Artist's recreation of what unsuspecting passersby must've witnessed in Regents Park yesterday
You've heard of girl dinner, now get ready for cryptid lunch
#fms#cryptid#girl dinner#cryptidcore#nonbinary#trans#transmasc#da me#the plan was 'get takeaway pizza to eat in park somewhere far from people who could see the bandages while mask removed#then kill time until ur last minute rescheduled to later in the afternoon stitch-removal appointment#cause you couldn't change your train ticket that ended up being like 3h too early'#but it started raining when I left the pizza place (despite forecast saying no rain >:c)#and all the benches were drenched by the time I got to the park smh u.u#so instead I squatted under some trees and behind my umbrella (for extra coverage) while being ominously circled by pigeons#edit: ... my brain just processed that 'tuesday' was only yesterday wtf is time omg

Hiii! Can you write a headcanon or scenario (whichever you're more comfortable with) of how Katsuki, Hawks and Todoroki would comfort their s/o, who is terrified of loud noises, during a thunderstorm. I'm not sure of how many characters you do per request, but if you only do 1 can you choose Katsuki š
Thank you~
Bakugou, Hawks, and Todoroki Comforting Their S/O During a Thunderstorm
first request!!! i hope you like it ā” i did bullet points because i intended to do headcanons to start off simple, but theyāre sort of scenario-ish? i think i might turn these into full blown scenarios one day so look out for that ;)
Bakugou Katsuki
Itās the first time youāre staying over at his place and thereās a storm raging outside. What had originally began as a light patter of rain had now turned into a downpour, and things seemed to be taking a turn for the worst as you caught sight of a lightning flash outside. You were bracing yourself for the loud thunder that usually accompanied it.
Somehow you had convinced Katsuki to make a blanket fort with you, taunting him that he probably sucked at it, and of course he had taken the challenge, so now you had an awesome blanket fort to cozy up in.
While youāre getting all comfortable among the blankets and pillows, thinking about what movie the two of should watch, Katsuki was in the kitchen getting snacks.
A sudden crack of thunder caused you to yelp and burrow down into the blankets, and he peeked his head out of the kitchen to see why you had made that noise.
ā(Y/N)? Whatās wrong? Donāt tell me you knocked down the fort again, I fucking swear to God.ā Oops, yeah, you had knocked it down a few times before, but of course he always rebuilt it for you. ā”ā”ā”
But when you didnāt immediately reply this time, he grew pretty concerned. He pretended to be annoyed that he had to leave the kitchen to come check on you, but secretly he was also really worried, especially once he heard your quiet whimpers the closer he got to the fort.
Cautiously, Katsuki moved one of the blankets that was in his way since it was functioning as the āentranceā to the fort (half expecting you to jump out and surprise himāhe had learned after the first time you could not be trusted to not try to prank him), and looked inside, confused by the shaking pile of blankets that had small sobs coming from it.
Eventually he would manage to coax you out enough to tell him what was wrong and once you told him, he would try to play it off as a little silly (after all, heās used to loud noises from the explosions heās constantly making so it doesnāt seem as big a deal to him), but you could tell he didnāt really mean itāhe just didnāt want to give in so easily to your demands for cuddles.
Just use your puppy eyes on him and his arms will be wrapped around you within seconds, although heāll be grumbling about how stupid this is and how he canāt believe you made him abandon getting the snacks just for this (all while still pulling you closer to him because he likes your warmth of course).
Somehow heāll force you let go of him enough that he can finish getting the snacks (he struggled very hard to pull your arms off, but of course this man is stubborn and wants his snacks so you have to agree to this one thing for now), and tells you just to wait for him and stop being so pouty because heās coming back in literally five minutes (of course the pout is cute to him but like... he canāt let you know that).
