#noragami#maybe im huffing the most incredible hopium/copium mixture imaginable#but i genuinely don't feel threatened by this chapter#i don't think hiyori's death will stick and none of this will be real#or her soul will somehow be brought back from the far shore#like this series has the living and dead FULL ON seeing and interacting with each other now#ridiculous supernatural feats like resurrection are possible now cuz noragami has completely eroded the barrier between life and death#i'd even TENTATIVELY assert the possibility that adachitoka are about to announce a sequel after noragami just to explore this new reality#im not complaining btw#i think the direction all this is going in is fascinating tragedy aside#but i'd to say i think adachitoka is moving the series' storytelling away from the somewhat grounded present-day reality#into a more fantastic unreality in the sense that noragami is turning into a classical japanese mythology story#noragami spoilers
