Voice in the Wind - ALTERNATE ENDING
JASON TODD X READER
I have never really written angst before, and I was really happy with the way my last work came out, but I couldn't help but want the reader and Jason to end up together in the end ;’) So I wrote a quick alternate ending to the same work, a happy ending this time, enjoy!
SUMMARY: Jason has been struggling with the idea of a relationship, fighting inner battles with himself constantly, you convince him to open up.
The rooftop of a Gotham skyscraper was cold beneath Jason Todd’s boots. His breath formed small clouds in the air, the city’s ever-present hum a background noise to his thoughts. He stood facing the edge, arms crossed, eyes scanning the streets below. It was late — or early, depending on how you looked at it — and the city was bathed in a sickly orange glow from the streetlights. Gotham was always awake, like a predator that never rested, and Jason… Jason was just another hunter in its maze of shadows.
He was trying to focus. ‘Focus, Todd,’ he told himself. ‘Don’t be weak. Stay sharp.’ But there was a problem. Your face kept slipping into his mind. No matter how hard he tried to shove it away, there you were again, with that crooked smile and those damn eyes that could cut straight through his walls.
Your voice rang in his ears. He hated your voice because it followed him everywhere, like an earworm he couldn’t get rid of. And your name. He hated your name because it made him feel like he could say it, like he could speak it aloud and claim it, and he didn’t want to claim anything. Not You.
"She’s just a distraction," he muttered under his breath, the words lost in the wind. "Just a damn distraction."
Except you werent. He knew it.
He didn’t know how you had got under his skin, but you had. It had started innocently enough: a few random meetings while he was on patrol, a conversation here and there. But then something shifted. Something he couldn’t control, couldn’t shake. It wasn’t that he wanted to care about you; he didn’t. He couldn’t. Not when he knew better, when he was haunted by the ghosts of his past mistakes. People like him didn’t get to have things like that. People like him didn’t get to have… normal.
It was so fucking frustrating.
"Stupid." Jason spat the word out as if it could wash away the thoughts, the feelings he didn’t want to deal with. There was no place for feelings in the world he lived in. It was all blood and violence, adrenaline and fear, and you… you were none of that. You were calm. Grounded. Real. You made him feel like he wasn’t constantly running from something.
Nope. Not happening.
"Jason?"
The voice broke through his internal tirade, familiar and warm, cutting through the cold like a blade. Jason didn’t turn around. Didn’t even flinch. But his heart did a strange little lurch. He hated that it did, but it did.
There you were, standing a few feet away, your arms wrapped around yourself to shield against the Gotham night. You didn’t even seem to notice how out of place you were up here — on this rooftop, so far above the city you loved but could never truly understand. You weren't like him. Never would be.
"You shouldn’t be here," he said, his tone as dismissive as he could manage. "Go home, It’s dangerous up here."
Your eyes flickered with that same mixture of concern and defiance he was growing all too familiar with. "And I’m guessing you’re worried about me?" you said, your voice laced with quiet amusement.
Jason’s lip curled slightly, though it wasn’t a smile. More like a reflex. “I worry about everyone, you're no different.” He said flatly, his back still turned.
But even as he said it, the doubt crept in. You had a way of doing that — making him second-guess every cynical, hardened part of himself that wanted to pretend he didn’t care. But he didn’t let it show. He never did.
"I’m not helpless." you said softly, stepping a little closer, close enough that he could feel the heat radiating off you. "You don’t need to protect me. You don't have to worry me. Just please, tell me what's on your mind. Talk to me. Let me in." You wanted him so bad to just admit that he wanted you as much as you wanted him. You tried too hard to get him to open up to you, to get him to see what your relationship could be. He never listened.
The words hit him harder than they should have. He wanted to argue, to push you away again. You didn’t understand. You didn’t get what the world was really like, what it could do to someone like him. Someone who had already been destroyed once, who didn’t want to give it a second chance.
Instead, he just shrugged, trying to appear indifferent. "I’m not your protector. Just someone who knows better."
You raised an eyebrow, that familiar smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth. "So you’re telling me I shouldn’t be out here, too, but you’re not protecting me?"
Jason didn’t answer. His gaze drifted away from her, back to the city lights, to the shadows below. But he didn’t walk away. He never did.
"You really think I can’t handle myself?" Your voice was quieter now, and for a moment, it almost sounded like you were teasing. Almost.
Jason let out a breath, unable to keep the edge out of his voice. "You think you’re the only one who can handle themselves?" He turned his head just enough to catch her gaze. "This place doesn’t make you stronger. It makes you smarter. And if you’re not smart enough to get the hell out of it, you’ll get crushed. And that’s not something I’m willing to let happen."
The words left his mouth sharper than he’d intended, but he couldn’t stop them now. He never could when it came to you.
You didn’t say anything at first. Just looked at him with those damn eyes that felt like they saw straight through his bullshit. Then, slowly, you took a step closer, not intimidated, but calm.
"Jason, you don’t have to pretend with me. I’m not going anywhere."
The words hit him like a punch to the gut, though he’d never admit it. "I’m not pretending," he muttered, too quickly, and too defensively.
The city stretched out beneath them, vast and indifferent, like a black sea dotted with the flickering lights of a thousand lives he would never touch. Jason stood there, his shoulders tense, his fists clenched. You were still beside him, too close for comfort, your presence a constant reminder of everything he couldn’t afford to feel.
Focus, he told himself. Don’t let her in. Don’t let her do this to you.
But it was already too late.
You were right. He was pretending.
Jason’s jaw tightened at the thought, and he could feel the familiar coldness creeping in — the walls he had built so carefully around himself, the ones that were starting to crack and crumble under your quiet, persistent gaze. The feeling of wanting to reach for you, of wanting to say the things that scared him more than anything else in this broken city, gnawed at him like a sickness.
But no. He couldn’t do it. Not to you. Not again.
"You don’t get it," Jason said, his voice rougher than he meant it to be. He didn’t look at you, but he could feel you staring at him, that soft gaze that always seemed to see straight through him. "This isn’t… this isn’t some fairy tale. You can’t just waltz in here and fix me. I’m not… I’m not someone you can save. You don’t know what it’s like, and you never will."
He finally turned to face you, his eyes burning with something he couldn’t even name. "I’m dangerous. And you think you can handle me? You think you can be around me and still come out unscathed? You have no idea what this world does to people like us."
You didn’t back down. Of course you didn’t. You never did. Instead, you stepped closer, her voice low but steady. "I know enough, Jason. I know you’re scared. You don’t have to push me away—"
"Stop," Jason cut you off, his voice sharp, almost desperate. He took a step back, as if your proximity was suffocating him. "Stop pretending like you know me. Like you understand anything about me."
Your brows furrowed in confusion. "Jason, I—"
"I’m not the guy you think I am!" He didn’t shout, but his voice trembled with the raw emotion he refused to show. "I’m not the guy you can fix. You think I don’t care about you? That I don’t—" He stopped himself, the words lodged in his throat like broken glass. He could already feel the heat in his chest, the thumping of his heart, the same damn pain that had been there since he came back from the dead.
His fists clenched tighter. "I’m not your fucking hero. I’m a killer. A broken, fucked-up, damaged thing, and you don’t want to get close to that."
The words came out in a rush, desperate, but also… final. His eyes were wild now, the storm inside him too strong to ignore, the war he’d been fighting with himself spilling out in a way he hadn’t intended.
You stood there, silent for a moment, your face unreadable. Then your expression softened, a mixture of hurt and understanding flickering behind your eyes.
"I’m not trying to fix you," you said quietly, your voice steady despite the tension crackling in the air between them. "I’m just trying to be here. I’m trying to be someone you don’t have to push away."
Jason didn’t respond right away. He couldn’t. The words felt too raw, too close to something real. And that scared him more than anything.
"You don’t understand," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "You can’t understand. I can’t let you in. Not like this. Not after everything."
He took another step back, further into the shadows, his heart pounding in his chest. Every instinct in him screamed to get away from you, to run, to push you out of his life before you were swallowed up by the darkness he carried with him.
"Jason," your voice was quiet now, soft, like you were trying to reach him through the thick walls he had built. "Please."
But he couldn’t do it. Not for you.
Jason shook his head, more to himself than to you. He turned his back on you, the weight of his decision heavy in the pit of his stomach. His feet moved automatically, the thought of staying with you—of letting you see him, really see him—was too much to bear.
Before he could even reach the edge of the rooftop, he heard your voice again, fragile but clear.
"You don’t have to do this alone."
He froze. For a second, everything inside him wanted to turn around, to reach for you, to tell you how much he wanted to believe that. How much he wanted to let you in. But he couldn’t. He couldn’t let anyone in.
Jason's gaze lingered on the skyline, the weight of the city pressing down on him. His fists were still clenched, his jaw set tight, but inside, a storm was brewing, one that was just as chaotic as the one in the streets below. His heart was a mess of confusion and fear, and even though he wanted to push you away — needed to push you away — something about your quiet presence beside him made it feel impossible.
When you spoke again, your voice was gentle, almost like a whisper, yet it cut through the thick air between you with the clarity of truth. "You don't have to do this alone, Jason."
His eyes flickered to yours, and for a moment, he could barely breathe. He’d heard those words before, but never with the kind of sincerity that made him feel like he wasn’t alone in the universe. That maybe, just maybe, there was someone who saw through his walls, someone who wasn’t afraid of the darkness he carried.
He shook his head, his voice rough, trying to hold onto the hardness that kept him safe. "I told you, you don’t get it. You don’t know what it’s like."
"I don’t need to," you replied softly. "I just need you to know that I’m not going anywhere. Not if you let me stay."
Jason’s heart pounded in his chest, the words stirring something deep inside of him, something that scared him more than anything. He wanted to say something — push you away, explain why this couldn’t happen, why he couldn’t let you in.
But the words stuck in his throat.
You took a step closer, not backing down, but not rushing him either. And for the first time, in the midst of all the noise inside his head, he realized that you weren’t asking him to fix himself. You were just asking him to be real. To stop pretending. To let you in.
Without thinking, without even fully knowing what he was doing, Jason reached out, his hand hovering just inches from yours. The proximity felt like a tug, a pull he couldn’t ignore. You didn’t flinch, didn’t pull away. Instead, you stood there, looking at him with those eyes that had always been so damn patient, so damn sure.
And in that moment, something inside Jason broke open — a crack in the walls that had kept him safe for so long. He didn’t need to pretend anymore.
He moved before he could stop himself.
One step, then two, and suddenly, he was close enough to feel your breath against his skin, close enough that he could see the way your lips parted slightly, as though you were holding your own breath, waiting for him to make the next move.
And then, like the world had shrunk down to just the two of you, Jason closed the gap.
His lips brushed against yours in a slow, tentative kiss, like he was afraid you’d disappear if he pressed any harder. But you didn’t pull away. Instead, your hand reached up, cupping the side of his face, and you kissed him back, steady and sure.
Jason’s heart skipped a beat, his mind racing, but in that moment, it didn’t matter. The tension that had held him captive for so long unraveled, piece by piece, until all that was left was this — you, here with him, unafraid.
He kissed you deeper this time, a soft but desperate need in the way his mouth met yours. The world felt a little less heavy, like maybe, just maybe, he didn’t have to carry the weight of it all on his own anymore.
When the kiss finally broke, Jason’s forehead rested against yours, both of you breathing in the same air, your hearts syncing in a way that made everything else fade into the background. He didn’t say anything at first. He couldn’t. But the words he didn’t have to speak were already there — in the way his hands found your waist, in the way his body relaxed against yours.
“I’m scared,” he whispered, his voice rough with the admission. "Scared I’m not… enough. That I’m too broken for anyone to be here. To be what you need."
You leaned into him, your arms wrapping around him, grounding him with the warmth of your touch. “You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be you. And that’s enough for me, Jason. That’s more than enough.”
His chest tightened at your words, the sincerity of them striking deep. He wasn’t used to hearing that — wasn’t used to anyone seeing him for who he really was, not the mask he wore to survive, not the monster he sometimes thought he was.
But you did.
He let out a breath, the weight of everything in him finally beginning to lift. “I don’t know how to do this,” he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
You smiled softly, brushing a strand of hair from his face. “We’ll figure it out. Together.”
Jason closed his eyes, his heart a little lighter than before. Maybe he didn’t have to have all the answers. Maybe he didn’t have to be the hero, or the villain, or the broken man he always saw in the mirror.
Maybe he just needed to be someone who didn’t have to face the world alone.
As you stood there, wrapped in each other’s arms, Jason realized that he wasn’t as lost as he thought. Not anymore.
For the first time in a long time, he was ready to face whatever came next.
And he was ready to face it with you.

Shiro snorts. "If he kills me, I'd expect nothin' less." He's not the forgive and forget type. If someone hurts him, he wants to get even. If he was murdered, he'd still want that. "Also I'd haunt you, for fun. So I hope you're into ghost sex." Ghosts are supposed to haunt a place that holds a lot of memories, right? Well Ichigo holds all of his happiest memories.
For a second he's a little embarrassed. He shouldn't have said anything. He should have acted like he didn't know what shirt Ichigo was talking about. And then he isn't sure how to take Ichigo's response or that crooked little smirk. It sounds a little like Ichigo's telling him to keep the shirt. Or maybe like he wants to pretend Shiro didn't just make things weird and clingy. He forces a huffed laugh and looks over the closet as an excuse to not look at Ichigo. "You might be right. Even if it is in there somewhere, I probably couldn't find it so I hope you don't want it back."
He arches a brow but cant help but smirk, enjoying that sassy eye roll. "Right. A consultant for what company? What kinda consultant work?" The idea of a day time uniform implies a nighttime uniform and that's something he wants to see. And remove. "Were you in your night uniform last night?" Naked.
It's his turn to roll his eyes, shaking his head slightly. "I do like to show off, but I rarely lure store employees into the dressing room." He can't say never, though. "What?" He scoffs, "Those outfits are all fantastic and sexy. My drunk and high fashion sense is as impeccable as my sober one." He glances at the keys Ichigo pulls from his pocket. Driving separate hadn't crossed his mind, but, "Yeah, sure. I guess you don't really have much reason to come back here afterward."
"About my- ?" He almost says boyfriend, but stops himself and shrugs. "I dunno. I guess I did. It's hard not to wonder if the cop you're bangin', who clearly knows who the biggest drug dealer in town is, is just being a cop. Under cover or whatever. Maybe it just looked less suspicious to be upfront about it when I asked him if he was a cop. You were worried about that girl in my bathroom, but the cop would be the right way to do it." Shiro's aware of his own weaknesses. A hot guy with that added element of forbidden and dangerous that being a police officer brings certainly got his attention.
He tosses his phone onto the bed after sending Ichigo the lady's contact info. He knows Ichigo would treat her right if he contacts her at all.
That laugh sounds uncomfortable. Part of him wishes they could dispense with the trying they're both doing, the other part of him is grateful for the efforts. "It's true, I been bad at not giving you what you want from the very start." Shirt? But it only takes him a second, because when he moved out of his apartment he found that shirt. He thought about giving it to Renji to give back to Ichigo, but he couldn't quite make himself do it. "That was your favorite?"
He gets his answer the moment Ichigo looks at him. They know each other well enough for him to read Ichigo just fine. It's flattering. Then the verbal answer Ichigo gives is weirdly touching. It's very sweet, and maybe too honest, but he finds himself liking it anyway. If they can't be together, maybe they can at least be on good terms. Even not being partners, he likes Ichigo's company.
He snorts. "Of course I did, I look good in or out of anything." But being put to bed sounds nice. Warm and cozy and comfortable sounds nice. He is tired, mentally at least. He offers up a little half smirk at the reassurance. "Let's get outta here. Where do you wanna go?"
#blacksun#tsp activity check#it would be the least alone he's felt while falling asleep in a long time 🥲#Pffff but who does Ichigo think he's fooling he could just as easily told Shiro he's being paranoid#instead of hauling ass to his place to make sure he is