When he comes back, you instantly tackle him back into a hug, and you guys stay that way for the rest of the night. He lets you choose the movie, even if itās some romantic thing he couldnāt care less about, and makes sure itās something thatāll cheer you up (so probably no horror because as much as he likes when you get scared during them and cling to him, youāre already doing that right now so no need to scare you more).
Heāll pile up more blankets because theyāll muffle the sound of thunder (he says heās just improving his fort and itās totally not for your benefit or anything) and turn up the volume for the movie to drown out most of the noise.
Heāll let you bury you face in his chest if you want and playfully cover your ears sometimes to tease you and ask if that helps.
Thunderstorms with Katsuki would involve him allowing lots of physical contact (way more than usual) if thatās what comforts you, him trying to distract you because heās not too good with offering soothing words so he hopes his actions help, and him grumbling a lot about the whole thing, although youāre used to his attitude since you love him so much, so itās actually pretty endearing because you can tell heās really trying.
Plus of course you feel really safe in his arms, especially when he says that if the thunder was a person heād totally beat their ass for you.
Takami Keigo (Hawks)
āHey, um, sorry to bother you, but could you come over?ā You had called your boyfriend while you were buried under the sheets in your bed, too scared to move and trembling as you waited for the next spine-chilling crack of thunder to erupt.
āDidnāt know you missed me that much, babe.~ā You could practically hear Keigo suggestively wiggling his eyebrows over the phone as he purred that.
āDonāt get ahead of yourself,ā you replied exasperatedly, used to his flirting, but unable to keep a playful smile from tugging at your lips, āyou know-ā You didnāt get to finish your sentence before the sound of thunder filled your ears and you yelped, shrieking into the phone and dropping it out of surprise.
You could hear Keigoās muffled voice asking if you were okay and you used that to help you find your phone, fumbling around in the sheets where it had gotten lost.
You eventually found it and pressed it back to your ear, wanting to hear his reassuring voice to calm yourself down.
After explaining what had happened, a slight tremor still in your voice, Keigo would immediately agree to come over.
You felt bad about making him go out in the rain just for your benefit but he assured you it was fine because it wasnāt that far, plus it was a āheroās jobā as he put it.
Keigo suggested you stay on the phone with him so he could talk to you to try and help until he got there.
You waited anxiously for him, but it helped a little bit to focus on talking to him on the phone.
When he arrived, he let himself in, since you had given each other keys to your houses so both of you could stop by whenever one of you wanted, and found a shivering pile of blankets on your bed. When he called out for you and you peeked your head over your blanket, he couldnāt help but smile because you looked so cute like that.
Since you guys stay the night with each sometimes, you also had overnight clothes and other things at each otherās place, so he grabbed a pair of comfy pajamas he had left in your room and quickly changed into them so he didnāt get your bed dirty with the clothes he had just been outside with, and climbed into bed next to you, immediately engulfing you in his arms despite your protests.
Cue snuggle fest. ā”
Expect to spend the rest of the night under the covers with him and him refusing to let you go because he wants to protect you. Heāll talk to you throughout the night about any random thing you want, making lighthearted jokes here and there, and pull you closer when he hears the thunder before you can even ask him to, peppering your face with kisses constantly.
Keigo would be down to come over whenever you wanted him to and if the weather forecast that day predicted thunderstorms, expect him to show up at your door ready to spend the night, or even come home to him already on your couch, having let himself in yet again.
We all know how much he loves to have free time from his hero duties so you donāt have to worry about him being too busy to come over, and in fact youāll probably have to convince him youāll be fine and that the light rain the news predicted wouldnāt scare you too much (he doesnāt care and will insist he wants to spend time with his baby no matter what though ā”).
Todoroki Shouto
You and Shouto had planned to hang out together today and you invited him over to spend the night. The rain had been light that afternoon, so when he showed up at your door, his hair was lightly dripping with water as he gave you a small, sweet smile, and an umbrella was at his side. He honestly looked really cute like that.
You quickly encouraged him to go take a shower and change into warm clothes so he wouldnāt get sick and he thanked you as he headed off to do just that.
