rewatched once upon time for the first time in forever i cant believe ive never realised or thought about the variety of the memories that they go through?

like the doctor's and vinder's are real, though with the highlighted contrast that she doesnt know how it ends and wants to and he knows exactly how it ends and doesnt want to get there again (i wonder if he wouldve made the same choice again? if he couldve done something different in this reliving, would he have?)

whereas yaz and dan live memories that havent happened and seem to be scenarios of their possible lives if they hadnt met the doctor. here with the difference that yazs memories also plausibly could be visions of the future ("this isnt my house!" yet. "these things havent happened to me!" yet.) while dan's date with diane is not the one he missed out on bc he got kidnapped. also dan's are a lot more unstable, he keeps jumping through time, meeting people he cant meet, even sees the time mites. i know they say something is also wrong with yazs timeline bc the angel is in there but honestly i dont really get it all (it's coming after yaz to get to the doctor, right?)

#another thing is i felt like i kinda got what swarm and azure were talking abt to the doctor a bit more #abt the founding conflict and all that #but only a BIT fhkgjhg still dont really get it #a battle between time and space? arent they two parts of the same coin?#but it was fun to think abt the timelords trying (in vain according to swarm and azure) to chain time #and maybe it IS in vain idk #but also to think abt like their ruling of the whole universe and their status as TIME lords. same coin etc #idk #i cant believe it's been 3 years already #also this episode has like 5 endings damn #it just keeps ending fghkjkjh