𝖆 𝖒𝖆𝖙𝖙𝖊𝖗 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖎𝖒𝖊 - mob boss!chan x reader
wc: 3,519
cw: some threats of violence, a little angsty but happy ending, SMUT MDNI.
synopsis: you loved him, more than anything. but being a secret was never what you wanted. the gilded cage you seemed to exist exclusively in was suffocating you, so you decided it was time to get out. but chan wont let you go that easily.
a/n: i was driving and clearly i was not paying attention because thats when this idea was born. as usual this was beta'd by bestie @httpdwaekki and she sourced the pretty pictures for me too. enjoy!
sw: dirty talk, daddy kink, unprotected sex (pls be smarter than that), breeding kink if you squint, general roughness, threats of violence (not toward the reader), chan has a gun. idk probably more but im bad at this shit.
the creak of the church doors flying open should have startled you like it did everyone else, but you knew better. it was only a matter of time before he came for you. he didn't like his things to go missing. truthfully, you were shocked it even took this long.
the click of his (no doubt expensive) shoes on the shiny wooden floor of the church hung in the air like the ticking of a clock, counting down to either your demise or your bliss you weren't sure which one. after a long pause you turned your head just enough to face him.
“can we help you?” you asked, more nonchalant than anyone else would have been in a situation like this. the muffled gasps and muttering from the crowd in front of you almost made you laugh but you held it in.
the charged energy in the room was due to the fact that the man interrupting your wedding was none other than the most fearsome businessman and gangster this city had ever seen. but to you? he was your asshole ex boyfriend.
“oh can you help me? that's what you're going to say? isn't this a little much, yeobo?” he replied, voice dripping with condescension and his hand over his heart in mock surprise.
“a little much? god you're so out of touch it's actually insane christopher. news flash, you're not the groom, you're not even supposed to be here!” you seethed, fully turning to face him. your groom (hand selected by your parents) stood next to you shaking like a leaf. you could feel the nervous sweat from his hand slicking the surface of your palm and it made your skin crawl so you dropped his hold as you stared fiercely down the aisle.
chan's face split into the wide grin you’d once been accustomed to seeing. “are you done now? you've gotten your attention and you've pissed me off, the job is done. let's go.” he said, walking further down the aisle toward you.
“jesus christ, you really are insane! i should have listened when people told me you were a full on fucking basket case but no. i was stupid enough to fall in love with you. fat lot of good that did for me!” you shouted at his approaching form.
you could feel your skin heating up and you could hear the blood rushing in your ears you were so mad. who the hell did he think he was, intruding on your life like this?! it's his fault you were in this situation anyway!
***
you had been with chan for 3 years, and in that time he made it a point to keep your relationship a secret. it hurt seeing his face splashed on newspapers and tabloids all over the city speculating on who he might be dating or who he’d been seen with recently. it hurt even more when he recapped nights where he was out to dinner with his men or allies and their wives. you couldn't help but feel like it was because you weren't enough. you felt like you weren't pretty enough, weren't tough enough, weren't worthy to be seen outside his penthouse apartment. and a girl can only take so much of that for so long.
so a few months ago on a particularly lonely night of chan being out doing god knows what with lord knows who, you packed only your sentimental personal belongings (nothing he purchased for you, which was a hell of a lot of your things), wrote a note saying nothing more than “no one took me, not that you'd care even if they did. i’ll be a bird in a gilded cage no longer. goodbye.” and walked out his door for the last time.
the fancy things he could provide for you behind closed doors weren't enough to soothe the searing pain in your soul of feeling like the man you loved was ashamed of you. three years together and not even a hint at things changing any time soon was enough to make you return home to your parents and agree to the arranged marriage they had been working on as they had no knowledge of the relationship you were already in. and who knows, maybe you could learn to love your soon-to-be husband Seo-jun.
***
you grabbed the skirt of your simple wedding dress and stomped down the few stairs of the platform, heading toward chan. when you finally stood in front of him you could see the darkness under his eyes like he hadn't been sleeping. his hair was gorgeous as usual but a little longer than he was used to wearing it. and his knuckles were raw and bruised. you almost felt bad for him but then, you remembered he made the bed he was lying in so why should you care about how uncomfortable it might be?
“why are you so upset with me yeobo? hmm? what did i do that was so bad you had to leave me in the middle of the night? i took care of you didn't i? anything you asked for, i gave it to you.” chan asked, grabbing your hand. something dark flashed in his eyes and his upper lip curled when his fingers felt Seo-jun's ring on your finger. “what made you hate me so much that you ran off to be with this fucking nobody?”
“you just don't get it. and you never did. that's part of the problem chris. you don't see me. you don't know me. no one did.” you murmured, taking your hand back and smoothing the fabric of your dress, eyes cast down. “with Seo-jun we can walk down the street holding hands and he doesn't think twice about it. we can have dinner in a restaurant, one that has other people in it. not one that's been emptied out and all the blinds closed and the staff paid to keep their mouths shut.” you inhaled a shaky breath before continuing. “i couldn't do that with you. and the worst part is, i don't think you even wanted to. you were happy to exclude me from things. happy to hide me. but i don't want that. i never did. and if you had no intentions of marrying me, it was my responsibility to myself to find someone who would.” you dabbed your fingers under your eyes and sniffled before straightening your back and meeting his eyes. you weren't prepared to see the agony in his face.
“i- i don't...i didn't know...i didn't know that is how you saw it all, how you saw me. i'm so sorry sweetheart. i wish you had talked to me.” chan breathed. he reached out his right hand and set it on your shoulder, rubbing soothing little circles with his thumb. after a moment he slid it up to cradle the back of your neck and tug you closer to him.
“i should have explained. i should have been more perceptive. i never wanted you to feel this way, i swear i didnt.” chan’s voice shook as he spoke to you.
“well it's too late now. please just go. please.” you whispered, trying to back away from him. you couldn't talk about this anymore. but in your attempt to move away from him, his grip on you tightened. he pulled you toward him forcefully enough that you were now chest to chest.
“you think that i will ever let you go again? i stayed away when you left, i thought maybe you needed time to be angry at me for whatever it was and then you'd come back when you were ready. but then i saw your face in the newspaper, the wedding announcement section no less. and i laughed. i laughed because surely that couldn't be true.” a bitter laugh rattled out of chan's mouth, flames of wild jealousy flickering in his eyes.
“as long as there is air in my lungs and my heart is beating in my chest, you will never belong to another man. ever. do you understand me?” he growled.
“i told you in my note and i'll tell you again now to your face, i wont be in a cage anymore. i cant do that to myself chris. i won’t. besides, you never would have married me. you just want to possess me, but you don't want anyone to know that you do.” you said softly, tears finally slipping down your cheeks unrestrained.
“why do you keep saying that? why do you think i'm ashamed of you?” he pleaded, his brows drawing together in confusion.
“what else am i left to think when you keep me hidden away in your penthouse? i'm not invited to dinners. i'm not invited to parties. no one you know, knows i exist! that's why every person in this room is so shocked to see you here! no one had any idea we were together, because that's what you wanted. i was a toy for you and now that someone else has me you're upset. don't you understand how painful that is for me?!” you wailed, not wanting to keep talking about it. you pleaded with your eyes for him to stop this torture but he was having none of it.
“are you insane? you think i wanted to keep us a secret? i wanted to tip toe around with you? no! but i had to! i know you think you know what i do but you have no idea the dangers that come with it. you are my most prized possession and the very knowledge of that is ammunition for some people in my world.” chan cried. “i would have loved nothing more than to scream it from the rooftops how much i fucking love you but i knew that would put you in danger and if anything ever happened to you i would have burned the world to ash. but the idea of your safety is out the window now, you forced my hand with this wedding bullshit and now it's all out in the open. everybody fucking knows now!” he bellowed.
realization washed over you like a bucket of ice water. he was right. you never considered that you might be in harms way if his enemies knew of your existence.
“i couldn't fucking marry you because then our marriage would be public record. anyone digging into me would find you that way. i wasn't willing to lay your life on the fucking line like that. is a wedding what you want? you wanna marry me?” chan asked, a mischievous air suddenly surrounding him. your subconscious overrode any sort of common sense and forced you to nod yes like some kind of sick twisted muscle memory.
the next thing you knew he was pulling you back down the aisle toward the small raised platform, the audience whispering behind you. as he approached your groom you held your breath, worried about what he would say.
“seo-jun is it?” he asked and seo-jun nodded. the fear was coming off of him in waves, why your parents paired you with this man you would never understand. you were far too argumentative to be with a weak man. “okay, so seo-jun what's going to happen now is i'm going to marry your fiance okay? get out of my way please, i'll only ask the one time so remember that.” chan said, his voice sickly sweet with a hint of ominous threat. seo-jun just nodded and ran off to cower behind his parents in the first row of seats. chan turned to face the officiant before speaking again. “alright let's start.”
the officiant gulped before he spoke with a shaky voice, “sir i can't marry you two. you don't even have a marriage license with the correct names on it.” this was obviously the incorrect response because chan reached into his coat and pulled out his gun, pressing it to the underside of the officiant's jaw. the rabid look in his eyes was one you were familiar with, he was incredibly worked up now.
“i don't recall asking for your sage advice, did anyone hear me ask for his advice?” he addressed the audience with his question. the crowd murmured a chorus of no’s and chan turned back to the man at gunpoint. “open your stupid fucking book and marry us or i'll blow your fucking brains out, got it? okay, good.” the officiant nodded frantically as chan pulled the gun away, tucking it back into the holster you knew he wore on his side.
you were very much in shock, and oddly enough very much turned on by his public display of aggression. you were finally getting what you always dreamed of with chan but you weren't totally happy. you didn't get to plan the wedding of your dreams with him, and this small event just didnt feel right.
“chris we can't do this. not like this. i want to plan something real, something with you. can we do that? please?” you asked, tugging on his hands.
“oh. of course we can do that sweetheart. but can we do this too? just like a practice? we’re already here and you look so pretty.” he said with his lopsided grin you could never say no to. so you giggled and nodded, and proceeded with the ceremony.
after the exchanging of vows, a cutting look at seo-jun from chan about the wedding band he’d chosen for you, and some muttering from chan about ‘none of this is good enough' the officiant pronounced you man and wife. the crowd reaction was mild as they were all still so confused and terrified, but you didn't care. you were floating. and soon as he heard the words “you may now kiss your bride” chan tugged you to him and planted his lips on yours. he swept his tongue into your mouth and you whined into the kiss. god you'd missed this, no one kissed you like chan did. he broke away for a moment just to stare at you.
“everybody get the fuck out.” every person in the church fled at chan's command, some squealing as they left. the two men he arrived with left as well, closing the doors behind them. you looked around confused, not sure why he would do that as you hadn't gotten your chance to walk down the aisle hand in hand. “channie what are you doing?” you asked.
a wicked smile appeared on his face as he replied “my wife and i need to consummate this marriage, i didn't want them here for that.” heat settled low in your belly at his words and you felt your face flush. surely he couldn't be serious! but evidently he was as he pulled you further across the platform to the altar.
he lifted you and set you down on top of the altar and pushed your legs apart to slot himself in between, yanking your dress up your legs to pool around your hips. chan planted open mouthed kisses across your exposed collarbone, one hand kneading your breast, the other reaching between you to grind against your clit. you threw your head back at the sudden pleasure.
“you let him in here? you let seo-jun touch you like i do?” he grunted against your mouth.
“nuh-uh. told him i wanted to wait. wasn't ready to give myself to another man.” you said, choking down a moan.
“good. he seems nice, i really didn't want to have to kill him.” chan laughed out into your neck. you pawed at his chest in an attempt to open his shirt but the buttons proved to be too difficult for your lust addled brain so you tore it open instead. and what you saw made you stop short.
right over his heart swooped dark black strokes of ink in your handwriting, the tattoo reading “i’ll be a bird in a gilded cage no longer.” it took your breath away and tears welled in your eyes. the weight of everything that had transpired hung heavy in the air between you and chan knew that so instead of speaking right away he leaned in, cupped your face in both hands, and kissed you with the most passion he could. so many words unspoken poured out of your mouths and into that kiss.
“here's what's going to happen now sweetheart. i'm gonna flip you around, bend you over, and fuck you until you see stars okay? it's been too long.” he explained as he maneuvered your body to the position he was describing. his big hand pressed between your shoulder blades and you submitted to him like you always did, leaning forward until your cheek was pressed to the marble of the altar.
the jingling of his belt behind you made you clench around nothing, the ache of being empty taking over. chan bunched your skirt up once again before savagely tearing your panties from your body. two of his big fingers slid through your wetness before sinking into you, punching a moan from your chest.
“gonna make it hurt baby, stretch you out jus’ the way you like okay? daddy’s gonna take such good care of you. always remember i love you okay sweetheart? because im going to fuck you like i really really don't.” he whispered into your ear, planting a kiss on the side of your head. then he was lining up with your entrance and sliding all the way in without stopping.
and he was right, the stretch hurt but really it always did. he was just so big, but you liked the burn. you liked still feeling him the next day. you could feel your eyelids drooping and your body relaxing as he started to move.
“fucking hell sweetheart. a few months away from me and i have to retrain this pussy to take me. so fucking tight.” chan ground out as his powerful hips slammed him in and out of you over and over again. your cunt was drooling all over his cock, almost as much as your mouth was all over the altar.
“still can't believe you ran from me. how about i put a baby in you, then you can't go anywhere. there's not a single place on this earth where i won't fucking find you, you got that?” he spat, lacing his hand into your hair and yanking your head up. all you could get out was a measly “uh-huh” but it seemed to be enough because he growled and started pistoning his thick length into you at a new angle, slamming the head into your g-spot.
chan reached down and wrapped a big hand around the back of your left thigh, lifting your leg and laying it flat on the altar, opening you up more for him. he slid his fingertips down between your legs and rubbed at your clit. if you weren't already sweating and drooling, surely that would have been the thing to do it.
“slutty little pussy missed me huh? she was all lonely and empty without daddy to take care of her. c’mon baby, keep squeezing me, yeah just like that pretty girl. so perfect.” he groaned as he did his best to bruise you from the inside.
at this point you were as boneless as you'd ever been, you truly did miss getting dicked down like this. chan had always been the best fuck of your life and you hadn't realized how much you missed it until now. “please make me cum daddy. need it so bad.” you mumbled incoherently, eyes glazed over.
chan laughed, a bitter sound tumbling from his lips. “those little fingers of yours couldn't even come close to treating you like my dick huh? bet you were riding that dildo i got you, wishing it was me.” he hissed out between his clenched teeth. all you could do was moan and nod because he was right.
“go on then. cum for me pretty baby. do it for me, need to feel it. then i'll fill you up just like you like.” he said, throwing his head back as he thrust into you with the harshest force you'd ever experienced. a few more direct hits to your g-spot and it was over, you were screaming and spasming around him, trapping him inside you for a moment.
“jesus fucking christ- oh god fuck that feels so good. keep squeezing me, yessss just like that baby yeah. fuck you're so beautiful like this. ah- ah- fuck fuck fuck 'm gonna cum. gonna cum in this perfect little cunt baby. FUCK!” chan gasped out, hips stilling as he spilled inside of you, warming you from the inside out. he collapsed over your back and breathed hard against your spine.
after gathering his breath and his thoughts he leaned forward, licking up a rivulet of sweat rolling down the side of your neck before whispering into your ear “cmon mama, lets get you home. i have a lot of apologizing to do.”