While he was gone, you called up a nearby pizza place to order so you guys would have something to eat since you had a whole bunch of plans for the evening and the jam packed schedule left no time for you guys to waste cooking.
After you did that, you just lounged around waiting for Shouto to come back.
Except the rain started getting harder and you were getting pretty worried.
You went to the window to watch the lightning even though you know there would likely be thunder as well that would scare you, but you just couldnāt seem to tear yourself away from watching the rain pouring down outside. It was like you were torturing yourself, but also you wanted to watch for some strange reason.
Shouto eventually finished up with his shower and got dressed in the clothes he had brought with him in his overnight bag. He walked out of the bathroom with a small towel slung around his shoulders and his hair still a slightly damp with little water droplets on it just as before, except this time it wasnāt the freezing cold rain that was to blame for it. He called out to you, but you didnāt answer, so he walked out into the living room to see if you were busy doing something and just didnāt hear him.
Shouto instantly noticed you nervously peeking out of the window and came up behind you.
ā(Y/N)?ā He placed a hand on your shoulder to get your attention, but when you jumped out of surprise at his touch, he immediately took his hand away and began apologizing.
You turned around to see who it was and couldnāt help but laugh at his apologetic expression. You told him it was fine with a smile, just that you had gotten a little startled when he accidentally snuck up on you, and when he asked why you had been so on edge, your expression fell a little and you looked down, too embarrassed to look him in the eye.
He gently caressed your face and carefully brought it back up so he could look at you, assuring you that it would be fine no matter what the problem was.
When you told him the reason you were so scared, he smiled, glad it wasnāt anything too serious, and told you that it was nothing to be ashamed of as he led you over to the couch so you guys could cuddle together. Whenever the thunder sounded outside, he would press a kiss to the top of your head or to your forehead and stroke your hair, asking if you were okay.
If he saw you keep glancing over at the window, he would get up and close the blinds so you wouldnāt have to worry about what was going on outside. Plus, you guys had a bunch of games and movies you wanted to get through as part of your sleepover, so he distracted you with those activities, giving you soft smiles and comforting you whenever you needed. He didnāt mind if you wanted to snuggle closer to him or hold his hand, and would rub soothing circles on your back if you were hugging or on the back of your hand if your hands were just resting on top of each other. He would even use his quirk to adjust his body temperature just how you like it.
Definitely expect sleepovers with him to become more common because it was so nice spending time with you just doing mundane, fun things to pass the time, plus you were so cute like this and he loved the feeling of protecting you. Lots of skinship and soft touches as he tries to constantly soothe you and let you know that he was there for you. He would try his best to make sure that one part of each of you was always touching throughout the evening for comfort, even if one of you was just leaning your head on the otherās shoulder, or even just him having his arm around your shoulders as you watched something on T.V. together.
He was getting so attuned to the thunder sounds so that he could be more aware of when he needed to comfort you, since usually he just tried to tune that sort of thing out because it didnāt bother him, that when your doorbell rang and the pizza guy announced his arrival, Shouto actually jumped a little in his seat out of surprise. You giggled at that and he couldnāt head but smile at the sight as he bashfully admitted that maybe he got a little spooked by something so simple. His heart swelled at the sight of seeing you so happy, since you had been trembling in fear just moments before, and he felt warm all over. Even as he volunteered to go get the pizza, and opened the door to take it and pay, he couldnāt stop smiling and felt like he couldnāt get back to you soon enough so you guys could sit down and eat together and go back to talking and playing around.

2017-07(July)-28āThursday into Friday morning.
2017-07(July)-28āThursday into Friday morning.
In HELL.
All night, dear Sam & dear Max wanted to go outside for even more dog ablutions than they've already done beforehand, and many times I had to say NO and not do it because it was raining, and raining hard.
