My only request is if there could be a bit of mama worry and care as well as sisterly care- I know your not a fan of writing alcina but I've been seeing her pop up more often so it makes me believe you're getting more comfortable writing her? But still add her if you want and I hope mother care and sister care is not to much of a big ask.

None know what is behind the titles, the overwhelming amount of stress, the angry tears and breakdowns each night, the headaches daring to overwhelm her after neglecting meals in favor of working more, or simply being too stressed and forgetting about them entirely

Alcina, always praising her for being so headstrong, for the tasks she accomplishes in record time, could never guess the intense toll it takes on her eldest

She knows only of her bright smile when she is praised, cannot catch a glimpse of how her precious eldest breaks herself to perform better, faster, more tasks than she is given, more tasks than anyone ought to take on, desperately chasing the next words of praise from her

Cassandra, mocking and rolling her eyes when her sister scolds her, just rarely sees the utter exhaustion in her well kept features, just rarely picks up the unease her sister's swarm seems to convey, just rarely notices how her sister trembles when she crosses her arms and scolds her

Daniela, who so often mocks and pouts, who so often causes more trouble, intentionally or not. Always looking up at her sister, yet incapable of looking at her, the eldest constantly surrounded by thick walls shielding the true exhaustion her life brings

It's like this that she pushes herself too far

She doesn't understand what's happening, doesn't understand how she could trap herself in this room with no escape

She wants to blame Cassandra

She wants to snarl about how she told her to catch the man-thing and she deliberately let him go, only to continue on and postpone her childish, sadistic hunt

Naturally, catching him is now her task

What she didn't account for, however, is being locked inside a room with two large, broken windows and the cool wind causing more and more of her flies to drop rapidly

She feels pain course through her entire body as shots are fired at her, feels as her body trembles, then falls to the ground, her knees weak

Everything goes blurry first, her vision swimming, her head so light and mind hazy

Then, darkness, pain, and silence

She awakens to...noise?

Whispers, hushed voices and snarls. Her eyes feel heavy, her body even more so

She's cold, terribly so, but feels something warm surrounding her. A blanket? No, there must be more than one. Three thick ones, at least

Bela stirs a little as she feels her body be readjusted, her mind reeling as she attempts to figure out where she is

Next, however, she picks up a series of familiar scents

Rich perfume and roses- her favorite scent, the one bringing her the most comfort- Mama is here

Then, there is the scent of iron and blood, of pine trees and the kind of indescribable smell that belongs to rain and water- Cassandra is here

She picks up the last, too, the sweet perfume mixing into the coppery scent of blood- Daniela is here

Ah, but she hardly needs her scent to tell that. She winces when she feels something press against her stomach, her eyes fluttering a little as the thing- a hand, she is sure- is immediately removed and she picks up the hushed snarls of Cassandra as she scolds the redhead

"Move it!"

She opens her eyes to the sound, feeling her body protest as it yearns for just a little more rest

Immediately, she gasps as a body crashed against hers and she feels her youngest sister's head bump against her throat. She hugs her, so tight it hurts, her front and dress rubbing up uncomfortably against the countless wounds on her body

She doesn't dare push her away

"I'm so sorry!", she hears her cry. Again, she feels the discomfort of warm breaths hitting her neck and wet tears running down her skin, though she doesn't dare push the younger woman off. Instead, she groggily raises her aching arms to wrap them around her, not trusting her voice judging by how dry her throat feels

Opening her eyes fully, she finally recognizes the room she's in

She's in her mother's arms, four blankets piled on top of her and countless smaller things- pillows, dolls, stuffed animals and dead mice set up around her almost like an offering of comfort and a plea for forgiveness. Too exhausted, she can't bring herself to smile, though weakly raises her fingers towards her other sister until she feels Cassandra hold them wordlessly, not daring to meet her eyes

She knows, after all, it was her job to kill the man-thing. Her task to get rid of him. Her fault her sister collapsed and nearly froze over, she's sure, unaware of just how hard she has been pushing herself prior

Still, despite the pain she's in, she croaks out a little laugh when Cassandra eventually tugs at the back of her sister's dress, drawing unhappy whines from her as she's yanked back and away, completely oblivious to how the blonde breathes a sigh of relief now the pressure on her wounds and aching body has been lifted

