AU where Danny does have nerve and/or brain damage from the accident, but the effects vary depending on his access to ectoplasm.
#danny phantom#based on the idea ectoplasm and the core act as kinda like every organ for the ghost including nervous system#and that ghosts need to absorb ambient ectoplasm#so Danny with higher levels of ectoplasm means that he can use the ectoplasm in his body to sort of bypass an injured nerve#so say the electrocution to his hand damaged those nerves and made it so normally he had little to no use of the hand itself#but if in an ectocontaminated enough place or after exposure to enough ectoplasm he'd slowly regain at least some ability to move it#if you wanna take this to really far angsty levels#you could have the accident completely fry his nervous system and make him completely dependent on ectoplasm to stay alive#which also means the less access to ectoplasm he has the worse it gets
