nothing's gonna hurt you baby || joe burrow x reader
description: the first game of the season doesn't go as planned and it kills you to see joe like this. you can't help but feel deja vu...
a/n: ahem, is this thing on 🎤🎤. i'm backkkkk… after a much-needed tiny break (not planned just life getting in the way). this is a little something i cooked up! still working on "taste" which is a slow work in progress but that's the main next fic that'll be coming soon!
as always, thanks for reading & showing love :)))) i hope this wasn’t too much yapping and nonsense lol. the smut isnt my best because i wrote it while i was half asleep but i hope you enjoy it. there’s also plenty of song references throughout the fic (biggest one and the inspiration being this CAS song)
warnings: angst, fluff, smut. that's literally the whole fic :)
word count: 12.2 k
---------------------------------------------------------
You leaned back against the wall across from the entrance to the locker rooms, anxiously picking at a thumbnail on your finger as you waited for your boyfriend to come out so you two could go home. You were standing in your orange halter crop top with a little '9' embroidered on the bottom left side and matching white jean shorts with the same '9' embroidered in orange on the back right pocket. The '9' on your shorts was a little bigger than the one on your top which Joe loved because according to him ‘everyone knows who your ass belongs to’. His adorable possessive nature was always something you admired and appreciated. He was very secure in your relationship and knew nobody would take you from him, but that didn't stop him from ensuring everyone knew you were his at any chance he got.
You were also wearing orange stiletto knee-high boots which adds to the overall orange vibe of your game-day outfit. The theme was 'open in orange' so you were wearing as much orange as you could possibly make look cute. Your '9' necklace was the only piece of jewelry you had around your neck, and your wrists were decked out with bracelets given to you by Joe–each one even more polished and expensive than the previous one, and various rings on your fingers. Your favorite one, the beautiful promise ring Joe gave you for your 2nd anniversary, shined brighter than any of the jewelry you had on. It was a ‘secret garden’ inspired ring, one of your favorite books of all time.
There was a growing pit in your stomach as you stood there gazing at the large ‘B’ on the wall outside the locker room, a slow-burning sensation that started about two minutes into the game, and it was only getting bigger as the minutes passed by. By the end of the game, you were the most on edge you had ever been in your entire life.
Since this was Joe's first real game back after his wrist injury, your anxiety was already pretty bad by the time you got to the stadium. Your brain was swarmed with 'what-if?' scenarios and it was eating you alive. Joe, however, seemed the exact opposite of you. He was completely calm, normal, and focused like this was any other game. His peaceful temperament wasn't surprising since he had always been like this before every game but it also should've been expected since he worked through most of his emotions with you the night before and didn’t have anything left to get out. You on the other hand did a complete 360; you were so calm with him last night but right now you were on the verge of ripping your eyelashes out.
Flashback to the night before
You reached over to grab your glass of water, taking a big sip to help wash down the spicy chicken you were eating for dinner. You looked up at Joe as you were swallowing your water, noting how he was playing around with his food on his unusually full plate. You had been eating for almost 15 minutes and by now, his plate should be empty given how much of an animal he was once dinner rolled around.
“Not hungry?” you broke the unusual silence and asked.
Joe's eyes glanced up to meet yours, his cheeks burning because you took note of his behavior, which you weren't supposed to. “Uhh, not really,” he sighed as he placed his fork down and leaned back in his chair, his sweaty hands sliding up and down his thighs out of nervousness.
“You do know you have a game tomorrow, right?” you chuckled as you placed your fork down and leaned back in your chair like he was. “You need all the protein you can get,”.
“...Y- yeah, I know,” Joe mumbled after a few seconds of uneasy silence.
You instantly noticed the change in his body language at the mention of the game; the way his eyes fell down to his lap after his mumbling response, the way he started bouncing his left leg, his shoulders tensing up a little bit, the way he was constantly doing something with his hands as if he was uncomfortable, the way he was chewing at his bottom lip. These were all things Joe did when he was feeling anxious.
But why was he anxious?
“Hey, you okay?” you asked while leaning forward again, his body language making you worry.
“Yeah, I'm fine,” he swallowed, still not meeting your eyes. He knew all it took was for you to get one look at his eyes to figure out he was lying and he really didn't want to burden you with his complicated emotions tonight.
“He’s lying,” you thought to yourself. The fact that he was avoiding eye contact with you was a dead giveaway. “Joe?” you said while lowering your head to get into his view.
“Yeah?” he said, his voice slightly trembling as he finally looked into your eyes.
“Why are you lying to me?” you said as your face dropped at the sight of his tired eyes and shaky voice.
“I’m not ly-,” he began to say before you interrupted him.
“Yeah, you are,” you interrupted. “I know you, remember. I know you better than you know yourself,” you softly laughed.
You weren’t wrong there, you did know Joe better than he knew himself and he was the first one to admit it. You knew exactly what he was thinking, exactly how to put his feelings into words even when he couldn’t do so himself, and exactly how to handle him. There was a reason why you were the only person he let into the bubble that he had around himself once football started back up. You were his shelter in the hurricane that became his life once he was back on the field and without you, Joe would be a mess.
Your response earned no reaction from Joe, he just sat there in silence and continued to bounce his leg up and down as he started to play with the wristbands on his wrist, yet another anxiety-related mannerism.
You let out a tired breath, “I’m not doing this, I can’t have him shut me out again,” you thought to yourself before scooting your chair back, walking around the dining table, and sitting down on the seat next to him. You turned your chair to face him and grabbed his hands, feeling the thin layer of sweat that coated his palms which made your heart hurt.
“Joe, it’s just us right now. Nothing’s gonna hurt you baby, talk to me,” you said while giving his hands a soft squeeze. You were feeling deja vu right now, you found yourself in the same situation you found yourself in many times over the early months of the off-season, only then it was 10 times worse than it was right now.
Joe looked into your eyes, his body feeling heavy as self-doubt, anxiety, and fear crept into his mind. He was nervous about tomorrow’s game. Joe had never been nervous about a game like this and you were sitting in front of him, trying to get him to talk which you shouldn’t need to ‘try’ to do, he should be openly talking to you right now about his feelings. He always let you into the bubble, so why was it so hard for him to do it right now?
He realized that he was shutting down again, just like he had when he first got injured back in November. He didn’t want to go back to that dark place again, especially since coming out of it was a struggle that affected you both very badly. “I’m scared,” he choked out a few seconds later, trying his best to push through the wall he was unknowingly building again.
“Why?” you quietly asked as you felt your heart shatter because of the tone of his voice. You hated seeing him like this, it broke your heart to see him like this. You moved your hand up to cup his neck, the pads of your fingers were softly rubbing his tan skin which was a gentle action that you knew would calm him down.
“It’s my first game back from injury. An injury that could’ve easily ended my career. It should’ve ended my career,” he said while lifting his hand to wipe a stray tear from his eye.
“But it didn’t,” you smiled. “It didn’t end your career then and it won’t end your career now,”.
“How do you know that? I haven’t played in a real game since November. I haven’t gotten hit yet, I haven’t gotten sacked yet, and I haven’t been putting that much pressure on my hand. Tomorrow could easily be the last game of my career. Just one wrong move and-,”.
“No.” you interrupted. “You’re not doing that. Not on my watch,” you sternly said, trying to prevent him from getting too far inside his head about everything. Overthinking was his worst enemy.
“I’m being realistic, Y/N. Who knows if I’ll be the same Joe I was before,” he said while blinking away a few tears.
“You don’t need to be the same Joe you were before,” you soothed while continuing to rub his neck. “What you went through was unlike anything anyone has seen before, if people are expecting you to get right back to where you left off then they have no heart or brains. You’ll get to where you need to be, I promise. Things like this take time,” you added. “The Joe you are now is more than enough. You have grown in many ways that you might not have been able to unless you went through what you went through after November. You’ve worked on yourself and become more open, honest, and loose. You’ve put in the work on the field, in the weight room, in training, and even at home. You’re coming out of this a better person and a better player. A better Joe,”.
“I just don’t want to let anyone down. What if we lose tomorrow? With the slow start narrative getting louder and the aftermath of my wrist injury, this could be really fucked. This year is so important and I just don’t want to let anyone down; the organization, the team, the public, you,” he continued, his grip on your other hand becoming tighter. “I know I have a chip on my shoulder and have a lot to prove this year, but the thought of people not seeing that is killing me,”.
“You won’t let anyone down, Joe. And you could never ever fucking let me down, never say that again,” you said as you continued to rub his neck, seeing that he was getting more loose from your touch. “You’ve worked so so hard the past 10 months to get back to where you want to be and everyone and I mean everyone has seen that. I’ve seen that. Adversity always makes you better, it ignites that fire inside of you. That fire makes you who you are,” you said to him, feeling a little more comfortable yourself after seeing his body relax a bit. “Remember who you are. You’re Joe Burrow. Heisman winner, College Football National Champion, the first overall draft pick, one of the Top 5 quarterbacks in the league, one of the highest-paid quarterbacks, Ohio’s golden boy. You’re all of those things for a reason, Joe. You have it in you. You don’t need to be afraid or doubt yourself because you did all of those things, nobody else, just you,”.
You moved your hand over and wiped the tears that slowly were sliding down his cheeks before feeling Joe grab your hand and press a wet kiss to your palm. “I love you,” he sniffled. “I genuinely don’t know what I would do without you,”.
“I love you too,” you smiled before you leaned up to kiss his forehead. “Tomorrow is unpredictable, I will admit. But you control the narrative. You control what happens and what doesn’t happen out there. It’s just you and the football like it always has been. I know you and I know you’re going to kill it,”.
Joe gave you a small nod as he let your words sit inside of his head; you were right and he knew you were right. He did all of this himself, he single-handedly built his reputation and although there was an immense amount of pressure on him to maintain it, he knew that it was his reputation. He had control over his story, not anyone else. He didn’t need to work at anyone else’s speed except for his own. He knows the narrative that the media has been running with since November, that his career has been hindered by continuous injuries and he’s ’injury prone’. He knows what that title has done to the public's opinion on his career and rank as a player, but they don’t get to define him based on what they think. He is defined by everything he does himself.
It’s not their story, it’s his.
He reached out and placed his hand on your waist, gently pulling you from your chair and into his lap. You instantly looped your arms around his neck and pushed his head to the crook of your neck, this warm hug from you was the final thing he needed to fully calm his nerves. “You always know what to say to me,” he mumbled against your collarbone as you ran your fingers through his slightly grown-out frosted tips, his hands softly massaging your plush skin.
“It’s my job,” you chuckled. “I signed up for this when I met you at that football practice all those years ago and I plan on staying true to what I signed up for as long as I can,” you added before you dropped a kiss on his cheek, your mind calming down once you felt him relax against you.
“You better plan on it. I’m not letting you go anywhere,” he said as he pulled you in tighter.
“Well it’s a good thing I don’t want to go anywhere,” you giggled in his ear before pressing a kiss to it, then turning back to serious to finish off your little pep-talk. “I’m so proud of you, Joe. More than you’ll ever know. You’re truly the hardest working man I’ve ever met and you continue to amaze me with your dedication and determination every single day. Never think that you’re not good enough and you’re not who everyone thinks you are. You’re Joe Fucking Burrow. Never forget that,”.
“I won’t,” he sighed contently, finally at peace. “I won’t forget,” he said again before he pulled you closer and closed his eyes, getting lost in your palliative embrace.
End of flashback
You were so calm last night and now you were the complete opposite; you couldn’t figure out where and when things went south with your emotions. During the game, your brain was running a mile a minute as you thought of everything that could go wrong: Joe re-aggravating his injury, someone else on the team getting badly injured, and the team not being able to beat the slow start narrative. You were anxious, nervous, and deeply scared once the first quarter of the game started, and your feelings were validated when two minutes into the game Joe got sacked and fumbled the ball.
You remember your heart stopping once you saw him go down as this was the first time he had been hit since November.
“No!” you screamed as you shot up from your seat, your hand gripping the necklace around your neck as you looked down on the field and saw a bunch of large behemoths on top of him. “No, No, No,” you panicked as your breaths got shorter, your anxiety getting worse and worse as you saw flashbacks from the Ravens game in November. “Please be okay,” you thought to yourself as you were on the verge of tears.
