Can we take a moment to appreciate how Gideon, the literal child of the first and arguably the most powerful necromancer ever, lost the genetic lottery so bad that not only she's the spitting image of her mother and the only trait she seems to have inherited from her father is the one thing that gives away the biggest lie in the universe, but also she manages to have like less than zero necromantic affinity.
