A/N: For the @ichiruki-auzine! I thought it’d be fun to do a Troy AU (ish) for Ichiruki, with Ichigo as Paris and Rukia as Athena.
Holding up a golden apple, Ichigo admired how the sunlight caught on it, the fruit’s smooth skin sparkling like a diamond. All the wealth of his father’s kingdom couldn’t compare to this single fruit, delivered to him by the hands of a god. Even the awe-inspiring beauty of nature, such as the field around him, was no match for this gift.
His fingers brushed against the words carved on it, For the Fairest, and Ichigo frowned. All the strife in his father’s kingdom couldn’t compare to the trouble this apple would cause. The wind blew through the field, ruffling his simple tunic, and he suppressed a shiver. A war could start because of this apple. His kingdom could collapse because of this apple.
A small tremor resounded behind him and Ichigo sighed, lowering his hand. He’d heard that sound three times already today—the sound of a god descending, of an immortal entering the mortal plane. The first had been when Kisuke, the god of mischief, had given him the apple.
His sister liked to tell him that every gift had strings attached, that one should be careful about what they accepted. Presents from the gods were no exception. When Kisuke had given him the apple, he had neglected to mention that three goddesses wanted it. That they would do anything for it.
That he would have to pick one and face the others’ wrath; a goddess’s rage could wipe out an entire country if the mood hit them.
Then again, it wasn’t like he really had much of a choice—it wasn’t like one could refuse a god. The Fates had already decreed that he would take the apple.
All that was left was to see where this path took him.
Two of the goddesses had already visited. Already made their cases, offered him their boons.
“You are Ichigo,” a confident, sharp voice stated behind him.
And now, the final, third goddess had appeared. Maybe he could just give it to the last one and claim it was a luck of the draw thing.
“Yes, and you’re—” Ichigo turned around and cut himself off. There was no one behind him.
“Down here,” the goddess ground out, a slim hand grabbing his vest at the same time and yanking him down.
Ichigo almost fell over, barely keeping his balance as he stared at the pipsqueak before him. The girl barely reached his chest. Piercing black eyes met his, the girl’s expression oddly sharp in contrast to how her black hair curled around her face. “You…”
“I?” she asked, her eyes narrowing.
“Are you lost?” Ichigo asked, glancing around for someone else. “Are your pare—”
Before he could finish the sentence, the girl kneed him in the gut. Ichigo gasped, falling to his knees, his hands clutching his belly. The apple rolled out of his hands, glowing in the grass.
“I am not a child,” the girl growled, eyes flashing like bolts of lightning. The clouds above turned grey and stormy. “I am the goddess Rukia.”
The hair on the back of his neck tingled and he softly swore as he looked up. From this angle, there was no doubt of her power.
“Give me the apple.” Rukia held out her hand. “Now.”
Something about it grated on his nerves. Did he deserve her attack? Probably—he had disrespected a goddess. But to get kneed and extorted at the same time? If he was going to have to reject two goddesses anyways, might as well pick the one who hit him. “No.”
Rukia stared at him owlishly. “What?”
“No,” he repeated, forcing himself to his feet. His stomach ached. “Hell no.”
“You’re going to defy me?” Rukia glared and the clouds grew darker.
Every part of him felt electrified. His knees buckled. Ichigo stubbornly stood his ground, refusing to be cowed. “You’re not getting it.”
“Then I’ll just take it.” Before he could react, she marched to the apple and swiped it.
Or rather, tried to swipe it. Her hand hovered above the fruit, almost touching it, and she grunted as she tried to force it lower. After a few minutes, it was clear she couldn’t pick it up. “Shit.”
Ichigo looked at her, then at the apple. It looked the same as it had minutes ago. He couldn’t see anything stopping her. Slowly, he reached down too. When nothing happened, he picked it up and raised a brow. “Since you’re so close to the ground, shouldn’t this be easier for you?”
“Height has nothing to do with this!” She snapped, glaring at him once more. Her hands curled into a fist and she growled, “You have to give it to me.”
Ichigo snorted. “I don’t have to do anything. Weren’t you just going to steal it?”
“I can’t.” She stamped her foot, sending tremors through the earth. “That bastard Kisuke…the apple can’t be taken. It has to be given.”
Ichigo stared at the apple, then at her. Given meant the power dynamic just shifted. He smirked. “So, how badly do you want it?”
Rukia ground her teeth. “Maybe I’ll just torture—”
“Hey, Yoruichi! Goddess of the Hunt!” Ichigo called out immediately. “I’ll give—”
“Wait!” Rukia tackled him.
His head knocked on the ground, the breath knocked out of him. Despite her height, she was impressively strong. He groaned as he lay there, her small body pinning him in place. “Are you trying to kill me?” he growled.
“Oh believe me, you’ll know when I try,” Rukia retorted, her hands clasping his arms and forcing him to stay down. She leaned forward, her hair brushing his cheeks as she hovered over him. This close, he could make out her long lashes, the soft curve of her jaw. If it weren’t for all of this, he might have thought her attractive. “Look, let’s make a deal. You give me the apple, and I’ll give you something in return.”
“Another gift?” Ichigo snorted, trying and failing to lift his arms. Unfortunately, the strength of a mortal was nothing to that of a god’s, and he settled for glaring at her. “No thanks. That’s what got me into this mess in the first place.”
“What if it’s something you want?” Rukia tried again. “Look, there has to be something you want. Name it. I’ll give it to you.”
“Anything?” A blank ledger. He could ask for anything. Ichigo bit his cheek. Now, that was tempting.
Sensing his interest, Rukia perked up. “Anything,” she repeated. “I could give you a nice house.”
Ichigo laughed. “I’m a prince. Kinda have that covered.”
“Beautiful women?” she tried again.
“Not really hard, since I’m a prince,” he repeated, stressing the last three words.
“Wealth beyond—”
“Are you sure you’re the goddess of wisdom?” Ichigo asked, amused.
Rukia headbutted him. Immediately, she rolled off him, clutching her head, “Fuck, why is your head so hard?”
“Screw you,” he grunted, rubbing his own head.
