonsense like that. You only need your will and heart and what works for you.

Then, remember those people lived in villages and most likely worked at farm, in fields, with cattle.. They likely lived together with their families ( unless they were of course widows with no nearby relatives or spinsters). Point is, they didn’t have fancy stuff, because they had to take acre of cows and dung and carrots, so you shouldn’t feel bad about not buying athames, wands, cauldrons and such if you can’t or don’t want. You can repurpose normal ordinary stuff around you in magical tools. As Granny Weatherwax would say, witch can use kitchen knife to do magic and make a bread. Some would argue it is still good to have separate tools for magic, or regularly cleanse and charge your cutlery so energy wouldn’t get too muddled, and that is good approach too. Look what works for you. Suggestions for tools: mirrors, candles, knives, threads,stones, scissors.

If you want to get ideas for how to incorporate everyday things in your practice, look up tag cottage witchcraft, or hearth witchcraft, which is based on idea of making your home practices in magic. Remember that you don’t need to define yourself as anything but witch, or even that, if you don’t want. Think of ways how your passions and talents could be used as outlet for witchcraft. Sing your spells, paint your sigils, however you want. Balkan witches let their craft go out through ordinary stuff too.

Research herb lore! Living in villages and near woods Slavic witches always worked closely with herbs.  That seems to generally be witch thing, as herbs were for long time basis of spices and medicine. Research what herbs you can get your hands on (spices and weeds are easiest I’d say) can be used for, both magically and as teas, tinctures and similar ( remember that herbs should never be used instead of actual medication, and that you don’t need to bother with them if you don’t want to). Some starting points-generally, oak is associated with Perun, strength, protection and ancestors and was heavily respected and venerated. Walnut is associated with darkness, death, misfortune and evil witches and spirits so I’d say it would for example be good for curses. Hawthorn was used as means of protection against demonic spirits and evil creatures, especially vampires.

Research correspondences! People for example believed that certain workings should be undertaken only on certain days, such as holy days of saints, or that magic was best to be done on Friday. Water has different powers depending on day and place it was taken- frozen water or melted ice is used for spells of forgetting, but generally water is used for healing and purification, though time and place and way you collect it can charge it differently. Salt is of course as always amazing for protection and cleansing. Colours are also good start- black for death darkness misfortune, red for life and protection especially against spirits, white for purity cleansing contact with dead and positive energy and so on. Some things require really weird steps. For example to protect yourself from plague you needed to pull over yourself a shirt made by several naked old woman outside during Saturday night ( which I hope you will never need, and have serious doubts for how successful it would be)… If you are in for more ritualistic path it may work for you.

Spells, often called bajalice ( I’m not sure how to translate, except it vaguely means something like murmured song, or chant  I think) were either passed down, picked from folklore, or straight up invented. They consisted of several lines and often rhymed, in fact many of them sound like nursery rhymes. Some are full of seemingly nonsenses, others call upon saints.

They also often had psychical component, a piece of paper, poppet, anything…Those were used as anchors for spell, and if you were casting for other person, closer those objects were to them spell worked better. Good luck and blessings were often in form of amulets person carried on themselves, curses often required burning object or burying it in victim’s backyard.

As with all witchcraft I’d say, sympathetic magic is one of basics. Hair, nails, blood, names, images, all those are often necesarry to work magic upon another. Be careful what is done with yours.

There is strong focus on body with Balkan witchcraft (especially hair). If you feel comfortable explore it, learn about it. Your body is wonderful and reveling in it can be very beneficial not just for magic but for your health, in flesh and mind both. Just stay away from things talking about stuff like putting menstrual blood in potions or anything unsafe. If you want to explore blood magic take care. Just cutting or pricking yourself isn’t good at all.

Look out for superstitions. Most of them contain ritualistic roots. Think and ask why they are done, and how can they be used in practice. Knock on wood for good luck or to prevent bad things, it calls out to spirits. Pinkie and index finger pointed on person is used for casting curses of evil eye variety. And so on…

You don’t have to work with dead, but as amazing zmija already mentioned, there is always something undead. Graveyard dirt is powerful. Look out for ghosts and similar creatures. If you want, try to connect to ancestors or tend to graveyards. Forty days after birth and death are when such forces are most active. Our dead are always with us, and those who have passed on often frequent and play with those who replaced them.