Then you remember your heart dropping to your feet once you saw the ball come loose and even though he recovered it, this whole play left a bitter taste in your mouth since it was literally the first few minutes of the game and things were already not going as planned. Luckily, his going down didn’t seem to affect his wrist, but you could only imagine how it affected him mentally.
You thought that would’ve been the only sack of the game, but once again you were wrong. Each time Joe went down, you felt your heart stop. Each time he ran, your heart stopped again as you got flashbacks from early last year with his calf injury. Each time the camera panned to the sidelines and focused in on him, you felt like crying because you could tell the way the game was going was eating away at him by his facial expressions.
Every sack, every fumble, every drive that ended without scoring, and every turnover was killing you because the things Joe feared were happening even though you told him they wouldn’t. Seeing him flex his wrist on the sidelines and in between plays was the one thing that really did it for you. You didn’t know if this was just to keep his hand loose because he was feeling some tightness or whether this was because something was actually bothering him, your brain was in panic mode for the rest of the game.
“I hope he’s okay, that was ugly,” you thought to yourself before you jumped at the sound of the locker room door swinging open and snapping you out of your daze.
You watched as Joe walked out of the locker room, his eyes exhausted and defeated as he gave you a small ‘reassuring’ smile, however, it wasn’t very reassuring because his eyes gave his true feelings away in an instant.
You returned his smile with a smile of your own, opening your mouth to ask him if he was okay but before you could he leaned forward and dropped a kiss on your lips. He held it for a few moments as he melted into your touch which was the only relieving feeling he had felt all day before pulling away, entwining your pinkies, and leading you out to the car.
“That’s not good, he’s never this quiet when I come to meet him after the game,” you thought to yourself. If you didn’t say something first, he almost always did, but he wasn’t saying anything which was concerning. You stayed quiet as he led you out to the garage, your eyes not leaving his weary face for one second. You could tell he wasn’t okay, you could tell he was beating himself up over today’s loss.
A few moments later, he led you over to the passenger’s side of the car, an unusual move since you always drove the both of you home after a game. “I thought I was driving,” you gently said as you looked up at him.
“I got it,” he said with no emotion in his voice, dropping your pinky and looking into your eyes with his now cold and emotionless ones.
“But Joe I-,” you began to say but before you could finish your sentence he turned around and walked to the other side of the car.
“He definitely heard me,” you thought to yourself as you watched him open the backseat door and roughly throw his bag in, then slammed the door shut with a little more force than usual which startled you.
You let out a deep breath before opening your door and sliding into the passenger seat, your body stiff and frozen because of the way he was acting. You were scared to say something, scared to do something because you didn’t know what reaction you’d get from him, “He’s not doing this again, right?” you worried.
10 minutes into the drive home, you started getting agitated. He had yet to say anything to you, not even asking you if you were cold and if he should turn down the AC which he always asked you whenever you were in the car since he knew you got cold easily. His hands were gripping the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles were practically turning white and his eyes were so locked in on the road in front of you that he hadn’t even noticed that you started shivering a little bit.
“Are you okay?” you finally broke the tension and asked, your bottom lip in between your teeth out of nervousness. Joe rarely ever raised his voice at you or got irritated by you saying something to him, but that didn’t stop you from getting nervous around him whenever he was acting like this.
You saw his jaw clench for a brief moment, your heart skipping a beat as you braced yourself for a potentially explosive reaction, but then you saw him unclench it. “I’m fine,” he said, once again with no emotion in his voice.
You gave him a small nod and then a few seconds later asked another question since he wasn’t budging, “How’s your wrist?”.
He let out a sigh, one that you could hear from his nose so it was definitely coming from a tired place, “It’s fine,” he said again, not giving you much to work with.
“He’s not fine, lying yet again. Maybe I could make him laugh? I need to do something to get him to loosen up” you thought to yourself, your brain scrambling to think of something to make him laugh even if it was for a brief moment.
“At least you guys scored a touchdown this time,” you smiled a few seconds later. “Even though you didn’t win the game, I’d say it was better than week 1 last year against the browns,”.
You studied his face carefully after you finished your sentence, searching for any tiny muscle movement that resulted in his lips curling up into a smile, but nothing. “Yeah,” he nodded, once again with no emotion. He then reached over to the center console, turning the knob for the volume up so that the once softly playing music was blasting throughout the car.
You felt your lip quiver and your eyes started to pool with tears as you continued to look at him, praying that he would look at you for even one brief moment, but he didn’t. “He’s doing it again,” you thought to yourself as you fell back into your seat. “He’s fucking doing it again. Just like he did after he got injured. He’s shutting me out,” you thought as you felt a tear slide down your cheek, your head turning away so that you were looking out the window so if Joe did happen to look over at you, he wouldn’t notice your silent tears.
Joe did look over at you. He was waiting for you to stop looking at him because he couldn’t look into your eyes right now, not when his brain was all over the place and he could regret the things that potentially came out of his mouth. He looked over at you when he saw you turn your head to the window from the corner of his eyes, his eyes softening when he saw your body shaking. You were cold. He always asks you if you’re cold, and this time he didn’t.
“I fuck everything up,” he muttered under his breath as he reached over to turn the AC down.
30 minutes later
After a car ride filled with deafening silence, you made it back home a half hour later and were pouring two glasses of water for you and Joe. He was sitting at the kitchen island behind you scrolling on his phone, still quiet as ever. You grabbed his glass and placed it in front of him, getting a peek at what he was looking at on his phone.
Media reactions.
Joe never looked at what the internet was saying about a game after it happened, it was one of his ‘blocking outside noise’ methods, so why was he looking at them?
“You really shouldn’t be looking at all that bullshit,” you said to him as you took a small sip of your water, the cool liquid feeling like a quiet unraveling of tightness within your body.
Joe was so focused on his phone that he didn’t notice that you were talking to him, the only things that he could hear were the voices of reporters talking about the team’s constant slow starts, his poor performance–saying that he played scared, rusty, and didn’t look like himself and that this team is constantly setting itself up for failure.
A video came up on his phone, an analyst was talking about his performance in today’s game, “We have to talk about Joe Burrow. He said he was ready, he said he felt great, and he said that this team was ready. But did that Cincinnati Bengals team that played against the Patriots today look ready? Absolutely not. Did the Joe Burrow who stepped out onto that field look ready? Absolutely Not. He looked scared, he didn’t look like himself. The lack of Deep Balls, the lack of throwing down the field. That’s not the Joe Burrow we’ve seen in years past. What’s truly going on in Cincinnati? Is there a deeper issue within that we aren’t seeing?”.
“They see right through me,” Joe thought to himself, feeling his eyes sting from the hot tears that were threatening to come out. He felt like the room was on fire, and there was invisible smoke. Nobody could really see what he was going through, all they saw was the burning room.
You felt your heart drop as you heard the reporter talk about Joe’s performance in today’s game, knowing that Joe was probably already criticizing himself and this was going to make it worse. “Joe?” you said a little louder, snapping him out of the dark haze he was stuck in.
“Hm?” he hummed as he looked up at you, noticing your pursed lips and worried eyes.
“Are you okay?” you asked again, feeling uneasy from the look he had on his face.
“...I said I’m fine,” he replied, his voice a little rougher than earlier.
You shook your head, “I know you’re not fine. Stop lying to me,” you said with a more rigid tone.
“I’m not lying to you. I said I’m fine. I don’t think it could be more simpler than that,” he rolled his eyes as he picked up his glass of water, taking a big sip.
“If you are really ‘fine’,” you say, making air quotes around ‘fine’, “Why are you looking at all that bullshit? You never look at any of that because you say it messes with your head,” you say.
“Because I can?” he scoffs, standing up from the barstool and walking around the island to place his water glass in the sink.
You take a deep breath, trying not to point out his snappy attitude because you know he isn’t in the right headspace right now. “Joe, seriously. I know you’re not fine but it’s just me. You can talk to me,” you gently say as you walk over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder but he quickly turns around and walks back over to where he was sitting to grab his phone which made your hand drop from his shoulder.
“I know you had a shitty game, I know you’re in your head about it, I get it. Trust me I do, but just let me-,” you begin to say as you walk over to him before he interrupts you.
“Do you though?” he asks. “Do you really get it? Sweet talking and hugs don’t magically make everything better, Y/N,” he says, his voice a little louder.
“Ouch.” you thought to yourself. “No. Remember, he’s not in the right headspace, Y/N. He’s not trying to be hurtful,”.
“I’m not saying that,” you say to him. “I know that doesn’t make everything better but talking to someone about your feelings does. You know that. You spent weeks working on that, remember?” referring to the therapy sessions he had this past off-season to work through the emotional and mental effects of his injury and just overall mental health.
“I know, but I said I’m fine. I don’t need to talk about anything, especially with you,” he said, his words feeling like a punch to your gut.
“Okay, what the fuck?” you thought to yourself. “What do you mean ‘especially’ with me?” you asked, your tone switching from gentle to slightly angry.
Joe stays quiet for a few seconds, his gaze fixed on the concerned look on your face. He knew what he was saying to you was most likely hurting you and you were coming from a place of worry, but he couldn’t control the things that were leaving his mouth right now. “I’m not doing this with you right now,” he shook his head and turned around, walking over to the stairs.
“Doing what?” you said loudly, following him over to the stairs. “I’m just trying to get you to talk to me but you’re making this a bigger deal than it needs to be,”.
“How am I making this a bigger deal?” he grumbles, turning around to look at you. “You’re the one that won’t leave me alone. I’ve said that I’m fine to you like 5 times now,”.
“You’re making this a bigger deal because you’re shutting me out, again,” you say, feeling your cheeks burn with anger, frustration, and sadness. You and Joe hardly fought, and whenever you did, it broke both of you. You felt like absolute shit right now and you couldn’t even imagine how Joe was feeling.
“No, I’m not. You’re being unbelievable right now,” he rolled his eyes again and started walking up the stairs with you hot on his tail.
“No, I’m not,” you say, echoing his words. “You are shutting me out just like you did after your wrist injury. What happened to letting me in your bubble? Because right now it feels like I’m being pushed 100 feet from your bubble for no reason,” you said, your voice a little shaky as you tried to hold back your building tears.
“I’m not shutting you out, Y/N,” he said loudly, his voice even more rougher. “Just because I don’t want to talk to you about how shitty I did today doesn’t mean I’m shutting you out. I just don’t want or feel the need to talk to you about it,”.
“See, you aren’t okay. I knew you weren’t okay. You know you played like shit so you’re clearly not fine,” you huffed as you made it to the top of the stairs.
“Is that all you wanted to hear? That I played like shit? Okay, yeah, I played like absolute shit. You win. Now will you leave me alone?” he said, trying to hold back from shouting at you even though he was dancing on the line that separated shouting from talking loudly.
“That’s not what I want to hear, Joe. You know that,” you said, your voice cracking once you felt a hot tear slide down your cheek. “I just want you to talk to me about your feelings, especially after our conversation last night. I don’t want you to go through all that again because I know how hard you tried to move past this mentally. You shut me out before and dealt with all of this on your own, and I saw how badly it affected you. I don’t want you to do that again. I can’t see you like that again,” you cried, your body shaking as all of your built-up emotions from the entire day were coming out.
You wiped your eyes as you followed him down the hallway, both of you walking past your bedroom and heading toward his office. You made it to the door and watched him open it and step inside. You were going to follow him in, but he turned around on the doorstep which blocked you from going inside. “No,” he shook his head.
“But..Joe I-,” you cried harder.
“No. Just please go away,” he said, his jaw clenching again like it was earlier, but this time it stayed clenched. “I can’t deal with you right now,” he said, his words feeling like a stab to your heart now.
There was nothing behind those eyes now. He had built up that wall again, that wall you tried so hard to prevent from being built because you knew you’d never be able to get over it. The same wall that he had built back in November after his injury. He did it again. After working so hard to be more open and honest about his feelings, thoughts, and emotions, he went straight back to square 1.
“Joe, please,” you pleaded. “Nothing’s gonna hurt you baby, if you just talk to me,” you cried more forcefully.
Joe stared at you for a few heartbeats, his heart-shattering at the sight of the state he had brought you to. It was all his fault. Everything was his fault; the game and now this argument. Deep down, he knew you were right, but he just couldn’t see it because the wall he had built was too high.
He was about to open his mouth to say something, trying to listen to you and talk to you about how he was feeling, but he backed down once he saw you start to shake. He saw your distressed face, your red eyes, your trembling lip, your shaking body, and your rapid breathing. He knew this was all his fault. If he unloaded all of his incredibly heavy, intense, and dreadful feelings on you right now, that would be so incredibly selfish of him.
