#oc#isaiah#melanie#elias#i was talking in the discord about how isaiah looks sooo much like melanie in his 20s#but in his 30s when he starts getting leaner and the testosterone really settles his features he looks more like elias#melanie and elias are both under 5’3 he comes from tiny stock#his greasy hair texture is actually identical to elias!#so when he’s little his hair sits like that always#but when he starts rlly taking care of it it’s more like melanie’s springy curls (she keeps it up)#elias would probably have pretty hair if he took care of himself#he actually dies a few years before isaiah has the realization that he looks like his dad#i like to think he was really pissed and slammed the bathroom door and scowled at the mirror and it’s like his dad JUMPED OUT AT HIM#there’s like a melancholic feeling to it. that feeling you get when a bad parent dies and you know there won’t ever be resolution#but it lends itself somewhat to reparenting himself? in a weird way?#and he meets sawyer around then! melanie’s older sister!