If the dogs get wet there is NO WAY I have that I can dry them or else they will become even more vicious as I try to towel them dry.
Last night, strange vehicles prowling about.... - Then later at night a pizza delivery car went to the picketted corner house and did strange shit on the road. It first did endless maneuvering on the road, back and forth until it was actually sideways on the road with it's healights shining onto the front door of the place. They would asume that the place looks utterly abandoned and derelict, and is a ripe spot to be assaulted and robbe at of course.
It also did that so it's headlights would shine upon the house number attached to the fence by the front gate that's nearly always closed, or is made to appear closed (whilst the driveway gate is left WIDE OPEN, and of curse the HUGE smashed hole in the side fence could just about let a damned small car through it), and the pizza delivery guy I expect delivered a pizza or whatever.
Obviously the only food they choose to live by and the kids live on with their fast-food from the corner shop making up the balance. Is it no wonder they're getting fat....fat just like all the abo criminals they hang around with? And having the mentaility (no mentality, just enough to be violent and crimnal) of them to match.
Max got upset by all that outside in the street at night and it lasted all night.
Drar Max got SO BAD, that when he DEMANDED to be let outiside, I could never be certain if he needed to perform dog ablutions, or he just wanted to shove his nose around and see what was causing all the noises and stuff outside. (it was both every time).
I had to let Sam & Max outside seperately, and they BOTH became vicious and were vicious and growling when they went outside AND when they came back inside.
And of course it fucking well rained EVERY TIME I had to let them outside because they were dawdling about outside.
And dear Max became VERY vicous, and was baring his teeth and just on the absolute verge of attacking me and causing me severe injuries, just as he has done before.
---------------------------------------------
They were let outside even as late as 2am on Monday.
And of course I had to try to time it to avoid any rain and then to be wet and even more vicious at me.
Sam got vicious, Max hears Sam get vicious and gets MORE vicious, Sam hears Max become MORE vicious and he become MORE VICIOUS...endless fucking circle......and if it's not Sam growling first, it's Max, or them both. Growling is just a prelude to attacking.
Why do you thik the dogs are like this? - They were VERY gentle dogs, but that was before dear Fliss (Felicity Ann Carthew) abandoned all of us and left me to do EVERYTHING, and I do mean EVERYTHING. Things that no single person can cope with but I'm expected to do them ALL, ALONE. And I'm not supposed to say a word!?
---------------------------------------------
I have (and still are) in a LOT of pain.
One minor consolation, as small as it is, is that at least I have a vehicle that works and works well. IT's a LOT smaller than the old vehicle I have and has become decrepit. I had to load things from the old car into the new car (sun screens, shopping boxes, etc)...and of course it fucking well rained upon me and made me wet. -- I waited for awhile for it to pass and it did. Then I went back to doing more of all that and....it fucking well rained down AGAIN. - Every time I try to do anything, it rains and I get wet. And these are things that MUST be done, I don't get any choice in any matters.
I don't get any choice in anything anymore. And if I dare to try, I suffer for it.
Trying to do things in the kitchen at night and my blood was getting over everything no matter how much I tried to stop it.
---------------------------------------------
I had to get up this morning because dear Sam and dear Max needed to go outside for ablutions. And they needed to be fed also their daily dry dog food.
At around or a litle after 9am, there were loud voices outside.