Joe backed up in the doorway which made you think he was letting you come inside, but just as you were about to come in, he shut the door on your face.
You stare at the closed door for a few seconds, not processing what just happened. He really wasn’t letting you in. After all that, after everything he went through? After everything you both went through these past 10 months?
“Do you know how scared I was the entire game? Do you know how every time you went down my heart stopped? Do you know that I spent 5 minutes crying in the bathroom during halftime because I saw the look on your face?” you shouted at the door, your sobs getting louder. “I know this is hard for you but I’m here, Joe. I’m always h- here,” you choke out.
“Just leave me the fuck alone!” Joe shouted through the door, tears sliding down his cheeks as he squeezed his eyes shut because he instantly regretted saying that to you especially with that harshness in his voice that he knew would hurt you.
You backed up from the door once you heard him shout at you, he never shouted at you, not even when you had arguments worse than this. You looked around the hallway, trying to collect your thoughts but there were none left to collect. You said everything that you could’ve possibly said to get through to him, what more was there left to say?
He wanted you to leave him alone, so you were going to do just that.
“Okay, I’ll leave you alone,” you whispered to yourself, turning around and walking to your shared bedroom, your sobs echoing throughout the house as you disappeared inside your room.
On the other side of the office door, Joe was sitting in his office chair, hot tears sliding down his cheeks as he was drowning with regret. He lamented saying those things to you, he doesn’t know what came over him. What was wrong with him?
“Why did I do that to her? Why the fuck did I do that to…her?” he sniffled. He knows his anxiety and fears are controlling him right now, but there was absolutely no reason for him to take it out on the one person who always is there for him no matter what.
“I fuck everything up,” he cried as he looked at a photo of the two of you sitting on his desk, a photo his mom took after he got his wrist surgery.
Flashback to November 27th
“Babe, can we go skydiving?” Joe laughed as he rolled his head against the pillow to look at you. He had just woken up from surgery so he was feeling the effects of the anesthesia, and boy were they funny. The things that were coming out of his mouth were nothing but lighthearted, pure fun. It was good to see him laugh and smile especially since how melancholic his attitude had been since he got injured.
“Absolutely not,” you said while giving him a serious look. “You are not jumping out of a plane as long as I am on this earth,”.
“But why not? They have parachutes,” he pouted. “I think it would be sooooo fun,”.
“This is the same man who hates flying. Can you believe it?” Robin laughed as she finished typing up a text to send to family members to let them know the surgery went really well.
“I know right?” you laughed with her.
“How long did they say I can’t do stuff with my hand for?” Joe asked you with his adorable wide-eyed stare.
“I think they said to have it in a sling for at least a month right now until your first follow-up,” you said as you brushed his hair out of his eyes.
“A month?” Joe dramatically gasped, his jaw dropping to the floor.
“Yeah,” you laughed. “Sorry baby, you’re not Deadpool and can’t heal within 5 seconds,” you smiled.
“Wait, does that mean we can’t have sex for a month?” he gasped again.
“Joe!” you shrieked, your cheeks turning red because his mom was right in front of you both.
“Ah, wait. Loophole, duhh. You can just be on top which I know you love,” he winked while using his finger to point at you for emphasis.
“Oh my god,” you whined as you hid your face in your sweatshirt sleeves, hearing Joe’s mom break out into a fit of laughter.
“Hey, don’t hide your pretty face from me,” Joe pouted as he used his good hand to lower your hands that were covering your face. “Ahh, there she is. My beautiful, adorable, sexy-as-hell, fiance,” he said after you uncovered your face.
“Fiance?” you raised an eyebrow and asked. “Is this your way of proposing?” you giggled.
“No. When I actually do, it’ll be way more grander, sexier, and special than this,” he winked. “Like I’m talking maybe on the top of the Empire State Building, maybe in the middle of the football stadium, maybe at the top of the Eiffel Tower, maybe even while we go skydiving type special proposal. But I know I’m marrying you and I like the word fiance better than girlfriend,” he laughed.
“You’re insane,” you laughed as you dropped your head to his chest, feeling him cup your head with his good hand and drop a kiss on your head.
“I love you like a lot,” he giggled. “Like a lot a lot,” he giggled again.
“Ohh, I know,” you cheesed.
“You definitely don’t. I love you more than words can describe,” he smiled, you craned your head up to look into his sweet eyes before leaning up and pressing a kiss to his lips. “I love you too, Burrow,”.
After you pulled away you were about to get up from his hospital bed but his mom spoke up, “Wait, stay like that. I’m going to get a picture,” she smiled.
“Yesss,” Joe nodded. “I loveeeee pictures, especially with my fiance,”.
“You are really something,” you giggled as you sat up straight.
You moved your hair back and helped Joe scooch up in the bed before turning your head and pressing a kiss to his cheek, placing your hand under his chin as he had a giant grin on his face. His good hand was wrapped around your waist and was holding you as close as possible to his body.
You two were so happy. For once this past month, you were laughing, you both were smiling.
“Are you going to be my protector for the next few months?” Joe giggled. “Not let anything bad happen to me and my wrist?”.
“Oh, 100%. I am your nurse, personal bodyguard, and protector. Nobody is hurting my man on my watch,” you grinned again as you smothered his cheeks with kisses.
You both knew this wasn’t going to be easy, but as long as you were by each other’s side, nothing was going to hurt you.
End of flashback
“Nothing’s going to hurt me as long as she’s with me. I can’t keep pushing her away,” Joe whispered to himself as he snapped out of the sweet memory and wiped his tears.
2 hours later
It had been two hours since your fight with Joe so it had been two hours since you had last seen him. After going into your bedroom earlier, you spent about 10 minutes crying in the bathroom as you tried to change into some comfier clothes. You felt awful about the whole thing. The way you lost your cool a few times, the way he was talking to you, just everything–it was horrible.
You were currently sitting on the couch, sipping on some water and scrolling through some photos on your phone of the two of you. You let out a small laugh when you came across a silly photo of the two of you at a Hurricane Party you dragged him to at LSU. You remembered he was fully against the idea of going to a party during a hurricane, saying it was ‘batshit crazy’ and a ‘death wish’ but you managed to drag him along with you because you didn’t want him to sit inside and stress about the storm. In the photo, you two were standing on the deck of your friend’s house, the wind blowing so hard against you that Joe’s hat was flying away, and you with the hat you were trying to catch. His hand was tightly gripping onto yours and there were silly, drunk, lovesick smiles on both your faces as you were being soaked from the rain.
“We’re insane,” you sniffled, realizing how batshit crazy it really was to party during a hurricane.
As you were looking at other photos, you heard heavy footsteps coming down the stairs. You looked over at the bottom of the staircase, seeing Joe coming down in comfy clothes and wet hair which meant he showered and came out of his office at some point.
“At least he wasn’t in there for the entirety of these two hours looking at stuff from the game,” you thought to yourself.
Joe met your eyes as he walked into the room, seeing how red and puffy they were which was yet another thing that made him feel like absolute shit. He turned his head away at the same time you turned yours and walked into the kitchen, pulling out a glass from the cabinet.
He started pouring you a glass of water, adding a few ice cubes because he knew you loved to chew on ice after you cried. At first, he didn’t understand the correlation, but then you explained to him that the ice has this cooling effect that can reduce heat and swelling around the face that happens after crying for a while.
He grabbed the glass from the counter and slowly walked over to the couch, standing in front of you and holding the glass out. “Here,” he softly said, his voice just as heavy as yours which told you that he was crying too.
You slowly looked up at him, noticing that his eyes were also red and puffy. He definitely was crying too.
“Thanks,” you quietly say as you take the glass from him, taking a big sip and letting the ice cube float into your mouth.
“At least he remembered the ice,” you thought to yourself, appreciating the fact that he added them.
You start to chew on the ice as you see Joe plop down on the couch next to you, your body freezing up because you remember everything he said to you earlier. You knew he was coming from a place of anger and guilt, but it still hurt. Joe noticed you tense up next to him, because of him, and that felt like a knife to his heart.
You both stayed quiet, staring at the random re-run of an episode of Friends that was playing on TV, but your minds weren’t focused on what was happening in the show. They were focused on each other.
Joe felt his bottom lip start to quiver as his eyes once again pooled with tears, all of his emotions were coming out again. He fucked things up with you so bad tonight that he didn’t even know how to fix it. He hurt you. You were just trying to help him for his own good and he shut down on you. He shut you out. The one and only person that he let into his bubble. The one person he needed in his bubble.
His brain was already crowded with anxiety and fear regarding football, but this was the worst thing out of everything. He didn’t want to go back to that dark place again, he didn’t want to deal with this on his own.
You heard soft sniffles come from beside you so you looked over, your heart shattering again as you saw Joe on the verge of tears, his eyes so red and his lip trembling like he was trying to hold it together.
He didn’t need to hold it together, not around you. You knew that. You needed to make sure he knew that. “Come here,” you whispered to him as you put your arm around his shoulder and pulled him into your chest.
Joe immediately snaked his arm around your waist and rested his cheek against your chest, letting his tears fall from his eyes onto your pink tank top. You wriggled your hand into his frosted tip hair, scratching his scalp and pressing kisses to his head as he cried harder into your chest.
You hated seeing him cry, but you knew he was feeling a lot right now and he needed to get his feelings out and this was the best way for him to do it. “It’s okay,” you soothed as you rubbed his back. “I’m here,”.
“I’m sorry, Y/N. I’m s- so fucking sorry,” he cried harder. “I didn’t mean to yell at you, I didn’t mean to say all of that horrible shit to you. You don’t deserve any of that, you were just trying to help,”.
“I know, baby, I know,” you said, blinking away a few of your own tears. “It’s okay,”,
“No, it’s not okay,” he said. “This is all so fucked up. I fucked everything up,” he sobbed.
“No, you didn’t,” you said to him as you continued to rub his back. “You didn’t fuck anything up, Joe. Everything’s fine,”.
“I did. I fucked up in the game and then I fucked up things with you. Nothing’s fine,” he sniffled.
“Listen, Nothing's gonna hurt you, baby. As long as you're with me, you'll be just fine,” you said to him before pressing a kiss to his forehead. “Like I said earlier, I’m right here. Just talk to me,”.
“...You’re right,” he sniffled, breaking through the mental wall he had built. “You belong in my bubble, I can’t keep you out of it,”.
“So don’t,” you said, pulling him in tighter.
“I’m scared,” he breathed out a few seconds later. “I feel guilty about everything. This game was supposed to be different. I was supposed to be different. I feel like all of this was my fault because I wasn’t as ready as I thought I was. This was my first game back and I played like absolute shit out there,”.
“Oh, Joe,” you said as your face dropped as well as your heart.
“I disappointed everyone. Most importantly, I disappointed you. Even after everything you told me last night, I couldn’t do it. Everything that could’ve gone wrong went wrong and I didn’t do anything to fix it,” he said as a few more tears fell from his eyes.
“You didn’t disappoint anyone, Joe. Nobody expected you to go out there and play like you had a completely normal year. You went through so much with this injury, obviously things weren’t going to go back to normal in one game,” you gently said. “And you could never disappoint me. I told you, I know you. The public doesn’t know you like I do so they’re going to run with whatever bullshit they want as an explanation for why the game went the way it did. I know why things went the way they did, I’m not disappointed in you at all. I’m proud of you for going out there and doing what you did today,” you said as you pressed another kiss on his forehead and moved your hand back up to his soft hair.
“I just feel like I had the shinest wheels, you know? There was so much hype and fire around me when I first got drafted, but ever since then, I’ve just disappointed everyone. It feels like the wheels are rusting. I know what everyone’s been saying, and I get it. I would say the same thing if I was in their shoes. It’s been 5 years of nothing but injuries, slow starts, and coming up short. I feel like I’m falling behind everyone, everyone keeps getting better and I feel stuck. Right now, all of my cages are mental and that’s why I’m scared. If I keep doing this, I’m wasting my potential. I’m stuck as the ‘injury prone’ and ‘wasted potential’ quarterback,” he said, the vulnerability in his voice comforting you because it meant he was letting you in.
“I haven’t done what I promised to do when I got drafted, so why should people believe me when I say that I’m built for this? Why should they believe me when I say that this year will be different? And you know what? They don’t believe me, at least not anymore and I saw that today. They see right through me. Even I see right through me,” he said.
