Bitter old man Bumblebee from early exRID was such a genius characterization choice especially when later he goes back to act like his chipper self when he's not being crushed under the weight of post-war leadership, trying to keep everyone in the planet from killing each other while trying (and failing) to stick to his values and also no one listens to him. He was so out of his element he withered.

#also i know the reason mtmte roddy is a completely different character from his phase 1 self #is because jro was doing his own thing #but i love indulging in my rodibee parallels so if you allow me #there's something to be said about how rodimus at this disappointment and lack of purpose started projecting a more immature personality #while bee under all that responsibility turned like that #quetzal rambles tf