Treat nature well. Remember that it is full of spirits ( some of which may be similar to undead-is rusalka a water nymph or drowned girl, domovoi entirely spiritual caretaker of home or ghost of distant ancestor ). Try to connect with them, to reach out if you feel safe. Dragons, vampires, fairies ( zmey, vampies/upyrsi, vilas in english sources) were most important to Balkans, as well as creatures of wilds like snakes and wolves.

Spaces American side of tumblr would call liminal are important. Thresholds, crossroads and watermills are folklorically connected with magic a lot.

Balkan Traditional Witchcraft by Radomir Ristic  from what I heard is very good book, if little awkward to read as it is translated in English.  Journal for the Academic Study of Magic  from what I have heard has some stuff on South Slavic magic in issue 2 and parts of it are  put up online, such as  The Human Body in Southern Slavic Folk Sorcery Andrija Filipovic and Anne M. Rader.   Solvenska Mitologija ( The Slavic Mythology) by  Nenad Gajić  is great start if you want easy to understand and comprehensive list of Slavic creatures, beliefs, lore and so but I don’t know if you can find it out of Balkans. Belgrade publishing house Metaphysica also apparently has some stuff, no idea if it is good.

If you know Serbian or Croatian, I would suggest websitehttp://www.starisloveni.com/index.html, which is pagan site and also has forum (you need to be registered though).  I have also found several threads of that topic on  https://forum.krstarica.com/ and https://www.ana.rs/forum/ though they require digging, especially for good stuff. Site is also bit less modern. I have recently came upon  https://thewitchandwalnut.wordpress.com/, a Wordpress blog of Balkan witch from Canada which seems very informative. @everett-the-mage is very awesome blog with lots of content on Croatian folk magic and lovely Etsy shop and lots of recommendations for reading.

Your Thoughts for OW’s Lore At Blizzcon

I like how you will indulge in detailed speculation and interpretation of OW lore and don’t center all ideas around one specific (noncanon) idea but will admit occasional personal bias. I also really appreciate that you steer relatively clear from fanon and when people respond to your writings you don’t have an attitude or seemingly disregard them. Sooo, that’s why I wrote this disgustingly long thing even tho I’m paranoid about being annoying.

 (Apology beforehand if you have answered any of these before, I have not properly stalked your blog yet. Also, excuse my rambling I did my best to be coherent. Lastly, I only have one friend who is kinda into OW and I feel bad to bother them 24/7 so I talk a lot in this.)

McCree Speculation

The following assumes that the new cinematic will be McCree’s.

If there is another known character in the short along with McCree, excluding flashbacks, who do you think it would be? 

I have 3-4 ideas even though I would not say they are likely. And with any of these I don't imagine a role any larger than Brig's in Honor and Glory or even Zarya in Infiltration.

A.) Genji. I don't think it's likely but I wouldn't be surprised. It also might be risky on Blizzard's part because many are salty about Genji's abundance of lore compared to others. (Which is dumb and I would gladly rant on it but it's not the point) Reasons:

Notable increase of McCree's interactions w/him.

McCree might've left OW in a less professional fashion than others. Which would mean he may not have anything to be alerted by for the recall. Especially since he went underground for a while.  Winston’s contact info? Long since changed.

From how I interpret “Dragons” it seems that Genji has received the call as well as offered Hanzo a choice to go w/him “The world is changing once again, Hanzo. And it's time to pick a side.” So why not others?

Genji has also been canonically in touch w/at least one other ex OW member. So why not try to get in touch with another member that we know he directly worked with?

My logic - Why would their interactions matter?

McCree's asking about how Genji dealt with the loss of his body emotionally/physically as well as Genji's response leaves room for the implication that Genji knows how he lost his arm.

Why would Genji go in person?

Well, I mean you probably don't wanna broadcast that your getting the highly illegal band back together. In which said band also is also hated by the UN and every other terrorist organization on the planet.

How will Genji know how to find him?