“Can you see right through me?” he asked you, looking up into your soft eyes.
“Yes,” you nodded, his brows furrowing at your response. “Not in that way though,” you added. “I see right through you because I know you. That’s why I knew you weren’t fine the second you walked out of the locker room. Remember, the media, the fans, and the public don’t see through you, they only see the surface level because they don’t know you. They don’t truly know how hard you work, how strong you are, how much passion you really have for this. They’re going to spew whatever bullshit they want because that’s what they do. If they were in your shoes, then they would know why these things happen and the reality of the situation. They can’t see through you, I promise. And as for the not getting better, you’re crazy if you think that. I saw you in practice, your throws have never looked better. You have never looked better, all this muscle and beefiness is a part of getting better. And like I told you yesterday, you control the narrative. You don’t have to be the ‘injury-prone’ quarterback, you can change it. Deep down, you know who you are. Don’t let these trolls and interlopers define you,”.
Joe nodded as he felt his breaths steady out and his tears start to dry up. “I played scared yesterday, and I don’t know why? I thought I was ready, you know? We weren’t supposed to lose that game,”.
“I know,” you sighed. “But you’ve gone through so much these past 5 years, it’s completely normal to be hesitant and nobody should be blaming you for this. Yesterday’s loss wasn’t just on you. You’re on a team, Joe. They didn’t play perfectly either and the blame shouldn’t only fall on you. You’re a piece to the puzzle, a big piece, but not the only piece. The media always wants to pin everything on one person. One thing that I admire about you is how easily you block out the outside noise, don’t change that. Block it out like you always do,”.
“This is game 1 out of 17. Don’t let this define you and don’t let the noise get to you,” you said as you used your thumb to rub the skin underneath his eye, wiping away the wet tear trails.
Joe nodded again, taking in all of the words you were saying to him. You were right, about all of it. He was so in his head about everything and so panicked that he couldn’t use logic and sense to think clearly. This was just one bump in the road as you explained. He had 16 more games to play and 16 more opportunities to show everyone what he’s made of.
“You’re right,” he nodded. “This was one game. I can take this, learn from my mistakes, and get better,”.
“That’s exactly what I like to hear,” you smiled after hearing him work through his complicated feelings. “You’re going to get better. The team is going to get better. If you want to fix the blaring issues, do it with a calm, collected, and cool mind. You’re called ‘Joe Cool’ for a reason. Live up to that name,” you giggled. “Don’t lose your cool, don’t lose your composure over shit like this. I know you feel awful about how things went today, but one bad game doesn’t define a player and doesn’t define the entire season. Things were rough, but you always, no, you will bounce back,”.
“Thank you,” he sniffled against your chest, his brain feeling like it had just been given a nice comfy king-sized bed and cloud-like blanket to sleep in for the night. You were the only person that could make him turn his brain off and he couldn’t thank you enough. “I think I just got panicked after seeing everyone’s reactions and seeing how things looked out on the field plus everything I was feeling yesterday made it worse,”.
“Of course,” you smiled as you gave his head another kiss before holding him tighter against you. “And I get it. Sometimes it feels like the walls are caving in but that’s why it’s always important to talk to someone when you feel that way. Bottling up those feelings only makes it worse,”.
“You're 100% right, Y/N. I’m sorry about earlier,” he said while looking up into your eyes again. “That was so fucking uncalled for. And I’m sorry for raising my voice, I was a dick to you the entire night,”.
“It’s okay,” you smiled. “You were a dick, I agree,” you began to say, earning a laugh from Joe which made your heart smile, “But you’re my dick and I know how to handle you,” you smiled, then quickly furrowed your brows.
“Wait, that doesn’t sound right at all,” you slapped your hand against your mouth after realizing what that sounded like, another laugh coming from Joe’s mouth.
“I know what you mean,” he smiled. “But seriously, everything I said was straight bullshit. You mean the world to me and without you, I really think I would end up in an insane asylum. You’re the single most important thing in my life and I appreciate everything you do for me. Don’t ever leave me alone if I ask you to. Like please, I can’t live without you. Chain yourself to my wrist if you need to,”.
“Noted,” you smiled. “Just don’t freak out on me like that again, okay? You worked so hard this past year to get out of that zone, break free from that dark cloud, and I don’t want to see you back there,”.
“I promise I won’t go back there and if I ever feel like I am, you’ll be the first person I come to. I’m never going to keep you out of the bubble again,” he said as he pressed a kiss to your chest. “I love you,” he said with another kiss to your chest.
“I love you too,” you smiled down at him. “I love you like a lot a lot,” you giggled, echoing what he said to you after his wrist surgery.
“You know, sweet talking and hugs do make everything better,” he laughed as he looked up at you with his child-like smile you loved to see.
“Oh, I know,” you winked. “But you still feel pretty stiff right now. Are you sure you’re 100% okay?”.
“I think it’s just all the tension that I didn’t get to release out on the field. And I guess everything that happened after made it worse,” he grimaced.
“Ah, that makes sense,” you nod, trying to think of a way to help him get his tension out because you knew if he didn’t, he’d be whiny all night about it. “How about some hot, post-loss sex to make you feel better?” you wiggled your eyebrows and asked.
Joe’s eyes jumped up to meet yours as he was a bit taken aback by your straightforwardness. “For real?” he asked as he got up from your chest.
“Mhm, the perfect way to get the tension and aggression out,” you said while licking your lips and giving him a sultry smile.
“I love you, so fucking much,” he growled in your ears before shooting up from the couch, snaking his arms under you, lifting you up, and leading you up to the bedroom bridal style.
“At least the wrist seems to be just fine,” you giggled as he quickly ran up the stairs with you.
Not even 5 minutes later, you two were mostly naked, on the bed, and attached to each other’s lips as if you had never kissed each other before. His lips moved against yours hungrily, signaling that he was feeling that way tonight and that you should brace yourself for what was to come.
You felt him pull away from your lips and start pressing wet, sloppy kisses down your body. “I thought we were getting right to it?” you asked him as you felt his gentle lips on your belly.
“Mmm, I gotta make it up to you first, then we can get to it,” he smiled up at you.
“But I said I-,”.
“Nope. I have to make you feel good first, you deserve it,” he winked before he continued to kiss down your body. You felt him attach his lips to the skin of your inner thigh, rhythmically sucking and biting which would surely leave a mark while his hands crept up to the waistband of your lace panties. He then moved his lips to press a kiss to your clothed core before pulling your underwear down, tossing it to the side, and then flashing you a devilish grin since he saw how you were squirming around on the bed because of the undeniable ache between your thighs.
The next few minutes passed by like a blur and the next thing you knew, Joe’s head was buried deep in between your thighs and your back was arching off the bed. “Joe,” you moaned as you felt him push you back down, the expert swirl of his tongue sending jolts of pleasure throughout your body. “J- Joe,” you whispered, your head falling to the side as your eyes fluttered shut.
Joe couldn’t help but smile into you as he continued to eat you out like a starved man, the beautiful sounds coming from your mouth making his heart happy but also, his dick.
“Mmm, fuck..,” you whimpered as you gripped the silk sheets, tossing your leg over his shoulder and lightly gliding your foot along his muscular back. The sudden touch made Joe groan into your core which sent vibrations throughout your body, your heated touch feeling like fire against his cold frame.
He continued to lap at your drenched folds, all while his hands were tightly gripping your hips and massaging your plush skin. “You’re so fucking good at this,” you whispered with another loud moan following after as you felt his perfect ski-slope nose rubbing against your aching clit.
You placed a hand into his hair, softly pulling on the strands as you pushed him closer to your core and yet another moan came from your mouth. Joe lifted his head out from in between your thighs and looked up at you, “You’re extra vocal tonight,” he smirked, his lips and chin coated with your wetness.
“Shut up,” you whined before you pushed his head back down, a smile appearing on your lips when you felt him attach his lips to your bundle of nerves and flick your clit with his warm tongue. You felt yourself fading away, getting lost in the sensual supernova that was happening down below.
“...Oh my god,” you whined a few seconds later, feeling him thrust a finger into your core which pushed you closer to your orgasm even faster than before. “Don’t stop,” you said while pulling on his hair, your leg lightly wrapping around the back of his neck.
You felt him move his other hand down, his thumb resting on your clit as he rubbed slow circles around the bundle of nerves–this movement made you see stars. The combination of his thumb rubbing your clit, his finger thrusting in and out of your slick core, and his mouth going unhinged was making the imaginary band in your stomach tighten harder than it ever had before.
“I’m close,” you whimpered, your hips gently bucking at the jolt of pleasure moving through your body. “I’m..s- so…c- close,” you whimpered, this time a little louder because his thumb started moving faster around your clit. You then feel him add another finger into your core, your hips grinding against the bed as you search for any form of relief, but the only thing that could relieve you was taking his sweet time.
“Baby, please,” you begged, your eyes fluttering shut as your back arched off the bed again, his fingers rapidly thrusting in and out of your core while you felt a more extreme feeling begging to be released from inside of you. “Oh, fuck,” you moaned, the feeling about to break through in just a few seconds.
Joe curled his fingers inside of your core and moved his mouth back up to your clit, roughly attaching his mouth to the bud and sucking you in a way that he knew drove you crazy. And then just a few seconds later you dropped back down to the bed as you felt yourself tip over the edge, his name falling from your lips like some seductive chant while you came undone. “Joe!” you screamed, tightly closing your eyes and feeling your entire body shake with the force of your orgasm.
Joe looked up through his eyelashes, watching you restlessly move around and hearing breathy moans leaving your beautiful mouth as he lapped at the juices of your intense–still going–orgasm. He was slowly getting more and more worked up as he watched you come apart, knowing he was the only man who had ever seen you this vulnerable and raw and was the only man who was going to see this.
A minute later you open your eyes, your chest heaving as you recover from the intense high that washed over you, “Holy fuck,” you panted as you saw Joe smiling at you, his lips and chin completely covered in your release, his face showing that he somehow enjoyed this just as much as you did.
“Did I just-,” you asked, feeling the soaked sheets below you, as you caught your breath. Your eyebrows shoot up in amusement as you watch Joe wipe his chin with his fingers before using his tongue to lick them clean.
“Yeah,” he chuckled, “You did,”.
“Oh my god,” you said, hiding your face with your hands out of embarrassment.
Joe let out a throaty laugh before kneeling on the bed again and hovering over you, then moving your hands off of your face, “Why are you hiding,” he smiled.
“Because I just…,” you said while biting your lip, his bedroom eyes making you want to pounce on him right that second even though you also wanted to run and hide for some reason.
“What?” he said while trying to hold back his cocky smile. “Squirted?” he asked while moving your hair out of your face.
“You don’t have to say it like that…,” you said while hiding your face again.
After all this time, you still felt shy around him. He’d seen your most embarrassing moments, your best and your worst. He’d seen it all. The fact that you felt embarrassed about this little thing was adorable and another reminder that you were the most precious girl he had ever met.
“Don’t feel embarrassed, babe. It’s not the first time and it’s definitely not the last time,” he softly said while leaning down to kiss your forehead. “I think it was super hot and super sexy,”.
“Really?” you asked while peeking out at him through your fingers.
“Mhmmm. Besides, I’ve seen way worse than this. Can’t forget the time I walked in on you fingering yourself while I was away at practice,” he grinned from ear to ear, as if he was proud that he made you so worked up even when he was away from you.
“Joseph Lee,” you screamed while playfully slapping his bare chest.
“Hey, it was a great show,” he shrugged. “I can still remember the sounds,” he said while clearing his throat. “Oooh, Joe. Ohhh Joe, fuck. Joe, ah… Joey!” he moaned as he mimicked you, all while laughing because he couldn’t be serious about it.
“You know, I don’t have to offer an outlet for you to release your tension,” you shrugged as you started to get up from the bed but felt yourself being caged in by your large boyfriend.
“Ahem, I don’t think that’s how this works, baby,” he shook his head. “Once you put something on the table, you can’t take it off,”.
“Oh yeah?” you teased. “What if I do?”.
“You don’t wanna know,” he whispered in your ear before slamming his thick cock into your dripping entrance with no warning.
“Joe,” you gasped, the sudden feeling of him stretching you out and filling you up so extreme and lively.