She feels a large hand lovingly cup her head and sighs in relief yet again, leaning into the touch as her eyes slip shut again

She doesn't dare meet her mother's eyes, not after this. She couldn't bear the immense worry in her eyes, knowing she caused it. Knowing it's her fault

Despite her efforts, however, her mother knows

She always does

Bela whines lowly at the back of her throat as she’s turned and her chin is lifted, pressing her eyes shut when she feels tears build up

She couldn’t bear the disappointment she is sure Alcina must feel

Instead, her eyes snap open wide when she feels the woman kiss her forehead as she has so often back when they were still little. Much to her embarrassment her bottom lip wobbles when she catches the utterly loving and caring expression her mother’s face shows

No disappointment- at least not revealed by her expression

She jumps as she feels a body against her back, giggling tiredly as she feels Daniela sling her arms back around her, sniffling quietly by her ear

Her heart aches again as she hears the woman whisper and sniffle, promising to be “the best sister in the world and never cause trouble again” if only she gets better and doesn’t die

She wants to promise her; she won’t die, but the words die in her sore throat and she’s left coughing, which seems to only have her younger sister panic more

Her golden eyes wide and bottom lip quivering, Daniela watches as Bela is guided to lay back again, her eyes closing momentarily at the warmth surrounding her

Still, just to make sure, she allows some of her flies to rest by her sister’s head

For protection

As Bela nestles back against the many blankets around her and feels her mother’s hand stroke soothing circles against her shoulder and back to warm her up, she catches both her sisters looking at her expectantly, as though unsure what to say or do

Guilt. Love. Hope. She easily picks it up in their expressions and pose

She sends them a gentle smile, her throat aching a little as she croaks out an “it’s okay”

Daniela is the first to cuddle up when beckoned closer, by her left

She can only smile again as she feels the woman steal away some of the blankets for herself and whine for Alcina’s other hand until she too receives gentle head scratches

Cassandra stays back for a moment longer, her eyes downcast again until she too joins the pile of blankets

She doesn’t dare meet her sister’s eyes, doesn’t dare bump into her in fear of worsening the pain she’s sure she must be in

She does, however, snarl automatically in surprise when she’s yanked closer, her eyes finding other golden ones as she eventually too curls up against her sister and the blankets

Maybe, it was her fault

But maybe, it doesn’t matter now, with Bela recovering, with her forgiving her

re: the clark & damian topic - so I am a fan who doesn't ship the other bat & supes combos but does for jondami and part of the reason why is bc how the dynamics of their parents lend itself in the ship; im a sucker for childhood friends to lovers but there's something so charming about both being the sort where there's no hesitation to know and treat their partner (in heroing and in romance) as a priority. Clark as a parent, watching this dynamic evolved, worried because Damian at that age and with first impressions can be a lot-- he is a child who is processing a ton of trauma, i think at that point of time has *died* and came back; he has seen the ugly side of their world, been a part of it for so long.

But in my interpetation, Clark does pick up a few things just observing Damian: a) he's tries so hard to be good and b) he wants to be seen as useful so badly. And how can your heart NOT soften at that? I think that what would ultimately win Clark over and let Jon & Damian's friendship persist. It's that human quality and proof that goodness is a skill thats honed, empathy is a purposeful choice. Damian is sharp-tongued and clever enough to get under most people's skin, but how can a father, especially when that child is your #1 superhero friend's kid, see Damian and go like "obviously I would never ever let him around my kid"? Character precedes reputation.

I also love / hc as Damian veers into civilian life more, opting the doctor life, him finding that bond with Lois. I know Lois is currently superwoman but in this outlook, I love her presence and purpose as a civilian in Clark's stories and Dami is sooooo fascinating taking that unique path of hero -> civilian. Maybe they're in their funny little support group of sorts, though Damian would refused to admit that what it was.

Because she would be the one who know how to balance loving a Super and not being in the life that way. Them having dinners while maybe a disaster happening in the world, even if both have that instinct of wanting to be there and help. Damian is horrible at the waiting, he gets antsy, but he has that faith of his Super always coming back. Lois commiserate on the idea of what if im a burden? what if im not useful, constantly? i think it was you mention this but God is that relatable to her, daughter of Sam Lane. Like idk if you watch my adventures with superman but that Lois version and Damian would (emotionally) be similar in that case; i see doctor Damian being such a risk taker, even though he can never truly shake his bat cautiousness and Lois always being his number 1 to bat 🙂‍↕️ yes it was reckless but between the choice of doing good and doing nothing, she'd do the same too.

