i’ve decided that writing is hard
#i want nothing more than to write beautiful poetic prose#but unfortunately#i have been cursed with a YA voice#like you know those coming of age novels where the protag is a sarcastic asshole teenager who tries way too hard to be witty?#yea that’s what my writing sounds like#which works fine most of the time bc i do write those kinds of characters a lot#but it sucks when i’m trying to write something actually serious!!! like hhhhhhhhh#i’ve been sat down for hours trying to get this mb thing going & i literally have a single four sentence paragraph like#bruh#n e way i’m taking a break & going to the store bc i need bread#rainyrambles