“That’s it, baby,” he groaned as he threw his head back, his cock moving at an instantaneous pace. “That’s it…,” he said again but a little quieter while he dropped his head to the crook of your neck, the feeling of your warm walls wrapping around him so intense and special.
“Joe, fuck,” you whimpered as you felt his cock repeatedly slam into your cervix, his body moving against yours recklessly and roughly. His thrusts quickened as he moved deeper and deeper inside you, the sounds of your breathy moans getting louder with each snap of his skilled hips. He sported a euphoric look on his once-tired face, a sign that he felt relaxed and it was all to your credit.
The next few minutes were hot, steamy, and messy as he whispered filthy praise into your ear which matched the pure vulgarity that was happening between you two on the bed right now. His hard thrusts made it difficult for you to hold it together, your nails clawing at his tan back as you bit down on his shoulder and got lost under his touch. “You’re so good to me,” he moaned in your ear, his hand moving up and wrapping around your throat.
“Joe,” you struggled to moan, feeling his grip around your throat becoming a little tighter as the pleasure inside of you was rapidly building.
“Ah, fuck,” he panted as he picked his head up and cupped the back of your leg, and lifted it over his shoulder; this new position opened you up even more and made it easier for him to hit all the right spots inside of you. “Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he whimpered, the sight of his lip in between his teeth and his thick body moving against you making your eyes roll to the back of your head.
“I’m close,” you moaned as you looked down, moaning again at the sight of his shaft rapidly moving in and out of your slick heat.
“Fuck, me…too,” he groaned, his pace getting rougher and rougher as sounds of your skin slapping against each other echoed throughout the room. “I love you,” he moaned loudly once he felt his cock start to twitch inside of you.
“Joe, fuck…please, I need to come,” you whined, his grip on your leg getting tighter.
“I know baby, I know,” he whimpered, “I’m almost there,” he added as he dropped your leg and moved his hand to the headboard, gripping it tightly as he used it as leverage to slam into you even harder. All the tension, all the aggression, it was all coming out in the most fruitful way possible. He was getting away from himself, and it was all thanks to you.
“Ah, fuck,” you screamed, feeling yourself on the brink of pleasure, stars filling your eyes as his pace remained rough and hard.
A few seconds later, you felt him shoot endless ropes of cum into your wet heat which were accompanied by another loud moan from him. “Fuck. Oh fuck,” he panted as he slowed his thrusts into you, making sure that his release stayed inside of you and that you reached your high.
“Joe, please,” you pleaded, needing to feel your high right this second.
“I’ve got you,” he said while giving you a lazy smile, his hand moving down to your clit and rubbing rapid circles around the sensitive bud as he slowed his thrusts even more. A few seconds later, you clamped down on his cock, arched your body up into him, and felt yourself let go for the second time tonight. “Oh my god,” you moaned before you felt him press gentle kisses all along your neck and eventually your face, your lips meeting in a sloppy kiss as your highs washed over you.
A few minutes later, you were both lying against the messy sheets, your head tucked into his chest as he played with your hair and once again apologized to you for how he acted earlier tonight.
“Joe, I promise, It’s okay,” you giggled. “You’ve made it up to me in more ways than one. The fact that I can’t walk right now is an apology enough,”.
“Okay, I’ll stop now,” he smiled. “Thank you for everything though. This and for everything you said earlier,”.
“No need to thank me, baby. I told you, this is my job. We’re in this together and I promise that nothing’s going to hurt you as long as you’re with me. Like I said to you back in November, I’m your protector,” you grinned.
“That you are,” he laughed, his body feeling loose and light under you for the first time all day.
“Thank god he feels better," you smiled to yourself. Joe was the most important thing in your life, having him relaxed, focused, and calm was all you wanted. He deserved all the happiness, success, and love in the world and you needed to make sure he knew that. Moments like this were going to happen all throughout his career, but they were controllable and you were a big reason as to why they were. He wasn't kidding when he said he needed you inside his bubble or he'd end up in the insane asylum. You were his safe haven, his place of tranquility, his calm in the storm.
“I love you more than anything, Joe. Everything's going to be alright, I promise,” you smiled up at him, then leaned in for another kiss before you felt him pull the sheets over you both.
“I love you too, Y/N,” he smiled as he nuzzled his nose against yours and leaned in for another kiss.

Daryl with a fem reader who’s love language is physical touch? Like whenever they’re cuddling she’s always burying her head into his side or neck. Or another one is acts of service so imagine when they first came to Alexandria she noticed Daryl was the only one in the group who still hasn’t bathed so she offered to do it for him.. he just sits in front of her in the bath while she cleans his hair and scrubs his body
Soap and Bubbles
✧ Pairing : Daryl Dixon x Reader
✧ Era : Season 5
✧ Pronouns : she/her
✧ Genre : Fluff
✧ Word Count : 1.1k
AN ~ I’ve been slacking on requests big time:( But recently I got my wisdom teeth removed and the whole recovery has been kicking my ass, so sadly I just haven’t felt motivated to write anything new. Though I’m hoping this lil oneshot makes up for it and you guys don’t completely hate me lol.
Hope you enjoy! xoxox
He was stubborn. You were persistent. It was like when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. But in the end it was almost painfully obvious who won those battles most of the time.
When the group first arrived to Alexandria; a safe haven that was gifted to you by the grace of God himself, it was no secret that Daryl was one of the first who didn’t trust it. He was constantly tense and on high alert most of the time, when in reality there was never any real danger to begin with. But his thoughts seemed to haunt him, not necessarily because he felt the constant need to protect himself, but because he felt the constant need to protect you.
You were the most precious thing to him, like a delicate flower that he was constantly worried about squishing under his boot if he wasn’t too careful. And just the thought of you being in this unknown place that none of you really knew, it was safe to say it took him a while to even sleep. And it took him even longer to feel comfortable enough to bathe.
After the first few days of getting comfortable in the new community, you couldn’t help but notice that Daryl was the only one who hadn’t taken advantage of the luxury that was given. He hadn’t slept on one of the actual beds, he hadn’t even eaten any of the food that was stocked to the brim in each of the houses. The man just continuously hunted for his own food nearly every single day instead, working for it as if he felt like he had to. And he was one of the last people to use the nice new bathroom that everyone else had been hogging.
It was hard seeing him like this, knowing without even having to ask that he was slightly uncomfortable here. In the end when the place didn’t seem that dangerous, you knew he only really stayed so you had a roof over your head, and that was it. He always seemed to put you first before anything else and it never failed to melt your heart in the best way. But at the same time, you wanted to help him. You wanted to ease him into everything so he could learn to eventually call this place home.
Which is why you ever so slowly tried to coax him into taking a bath. Like a dog who was afraid of water.
“Nah.” was his original answer when you first asked him, that stubbornness really shining through as he put his foot down at the idea. Knowing that he didn’t feel safe enough to be so vulnerable.
But then you offered to help him, and that seemed to change the game as his interest piqued.
So after just a little more convincing, you finally got him into the tub filled with warm water, even adding some bubbles just to make it a little more enjoyable. And although he scoffed at the sight, he clearly wasn’t complaining as he practically melted into the warm water.
You sat yourself behind him as you ran your fingers through his hair, gently massaging his scalp as you cleaned it with a fresh shampoo. His eyes fluttered closed at your softness when touching him, even letting out a satisfied groan or grunt here and there just to let you know how much he was enjoying it. You couldn’t help but smile to yourself every time he did so, dragging the process out just a little bit longer upon seeing how relaxed he was.
Your nails gently scratched his scalp every once and a while which you knew he thoroughly enjoyed, loving the soothing feeling you provided as he slowly came to the conclusion that maybe it wasn’t so bad after all. His muscles twitched as you rinsed the bubbles out of his hair, feeling the warmth running down his back.
A smile stretched across your lips as you looked down at him, “Feel good?”
He nodded slowly as he let out a long and satisfied sigh, keeping his eyes closed as he was certain he could fall asleep within seconds. “Thank you.” he muttered.
Your face softened at his gratitude, “You’re welcome.” your sweet voice spoke, leaning down to place a kiss on top of his head.
He smiled to himself when he felt the touch of your lips, relaxing even more as you continued on for however long you wished. He wasn’t complaining, nor was he going to stop you anytime soon.
You then ran some conditioner through his hair, being able to run your fingers through the full length of it smoothly as you removed all the tangles. It smelled like heaven and it made his hair feel nearly brand new after not having it clean and fresh in so long. You then took your time washing his body, which to him was his favorite part of this whole thing. Your hands worked delicately, watching the soap run down his arms and chest as the remaining dirt just melted off his body.
A few more cuts were now more prominent on his skin as you continued to wash him, making some kind of mental note to help him clean those when he got out of the porcelain bowl. With being on the road for so long you had no idea how long they had been there, now being thankful you had everything you needed to fix him up. Seeing him constantly putting you before him in every single scenario, you wanted to do the same for him whenever you could. Though he was thick headed and usually refused, he did occasionally like being showered with affection like this.
Once you were done and the water was now a bit colder, you opened your mouth to tell him that he should probably get out. But you stopped yourself upon seeing the look on his face, seeing him finally looking content for the first time in months. You figured a few more minutes wouldn’t hurt as you began to drag your nails through his hair again.
“I love you.”
It was so soft you almost didn’t catch it. But the second his words met your ears you couldn’t help but freeze. He had never said that to you before.
Though you knew he always loved you, showing it in the little ways he knew how, you knew he felt a deep love for you that he couldn’t even describe. His actions speaking much louder volumes than words ever could. But now hearing him admit it out loud, you could feel a warmth spreading through your chest as you smiled, continuing to run your fingers through his hair as if to pretend it didn’t affect you as much as it did.
“I love you too.”
~ Thanks for reading!

Can we get the strawhats with a reader who's kinda creepy? Like poping up out of nowhere, obsessed with dangerous creatures, blanked faced, macabre interest, stuff like that. I kinda want to see how they react to that. Like, would they get used to it, or is it a jumpscare every time? Would they be used to it and new ppl aren't? I wanna see your interpretation, honestly.
I'm becoming a mortician, and ppl tell me that I have those traits a lot, lol.
lowk describing me in my day to day life lmao
forethoughts: i have returned to my roots and have wrote something about one piece again :D. i'm gonna be quite busy for the next week, so won't upload as much. i'll try and squeeze some in here and there though!
notes: gn!reader
Old Straw Hats (Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji)
The Old Straw Hats have somewhat gotten used to your ‘creepy’ attributes.
One time when Luffy was trying to share a spooky ghost story with the crew at night, you’d barge into his story midway through, appearing behind him and whispering ‘boo’.
Yeah none of the crew slept last night.
Luffy finds you funny though. It’s like a game of tag to him. If he could spot you before you’d scare him, he wins. If you’d make him scream, you’d win some Berry from him.
Zoro in the beginning jumped whenever you’d suddenly approach him and talk to him, but now he’s just used to your sudden appearances and morbid queries about death and everything spooky.
If you’re a boy, Sanji would yell at you and scold you everytime you randomly showed up and asked him if he’s ever cooked with human meat and if he was willing to experiment. If you’re a girl, Sanji would stifle a scream, and then offer to cook you a meal or snack, giving him the chance to keep an eye on you so you would at least stop disappearing and reappearing at the worst possible moments.
You had become Usopp’s bane of existence the moment you joined the Straw Hats. No matter how many times Usopp claims to be the strongest and bravest pirate ever, just one ‘hey’ was enough to send him packing. He eventually got used to you jumpscaring him, but he still shakes in his boots and has to take a minute to recuperate himself before continuing what he was doing before you approached him.
I’d imagine Nami would see you the way she sees Robin, so she does not pay much mind to you. Sometimes she’d even give you Berry to scare the living soul out of the other boys if they got too rowdy. Nami was the only one you’d be comfortable with sitting down and talking to, since everyone else was always screaming at your unannounced and unexpected presence or at each other.
New Straw Hats (Chopper, Robin)
Chopper was freaked out by your presence in the beginning, finding it creepy how you could show up out of nowhere and no one noticed. But over time, he started to see you differently and respected the strange amount of medical knowledge you possessed and how you could probably operate on someone with your eyes closed. Chopper still screams every time you pop up, but he had to admit you two made a good medical team when it came to trying to resuscitate Luffy after the billionth time.
