the whole "you're born in riverdale and then you'll die in riverdale and then when you die you'll still be in riverdale" thing really is affirmed by the fact that like. tabitha got out! at the end of the show she's not in that diner with them! she's the only one of the core-four-age main characters who wasn't born in riverdale, and that's the reason she escaped