Also a side thought: it's so funny people harp that Clark's favorite Robin is Dick and I agree because, as canon dictates, they're friends. But I do like to think Damian has that special place because he's the Robin he knows from the perspective of being a father. And that's so different from his other experiences with the Robin. He doesn't doubt any of the robins capabilities but gosh, this is a child, his child's best friend/crush, etc. He's a little spitfire, he's prickly like a stray wanting love, and he's so deeply introspective on the nature of life + people, I have the picture of this scenario where Clark has this version of 20 questions that most Bats hate on instinct of "thats too personal" but Damian seems to really love, after the performance of "no i dont want to give my secrets". Clark is an investigative journalist with a wife that won awards, he's people savvy, he knows how to ask the right question but I like the idea of how often Damian surprises him and make him pause, in a good way and in a sad way because a LOT of those answers are windows into Damian's unique upbringing.

Or another scenario where there's a silly dilemma where Superman wants to rope Jon and Damian into an adventure thats "age appropriate" and at first both kids are whining because it's very kiddie-- helping to catch this neighbor feral and her kittens. However, as soon as Damian finds the first kitten, he locks in and by nature of competitiveness, so does Jon. I know Jon would likely not want to a cat around because of his childhood incident but the Kents fostering the kittens and feral to be barn cats at his grandparents' old farm is cute. It becomes Damian's intitial excuse to come visit often and Clark knows this. That was the round about goal, funnily enough because he would quickly understand that Damian's love of animals is one of his quirks unique for his son's Robin.

First! I'm with you when it comes to only shipping jondami when it cames to all the other super/bat ships I feel it and Two! I'm gonna plug two of my own post that I've made before that describes why I personally really like jondami as a concept cus I feel like me and you are the same when it comes to that and the other is a one shot I write about the similarities between Damian and Lois because ugh I absolutely love the idea of them bonding over the fact that they are just civilians and and they can only do so much but they do the best that they can.

And she 100% would be a support for Damian and I think he'd be one for her too in return because now she has someone who also understands what it's like to be with a super.

Love the idea of Clark taking both Jon and Damian to just do simple ground work as heroes. Especially for Damian who's so used to fast, hectic, adrenaline pumping type of hero work that for him to do some nice and simple is so good for him just to show him that "hey you don't have to just punch bad guys in the face to help the people around you, sometimes all you have to do is help a cat out of a tree and that invoke the same feeling" it's an incredibly sweet gesture when you think about it and helps give both Jon and Damian a sense of normalcy of just being kids and helping a community that doesn't always involve having to fight or putting yourself in danger.

And I agree I think Clark would find Damian quite interesting to say the least compared to all the other Robins before him. I feel like Damian with all the knowledge he was provided with growing up is very introspective and is able to have deep philosophical conversations and I also think that in return he would also ask Clark questions that Clark himself probably never thought to ask and that would also surprise him to say the least. I can see both Clark and Lois having some deep amazing conversations with Damian about certain topics and Jon just beaming at the fact that his parents and Damian are bonding with each other.

And Clark would find so many quirks about Damian that just makes so much sense for him to be Jon's robin that make him so unique lol. Damian loves animals, he makes art, knows how to play instruments, watches anime and reads romance manga, he draws comics about himself and the people around him.

Clark looks at both his son and Damian and it's just like "Yeah... they make sense together"

bf!gyuvin who treats you like a princess and is literally the winner of the kindest cutest boyfriend award every single year 🥹✋🏻

no, seriously. i feel like his language is acts of service and he would absolutely do anything for you if it is in his capabilities.

gyuvin carries a bigger sized bag so you can carry your little purse that barely fits your phone and lip gloss. he also keeps a hair tie on his wrist or has a hair claw on the strap just incase you need one while you’re on a food date together.

when you get tired from walking and your feet start to hurt from your shoes, gyuvin will guide you (maybe even carry you) by the waist so you don’t struggle as much. probably also keeps comfortable shoes for you in his car since he doesn’t expect that this is the last time it will happen.

speaking of shoes, gyuvin is constantly checking your shoelaces. when he sees that they have gone undone he’ll stop you from walking and tie them up for you.