“A wish,” she ground out, turning slightly to look at him. She still had a hand on her forehead, and there was nothing dignified at all about how she looked, lying on the grass with him. “I’ll give you a wish. You can cash it in whenever you want.”
Ichigo rubbed his forehead one more time. Feeling a bump, he countered. “Make it three.”
“Like, I would—” Rukia cut herself off as she looked at the apple again. She banged her fist on the ground. “Fine. Three. But you can’t wish for immortality or anything like that—I can’t give you things that aren’t in my domain or aren’t obtainable.”
That was fine. Ichigo could barely figure out what he wanted to do in one lifetime, let alone dozens. “Deal.” He sat up and held out his hand. When she looked at him quizzically, he added, “We shake on deals down here.”
“Oh. Right. A contract.” Rukia sat up and ran a hand through her hair, shaking out the loose grass. Ready now, she slipped her hand in his. Despite how rough she seemed, her skin was soft. “With this, we are bound.”
His hand engulfed hers entirely. “My apple for three wishes.”
As they shook, translucent, glowing chains wrapped around their arms. Ichigo gasped, trying to pull away, but her grip was too strong, the chains too tight. Just as quickly as they appeared, they disappeared. Rukia paled, falling forward, and it was all he could do to catch her in his arms.
Something about her felt lesser, smaller. Even her body felt impossibly frail as he held her. She trembled as she clutched him, her hand curling into his chest.
“Are you okay?” He tightened his grip, looking around. There was no one else in the field. “What was that?”
“A god’s vow.” Rukia took a deep breath then pushed herself back. She didn’t leave the circle of his arms as she straightened up, still looking all too fragile. “I…that wasn’t supposed to happen.” She snapped her fingers and when nothing happened, her shoulders slumped. “I can’t…”
“You can’t?” Ichigo asked, not following.
She looked up, locking eyes with him. “Until you make those three wishes, I can’t do anything. I’m stuck here.”
Oh. Ichigo stared at her. Well, that changed everything.

Marty Manning and his Orchestra - The Twilight Zone (Columbia, 1961) - Logo design by Joe Messerli
This is the dimension of imagination...
Well, not really. This is not a soundtrack to the show. It's just a compilation of random music, mostly futuristic jazz of sorts, inspired by the show, though it is an official licensed product (Columbia was owned by CBS at the time, which aired the show).

Chapter 15: "Bloodlines"
The dream isn't done yet, and neither is the exposing of the extent of their bloodlines.

----
Not expecting the cold grass to become hardwood, Legend startled as his surroundings changed. He looked at his new surroundings and covered his mouth, a sob choking his throat.
It was the farmhouse, his grandparents’ farmhouse. There, sitting on the sofa was a woman who looked too much like Dusk, just like how the man—his father, he’d known that the moment he made actual eye contact with him—looked too much like Twlight.
She was holding the infant in a blue blanket, and Legend knew that was him. He knew that blanket, only a month ago it was draped over the back of his desk chair, a few stains and a patch on it, but still in good condition... well worn and well used.
This woman... that was his mother, his actual mother. She was the woman who birthed him, and from the looks of it, she had done so not that long ago. She was paler than even Fable, who spent most of her days indoors.
“You should rest,” Grandma said as she came around with a wooden mug.
His mother shook her head. “He’s so small… Zelda had been bigger than him, though she hasn’t grown that much since.”
“He’ll grow when he’s older, goddesses know his father did,” Grandma gave a warm laugh that contrasted the puffiness and redness of her eyes. “Link grew so fast I never had time to alter his clothes when he was young, I have so many of his old clothes in the attic.”
“You’ll make good use of it, then,” she said quietly.
Grandpa entered the room. “Ya sure about this, Zelda? That boy’s gonna need his Momma.”
“And he’ll have her,” she assured. “But for now, until I can remove Agahnim from Hyrule, he won’t be safe at the castle. That man had my guards under his thumb in mere moments, I must defeat him first, and… And I won’t be ready to do so for some time. Not to mention the already existent stigma for princes… Until then, you must protect him.”
She looked down at the sleeping infant in her arms.
“That cursed wizard told the court my second child will bring about Hyrule’s downfall,” she revealed, “but that is a lie. Every seer I spoke to, every vision of his future I had, was clear—he will save Hyrule, he will be her hero.” She brushed the infant’s face, causing him to squirm slightly. “But until then… he’s just a boy, and even after, he will always be my son.”
“I know,” Grandma whispered. “We will take care of him, he’s our grandson after all. You take care of that usurper, my dear, we’ll be waiting to give this little one back to his mother.”
“Link,” Queen Zelda said, still not looking away from the baby. “His name is Link… isn’t it, my dear kit? You have the spirit of a hero, but that soul is far more sacred.”
Not much more was said until a wolf’s howl could be heard from outside, Queen Zelda sighed as she rose and passed the baby over to Grandma. She hugged her, kissed the baby once more, and hugged Grandpa, bidding goodbyes as she did so before leaving, promising to handle Agahnim and return soon.
“Be safe,” Grandpa told her.
“I will,” she promised. “Oh, I forgot,” she turned back and pulled out a bunny plush the size of the infant, a plush that Legend had tucked away in his bag, a little burnt from the fire that he'd found beneath a roasted chair, “this is his... Zelda picked it out at the markets for him... please, protect him.”
He still had that plush, it survived the fire, it was sitting in his bag--
With that, she opened the door to leave.
Legend tried to chase her, tried to scream, cry out and tell her: "Don’t!" He wanted to tell her that she would fail, that she would die, and leave both him and Zelda orphans.
Legend surged up. He gasped for air. The blankets fell to the floor with a muffled thud as he shoved them off of him. Memories of where he was—an inn, Twilight’s era, Telma’s bar—rushed to him as the scenes of that dream, that vision, dragged him down. Even then, everything around him drowned out, the room itself, his sight of it, any noises, vanished as his heart beat loudly in his chest. His blood roared in his ears, and he tried vainly to fill his lungs with air.
