did dteam really build the house? I thought they just bought it and just remodeled the inside a bit - mainly the office/bedroom areas

I don't know all the details, but Dream owns a lot of land and property, residential and non. usually, buying land (or a "lot") in a residential neighborhood means also entering a contract with the building company that has the construction rights to the land, so you get to choose a floor plan/model from them, so you buy the land, the home, and technically do get to "build" the house. this could be different in Florida, but in the last few places I lived, this is how a lot of new neighborhoods, typically wealthy neighborhoods, work. Dream is also a lot wealthier than that, so there are more details and options for him, obviously.

I always assumed that Dream negotiated the streaming rooms and bedrooms pre-construction, so they were likely part of the final floor plan. I think this because they are the most thought out and original designed parts of the house, where his bathroom, foyer, kitchen, etc are all giving base model. I think there were renovations done between the house being built and now, just going off of small snippets of videos and snapchats, but I highly doubt they had the house(s) built and then gutted and remodeled it just for their gamer heaven.

he's talked a bit about owning land, warehouses, and obtaining/building the house in the past, but take all that with a grain of salt because at the end of the day, we don't know. there was a time when Sapnap first moved in with him that's a little confusing because it seemed like they lived in a house that wasn't the dransion (the house with the dream shrine room lol). I believe they've referred to it separately from the dransion, but again there is a lot of confusion and debate on if it was a temporary house or the early-dransion, and Dream/dramily were getting actively doxxed and stalked at the time, so it's just not something I care to look into.
