honestly one of my worries for datv is that “was friends with solas and wants to redeem him,” “was enemies with solas and wants to stop him” and “was friends with solas but wants to stop him” and “was enemies with solas but wants to redeem him” are all viable ways to play dai but the choices in datv seem to lack any of that nuance. i feel like the game is assuming that “if you want to stop solas you probably punched him and hated him” and “if you want to save solas you guys were bffffffs forever.”
