Yo~ I Fell in love with the three little spiders too, so I got some questions, first one, are Kai and Chrollo sons on the same universe? Second one, I'll take one of your examples ❤ does Chrollo sons know that y/n is not their real mom? And last one, isn't Kai bothered about the fact that Feitan ""tortures""" his loved mom? Sorry if there are a lot of questions, I really loved this 3 little characters you created

The Three Little Spider Headcanons

Ooooo more questions! I’m so glad people are loving the three little spiders. Maybe I should make some small oneshots of them more or even add another spider to the mix. Hmmmmm.... 🕷

Also, if anyone is reading this through tags and isn’t familiar with my tumblr. These Headcanons are based off of “Family” a chrollo x reader fanfic (where the reader had adopted Chrollo’s twin boys when they were babies) and “The Spiders’ Way” a feitan x single mother reader. Check out my Masterlist for a better description on each if curious :).

Question 1: Are Kai and Chrollo’s Sons in the same universe?

At first when I wrote them and when I did this I didn’t make them in the same universe. But, when you brought it up and the more I thought about it, it actually make sense for them to be.

Though, it also doesn’t matter that much of they are in the same universe because Kai and the twins don’t actually interact as much. This is mostly due to Kai’s personality and their age differences (Kai is 11 while the twins are 5).

Kai actually doesn’t have any friends and has no interests in getting to know people other than his mother. So, he wouldn’t try to interact with the twins. But if his mother or Feitan ask him to babysit or train with the twins, he wouldn’t argue.

Though if, lets say, their mothers got kidnapped or someone hurt their mothers. Then they would the greatest team on the planet.

Question 2: Do the Twins know that the (y/n) is not their real mom?

Actually, they surprisingly do know.

Even though you got cut off by your parents and sister, your grandmother Holly and grandfather John are still in your life. They just aren’t financially well off so they couldn’t have you stay with them since it meant 3 extra mouths to feed but they did try to babysit and save up for small gifts for the twins. Kai’s favorite scarf is actually a gift from grandma Holly.

Your big secret about the boys actually got revealed at one of these babysits, while you were at work. It was due to the fact your mother had come to stopped by on that day because she was unhappy that your grandparents had only given 100 dollars for Melissa’s Christmas present. This is where she met the twins again for the first time in 4 years.

Through pictures around great-grandmother Holly’s house the twins recongnized your mother as their grandmother and actually ran over to give her a hug. They had been bothering you for months to meet their grandmother and grandfather.

The thing is, your mother ain’t that great, and actually kicked Kao away when he latched onto her leg. This hurt the boys but they still wanted to persist and kept on asking “Grandma. We want hugs!” And “Please Grandma.”

Your mother didn’t care however and further hurt their feelings by telling them the truth and showing the twins a receipt from when they were selling them to Meteor City. The twins were only 4 so they can’t read but the physical proof of the paper still devastated them.

Thankfully, Great-Grandma Holly came to the twins rescue and chased the rotten witch out of her house before she hurt them more. This didn’t solve the damage already done however and the twins actually ended up climbing a large pine tree in order to be alone.

It took a lot of talking and coaxing from your grandmother and you, after you rushed their from hearing what happened. But, after 3 hours, the twins eventually came down safetly and you rushed into hug them.

You explained to them how it didn’t matter if they were blood related to you or not since they would forever still be your boys.

The boys ended up crying again, thankfully this time in happiness. Though, just in case and because you felt bad, you tried to make it up to them later by getting them Wackdonalds.

This is also why they you are so over the moon in happiness about you having a baby with their birth father. To them, this baby isn’t a half sibling, it’s their full blood sibling that also fully solidifies the fact they are your sons. Not your sister’s.

Question 3: Isn’t Kai bothered about the fact Feitan “tortures” his loved mom?

Yes, he would be if he ever saw it or found out. Kai’s mother (you) was raped at a party and got pregnant with him. He knows that’s how he was made and is a part of why he is extremely protective of his mom when it comes to love and sex. He just doesn’t want to see his mom get hurt in that way ever again.

Also, Kai is 11 years old so he has also already gotten the talk and is technically almost a preteen boy. So, he’s not dense if he sees Feitan does anything fishy or try anything. Though, Feitan is generally respectful and won’t try to pull anything in front of Kai. Their are times Feitan does things in front of the boy. However he uses his incredibly fast speed (like a small pat on the butt) or it’s a small thing (like a kiss on the cheek) so Kai doesn’t notice or it’s not something causes his warning bells to go off.

Though, Kai’s mother previous boyfriends weren’t as respectful as Feitan. Even if you begged them to knock it off in front of your son they wouldn’t. So, Kai dealt with them quickly.

Kai actually likes Feitan compared to the other boyfriends too and finds him to be an good match with his mother. Mostly due to the fact, he knows Feitan is just like him, a bit crazy. Though that doesn’t mean if Feitan pulls anything huge in front of him or yells at his mom, that Kai will let it go. Kai will make Feitan pay if he has to.
