Never felt more that i am indeed not in my twenties anymore scrolling through astarions actors tag and seeing people talk about how OLD he is at 42 and that he is older than their parents

And my brain is like:

"Your parents are just 42? And you are old enough type entire sentences on the internet. I am impressed and surprised."

#talking lurker #for contexts my 3 siblings are all ovdr 40 #and yes the one who is 42 oldest child might be 17 now #and can also type entire sentences on the internet but is still feels fake tbh #but in the life spann of a human being 42 adult but it is not old #is not old age eveb though #i understand at 18 it feels that way #but mum tries to explain this to my nephew sometimes about his father #being “you father is still young it is ok and normal that he has still not found the job path that works for him #he is not odd for changing his mind about what he wanna work with every 10th year #my nephew is btw not convinced about this argument lol #but mum is right in this i think