Cause he's a ninja, duh. But seriously McCree most likely said something before he quit OW and if not Genji would just have to look at the news and he'd be there.

B.) Sombra. If anything I wouldn't be surprised by a small reference to her rather than actually seeing her.

My logic - I expect Sombra to get involved with a little bit of everything. She likes making people question their beliefs on who is “right” or “wrong”. 

She would most likely know about the recall so if she wants to manipulate that at all she could be the one to tell McCree about it. Idk, she’s a wildcard with anything.

C.) Fio. The Blackwatch Pilot in Retribution. (I used “known” characters loosely) I'm not sure on my certainty with her, tbh. But I do find it rather intriguing. (I said no flashbacks but maybe with this one)

Fio's only lines that are not directly related towards the mission are all directed towards McCree.

The tone of them is clearly on the teasing/banter side of things.

My logic - Why have this side character show any interest in conversation outside of the task at hand? 

If she was just being used for the game mode and as lore filler it would make more sense to have only lines relating to the mission. Or have generalized ones for the team. But she has multiple focusing on the one and only Jesse McCree.

Reasons for that could be that they ran out of time to add other interactions. Which would explain why McCree does not acknowledge her comments. (The only time he was quiet during the mission is when she talked to him, rip you got denied girl) Or it could be that they knew each other previously or trained together in some of the early days of Blackwatch.

D.) Mercy. This one I would be surprised to see but it would have some logic to it.

Losing his arm, depending on the how/when/where.

She is not one of the characters who speak to him about his arm.

My logic - Who fixed his arm up for him?

Depending on how/when/where he lost his arm he may have shyed away from public hospitals. Especially with Talon  seemingly controlling so much of the press. So he may of wanted someone he personally trusted as well as doctor patient confidentiality.

Why does Mercy of all people not ask about the prosthetic? 

Out of the people who question McCree Mercy isn't one of them. Which may seem odd since she has known him for so long and her being a doctor. However, she does call out his smoking. So this proves she does pay attention to his over all health. (Which I am aware is a much older interaction) But it would have been a good opportunity to have her inquire about the arm there if she doesn't already know.

 Do you think McCree will directly receive the recall or from some other source?

What do you think of the fact that McCree lost his left arm specifically?

If the loss of McCree's arm is related to the Deadlock Gang do you speculate that it was intentionally the arm that had his tattoo on it? With how far McCree got in his career/life with OW and potentially spilling info on the gang when caught some people might want him to hurt. Not just die. To me forcefully sawing off the branding of the gang he betrayed would fit the bill. As well as be a good warning for others. (Not that blizzard would show that)

How do you imagine the camaraderie within Deadlock to be?

I ask this since in “Hero” right before the Los Muertos member throws the grenade it shows him actively choosing to help the other gang members (very broken gang members thanks to Soldier 76)onto the back of the truck instead of getting out ASAP. 

I just found that to be notable in how their social structure works. It makes more sense for Los Muertos specifically since they originally wanted to stand up against the politics and speak out for the people still suffering from the Omnic Crisis. They are not formed from the shady work they do.

Deadlock, however, doesn't seem to represent a core ideology. So I wouldn't be surprised if when OW caught some of them the others ran. Especially since McCree would probably still be pretty low in the pecking order at the time.

Can you imagine a shoot out in the warehouse tho, that'd be so risky people could be anywhere and there's no good line of sight except for where the truck drives through. Sneaky teen McCree climbing around and ish

Do you expect/hope for the origin on any mementos to be revealed?

My only idea is his iconic BAMF belt buckle. We know he's had it for quite a while since he wears it here: 

Just  thought Blizzard could do something cute with it if they wanted.

Do you have any thoughts on the Deadlock Torb skin?

Idk, this is kinda silly but people have talked about it. People do have a good point that it’s odd for him to have that skin.

Lastly, do you have any little head canons that you hope to see confirmed? 

Nothing serious just simple personal hopes from the cinematic which may or may not set you up for disappointment cause fun

Do you have any ideas for the new hero?

Personally, I do not have any super strong theories but I do have a few loose ideas. Tbh, I can’t especially convince myself of any these besides the likelihood of said character being a tank.