Filling the Void Breast Expansion and Butt Expansion via Saline Expander Implants.
But you've seen the image, too late.
Each image from the poster wall is available in full on the extras gallery, some with their own small stories.
Have fun.
----- As I pushed open the door, my eyes widened in horror. Lani lay sprawled across her bed, her body resembling a collection of medicine balls that had been inflated one too many times. Her breasts hung from her chest like overfilled water balloons, threatening to burst at any moment.
The soft light cast by the lamp on her nightstand danced across her skin, highlighting every vein and crease as if trying to accentuate the sheer magnitude of her transformation. The implants themselves seemed to be straining against Lani's skin, like four enormous balloons about to burst at any moment.
Lani's eyes snapped towards mine, wide with surprise and shame. She looked guilty, her face flushed like a person who'd just been caught cheating. Her gaze darted around the room as if searching for a way to make this situation disappear, but the evidence was undeniable. It was like trying to hide a skyscraper behind a curtain – impossible.
I took in the scene: her already-enormous frame now straining against the seams of reality; empty saline solution bottles littering the room like discarded confetti; and Lani's body... altered, distended by the relentless stream of liquid she'd forced into it. The four orbs of saline inside her seemed to be straining against their containment, as if desperate to escape were it not for Lani's stretched skin holding on with all its might.
"It's not that big of a deal," she said, her voice laced with justification. "I'm fine. Just... just this little bit more..."
I took a deep breath before speaking. "Lani, I know we agreed monthly would be the limit," I reminded her gently. "But you know how close you came to... complications. And yet here you are again, doing it without supervision."
Lani looked at me pleadingly, her eyes welling up with tears. "Please," she whispered, the air thickening with shame and desperation.
The shame and desperation, struggled to come to terms with being caught. AGAIN.
On one hand, I was impressed by her willingness to take control of her body and push the boundaries of what society considers "OK".
But I was also worried about how far she was taking things. Like, expanders... that's some next-level stuff.
And not just that - Lani had taken her body modification game to a whole new level by having expanders in her butt as well.
I couldn't help but wonder what kind of discomfort she must be going through with those things implanted in her backside. And yet...part of me couldn't help but admire her spirit.
I get that Lani wanted to change herself, but this was just crazy. "You're not even trying to hide what you're doing," I said, shaking my head in amazement. "You're trying to turn yourself into a human balloon or something!"
But as soon as the words left my mouth, I knew I had spoken too bluntly.
"You're using expanders like they're some kind of...I don't know, saline-filled superpower or something!" I said, trying to lighten my tone.
"I just need this one more time," she said quietly, her voice filled with reverence. "I promise I'll slow down after this. It's not like..."
She trailed off, looking down at the floor as if embarrassed by her own words. But that did not last long.
Lani gazed up at the posters on her wall. Her gaze lingered on the statuesque figures, their bodies seemingly defying gravity itself - their breasts rose up from their chests like mountains, butts jutted out far behind them.
"Look at them," Lani said quietly, her voice filled with awe and longing. "They're doing it... Just look at them - so many people adore them, that one's been on TV!"
As Lani admired these perfect forms of femininity, the competing idea inside of her believed she was still the waifish girl she'd been years ago stewed. Trapped between two conflicting realities unable to be reconciled.
"And honestly, what's another litre of saline when you're already..."
I didn't push her for more. Another unnecessary question. A different tack was in order.
"Lani, baby," I said carefully,
"You've never removed ANY saline before. I'm not even exactly sure if we can. What if this is a one-way process without going back to the doctor..."
Her eyes dropped, and she nodded slowly. "I know, but what's the worst that could happen? You'll still l-" "Ah," I interrupted her, trying to sound more reassuring than concerned. "The weight of... well, let me ask you this: how much saline are we talking about here?"
Lani looked down at her chest, a sheepish expression spreading across her face. "I've got 10 litres in each boob.."
My eyes widened in shock. Ten litres per implant? That was... that was a lot of saline. A lot more than last time.
"And?" I prompted, trying to keep my tone light despite the gravity of the situation.
Lani faltered for a moment before she spoke up again. "And... um... well, I might have also exceeded 10 litres in each butt cheek."
My jaw dropped. She couldn't be serious. Could she?
"Lani," I said softly, trying to keep my tone gentle despite the shock and concern I was feeling. "You're telling me that you've got a total of 40,000cc saline forced in your body?"
Lani nodded sheepishly, her face flushing with embarrassment.
I glanced at Lani's ass and saw the telltale signs of strain: deep creases in her skin, fine lines tracing the contours of each implant, and an eerie sheen that hinted at stretchmarks. Her veins stood out like blue highways, pulsing with effort as they struggled to deliver oxygen to her skin.
"The weight of this much saline is crushing you," I said firmly. "You've already been struggling with everyday tasks for months now. You're going to continue to struggle even more as time goes on. Your body simply can't keep up."
Lani's gaze faltered as she tried to consider the consequences of her actions.
"What does the future hold?" I continued. "Don't even get me started on trying to cook dinner or do laundry. You're being short-sighted! What happens when you can't even get out of bed in the morning?"
The silence between us grew thick with unspoken understanding – a tacit agreement that more caution was needed, but also a recognition that we were both too afraid to seek help.
She nodded slowly, her eyes never leaving mine.
"You're right," she said quietly. "I'll need you".

Rhysand & Cassian & Azriel X OC
Hello, here is the chapter 2 of a fanfiction on the world of Acotar where our three favorite Batboys are the mates of a single woman.
I hope you like it! Don't hesitate to let me know if you prefer the OC to become y/n and/or gender neutral.
Also, I apologize for any mistakes you might find, I'm just a French girl doing her best with Google Translate and her average score of 5 in English classe.
! Don't forget to read the previous chapters ! : Here
Happy reading!

Chapter 2 :
“It's our mate!” screamed Cassian. “Our mate.”
He pointed vigorously back and forth with his finger his brothers in front of him. The traces of his footprints were so numerous that they had completely melted the thick layer of frosted snow that covered the ground of the remote spot where they had escaped from Tamlin before collapsing.
“Our soulmate,” he repeated, as he had been doing for the twenty minutes they'd been there.
Cassian ran his hands through his hair, loosening a little bit more the bun that held half of it together. He was shaking and could barely breathe. He never panicked, never, but now he was panic-stricken. His body was literally vibrating with excitement, joy, anxiety, apprehension and fear. He had no idea how to react. His mate was there, just a few inches away. He never thought he would meet her. The rarity of this event was so high, yet he was certain: she was his soul mate. She was his and his brothers' mate. He didn't even know if it was possible, but he felt it. She belonged to them too. He had so many questions in his head that they drove him crazy, but in a way… it didn't matter, because he just met his mate. And she was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. And he wasn't saying that because she was his mate, no, she was just divinely gorgeous.
Rhysand was kneeling in the snow. Two small spots where the earth could be seen had formed under his lowered face, where the ice had melted from the warm, salty water dripping from his eyes. The big tears that spilled down his cheeks didn't even have time to freeze in the icy winter cold of the forest, as they were quickly replaced by others. He sobbed loudly, unable to stop. She was his soul mate. He'd waited so long for her. For so long he'd even come to believe he'd never meet her. But here she was. She was beautiful. Her voice. Her laugh. The moment he laid eyes on her, he knew he was ready to do anything for her. Anything. He will watch Velaris burn for her if that's what she wanted. He couldn't even begin to realize, to assimilate. After all he'd been through under the mountain, he finally seemed to breathe. He met his mate.
Azriel was frozen. It wasn't the negative temperature of the cold wind around him that was causing his stupor, but the raging chaos exploding in his body. His heart was beating painfully, so hard it felt as if it could dig a hole through his chest. Every of his muscles was on fire, his eyes burned, his head ached and his breath caught in his throat. His eyes were still wide, but he couldn't even see the forest he'd landed in, his mind still focused on the face of this girl. His mate. His mind turned a hundred miles an hour. She was human. She was also the mate of his two brothers. It couldn't be. They had to be careful. It wasn't possible for this human to have three soul mates, and it certainly wasn't possible for anyone to have more than one mate. It wasn't possible that he would agree to share his soul mate. It wasn't possible that he deserved to meet his soul mate. Not after all the terrible things he'd done. Yet when he'd laid his eyes on her, his shadows hid behind his back, and his mind had lit up, impacted by her light. His world had turned colorful. The gray walls had turned white. The gilding on the banister was vivid and the pink of her cheeks was flamboyant. No spell could fool what he felt.
“Maybe it's a trick,” Azriel finally said.
Rhysand looked up tearfully at his spy master.
“What?” asked Cassian, stopping in front of him.
“Think about it, Hybern controls the cauldron, so he may have created a fake link between her and us,” explained Azriel.
“A fake link?” repeated Rhysand in a weak voice. “Does that sound fake to you?”
Azriel had to take a step back with a grimace. No, it didn't look fake to him. It seemed so obvious that he was almost ashamed to say it.
“Why would he do that anyway?” shouted Cassian.
“I don't know, maybe because she's human and fragile or to cause conflict between us or distract us from our goal? I don't know.”
Rhysand jumped to his feet, swearing as he angrily rubbed away his tears. It was a possibility, and if it was a ruse of that damned king, he would slowly rip his skin off. If what he felt for this woman wasn't true, he will never get over it.
“But why her?” asked Cassian.
“I don't know,” Azriel repeated, as lost as his two brothers. “It sounds so insane. How can a human have three soul mates as powerful as us? It just doesn't make sense.”
Cassian's blood ran cold. He had to clench his fists to keep from jumping at his brother and making him take back what he just said. It bothered him more than anything that he was already denigrating a bond as strong as the one he felt so strongly in his gut uniting him to this woman. If he didn't want that bond, all he had to do was leave it to his two brothers and not ruin their moment.
“Exactly!” shouted Cassian. “It makes so little sense that it can't be a trap.”
“And so what?” said Azriel in a false calm voice. “Assuming it's true, we're supposed to let her choose one of us? What about the other two?”
Rhysand couldn't imagine either of his brothers being hurt, but he simply couldn't give up on his soul mate, whom he hadn't even seen for a minute. He was already ready to do anything for her, so he didn't care if he shared her with his brothers if, in the end, he was entitled to her too.
“If she really is the mate of the three of us, she won't be able to choose between us,” Rhysand assured with an empty glance.
Azriel felt as if he were imploding. Even his breathing was shaking, so confused and angry was he. There was no way a man other than him was going to lay his hands on his mate, and that's why it was impossible for this woman to be the mate of the three of them. If that was the case, then this was the Cauldron's most cruel way of punishing him.
“So we're supposed to share the woman we love for the rest of our lives?” spat Azriel, breathing rapidly.
Cassian froze. He never considered such a possibility. They'd shared women in bed with his brothers in the past, but never only one, and it had nothing to do with emotional sharing, especially not one as strong as the one that united soul mates. It wasn't just about body sharing, it was about sharing the love of his life with his brothers. That said, he wanted her. Cassian wanted her no matter what it means to get her, including letting her love her brothers too.
“Yes,” he nodded.
“Yes,” followed Rhysand.
“In any fucking way!” shouted Azriel, burning with jealousy.
He was boiling with rage, all his muscles tensed and his eyebrows so furrowed they were giving him a headache. He wanted to pounce on the other two and rip their hands off. It was simply impossible for him that another man touch or love his mate.
“Look at you,” Cassian said, “you’re already dying of jealousy. It’s impossible to trap you that much and to form such a strong fake bond. Even Hybern with the cauldron on his side doesn’t have that power.”
“Anyway, if it’s real,” Rhysand said, “it’ll hurt her, if she doesn’t have all three of us.”
Azriel stepped back again so as not to hurt his brothers. He ran his hands through his hair, but quickly let them fall back so as not to pull his dark locks out. He knew Rhysand was right, but he simply couldn’t resign himself to it. He knew he should accept it for her sake, but it seemed so crazy. Illyrians were possessive and jealous, if there was one species that didn’t share their women it was them. It was in their genes, and here they were, having the same mate. It was crazy.
But, deep down he knew that it wasn't wrong, that this bond was sincere, because the more he imagined his brothers and him happy alongside their mate, the less it bothered him. Yet, he just wanted her for himself.
A silence took place the time that everyone came to their senses to study the situation more calmly. But, the more time passed, the more it was the face of their soul mate that lingered in their heads. The more time passed, the more it seemed real. The more time passed, the more they wanted her.
“What if she really is our soul mate, Rhys?” Cassian said in a sad voice. “She’s human. She’s weak. Humans can die from a simple scratch or even if they catch a cold. We have targets on our backs all the time, especially you. You are the high lord of the night court, your mate will be hunted and in danger all the time. Our mate will be in danger all the time”.
Rhysand ran his hands over his face as he crouched down, no longer able to stand under the weight of his fear. Azriel groaned at the anguish that gripped his stomach. Cassian convulsed a shiver of panic. They hadn't even spoken to this woman yet, but they were already dying of fear that something would happen to her.
"We'll see, let's let things be, the priority right now is the book," Rhysand said.
He was Cassian and Azriel's lord, he had to keep his calm, he had to keep a cool head and clear ideas. They had to be able to count on Rhysand to calm them down and help them, he had to be impartial, but the only thing he could think about was that today, he just met the woman of his life. That today he finally reached the light.
Cassian nodded, not believing a word of it. The second he had laid eyes on his soulmate, he knew that she would now be the priority of his life. It didn't matter anymore, what happened to him or to the people around him, what mattered was that she was happy. The whole world could burn if that was what she wanted, he would be the one to set it on fire. He was ready to do anything for her. He would protect her, provide for all her needs, and make her happy. "Luxiana" was the only word that Azriel's shadows had been whispering since he had met her and he knew well that he could be fooled but not them. They were unattainable by any spell or curse. He knew well that this mating bond was true, yet he was so jealous that he wanted to consider that it wasn't. Not for him. No. This woman was his. He was sure of it. She was his. She was his mate, but part of him just hoped she wasn't his brothers'. She was already his, and the thought of another man touching his woman made him so angry that he could destroy everything for miles around if he didn't control himself.
"What if she has a boyfriend?" Cassian asked suddenly, his eyes widening, jealousy squeezing his chest.
Azriel let out a guttural growl so loud it made birds fly away from the trees around them.
"I'll tear his muscles out one by one before crushing his bones and feeding them to him, then cutting him into small pieces while avoiding the vital points so that he stays alive throughout the process," he said in a sinister voice, the shadows around him quivering with joy at the images that were emerging in his mind.
Rhysand laughed.
“I’m glad to see that I won’t have to worry about another man approaching our mate.”
A heavy silence fell. They met their soulmate.
“She’s human,” Rhys added. “She won’t feel the same way. We have to make her fall in love with us.”

I have a (The rookie) Tim Bradford x shyreader request please?
Tim and shyreader just recently start dating and one time when Tim, shyreader and his cop friends are at a restaurant “Denny’s” (I always order pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages with Coca Cola) and Tim cop friends are meeting shy!reader.
Tim is surprised when Lucy and shy!reader have secret new best friends handshake and everyone finds it cute while Tim is being sad and surprised puppy asking himself when did this happen. https://youtube.com/shorts/WUON5Q4HDuc?si=4cot1jSQiyi5F-zI
Such a cute request; thank you! 0.7k+ words of fluff (I couldn't figure out how to make it longer without it being super boring. I hope this is okay!)
Secret Relationships, Handshakes, and Pancakes
“It’s been a month,” Tim points out.
“Five weeks and two days,” you correct softly, looking at Tim’s hands rather than his face.
“That’s worse.”
You glance up at him, unsurprised to see that he’s looking directly at you. He hides his smile and lifts his brows.
“Breakfast with a few of my friends can’t be that bad,” he assures. “I don’t even like spending time with them, but I’m still going.”
You push your hand against Tim’s chest before you ask, “Will Lucy be there?”
“Yes,” Tim answers, wondering why you’d ask about her. He’s told you stories about all of them, but this is the big day (Angela’s words) when you finally meet them.
Nodding, you agree to go, then wrap your arms tightly around Tim’s waist. He uses your grip on him to get you out of the door and into his truck. It’s not that you don’t like spending time with Tim or don’t want to meet his friends, but it’s hard being around new people when you’re shy, and you don’t want to make a bad impression and lose Tim forever.
“It’ll be right out,” the waitress says after taking drink orders.
“Thanks,” you whisper to Tim.
“For what?” he replies, lifting his brows innocently like he doesn’t remember ordering for you.
“Tim!” Lucy calls as the door to the restaurant opens behind you.
You smile and turn, then stand and hug Lucy. She pulls back and offers her right hand, which you take in yours. Tim watches as you shake her hand, then flip your fingers to hold her wrist before sliding your palms against one another. Laughing as you hook your fingers with Lucy’s, then snap, you almost forget that other people are around.
“Um, excuse me?” Angela interjects as she stops beside you. “I want a handshake.”
“It’s reserved for best friends,” Lucy argues. She winks at you as she sits beside you.
Angela groans, then smiles and introduces herself and Wesley Evers. You shake their hands before you lower to your seat. Tim’s eyes are on you, but your neck is already warming, so you keep your gaze forward.
“I was under the impression we were all meeting you for the first time today,” Angela tells you, looking pointedly at Lucy.
“We met at the station,” Lucy explains. “I recognized her from one of Tim’s pictures.”
“When did you see my pictures?” Tim interrupts, momentarily distracted from his internal wondering of how you and Lucy hit it off so quickly.
“Anyway,” Lucy deflects, “Nolan is running a few minutes late, but he’ll be here soon.”
“Did you come up with the handshake yourself?” Wesley asks you.
“I did,” you answer softly. “But it was Lucy’s idea.”
“Were you on the clock?” Tim inquires over your head.
“No,” you and Lucy answer together.
Tim pinches the bridge of his nose and looks down to ask, “How long have you been friends?”
“About a month,” Lucy answers.
Their conversation is interrupted by the waitress returning with drinks for the table. After Angela thanks Tim for remembering her favorite, Tim gently taps his elbow against your arm. You turn toward him and interlace your fingers beneath the table.
“So, while I was fighting to get you to talk to me, hold eye contact… you were hanging out with Lucy and making secret handshakes?” he accuses.
“Bet you’re wishing you’d picked up Nolan,” Wesley tells Lucy.
“Wasn’t the goal of breakfast to let us bond?” Lucy defends for you. “We just bonded early.”
“He’s mad that you stole his girlfriend’s limited attention,” Angela explains. She meets your eyes and smiles. “No offense.”
“None taken,” you promise. “Sorry I didn’t tell you, Tim.”
Tim sighs and murmurs, “I suppose there will be even more handshakes now.” As Angela cheers, he reaches across the table for a straw and uses his arm as cover to whisper, “I’m the only one who gets secret kisses, though.”
You nod, fighting the shy smile growing at his words.
“Hey, Nolan,” Wesley calls. “Lucky for you, no one else has to talk once John gets here.”
Tim takes your hand under the table, and as his thumb brushes over your knuckles, you know your relationship is better than all the secret handshakes in the world. But then he orders for you, and the women at the table act like it’s the sweetest thing anyone has done since Fitzwilliam Darcy walked to propose to Elizabeth Bennet. You turn to hide your face against his arm.
“Wait, handshakes?” Nolan exclaims a moment later. “I love handshakes!”
“No you don’t,” Tim warns, his hand warm against your back.