He’d seen his grandparents. He had seen his grandparents who had died in a fire not two weeks ago. More than that, he had seen his parents.
A father he had never seen before today, not even a portrait. Yet he saw the man fighting to his last breath just to protect him. His father who had recognized him despite the son he knew not being alive for more than a day. He met, however briefly, his father who had said he was proud of him. With no knowledge of anything Legend had done, his father took one look at Legend and said he was proud.
Then his mother who he was realizing he had recognized. The way he immediately trusted Dusk, that woman's magical signature felt identical to Dusk's. His mother held him close and promised to return soon. His mother who swore to bring retribution upon the man who caused her husband’s death and put her children in danger. His mother who had just given birth but still rode out to the farmhouse just so she could hold her son... then ride back to the castle and die by Agahnim’s hand.
It went back to Agahnim. It always went back to Agahnim. Everything that went truly wrong in his life went back to that cursed mage. His life had been Agahnim’s fault from the very beginning.
He wanted to sob, he wanted to scream.
Someone grabbed him.
He twisted, fire blazing in his hand as he tried to fight back--and froze.
“Kit, look at me,” his... a man said softly as Legend felt the ground come up to his body too quickly.
Twilight. That was Twilight, his fellow hero. Someone he'd only met a few years ago. It was Twilight, Forest, the Rancher, the Goatherd, their resident country boy and animal lover. It wasn't...
“I am so sorry," Twilight breathed.
He didn't understand. He didn't get it. Why was he sorry? What happened? Did he do something? Did something go wrong?
“We saw it, you couldn’ see us, but we could see you and them,” Twilight told him, one hand cradling his face and the other prying his nails from his palm. “That was yer family, wudinit?”
Legend made a strangled sound trying to speak, “G-Gran—”
“I know,” Twilight whispered. “I know, Kit. It ain’t fair."
Suddenly, all his previous attempts to shove things down, to wait until the quest was over to handle it, they all failed. His weak wall shattered. He threw himself into Forest's arms, seeking some kind of comfort. He needed help. He needed something that didn’t hurt. He needed something that made it stop, that ceased the ripping in his heart. Goddesses please, just make it stop hurting.
They were right there, goddesses above, they had been right there.
His grandparents were right there. Their home, their life, he'd been late by minutes, moments. He had been right there!
How was he a hero? How could he be a hero? How could he save anyone when he always, always failed to save those he loved? How can the goddesses expect him to keep their world safe when he can't even protect his own family?
Wood and straw popped in the fire, flames dancing to some unknown rhythm and song. Flames felt no pain, no loss, no hurt. He watched them dance, watched the rippling shadows they cast against the back of the fireplace, the smoke that trickled up into the chimney, and the ash that stained the mantle. Fire, life as much as death, and right now he didn't know which he wanted it to represent.
They were still at the inn, now taking up the seating area by the warm hearth, and Legend couldn't take his eyes of the flames. Vividly, he could see his grandparents in them; his grandmother releasing that horrid cry she gave when she found her son dead as she was burned alive.
A weight settled beside him, and unsurprisingly Twilight apparently decided not to let him out of his sight since they—because they had seen it too—returned from that awful vision.
Wild appeared too. He offered Legend a mug and he raised a questioning eyebrow.
“Tea,” the champion said, “Miss Telma made it, said it helped with nightmares. Everyone’s getting a cup.”
With the explanation, he accepted the mug and sipped it.
Nobody said a word with the tension as thick as it was, though equally as hard to notice in the first place. Their group wasn't quiet when gathered like this, at least not since the early days of gathering. The only time they were was when Twilight had been deathly injured. It just wasn't how they worked. Legend knew that.
Most were in their own thoughts, others were quietly murmuring or signing to someone else, and Legend wasn't bothering to try and keep up with the rapid movements even if he caught some words and signs just by exposure.
Until Wind decided to break it.
“Hey, Apple?”
Several people tensed, Warriors shot Wind a warning look that cowed the younger hero.
“Yeah?” He ignored the defensiveness from the other heroes.
“I… I wanted to—”
“Sailor,” Wild hissed. Wind pressed on.
“—ask about that… dream… thing.”
“I think it's pretty obvious,” he glared at the smoke-stained mantle. “That was someone’s idea of either a joke or a torture method.”
Twilight and Sky both flinched whilst Warriors grimaced. Noted, they didn't like it when he mentioned torture.
Wind frowned but didn't push.
“Those were my grandparents,” he said in offer of actual explanation. “The older couple, and the house too, or at least, it looked like them. The other two…”
“Looked like the Rancher,” Wild filled in.
“And Zelda,” Twilight added quietly.
Legend didn't respond to that, not for a long minute.
“He was younger than you, Rancher,” he finally said. “And you're alive.”
“We’ve talked about multiple timelines before,” Wind muttered, definitely not intending to be heard by the way he ducked his head when eyes glanced in his direction. “Jus’ sayin’.”
“He's not wrong,” Four agreed. “But we don’t need to know, remember… secrets are our own to keep, even if it's relevant to others.”
“But it is impacting the quest,” Warriors pointed out quietly, which was the one caveat in that agreement.
“Is it that important though?” Sky asked. He cast a wary glance at Legend. Legend finished his drink quickly just to get the burn of the hot liquid down his throat, just for the pain to make him focus. “Clearly it's… sensitive.”
“Captain’s right,” he said, his voice just a bit strained from the roughness in his throat. “It impacted the quest… everyone else ended up sharin’ something at some point, only fair.”
Wild muttered, “Not when you’re breaking down in tears but okay."
Legend shot him a glare and Wild raised his hands in surrender. He sighed and decided to try and explain.
“It's… not as complicated as you think, though I'm not sure how it happened, but…” where was he supposed to start. “There are stories in my era of the Fallen Hero, a young man who helped Queen Zelda the Reclaimer lead the rebellion against the Evil King of Thieves.”
He felt Twilight tense, noticed Wind snap his head up, and saw Time stiffen.