A.) Talon Tank

Reasons:

Moira’s origin story contains two possible indicators towards this, or another Talon member in general.

We need another main tank added to the roster (opinion)

Talon has a character for every role except tanking (weak)

My Logic lacking- Majority of this idea comes from Moira’s origin story which shows this relatively well known photo with a person or armored suit of some kind on the back panel here: 

I used to think of this to be much harder evidence than I do now since it looks like it could be a uncolored design used for the Talon members in Retribution. However, there’s another detail in the photo (including the version with the different back panel that I believe could point to another member. Each character, excluding Moira, has their line of sight going to the same spot. My doodles for emphasis:

(Reaper is kind of hard to tell but that’s basically his entire role in Talon at this point, lol) Who are they all looking at? This could just be an artistic choice for viewer immersion but it also could be rather purposeful. To me, it looks like a proposition to someone, with the panel in the back for emphasis. If not a proposition, perhaps the workings of a plan or setting clear expectations for said person. (either version works for this context) This someone must be rather important to have them all there. Moira is looking back at the rest of them, seemingly reading their expressions/body language. She seems pleased but then again she’s a tad bit odd.

Idek, I added this cause I could. This is not likely at all but will remain on the list of possibilities as long as Overwatch shall live.

My logic (or lack there of) - I have exactly one tiny speck of logic for this. Mystery characters shown and/or spoken of before the cancellation of the First Strike comic are still occasionally brought up to the OW team. Yet they have conveniently  not retconned them.  Why not say they are no longer a significant part of the story when there has been no updates on them for 2ish years? Maybe they are just keeping the possibility open. Liao and the two from Ana’s origin story are the best (only?) examples:

There is also more recently mentioned characters such as Ray and Fio. Ray was discussed mostly early this year and all we know about them is the following:

We do not know anything else about who or what Ray is. I do not 100% believe Ray is an actual person but you never know. The comment on the beard and his response to has Ray’s combat experience could be some teasing on Michael Chu’s part. To me, Ray is either a person, an omnic, or some sort of computer system used in the Orca.  I should note that another AI other than Athena would seem odd especially with the whole reason OW formed and all.

(Fio I have already discussed but at least we know she’s an actual person, hopefully...OW is weird man)

What do you think of the common theory of Sanjay Korpal being the next hero?

Personally, I think he lacks the look of an OW character. He looks rather plain to me, almost like a background character used to fill up comic space. I do believe his role is going to grow substantially in the lore but as an in game hero? Eh, I don’t know. Another thing I struggle with imagining is him being a tank like a lot of people presume. It would be interesting with what Vishkar can do with hard light technology to have a tank based on that, I will admit. Just don’t see him filling the role of that, he doesn’t strike me as someone who wants to get his hands dirty. I will admit, that this is very strictly my opinion and read of his character and by no means is anything to go off of speculation wise.

 But, if I’m wrong, then next years first cinematic should definitely be a Symmetra/Lucio one and it should definitely have Symmetra kiCKING HIS ASS FOR MANIPUlATING HER foR GOD KNOWs hOW LONG..ahem.

Do you think a comic will be released soon?

They usually put out comics on Wednesdays but they have been odd this year when it comes to them. Idk, if they’ll announce one at Blizzcon. I kinda doubt it. Personally, I’m hoping for a really kick ass Christmas comic since in Reflections it ended with Winston saying he has a good feeling for “next year” (OW’s next year cause timeline) plus last year’s was cute but underwhelming.

I think that’s all I have to ask/discuss for now? I had ideas keep popping up but I kept going back over what I already wrote and my attention span is all or nothing soooo there goes my ideas into the void.