gyuvin who always holds your hand or has a hand on your waist when you’re in a crowded place, because the last thing he’d want is to lose you.

if you and gyuvin do lose each other in a crowded space, he would definitely panic and look around for you. he’d give you a call asking where you are in the most panicked tone. you’d have to calm him down and tell him that you see him, since he’s so tall that he practically towers over everyone else in the area. god bless this man ☹️

whenever you and gyuvin get food, he always asks if you want to try some of what he ordered. he’s such a sweetheart, kindly asking you and then feeding you his food if you agree to try some. i also firmly believe that if the food is still hot, gyuvin will blow on the food so you don’t burn yourself when you take a bite.

gyuvin who always brags about you to his friends. he really can’t help it, he’s so happy to have you that he always yaps about you and your dates to his friends. they tease him simply for being a man in love and beg him to let them meet you :).

when you do meet gyuvin’s friends, it legitimately might be the funniest day of your life, and maybe the worst day for gyuvin. they tell you about some of his embarrassing moments, and you all have a good laugh about it.

Do you have a headcanon for which major each South Park (main) boy would choose to study in college?

ofc! im very excited to answer this, ive been waiting for this ask for so long 😔🤙so here we go:

What Major The South Park Characters Would Study In College:

stan strikes me as someone who would have a hard time figuring out what he really wants to pursue in life so out of all the other kids he seems more likely to study something he has no interest in, like economics or finances. which is really sad. however if we are talking about a situation where he can find something he is passionate about, stan would imo study biology or go to veterinary school, tho i can also see him dropping out or quitting his job to pursue a career in music. worst case scenario he drops out and winds up taking on the tegridy farm business :(

kyle would study psychology. can see him later getting a phd and becoming an academician. i feel like his dad would encourage him to go to law school and continue his business as a father son practice but kyle would hate the idea. honestly the only way law would be enjoyable as a headcanon is if him and cartman both go to law school and become lawyers and are constantly pitted against each other in court lol.

cartman would do amazing in business school. another option is him thriving in fields like music or law as a defense attorney but business fits him best. gotta love the evil ceo with shady deeds headcanon.

butters would also major in business, he is more than capable. i can see him and cartman two being classmates for 16 years straight lol

kenny would go into either mechanical engineering or chemical engineering. maybe biochemistry, idk. but definitely something science and research based. he is pretty inventive afterall.

here are some bonus ones while im at it:

craig seems like the type to do well at more direct subjects like maths and physics but suck at literary arts, history etc. so him studying maths or physics seems plausible to me. in a country like mine he would prefer to major in some engineering field due to lack of job opportunities.

tweek wouldn't really want go to college and would eventually take on the coffee shop family business. imo he would see collage as too much pressure

tolkien would major in chemistry. i think his mother would encourage it. my headcanon is that her mother would help him in his school work and he would grown to like science overall as he grows up.

clyde the type of dude to go to college just for the campus life and thats why he would major in something very unrelated to him like history or english literature or gastronomy aiidçtkpq0elgmy9w0q

for wendy im so torn between med and political sciences because it seems like she would want to make a change in the world and become a politician but my personal bias is wendy would go into med school because she is just that neighbour's daughter that got into med school i recognize one when i see one rjoqğktntowğqödot

im not very sure about heidi but im gonna go out on a limb and say she would study psychology just like kyle because the idea of them running into each other in a psychopathology class about personality disorders after years of not speaking to each other would be so fucking funny

ike would def study computer science

not sure on shelly but one thing i know is that she would apply for as many colleges as she can as long as they are out of state. so she would end up applying for any department without prioritizing what she wants, i dont think she would be certain. all she is certain for is that she would want to escape south park and be as far away from her family as possible.

Idk if I’ve posted about this specifically before but idc im posting again but i lately I’ve really been into the symbolism of wolf-in-sheeps-clothing and how it relates to Komaeda and Tsumiki and how they present themselves, but specifically with Tsumiki as a wolf in sheeps clothing and Komaeda as a sheep in wolves’ clothing. Not in the sense that either the wolf or the sheep half are “fake” but more “their true selves they protect vs what they show to others.”