“As the stories go, the Evil King of Thieves was a Gerudo male who killed the Hylian King and plunged Hyrule into ruin. The Hero confronted him after the Seven Years of Darkness, but he failed, the Evil King of Thieves killed him. Queen Zelda took her sages—one from forest, one from fire, one from water, one from shadows, and one from sand—and with their power combined, they managed to seal him in the Sacred Realm.”
“But…” Wind croaked. “That sounds like—That sounds almost like the Hero of Time’s story, the sages and the King of Thieves, the Seven Years of Darkness…”
“I thought so too when I read a book in the Rancher’s era about it, an account of time travel from the Hero of Time.” Legend looked over at Time. “In fact, even the dates lined up perfectly.”
Time paled.
Legend leaned back and let his head hit the back of the sofa. “But apparently, dying didn't stop him from leaving a legacy. My grandpa always said we carried a legacy of knights, that we were descended from the original Knights of Hyrule, and in a way, he was right—but he always referred to Raven when he spoke like that."
"Raven? The man from when we found you?"
"The very same. I found out that Raven's grandfather was none other than the Fallen Hero himself.”
Time snapped his head toward Legend, he saw him do as much from the corner of his eye, but he kept his head directed to the ceiling as he spoke.
“I wanted to ask my grandparents about it. They are--They were my only living relatives... at least, on that side of my family, but clearly that didn't really work.” He would not cry again, thank you. “That doesn't explain the Rancher and why we saw someone who looked like him though, does it?”
“Not exactly,” Warriors admitted. “But I'd guess that that…man we saw was the Rancher, only from your timeline.”
Legend didn't respond, only nodded.
“Wait, if those were your grandparents, and that's the Rancher’s alternate self…” Wild trailed off.
Legend made a startled noise that wasn't a squeak, shut up Traveler. Twilight pulled him into a hug. He tried for a moment to get free because, again, he really needed to not lose his composure in front of everyone, but Twilight just pulled him closer and made an almost wounded noise.
Wild burst into laughter, falling off his stool and continuing to cackle loudly despite his sudden descent.
"That was honestly the best answer we could've gotten,” Warriors said, breathing a sigh of relief.
“What were you expecting?” Sky asked.
“With the Vet these days? Literally anything.”
Legend grabbed his empty wooden mug and threw it at Warriors, nailing him in the head.
“Hey!”
Everyone else broke into laughter and Twilight snorted.
“Good throw, Kit.”
“Oh shut up,” he grumbled, but succumbed to his fate.
Not that he particularly disliked it, there were worse things to be experiencing.
The tension had been cut. Warm laughter and teases echoing through the room until Telma came and told Twilight to herd his ragtag group of kids to bed as it was way too late to be dealing with them, Legend let the rancher in question cling to him.
All he could think as they slowly worked their way upstairs, Hyrule and Warriors teasing one another as bad as Legend would've with the Captain, was that he really hoped he wouldn't lose this family too.

🧠 Pick a character, and I'lI tell you my favorite headcanon for them.
lmao as if this is a challenge
king of 2000s trashy aesthetic. He woke up after memnoch and needed a coping mechanism and that was FASHION baby!! he was all in on the hair feathers, the metallic eyeshadow, the extreme low rise jeans that showed more pubic bone than hip.
speaking of 2000s trends he was so enthused about the edible body shimmer powder trend of the era, like the jessica simpson dessert collection?? he had them all because it's just flavored powder, there's not really anything there for the vampire body to reject. but that also means there's photos of him covered with shimmer dust and now armand and louis roast him for having an edward cullen sparkle vampire phase before twlight even existed.
the king of girl math. "but louis i had $320 of items in my cart and shipping would have been $10, but if you spend $500 then shipping was free. so naturally i had to get the shoes as well, otherwise i would have been losing money. i mean it practically makes them free!"
loves a scented candle, has enough of them that he keeps them in a closet and rotates them out depending on the weather/his mood/the season.
enamored by the modern invention of central heating and air. he grew up in such a damp, cold castle and being as poor as he was probably only had a fire in his room if he chopped his own wood. so now in the winter he keeps the house set at a boiling 80 degrees and takes joy in walking around in his underwear while there's a snow storm outside.
🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.
oh lord i hate thinking about this because immediately the things i do that feel repetitive come to mind lmao like i set most of my fics with the characters at home instead of somewhere more interesting. half the reason i like medical kink is because it forces me to put them in a fresh setting.
i guess i also lean hard into the romantic side of things in most fic, i'm more of a hurt/comfort than a straight up angst person. which i have beat myself up about a little because i worry about being sappy, but also i think that's a fear that needs unpacked. romance isn't taken seriously as a genre of media because it's largely created and consumed by women and telling myself my work isn't as valuable as something more external conflict driven/angsty is letting patriarchy win.

SuyaLight Master Post Part 15
I really like these two there’s not a lot of content for the fandom as a whole soooo here’s my submission as I get every moment of these two royals who literally share a braincell (and I love them for it) First up this is just on the manga if you are anime only its going to have stuff you havent seen, yes even with what the anime covers (so read it) and there will be spoilers so beware. If you prefer Demon Monk/Cleric/Leo (which I don’t really get) I am sorry this isnt for you. Lets go! Part 1 is here Part 2 is here Part 3 is here Part 4 is here Part 5 is here Part 6 is here Part 7 is here Part 8 is here Part 8.5 is here Part 9 is here Part 10 is here Part 11 is here Part 12 is here Part 13 is here Part 14 is here
Because he overused his second form Twilight is now in a childs body and two people are very interested in this
Tumblr media
WHich Twlight is aware of.
Tumblr media
He assumes his dad is disappointed in him, really he just wants to catch up on time lost, and that Suya has some sort of cruel plan, really she just wants to see two cute kids play.
Tumblr media
So Twilight keeps running from the pair
Tumblr media
So this just keeps happening
Tumblr media
In the end Suya gets what she wanted.
Tumblr media
A demon teddy has gone missing and is freaking out as she does, and Twilight does see her point.
Tumblr media
In the end Twilight finds and returns with the Teddy and this is so cute
Tumblr media
Suya joins Twilight in brushing Red.
