hey guys this is Yandere-Daydreams’ parental guardian/friend. unfortunately Daydreams died in a workplace fire & was seen furiously typing something on Tumblr.com on their as the flames engulfed them. the funeral is Friday.

i am safe and outdoors!!! and evacuated all potential kindling prior to opening tumblr!!! i would actually rather be engulfed in flame tho bc the alternative is kinda just waiting around to see if this was, like, a fire fire or just a weird combination of cleaning products and guessing whether or not i'm going to get paid if the building goes down. a fate worse than death arguably.

#for context i work in a library #so the alarm system is super sensitive to any kind of smoke/chemical fumes #meaning that there is a very good chance someone just like #lit a candle #but i suffer nonetheless #personal #anon ask

I tried to get no lines to cross for like 5 hours (not an exaggeration) but then I gave up because I have better things to do.

the cover i commissioned for my book is almost finished... this feels so surreal.

#i cannot overstate how much painstaking effort i've put toward completing this novel over the course of like... basically a decade now.#the first in a very long-winded series but a monumental achievement nonetheless. and it'll be released THIS YEAR.#blazing through these final edits so by the time the cover art is finished i can start planning its debut.#there is literally nothing that i am more passionate about in this world than my art.#when i suggest that writing this book has saved my life that is by no means an exaggeration.#fame means little to me as does monetary value i just want to share what i love with others #after suffering a lifetime of isolation and ostracization #so i really hope you all will stay tuned. <3 #riley rambles #once it's finished i'll be working on finalizing the official page too! so look forward to that if you want to learn more.

dont you ever think about how andersen is actually always in pain bc of the innocent monster affliction on his body. the merman scales, match burns, and frostbite ... even speaking can be a bit hard at times but all he can do is endure it bc its the curse he has to bear, even if he hates every second of it

I love Nicolas and I know he's not the main character but it's so so sad that he's good and has suffered approximately as much as Betty and yet he had the bad luck of falling for someone as unreachable as Don Armando but not as good as him. I do plan on it yes! I've been making progress on chapter 15 the past week or so actually which has been really nice. I know it's been a long time so I appreciate people still being interested in it. hopefully you'll like it but also, it's the ending I always wanted from them right from when I started, it's just taken me a long time to get there. life gets in the way sometimes I suppose