Down at the aboriginal CRIMINAL HOUSEHOLD (the main one), there were anonynous strange cars going to and fro and fro and to, and that's where the loud voices were coming from. (and the abo' NEVER speak quietly)
Bloated-up on pizzas and junk food, the inhabitants of the rental picket fenced corner house are noweher to be seen (yet). But they have long adopted all the shitty living that the criminal abo's two houses away have done. The kids no longer go to school unless on very rare ocassions, and they roam the streets and go into and out of all the abo houses all day. - The SAME shit the criminal abo's do. And they've taken to it all and live their lives by it now. They haven't put any of their council rubbish bins out for 2 weeks now. It's as if the house is deserted. - The abo's go into it day and night (through the huge mashed hole in the fence) and through the big driveway gates that are always left wide open. At night there's strange heavy and loud bangings and thumpings coming for there that are heard by everyone. And that also inlcuded lots of LOUD RUNNING ABOUT ON THE WOODEN FLOORS INSIDE THE HOUSE. The loud shoutings have decreased. And the visibility of any adults in that household out and about in the yard or anywhere has completely gone. Are they all illegally drugged up and drunk? Or are they simply dead..or murdered. - The coming weekend will of course change all sorts of things, make some things worse, cover up other things, and initiate further things.
ANOTHER strange small vehicle pulled up on the street near the abo CRIMINAL HOUSEHOLD and just lurked there for awhile on the street. Who the fuck knows why or cares. It's all the same in this hellish shithole that the abo's have made it.
It won't be long now today as I type this part when the abo's will start their endless wanderings about on the streets, and frequenting and holing up in other abo houses all day that they dont 'live' at.
---------------------------------------------
The weekend is coming. Today (in the afternoon/evening) is forecast (venerated vain crystal ball weather department chantings) that the wether is going to get worse. It's the opposite of summer where it NEVER rains for many many many months despite the weather department vainly assuring that there will be some rain.
---------------------------------------------
Yesterday I saw workmen in two seperate locations at/in telecom pits attending to the commuications lines.
No doubt trying to cover-up and head off more criticisms by a huge amount of people who have no telephone or internet access because of the damned huge fuckups they keep doing to the phonelines, pits, telephone exchanges and on and on. It's been going on into the THIRD YEAR straight in this hellhole area.
---------------------------------------------
I've noticed that the postal service, a man on a motorbike, gives preferential service to some houses. Some he waits outside and LOULDY beeps his horn at until a resident goes to him. Other times he actually rides right INTO a residents yard and madly beeps his motorcycle horn. Both instances result in mail being HAND-DELIVERED to the resident. (this goes on all about the streets around here the closer it gets anywhere near to where the criminal abo's and criminals 'live') - Probably no doubt to assure the resident that their mail has arrived and is ready to be taken safely inside their domecile and not have criminals and criminal abo's wantonly stealing any and all mail from their letter boxes (again a situation that has been going for YEARS).
In the NEWS, there's insipid, pathetic 'good news' stories all throughout about how good everything is being done and working out nicely, changing and helping lives for the better for aborigines in Australia and Western Australia. - NONE OF THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE CRIMINALS AND ABORIGINAL CRIMINALS IN THS HELLHOLE. Don't you ever be suckered into believing it does.
And I'm still waiting for ANOTHER letter in my letterbox to appear. It is adressed to my residence. It is from POLICE and is a DEMAND for fines to be paid. I've truly lost count of the number of times I've got these fucking letters. - I have visited POLICE, but they dont' know why. I've long since had to write VERY vehement outrage upon the letters and re-post them back to the Police. I've lost count of the number of times I've done that and STILL the damned things keep comong back. And there have been times when the West Australian Police have personally called here to find out why.
Guess who abounds in the streets? - Aboriginal criminals, and asociated criminals. They of course don't live here but constantly roam about here and 'visit' the criinal abo's and other criminals. They live like this. I can't wait until they're all dead. Complete shitheads the lot of them that are a drain and stress upon innocent people everywhere.
---------------------------------------------
11pm....false calm. Going to pst this up and then try to have something to eat, then lay down to alleviate agony. - It's also very cold in this hovel. And it's been raining on and off all the time I've been typing all this.