Tumblr media
A Princess Suya body pillow was illegally released and because it's got her on it she wants it but Twilight fears the reversed side will have a lewd image and doesnt want her or anyone else seeing it even though he's curious. It ends up being nothing but....
Tumblr media
We continue the Suya has weird tastes arc.
Tumblr media
Basically the people who made the Suya pillow made illegal merch for Twilight and Leo and she took it. I don't think she fully understands the implications behind the pillows. (But she does seem to have more Twilight merch) Anyway Leo doesn't like it and subconsciously takes the Twilight merch leaving his. Suya misunderstands the reasoning assuming Leo wanted the Twilight merch for his own use.
Tumblr media
Suya has gone into full work mode and Twilight is the only one brave enough to ask why. Turns out a recently returned Incubus looks exactly like her father which tiggered an emotional response. In Suya's mind as long as she knows her fathers working she should be working.
Tumblr media
While others think this new busy Suya is a good thing as she'll stay out of trouble Twilight isnt so sure.
Tumblr media
As he knows what its like to have a tense relationship with a parent he's worried for her, while everyone else brushes it off.
Tumblr media
His suspicions turn out to be true. And things get weird the issue is resolved when she sees the Incubus is nothing like her father despite looking similar.
Tumblr media
Suya over hears (and misunderstands) a conversation Twilight is having and she vows to protect him because to her the great and powerful demon king is just and innocent boy
Tumblr media
But its really just a sauna (pretty sure she saw him get naked) but Twilight just accepts the tag along
Tumblr media
Really Musician just suggested the sauna twilight wasn't aware of to reduce some stress
Tumblr media
Again she still thinks its dangerous cause she hasn't realized who he was talking to and she doesn't really understand saunas
After the sauna they rest by a pool
Tumblr media
But she still thinks this is some nefarious plot and Twilight is starting to get concerned for her behavior
Tumblr media
Its actually pretty sweet how she's so worried for him she's going against her nature.
Tumblr media
Twilight confesses that he's also been worried about Suya after seeing her in dad guilt induced work mode.
Tumblr media
Twilight goes on a very sweet tangent about how little he understands humans and he has so far to go for his goal and Suya is touched
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Suya realizes it was wrong of her to assume Twilight needed her protection as he is a king/leader in his own right. I dunno this chapter was super sweet.
Tumblr media
I like to think they had a conversation after leaving the spa about her misunderstanding and use it as an inside joke about visiting the sauna.

Note
Not to derail the conversation, but I honestly believe the whole Raya mess was done in bad faith and that Ellis' comments were not as bad as people made them out to be. Xiran Jay Zhao's video series about how Raya is actually bad Asian representation explains this better.
It depends WHAT comments you mean, the problem is the moment she got pushback for indefensible comments, she made defensive comments and then made the whole scandal about those. Which is why it is relevant to her twlight/pocahontas/long record of anti-Indigenous racism and encouraging her fans to harass Indigenous critics, it is a PATTERN of behaviour. Does something no one can defend, gets called out, does something plausible deniable or nuanced, gets alot of attention on that, then accuses anyone who mentions the first thing as overblowing the second. and then apologising and explaining how shes the REAL victim over what happened about the second think to make sure no one can ever bring up, and most will never even remember, the first. It has happened again and again. Her famous raya comments were supposed to not be as bad, because they were the 'cover scandal' to her having been caught out encouraging her fans to harass people over her initial quickly deleted comments that they buried. You messaging this is proof her strategy works. Congratulations. Next time she has a scandal, watch her do it again. She has one trick and has been repeating it for years, since before she had her own channel even.

@kikker-oma I know I have that other fic I need to be working on I promise I am but this suddenly possessed me-
(Tw: blood, choking, late whumptober feels, someone getting stabbed)
(Edit: I feel like it's a bit rough, is it a bit rough? Sorry I'll probably rewrite it soon idk it was just one of those things I had to write down lol.)
The true battle was far from over.
Warriors stumbled upright, pain spiking through his chest.
He let out a wheezing cough, blood spattering out of his mouth.
Well that wasn't good....
His whole body was in agony and felt heavy with every step his shaky legs took.
He needed to lie down, to take a potion, a fairy, anything. He could feel the effects of blood loss already taking its course.
But Warriors had bigger things to deal with.
Broken bodies of black-blooded bokoblins covered the warzone, all of them brutally mauled and killed.
Warriors hadn't expected to have to fight off as many bokoblins as he did. No one did. He, Twilight and Time left the others to go patrol the new Era they had been transported to just a day before.
No one had prepared for a giant and brutal battle.
Warriors had been cornered by sevreal of the monsters withen minutes, the beasts sudden appearance over powering him.
Twlight had been barly conscious as the bokoblins started to circle the young man.
It looked like it was the end.
But Time wouldn't let that happen, no matter how much Warriors begged him not to.
The Ferice Deity's back lay facing Warriors, the God staring at its last victum with its glowing white orbs.
Twilight stirred somewhere a few feet away, but the deity didn't move.
He just clutched his bloodied claymore tighter.
"Time...." Warriors voice trembled as he called out, but he straightened his back, taking a few steps closer towards his friend.
"Time, it's over. You did it. You won, Time-"
But it wasn't Time anymore.
Slowly, the Ferice Deity turned to face Warriors, his marked face dotted with drops of scarlet blood (Time's blood?)
The deity's pure white hair blew in the wind slightly, flicking over his eeiry, expressionless gaze.
The only thing Warriors could hear, was his own shaky breath and the flapibg of his cap in the wind.
The Deity just stared, saying nor doing anything.
"Time...?"
"You told him no."
The Ferice Deity's voice was low and clear, commanding and powerful as a god's voice should be.
Warriors could just barley hear Time's voice underneath the Deity's, quite and emotionless.
"I am the only chance you had of surviving this battle, and yet you told him not to use me."
Suspicion pricked Warriors neck.
He scrambled for words.
"It, it hurts him when he puts on the mask!" He tried as the Deity took a menacing step forward.
"It's hard, hard on him to use you!"
But the Deity wasn't listening.