You and Robin complimented each other and were definitely the closest. You two would always scare the living soul out of any Straw Hat member who dared to trifle with you. Robin would always have the answers to your morbid questions and vice versa. You two would spend your time in the library researching the most weird and out of the world topics. Robin shared the same fascination with dangerous creatures, macabre interests, anything you liked she had already studied. All in all, the two of you were an unstoppable morbid duo, and you both knew it. The moment Robin walked on board the Sunny you KNEW you two were going to be pals.

Save a horse, Ride a cowboy𐚁
(My version)
A/N: @heart-of-the-morningstar has inspired me to do my own version of the save a horse ride a cowboy smut that she posted, so this is a full one shot. Make sure you guys go visit @bat-boness and give them love and support. As this fic was based off of their drawings. This also is based off the game Red Dead Redemption 2 because that's the only way I'll be able to format this and make it look good. (TAKES PLACE AROUND THE SAME TIME RDR2 DOES)
Pairing: Cowboy! Outlaw! Lucifer/F!Reader
Contents: Smut, established relationship, p in v sex, bondage, biting, orgasm denial, dirty talk, sub Lucifer, light angst, cowgirl position, spanking, hand jobs, dom and sub undertones, blow jobs, praise kink, Lucifer for once isn't short (only because of his boots lol)
‼️DISCLAIMER‼️: THIS ALSO IS NOT PROOF READ, IT'S SOMETHING I THREW TOGETHER IN THE SPAN OF A FEW HOURS
As always, work under the cut🤞🏻
Your husband, Lucifer, wasn't always the kindest man. Of course he was to you, but others weren't quite as lucky. There'd been multiple times where he'd come home with blood covering his hands and shirt.
Though it wasn't something you liked particularly, you still loved your husband, despite all the wrong he'd done in the world.
So there you sat in your shared kitchen, waiting for him to get home. It was well after the time he normally got back. You assumed the job just took a bit longer to handle.
But as time went on, you started to get more worried. He'd never taken this long before. You stood up from your chair, completely forgetting about the plate infront of you and walked over to the door. There, you slipped on your boots and went to grab the door handle.
As soon as you turned the knob and went to walk out, you immediately stopped. There stood Lucifer, coughing and dusting off his muddy clothes, not even noticing that the door has opened and you were standing there. His eyes finally moved up to meet yours.
He smiled brightly. "Oh, my love-" He started, then confusion took over as you leaped at him, almost pushing him off the porch.
"Where the hell were you!?" You practically cried. He fumbled back, both confusion and worry washed over his face. "Honey, what are you-" He started once again, but you had cut him off. "You know exactly what I'm talking about Lucifer. I waited for hours! I thought you were dead, or stranded somewhere!" Tears threatened to roll down your cheeks.
Realization finally hit him and he knew he had fucked up. "L-Listen, the job took longer than I was expecting, but I got out fine, see?" He spinned around, showing that he didn't have a single scratch anywhere. "And," He said, reaching into his satchel. "I brought home a lot of money." He smiled, hoping that would be enough for an apology.
You sighed. You were still annoyed, but glad he was okay. "Go inside." You said, stepping to the side to let him in. "Of course my dear." He said with the stupid, but handsome smirk he'd always use when he got his way. As he moved past you, he placed a kiss to your head. You swatted at him and he laughed, walking over to the coat rack.
"Your food is probably cold." You said, picking up the plate and walking over to place it on the stove top. You were one of the few lucky places to get electricity at this point in time. You walk back over to where you had previously sat. He stood by the door, taking off his boots and jacket, now left in black jeans and a red collared over shirt.
He walked over to the table, sitting in his designated spot, across from you. There you sat, looking like your mind was running a mile a minute. Silence filled the room for a few minutes. Lucifer was becoming more nervous with every ticking of the clock. No one spoke, except for him.
"I'm sorry." He said. You looked up to him, for the first time since he sat down. He looked guilty, and you felt a bit bad. You flashed him a small smile, which calmed his nerves a bit. "Go upstairs." You commanded, and he immediately knew what you meant by that.
"S-sweetheart-" He fumbled over his speech, trying to convince you that he didn't deserve this. "Now." You said sternly. He got up from his seat with a nod, then made his way upstairs.
You sat there for a moment longer before you cleaned up and started up the stairs as well. You made your way down the hall to your shared room, the floor boards creaked loudly with every step.
You walked up to the door, stopping for a second before turning the handle and stepping in. You looked over to the bed, and there sat your beautiful husband. He looked like a mess.
You couldn't help but pity him. He smiled nervously at seeing you enter. His thumbs twiddled together to keep himself somewhat calm. "H-Hello, my love." He said. You made your way over to him, placing a hand on each side of him and leaning in for a kiss. He allowed you to do so, groaning a bit at the way your tongues danced together.
You found him following your face, more like chasing your lips once you pulled away. You smiled at him, and he made his best attempt to smile back.
"I assume you know what's going on Luci?" You asked him. He slowly nodded in response. "Good," you continued. "Take everything off, I'll get your rope." You pulled away, walking over to a dresser on the other side of the room. As you rummaged through the drawer, you heard the sound of clothes hit the floor. The thought of how he looked made you sweat.
You turned around, rope in hand. You slowly made your way back over to the bed where he sat again, this time clothesless. Except for the white hat that sat atop his head.
Your gaze made its way to in-between his thighs, there laid his half hard cock. You smiled to yourself and brung the ropes to his now together wrists, then tied them above his head.
"Too tight?" You asked, pulling at the restraints lightly. "No." He said. "It's okay." You pulled yourself back and threw the rope towards the dresser, leaving the mess for later. You leaned into him again, using one hand to cradle his cheek, the other to stroke his hard on.
He moaned into your mouth and bucked his hips up into your hand. You immediately pulled away. He whined at the loss. "You should know better sweetheart." You stated, and he mumbled an apology. You brought yourself down so you sat right infront of his cock. You looked up before taking your tongue and licking from the base to the tip.
He whimpered and tossed his head back. "F-fuck angel.." satisfied with this reaction, you brought yourself down completely onto him, his tip hit the back of your throat. He moaned loudly and squeezed his eyes shut. You set a steady pace as you bobbed your head up and down pulling a variety of sounds from his throat.
You felt his cock begin to twitch in your mouth. He was close. "Shit-! D-don't stop, please, please don't." Right as you felt he was about to release, you pulled off, leaving him a mess and unsatisfied.
He whined like a child and groaned. You grabbed where the rope was connected to the top of the bed and untied it. He thought you were letting him go but boy was he wrong, very wrong.
"Scoot back." You instructed. He reluctantly did what you said, still whining about being denied. Once he was by the headboard, you tied him up once again, but now he was more comfortable.
He sprawled himself out before you, showing every part of his beautiful pale body. You got off the bed and started to take your clothes off as well. Once you were naked, as he was, you got back up onto the bed.
Sat on your knees infront of him and leaned forward, grabbing his hat off his head and placing it on your own. "So pretty." He praised as you brought your hand down to your pussy and slid your fingers in between your wet folds. Lucifer couldn't help but be in a trance at the sight infront of him. You were so beautiful, you could make him cum just by the way you looked at him.
You pulled your fingers away. They were now covered in your slick. You took those fingers, and placed them in Lucifer's mouth to suck, which he gratefully did. He moaned at the taste of you, wanting nothing more than to eat you out till you couldn't think straight.
Keeping your fingers in his mouth, you crawled your way up so you hovered right above his hips. Without a second thought, you slammed down onto him. He cried out, biting down on your fingers and squeezing his eyes shut.
You moaned too, his tip hitting your g-spot perfectly. "Good boy.." you whispered, bringing your free hand to run your hand down his chest. "You look so pretty like this." His cheeks flushed and you smiled warmly at him.
He bucked his hips up, and in response, you brought your hand down to his thigh, hard. This resulted in him crying out. You pulled your fingers out of his mouth, refusing to move.
He began to plead with you. He already was denied before, he couldn't handle this too. "Please baby," he whined "Please please please, I promise I'll be good. I'm so so sorry angel. Please fuck me."
Seeing him such a pleading mess infront of you turned you on more than anything could. You did as he asked and slowly sat up, feeling him drag inside you before slamming down again. This continued, moans and other sounds coming from you both. You quickly began to speed up.
"Yes yes yes yes, don't stop." He cried, "W-wanna touch you." Sweat dripped down his features as he tried everything he could to get loose.
You yourself also felt that coil starting to tighten, your pace brutal and quick. You had to bring a hand to your head to make sure the hat stayed on. "S-shit Luci, gonna.. cum." You said, tossing your head back in pleasure. "So, close.." You both said, each orgasm hitting at the same time. Your body shook and he rutted into you, a deep groan coming from his chest as hot ropes of his cum painted your insides.
You collapsed onto him, still having tiny spurts from the after-effects. His gasps as well as your pants could be heard. After about a minute or so, you sat up and smiled weakly at him. He did the same. You leaned down and grabbed him by his face.
"Promise me that you'll never keep me waiting like that again, okay?" You said sternly. He loved when you were dominant. "Yes darling." He whispered and you placed a peck to his lips before grabbing his wrists and untying him.
His arms shot out towards you, and pulled you down onto his chest, the hat falling off in the process. He peppered your face with kisses, holding you so tight that you couldn't get up even if you wanted too.
You giggled and laid your head on his chest, his cock still embedded inside you. He flipped the pair of you over so he was now laying on you. He buried his face in your boobs with a giddy grin on his face.
"I love you so much my darling." He mumbled from your chest. You smiled and kissed his head, your hand rubbing his back.
"I love you too, cowboy."

Well, you know what they say, bassists do it deeper.
Ruffilo was never a fan of social situations, or people he didn’t know. If he could stay at home and away from the public’s eye, he would. He’d be happy just living with his best friends and some cats, as he was extremely shy; but he was also very needy.
Nick was always fighting for your attention; especially when you laughed a little too hard at one of Folio’s jokes, or a sarcastic comment of Jolly’s. He’d wrap your fingers through his, pulling at your arm so you would sit next to him, tugging you gently away from whoever else you were talking to. Sometimes he got jealous of all the attention you’d receive, especially when out in public; but if anything he despised when you talked to Noah. You were definitely waaay too flirty with him- in Nick’s opinion- but he’d never tell you he thought this because you and him were just friends. Noah played into the teasing you gave him; even though he knew Nick had a thing for you.
It was Halloween, Noah’s birthday; all the boys plus a bunch of friends were celebrating in their Los Angeles home. Nick’s leg bounced anxiously as he sat at the kitchen table with a drink in hand, waiting for you to show up. He exhaled sharply through his nose, eyes staying fixed on the front door as he took a sip, nearly spitting out the vile red mixture. Vodka cran my ass tastes more like some sort of disgusting pink Whitney mix. He thought.
Nick’s mind began to race, thinking about you. You were an hour late, something that rarely occurred because you were always extremely punctual. He wondered where you were; his comfort person. His anxiety was rampant at the amount of people in their house. All he wanted was to see you, so you could tell him everything would be okay; but also because he was head over heels in fucking love with you.
Folio and Jolly were off playing a game of definitely rigged cup-pong, while Noah jumped through various conversations with each guest, thanking everyone for showing up to celebrate his birthday.
Nick took another sip, hand shaking in anticipation as he watched various couples dance through the kitchen, the music loud, echoing through the walls. He readjusted his Jedi- robes multiple times, tugging on the fabric nervously.
Finally, the front door opened, and Nick had to stop himself from standing up immediately at the sight of you, ready for you to hold him in your arms. You waltzed into the house, the thick-heeled boots you wore thumping against the ground, following the beat of his heart.
You smiled when your eyes met his, your dark burgundy lipstick parting, radiating against your skin; his heart pounded heavily. His eyes fought the urge to skim across your body, particularly across your exposed thighs, as the short black skirt you wore rode up dangerously high. He was practically melting in his chair, pants beginning to tighten at the thought of bending you over the counter, taking you from behind.
“What’s up Anakin,” you said, your own eyes glancing across his robes, grinning at his nerdy costume. Nick was always such a dork for Star Wars, but he was your dork.
Nick smiled, relief evident on his face that you were here; but the lingering lust he felt towards you crawled through his skin. His throat began to tighten, and words fumbled. He grabbed his cup, swallowing the remaining vodka-Whitney-cran or whatever the fuck it was, eyeing your every move as you made yourself at home, navigating through the kitchen with ease.
You placed your grocery bag of snacks and drinks you brought in the fridge, closing the door with your heel before cracking open a cooler, and taking a sip as you turned towards Nick. He loved how comfortable you were here, in his house, as if it was your own. Where you were meant to be.
