Hi, Kym! I know you're still working on your costume meta (which I'm excited to read), but I'm curious about Buck's jacket in the cemetery scene. Is it the same jacket he was wearing when he followed Taylor to her dad's parole hearing in Past is Prologue?

I hope you found my costume meta and that you enjoyed it!

Its a different Jacket to the one he wears to Oklahoma, but the same though did cross my mind! I think there may be some relevance to all three jackets being similar. I didn't go into this one in my costume meta (because it was already way way too long!!!) but there is definitely something in the connection between chasing Taylor to Oklahoma and it bringing forth a sort of love declaration.

I think the one from the equestrian centre is the most important connection - the tie to Eddie, to Buck being there for Eddie when Eddie needed him - the whole Buck being a fixer thing and the green of this new jacket being an Eddie colour not a Buck colour ties into the idea that the roles are reversed - that Eddie is now being there for Buck even if Buck cannot yet see it - that Buck is at war with himself at the moment (hence the army colouring) and that being the call to arms for Eddie - and why we see Eddies facial journey of recognition that Buck is more broken than anyone thought - that Eddie was being let in on something by Buck in the same way he let Buck in when he was breaking. The seeing and being seen conversation on the surface hurt, but was a really clear indicator that Buck seeing Eddie in that equestrian therapy centre conversation was being reciprocated here in this scene.

But more importantly for me, it being worn after the truck scene where Bobby tells Buck he keeps going with the flow and falling into relationships with women without any idea how he got there - exactly what he is doing all over again with Natalia!!! It all plays into the idea of perception - of being seen and of Buck seeing himself! It ties into the theme of who truly sees him and who only sees him superficially - for what he can do for someone else.

I very much wouldn't be surprised to see Natalia place into the same mould as Taylor here - Taylor only 'kind of loved' Buck for chasing after her - not for anything else and I think we'll probably see as Buck attempts to get to know Natalia she's going to be far ore interested in his death than she is in who he is as a living person. Thats totally fine - its about Buck recognising things faster and being able to gain some perspective - in many ways its about him being able to recognise that what he did for Taylor - being there for her at a rough moment - stepping in, is what his friends and family are doing for him and what he has done for them in turn as well - that its ok to not behold Buck anymore and that they will still see him and be there for him anyway. Buck is traumatised right now and cannot see the wood for the trees but he'll get the messages the universe is sending him in the end!

I got way off topic 😂 all this to say that I think the grey and black jacket from past is prologue is connected to the graveside scene from 6x15, because they are juxtapositions of each other - it is about Buck being there for people when they need him, and showing the difference in reciprocation because Taylor ultimately wasn't there when Buck needed her/ asked her for something (to not run the story about Jonah) but now we're going to see Eddie reciprocate the equestrian centre for Buck in whatever form it takes and be there for Buck in return!

Part 4 of Hyunjin and Me Fantasy

*Mentions of Virginity Loss*

I stormed out of Hyunjin's apartment and went across the street back to my place. I slammed my door shut when I got back to my room. A few minutes later I get a text from Hyunjin: Laila I don't want this to be how our friendship ends but this doesn't mean I'm breaking up with Lexani. She's my first relationship and I'm not gonna let you ruin it. I looked at my phone with shock. I texted back: So now you're serious about this relationship?, He texted back saying that he is now but won't let me intervene in it, even though I fully doubt that the relationship ship was gonna last.

The next week at school, Hyunjin and Lexani were so close to each other, even I could feel the suffocation. During one of my classes I went to the bathroom and caught those two making out in the hallway. When Hyunjin saw me he stopped for a second then continued to kiss Lexani as if he was taunting me while I was just standing there, I went back to class after I lost the urge to go. Starting to think about what his intentions could possibly be.

