sometimes ill jsut reread all of lauras quest dialogue for the millionth time and out loud go "wow those women were literally in love..."
#like ok Obviously it comes across as a little onesided bc No Emotions Lol#but i think shanoa asking laura about her love life that one time#+ the whole implication of how laura spends all that time hoping to see her smile coupled with the Literal Ending Of The Fucking Game#where shanoa finally smiles and its this huge moment#thats gotta be somewhat deliberate. or at least ill read it that way#ALSO ALSO when you finish lauras last quest and shanoa says that she cant stir her absent heart she uses the character portrait mostly-#-reserved for Shanoa Angst Moments rather than using her default expression. indicating a sort of apologetic tone#and every time laura implies shanoas unhappiness is some fault of her jewelry not being good enough#shanoa always assures her that its not her fault#i think when shanoa regains her emotions all the feelings that had been repressed will catch up to her#and she realizes just how much laura had meant to her... how much she meant to laura... Aaaaaaaa#like i think she would have feelings for laura theyre just trapped in an unreachable place#the glimmer of light trapped in the darkness or whatever it was albus said#tl;dr wow those women were literally in love...