a perfect world ~ jack chambers;don't worry darling
word count: 2122
request?: no
description: in which she finds out that their picture perfect world is not as perfect as it seems
pairing: jack chambers x female!reader
warnings: swearing, use of y/n, kind of an au where jack isn't an incel but he still does the bad thing of taking the reader into the simulation, jack tries to gaslight the reader, kind of a dark fic if you think about it but not super dark
masterlist (one, two, three)
Jack knew something was wrong the moment he walked into the house. It was the quiet that tipped him off. It was never quiet. Usually the place was filled with music. Either the soft lull of the radio, or his wife's humming, or both.
This time, though, the house was eerily quiet.
Jack came around the corner to find his wife stood at the kitchen counter. She had a glass of wine in her hand, with the bottle next to her on the counter. She was staring off into space as she took a sip of her wine, her movements almost robotic.
"(Y/N)?" Jack said, cautiously. "Love, are you alright?"
(Y/N) didn't respond at first. She took a long sip before slowly placing the glass down. Jack's worry was growing further. Not only worry for his wife, but worry for himself. If something was seriously wrong with her, then it would result in demotion, or worse, from Frank.
Finally, (Y/N) turned to face him. Her face was so calm that it scared Jack. When she spoke, her voice was also eerily calm.
"I know about Victory."
Jack tried to laugh off the comment. "My job? Of course you know about it, love."
"No," (Y/N) said, shaking her head. "I know what Victory is. I know why we're here, Jack. And what you did to me."
Jack's blood ran cold.
In his fear and anxiety, Jack started laughing again. (Y/N)'s face was still blank as she looked at him.
"I don't know what you're on about," Jack said. "I didn't do anything to you, besides put a ring on your finger."
(Y/N) chuckled, but there was no true humor behind it. "Well, yes, you did actually do that. But you didn't do it the way we've been telling the story, did you?"
Jack started to walk away. He was trying to seem nonchalant, but the panic was starting to overwhelm him. He didn't want (Y/N) to see his panic, otherwise he wouldn't be able to convince her that she was wrong.
He stopped when (Y/N) called after him, "How long do you intend to keep me in this simulation?"
Jack spun around before he could stop himself. "You are crazy! Do you hear yourself? You're talking crazy!"
Emotion was finally showing on (Y/N)'s face. It quickly went from shock to anger. "You're going to call me crazy? When you're the one who has me hooked up to a machine and making me play happy little housewife?!"
"You don't know what you're talking about!"
Jack couldn't help but quickly look around in panic. There was no way Frank was listening in on their private conversations, right? This wouldn't get back to him, would it? He needed to stop (Y/N) before things got too loud or somehow their neighbors noticed the arguing.
He tried a more calm approach, saying, "Love, I don't know where you got this idea. We are not in a simulation, you are not hooked up to machines. I'm sorry I called you crazy, but you have to understand that is how everyone will react when they hear you saying this."
(Y/N) pulled away as Jack tried to reach for her. "I got this idea when I went to the Victory headquarters."
Jack backed away from her. No, she couldn't have been to the Headquarters. None of the wives even knew where the Headquarters was, and they wouldn't be able to even go out that far.
Except for Margaret, but Ted wore he had her under control.
They locked eyes, silently daring the other to make a move. Jack had lost any sense of confidence he had mustered seconds ago. He felt like everything was about to slip from his fingers. Everything he worked so hard to build for him and (Y/N), all gone in the seconds it took for her to utter that sentence. Meanwhile, (Y/N) had gone back to looking emotionless. She didn't even realize how much she was about to lose.
When Jack didn't break the silence, (Y/N) took it as her opportunity to explain, "I was on the trolley and it broke down. The driver told me it would take some time for it to be fixed, so I offered to just walk back to town. But, oddly, the driver started trying to convince me not to get off. He was very adamant about staying on the trolley. I was a little put off by how insistent he was on it, but I thought he was just worried for my safety."
Jack felt himself unconsciously clenching his fists. The damn trolley driver. Couldn't he have been a little more subtle?
"I did stay on for a while," she continued. "But it was just the two of us, and I knew I'd get home quicker if I just walked. So I did. When the driver wasn't paying much attention, I got off and started walking. But we were in the desert, and none of us wives have ever been out that far, so I was a bit lost. I found his building I've never seen or heard of before. I knew I shouldn't go to it, but...my curiosity got the better of me."
Jack felt as though he was going to start crying. Even though he already knew the answer, he asked, "What did you see?"
"Nothing," (Y/N) responded. "Not at first. Not until I touched the building. Then I saw the truth. All of it."
Jack winced.
That's it. There's no denying her when she saw the building.
The truth was that (Y/N) was right: she was hooked up to a machine that was putting her in a simulated perfect 50s town.
In the real world, Jack and (Y/N) were really married. They fell in love young and married right after they graduated university. Everything was great, until Jack lost his job. His company was on a fast downwards spiral that resulted in a number of employees getting terminated, and Jack was one of the unfortunate ones. (Y/N) was still trying to get a job within her field of study, so she was working a minimum wage retail job. While Jack was unemployed, (Y/N) had to carry the financial burdens, and that made Jack feel awful and useless.
Then he discovered Frank and Victory.
Frank promised a perfect world and a perfect life. All Jack needed to do was work for eight hours a day, as well as all the other men within their town, for Frank; for Victory. It was a small price to pay for him and (Y/N) to live their dream life.
And now all of that work was ruined. Frank would take care of (Y/N) for finding out, whatever that meant, and Jack would be exiled from Victory.
He had to sit down.
He lowered himself into a chair at their dining table. (Y/N) was still watching him. He wished she would just do whatever she planned to do; scream, break things, go right to Frank and tell him she knew about everything. Whatever the plan, he just wanted her to get it over with. The unknown silence was killing him.
"Why?" she finally asked. "Why did you do this?"
"For us," Jack said. "So we could live a better life."
"What was wrong with our life before?"
Jack scoffed. "Seriously? (Y/N), we were struggling. I was unemployed, you were working a shitty job. You were pulling all the financial weight, and I hate that all of that was on your shoulders."
"So instead of talking to me about your feelings, you hooked me up to a machine and put me into a simulation without my consent?"
Jack hung his head. There was no way to paint that part in a good light. He hadn't brought up Victory because he was afraid (Y/N) would reject the idea, and he couldn't take their real life for much longer.
"I just wanted to take care of you," Jack said, his voice small. "You were doing it for so long, and you never complained even though I know it was tough. I didn't want you to do it anymore, and Frank offered the perfect life for us."
He heard (Y/N)'s heels clicking against the tiled kitchen floor as she approached the table. He couldn't look up at her as she leaned on the table, basically towering over him.
"What happens if Frank finds out that I know?" she asked.
Jack shook his head. "I don't completely know. He just says he takes care of it."
"Did he take care of Margaret?"
He didn't ask her how she knew that Margaret had known the truth as well. It was probably pretty obvious now that she knew. Instead, he just nodded. "And he told Ted that if he didn't get Margaret under control, then he'd be fired from Victory."
"So, if Frank finds out, this is all over for both of us?"
He nodded again. He had a feeling he knew where she was going with this. She'd go tell Frank that she knew the truth about Victory, even though it would be a risk for her to do so. But the risk would be worth it if it meant Jack was fired from Victory, sent back to the reality that he was trying to desperately to save them from. Once they were back in their own reality, (Y/N) would no doubt divorce him as well. He'd deserve it, of course.
"Then I'll just have to get really good at keeping a secret."
Jack's head shot up quickly to look at (Y/N). There was a hint of a smile tugging at the corner of her lips, and there was something in her eyes as she looked at Jack.
"What do you mean?" he asked, dumbly.
"I mean, what you did was very fucked up. Like, extremely fucked up. Next time you're making big decisions like, I don't know, putting us in a fucking simulation, maybe talk to me about it first. But, with that being said...I'd be lying if I said I preferred our real life over this one."
Jack was stunned. This was not what he was expecting at all.
(Y/N) gestured for Jack to push his chair back. When given enough room, she sat herself on his lap and put her arms around his neck.
"We can't stay here forever," she told him. "We have real bodies that need to be taken care of, and families and people that will worry if we just disappear. But, it's hard to give up on this life. It's so...perfect."
"So what are you saying?" Jack asked.
"I'm saying we put a cap on how long we stay here. Give it...I don't know, another year. We let ourselves be happy, be worry free. Then, however we have to, we get out of here and we get to working on making our reality just as perfect as the simulation is."
"You'll have to go back to work."
She nodded. "I know. But I'm not opposed to working. I did get a whole degree so I could work my dream job, after all."
Jack put his arms around her. He wanted to pull her in close and not ever let her go, but he couldn't just yet. "Why?"
She furrowed her brows. "Why what?"
"Why aren't you more mad? Why aren't you going to tell Frank so that I get in trouble? Why do you want to stay here...stay with me?"
(Y/N) gave him a look like she thought he was being incredibly stupid before cupping his cheeks. "Because I love you, you idiot. And, like I said, the way you went about doing this was very stupid and wrong, but I know you did it because you love me, too. As long as you can agree with my deal, I don't see any reason to be mad and want to leave you."
Jack finally allowed himself to kiss her. It caught her off guard, which made her giggle against his lips. Every memory he had with her, both in the real world and in their simulation, came rushing back to him.
"I agree," he said. "I'll do whatever you want, I promise."
"Right now, I think I want to make love to my husband in our super cool retro bedroom," she told him. "Just to make sure I don't forget how to do that when we get back to the real world."
Jack smiled at her. "Oh, don't worry love. I won't let you forget."

ok, first of, congratulations on so many followers!! your works are truly amazing and well written!! secondly, what about “we’re really going to fuck here? what if someone sees us?” with switch!leopold? maybe fucking him on the balcony or smth like that
warnings: NSFW, MINORS DNI, exhibitionism, riding, calling leo a good boy once
600 follower drabble masterlist!
a/n: More Leo love!! I miss writing for this man I really need to get more fics out for him. Also I changed the line slightly because I don't think our boy would say fuck just yet.
You loved nothing more than watching the stars from your balcony. It was peaceful, a way to relax after facing the wolves in your job. Just you and a cup of tea and recently Leopold. You had a nice warm couch on your balcony.
It could really only fit you and him and even then you had to cuddle up. Not that you minded of course. Big fluffy blankets too. Leopold loved watching the stars too. It was his time alone with you where you can destress and just enjoy each others company.
It reminded him of his childhood. When he was a child and couldn't sleep he would stare out the window and count the stars. Eventually it would lull him to sleep. Now he can't see them very well anymore but he still loves them.
Tonight though felt different. You had a date with Leopold and while you were already dating the tension was undeniable. His feather light touches, your low cut dress, shared whispers. You were both a little on edge going into your night time routine. Your hands mindlessly found their way under his shirt as you looked out at the city. You could feel his heartbeat quicken under your touch. The stars were the last thing on his mind as certain thoughts popped into his head. Thoughts that made his head dizzy.
Slowly the two of you forgot about the stars and focused on each other. You were on his lap kissing passionately. His hands were roaming your body and yours were tugging at his hair.
"My love, we should move." He can feel himself getting hard and the need to be inside you was growing. To his shock you shake your head.
"No." Your hands leave his hair and snake down to his pants.
His eyes widen as you unbutton his pants and pull them down to his knees. The fluffy blankets hid enough but if anyone were to see you there would be no mistaking what you were doing.
You pull his cock out of his underwear and stroke him firmly. He tilts his head back as his cock grows hard in your hands. You were growing needier by the second. He's just so pretty, so hot. You need him inside of you and you have all night.
“We’re really going to...here? what if someone sees us?” Leopold says with a blush. A slight whimper leaving his lips as you sink yourself onto him. Your panties are pushed to the side, too desperate to take them off.
"Let them watch." You purr as you start to bounce on his lap.
His hands are gripping your hips tightly. Keeping you steady as you fuck yourself harder. You bury your face into his neck. Holding onto him for dear life as he stretches you so sweetly. For such a shy man he's got a big cock. Leopold is holding you tightly. Protecting any intimate part of you from possible watchful eyes. He can't deny that the very idea of someone watching your sinful display makes his cock twitch. His face grows warm at the possibility of someone seeing just how well the two of you fit together. How easily you fall apart.
"Such a good boy Leo." You groan quietly into his ear as you start to pick up the pace.
You're slamming your hips down onto him, going as deep as you can. Your nails digging into his shoulders as your resolve starts to break. Leopold purrs at the praise. He loves being your good boy and part of that is bringing you over the edge.
"I got you my love. I got you." He wraps his arms around you, pressing a kiss to your temple as he starts to take control.
Thrusts his hips up at a slow but devastating pace. He grunts in your ear with every move, ramming his cock into you. Fuck it feels so good. You whine as you clench hard around him, pleasure rushing over you as you start to melt into his arms. Leopold muffles his moans by pressing his face into your neck. His thrusts becoming sloppy as he chases his release.
"Leo...need you please." Your pretty fucked out voice sends him over the edge.
His eyes rolling to the back of his head as he comes inside of you. His face contorts in pleasure as he stills his hips and keeps you locked down.
A cool breeze blows by and you both sigh at the feeling. Your bodies are hot and sweaty and there's a sense of excitement for what you had just done. Never in a million years would Leo have imagined doing something as daring as this yet he craves more. Clearly you enjoyed the idea of being caught and so did he.
"You are amazing." He says in awe as you slip off his lap.
He pulls your panties back to their normal place, blushing slightly at the sight of his cum dripping out of you. You find it cute. Still so shy despite being balls deep just a moment ago.
"Shall we move inside my love?" There's a desperation to his plea, his eyes shining with desire. You start to unbutton his shirt, revealing his perfect chest to you.
"How about we move this to the bedroom, we have some pretty big windows in there." You whisper, nipping at his ear. You wrap the blanket around yourself and get up, winking as you disappear into the window.
It doesn't take long for Leopold to follow, mind already buzzing with ideas.

ngl hdg kinda amazes me in its ability to cater to my kinks pretty much perfectly while simultaneously triggering several of the worst parts of my trauma.
like how is it that it hits on everything i like on the surface, provides semi-decent worldbuilding to back it all up and enable the creation of stories, and even has consistent backstory and stuff, and yet the entire damn thing instills this looming sense of dread and fear that i can't shake enough to properly enjoy it...
below the break im gonna talk in like. moderate detail. about the parts that scare me. so uh yeah be aware that it'll get heavy that's just how it is.
ok, so the worst thing for me. wellness checks. the idea is cute and kinda hot on the surface. "make sure you're okay and if you're not you're getting domesticated" (which is supposed to be like. a happy thing. "now you get to just chill and be happy and get taken care of forever and in return you give me only your submission"). yeah, fuck it, im into that. hell that's not even an uncommon trope in the realm of cnc/mc writing.
except whenever i read an hdg wellness check story (in the sense of those long-ish tumblr posts that people write—i haven't even really considered reading the longer form content on ao3) there's something viscerally... off... about the tone. it stops feeling like kink and starts feeling like a nightmare when things happen to line up just so, and then it clicks, and reminds me that i knew people, real people, who had "wellness checks" happen in real life, except that instead of it being a kink thing that made them happy and was genuinely for their wellbeing, it was that their parents had hired people to kidnap them and drag them to a psych ward when they just needed a therapist. not all of those people that i knew have come home, as far as im aware. some have been gone for years.
and what about the whole idea of the non-consensual part being okay because "it's for your own good". in hdg-land it is. it's genuinely good for you and everyone seems to be happy with it, other than the occasional "bad guy who hates good things" trope (feralists, in hdg, afaik). but that's exactly what they told me when they cut contact between my boyfriend and i while he was in the hospital. "it's for your own good." guess what, it wasn't. his parents didn't like our relationship. they wanted me to forget him. they either didn't understand or didn't care that i couldn't. it was a year and a half before he came home and i had forgotten nothing.
our loss of communication was the tipping point in a series of events that, had i made one decision differently in the end, would have killed me. thankfully i fucked it up and am here today, no longer in that bad of a place may i add. im choosing not to share any of what happened to me directly right now because i don't want to turn this into a full on trauma dump, but suffice it to say there are recurring themes.
it's so interesting to me because in a lot of ways i have found comfort from those experiences in kink and writing. take flames of averon: mech pilots are neurochemically bonded to their handlers. how different is this from what the affini do to their florets? well, you have to sign up to be a pilot, and there's no authority in the world threatening you if you choose not to. even the coalition military wouldn't dare force you to become a pilot against your will, though they might never stop sending you promotional flyers if they find out you're able to tolerate the cyberware /lh
hell, im into cnc. im really into it. i chose to leave it as an opening between pilots and handlers in foa. the implication exists that if a handler tells their pilot to do something the poor thing will have a hell of a time saying no. that's intentional. it's hot to me, on either end. but the safety comes from other things.
yes, your handler has a lot of influence over you at a level that's hard to imagine, but you chose them and they chose you (most of the time), or at the very least neither of you had any complaints to raise with your supervisor when the paperwork came in for syncing your link chips (holly and astrid from seat of consciousness).
yes it's true, you can't be reassigned now that you're bonded, but that doesn't mean you have zero recourse if your handler is treating you badly. if you need to, you can always file paperwork with your commanding officer to request that something be done.
plus, handlers go through a lot of training, which includes screening to filter out people who would actually harm their pilots. yeah, some handlers are a little sadistic, but when it comes down to it they are on your side. if that wasn't the case they would never have passed pre-basic.
put another way, as a pilot in flames of averon, the closest thing ive ever written to a floret, there are a multitude of points at which you could have said no and didn't, and although that's obviously still noncon in the grand scheme of things, it's "signing away your freedom" cnc compared to the hdg flavor of "you 'consented' via it being the best thing for you whether you like it or not."
even if your handler just told you to "stay" for the first time and you're currently panicking and trying to figure out why your legs won't move, you still have some tiny amount of agency—an escape hatch, so to speak—and you'll just never end up having to use it.
and to me, the loss of that minute level of agency which will never be invoked is the difference between "this is hot as hell and feels perfectly safe" and "this is the abuse that was once leveraged against those i cared about, and to some degree myself, and it's simply been repackaged with a kink sticker slapped on."
none of this is to say i hate hdg, it's fans, those who write about it, or even the parts of it which scare me. i do think the idea is hot. hdg is pretty cool. hell, it was one of my inspirations in writing a lot of the pilot/handler dynamics in flames of averon. but it does scare me. and no matter what i tell myself i can't shake that fear.
it's frustrating, because oftentimes fear can be part of what makes something hot, but the particular flavor of fear which hdg instills in me is one which makes bitter all that it reaches. maybe someday i'll grow out of it. the traumatic memories from which that fear stems were only created in the past couple of years, to be fair. but something tells me a piece of that fear will never be fully dislodged from my mind.
so, all this to say, while i am into hdg, it's a complicated relationship.
(and on a sillier in character note to lighten the mood—please feel free to respond to this with roleplay or whatever you like!)
to any Affini out there who might be reading this, know that im not scared of you. im not scared of what you represent. im only scared by the fact that you mimic that which has left the scars you see on my soul today. im not against being taken in as a floret, and none of this is to say that i hold any level of disdain for you.
i only ask that you be gentle with me. what has been broken once can be broken again. please, do not let it come to that.