---------------------------------------------
P@11:02am--Thursday, 38-July, 2017. - I love you dear Fliss, Felicity Ann Carthew, and want to be with you. - Dear Sam & dear Max are dry and are currently snoozing and VERY stressed. -- I'd like to say to Cath Allen of Queensland, Australia, that I really miss you and our communicating. I've tried so many times to communicate with you but you believe all the lies you hear and are told by others and have shut me out despite us previously having a very amiable communications across Australia. I have had NO WORD AT ALL from dear Fliss for coming up to 2 years now. And I have no idea if you have had any communcations or lies given to you by her or her 'agents' either. I am sorry for your turmoils, strife, and stresses in your life and I wish I could help. But I am in HELL and condemned. -- P.

day 19:Ā hejĀ hejĀ KĆøbenhavn
(bye copenhagen)
Today is our last day here in Copenhagen. Itās really bittersweet.
As much as I want to come home to America, Iām very sad. This trip has been one of the best opportunities that I have endured so far, and Iām so thankful to have met the people I did and see everything I saw.Ā
Today, I woke up and started to pack a little! We have a room check by our RAās to make sure our room is clean and nothing is broken.
I submitted my final reflection paper and my presentational photo series and text. Class is done! I really enjoyed this class and think it was such a great experience for me too. My camera really helped me see more things in this country, and I jumped out of my comfort zone using it. Thanks, Laerke, for teaching me how to do more than just hold and point a camera!
Around noon, a group of us decided to climb The Church of Our Saviour tower, which is a super tall church with winding staircase. It was one of the best views I have seen! I also loved seeing the whole city on our last day. Definitely worth the stair climbing.
Then, we walked around a bit, despite the heavy winds. The forecast showed rain but there was never any rain!Ā
I decided to get a pizza near our building for dinner, which is actually the same pizza our R.A, Anders, got us when we all first arrive the first day. I remember it being so so good. I got a chicken and arugula pizza, which cost 61 kroners. It was a pretty small shop, so their machine didnāt accept anything but Danish cards. Since this was my last day, I only had 50 kroners left in my purse, and the man ended up saying that was enough. It must have been because I was American, or because I looked lost. Either way, I love the Danish people.Ā
We got back and chilled, and everyone was cleaning and packing. How sad. A couple of us decided to walk around Nyhavn ONE last time, and of course stop and get ice-cream at Wafflebageren. The ice cream was amazing tonight. I ended up getting one scoop of Oreo, of course, and the Oreo tasted so creamy and good. I also got one scoop of Daim, which is a Danish candy (I think), with chocolate and caramel in vanilla ice-cream. The choc chunks were huge, so another great choice. The best part was the waffle cone, hands down.
It was so cute walking down this street at night, people were still at dinner, and I just loved seeing this area. Iām sure going to miss this place.
We returned home, and everyone was celebrating. It was a fun time, and my mind is still blown with the amount of new friends I now have, in 3 short weeks. The people I met on my trip have made this experience so fun and amazing. They always were down for wine, ice cream, and new adventures in the Cope. Thanks 4th floor Amagerbro, for all your friendship and love!!Ā
Friday: USA!Ā
A group of us wake up to make it to the airport for our flights that are at noon. Itās a struggle walking to the metro with huge suitcases, but we all made it with plenty of time. We said our goodbyes, and went our separate ways. I somehow found my way to my gate, and waited for my plane to board. It hasnāt hit me yet that Iām leaving. Iāll say it again, I have had such a wonderful opportunity coming to Europe, Denmark, and even more specifically, Copenhagen. I fit so well into this culture and city, and canāt imagine my first trip alone and abroad anywhere else.Ā
10/10 would recommend visiting Copenhagen, Denmark for at LEAST one week to fully understand the culture of the Danes. Itās such a cool and different city, with bikes and coffee shops everywhere you go. Itās also very underrated in my opinion, but also I like it that way :)
Side note: SAS Airlines serves some awesome airplane food and has a great movie selection!!
This is the end of my blogging (until next time I travel!!) I appreciate all your reads and support, Iām very very thankful to have been able to write and share my experiences with y'all. Thanks for following me along this journey :)
Tak,Ā
Miranda