Its not a completely perfect fit since I do think that the way Komaeda behaves right at the start of sdr2 before anything is revealed to be wrong is not a facade and is probably genuinely how he’d act in any other normal not life-or-death scenario, but Komaeda very readily shows that he is a danger, and thats how people view him and treat him and he facilitates this with his behaviours. Its only when you look close enough that you see someone cowering alone and scared.

Tsumiki from the go presents herself as timid and weak, in need of protection and unable to do anything for herself. No one has their defences up around Tsumiki and no one expects anything of her because of how pathetic she presents herself. Its only when you manage to see underneath that you see something dangerous, vicious and capable in ways you’d never have thought possible before.

Within the game, its only Hinata and Nanami that are able to see through these disguises, and further, Hinata and Nanami are the only ones to see them as both and love them anyway. And I Think Thats Just Neat.

in part two of the cbffs hoshina x reader series, hoshina mentioned reader should write him letters if there are anything reader cant say to his face and i was wondering if we could get like a moment where that happens im thinking uhh since hoshina is pretty important member of the force maybe he gets too busy/ preoccupied/ spending too much time w work and while reader understands this it doesnt mean she doesnt feel lonely sometimes… maybe add a bit of jealousy w hoshina spending alot more time w/ okonogi or whoever/ whatever scenario if thats up to ur liking and reader just gets distant?? and decides to leave a letter to hoshinas table telling how she feels as she cant say what shes feeling to his face

Vice Captain Hoshina Soshiro of the Third Division was perhaps the second most admired person in Tokyo. 

Not only that, but perhaps he's also the second most busy person in your division.

You learned about that the hard way one day when you found Soshiro conversing with one of the Operations trainees Konomi assigned to him during low-risk missions while on your way to the Captain's office. You just wrapped up from a mission yourself when you nearly walked in on him and the young but pretty girl. She had a neat look to her person and evidently took everything he said to heart, jotting down notes as he spoke to her about pointers you had no idea about. If you remembered correctly, too, she must be one of Konomi's best and brightest since she had no issue assigning her to the Vice Captain, of all people. 

"Well? Did you get all of that, Tateyama? It's a lot to consider, but Okonogi-chan thinks you're capable enough."

"Yes, boss! I-I mean sir!" The Operations trainee, Tateyama, eagerly nodded her assent as she closed her notepad and slipped it back into the pocket of her white coat. 

"Do you have any other questions?"

"D-Do you have a girlfriend, Vice Captain?!"

"I'm engaged to Platoon Leader Koganei," Soshiro replied with his usual cheer. "You must not know about it since we've just recently announced it."

"O-Oh, I see! One of our Platoon Leaders…" 

"She and I are childhood friends, too."

"Ah! And childhood friends, too!" The younger girl remarked with a look of complete surprise on her face. "How romantic!" 

You left them to their conversation after hearing just how harmless it was and decided to pay no thought to it afterwards. A young girl with a silly crush on your fiancé was nothing to feel threatened about. More than anything, it was rather flattering to know just how well-sought-after Soshiro was and that he still chose you out of all the people he could be with.

But then you realised the young girls around him may not be as harmless as you initially thought.

The young Operations trainees were taking a break from weapons calibrations when you overheard their conversation at the mess hall that afternoon. You didn't mean to, of course. You and Tae were there for a break yourselves, but something in the tone of their voices made you do a double-take.

"I can't believe you actually asked Vice Captain Hoshina if the rumours were true!" 

"I-I know! It's too bad that they were. That means he's off-limits," said the girl you recognised as Tateyama from the other day. "B-But that doesn't mean we can't daydream about him a little now, can we? He's just so cool!"

"Exactly! And he's got a cute side, too. Maybe if we show him just how good we are, he might cave in and even consider enterta—"

"Well, that's not a good w— O-Otome-chan?!"

Your fellow Platoon Leader was unable to stop you from marching towards their table, where you unceremoniously slammed down your favourite iced drink.

"P-Platoon Leader K—!" The girls hastily rose to their feet to meet your smiling yet furious gaze. "We—"

"You're… Tateyama, aren't you? The one assigned to the Vice Captain," you said, not even allowing them to speak. "And you are?"

"A-Akabane, ma'am," the other girl stammered.

"My, you must think so little of Vice Captain Hoshina if you think he'll consider entertaining little brats like you," you stated with a wicked grin on your face. "How… funny. I seem to recall the Vice Captain telling you that he was already engaged, Tateyama. But that doesn't bother you at all, does it?"