Hi! I saw your requests were open and I wanted to see if you could write something fluffy with Levi and a reader that’s shorter than him 🥺
Maybe something where he’s doting on them? I adore the idea of a cold Levi who’s soft for his partner and I’m part of the minority of people who is actually shorter than him lol. I see a lot of fics describing the reader as taller but not enough for the other shorties out here 🙂↕️
Finally. The end of the day.
Levi lets out a loud sigh as the door of his bedroom closes behind him. His head leans against it and his eyes close. After hours of training, meetings, monitoring, and doing a shit ton of paperwork, he's finally back to the comfort of his bedroom at exactly midnight.
He lifts his head back up and looks around the small space, an unfamiliar (to others at least) smile spreads on his face when his eyes land on the sleepy yet smiling person sitting on his bed.
“Welcome back home, Levi.”
God, their sweet voice makes him melt into a puddle every time. He can't believe he gets to call such a precious person his partner, he considers himself a very lucky man.
“I'm sorry I woke you up, my love.” he says gently as he takes off his jacket. They shake their head and watch him as he tries his best to take off the belts wrapped around his body as fast as possible, “it's okay, darling. I wasn't sleeping, you know I can't without you.”
Levi cups their face after he is done and leans down to press a soft kiss to their forehead. People would lose their mind if they saw the way he acts and talks to them, in fact, only the people he's closest to in the survey corps (which is very few) know about their relationship, it wouldn't even cross people's minds that the strong and stoic captain who doesn't care if he hurts anyone's feelings is dating the sweet and gentle nurse who once cried with a soldier while trying to stitch him up.
“Did you have a good day today? Any of those brats bothered you?” he caresses their soft cheeks with the pad of his thumbs, mesmerized by the way the light casts a warm glow on their face. They lean into his touch, their eyes closing in relaxation. “everything was okay. Jean and Eren even teamed up to help me carry the new supplies stock and put them on the high shelves for me.”
He chuckles softly and pulls away from them so he can quickly change into more comfortable clothes. He used to sleep in his uniform, belts and all, just in case something happens and he couldn't waste his time putting everything back on, most of the nights he didn't sleep to begin with, but ever since they started sharing the same bed, not only did he find himself falling asleep but he also invested in some soft night clothes so he can cuddle with them without any restrictions.
“Still refusing to use the stool I got you?” he smirks as he starts changing his clothes. They've been dating long enough for them to not care about being naked in front of the other.
“I don't need it! The boxes were just heavy!”
“Hmm, sure you don't,” he teases as he gets under the blanket on his side of the bed (which is obviously the one on the near the bedroom door) and pats his lap with two hands. They huff, followed by a small, almost inaudible "I'm not that short", yet they don't hesitate to straddle his thighs and nuzzle their face in his warm chest. He wraps his arms around their body and presses a kiss on top of their head.
“if you weren't so short you wouldn't be able to fit in my arms all snuggly,” he looks down at their face and smiles at the adorable sight of their cheek pressed firmly on his chest, probably so they're able to hear his heart beat, they told him before that it's their favourite sound, “look at you, you could fit in my pocket, I could take you everywhere with me.”
They look up at him with the sweetest look on their face, their pretty eyes soft and affectionate. He wishes he could freeze this moment and stay like this forever, no titans, no fighting, no heartbreak, just him relaxing with his beloved in his arms.
“Can I stay in your heart instead? I think I'll like it there more.”
Levi lets out a shaky sigh. He's not one to get emotional, he can't even remember the last time he cried because it's been so long, but at that moment he feels a tug at his heart strings and a lump form in his throat. He never thought he'd ever have someone who loves him unconditionally, who would stay up till the late hours waiting for him because they want him to be the last thing they see before they close their eyes, whose presence felt the closest to what he heard others describe as home, who looked past the walls he has up and saw someone worth all their patience.
“You know I can't have you stay anywhere else. I love you more than I've ever loved anything in my life.”
“More than tea?” they teasingly raise an eyebrow making him chuckle.
"Yes, my love. More than tea," he replies, gently brushing a strand of hair away from their eyes.
“More than cleaning?”
"now I don't know about that...”
“hey!”
Levi laughs loudly, a deep and hearty sound he never imagined would come from him before he met them. Their melodic giggles join his, filling the air with a positive energy he only experiences around them. At that moment, he feels his heart fill with a great amount of happiness, a feeling he always thought he didn't need, but now can never live without, and it makes him realise that he is now complete.
In the past, he thought that when he'd feel complete he would let go of everything, even life itself. But now, the thought of being separated from the love of his life terrifies him, and for the first time, he wants nothing more than to continue living and breathing, even if it means fighting those ugly monsters every single day.
Is life easy right now? No, Eren Jeager is still a big pain in his ass, and the whole situation with the titans keeps getting worse and worse, but now he gets to come home to moments like these, and they simply make everything better.
I lost the plot and didn't make this very focused on short!reader but it's there nonetheless! I love soft Levi who's a totally different person around his love 💕

study distractions
word count: 3.2k
warnings: none
You need to study for a test. Sunoo knows the perfect way to support you with it - and maybe distract you a bit in-between.
~~~
“Hey.” You didn't notice how Sunoo entered the room, only aware of his presence when you felt his arms wrap around your shoulders and heard his voice. “How are you?”
You let your head fall back onto his shoulder, your eyes searching for his. “Exhausted.”
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, pressing a quick peck against your cheek. “You should take a break.”
“I will once I’m done with this.” You couldn't suppress a yawn, causing a quiet chuckle from Sunoo. “How was your day?”
“I missed you. But it was good, I think I did really well at practice today.”
“I’m glad. I’m sure you did amazing.” Another yawn, another chuckle from Sunoo.
“Okay. I love you but you need a break - and I am hungry. What do you say about a nice lunch?”
You sighed. “I’d love to but I should really continue this assignment…”
“Hmm, okay.” Sunoos hands wandered to your back, softly massaging your shoulder blades as he pressed another kiss onto the top of your head. “Another idea: you continue writing this while I cook us lunch. And when I’m done you'll take a break and we'll eat together.”
You closed your eyes, taking in the feeling of your body slowly loosening up again, the tension that had built up since the morning slowly disappearing. “That sounds perfect actually. I should be done soon with this chapter anyways.”
“Do you want to continue writing in the kitchen? Maybe a change of scenery can help too - if it doesn't distract you too much.”
“You mean if you won't distract me too much,” you chuckled. “But I’ll take my chances.”
Sunoo smiled and nodded, and before you could get up by yourself he had already swept you off your feet. “Grab your laptop please.”
You couldn't hold back your laughter, clutching onto the laptop with one hand while you held onto Sunoo with the other, trying not to fall. “You're insane.”
“Insanely in love with you, yes. Let me sit you down right here.” He carefully put you down at the table, unable to resist another kiss against your lips before he grinned and walked off towards your fridge. “Do you have any wishes?”
You were just about to shake your head when you stopped yourself. “Another kiss maybe?”
“Oh?” Sunoo smirked as he walked towards you again. “I thought I shouldn't distract you?”
“I think I can handle two more seconds.” As soon as he was close enough you put your hands on his cheeks, slowly pulling his face towards you until your lips could reach his. The kiss might have lasted a bit longer than 2 seconds - but neither you nor Sunoo were complaining.
“So no wishes for lunch then?” He grinned against your lips as you shook your head.
“Surprise me please.”
One last kiss before he went back to the fridge and started getting ingredients out - not that you watched him. Of course you were focused on your assignment, busy with typing smart words about smart topics… not at all were you watching your boyfriend chopping ingredients, the muscles on his back working underneath his shirt while he was softly humming…
“I can feel you stare at me, y/n.” He turned around, a bright smile on his face. “What about your assignment?”
“I’m focused,” you mumbled. Someone should applaud you for the force you had to use to pry your eyes from Sunoos figure back to your laptop, trying to get back into the topic. Sunoo went back to the ingredients, already humming again, but this time you managed to let the sounds move to the background. Smiling to yourself you started typing again, and somehow it really seemed to go better now.
~~~
“That smells really good.” You spoke up after a while, your eyes finally looking up from the screen. “What are you making?”
“Your favorite,” Sunoo answered, his focus shifting towards you. “Obviously.”
“You're so in love with me.” You playfully rolled your eyes, not expecting for Sunoo to push out a laugh as he suddenly jumped towards you, gripping your chin so you were forced to look at him.
“Yes I am.” His eyes wandered towards your lips, and only a second later you felt his lips on yours, your eyes fluttering shut. “But you love me too.”
You just nodded as your lips moved against each other, none of you planning to let go. “I love you.”
“I love you most, sprout,” he whispered. “Don't forget that.”
Your hand wandered to his back, pulling him closer so you could deepen the kiss, while his hand wandered towards your hair. You didn't have to speak up or reassure him, your kisses doing the job all too well. You could have gone on forever, if it weren't for the pot on the stove that suddenly hissed, causing you to almost jump apart.
“I should probably go back to the food…” Sunoo mumbled, his face a deep red. “And you should focus on your assignment.”
“Right.” Your fingers moved around your lips, feeling where Sunoo was just seconds ago. “Right - I’m almost done with the chapter anyway.”
“Good.” He quickly turned around to go back to cooking, while you tried to shift your focus back on your assignment. Thankfully you were actually almost done, only a few sentences left. You and Sunoo managed to finish your work at the same time, the plate full of delicious food being placed in front of you right when you closed your laptop.
“Perfect timing,” he smiled. “I hope you'll enjoy.”
“It's made by you, of course I will.”
His face lit up as he watched you eat, your eyes closing in bliss. “It's so good, Sun.”
“I’m so glad.” Only then he started eating too - a little habit he had developed when you moved in together. “Ah - I did a good job.”
“Yes you did.”
It didn't need words to notice how proud Sunoo was of himself, and he had every right to be. The food was incredible, the flavors melting together and its warmth filling you up with a cozy feeling. This was just what you needed, a well deserved break from the computer screen and the glass of water that had filled your morning so far.
“Thank you, Sun.” You grabbed his hand once you had finished your food, pressing a small kiss against his knuckles. “This was really good.”
You could see him blush again, his eyes focused on you.
“I’m glad you loved it.” He cleared his throat before he spoke up again. “Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?”
“My assignments…”
He chuckled. “Right. So what about this: you use the energy right now to continue writing. And once you feel yourself getting tired we can go on a walk or take a little nap. And tonight I’ll order us dinner and we’ll sit down on the couch and watch a movie.”
You just stared at him for one, two seconds, mouth open in awe. “You're perfect.”
“You are. But I will take that as a yes then.”
You nodded. “Of course it's a yes.”
“Can I keep you company?”
You laughed. “If you promise not to be too distracting?”
“I promise!” Sunoo jumped up again to grab your plates. “I’ll do the dishes and you can get started. Do you want to sit on the couch? It might be more comfortable.”
“Sunoooo,” you whined. “You need to be less perfect - how am I supposed to focus on my assignment now.”
“You can do it, I believe in you.” He grinned. “Fighting!”
You couldn't hide the laugh again as you made your way towards the couch, the laptop on your lap waiting for you to start writing. Just as you started Sunoo appeared with a book in his hands and lied down next to you, his head leaning against your thigh. You began absentmindedly running your fingers through his hair while your head was trying to come up with the right things to write. The room was silent apart from the occasional typing and Sunoos content hums as your fingers found their way back into his hair again. You could see his eyes closing over and over again, fatigue of all his training taking over as his head lolled to the side. It was an adorable sight, his soft breaths moving the pages of his book before you placed it on the little side table. You kept massaging his head, managing to write a total of 4 pages before you also began to feel tired, continuously losing your train of thought as your eyes threatened to close too. With a small sigh you put your laptop down, nudging Sunoos shoulder until he stirred awake.
“Sorry,” you whispered. “I just thought the bed might be more comfortable - I’ll take a little nap too.”
He yawned, nodding with tired eyes. “Sounds good.”
You walked behind him as he almost stumbled towards the bed, falling right onto it. With a quiet giggle you lied down next to him, pushing some loose strands of hair behind his ear. “I love you.”
“I love you too, sprout,” he mumbled, words already slurred again. “Come here please.”
You shuffled closer, arms wrapping around him as you buried your face into his neck. “Hi.”
“Hey.” Now it was Sunoos turn to run his fingers through your hair, massaging your head. “Should we set an alarm?”
“That's probably a good idea.” You sighed as you had to turn around, setting a quick alarm before you moved right back into your previous position. “All done.”
“I am proud of you, you know,” Sunoo suddenly whispered. “You did so well today.”
“I’m proud of you. Training must have been so exhausting but you still cooked and took care of me.”
“It's nothing.” You could feel his lips against your hair. “I love you, I’d do anything for you.”
You understood why Sunoo fell asleep so quickly earlier - the continuous movement of his fingers in your hair and his soft whispers were very effectively lulling you to sleep. You noticed that he was talking to you, but your brain was too tired to decipher them and it didn't take long until everything turned black and you welcomed sleep.
~~~
“Sprout?” You barely registered the words that woke you up. “Hey, we need to get up.”
With a groan you squeezed your eyes together, burying your face deeper into Sunoos neck.
“I don't want to get up either,” you heard him whisper. “But we can't just nap all day.”
“Why not,” you mumbled. “I think it sounds like a perfect plan.”
“Because you have assignments to do, Sprout.” Sunoo pressed a small kiss against the top of your head. “And I will be here to support you.”
“Napping all day sounds so much better though…”
You could hear him chuckle. “I can imagine, but those assignments won't write themselves.”
You sighed. “5 more minutes?”
“Okay.” Sunoo pulled you closer as he kissed you again. “But only so you can get more awake, so open your eyes please.”
When you followed his words you were met with a wide smile on your boyfriends face. “Hi.”
“Hey - I still don't like this,” you pouted.
“Sorry y/n. But you know I only want the best for you.”
“I know. I just wish I didn't have to do all this work.”
Sunoo was briefly watching you before you felt his lips on yours, a surprising softness behind it. He placed his hand onto your cheek, his thumb drawing small circles onto it while your lips moved against each other. You were tempted to close your eyes again when Sunoo ended the kiss, leaning his forehead against yours instead.
“I get that but I know you will do great. You can do anything if you put your mind to it, y/n. You will also do amazing with this and once you're done we can do everything you want to do now.”
“Even nap all day?”
“Yes, even nap all day.” Sunoo chuckled. “Should we get up now?”
You nodded as you kissed Sunoo one last time again, before you were letting yourself get pulled up by him. “You're really amazing, you know that?”
“I can't be more amazing than you,” he simply said. “I’ll do some housework while you write, okay? And if you need anything just call for me.”
~~~
The world outside had slowly turned dark while you were typing word after word onto your assignment, only interrupted by a couple yawns here and there. You could hear Sunoo quietly singing and humming while he did the housework, cleaning up and folding some laundry, and it surprisingly calmed you down a lot. You found it easier to focus with him in the background - yes, even if you occasionally caught yourself staring at him - and so you somehow managed to write page after page after page.
“Hey, sprout?”
You looked up from your computer and saw Sunoo standing in front of you, a soft smile on his face.
“Yes?”
“When was the last time you filled up your glass of water?”
Oh. You were staring at it quizzically, as if the glass could somehow answer you. “I don't know… I refilled it once after our nap. I didn't really have time to do it again.”
Sunoo chuckled. “You're so lucky you don't live alone anymore, your chances of survival would be incredibly low. That was a few hours ago.”
“I can survive a few hours without water though,” you pouted. “I’m fine.”
Sunoo just looked at you, before he gave you a little kiss. “You know how easily you get headaches. Especially when you sit in front of the computer all day. Let me take care of that, hm? You just keep focusing on your work.”
You simply nodded. You knew Sunoo was right, and you knew you would regret not drinking enough water later, but your whole focus had been on this assignment. It didn't take long for him to come back, a glass of water in one hand and a plate in the other.
“I got you some snacks too! Some fruits, grapes, all the stuff you like.”
You were about to thank him when you spotted the things on the plate. The grapes were placed on toothpicks to make it look like tiny animals, the apple slices were flower shaped and he had added a bunch of colorful berries too.
“Sunoo that's-”
“I thought it might motivate you to eat if I arrange it prettily.”
“It's beautiful. The little animals are so cute.”
Sunoos eyes lit up. “I suddenly had this idea… I’m happy you like it.”
“I love it!” You quickly pulled him closer to kiss him. “I love you. Thank you Sunoo.”
“You're so welcome. I hope it can get you through the rest of your work.”
~~~
“Aaand I am done!” you finally declared as you closed your laptop. “This assignment is officially over.”
Sunoo almost jumped towards you, his arms wrapping around you. “I am so proud of you. I knew you could do it.”
“Thank you, Sun,” you smiled as you ate the last of your berries. “One thing less to worry about.”
“You did amazing, Sprout. I bet there's absolutely no reason to worry.”
You looked up at him, a content look on your face. “You're really the best. I wouldn't have finished it today if it wasn't for you.”
“Eh, I barely did anything. But we need to celebrate now! What do you want to do, should I order us takeout? Do you still want to take a nap? Or-”
“Let me get up first,” you giggled. “I don't think I can move after sitting down for so long.”
“Of course, of course,” Sunoo nodded. “Want me to massage you?”
“Oh!” Your eyes lit up. “Yes, yes please.”
“I’m on it.”
Sunoo pulled you towards the couch and made you sit down in front of him. His hands were pushing your hair over your shoulder before you felt them kneading your skin, applying the pressure in all the right places.
“Is this good?” His voice was quiet and low, making you shiver under his hands.
“It's perfect,” you whispered while you had to fight the urge to just doze off. You could hear Sunoo chuckle.
“Do you want to lie down? I can massage you like that too.”
“You're perfect,” you whispered again. “I’d love that.”
Lying down like this made it even harder to stay awake - so you dozed off after a couple minutes.
~~~
When you woke up again you found yourself in your bed, Sunoos arms wrapped around you.
“I thought the bed might be more comfortable,” he mumbled before he pressed a kiss against your cheek. “I ordered us takeout, it should arrive soon. And we could watch a movie while we're eating? Or we just talk.”
“What did I do to deserve you.” You pulled him closer to kiss him again, not wanting to let go. But your plan was disturbed by the sound of the door bell, and Sunoo stood up after one last kiss.
“That's our food, I’m sorry.”
“Don't be. I will pick out a movie while you pay!”
You both almost jumped towards the living room, Sunoo rushing towards the door while you turned on the tv, settling on a movie you knew you both would enjoy.
“Hey,” you heard after a minute, Sunoo leaning against the doorframe. “Did I already tell you how pretty you look today?”
You could feel yourself blushing while you stared at him, a smile spreading on your face. “You didn't - but thank you.”
“Well I need to catch up on it then,” Sunoo shrugged while he placed your favorite food on the tiny table in front of the tv. “Come here please.”
You moved closer to him so you could lean your back against his chest, his hand moving through your hair while the other one was wrapped around you.
“You're so pretty, sprout,” he mumbled into your ear, his lips soft against your neck. “I am so lucky. And I am so happy that you were successful today. You did so well.”
“It was nothing,” you whispered, blushing again. “You helped me a lot.”
“It is though. I am so proud of you.”
“Thank you.” You closed your eyes again, taking in the feeling of Sunoos hands massaging your scalp.
“Let's eat before you fall asleep again, hm?” Sunoo laughed.
“I can't help it, you're just so comfy.”
“You are too, sprout.”
“I can't promise that I won't fall asleep during the movie,” you yawned. “But dinner sounds good right now.”
“I will hold you close when you do, don't worry. We can just watch the rest tomorrow then.”
You gave him a little peck on the cheek before you shifted your attention towards the food in front of you. “That sounds perfect. You are perfect.”
“You even more,” Sunoo grinned, his eyebrows raising when he saw you open your mouth. ”Ah ah ah- no arguing.”
A second later you found your mouth full with the ordered food, effectively shutting you up - at least for now.

