yeah the rundown is basically people ran to the post from twitter and tumblr to argue with her, she kept copy pasting the same responses as she got progressively more defensive and transparent (lol a lot of 'you only disagree with me bc you're all lgbt' and some weird complaints about buzzwords and anti-leftist bullshit), the mods finally locked and deleted the post with some horseshit about how they don't tolerate namecalling to which people were like ? ok first of all what took you so long and also are you just not gonna mention the homophobia? which first made the mod in question defensive like "we have our own lives" etc etc and then said posts critiquing dan and phil are allowed lmao? which again made people mad because okay sure it took awhile whatever we can see past that but fuck do you mean critiquing them. how is "they talk too much about being gay" a valid critique. so then in the end the mod was like okay yeah bad wording we locked it bc of the homophobia and the fighting that broke loose in the replies, and the namecalling in question was largely caught by the automod so it wasn't visible in the thread itself. sure, cool, whatever. op got banned and the post is gone i guess that was the main goal

poorly handled in classic reddit mod fashion but i'm just gonna let it go and hope if there's a next time (hopefully not but) they'll be less spineless about it
