Evaluation
My final animation has undergone a lot of changes since its original conception. It has shifted dramatically from depicting casual flooding to apocalyptic catastrophes taken directly from the bible. This decision was made partly to give each scene a stronger visual identity and it has given me a clearer sense of direction in the project. It is also an opportunity to showcase more variety in my own animation abilities.聽
I think that although the imagery has been radically altered, I have still been able to stay true to the original idea of representing apathy in society. The absurdist visual humour I was trying to achieve with the flood has hopefully become more exaggerated. The theatrical quality of the natural disasters seems even more effective for contrasting with the casual behaviour of the characters in each scene. The visual elements that I have been experimenting from the beginning of the project, such as use of the colour palette, have to be reconsidered but they are still crucial to the composition.聽 聽
Although some details of my finished scene (such as the swarm of locust) will need alteration I feel that it is a faithful representation of what the final animation will be. It encapsulates the mood and visual style of the piece and I鈥檓 confident that it will be even more effective when viewed as part of a series.聽

Seven trumpets are sounded, one at a time, to cue apocalyptic events that were seen in the vision of the Revelation of Christ Jesus,聽by John of Patmos, as written in the Book of Revelation of the New Testament. The seven trumpets are sounded by seven angels and the events that follow are described in detail from Revelation Chapters 8 to 11. The first six trumpets are used to serve as a wake up call to the sinners on Earth and a call to repentance. Each trumpet blast brings with it a plague of a more disastrous nature than the one before it. The trumpet is used to build anticipation and tells the reader that an alert, announcement, or warning is about to take place. The seventh trumpet does not bring a plague with it. Rather, it is sounded so that glory is given to God and His kingdom is announced.聽

The Book of Revelation
The Book of Revelation is a book of the New Testament that occupies a central place in Christian eschatology. The book spans three literary genres: the epistolary, the apocalyptic, and the prophetic. It begins with John, on the island of Patmos in the Aegean, addressing a letter to the "Seven Churches of Asia". He then describes a series of prophetic visions, including figures such as the Whore of Babylon and the Beast, culminating in the Second Coming of Jesus.