"Only traitors or enemies would tell someone that, and I am supposed to kill traitors and enemies. That is what I'll do."
No....He wouldn't
Warriors tried to take a step back but he slipped in black blood, and his beaten body lacked the energy to get up fast enough.
A large hand gripped his neck, squeezing with an uncomfortable pressure as Warriors was lifted from the ground.
"Please-! Time..." Warriors begged, starting to choke as the intensity of the hold increased.
Time had to fight it. He had done it before and he could do it again.
"Come back-" He struggled for breath, his feeble kicks growing weaker. He took in a strained gasp.
"-back to us..."
It was then that Warriors noticed the single, silver tear running down Ferice's cheek, something flickering in his eyes.
He was trying to fight it.
"This isn't you old man...."
The hand squeezed tighter, and darkness dotted Warriors vision.
It wasn't working.
Warriors felt terrible. He wished he could tell Time this wasn't his fault. That Warriors was happy to had fought alongside him.
But he couldn't.
Warriors was about to fade when an agonized roar ripped through Time's lips. Twilight had cut his sword across Time's calf, eyes desperate and pained.
The grip loosened, and was quickly as possible, Warriors grabbed the sides of Time's face and ripped the mask off.
The two crumpled to the floor. With whatever strength he had, Warriors was able to half catch half slow Time's fall. Twilight pulled them both upright, his mentors head resting limply on his lap.
Twilight handed Warriors a red bottle as he studied Time. "Drink it. Now." He instructed, sounding dead seroiuse. "Did you have one first-" Warriors tried to ask, but he was met with Twilights eyes, so he reluctantly drank the potion, which his body met with open arms.
Strength returning, Warriors crawled closer towards Time, gently putting a hand on his shoulder. "Time?"
The old man stirred, groaning softly, and opened his eye slowly. Almost as soon as he saw Warriors sitting over him, tears started to whell. "I'm so sorry...." he croaked softly. "I'm so, so sorry. I, I almost killed you..."
Time's voice broke, going into quiet hiccups of sobs. Warriors pulled him into a hug, burying his face in his shoulder. Twilight went behind his mentor and put a hand on his back.
Time looked behind him and suddenly pulled Twilight into the hug, squeezing him fericly.
"Your the reason Wars is alive, pup." Time whispered as Twilights eyes widened. "I'm so sorry that I did that to the both of you....I could never forgive myself if it ended differently....:
Warriors hugged his two brothers closer. "It wasn't your fault...." he soothed.
He looked up to see the mask laying just a few feet away, nothing more then just wood now.
Warriors felt anger boil inside him. He would never let that cursed mask hurt his family again.
Ever.
But right now, Warriors was just happy to be alive, to be here, with his brothers.
HI FREN YOUR ART IS GORGEOUS! I’ve had an itchy idea and figured I’d give it to you if you were still taking art requests. I see all these fics where Time uses the Fierce Deity mask because it’s the only way but I’ve seen NO ART. The ANGST. The DRAMA. The POSSIBILITIES.
If you’re feeling up to it, maybe this with a concerned big bro Wars? I’m weak for that combination
Warning:Blood, Choking

Thanks for asking!
2. Go to your AO3 “Works” page, to the sidebar with all the filters, and click the drop-down arrow for “Additional Tags.” What are your top 3-5 most used tags? Do you think they accurately represent your writing habits?
Pre-Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Hurt/Comfort
POV Leia Organa
Humor
Angst
This made me laugh out loud because, yes, in a nutshell, this is it. This is what I write. I actually just last week was thinking that I've written very few non-Leia-POV things recently, but I dropped a one-shot for The Year of the OTP's August prompt and a vignette for one of the Han and Leia Celebration prompts that are both from Han's POV, so I guess I'm working him back in there.
And I am forever wondering if I write too much hurt/comfort and angst. Balancing that is difficult because I genuinely like emotionally charged media that, while it might have a hopeful ending, can still be kind of a bummer. But I don't want to bum people out all the time. I do try for a range. But I know my tendencies.
And only like half of the stories I've written are pre-ESB...but, admittedly, that includes two multichapters, one of which just hit like 98K words, so I guess it's fair to say that the majority of the words I've written are most definitely in that pre-ESB time period.
3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?
I feel like I sort of covered my most-used tropes above tbh, but overall, I love writing friendship moments and good, bantery dialogue, and I think that almost always ends up in my fics unless they are stylistically intended to be very, very introspective. I like when characters enjoy being around one another. It drives me a little batty when there are media depictions of alleged friendships or romances, but the people are really more there for the vague idea of friendship or romance (like, I mean, Friends is such a mean-spirited show in so many ways...nobody on that show actually seems to like one another. Or, as much as I love Twlight discourse and the movies are bizarre comfort watches for me, Bella and Edward have no reason to be in love with each other. There are loads of other examples; Twilight is the just the most obvious one that comes to mind for me). So, yeah, I want people to actually want to be around each other in my fics and I think I include that pretty consistently.
36. Do you visualize what you read/write?
Oh, yes, for sure. Though there are times when writing when I can visualize exactly the expression or gesture someone is making in my mind and I have no idea how to describe it with words. That's always fun.
Thank you for the questions!

I recently started reading an online book written by a friend and of course I was immediately sold! I liked the fanfic so much that I created a cover for it. The book is about Twilight, specifically Jacob Black. That's why I decided to include him as a distinct person in the cover too! :)

Oh that reminds me :) Some odd specifics with this AU about the Boys!
Twi and Sky are pen pals! They’ve known each other since grade school. It’s what gives them what Wars calls “twin energy”.
Twi did an exchange student program that Ordon Providence offered. He did two years in Castletown’s high school. This is where he meets Midna, who is another exchange student! He completes his final year back in the Ordon Providence and it’s real awkward because he’s definitely different from Before.
Wild, high key and totally on accident, steals Twi’s dog from him. Said dog is a Hebra Husky named Wolfie. This happens sometime between Sky moving to the Surface and half forcibly moving Twi in with him and Hyrule moving in with Wild. Sky and Twi end up with a Remlit that Twi named Imp and Sky calls (jokingly) demon.