“Hey,” Nick nodded, the corners of his mouth turned up. “Freddy Kruger.”
He maintained eye contact, your E/C eyes lingering in his, the glint in them playful, as if you knew what you were doing to him. The cut-up red and black striped sweater hung cropped across your body, leaving one shoulder exposed, a variety of fake slashes drawn into your skin. The faux-clawed glove was placed on your non-dominant hand, and a brimmed felt hat was placed on top of your head.
“Do you like it?” You asked, giving a slight twirl, and as you turned Nick swore he could see the bottom outline of your cheeks. His face flushed as he shifted in his seat, eyes turning to the floor, becoming very interested in the wood.
“You look fantastic,” Nick said.
You smiled as your face warmed at Nick’s words, even if prompted. Taking another sip of your cooler you hoisted yourself on the counter, sitting on top of the faux marble, the top cold against your thighs.
Nick’s silver eyes glanced up at you through his lashes, before he stood up, grabbing himself another drink.
“You drunk yet?” You asked him, and Nick shook his head in response.
“I was waiting for you, plus, I didn’t want to participate in folio’s rigged version of cup pong. Who plays it where if you miss the ball you drink?” Nick pressed his lips together, before going back to the punch bowl to fill his cup.
“The hell is that?” You nodded towards the bowl, curious about what sort of Halloween-themed drink was made.
“Some garbage Jolly mixed up.” Nick looked into the cup, shrugging before taking another sip. His eyebrows furrowed in disgust, squeezing his eyes shut.
A laugh escaped your lips, “Let me try.”
Nick walked towards you, your legs parting slightly as he stood between you, careful not to get too close, reaching the cup out for you to grab.
Instead of grabbing the cup you leaned forward, placing your lips against the plastic, prompting Nick to feed you the liquid. He tilted the cup, eyes watching your lips intensely as you followed his stare. You took a big sip, coughing after you pulled away. The alcohol flowed down your throat, burning at its strength.
“Jesus, that’s fucking gross,” you covered your mouth briefly before taking a chaser of your drink. You chugged the rest, letting your legs swing as they dangled off the counter, Nick still standing close to you, the heat radiating off of him.
You leaned to the side, tossing the can into the recycling as Noah turned the corner, his eyes brightening into a drunken smile as he swayed towards you, open arms.
“Y/N!” He yelled, the bass of the music pumping in the background.
Noah!” You immediately jumped off of the counter, being engulfed in his embrace. Noah’s hands trailed down your back, dangerously close to the bottom of your skirt. “Happy birthday you nerd!”
Nick watched as you two hugged, his chest tightening as Noah’s hand rubbed up and down your body.
The two of you swayed, Noah, leaning all of his weight into you in a drunken state. You smiled into Noah’s hug, squeezing him. As you pulled away, you readjusted his Leaf Village headband, a sly smile playing on your lips.
“You’re such a dweeb,” you pushed Noah’s shoulder, and he smiled staring down at you, “and you’re so drunk already.”
“Nahh ” Noah wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you against him, “you’re just not drunk enough. Time for some shots!”
You laughed, agreeing as Noah reached into a cupboard for a bottle of tequila- something he knew was your favourite. Noah filled two shot glasses, before you wrapped your elbows around each other, taking two shots of alcohol together in a ritualistic fashion.
Nick averted his eyes as his breath hitched, refusing to watch as Noah held you to his side after the two glasses rested back on the counter.
Your head rested on Noah’s shoulder as you hiccuped from the alcohol, eyes looking up at him. Noah began to sway back and forth to the music, pulling you along with him, before swinging you around. You laughed with Noah, smiles beaming against each other. You followed Noah’s body but watched Nick the entire time.
Nick didn’t look at you, eyes fixated on his cup that he took another drink from, swallowing every drop of liquid. You sighed, shrugging Noah off of you before walking up to Nick, and wrapping your arms around him. He stiffened at your touch but put his arms around you.
“Aw Nicky, are you jealous?” You teased, reaching up to run your fingers through his long dark hair. Your chest rested against his own, and you could feel his heart vibrate against yours. You tried pulling his body to dance with the music, but he remained put, placing his arms across your back, hand holding you against his chest.
“Thanks for the drink No-wah,” you smiled cheekily at him.
Noah grabbed a beer from the counter, “anything for my baby girl.”
Nick was jealous. He was jealous at how easy you and Noah got along, and how you were ready to be in Noah’s arms at any second, but he didn’t know that you knew this got under his skin.
You knew flirting with Noah made Nick jealous, and you loved how possessive Nick always got once you went crawling back to him. You wanted Nick to be jealous, and you wanted him to want you.
Both of you desired each other, but neither was brave enough to make a move.
“C'mon,” you grabbed another cooler from the fridge for you and Nick, bending over slightly in his direction so your ass was barely exposed to him.
Standing up you sauntered towards him, hanging him the can before grabbing his hand. Feeling the warm feeling of the alcohol start to pulse through your veins, you tugged him along the house, walking past the crowd of people before you walked into the living room.
You wrapped your fingers in Nick’s inked ones, holding him close to you.
The living room was packed with people, the only spot available being on the couch; for one person.
You motioned for Nick to sit before inviting yourself to sit on his lap. Nick’s breath caught in his throat in surprise.
You wiggled to get comfortable, and Nick placed his arms across your torso, holding you still against him.
You knew he wouldn’t be able to contain his excitement if you kept moving.
Folio and Jolly’s cup pong game was going on in front of you, and as you brought the can of alcohol to your lips you couldn't help but let a sly smile play at your lips as you thought about teasing the man beneath you.
You pushed into his lap, wriggling your hips along to the music.
“Sorry Nicky, trying to get comfortable,” you said playfully, chugging the can of alcohol before placing it on the coffee table.
Nick’s fingers dug into your hips, attempting to hold you still against him; but he hardened beneath you, a quiet groan heaving from his throat as you shifted along his lap.
“Y/N,” Nick warned, letting a hand go as he grabbed his can, drinking the entire thing to give him the liquid courage.
Both of you felt the buzz of inebriation, allowing the warmth to consume you. Pretending to be invested in the game ahead you leaned back, placing your back against Nick’s chest, letting his hands roam the top of your thighs.
“What are you doing,” Nick asked through gritted teeth, but his heart raced in anticipation at your actions.
You dug your hips into him, feeling the music. No one would be paying attention to the two of you, everyone, including yourselves, would be too drunk to notice.
Sitting up you spun your body so you were straddling his waist, legs parted on either side of him. Your skirt was so short it rode up, exposing the underwear you wore beneath; but only for him to see.
Nick swallowed harshly, eyes glazing over in infatuation as he watched you, your lip finding its way between your teeth. Placing your arms around his neck you eyed every expression, glazing over every detail of his face as Nick flushed. As your body swung back and forth gently, you gained the courage to lean forward, placing a gentle kiss on Nick’s lips.
Nick stared at you, almost in shock. He wasn’t sure if this was a prank, or if he was already so far gone that he was lucid dreaming.
Nick's hands glided along your thighs as they gripped you from behind, squeezing gently. You had kissed him, and his entire body was on fire.
“Kiss me,” you said in a hoard whisper, almost desperate, waiting for Nick to respond to your first move.
Nick was hesitant and nervous as he pulled himself closer to your lips, brushing over them gently, before closing the gap between you.
You sighed into his mouth, relieved as Nick reciprocated feelings, allowing yourself to relax into his touch, body heating as his hands roamed behind you, squeezing gently at the skin.
You deepened the kiss, pushing your lips firmly into his, closed-mouth kisses opening with each wave, allowing your hands to roam into his hair, tugging softly on the strands.
Nicks's body convulsed below you, and he pulled away, staring up at you with awe.
“Want to go upstairs?” You asked, and he nodded eagerly as you crawled off of him. Nick grabbed your hand hastily as he pulled you behind him, the journey up the stairs feeling like it dragged on forever.
The music pumped below you as Nick closed his bedroom door, the sound dampening ever so slightly, the floor shaking with the bass.
Nick immediately shoved you into the wall, lips all over yours in desperation, devouring you, years of pent-up need coming out full throttle.
His hand roamed up your body underneath your torn long sleeve, granting himself access to all the curves he’d dreamed of touching. The number of times he touched himself, fantasizing about your taste, left his knees weak as he let his mouth explore yours, finally.
You moaned against Nick's lips as he fondled your chest, his hands searching very crevasse of your being through years of missed opportunity. You moulded into his touch, feeling excited as your abdomen vibrated in complete want for the man holding you against the wall.
Nick's fingers lingered underneath your skirt before pulling it up gently, grazing between your panties before roaming back up.
You moaned against the subtle tease, eyebrows furrowing as you pulled away from his kiss.
“Nick, please, don’t tease me,” you whined, pressing your forehead against his own.
Silver eyes bore into you as his lips tugged up into a sly smile, “if you don’t like my teasing, why are you moaning?”
Nick’s fingers roamed between your legs again, gently pressing where you needed him most and a feral sound escaped your lips, leaving you embarrassed. Nick stared at you with lust, almost in shock by how you were reacting to him. Nick allowed his fingers to glide between your body and underwear, feeling between your folds. His already hard body pulsing even deeper as he felt how soaked you were; all for him.
“Please,” you said as he touched you.
“Please don’t stop Nicky,” you whispered as his hand dipped between your layers. Nick planned to make her soar, but first, he loved hearing you beg for him, and only him.
“What do you want,” Nick's lips brushed across yours, this unknown confidence sending his hormones to the moon. The woman of his dreams was wriggling beneath him, desperate for anything he had to offer.
“I need you,” you said, pulling his face into yours again, allowing your tongue to explore his mouth, tasting all of him. “I want you to fuck me so hard I can’t even walk.”
Nick almost melted at your words, his heart beating so fast in disbelief. You want him to pleasure you.
He nodded eagerly, pulling you towards his bed, and tossing the Star Wars bed sheets aside. Nick pushed you into the bed, on top of you with all of his weight, allowing himself to dominate over your body.
Kissing down your neck your hands roamed across his back, and finally, he stared you down.
“Are you sure you want to do this Y/N? Because there is no way we are just fucking friends after this. You’re mine.”
You shuddered at Nick's possession, nodding, “I’ve always wanted to do a little more than kiss.”
Nick blushed, kissing you again before letting his lips trail down your neck, sucking on the delicate skin that lay between your neck and collarbone.
“You’re mine.” He said, marking what was his property before turning your body so you were above him.
“Ride me until your legs start shaking from the pleasure. Let me fuck you so deep you can’t even think about anybody else ever again; then I’ll flip you over and drill you to finish it off.” Nick growled, and your eyes widened at this needy side of Nick you’ve never seen before, but you were ready to give him anything he wanted.
Nick pulled off his robes, leaving his body exposed for you, you pulled off your sweater, showing off your chest and Nick's eyes devoured you, absorbing everything you showed him. He’d dreamed of this moment and what you looked like many times: but even his mind couldn’t come up with anything as beautiful as the real thing.
“Fuck you’re gorgeous,” he worshipped you allowing his hands to follow your curves once again. He pulled up your skirt, exposing your lower body as he moved your underwear to the side, positioning himself below you.
“I can’t believe you wore a skirt this small with no fucking shorts,” Nick mumbled, preparing himself.
“I wore it just for you,” you smiled, before closing the gap and pushing down onto Nick’s body, your arousal gliding you smoothly along him. Both of you groaned in disbelief, Nick relishing in how good you felt wrapped around him, his body finally reaching every part of you.
Your mouth opened widely as Nick filled you, a squeak of shock tugging at your throat as Nick squeezed your sides, pulling you up and down to get you to move.
You slid up and down his body with ease, hands on his chest for support as you road him, rolling and grinding deeper into his body, Nick hitting every point possible. Nick wrapped his arms around your back, pulling you into his chest as he began pounding into you from below, putting all of his effort into fucking you.
“Moan for me Y/N,” Nick begged, “show everyone who’s fucking mine.”
Nick's hands gripped the back of your head, fingers tangled in his hair. Every ounce of his body vibrated as he fucked you, his hips slapping against your thighs as you straddled his lap, taking everything he offered. He gave you his everything, never fucking anyone as hard as you, wanting to make you feel good.