I wrote this story as a distraction for a friend before she disappeared to the US - and now it will hopefully be a little distraction for the people living there (and everyone else, of course). I am sending you all a big hug after todays news. Take a little break if you can, you deserve it 🩷

Haunted
(Read on AO3)
Steve hates the silence. He never used to - the silence used to mean that his parents weren’t screaming at each other, or at him. It meant that he wasn’t putting on some schmoozy performance to win over the heart of another girl, or being overly-boisterous with the other guys on the team. Silence used to be Steve’s reprieve, a sign that he could relax, a thing to bask in.
Now the silence is a lack of Eddie’s music. It’s the absence of Max’s laughter and of Dustin’s ramblings about scientific things Steve’ll never be able to wrap his head around. It’s a lack of Nancy’s voice reciting flash cards and Robin’s quiet confessions of her crushes and gossip.
Silence means he’s alone. It’s his choice - he can have almost all of those things back if he wants… but the one that he wants the most is the one that he’s lost forever, and he can’t bring himself to embrace what remains when it only reminds him of what’s missing.
Steve can’t even listen to the radio any more. Every song reminds him of Eddie - it’s either a band Eddie told him he should listen to, or one he made fun of Steve for unapologetically loving.
It hurts. It hurts so much more than he ever thought it could. Eddie was barely his friend… they hardly knew each other. Maybe it was the trauma bonding, but it didn’t take long at all for Eddie to become a fixture that Steve wanted by his side.
Needed by his side.
It took Eddie even less time to sacrifice himself and leave Steve behind.
He knows he shouldn’t care. He shouldn’t take it personally. Steve was probably the last thing on Eddie’s mind when he decided to stay behind and buy them the time they so desperately needed… and that only makes Steve feel worse, somehow.
There’s no winning, so Steve chooses to lose.
He loses himself. He loses the things he still has, the things he still wants but can’t bring himself to keep. He doesn’t feel like he deserves anything in his life that may bring him happiness. Not now, at least, and maybe not ever.
There are some things - some people - he can’t seen to just lose. People who aren’t easily shaken, so he pushes them away. He forces them away, locking himself behind doors and walls until their knocking grows quieter and less frequent, before stopping entirely.
And when Steve thinks he's finally, blissfully alone, he realizes that he isn’t.
Steve doesn’t think much of it the first couple of times. A flickering light here and there just feels right. He’s a ghost of himself, haunting his own home, wandering the empty rooms without purpose. It takes him longer than he’s proud of to realize that it follows him from room to room, moving from a table lamp to a ceiling light to the hallway light plugged into the wall by the bathroom. It takes him even longer to notice the pattern.
The lights aren’t flickering, they’re blinking, shifting on and off in the same repetition. It’s a pattern. A fucking pattern.
He does the math in his head - he has five more days until his parents come home. They’ve been gone for five already - ten is the sweet spot of days they’ll spend away consecutively. After that they come home to play house, keeping up appearances just enough that no one questions the fact that they leave their teenager home alone more often than not.
Steve leaves his house for the first time in days to go to the library and check out a book on morse code, then stops to get enough bread, peanut butter, and jelly to last him a week before going back home. He knows he could - should - ask Dustin for help. Hell, he knows Robin, Nancy, or any one of those kids would be willing to come over and pitch in. But he can’t. Not until… just not yet.
Steve turns off every light in the house and begins to walk. He moves slowly, not sure if he should be feeling for some sort of energy or if he should be waiting for it to find him.
He’s in the kitchen when one of the ceiling fan lights flickers on then off rapidly. Then again. And then two more times.
Then a pause. It isn’t long, but it’s long enough for Steve to grab the little notebook out of his pocket and a pen. He hadn’t thought far enough ahead to realize he’d be in the dark and unable to see the page, so the next time the light flickers he uses the short burst of light to jot down the marks.
.... / . / .-.. / .-.. / ---
Steve starts writing the first four dots, then the second separate one, before realizing it’s repeating again. Steve feels a rush of adrenaline that's a little too close to hope for his comfort as he turns all the lights in the room back on and goes to the book.
hello
Steve laughs. Hello?
“Hello right back at’cha,” Steve says out loud.
He's in the middle of deciding whether or not he should try to ask a question when the lights, which are currently on, begin to flicker off in a new pattern.
..-. / .. / -. / .- / .-.. / .-.. / -.--
finally
Steve huffs out an indigent breath. “Finally? Half the town’s in shambles, how am I supposed to know to pay attention to the shitty light bulbs?!”
There’s no response, and Steve feels an immediate surge of panic tighten his chest and quicken his heartbeat.
“Are you there?” Steve hates the pitch up in his voice, the way he can’t keep the tremor out of it. “Eddie?”
The name is barely a whisper because Steve doesn’t want to jinx it. Of course he wants it to be Eddie. He can’t imagine who - or what - else it could be. Up until now he could just assume, but now he’s said it out loud. Now, he’s opened up the possibility of finding out he’s wrong and having all his hopes dashed with one flicker of light.
.... / . / .-. / .
here
Steve remains silent, tense, waiting. Hoping. Praying. And then--
. / -.. / -.. / .. / .
eddie
Eddie. It’s him, it’s really him.
“Holy shit.”

probably time for this story i guess but when i was a kid there was a summer that my brother was really into making smoothies and milkshakes. part of this was that we didn't have AC and couldn't afford to run fans all day so it was kind of important to get good at making Cool Down Concoctions.
we also had a patch of mint, and he had two impressionable little sisters who had the attitude of "fuck it, might as well."
at one point, for fun, this 16 year old boy with a dream in his eye and scientific fervor in heart just wanted to see how far one could push the idea of "vanilla mint smoothie". how much vanilla extract and how much mint can go into a blender before it truly is inedible.
the answer is 3 cups of vanilla extract, 1/2 cup milk alternative, and about 50 sprigs (not leaves, whole spring) of mint. add ice and the courage of a child. idk, it was summer and we were bored.
the word i would use to describe the feeling of drinking it would maybe be "violent" or perhaps, like. "triangular." my nose felt pristine. inhaling following the first sip was like trying to sculpt a new face. i was ensconced in a mesh of horror. it was something beyond taste. for years after, i assumed those commercials that said "this is how it feels to chew five gum" were referencing the exact experience of this singular viscous smoothie.
what's worse is that we knew our mother would hate that we wasted so much vanilla extract. so we had to make it worth it. we had to actually finish the drink. it wasn't "wasting" it if we actually drank it, right? we huddled around outside in the blistering sun, gagging and passing around a single green potion, shivering with disgust. each sip was transcendent, but in a sort of non-euclidean way. i think this is where i lost my binary gender. it eroded certain parts of me in an acidic gut ecology collapse.
here's the thing about love and trust: the next day my brother made a different shake, and i drank it without complaint. it's been like 15 years. he's now a genuinely skilled cook. sometimes one of the three of us will fuck up in the kitchen or find something horrible or make a terrible smoothie mistake and then we pass it to each other, single potion bottle, and we say try it it's delicious. it always smells disgusting. and then, cerimonious, we drink it together. because that's what family does.
#this is true#writeblr#warm up#relatedly for some reason one of our Favorite Jokes#amongst the Siblings#is like - ''this is so good u will love it''#while we are reacting to something we OBVIOUSLY find viscerally disgusting#like we will be actively retching and be like ''nooooo it's so good''#to the point that i sometimes get nervous if someone outside my family is like oh u should try it its good#(obvi we never force each other to eat anything. we are all just curious birds and#like. we're GONNA try the new thing.)#edit to answer why we had so much vanilla:#my mom is a very good cook and we LOVE to bake. so she just had a lot of staples in the house.#it's one of those things that's like. have u ever continuously thought ''ah i should get butter im probably out''#even tho u are not out of butter. so u end up with like 5 years of butter.#my mom would do that in a costco but like with vanilla extract#to be fair we WERE always using WAY TOO MUCH bc we were kids#so like she was right to stock up#ps. yes we were VERY sick after this lol i just didn't want to include it in the post in case ppl had an ick about that#u can tell it's real bc we knew "oh no we fucked up that's too much vanilla to waste'' but our reaction was to just. keep drinking it#> sibling understanding that vanilla extract isn't free > knowledge mother doesnt mind if we use it for milkshakes#> sibling choice to maybe get in a loophole of ''not wasting it'' if we drink it bc that's the same as using it (not throwing it out)#listen bud i was like 13 and my sister was like 9#when my mom discovered this we. got in. A LOT. of trouble. a lot of it. a LOT of it.#3rd edit bc i guess it isn't clear - i am 1 of my brother's 2 little sisters#i am the middle child#out of all the ways i have had to explain a post before being like ''did u forget a middle child can happen'' is my favorite

part 2 lol
so apparently it's really fucking hard to get into the SAS. and ontop of that I've been getting tiktoks of people going around an army base asking why they joined. most responses were to pay off student loans, bills, school, (someone said there's was 6 years of prison or school and *mental note for idea*), the recruiter lied or spoilt them, barracks bunny.
141 (poly?) x notsobaddasssoldier!reader
and now i can't stop thinking of soldier!reader. who really half-assed their way through everything - only doing the job for the money and to pay off student loans + they had nothing better to do.
who somehow ends up being adopted by Price (kinda like Gaz i guess ???) all because reader happened to be in the right place at the right time and saved Price's ass while managing to complete a mission the Task Force were doing.
and it's not that you saved his ass or completed the mission that makes Price go *this is mine* - it's the fact that afterwards all you can say is-
"this shit is so not worth paying off my student loans."
"oh fuck i forgot to cancel my subscription. fuckk- waste of fucking money"
- all the while a building is burning in front of you but yeah just not at all concerned about what had just happened. so price just *grabs you by the back of your neck and holds you up, claiming you as part of his task force now.*
(lol you probably can't do that irl but this is fiction sooo suck my ass.)
and laswell's just like no... they are very much still green john. way too green. no.
but it's too late. he's already introducing you to the task force. singing your praises and you're just like
"man he promised to pay off my student loans and give me food." basically how ur recruiter got ya ass.
enough said. you get the whole off the books speech, saving the world by doing things others wouldn't like. but u couldn't give a rats ass - you should but nah...
and like... you know you're the rookie... you're still green... but some of the shit 141 do you just...
"so you just gonna kidnap the wife AND the child...? right... kid, you wanna watch bluey? here..."
"and you do this often...? crazy."
but you don't exactly protest. how could you with how much you get paid. you kinda just side-eye and look away when it's geta a lil crazy. *bombastic side-eye*
and the other 141 guys - oh my days. become just as enormed as price and want to start really trying to amplify your skills. but every time, they start explaining how to do things - the best way to go about a situation or how to fight a certain way.
you pull this face. like your top lip pulls back, your eyebrows scrunch together, and there's a slight frown on your lips as they speak. like you look confused/disgusted. but you don't even realise cause-
"why're you pulling that face?" 141
"that's... that's just my focusing face..."
"oh..." 141 feels bad
then when they do take you in feild you're shaking your head no. like you haven't been around that long. what the fuck? now you're bout to infiltrate an enemy base!?!?!
"can i just wait in the car?"
"no." price
"i'm gonna vomit."
"aim at the enemy." ghost
people think that because you're suddenly in this badass task force that surely they're just using you for your assets.
they all think you're the 141 barracks bunny. and maybe you should be pissed or annoyed or grossed out. but all you can do is sigh and pause from the burger price got you, and let out a long exhale.
"fuck... maybe i can just do onlyfans or be a pornstar... shit maybe it's not too late..."
"military is bascially sex work - selling my body..."
"not that different from what i'm doing now. body being used, check. body sore in the strangest places, check."
your tone so empty, blank and nonchalant, but there's a serious look in your eyes that when you grab your phone out to maybe do a little research on how you could do that, your phone is snatched from your hand by one of the guys and they walk out the room without a second look back.
with an annoyed huff, you go back to eating your burger. but suddenly, you turn to the person who genuinely thought you were a barracks bunny.
"hey you think if i be a barracks bunny i get out of missions and shit?"
"...that's not how it works..." rando.
"fuck."
and maybe you try...
like you go to price's office and the guys are already in there, chatting about something that you should really pay attention too but you can't be assed. instead you unashamedly start to speak...
"if i suck ya'll dicks can i get out the mission?"
"no. you still have to join." gaz says amused
"even if you-" *que long sigh from price* "even if you suck our dicks."
"that's fucked up. i should've done porn."
and with the most hurt and broken-hearted look on your face, you leave the office, closing the door with a dramatic sigh. the guys just stare at the door in... confusion, amusement, and maybe arousal if ya'll dig that
idk man just gimmie more soldier!reader who just really ain't the fucked, there for money, lowkey hungry and doesn't know what the fuck is happening. kinda a pet or little sibling energy that the 141 love.
bonus*
"wait so they aren't sucking our dicks?" *soap says getting slapped in the back of the head by ghost
a/n: brain is rottinnggg. i should be doing so much other shit but... cod just consumes my brain 24/7

third times the charm
pairing: tyler owens x f!reader
word count: 3.8k
summary: life has a funny way of putting people in your path, and ultimately making them part of your life. but what happens when the one person you never want to see stumbles in over and over again, a disastrous tornado tearing up your path of moving on?
aka: the two times tyler owens enters and, consequently, leaves, your life at the wrong time, and the one time he comes at the perfect moment and finally stays.
warnings: reader is described in a feminine manner; why are we ignoring his bull rider trope? cause i'm not babes xx; angsty mainly, but fluff too; lovers to enemies back to lovers (sorry); this author knows nothing about tornadoes or weather so sorry
shoutout to megan moroney and her banger new album where this title and idea come from :)

