who are your favourite kpop groups if you don't mind me asking!

i casually like a lot of groups i’m not picky, if they have bangers i’ll listen! when i first got into kpop back in 2015 i was really into 4minute, red velvet, mamamoo, exo, and got7. then my ult group for a long time was bts, but they really fell off for me around 2020 when i feel like their music starting really pandering to western style pop which is not my favorite for them (musically they peaked in 2016-2018 imo). lately i’ve been listening to a lot of nmixx, aespa, and le sserafim. musically i tend to enjoy girl groups more than boy groups, but i’m a big fan of ateez discography.

as far as groups i would say i currently stan (tho definitely not as hardcore into kpop as i used to be)… stray kids, dreamcatcher, twice, a.c.e, and p1harmony

my current favorite group is actually a band (xdinary heroes). they’re fr generational talents and their discography is so unique, they have such a cool sound and i love the way they blend different sub genres within the umbrella of rock to create so much musical variety on every album but it still always sounds like them. everyone go listen to their new single iNSTEAD! if you like heavy rock 🫡
