As much as I'm already enjoying hansry and as much as those two idiots are tickling my brain I kind of doubt I'll be doing anything about/for it.

Reason number one being that I'm still horribly obsessed with the facist and his serial killer situationship.

Reason two: I'm not about to pick fights with a ship that's become (deservedly) popular by completely ignoring the usual fanon tropes and letting them suffer from my artistry. I'm growing more comfortable with allowing Durge and Gortash suffer from it by the day, but I won't be subjecting the other dolts to that. Or risk having a perfectly fine ship spoiled.

#daemon's ranting #i'm not putting this in the tags for obv reasons #but i am tired of ppl projecting modern morals and stabdards on a very faithful retelling attempt of history #the issue isnt that they're bi the issue is that a bastard who won't even accept being a squire decided to fuck his lord #and bestie #its inner conflict regarding duty and desire rather than religious guilt—neither of those idiots is particularly pious #considering Godwin looks and talks like he wants to hit on Zizka though that shouldn't be a surprise #knight's banging each other? neither particularly surprising nor uncommon #a heavily traumatised individual deciding to fuck their just as badly traumatised bestie? thats ground for conflict #and whats going on here #alongside some political / social issues #tldr i love them the story so far is fantastic and theres an incredible dedication and love for detail #it feels like a proper passion project #but i'm gonna stay in my own lil corner sometimes like art or smth and thats gonna be it