"I-I…"

"This isn't high school, children. We aren't in the business of stealing other women's boyfriends here. Even more so that he's engaged. We're all about saving lives and subjugating Kaiju here. If you're really as smart as Konomi-chan says you are, you'll know what's more important."

Captain Ashiro Mina of the Third Division, a pillar of strength and a beacon of light for the people of Tokyo, has been reduced to matchmaking duties because she's had just about enough.

Because two of her best officers were acting like idiots.

She was supportive of your relationship with Soshiro at first, but now that you were unable to coexist in the same space whenever the Vice Captain was around, she thinks it's borderline ridiculous. You couldn't even deliver reports without glaring at him wherever your eyes met! (And you admit that it's totally unprofessional on your part.) Mina is forgiving, but your situation begs the question now.

Can loving someone really fry your brain that much?

She heard about how you scolded the younger Operations trainees and even had Konomi apologising for their "brazen" behaviour, as Tae also mentioned.  

Soshiro's not-so-subtle teasing and flirting aren't helping your case, either. Everyone knew he liked throwing around little endearments, but the way he spoke to you was different— his voice hushed to a whisper and a string of endearments he'd rather not let anyone else hear—and it made sense to the rookies that you were a blubbering mess afterwards.

But they all noticed how you avoided the Vice Captain like he had the plague even though he just whispered yet another light-hearted sweet nothing to you. It was clear to them that you were annoyed, but the way your lips quivered in embarrassment gave you away and you might as well just combust on the spot.

"I'm acting like a fool…"

The final straw was when you were taking your bath late in the night. Mina realised you were purposely avoiding everyone else by volunteering to be the last one to take a bath and mop up the floors. You thought you'd be all alone by then, but you were shell-shocked by the dark silhouette that appeared behind you as you groaned to yourself. 

"C-Captain! I-It's late! Wh—"

Your Captain held her belongings in one hand while the other had a finger gun pointed at you. "You need to tell me if you're acting like a fool for a reason."

Soshiro has had just about enough of your attitude lately.

Your jealous outburst was cute when he first heard about it, but the Operations trainees wanted nothing to do with him anymore after that. And he couldn't have that happening since they had to practise analysing vitals and situations and calibrating weapons with someone. He will have to pass on the task to the Platoon Leaders, but he needed to speak with them— and you. 

You avoided him as much as you possibly could and everyone else picked up on it now because no one else spoke up whenever you two were in close proximity, as if they were waiting and anticipating for the two of you to reconcile. You didn't mention anything about leaving Tachikawa, too, since he found out earlier this week that your platoon was assigned under Ryo and Tae in the meantime.

"I gave Koganei an assignment. She's at Ariake," Mina told her Vice Captain as he inquired about your whereabouts. "She… didn't want me to tell you about it."

"Ah, I see," came Soshiro's flat response. "I apologise for draggin' the entire division in our…"

"She'll be back tomorrow. When she arrives, I'll need you two back here in my office to discuss something," she stated. "In the meantime, Hoshina, have you considered organising the files at your office?"

Letters were among the many things you and Soshiro shared, especially when you went to France to further your fencing skills. For the young man who loved to read and devoured nearly everything that had words on it, your letters to him were always a source of delight. When you were still in France, it took around 10 days for your letters to reach each other, so you always had something new to read almost every week.  

He was utterly elated when he found yet even more letters from you addressed to him, though you never sent them his way because of how candid they were. It pleased him to no end to find out that his feelings for you were reciprocated. In your letters, he could trust you to give voice to the very depths of your emotions, even more now after he told you to write to him whenever you wanted to. 

On his office desk sat a single letter in your familiar and favourite cream stationery, and it was only then he realised that his Captain's cryptic comment was meant to be a sign of sorts pointing to his most favourite means of communication with you, his most favourite person. The letter sat atop a number of document folders that had to be sorted out, but he'd figure those out later. 

"To Hoshina Soshiro-副隊長,

I suppose I'm still at headquarters by the time you find this letter. I remember you once told me that I could write to you whenever I could, whenever I wanted to, especially if there were things on my mind that I couldn't speak out loud. It's embarrassing having to write something like this, but I feel like I can be honest with you here.