I never realised how much I appreciate McCree’s character until the hints of him having a short started popping up. Before I liked him sure, I just never thought too deep into how they could expand on his character. Originally I was just like, “so Reyes picked this kid out of a big ass gang and had him trained among the world’s most renowned soldiers and he still is perfectly content being a cowboy?” Good for you my dudely man, good for you,

so of course we gotta start with kara danvers, love of my life, autistic superhero. she stims (lil jumps and rocks and pillow hugging which are!! adorable!!), she info dumps (mostly abt superman tbh which is honestly!! still v adorable), she meltdowns when she’s overwhelmed (see: the entirety of the red faced ep), isn’t great with sarcasm, a terrible liar, gets overstimulated quite a bit, trips over her words a lot, curls up in her cape and blankets, is v articulate w words but terrible at spelling (which yes of course could be related to the fact that english is her second language (which i wish they’d delve into more bc that’s fascinating) but spelling problems combined w how ridiculously clumsy she is are p big indicators are dyspraxia, which is common in ppl w autism), is very very very tactile

then of course! carter!! honestly one of the most autistic coded characters in the arrowverse (just narrowly beating ray palmer, imo). finds it hard to hold eye contact, info dumps a Lot (but only to ppl he feels comfortable speaking to, else he doesn’t speak at all), isn’t great at empathy, speaks v plainly, finds it hard to joke and be sarcastic

and also. hm. i was realising that in one of my aus alex seemed to have? autistic traits?? and i was like hm that’s not canon. then i was like. wait a minute. bc alex danvers?? finds empathy hard (especially if it’s not with someone she personally cares abt), is pretty good in social situations if she has a script for them (see: absolutely freaking out when maggie first turned up, which like don’t get me wrong she’s 100% a useless lesbian but also not realising maggie was flirting w her? not understanding that maggie might not like that alex tried to celebrate valentine’s day when she flat out stated that she hated it? kara going missing so she just straight up dumps maggie bc she can’t deal w all these emotions at the same time?), has a pretty black and white view (i know it seems p morally grey to everyone else but like. either alex comes out w her sister or not at all. which seems black and white to me), doesn’t really touch ppl? unless she really trust them? special interests are kara and bioengineering and could honestly talk abt either of them for hours. bedside manner what bedside manner? ‘how to show i love somebody and would kill and/or die for them?? *punches winn* perfect’

winn!! me, through tears: kara and winn are autistic best friends and they love each other so much and you can quote me on that. talks in inappropriate moments, info dumps abt his many special interests (though mostly computers and pop culture), trips over his words a lot!! stims w his toys (also probably likes the noise typing makes), hates lying and is awful at it

Here's my another idea: Kyoko Phelps & Shuichi Bekowsky and the Mystery of Twogami. Souda was looking for Twogami and thought he was lost (but in reality, he was disguised as different person). As Souda give a pic of Twogami to them, it was Byakuya. YES, BYAKUYA HAVE TO GET INVOLVED THE MESS AGAIN.

THE IMPERSONATOR’S DAY OFF

Kyoko Phelps walked down the hallway, looking at a notebook she had been writing in.

(Kyoko) “I don’t get this at all…Somehow this book keeps filling in itself whenever I ask someone questions. Not only that, it somehow fills out the info I don’t even know about the person yet hyper accurately, and that’s not even getting to the face drawings…”

(Shuichi’s Voice) “Hey, Phelps!”

Kyoko looked up and saw Shuichi wave to her as he was talking with Kaede.

(Kyoko) “Hello Bekowsky. I take it this is the lucky lady?”

(Shuichi) “Yup. Kaede, this is my partner, Kyoko Phelps. We serve in the same desk, Traffic. Right now we’re off duty so that’s why we’re at school as of recently.”

(Kaede) “I told you to call me sweetheart Shui-…Um, hi there Kyoko! It’s nice to meet you!”

Kyoko shook hands with Kaede firmly.

(Kaede) “You’ve been treating the love of my life good haven’t you?”

(Shuichi) “K-Kaede!”

(Kyoko) “Of course. We’re partners after all. Besides, SOMEONE has to give him relationship advice-”

Kyoko turned to Shuichi with a playful smirk.

(Kyoko) “Don’t want you to end up in the doghouse after all-”

(Shuichi) “PHELPS!”

Kaede laughed heartily, before turning to Shuichi.

(Kaede) “I’m glad she has a sense of humor!”

(Shuichi) “I…don’t think that’s very funny-”

(Soda’s voice) “BYAKUYA! BYAKUYAAAAA!!!!!”

Soda frantically looked around the hallways, frantically searching for Byakuya Togami. He basically looked like a psychopath, shouting his name so loud to the point anyone could hear him from the cafeteria downstairs.

