i think the problem w madoka discourse is it will go on forever due to constantly involving ppl who have never interacted w madoka
#ive gone back and forth on it story/writing wise thru the years#not aesthetically bcuz aesthetically it always fucked#but it always comes up irt convos abt oh its not deconstruction just contempt and idk if i agree#i also think ppl act like its waaaaay darker than other magical girl shows when like brother have u ever watched a magical girl show#anyway#at least it didnt wonder egg on us#im also more familiar w gen urobochis other work now too which obv will affect my onions
