Autistic Aziraphale headcanons because we're all sad and I need something to distract myself

You read the title lol. Just my general headcanons about Aziraphale's autism because he's very autistic and Crowley is his ADHD partner (Crowley is also an autism magnet but I'll get into that some other time lmao)

Obviously he likes most human food, but I headcanon that he genuinely can't handle fast food because of how greasy it is. Like, he doesn't mind greasy food (like bacon, steak, fried chicken, foods like that) but fast food is just a whole other kind of greasy and he can't stand it

He loves the texture of his clothes. Those are absolutely comforting to him when he gets too stressed and/or overstimulated (they also just make him very happy in general)

Crepes and sushi are his main safe foods (I will die on this hill)

When he's overstimulated he does become very touch averse depending on the situation

For example: In a large, loud, and crowded area, he wants absolutely no touch other than maybe a pinkie link with Crowley

However, when he touches something with a Bad Texture, he immediately goes to hug or touch Crowley in some way to get rid of the feeling

It's basically canon that he's the Doesn't Know When To Stop Talking Autistic

And while everyone around him (*cough* Heaven *cough*) finds it annoying and absolutely hates it, Crowley loves it and could listen to him ramble on about the stupidest things for hours. Obviously he'll tease him for it though

His special interest is either books or humans in general. I can't decide which one I like more and both are very plausible

He has so many things that he's gathered throughout the centuries for stimming purposes

He also will lightly flap his wings while he's reading, but no one can see that (In a human AU the equivilant of that would be either wiggling his nose or ears while he reads)

He gets so hyperfocused on reading and will stay up for weeks just reading and reading. The other shopkeepers get worried and try to get him to sleep but they won't take "I don't need sleep. I've been drinking coffee all day," as an excuse, and Aziraphale can't exactly explain to them that he's an immortal being that doesn't require sleep

That being said, he does enjoy wrapping himself in layers and layers of blankets

When he found out about weighted blankets he went wild

He has a lot of trouble understanding and remembering human expressions, which is why he talks more like someone from the 1920s (plus, that era's expressions just give him happy feels)

Just had someone tell me that Marinette telling Chloe and Audrey that they should bond over being toxic and entitled was okay because she was being sarcastic, and I just gotta say..... no? that doesn't make it better??

Thankfully this person was pretty civil, and open to having an actual conversation about that scene, and by the end of it we came to agree on some things.

But I still wanna blog about it, because I have a lot of feelings.

Even if Marinette was saying it to be ironic, which still isn't an interpretation that I'm fully on board with, but for the sake of argument, even if she was, that's still a horrible thing to say given the circumstances!

Marinette doesn't have to like Chloe, but if her first reaction to seeing a girl her age on the verge of tears while she asks her mother "Why don't you love me?" is to have a laugh and say "Well, you both suck, so you should be glad to be stuck together!" then that is terrible, and petty, and vicious!

If for some reason you wanna have Marinette banter with Chloe about it, at least wait until she isn't in the most vulnerable position possible, baring her deepest trauma while confronting her abuser.

Either way you slice it, Marinette had no right to say what she did! She was either giving harmful advice that she wasn't qualified to give, or she was being downright cruel.

Alrighty, let's get cat vin outta the way.

Vincent is now a cat dad. He saw this stray purple cat, thought "omg me too," and wasted no time in adopting him. His name? Vincent Jr.

Very creative.

Like Vincent, Vincent Jr is immortal and can regenerate regardless the severity of the injury.

Vin Jr is basically a cryptid. A liquid cat, if you will. Infinite length - the biggest of streches.

Vin Jr is a nuisance, but friendly and playful. He loves Vincent's partners and his partners love him too.

Of course, since Vin and Vin Jr are immortal, this means that even after the sun explodes, they're still alive. Assuming humans haven't actually traveled to other planets or galaxies, they're kinda just stuck.

Now, the oc. Please welcome Void.

Void is a reoccurring character in various fandoms my friend and I are in. It's basically the afterlife. We didn't want to commit to a certain religion or a certain belief, so we settled with a place where everyone goes, regardless of what they did when they were alive.

As a hint to how the underworld looks like, think of the End City in MineCraft. A vast and infinite place, with islands and lives spread out far and wide from each other. People are either alone, in clusters of small towns/mini cities, or with the company of one or two other people.

This being said, the Void is a conscious being - hence the personification above. It's almost like the grim reaper. It places people together based on when they were alive - if they had good relationships with family or friends, the more likely they will be placed with their family and friends once they pass.

What this means for the FNaF setting is hard to explain.

The void is a very calm and passive place - it's like there's a blanket of gloom and peace over the realm. Spirits with intense emotions are much more difficult to bring into the void since they're harder to subdue- hence why the missing kids are still lingering about.

At some point they do rest, but that's in the future.

The reason Void interacts with Vincent (billions of years into the future) is because Vincent isn't dead. Y'know, immortality isn't normal. Out of curiosity, Void decides fuck it, might as well talk and figure this shit out.

Vincent is the first person Void has ever directly spoken to. Although Void is focused on bringing people to the underworld, it doesn't ever talk or interact with any of the dead. Just exists, watching over everything and making sure everything is going accordingly.

Anyways, yadda yadda yadda, Vincent and Void grow attached, they're both forever immortal so they can always give each other company, whatever whatever.

Void uses it/its/itself pronouns and can shapeshift into whatever form it wants.

Vin Jr is the first cat that Void has ever interacted with. Void cherishes and adores him very much.

Ya know despite it being a cosplay, I actually ADORE Amity's dress at the end of Thanks to Them and throughout For the Future. I think it looks so pretty on her with her hair. It just goes so well with her to be honest. I love the silhouette. The skirt is everything, and the off the shoulder neckline and the puffy sleeves- it just looks so PRETTY on her.

And I actually think Luz's Azura outfit fits her so well. I love that it's come full circle and she now has a witch hat, too. She's back in her original colors too, she's got the purple and white going on. And it makes her look so much more mature, despite it being, ya know, a costume. I think it's really reflective of her growth.

Also can we talk about how her Azura costume, beyond the basic colors and the hat, doesn't actually look very book accurate? Like it's SO much more fitting of Luz's personal style than the actual Azura costume. Compare the good witch Azura outfit in the very first episode of s1 to the one Luz is wearing. You'll see what I mean. I absolutely adore it.
