hm wow that’s a really interesting ring ed’s got there that totally doesn’t match the rest of his aesthetic and kind of reminds me of someone else… too bad he’s not wearing it on his ring finger or anything right guys cuz that would be wild

Dear Ed,

The crew and I are safe and thriving. Still a bit unclear whether you wanted to leave them for dead? Or perhaps that was just an oversight?

As I’ve renounced my wealth, we’ve been forced to take up temporary residence on the Republic of Pirates. Fortunately we’ve been able to work a few of Oluwande’s connections.

#so like the gist of the plot i think is coming up is ed goes fishing and finds his leathers again #and zheng goes with stede since all her stuff is destroyed and they go to fight ceramic nose prince #and then ed realizes he DOES want to commit to stede when he finds the bottle letters and i’m assuming he rushes off to find stede #either just for love or bc he realizes stede is in trouble with ceramic nose prince #then there’s the scene where they��re dodging the english and running to each other on the beach (mimics the opening scene in stede’s dream)#and zheng probably does all the work defeating the english while the gays just do their thing #if my joke about the ring (which genuinely does look like something stede would wear since it’s gold and green and bright compared to ed’s #… ed’s usual silver) i was cut off #but if my joke about the ring is on the mark then i think stede put it in a bottle and quote unquote proposed #and ed is like oh shit we’re in love and puts on the ring and goes to find stede #that’s my official theory #uh #ofmd spoilers