*Hyunjin's POV*

I don't what I was thinking when I decided to keep kissing Lexi after Laila saw what happened and my jaw was getting tired. Lex kissed me on the cheek and said "Come to my house after school today we'll "study" before we Juan comes over tomorrow". My heart started pounding out of excitement, but I knew if I told Laila about this she would probably be even more jealous than she already is. I asked my mom if she could drop me off at Lexi's house so we could do some extra studying for a class, she agreed and drove me there. Once I arrived I was greeted by Lexi herself, she pulled me in and waved at mom who was in the car. I noticed that she was home alone, "Where are your parents?" I asked, "They had to take care of some important business up north in Fort Lauderdale (which is almost a two our drive from Miami) so they won't be back until like midnight). She took me to her room and told me to take my clothes off next thing I know I'm laying in bed next to a completely naked and tired Lexani. "So that was your first time?", She asked. "Yeah, and this was your first time too, right?", She avoided the question and asked me a different one. "So did it feel good? Cuz I know I felt good." I answered her question with a smile and felt a little confidence boost afterwards. But I knew I didn't really like her reaction when I asked her that question When it was time for me to get picked up I got into the car and texted Laila asking if she wanted to go to the park with me on Friday. To my surprise she texted back: Yeah I just found this big shady tree in the back of park plus I have nothing to do on Friday 😁. A smile rose on my fave when I saw that.

That day I met up with Laila under that big tree she was talking about. She was wearing a cute sundress and loafers. When she smiled at me, it just warmed my heart so much that she was here infront of me. I've never felt this way about Laila but I knew that I liked it. When I sat down next to her I held her hand and just asked her about her day but in no time we were laughing and cracking up about god knows what. Once we finally settled down I finally felt open enough to tell her what happened on Monday. "So guess what", "What?", "... I lost my virginity on Monday", she froze for a second. I was completely shocked when she seemed happy for me. "Wait so you're actually not mad about this", "Well I'm happy that you finally got to experience something like that plus I realized that were growing up and these things are gonna start happening". But she wasn't ready for what I was about to tell her next. "So after me and Lexani finished and she went to sleep. I went through her phone because when I asked her if this was her first time she didn't say anything and that made me suspicious of what she was doing without me. I went though her archived text messages and saw texts from different guys from her last school and they were all talking about doing it with her and I found a couple of sext messages from guys at our school that were opened recently. So I'm gonna break up with her the next time I see her". Laila's jaw was hanging wide open.

ok so here is how I feel like it's going to go down, I think first on we'll have someone talking about how there's a trans kid doing abi in their grade, but they don't know who it is, Matteo hears this maybe from one of the boys. Then Matteo and David talk, and he tells David about the trans kid in their grade, in which David asks Matteo if he would date a trans. Matteo will most likely say no, I think rather than saying something entirely offensive, Matteo will just be like it's not really 1/?

for me and I don't thinkI'd feel comfortable dating a transperson. Then David steps back and stopstalking to Matteo and hides as his coping mechanism. Matteo thinking that Davidisn't interested anymore or something similar starts to become depressive andgoes back to Sara. Matteo will get super drunk at the party and go up to Saraand kiss her, David sees this and leaves straight after. Now I think thenwhat'll happen, and as much as I hate this, but Sara is going to probably bereally 2/?

Maybe alluding to him about being gayor something? or even asking him are you gay? I am unsure about whathappens next, but I think Matteo will have his mental break down, unlike Evenhe may not have the you are not alone scene (in that sense), but I think Jonaswill be the one to reach out to him and ask him what is up, instead of whathappened in the original...Matteo comes out, maybe tells him about it? idk?Somehow he reunites with David, unlike in the original, they do not havereunion sex since David is trans and he still hasn't told Matteo, and would be4/?

