absolutely insane how one of the only examples of “weight gain as positive character development” ive seen in childrens media especially is in fucking warrior cats
#when ravenpaw is first seen in fire and ice it’s immediately pointed out that he’s ‘’plump’’ and looks more polished and alive#compared to how he’s skinny anxious and isolated in thunderclan#i like ravenpaw tbh i really like what they do with him.#its telling how he literally misses no one in thunderclan except fireheart and graystripe. ik they dont have parents in this arc#but wow he makes no mention of family or anything and it could just be flunky writing#but it goes to show how deeply he was isolated by tigerclaw and how no one liked him there#and hes immediately doing better in a new environment where hes not abused#but hes not over it immediately he gets anxious when tigerclaw is mentioned and hes clearly got healing to do#echoed voice
