Not a Dune book purist disappointed by the changes, not tearing my hair off with excitement for Part Two, but a secret third thing (I think it just was not weird enough)

#feels like I’m the only one?#when they let this dune movie *be dune* it’s excellent! I love talking embryo alia! I love jessica and the bene gesserit scheming!#and what they did with chani and the ending is great #but it gets drowned in countless action scenes and comic reliefs - like any other scifi/fantasy flick out there #it almost feels like they where pandering with criticism of the first movie - as if they where afraid of being 'boring' again #part one was so grave so slow it took itself so seriously - and that's why I love it so much #dune #dune part two #cinema #messaggi in bottiglia #recensioni