Ok I've played every assassins creed game, aside from like...the smaller side scrollers and mobile games. It's my favorite franchise. So in comparison, I love the rpg direction Ubisoft has gone in. I find the story more engaging. The combat in this game kept most of the controls from odyssey. Which is fine with me. The controls are good. I dislike the d-pad weapon choosing this time around (I play on console.), and I dislike moving the assassinate button from y to rb bc thats the same button you use to melee. The parkour is pretty decent, much better than earlier games. And honestly even after only a couple of hours game play I already like Eivor better than Kassandra and there are a lot of scenes that are made better by her being a woman. Whereas with Kassandra...sometimes I thought Alexios would have been better.

There are some things about the maps and tracking that I dislike (ie, I wish it zoomed in more especially in cities.), but that'll always be the case. They kept fast travel, which is great, and the unlocking of it is well implemented. You are forced into going the long way once and so you see the gorgeous scenery and whatnot and then you can save time. They kept horse taxi which, as I understand it, is controversial but I love it and always have. Sometimes I dont WANT to crawl over 16 mountains to get there via the as the crow flies route. Sometimes I want to set my horse on a target and scroll through my phone while it runs. And speaking of crows, I LOVE the bird system vs previous "eagle vision" systems and I always have. I think it's creative and useful. I preferred how it worked in odyssey when it comes to identifying targets, but now you can have more than 1 target and you can see important things nearby easier than you could in previous games and they added the crouch highlighting so it kinda comes out in the wash.

Does it have bugs? Yes. During my fight with what's his face the cruel he bugged it in phase 2 and got stuck on the platform and it made him way easier to kill. But games ALWAYS have bugs. It's unavoidable. And people want ubisoft to pump out these games asap and without pushing back launch dates (something ubisoft has reliably done, btw.) Without accounting for that fact that it's going to mean bugs. So live with it.

The game is still fun so far and it's GORGEOUS. The scenery... I've taken so many pictures. And Eivor is fun! She has that AC swagger and skill. I wish they'd get back to being deep in AC lore - I want to actually be an assassin again - but it looks like Eivor is heading that way so we'll see. That was my biggest complaint about the last three games, although Bayak's story is probably the most emotional for me so far.

So yeah, people. It's an AC game. That's what I expected and that's what I got.

Now, unrelated, but @systlin have you played through any of the out of the Animus story yet? I got to the first bit today. Anyway, if you haven't yet you should take the time to read Layla's files on her computer. Some nice lore in there. Its so nice to see Rebecca and Shawn again, and I like that they're progressing the storyline again after it sort of stalling the last two games (although not towards the end of Odyssey. There was a lot of modern storyline in that one.).

Seriously tho, I’ve seen SO much hate on Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, and some of it is legitimate, like “Fix the fucking bugs, Ubisoft” or “I’m not a big fan of the combat in this one” but a lot more is just “It’s not an AC game any more it’s like an RPG”

And like…okay? But it’s fun? I like playing that way? I’m over here having fun I’m sorry y’all joyless purists have such sticks up your asses.

Honestly, I'm so furious about Isabelle's storyline this season, because it means we'll never get the Sizzy!bite from the books and I'm so bitter because I loved that moment and I wanted to see it on screen. I hate how Sizzy hasn't started yet and we're already denied of magical moments like this one. Sorry to be pessimistic in your askbox, I just needed to vent.

You aren’t the first so don’t worry, you can always come and vent to me about Sizzy. Ok, saying that i’m angry about Izzy storyline too, not because of that but because the way they made it, and how they keep with the ‘latina being drug addict’ stereotype that i’m tired of and honestly hurt me being myself a latina. 

Now, the Sizzy!bite… don’t you think that the important part about that scene isn’t the bite but the fact they both finally open up with each other? I mean, Izzy says that accept him as a vampire, that he is not a monster, and Simon that he doesn’t care about Isabelle’s scars, in fact, that made her who she is. And thats for me, the ‘magic’ of that scene, if and i pray, for us to have that without the bite, it could be perfect. You probably know that i love them more than any other fictional couple ever, since 7+ years ago but i think there is more important scenes like the ‘hearts are breakable’, or the one where they go to see the angel and she run to him, or of course their first i love you, those kind of scenes we need to fight for. And of course, hope that they will respect our dear Sizzy, don’t you think? ;)

Alternate Costumes

Successfully complete the game on the easy difficulty setting with any rank better than an F to unlock Jill’s costume from the original Resident Evil and Regina’s costume from Dino Crisis. Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting with a rank of D to unlock two costumes, C for three, B for four, and A for all five costumes. The three additional costumes are a police miniskirt, disco, and biker outfits.

