( Ooc: We've seen some of Tiresias’ nymph traditions, now get ready for a bit of Odysseus’ siren habits! )

Odysseus was laid on his back in front of the prophet, his head resting on their lap while he idly fidgeted with one of Tiresias’ hands. The siren curled and parted their fingers, scratching the back of their hand, and even counted little creases within the prophet's palm.

They enjoyed times like this; simply relaxing and existing within the same space. There was no need to fill the silence with words or make a sound. It wasn't tense like that hanging need to force a conversation with a stranger to avoid feeling awkward.

As time passed, the siren seemed to narrow their gaze and slow down. Without a thought, Odysseus pulled Tiresias’ hand closer and bit down on it.

[ the prophet hummed a nymph lullaby in the blank space as their friend fidgeted their hand, playing with all the movement it could do. They would pause sometimes to smile, laugh, tease or kiss them gently, but they always came back to the same song ]

[ it was nice in moments like these where no words had to be spoken and no thoughts had to roam. It was peaceful and tender ]

[ alas, perhaps a quarter way through their next song, Tir winced, sighing out in minor pain as their friend pulled their hand down to bite into it ]

[ they gave them a look they could not see before audibly questioning them ]

“Love? Are you hungry? Do you need something? Can I get you anything? Or did your curiosity simply get the better of you and you wanted to see how I taste?”

My god I WISH!!!! But I’m on vacation right now.

I have this Buddie fic I’ve got to finish up then I have a plan for a wee little Bucktommy fic that I’m going to try and get out before my next big project.