"What do you mean you're leaving?!"
Tyler shuts the tailgate of his red pick-up with a loud slam, the cowboy hat on his head nearly flying off with the force. Y/N stood just a few feet away, her arms crossed over her torso as her chest heaved in short, shaking breaths. The sunlight hits her just right, and the gold chain around her neck glimmers in the sunlight. It catches Tyler's attention from the corner of his eye-it had been burned into his mind from the moment he'd bought it with a chunk of his earnings from last year's rodeo. The chain was delicate, simple, but the charm had been the main appeal: it was gold, the same shade as the chain, but in the center of the small heart shaped pendant sat a capital 'T'. She'd worn it since he'd given it to her for a birthday present, and it had been the center piece of even their most intimate moments-her bare beneath him with only the glittering jewelry adorning her as he had her unraveling under his touch. Even the thought of it had heat traveling up Tyler's neck, and he swallowed down the feeling, along with all of the guilt bubbling to the surface.
"I'm leavin', simple as that."
"Ty, I-I don't understand. You get bucked off one time and you're giving up?! You've been riding since we were kids, I-"
He turns to her, emerald eyes blazing with an emotion he couldn't put a label on.
"I didn't just get 'bucked off', I almost got my head trampled in case you forgot!" His voice is laced with anger. He's not angry with her, he's angry with himself. After a series of unfortunate injuries in last month's local rodeo, Tyler knew he couldn't ride again, it would kill him. He'd spent the last few weeks in physical therapy and doctor's offices just to make sure the damn bull hadn't left behind more than scars.
It was better this way, he could leave his town behind, and forget about the deep, gut-twisting feeling of failure that sat like acid in his stomach. But leaving his hometown also meant leaving her.
Tyler had fallen for Y/N their junior year of high school, and they'd rarely been seen without one another ever since then. She was sweet and shy to his brash and confident, his biggest supporter-always sitting in the stands for all of his rides-whether he was the talk of the town or stumbling home, his shotgun rider, and the girl who wore his heart (literally and figuratively) on a chain around her neck. Looking at her now, with tears lining under her gorgeous eyes, he wanted to just forget all of his plans and pull her into his arms. He wanted to reassure her that he'd stay here, that he'd give her the life that he'd promised her-apple pie and babies, the perfect picket-fence life she deserved.
"Tyler, you-you can't be serious! W-What about your parents, your plans, hell, Tyler, what about me?!" Her shoulders now moved as she let out shuddering breaths, eyebrows furrowed as she grew frustrated. "Tyler Owens you promised me, you promised me a farmhouse, and a wrap-around porch, a-and babies! And now you're just gonna take off to God-knows-where to what? Storm chase?"
She stops and lets out a dry chuckle. She'd been 'chasing' with him before, vivid memories of him scaring her shitless chasing tornadoes in his truck, only to 'apologize' to her by making love in the backseat after the storm had passed. Through their time together, she, too, had grown to love the storms. Y/N took her camera into the storms with them, more than ready to capture the freakishly beautiful moments of pure disaster before it struck. She'd stand in the pouring rain next to him, laughing as wind whipped hair around her face. He'd snap a picture of her with her own camera that she'd set aside and she'd roll her eyes. They'd been happy, bonded by a mutual love of mother nature's chaos and one another. Now, she turns her back to face him, shaking her head as her bottom lip trembles.
"Ya know, I should've listened to everyone who told me to stay away from you in high school, that you'd just hurt me. I didn't believe them, not one bit, because I know you. You're running because you're scared. You don't have to run, Ty. You've never run from your fears, for God's sake you ride them! What the hell are you thinking?!"
Tears stream down her face, and Tyler feels his resolve slipping. He hadn't thought it through, not really, and now as she stands in front of him, he realizes he's only hurting her more and more. He needed an out, he needed to skip town, no matter who it hurt.
"I'm thinking that I'm a fuckin' failure at everything, no matter what I try! The only thing I'm good at is storms, chasin' them, getting close enough to see something! I fail at everything, Y/N/N, and if I stay, I'll just fail you, too. Over and over."
"Tyler, you've never failed me," she brings her hands to either side of his face, her thumb brushing a cut that still hadn't scarred over from his fall. Her eyes were blurry and her hands trembled. "Please, stay." Her voice was hardly a whisper, pleading desperately.
"You know I can't."
She nodded solemnly, wiping tears so she could take a final look into his eyes. She gave no warning when she launched her arms around his neck, all but hanging onto him like a child. He hugged her tighter than he ever had, and when she let go, he placed a final heated goodbye kiss on her lips. Y/N looks at him, her brain screaming pleas to make him stay, but she simply kisses his cheek before speaking.
"C-call me when you get there?"
He takes one last glance at her, taking her in completely, as if trying to memorize her. His eyes land on the jewelry adorning the spot just below her collarbone, the gold shining in the sunset, knowing he'd never see it on her again-if he ever even saw her again.
"You'll be the first person I call, baby."
Y/N's call never came.
She spent the summer miserable, but refused to take off the gold chain she hid under shirts. It burned her skin in a metaphorical sense, but she ignored it, just like the heartbreak that had festered into deep resentment for Tyler Owens. She'd decided to take off to the local university for a clean start, somewhere new, somewhere his ghost wouldn't haunt her. Things had begun to look up, and she found herself smiling again. The morning before her first day of classes, she almost took the chain off, but couldn't bring herself to do so.
When she spotted his tall figure sitting a row ahead of her in her Intro to Meteorology class, she pretended not to know who he was. It was only fair, he'd done the same to her. For a reason that neither of them could vocalize, they begin to hate one another. Without knowing it, Tyler had become the storm that had sparked her into chasing after danger forever, the one that had left destruction so fatal she wasn't sure if she'd ever recover.
-
ii.
"You've got to be kidding me."
Y/N rolls her eyes and nearly throws her laptop across her dorm room when she looks down at her field partner pairing. The name in bold stares back at her like some sick joke.
Tyler Owens.
She shuts her laptop with a force that could shatter glass and slams her face into her pillow to let out a scream that could have easily been heard four counties over. The universe had to hate her.
With one glance at her watch, she hops from her bed and packs her duffel, her camera slung around her other shoulder. After silently praying that this storm takes her away in one quick swoop, she opens the door to her room and stumbles down the stairs to the lobby, where he was waiting for her outside the double doors. She can already feel her skin flaming with anger when she catches sight of his towering frame, baseball cap thrown backwards over his head.
"'Bout fuckin' time sweetheart, thought the storm would pass before we even got out there!"
"Oh, kiss my ass, Owens."
She rolls her eyes and climbs into the red truck she had once been a permanent fixture in, feeling almost like nothing had changed since the last time she'd crawled into the passenger side. She had half a mind to let down the driver's side visor to see if her picture still sat inside it, but Tyler climbs in the second she thinks about it. The half hour drive is uncomfortable, silent, and laced with tension so thick both halves of the couple begin to wonder if the air supply is getting thin. But as the storm approaches, both of their eyes are locked on the massive twisting figure just ahead of them. Y/N reaches for her camera, focusing the lens as best as she can through the windshield of the truck. She sighs when the view is less than satisfactory. Without much thought, she begins to move the window crank on the door to let down the window.
"What the hell are you doin'?" Tyler's voice breaks their silence.
"What does it look like, Owens? Getting a better shot." Her body hangs halfway out the window, camera leaning out the window as she moves the lens and clicks.
"Get your ass in the truck, I'm not payin' your hospital bills when you fall out and I run over you."
She rolls her eyes and ignores him, almost her entire body hanging out the window.
"Okay, okay, get in the truck, I'll get you closer, Jesus."
She pulls herself back into the truck and rolls the window back up as Tyler moves forward down the muddy path, closer to the storm now building ahead. The wind and rain grow more intense, shaking even the bulky vehicle that could easily withstand even the most treacherous of conditions. The spiraling tunnel only moves at a more pummeling speed, and Y/N's sharp shout fills the air.
"Stop the truck!"
He hits the brake and before the truck even stops, Y/N's rolling out of the passenger side, camera raised as she captures a monster of a storm. Tyler finds himself silent, momentarily distracted-her hair blowing with the force of the wind, the smile drawn across her face, and the long sleeve button down she'd been wearing was slipping down her shoulders, exposing her tank top and-wait-he raises an eyebrow, his heart stopping. Against her neck sat a gold chain he knew too well. It stops him completely in his tracks, shocked that she still wore his initial around her neck. The sound of a roaring train pulls him from his thoughts and sends him leaning out his own door.
"Y/N," he's shouting over the loud winds. "GET YOUR ASS IN THE TRUCK!"
The barrel of wind only gets closer, the fierceness of wind making Tyler's heart race. The girl outside his truck, however, only smiles wider, raising her camera for another shot of the approaching storm.
"I'M FINE, TYLER. WIND'S NOT EVEN THAT BAD!"
Tyler huffs as his voice, raspy from yelling, shouts again.
"THAT WASN'T A REQUEST, SWEETHEART. GET YOUR ASS IN THIS TRUCK!"
She ignores his shouts, only squinting her eyes at the horizon as the wind picks up another notch, making the shirt now halfway down on her arms blow like a flag in the wind. Tyler gives her a minute to comply, hoping this was just a momentary phase of her being stubborn. After five minutes, Tyler cursed and stomped out of the truck over to her. He says nothing, picking her up over his shoulder.
"TYLER! WHAT THE FUCK?! PUT ME DOWN, ASSHOLE!"
He doesn't give in to her retorts, simply swinging her door open and shoving her into the passenger seat. He gets into his driver's side and slings his arm on her headrest, turning to back the truck around.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! Do you have some sort of sick kink where you get off on ruining my life? I had a perfect shot, it-"
"You had a perfect shot of getting sucked into a tornado is what you had, Y/N. You're gonna get yourself killed gettin' that fuckin' close!"
"Like you would care." Her voice isn't even a mumble, and Tyler hardly hears her over the sounds of the storm.
It sends a jab of pain through his heart he doesn't expect, and instead of saying anything, he lets her stew in anger in his passenger seat. When he drops her off at her dorm, she agrees to email him her half of the project, and a week later he receives it.
He opens the email to find exactly what he imagines, the most spectacular shots of a storm he's ever seen. After the report and photos are submitted, the two never speak to one another again. They both graduate under the same Arkansas sun, but lead different lives in the same area of the country. Y/N swears she sees his truck pass her every time she goes out to shoot, and he sees her in every girl that stands in a field with a camera.
Y/N would never admit that she has a burner account subscribed to his livestreams, or that she laughed and smiled as she watched him hoop and holler with his ragtag group of friends, memories of the chases they once went on filling her mind more fondly than painfully these days. And if she had one of the red and white shirts with his stupid cartoon face plastered against it, well, no one would ever know.
When Boone and the rest of his crew would stop for food and rest breaks, if Tyler saw her name plastered in a newspaper or magazine, he'd put it on the counter next to his plethora of snacks. He'd never admit he'd cut her articles out of them and kept them in a small scrapbook that lived in his glovebox, right next to the picture of her that once lived in his visor-only because a magazine cut-out clip of her lived there now, her smiling with a massive twin barrel storm behind her, the gold chain peeking from the shirt was wearing.
-
iii.
"Ty, man, this one's a beaut! She's unreal!"
Boone's voice filled Tyler's ears from the passenger seat, but as Tyler looked out at the horizon, his attention was far from the brunette that sat next to him. He saw her car before he saw her-the same rink-dink, decked out, black Subaru she'd had in college, meaning she was here on her own, not for business.
His green eyes darted to the field across from where it was parked, spotting her instantly as she stood in the tall grass, hair blowing as she brought her camera to her face, crouching down to get the perfect shot. She shook her head when she pulled back from it, enjoying the sight in front of her.
Tyler puts the truck in park and all but barrels out of the door, his boots taking him towards her, but not nearly fast enough.
"Jesus, who's that? And why's she got Ty all in a tizzy?" Boone leans over to Lilly, who gives him an incredulous look.
"That's Y/N Y/L/N, she's a storm photographer, apparently he's got some fan girl crush on her or somethin', he keeps her work in a binder."
"Holy shit! Tyler knows the Y/N Y/L/N?"
Tyler would've blushed and denied Lilly's statement vehemently, but he was too far away to hear. Instead, the whipping winds and the sound of Y/N's delightful laughter filled his ears.
"She's a beaut, huh?" Tyler's voice carries over the noise, falling on Y/N's ears. She takes a breath and turns to face him for the first time in years. She nods slowly.
"Yeah, she's gorgeous. Got some great shots."
Her throat feels dry as his eyes peer down at her. She finally braves a look up at him.
"Um, I'm not studying it or anything, just bored, really. I'll let you and your crew have her."
She gives him a small smile, but he notes it's genuine as she caps the lens on her camera.
"It was good to see you, Ty. Good luck."
"Y/N, wait. I-I need to ask you somethin'."
She pauses her steps, turning back to face the man in front of her. For a split second, he looks just like the younger version that had left her all those years ago-the hat, the belt buckle, but none of that same all consuming fear.
"Sure, go ahead."
"Why do you still wear it? I saw you, that time in college, and when you did that shoot outside of Kansas City, the picture they published of you, it-you can see it real clear."
Y/N stills, pushing back hair that's blowing in the wind as she looks at him. She could say a multitude of things-how she wore it because she'd gotten so used to always wearing it. That she wore it because she wanted to hold onto him the only way she could. She could lie and say that she used it as a good luck charm. None of them would be the truth, and she was sick of lying to him, so she simply told the truth.
"Well, all the best chasers, they carry their first storm with them, right?"
She pauses, realizing how vague that was.
"What I mean is, without you taking me through my first storm I never would've done this. I was terrified of them, and you and that stupid red truck of yours showed me how beautiful they can be, and now I capture their beauty for a living. I never would've had any of this without you, so-"
She shrugs, giving him a small chuckle. The silence suffocates as he looks at her.
"Tyler listen-"
"If you're gonna apologize, don't. I'm the one that should apologize, I left you all those years ago. That was real shitty of me, and I didn't give you a warnin' or a reason why. So, I'm sorry, for all of it."
She nods, giving him a smile. The quiet floods between them again, and she pushes back her hair again before she speaks.
"I-I watch your videos, y-your livestreams. You're still crazy, but it reminds me of when we used to chase, and you'd scare me to death, and then you'd, uh, 'apologize' for it and, sometimes it's like I'm there with you."
He laughs with her.
"I-I've got every newspaper and magazine clippin' you've ever been in. You're pictures they're-breathtakin', it feels like you're standin' in the field right there next to you. I guess that's just because I used to be and memories, ya know?"
She nodded, giving him a sweet smile, one that sends his heart racing. They both turn their attention to the horizon where the storm seems relatively calm, at least by their standards.
"Uh, Y/N? I'm sorry, I promised you somethin' all those years ago, and I never made good on it. I think about that a lot, and-just-I'm sorry."
"I forgave you a long time ago, Ty, we were kids." She pauses, tilting her head as she looks at the storm brewing. "Besides, I don't think I'm cut out for that life anymore, I like life on the road. I mean, where else do you get moments like this? The storms back home are wonders, but nothing like this."
"I agree with you there," he chuckles. His heart pounds, and the words slip out of his mouth before he can stop them. "I miss you though."
She cuts her eyes to his own, as if waiting for him to explain himself.
"You were my original chasin' partner, ya know? Plus, when things got scary, you never flinched, not really. This reporter I've got now? God help us all, can't stand much more than a strong wind."
Y/N laughs loudly before she shakes her head.
"Well, you might be in luck. I hate working for that magazine, I really, really do." She turns to face him, camera pulled close to her chest. "The Tornado Wranglers hiring? I'm looking for a job. I have a portfolio if you need it, references too."
Her statement is laced with sarcasm.
Tyler finds himself laughing now, a wide smile plastered across his face.
"I'm familiar with your work, have it on good graces that you're just what we're lookin' for. Lucky for you, we've always got room for one more, that is, if you'll have us. I gotta warn you, those over there are a handful."
"If they're anything like you, I'm likely to fall in love with them instantly."
Y/N doesn't register the words stumbling out of her mouth until they'd already filled the air between them. Without a word, Tyler grabs her hand, pulling her in closer than people who have a history like theirs should. His calloused fingers reach out to the gold pendant lying on her neck, moving it back and forth between its fingers. It had withstood their time apart-it was scratched and a little weather-worn, but, then again, so were they.
"The clasp broke about a year ago, the rest is all original. Pure gold, willing to sell it for a good offer. The guy at the pawn tried to undersell me, I know what I've got."
Tyler's chest warms, that sarcastic, witty humor he'd missed back in full force.
"Do you take alternate forms of payment?" He pulls her in by her waist with a cocky grin.
"Depends, Owens, what did you have in mind?"
He cocks his eyebrow, giving her a sort of contemplative look as his hands rest on the small of her back, hers around his neck.
"Well, I still owe you about-," He lifts his hand from around her and pretends to count on his fingers. "A billion apologies, we could chase this stunner of a storm, drop these characters back off at the motel, find us an empty field, and I could apologize like I used to...maybe?"
She shakes her head and pulls him in for a heated kiss. They're both smiling so hard its hardly a kiss, but the feelings are there.
"You've got yourself a deal, but I'm keeping the necklace."
"Wouldn't have it any other way, baby." He kisses her head, pulling her back towards his group of friends, who were now whistling at the pair, obviously catching the interaction. "Fair warning, after he finds out just who you are, Boone's likely to fall in love with you."
She raises her eyebrow, pulling away and heading towards the motley crew ahead of her.
"Guess you'll just have to chase me next."