Hyrule, Wild, and Twi are the only ones actively in college. Sky used college as a cover to prevent unnecessary guilt (Twi) and unwarranted worrying (Sun and Groose). Hyrule is going to school for photography, he’s already a semi successful, professional landscape photographer but he wants to learn more techniques! Wild is debating between finishing the associates degree for engineering that he (supposedly) started Pre-Calamity or going to culinary school. Twi is in veterinary school but debating on changing to something more agricultural.
Legend is a very successful travel blogger. He travels with a small ‘crew’ that’s just himself and his two partners, Marin and Ravio. Marin does the photography for the blog and also is relatively popular on Pictogram. Ravio handles merch, exclusively, but also will run the video camera when necessary. Both do contribute to blog posts (rarely) and are often heard commenting in videos.
Time and Warriors are Ambassadors for the crown. Time is mostly retired and actively tells people he’s actually a trophy husband. Warriors is a little bit of a fan, but loses it quickly when he realizes Time’s a gremlin. They’re good friends with a lot of respect for each other.
Four is a blacksmith and leather smith. He meets Time due to the Ranch and meets Legend when Legend is out doing travel blogger things. They’re all fast friendships, considering.
Wind is technically in middle school but is homeschooled due to location. His home island just doesn’t have a large enough population of kids for a legit school, so they do this homeschooled hybrid with a teacher from the mainland online.
Legend knows most of them with the exception of Warriors and Wind. He also knows Wild but not really. Due to how much he travels, he has occasionally acted as a delivery man for Sky and Twi.
Some of the abilities from canon will make an appearance in this! So keep an eye out for the Wolf form, some of Time’s masks, the Champion abilities, etc
Twi is has fair amount of tattoos. He gets a lot of shit from the general public for it. The automatic assumption is usually that he’s a delinquent. It’s funnier, to Wild and Legend, when it happens when he’s out with Sky because Sky is more of an actual delinquent.
Legend and Time speak several languages. Twlight can speak three, officially, unless you ask Wars who claims Twi speaks four it’s not true wars is just being a bit of an ass about the Ordonian slang these counts are in addition to Sign Language. Wind, Wild and Sky also speak at least two languages officially and are teaching Hyrule and Twi.
Some other slightly disjointed things;
there are some providences that are and are not “part of Hyrule”. Three of which are Ordon, the Outset Islands, and Termina. Holodrum, Lorule, and Koholint are separate countries. Koholint and Outset both speak Koho, but Outset also speaks Hylian. Termina and Ordon have their own languages, but teach Hylian as a requirement from middle school forward (sort of like they do French in Louisiana!) The Sky Islands have their own version of Hylian that differs just enough from standard Hylian in both speaking and alphabet.
The gerudo, the rito, the zora, and the sheikah all have their own languages as well.
Only Warriors and Time know their princesses as princesses. Sky, Legend, and Four are friends with their princesses but don’t know they’re princesses. Wild used to know his princess. Twi, Wind, and Hyrule have no idea who their princesses are or that they have them.
The Calamity is a natural disaster that happened in the Necluda province and it was devastating. Many lost their homes, families, and lives. Both Flora and Wild lost their families and many friends. Wild lost his memory. Sonia and Rauru are Flora’s relatives who take her in after the accident. Teba and his wife offer to foster Wild until he’s a legal adult once he’s released from the hospital. He stays with them for six months, vanishes ten days after his supposed 18th birthday, and then comes back, briefly, to say thank you and apologize for vanishing. They keep in touch now.
I have more but I’ll stop here. So far I do have their ages plotted, how the each meet, how they all meet, the disastrous start to the plot, and small HCs about smaller things like personal style and fun facts
Some rambling about my LU Modern AU that I’m committing to working on:
Modern Weaponry like we know it doesn’t exist. So no guns, no tanks, etc. What they do have is the standard medieval weapons of swords, bows, cannons, etc. Except it isn’t socially acceptable to just walk around with that shit, so they’re magically enchanted to take other forms (yes I’m pulling inspiration from Percy Jackson, leaf me alone) swords are pens, quivers are backpacks/bows are keychains, etc
Cars and motorcycles do exist in this, but it isn’t unusual to see people using horses or horse drawn carts/carriages in more rural areas. Trains also exist! They’re a little more rare though.
Modern Hyrule is split into two different maps, similarly to TOTK just omit the depths, and its Hyrule (Surface) and Hyrule (Sky Islands) on maps. Castletown is the Capital of the Surface while Skyloft is the Capital of the Sky Islands. Both report to the castle. There are still the three regions with their respective peoples (Rito - Hebra, Gerudo - Desert, Zora - the domain) and the Sheikah do inhabit the fourth region as their ancestral “capital” Kakariko. Yes I am using BOTW/TOTK map for the basis of this map.
There is a Queen. She does have a consort, but confirms nothing about them to anyone. People are unsure if it’s true or not. She is rarely seen, unless you’ve been summoned, and she is rarely seen together with her consort. She is treated like a goddess, a queen, or with derision by the populace. She is Queen Hylia Zelda Leclair.
She technically is a Priestess and has Visions of the Princesses when they’re born. She summons them roughly a year or so before their Hero will be needed.
Princess and Hero are titles and only given to those Called by the Goddesses via Hylia.
Princesses are Called a year or so before they and their Hero will be needed and they undergo Princess training - Goddess magic training, General Knowledge classes, how to use meditation for having Visions, basic first aid, hand to hand combat, weapons training, horseback riding, etc etc. These girls can handle themselves pretty well after all that.
Princesses do not hold a Government Position. That’s not what it is. It’s more like they’re Queen Hylia’s Ambassadors to the populace, no politics attached. They’ll do a lot of outreach work, along with whatever they do for their regular lives outside of their Princess Work.
Heroes fly under the radar. They’re rarely known, by Hylia or their Princess, until It Is Time. They’re usually not Called like the Princesses by Hylia. It’s more like they’re just there when the trouble starts, along with their Princess, like a big not so happy accident.
