I'm not sure how to articulate it but it's interesting to me that the two people responsible for pulling the strings of most of the cultivation world are notably weak cultivators
#mdzs#idk what to make of it but it's interesting#both nhs and jgy formed cores late#and were not strong cultivators at the same level as like. the twin jades or nmj or whatever#but in the end it wasn't cultivation that mattered#but rather their ability to understand what makes people tick#and how to nudge them in the directions they want#in a weird way it makes me think of mob psycho#and how strong psychics struggle to understand people bc theyre so caught up in their psychic powers#which means that in delicate situations it's non-psychics that are more skilled#i mean the vibe is VERY different in mdzs#but it still feels similar#you could maybe make an argument that it's THREE people with weak cores that are messing with the cultivation world#since wwx's core situation is uh. complicated.#but i wouldnt count him quite as much bc he was a strong cultivator at one point