The Pact: Eddie Munson One Shot
Summary: As children, you and Eddie made a pact to never cross that line. But as the two of you have grown it has become almost impossible to keep. You decide to make a new pact instead. ;)
Explicit sexual content, Minors DNI, word count 3k, moved over from my old account 🖤
*******
"Eddie!" you knock loudly on the door of his trailer. His van is here so he's gotta be home.
"Eds?!" you try again, banging on the door even louder.
He's probably still sleeping. The boy doesn't wake up earlier than noon, especially on a Saturday.
You close the screen door and make your way around the trailer to his window. It's cracked slightly and the smell of weed immediately hits your nose, making you smile. He's up.
You push up on the old window, listening to the squeak as it struggles to move. "Eddie!" you shout through the crack. Again, no response.
You roll your eyes as you use all your strength to lift the window enough to crawl through. You climb in head first and tumble onto his floor. As you sit up, your eyes adjust to the dim room. You see him lying on his back on the floor, headphones on his ears, his fingers tapping away as he listens to the music.
No shirt, his tattoos on full display. Hair pulled back into a messy bun, loose curls sticking out everywhere. A pair of dark green flannel pajama pants hanging low on his waist.
Fuck, he looks good.
You watch as he brings his fingers to his lips, inhaling on the joint, releasing a cloud of smoke into the air. You tiptoe across the floor, hearing the tune of 'Dirty Women' by Black Sabbath coming from the headset as you lean over him.
His already round eyes widen even more as he sits up quickly, his head slamming into yours.
"Shit! Are you okay?" he shouts over the music still blasting in his ears. You reach out with one hand removing his headphones, leaving them dangling around his neck as you rub your forehead with your other.
"Easy Tiger." you giggle and he gives you a crooked grin. His eyes are glossed over and slightly red from his activities.
"Sorry, didn't hear you comin.” he explains, pointing towards the earphones.
"Yeah, I got that.” you smile, shoving his shoulder lightly as he scoots a little closer to you.
"Thought you were coming by tonight?" he raises an eyebrow as he stands up, holding his hand out to you. You grab his hand and he pulls you from the ground.
"My shift got canceled and I was bored." you shrug, reaching out for the joint in his hand.
"I have an idea.” Eddie says suddenly, his brown glinting. You inhale deeply on the joint and wait for him to continue. He stands there silently, eyes zoning in on your chest.
"Eddie!" you smack him upside the head bringing him out of his daze and he shakes his wild hair.
“Sorry.. I'm high." he shrugs with a little wiggle of his brows.
"Your idea?" you push.
"Right.. the clubhouse. Let's hotbox." A slick smile spreads on his pretty lips. Every time you're together, you have to fight the urge to kiss him. To touch him. To beg him to touch you.
You had both made a pact. An oath. You were best friends. You couldn't cross that line. But now.. every year it gets harder and harder to keep it.
I wonder if he feels the same.
"Hello?” Eddie snaps his fingers in front of your face teasingly.
"Mhmm.. yeah. Let's go." you grin at him and his smile widens. He walks over to his nightstand, swiping up his little lunchbox.
You make your way outside, following the familiar trail into the woods behind the trailer park. You used to come here all the time together. Staying up, eating bags of candy and telling scary stories until Wayne would come and drag you both out.
You reach the rickety ladder leading high into the trees and glance over at Eddie, a nervous look on your face.
"When's the last time you've been up here? It looks... well, it looks like we're gonna die if we attempt this."
"Oh, we're fine. Come on. You first." he encourages, his hand landing on your waist. The small touch sends tingles down your spine.
"Why do I have to go first?" you groan, grabbing hold of the wooden plank.
"That way I can catch you if you fall." he explains, keeping his hand resting gently on your side. You take a deep breath and begin your climb.
"Shit!" you squeal as your foot slips on the third step and you fall into Eddie, his free hand lands on your ass, holding you up.
"Oops." you laugh, turning to peek at Eddie. His hand remains in place making you blush.
“Eds?" you nod towards his hand and he just smiles.
"Total accident, sweetheart. Swear." he cheeses. Your heart starts to pound in your chest. He's flirting. Shit, no... He always flirts. It's just friendly banter. Normal for the two of you. But is that all it is? Fuck.
You continue up the ladder, Eddie following close behind until you reach the top. You push the Spider-Man sheet to the side and crawl into the small treehouse. Everything looks about the same. A few new additions since the last time you've been here.
An ashtray sits in the corner, a stack of playboy and hustler magazines sprawled out, some empty beer bottles.
"Eddie Munson.." you giggle, shaking your head in mock disappointment.
Eddie plops on the dusty floor reaching out and snagging one of the magazines. "What? A man has needs."
"Ew." you joke, grabbing his lunchbox, plopping a pre rolled joint between your lips.
"What? You don't uh, take care of yourself?"
The question catches you off guard. But even more than that, his tone. It was much deeper than before. You hope your cheeks aren't as red as they feel as you meet his gaze. You light the joint, inhaling deeply, holding the smoke in your lungs a moment before exhaling.
"No, I do." you whisper, taking another toke.
Eddie watches you curiously, scooting a little closer to you in the already cramped space.
"You gonna share?" he winks at you, making your heart flutter. He's so close. All I want is to taste him. To finally give in.
"Hey, you okay?" Eddie nudges you playfully with his foot, shaking you from your thoughts. You nod sitting up on your knees in between his sprawled legs. You bring the joint to his lips and his eyes lock on yours as he inhales slowly.
You inch closer, the slight buzz from the weed making you more confident.
"Are you about to kiss me?" Eddie blurts making you pause.
"What? No!” you snort shoving his chest hard, making him fall back to the dirty floor. He coughs, the smoke filling his lungs coming out in small spurts as you move back to your spot against the wall, feeling a wild mix of emotions.
He scrambles to get back up, immediately coming to sit in front of you again. “I- uh- I wasn't gonna stop you.. if you were going to... ya know?" he mumbles under his breath.
You meet his big brown eyes, the same eyes you've looked into for years and years. There was no mistaking it. They were darker. Full of hunger. A hunger for you.
Shit.. say something. Anything. Your mind goes blank. Every part of you wanting to just kiss him.
The other part of you worried about your friendship. The whole reason the two of you made the pact.
"The pact.” you breathe.
Eddie speaks next, leaning back slightly, twisting one of his rings on his finger.
"Who do you think about when you touch yourself?" he burns lowly, his eyes searching your face.
"What?”
"Who do you think about?" he asks again, his eyes remain locked on yours.
You. Always you.
You shrug instead, keeping your thoughts to yourself.
Eddie nods slowly, taking another long puff off the joint before handing it your way. The small area was already cloudy with smoke as you both continue to add to the haze.
"It's not like we made a blood oath or something."
Eddie says after a few minutes. Both of you now feeling the effects of the high.
"We literally made a blood oath." you argue, a smile on your lips as you think back to the two of you pricking your fingers with a thumb tack.
"We were thirteen." Eddie pushes back, moving over so he's sitting right next to you. You can feel his body warmth radiating against your side. When you turn his face is only inches from yours.
"Where is this coming from?" you whisper.
"I just.. fuck, I don't know. Just, look at you." Eddie breathes out, his words making your entire body warm.
"Who do you think about?" you ask suddenly.
"I don't know what you mean." he grins widely, forcing you to ask him directly.
"When you touch yourself.. do you just think about those girls in the magazine?"
"Sometimes.. sometimes I think of someone else." he hints as his hand gradually makes its way to your thigh.
"Me?" you swallow hard, barely pushing the word out.
"Do you think about me?" he challenges, his hand resting heavily on your upper thigh.
"Yes." you admit. You knew it wasn't the drugs.
You've always wanted Eddie. But the buzz was allowing you to finally speak your truth.
You can tell he's happy with your answer, his face lighting up. His brown eyes gleaming.
"Show me."
"I don't under-'
"Show me what you do when you think about me." he cuts you off swiftly.
Holy shit. Your mind fills with wild thoughts as you take what he said into consideration. You can feel yourself throbbing at the thought. Touching yourself in front of him. Eddie's eyes watching you as you bring yourself to your peak. Would he touch himself too?
Before you can change your mind you guide your hands into your shorts, listening as Eddie inhales sharply.
"Fuck." he exhales, watching carefully as your hand meets your warmth under the material of your shorts. You close your eyes, worried that if you see him you might overthink everything.
Right now it just felt good. So good.. and you know he's watching.
"I close my eyes." you start, slowly rubbing circles around your clit. Eddie hums in response, waiting for you to keep going.
"And I see your face. I-I think about how your lips would feel.. your tongue. the sounds you would make..." you moan as you slip two fingers inside, feeling your arousal.
"What else?" Eddie rasps, his lips suddenly against your ear, his voice makes you speed up your fingers.
"I think about how you would feel inside me.. if you would be rough.. if you would.. ohh.. if you would make me scream."
"I promise I could make you scream." Eddie burns. You feel his fingers on your chin, turning you to face him. Your eyes drift open and Eddie presses his forehead against yours as you work your fingers in and out of your soaked pussy.
"I think about your fingers a lot... your rings.. I pretend my hands are yours.." you whimper, feeling yourself on the edge but not quite there.
You don't want your fingers. You want his.
"Eddie."
"You gonna cum, sweetheart?"
"I want you.. I want you to make me cum.." you whine desperately, only seconds away from your orgasm.
"Yeah?" he pants breathlessly.
"Please." you beg. He wastes no time reaching into your shorts, you remove your fingers just in time for his to replace them. His slender fingers immediately reach exactly where you need them to, curling with precision, stroking across your g spot making you cum instantly.
"Yes! Oh fuck!" you cry, your muscles pulsing around his fingers, Eddie watches in awe as you fall apart beneath his hand.
"Holy fuck.” Eddie groans deeply, slowly working you through your orgasm.
You grab him, slamming your lips into his pulling a moan from him instantly. He leans in, his body pressing you down to the floor as you tangle your hands in his hair.
Fuck.
He tastes like weed and Camel Blues as his tongue greets yours hungrily. You both kiss sloppily, soaking up this moment. After all these years, both of you finally getting what you want.
Clothes are torn off. No more hesitation as you both paw at each other, kissing and biting, the eagerness apparent from both of you. Moans and the sound of messy kisses fill the room.
"Fuck me." you plead with him as your bodies grind together, skin on skin, so close together.
"We need a new pact." he pants breathlessly, lining himself up.
"Mhmm." you moan, feeling his tip start to stretch you out.
"The new pact is that You're mine." he moans as he thrusts himself in, entering you fully, a filthy cry raining from your lips.
"I'm yours." you whimper, your fingernails digging into his back as he begins to pump in and out of you.
"We have to seal it, sweetheart." he mumbles drunkenly, picking up his pace. His size is unlike anything you've had before, your legs already shaking slightly, a tinge of pain mixed with the beautiful pleasure.
"What do you- oh!" you gasp as his teeth sink into your bottom lip just hard enough to break the skin. You feel the trickle of warm liquid dribble down your chin.
"Shit." you breathe out before returning the favor, taking Eddie's plump lip between your teeth and tugging roughly making him growl as he slams his cock into you.
"Goddamn, baby.” he groans, kissing your lips, gliding his tongue inside. A metallic taste fills your mouth as your tongues swirl together wildly, your blood mixing together in your kiss.
"Call me baby again." you whimper, rolling your hips, grinding on his big cock. He feels so fucking good.
Eddie chuckles bringing his lips to your ear as he fucks you powerfully. His cock glides in and out of your slickness, the sounds loud in the quiet of the woods.
"You like being my baby?" he murmurs in your ear.
"Yes!”
"You feel so fucking good.. so fucking good." he praises, entering you deeply with every snap of his hips. Your head falls to the wooden floor as your back begins to arch.
"There we go, sweetheart." Eddie hums approvingly as your thighs begin to tremble.
He keeps himself buried deep, rolling into you, his thick cock filling you to the brim. He thrusts into you precisely, finding your sweet spot making your toes curl.
"Eddie! R-right there!" you whine, the pleasure of someone fucking you right for the first time was unlike anything you'd felt before. You didn't know sex could feel this good.
"Gonna take care of you, sweetheart.. I got you." Eddie reassures, keeping his pace, in and out, in and out.
His lips lock onto your neck sucking harshly. You grip the back of his head, holding him to you, the feeling of his lips sucking your skin felt delicious. His fingers meet your clit, quickly rubbing circles on the sensitive nub, making your eyes roll.
"Please don't stop... I think.. I think I'm gonna..”
"Cum for me, beautiful.” Eddie demands in your ear, sending you over the edge. You pull his hair roughly as your body jolts upward, your pussy clenching around him, spasm after spasm as you flood his cock.
"E-Eddie! Ohh my god.. f-fuck!" you practically scream, Eddie loving every second of you writhing beneath him. Watching as you make a mess of his cock. You can feel your cum coating your thighs as he continues to pound into you.
His hands tangle in your hair as his lips meet yours feverishly. Your entire body is overwhelmed as you cling to him, it's almost too much but you don't want it to end. He lifts your leg onto his shoulder, the new angle making you gasp.
"You're so fucking hot." Eddie moans, the sounds coming from him are everything you imagined they'd be. Even better.
"We're gonna cum together." Eddie orders as he leans down, taking your leg with him, his hard cock somehow reaching deeper.
"Together.” you whimper, feeling him stretch you out again and again. He speeds up, slamming into you wildly, your legs shake as you grasp for him, wanting him to be as close as possible. He leans down even more, you feel the strain of your leg muscles as he bends you in ways unknown to you before.
He sinks his teeth into your neck making your eyes roll to the back of your head as your nails claw at his back, sending red streaks across his tattoos.
"Gonna cum…. wanna cum inside you.." he mumbles, his hips moving at an insane pace.
"Cum inside me, baby." you moan, completely losing all sense of anything but him as he fucks you senseless. A few more hard thrusts and you feel his cock twitch, his warm cum spilling into you as he moans your name.
"Fucking Christ." he laughs breathlessly as he collapses on top of you. Both of you lay there silently, your chests rising and falling rapidly as you come down from your high. You run your fingers through his curls as he rests his head on your chest.
After a few minutes you hear the crunching of leaves below you causing you both to sit up suddenly.
"Edward!" Wayne's voice calls from below.
"Shit."
"Come down here and eat your damn dinner.. 20 years old and still playing in a damn treehouse." Wayne mumbles as you hear his footsteps heading back through the woods.
You both look at each other and burst out laughing.
"Dinner, m'lady?" Eddie smirks, rounding up your clothes.
"Dinner sounds perfect.” you smile at him, feeling happier than you’ve ever felt.