The history of Hyrule details out the various Heroes who’ve come to the country’s aid and have dedicated Constellations to them. Some of the accounts of the heroes of the past have been lost to time, but there are Ten Known Heroes of the Past. Nine of them have dedicated Constellations, the tenth constellation is dedicated to both the first hero and all those lost to time.
The Hero Constellations are The Feather, The Minish, The Ocarina, The Bunny, The Wolf, The Seagull, The Fairy, the Scarf, and The Silent Princess. The final is The Sword of Legend.
Most Hylians believe that being born in the times of the year when these constellations are brightest means that you have the traits of that hero. Kind of like Zodiac signs, except a little more extra.
Other notable things about the night sky, there’s a red star - it’s called the Star of Demise. Blood moons happen once every 100 days, some people get sick during this event. There is a grouping of four constellations that appear with The Silent Princess called The Champions, as a group, and individually are a Camel, a Bird, a Lizard, and an Elephant.
Ordon is located just outside of Faron, semi close to the mountains. It’s one of the more remote towns and is a very successful farming community known for their goats.
And that’s all I’ve got that’s not getting into more specifics for the boys and such. If anyone is interested in that, I’d be more than happy to chat about it :)

I’m not Scared yet, but there’s not a bigger (joint) cover to be had than Entertainment Weekly tbh...yeah they might get a Variety or Hollywood Reporter cover but those are weekly and not as big of an impact. I mean, some of EW’s covers have been iconic (think Twlight). Simone & Jonathan might/will probably get solo magazine covers, but it was a massive missed opportunity to not have them in costume and to introduce the new S2 couple. A joint photoshoot feature in Vanity Fair or Vogue or whatever doesn’t have the same impact as a monthly *cover*.
Instead, they’re focusing on the supporting characters, because, in my opinion, they’re too cowardly to go full-throat and promote the show as a Romance. They’re using it being an ensemble show as a crutch, basically. Which is stupid because Kate and Anthony are the best couple and Simone and Jonathan are very appealing/marketable.
Oooh thanks for the info cause I'm pretty illiterate when it comes to magazines/celeb promo so I assumed it was just a cover and they were saving the leads for something bigger, and I now miss that blissful ignorance 😭😭😭
I don't remember if they gave Regé and Phoebe a similar photoshoot, the only thing I found was the Vogue photos of them and the Netflix promo when the show came out. But I also didn't find any EW Bridgerton material from s01 at all, so if they managed to get a shot at it this time, Jonathan and Simone should have been the obvious choices! Plus, the romance angle really worked with Simon and Daphne, so the production backtracking and trying to sell s02 as an ensamble show is stupid as well as cowardly. Even if that's the case, couldn't they at least have Simone with the rest of the female characters in the EW cover?? Seriously??
At least Charithra makes sense as a choice since her character is important this season so I could see EW focusing on her and Simone as the younger female additions. But Claudia and Nicola? Also, am I the only one seeing an effort to center Nicola a bit too much, when her story is two seasons away? I guess it could be because she's more popular as an actress, I just hope it's not because the Whistledown reveal will lead to some big #girlboss narrative over seasons 2 and 3.
Anyway, my point is: the leading couple are Simone and Jonathan. I want to see that reflected in the show's promo instead of some half-hearted approach that focuses on secondary characters from two and three seasons down the road. You can't sleep on your leading actors and their story and then complain about the romance angle not selling, when you're throwing leads and their story under the bus. Do they really expect the mainstream audience to get hyped about a bunch of supporting characters as the faces of the show???

SuyaLight Master Post Part 9
I really like these two there’s not a lot of content for the fandom as a whole soooo here’s my submission as I get every moment of these two royals who literally share a braincell (and I love them for it) First up this is just on the manga if you are anime only its going to have stuff you havent seen, yes even with what the anime covers (so read it) and there will be spoilers so beware. If you prefer Demon Monk/Cleric/Leo (which I don’t really get) I am sorry this isnt for you. Lets go! Part 1 is here Part 2 is here Part 3 is here Part 4 is here Part 5 is here Part 6 is here Part 7 is here Part 8 is here Part 8.5 is here
Tumblr media
So picking up where we left off, they are in the neutral zone for training and Suya is upset that humans are bad mouthing the demons, so she wants the to show off her tacts though are ummm Twilight says it best
Tumblr media
Suyas ‘help’ drives the demons to try and keep her out of it.
Tumblr media
But those same humans get into trouble with some other demons and get saved by our main group.
Tumblr media
It does the trick and even impresses Suya
Tumblr media
Another trial to get where they want appears but Suya gets distracted and gives chase earning Tilights ire
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like that she asks for permission and he just scolds her.
Tumblr media
They make it to the head of the neutral zone who happens to be Suya’s aunt
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THey think Suya would be a good choice to talk to her on their behalf but ummmm
Tumblr media
Probably the nicest way Twilight could put what Suya did. And he has great hopes for her help
Tumblr media
Hopes Suya immediately kills
Tumblr media
I love that he can tell she’s faking.
Tumblr media
Twilight always gets the brunt of accusations for Suya’s behaviors
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Aunt challenges Twlight but Suya calls her out before anything happens
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Much like Suya herself the Aunt sees potential in Twilight and his goals (Almost like an approving inlaw that makes 2 with the mother)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And our pair run off into the sunset....sorta
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even though she’s using him to carry her, Twlight still sees the best in Suya and perhaps really does have the best assessment of her actions
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They are all exhausted from the training and Suya “Graciously” offers to help.
Tumblr media
Twilight is aware that Suya almost never does things without another goal but he’s not in a position to fight her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s actually really touched and impressed by her work ethic and abilities
Tumblr media
Until she starts going beyond what he asked.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then his fears resurface, he knows Suya fairly well at this point.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I simply adore that they share the same goals and ideals, they don’t want to just be incharge because of their birth but because they earned it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Twilight is touched believing he now has an alley for his goals
Tumblr media
But his instincts were proven right.
Tumblr media
He tries to talk to her on not abusing her power just cause she wants things but Suya is Suya.