It was only recently that I realised that Vice Captain Hoshina Soshiro of the Third Division is perhaps the second most admired person in Tokyo. Soshiro was nothing but happy to see you back at Tachikawa a day later, the box of Mont Blanc you promised him nearly dropped in the process when he welcomed you back with a hug. He didn't let go despite your struggling and urging and whimpering at how embarrassing this was. 

How could he let you go when you were holding him just as tight in the first place? 

You both had barely set down your salutes when your Captain welcomed you into her office with a simple declaration, an order you couldn't refuse. 

"I need you two to go on a vacation for me."

- that thing where older siblings feel a little sad when they notice how much their younger sib is growing and starting to want to be independent -> warping to -> Kuon not wanting Hoeru to leave him AT ALL

- that familial love for your sibling -> sick kind of love and obsession for hoeru. ("Hoeru's my love, my hope, my puppet" uhm! Ok!! Whatever you say Mr. Freaky!)

- Younger siblings being your responsibility. You're their teacher, their second parent, their most available guide (eldest child in an Asian household things ❤️) -> Hoeru grew up to have beliefs that dont align with Kuon's. Kuon thinks he is misguided and wrong. He's the only one that can set him right.

+ As kids, Kuon's praises and sweet touches would be like liquid gold to hoeru. Even if they have a weird relationship now, I'm pretty sure if Kuon praised him, Hoeru would feel like putty inside. It's hard to break off from old wants 🫶

+ not an HC but do you know the whole thing the mom and daughter in EEAAO had? The daughter in the "Alpha universe" was pushed to the limit to be excellent that she became a nihilist and wants to destroy the universe. She seeks out for her mom in this one universe who is awful at everything because she has the greatest potential (the whole "you suck so much that you have nowhere to go but up" thing) and is the only one capable of foiling her universe-ending plans.

The womanfailure mom = Hoeru

The powerful nihilist daughter = Kuon

Some thoughts on The Fury because im absolutely obsessed with her and still can't get over the fact how much she was expanded

Aka me rambling about how I see her chapter, whatever, idk how else to call this-

No matter how you get Fury, through Tower or Adversary, it's always circles back to her inflicting her pain on you. But is she wrong for doing that? I don't really think so

"This one is desecration. She placed the weight of her agony on you, yet it is she who unwound herself. There is passion and empathy buried under her unfeeling skin. She will make for a weathered heart."

What is desecration?

Desecration - the action of damaging or showing no respect towards something holy or very much respected

In one way or another, we do desecrate her. Or lead her in doing so to herself. In Adversery, despite there being multiple scenarios leading to Fury, we still desecrate her or lead her to desecration by denying her what she wants, what she believes we want too - a good fight. Even if it means dying over and over. To get one of her achievements, you have to kill her, even if for a brief moment. Her bloodlust, and us, the player, not satisfying it, leads to her desecration in a way. Overwhelmed with anger and agony, Fury from Adversary still thrives for combat and is, rather ecstatic if player defyingly keeps approaching her, and tries to fight her even as we're getting unwound

In terms of Tower this is more obvious. There's only one way for us to get to Fury through her - make her force her hand on us, someone she sees as something lowly. She believes herself to be an unstoppable god, something holy and sacred. And how dare we, not only, hurt and defy her authority, but also make her force her hand on us? She's arrogant and selfish, so when this happens, she feels like she was tainted. Like we - a mere mortal, nothing but a rock under her feet, tainted her very being. Overwhelmed with anger she wants to take revenge on us, for denying her ascension and turning her into Fury. She believes it's all our fault. For we tainted her flesh, for we dared to break the leash she was using on us

Either of them can end up unwounding you. Atom by atom. And when she does so, she wants to make us understand her. Her pain. Her change

"are you still there? Are you still you?"

Fury from Adversary starts to unwound us to make us continue the fight. To return the spark of bloodlust. Fury from Tower unwounds us to hurt us and destroy us. But is that what they truly want? Just our suffering and nothing else? In the endless cycle?

"What is a person? Is it their body? Is it all of their body? Pluck the eyes, peel the skin, strip the tendons, mince the meat, grind the bones. When it is all gone, do you still have who you started with?"