(Shuichi) “Isn’t that the Ultimate Mechanic?”

(Kaede) “Yeah, what’s he calling Byakuya for?”

(Kyoko) “Hm…Bekowsky, let’s check it out. Until next time, Kaede.”

(Kaede) “Yeah sure thing! See ya guys!”

Kaede hugged Shuichi fiercely, then waved them goodbye. Shuichi readjusted his hat, and turned to Kyoko.

(Shuichi) “You REALLY had to make that joke?!”

(Kyoko) “Oh come along my intense protege. Have a bit of fun once in a while.”

Kyoko and Shuichi walked up to Soda while displaying their badges.

(Kyoko) “Phelps and Bekowsky, LAPD. What seems to be the trouble?”

(Soda) “Oh thank god, the cops! Listen, a friend of mine has gone missing!”

(Kyoko) “You mean Byakuya Togami right? We heard you shouting his name.”

(Shuichi) “Wait, missing? What do you mean? Me and Phelps saw him a day or two ago.”

(Soda) “Huh? What do you mean? Oh! You mean that guy who LOOKS like Byakuya right? Sorry, but that ain’t him!”

(Shuichi) “H-Huh? What do you mean?”

(Kyoko) “…Humor me mister…?”

(Soda) “Soda. Kazuichi Soda.”

(Kyoko) “Mister Soda, do you have any photos of him, by any chance?”

(Soda) “Huh? Oh yeah, here ya go.”

Soda handed the two a picture of Byakuya, and both of them were shocked seeing the Togami Soda was talking about.

(Kyoko) “…Well this is new.”

(Shuichi) “Well, he uh…certainly looks like Byakuya but…bigger.”

(Soda) “Can you help me find him?! I was going to ask him something, but I’m afraid something’s happened to him!”

(Shuichi) “Well Phelps, what are you thinking?”

(Kyoko) “Hm…I wasn’t aware there was someone else who looked like Byakuya…perhaps, we should confront Byakuya ourselves. Come along.”

Shuichi nodded, and everyone followed Kyoko into the library. 

(Shuichi) “Ah, of course he’s in here.”

(Kyoko) “Bya-”

(Soda) “WHAT THE HELL?! THAT’S NOT BYAKUYA! THAT’S NOT HIM AT ALL!”

(Byakuya) “…Pardon?-”

As soon as he saw Shuichi and Kyoko again, he braced himself. If this was anything like the brownie incident, is that this was going to be very fucking stupid.

(Byakuya) “You two again. 2nd time this week. What crazy mess did I get myself into this time?”

(Kyoko) “No words needed really, just look at this.”

(Shuichi) “Uh Phelps, is that a good ide-”

Byakuya spat out his tea violently, and stood up instantly, gripping the photo hard.

(Byakuya) “What’s the meaning of this?! Why is this…slob looking exactly like me?!”

(Kyoko) “That’s what me and Bekowsky want to get to the bottom of, Togami.”

(Soda) “Who are you really?! Cause you sure aren’t the Togami I know!”

(Shuichi) “I’m…gonna have to ask you to stay quiet Soda. Let the LAPD handle this and uh…You’re causing a scene.”

Soda turned around and saw lots of students look at him with a death glare as they were trying to study.

(Soda) “S-sorry…”

(Byakuya) “Let’s leave. I wish to find this imposter myself..”

(Soda) “B-Before that!”

Soda quickly walked over to the students and handed them the picture of Byakuya.

(Soda) “Have you seen this man?”

(Toko) “Nope. L-Leave me alone.”

(Sayaka) “I haven’t.”

(???) “Isn’t he right behind you?”

(Taka) “No, apologies. Also, please do not yell in the library, it is not welcome in this kind of environment.”

(Soda) “Welp, worth a try.”

(Shuichi) “…Wait, who’s that gi-”

(Kyoko) “Come along Bekowsky, or we’re gonna leave you behind.”

Shuichi shrugged, and followed Kyoko. After walking around the school, they couldn’t find him virtually anywhere. It seemed that all their questioning had come to a major roadblock.