Boutique Key

Successfully complete the game once and wait for the credits to end, then save the “Next Game” file to receive the key to the Boutique on the first street at the start of the game. Use the key to enter and change into an alternate costume.

Mercenary Mode

Successfully complete the game once on any difficulty setting and wait for the credits to end, then save the “Next Game” file to unlock “The Mercenaries” mini-game. Start a new game, choose that saved game, then select “The Mercenaries” mode. This mode involves controlling Carlos, Mikhal, or Nikoli from the train to the starting room with a two minute timer. Killing the various opponents and rescuing civilians during the journey will add extra money and more time to the clock. A rank and money will be awarded after the game is completed. The money can be used to purchase better weapons and infinite ammunition.

S Ranking

When defeating the game, you get different rankings based on how long it took you. The S ranking is the highest, and you get the best extra goodies from acheiving this ranking. In order to get this ranking, you have to beat the game in under 3 mins 30 secs. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED THE LEECH HUNTER GAME! Beat the game once to unlock the Leech Hunter game and collect all 100 lecches (It’s easier if you kill all the enemies first and then drop all you items and look for the leeches). By doing this, you will get extra guns and unlimited ammo. Now you don’t have to worry about collecting ammo or switching characters as often.

Broken Ladder

Do you not know what to do with the hookshot on the train? Remember the broken ladder in the room where you first saw zombies. Use the hookshot there to get you on the roof. On the roof have Rebecca jump into a hole. Kill the zombie and get your briefcase key.

Easy Kill

When killing a monster be sure to find its weak spot and the best weapon to use against it. I’ll will list the weak spots I know and the weapon to use.

Zombie- The best spot is the head. I like to use the pistol on them because they're not that hard to kill (why waste your good bullets). Leeches- Don't even waste your bullets on them. Watch your partner, make sure he doesn't waste your bullets on them. Leech Men- It's best to run past them to if you can, but if that's not possible then use your molotvo cocktails. If you don't have any then shoot off his head so he can't see you or shoot off his arms so he can't hit you. If you hit him enough he will be nothing but a pair of legs. Thats when you run because he will blow up with in a few seconds. Spiders- Spiders aren't that hard to kill but, they are very sneaky. Watch the walls because thats where they usually are. Make sure they don't hit you with poison.I would suggest the shotgun. Insect Larva- They aren't that hard. You can sometimes hear them from a distance unless they're on the cieling. I would suggest the shotgun. Monkeys- Monkeys are very fast and hard to hit. Make sure they don't jump on your back. I like to use the Grenade Launcher. If not then the shotgun. Scorpions- They look big and hard, but the aren't. Aim at their head with the shotgun. Dogs- Dogs are fast and hard to hit but other than that they're pretty easy. I suggest the pistol. Skinless Beasts- They can be kind of difficult because of they're speed and power. I used the Grenade Launcher on them.

The Brakes Code For The Train (Only)

The code is quite simple if your stuck, then you come to the right place. There are then little dots, you have to fill each one out with a number or you can’t complete the code. When you reach the driver car have Rebecca stay and then have Billy go to where you got the hookshot, don’t forget the magnetic card. When you reach the place where you got the hookshot just insert the card and you’ll need a total to equal 81, then just insert 9 eight times then insert 3 twice that should equal 81. The next code with Rebecca will probably be 36 just select 3 nine times then just insert 9 then that should complete the code for the Brakes.