We changed her drastically. We changed her into this monster of flesh, only capable of pain and hurt. Only capable of unwounding and hurting and destroying and changing. But never healing. She isn't something positive. She's pain, anger, hatred

She wants us to understand how much pain we had brought upon her flesh to make her into this monstrosity. She unwounds us. She changes us in ways that makes it impossible for us to exist. Just like we did with her. She wants us to understand, yet we can't

We only feel pain from her actions. We'll never understand her. Because she can unwound us time and time again, but in the end of the day, we'll never know what she's thinking. We'll never truly know her pain. Unless we would share body and mind with her

That's why she unwounds herself as well, trying to fuse us together. She presents herself to us at her weakest, most naked form. Offering her very heart for you. To make you one. To make you truly understand. To feel what she felt. To see what she sees

But before we're able to do that, she's taken away

She found her peace once she was reunited with Shifting Mound, but even after she was, we still can't understand her, can't we?

I must admit that the idea for the AU came from a readersxSunxMoon scenarios ideas and concepts, but is open to add some interaction whit Venus.

This is because, I was no sure about what place give Venus, for a need of a more deeply knowing of her/them character and relationship, specially whit your Y/N; i decide leave them in a vague idea of a more platonic relationship, but if you want to make it more romantic, DO IT!! I admit the idea of Reader falling of a branch and Venus catches them is really cute!! (reason of the drawing jeje)

I Say is better if is a modern time.

I like the concept of Y/N having to be hide of the actual word and society; this because is the modern people know about the existence of magic capable of have, not only, some control in the flora that human get food and oxigen from, BUT, let them to FUSION technology and Flora, i belive people whit alot of power going to try find this "witch" for not only try to get the fomula of the HOW.

guu. maybe just me but it is a little sad to see so much of the madcom fandom completely bulldoze any thought for the worldbuilding of the series in favor of shipping n stuff? of course (and of course i have to say it lest we have another "piss on the poor" scenario) im all for shipping don't fuckin get me wrong. it's just that the setting itself is also so fucking interesting n there's so much to do with it. the universe has been demonstrated to function like some sort of computer and you can glitch reality if you try hard enough, (the equivalent of) human beings are MASS PRODUCED AND COMMODIFIED (need i even SUGGEST the moral ramifications??), there exists a device capable of turning the sun sentient and said sun was beaten to death without fanfare the second it came alive, nevadeans Really Do just look like that in canon!, LIKE? all of it is so fucking interesting. idk. i just love worldbuilding w all my heart so dearly n id love to see more people working out their ideas of how things in their society function/playing w speculative biology, etc etc you know?

I love the way you portray Dorkhell it's so. Oughghg. Thinking about their relationship getting better- Dirk slowly coming to trust Hal more- and it scaring her. Not because she doesn't want that, she really wants them to be Okay and for Dirk to trust her, but it's wholly untread ground for them. Also the classic Dirkism of being scared of being a bad person. Dirk has already just straight up told Hal that she's dangerous I think she'd internalize that a little bit. She knows what both she and Dirk are capable of after all

they both self-sabotage badly, i think she’d try to be better not doing the provoking negative responses from other people thing (yk as a way of striking first), but in return, idk if she’d totally understand that trying to get dirk to do things to understand shes not evil is counterproductive. but she does it bc its almost like expected of her to be up to some shit so it would be hard not to lean into that image despite not wanting to.

yeah it would fuck her up so bad if there were in a scenario where dirk trusted her with himself and she messed up. she’s human, but she doesn’t allow herself to be one.

22. What is it about watching the same two idiots falling in love over and over again?

lmao i'm interpreting this one as why do i keep writing lilia and silver platonic angst every second of the day— because their dynamic literally makes me want to hurl myself into the sun. what do you MEAN this is a 700 year old war veteran who briefly considered killing the son of his greatest enemy, only to decide to raise the child as an experiment to see if he was capable of love, WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING that said child only woke from his four hundred year slumber because this stupid fae loved him at first sight? i genuinely hate dialogue :( i'm not a particularly clever dialogue person and it's something i need to work on whereas i can wax poetic for fifty lines describing the same frame of scenery, which . . . is also something i need to work on for a different reason lmao.

i.... don't know? i'm sure you guys could tell me where im blind and i've used the same word fifty thousand times ajdrldldks i will say that it's been hilarious when i pull up rp posts from ten years ago and everyone goes yup, that reads with the same vibe as her writing now so i guess i've stayed with a consistent voice. idk, do i have a common word/expression???