(Byakuya) “This is getting us nowhere. I thought you two were good at your jobs.”

(Shuichi) “Not when there’s this little evidence…”

(Kyoko) “Is there something we’re overlooking?”

(Soda) “Hmm…What if…that one in the photo is an imposter?…Wait, WHAT IF THE ONE IN FRONT OF US IS THE IMPOSTER!”

(Kyoko/Shuichi) “…”

(Byakuya) “What are you talking about?! I AM THE REAL BYAKUYA TOGAMI!”

(Soda) “Oh thats full of shit! You agree with me, right Miss Phelps?!”

MAXIMUM DOUBT TIME

(Kyoko) “That is not the case, mister Soda. In fact, this entire case has been a waste of the LAPD’s time.”

(Soda) “H-Huh?!”

(Shuichi) “Oh god, here we go-”

(Kyoko) “Tell me, Soda. What do you need from this Byakuya?”

(Soda) “W-Well um..that’s very private!”

(Kyoko) “Would this happen to do something with Sonia Nevermind?”

(Soda) “HUH?!”

(Shuichi) “Me and my partner know about your thirst for the Ultimate Princess. Heck, even the whole school knows! Tell them, Togami.”

(Byakuya) “Don’t tell me tha-…”ahem”Yes, even I know that you have a thing for her. But unfortunately for you, she doesn’t have her sights on you, does she?”

(Soda) “E-EGH!”

(Kyoko) “She’s very fond of the Ultimate Breeder, Gundham Tanaka, and you were about to ask a classmate for something to impress her, weren’t you!”

(Soda) “O-Of course not! What does this have to do with Miss Sonia?!”

(Byakuya) “Everything actually, seeing how you kept messing up the LAPD’s and my questioning, you’re just after his…No, MY money, weren’t you?”

(Soda) “GAH!”

(Shuichi) “With that, I don’t think we need much more evidence, now do we? Phelps?”

(Kyoko) “Cuff him, Bekowsky.”

(Soda) “WHAT?!-”

(Kyoko) “The Bureau is gonna LOVE you, Soda. Let’s see what they think about wasting police time and resources on a wild goose chase like this!”

Shuichi handcuffed Soda, and shoved him towards Byakuya.

(Kyoko) “Alright, we’ll let you take it from here, Togami.”

(Byakuya) “Heh, with pleasure.”

(Soda) “NO, PLEASE! THIS ISN’T CONSTITUTIONAL! MISS SONIAAAA! HELP MEEEE!!!-”

As Byakuya dragged Soda away, Kyoko and Shuichi took a deep breath.

(Kyoko) “So, what do you think?”

Kyoko and Shuichi turned to the door behind them, and a voice that sounded exactly like Byakuya’s came out of it.

(Twogami’s Voice) “Not bad, not bad at all…It was nice to have a day off from being Togami for once. Looks like I made the right choice contacting the LAPD.”

(Kyoko) “Of course, Soda most likely would have recognized you, correct?”

(Twogami) “Yes…Thank you, Phelps and Bekowsky from saving me from that idiot…Speaking of, when will he realize that you two were off duty?”

(Shuichi) “Eh, most likely when the boys in blue we ordered to come here start cracking up.”

(Kyoko) “Well, we shall see you later.”

(Twogami) “You know, Phelps. It seems your sense of humor has picked up today for some reason…Not that I’m complaining, no one likes a stick in the mud detective…By the way, I’ve been meaning to ask, we’re in Japan so…Why are you called the LAPD? It stands for the Los Angeles Police Department.”

(Shuichi/Kyoko) “…”

They both looked at each other, then quickly walking away, and dodging the issue.

(Twogami) “…Guys?…Hello?…T-The door is still locked!”

Post-Case Report:

Byakuya Togami was then called out by most of the school the next day, for being so incredibly fat, and somehow losing it all in one day, and at the same time getting a wardrobe change. When he called Kyoko Phelps and Shuichi Bekowsky into question, both of them responded as if they had never done the case yesterday, making him deal with people’s bullshit for the next week and a half. At the same time, it was noted an alarmingly high amount of people were concerned about Kyoko Phelps messing with people had increased tenfold during this week alone.
