Gonna watch doctor sleep, jerk off and forget im lonely

#i literally have a problem #i just hung out with ppl today #i got to socialize and talk to beautiful girls #iv had a good day #and the moment im alone in my house im miserable again #there something rooted deep in me that i dont know how to fix i think #sorry im being melodramatic #but im sick of working and spending 90% of my free time alone #i can do alone! i can do it im a big boy #and i can handle and do it #but i wish someone was excited for the next time we got to see each other or talk to each other #that wanted to spend their time with me #its the adhd acting up again #i literally have this probably every few months and have a fucking melt down because im not the important person in anyones life #but im about to be 25 #and iv never been in love with anyone who was able to love me back #which isnt their problem its my own #i just get infatuated with ppl who im not their type or im just not a fit for the life they want #which is fine thatst just how it is #but iv been getting sad realizing the few times iv been infatuated enough to consider it romantic feelings of love #its always been to ppl im well aware im not built for #i can love them all i want but that wont change the fact that im just not what they want or what they need #and i just keep having to tell myself that its ok and im fine with it because i have to be #everyone tells me to just go for it #but i know already i wont get anything out of it but heartache #i may be a bit thick and not always aware when someone is interested in me until they say it to my face straight up #but i think im p good at telling when someone has NO interest in me ykno #i can look at someone i like and someone i know and see their interest and life and know im not meant to fit into it that way #so i shouldnt bother them with this going after it nonsense ykno #but idk where else to go

I'm rewatching Steven Universe and I will never forgive Fandom for what it did to her

#also watching it at age 19-20 as it was released and experiencing the resulting clusterfuck online fandom response was a wild trip #im finally rewatching it again at 25 and really really feel lucky to have seen it at the age i did #i have completely different perspective on it now that i have 3 young nephews and a neice where before i was in college #the music is still as incredible as it was back then #and the animation #i cant beleive people got honestly and truly upset and violently aggressive about characters being off model sometimes #early stevens voice though kills me after awhile...... the yelling .... but his characters growth and development also being reflected in #his voice changing as he grows up #they also go crazy hard on some scenes #who am i kidding the show was a masterpiece and ahead of its time

turbo is connected to the last piece of his code in the whole arcade - a trophy he gifted to felix in mid 80s as a symbol of him genuinely caring about their relationships on par with being the best racer. felix also gave him one of his medals and both kept their gifts next to other rewards, but when roadblasters and turbotime were unplugged, the medal was gone with everything else

now, after burning in cola-lava turbo is basically dead, but scraps of his code still were intertwined with the trophy (after all, it was his first winner's cup, but felix never knew about it), giving turbo an opportunity to exist as a shadow incapable of interacting with anything and anyone besides felix, who kept the trophy even after the roadblasters incident

a few Wind Breaker hcs.

umemiya. would really love and adore having a family of his own. signs up for every parenting class available and has a notebook of every piece of advice from each person in town. surprisingly doesn't freak out about the things that can go wrong and instead talks about the future.

suo. is a romantic at heart. not that he swoons at romance, but he is naturally very confident in his approach to it, but not obviously so. it's a subtle type of romance. he isn't shy to give compliments, gifts, signs of affection. if anyone says something about the person he enjoys, he'd be sure to repay the favor.

jou. into adulthood, he would have a completed horimono. they tell a story and were done by a friend of a friend of an elderly man he jokes with at the bath house. it would most likely be in the munewari style. while getting it done, he is relatively quiet and uses the time to reflect.

kaji. very gentle with his partner in most realms. doesn't have a lot of romantic history and so any affection is treated like a precious stone. he cherishes that stone, but holding it in his hands terrifies him. the thought of breaking it is too much for him handle, so he would rather look at it from afar.