Nick couldn’t believe how fucking beautiful you were as you cried out his name, the syllabus rolling off your tongue in complete satisfaction; and Nick knew that he would cum at any moment. He slowed his pace, wanting this to last forever.
Your nails dug into Nick’s shoulders as you clung to him, taking him well. Nick hoped you were loud enough against the music so Noah would hear; he wanted him to know that you finally got what was rightfully his.
You moaned Nick’s name as your stomach churned, nearing your release; Nick repeatedly hitting your spot over and over. You closed your eyes in ecstasy, your body turning limp as you screamed, shaking and convulsing against Nick through your orgasm.
Nick pushed into you, and you swear if he fucked any harder he’d be able to split you in half with how deep he penetrated.
“Where can I come?” Nick asked, on the brink of his climax. Y/N’s skin stuck against Nick’s chest.
“Fuck, inside of me,” you cried, pushing yourself against Nick’s hips, the only sounds filling the room were the sound of fast slaps and a string of moans fighting against the bass of the music below.
“Oh my god Y/N I’m going to I’m going-“ Nick’s fingers dug into your back, tearing your skin as he shook below you, twitching inside through his orgasm. You kissed him deeply, moaning against his lips in complete satisfaction as his release filled you, taking over your body.
“Fuck,” your head swung back, a wide smile parting your lips before you looked down at him, still sitting on top of his body.
“That’s the first time I’ve ever heard you moan,” Nick smiled, satisfied as he rolled you over, pulling him into his chest, “it was fucking music to my ears.”
You chuckled, nuzzling against his chest, “So, friends off?”
Nick joined you, his throat vibrating as he laughed, “Oh yea, I’m ready to move to the stage where we can fuck whenever we want. Oh, and I can take you to dinner and we can hold hands.”
You smiled, holding yourself closer to him, “Deal, but only if I can suck you off next time.”

Hi! can you write the Crystal Gems with a DIO-like gem! Reader? Except Reader's not evil, just crazy and overly dramatic lol
How the Crystal Gems met Reader: Reader was found by Steven and the Gems as a gemstone(kinda like Lapis) in an abandoned mansion, or was it?
Unfortunately, a burglar was also in the mansion and he tries to grab the gemstone from Steven. Said gemstone, aka Reader, regenerates and beats up the poor burglar to a pulp rather quickly before the Gems do.
(basically, Reader saved Steven without realizing it lol)
You were a bloodstone, a type of quartz so your purpose was to fight. Your didn't like the class separation between gems. So, you joined the rebellion. During the war you were a formidable force on the battle field with a sharp mind But you were poofed and were added to a piece of pottery that was handed down in a noble family. The Crystal Gems heard word of a haunted mansion and wanted to see if it was gem related.
Steven had gotten separated from the others, lost and confused he wandered around the mansion. When Steven finds the vase with you in it, he tries to find a way to get you out. He didn't know a burglar was also there. Grabbing the vase from Steven the brief game of tug of war was ended when the vase broke. The burglar grabbed you gem before Steven could, then it started to glow. Next thing Steven knew, you hand punched the burglar. Standing tall in you heart headband, a jacket with a tight tank-top underneath, as well as chaps, heart knee pads, and green lipstick. Looking around, you see the small thing in front of you.
Steven "Hi, I'm Steven. What's your name?" Reader *dramatic voice* "I am the one, the only, Reader!" Pearl *worried mom voice* "Steven, are you ok? We heard a crash." Steven "Yeah, I found a gem"
When the Crystal gems run into the room, they puase when they see you. Garnet and Pearl remember you, and Rose told Amethyst about you. They stare in shock at seeing you, during the war You looked so different, during the war, you had worn an ornate dual-colored shirt and matching breeches, a large pair of boots, vambraces, a purple scarf around your neck, and two suspenders attached to a band around the waist. You looked different, it's clear that time wasn't kind to you. The Crystal Gems look at you in shock, they never knew what happened to you.
Pearl *tearing up* "Do... Do you remember us?" Reader *dramatic flare* "Of course I do! How could I forget my favorite pearl and my favorite fusion!"
You rush over and hug them, scooping up Steven and Amethyst. Steven has to let you know you're squeezing him to hard. When you let go Amethyst is confused by who you are. With a dramatic arm wave you introduce yourself to the smaller gem. Looking around the room, you ask where Rose is. If Garnet and Pearl are here, then Rose must be. That causes everyone to go silent, Pearl has to explain that Rose is gone, and never coming back. You're confused, but when Steven shows you his gemstone, you seem to get it.
Steven "So, do you want to come with us?" Reader "Sure! Hundreds of years alone can sure drive a gem mad" *Depressed crazy laughter*
Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst *Looking concerned for your mental state*
When you all wrap back to Beach City, you quickly moved into the crystal temple. Now, you live in the house with them and it causes chaos.
Your dramtic nature is a hit with Amethyst and Steven. You three get into all sorts of chaos together. The two teach you about humans and human stuff, I mean you were trapped in a jar. Steven shows you that he's Rose's son, and that he's Steven and not Rose. Is the most worried about your mental health. Wishes violence wasn't your first option when it comes to seeing someone new.
Steven *explaining how a toaster works* Reader *nodding along while not understanding a damn thing*
They love your dramtic flare, but there is a time and a place for it. When you say Greg for the first time, you had to be kept from attacking him. Once it's explained that Greg is not a threat, you two get along over music. You like exploring Beach City, but you don't like the seagulls. Amethyst introduces you to Beach City Pizza, the fry shop, and Vidalia. You get shown Chaps and horror movies by Steven and Sadie. Whenever you start only following orders, she has to remind you to follow yourself.
Amethyst "Reader, you don't need to only listen to Garnet." Reader "But Garnet is the leader." Amethyst "You can make your own choices!"
Pearl fills you in on what happened with the Gem War, and what happened to Rose. She fills you in on the parts you were missing after the war. She tries to help you heal mentally. Worries about the effects of being lonely helped you become more dramatic and crazy. Tries to keep you on track, and get you to chill out when it comes to fighting corrupted gems. She comments on your new form, asking what prompted these choices. Tries to help you be more soical with others.
Pearl "Why did you pick this form?" Reader "I thought it was cool, and I remember seeing things from human books." Pearl "I see..."
Garnet knows you're dramatic, but sometimes it bothers her. She is the main one redirecting you, telling you to be more serious on missions. Grabs you by the shoulders to give you the honest truth when you need it. She makes sure you know Ruby and Sapphire are ok. Helps you cope with your mental health, by reminding you that you're no longer alone.
Garnet "Reader, look at me." Reader *Looks at Garnet* Garnet "You do not need to choice violence as the first option." Reader "Why?" Garnet *Explains why violence shouldn't be the first option*
You're a dramatic, yet welcome addition to the Crystal Gems. Your mental health is still a mess, but now you don't have to go through it alone with only the thoughts bouncing around insdie your own head.

💫Let's win together?💫
✨Pairing: Mingi x gn!reader ✨Prompt: We're both playing for the same obscure item. This is the fifth arcade I've seen you at... Want to join forces? ✨Word count: 1.4k ✨Genre: fluff, strangers to friends, non idol au ☀️Authors note: I have never been to an arcade so apologies for my bad description of the arcade game lol, the left picture is what I was trying to describe😅 but what did you guys think? Did you like this one?💓
There he was, you had been looking for the tall man who you had seen at multiple arcades. The two of you had been next to each other at multiple games and you had overheard him complain to his friends about how it was darn near impossible to win the little penguin holding a little umbrella and wearing cute little rain boots and a little scarf.
It was said to be very rare and apparently the two of you had both been trying to win it and both had been equally unsuccessful in winning. Your plan had been to go and ask him to work with you and see if at least one of you could win the darn penguin. You kept glancing at him waiting for him to be alone, not wanting to go up and talk to him as he was surrounded by his friends.
His friends were all laughing with him and talking. It took around fifteen minutes before the group split up and the man was alone walking to the first game to play. That's when you walked towards him, sliding up next to him.
"Hello, sorry if this is weird but we're both playing for the same super rare penguin with the umbrella, the rain boots and the scarf. This is like the fifth arcade I've seen you at... Want to join forces to see if at least one of us could win it?" You said as he had turned to you in slight surprise when you had started to speak to him.
"Umm.. hi? Sorry you really shocked me." He said looking a bit flabbergasted at the fact that you had just slid up next to him to talk to him. You shifted your weight from on feet to the other when he looked at you not sure what to say next.
"Sorry I probably came across as like super weird just sliding up to you like this. Let me start over, hi I'm y/n, we've been playing next to each other at a few arcades and I over heard you want the penguin as well and thought that maybe if we joined together at least one of us would have the satisfaction of winning the cute penguin." you told him and a small smile morphed onto his face.
"I knew you looked familiar. I'm Mingi! Nice to meet you." He shakes your hand "you know what I wouldn't say no to working together with someone so good-looking like you to win the penguin." he said with a smile and a wink, now it was your turn to look at him slightly flabbergasted at the fact that he was so bold despite having looked at you with big eyes and a shocked face just a few mere seconds ago.
The two of you ended up laughing when you locked eyes after his comments finding the whole situation a bit weird yet funny.
"So shall we go to the two games where we can try and win the penguin with the crane?" you asked looking towards the two machines where a bunch of plushies were located.
"Sure let's go!"
The two of you took your places and put in some money to play for the penguin.
"So, what made you start hunting for the penguin and not something easier?" Mingi asked glancing at you with curious eyes before turning back to start moving his claw machine in hopes of getting the plushie.
"Oh I just thought It was really cute and I may or may not have gotten competitive when a friend of mine told me there is no way I could get it. So I wanted to prove them wrong!" You told him before groaning when you saw that the plushie you picked up was another penguin but not the one you wanted.
"Ah that's similar to me. Had a friend dare me to get it and I didn't get it so I lost that truth or dare round and decided I had to get the darn penguin."
The two of you were conversing, getting to know each other more and more as your pile of plushies on the ground next to you grew and grew. The two of you were sharing stories about your friends and laughing as you continued the game, Mingi decided to tell you a story about how his friend Wooyoung had gotten stuck in one of the games causing you to laugh even louder.
"Wait wait wait, you mean to tell me he got his arm stuck in a game like this one?" you asked having to stop playing to fully look at Mingi who were trying to keep his laughter in as he told the story.
"Yeah, he was trying to win a plushie for our friend Yeosang and it got stuck on the way out and instead of calling a worker for help he stuck his arm inside the space where the plush lands to try and reach it but he got stuck as well."
"I would have panicked if I were him and had gotten stuck, like can you imagine? I get like shivers just thinking about it." You confessed and he nodded
"Yeah I always worry now when I pick up the plushies I win that I will get stuck despite knowing that I won't because I'm not shoving my entire arm in there." He told you as he picked up another plush that he just won and dropping it into the pile you had now made joint.
It was big and people were beginning to stare as they walked past the two of you, not that neither of you cared you were too busy in your own world of chatting and playing to notice. It wasn't until a worker came up to the two of you that you realized how absurd it all looked.
"Um excuse me but I'm gonna have to ask the two of you to leave this game. You've played for far too long and the amount of plushies you have is enough." The worker told the two of you catching the both of you by surprise
"Oh im so sorry we didn't realize how many we had at this point." You told the worker whilst apologizing.
"Well stop playing we promise!" Mingi agreed, neither of you wanted to cause a scene so the two of you bent down to pick up all the random plushies as the worker walked away, happy the two of you would stop playing and let others play as well.
"Well... we sure got a lot of plushies but not our special little penguin." He said before giggling at the way the two of you were standing holding two gigant mountains of plushies.
"I can barely see because of all of the plushies." You said trying to see over them with barely any success.
"Why don't we go over to where my friends are hanging out, dumping them there and then going to another arcade to see if we can get our prize?" He asked looking over his own pile towards you.
"Sure! I would like that!" With that he lead the way to his friends to the best of his abilities. His friends were all talking and laughing until the two of you arrived with your mountains. That caused them to stop at the same moment Mingi dumped all of his plushies on the table before turning to help you unload yours as well.
"Hi everyone this is my new friend y/n. Can you guys watch our plushies for us? We're going to the arcade down the street to win that darn penguin plush! Great! Thank you!" Mingi said barely giving you time to say hello to his friends before he was steering you towards the exit. His friends were shouting a varying degrees of nice to meet you, yah Mingi and we'll call when we leave this place! As the two of you left them with the plushies.
Once outside you glanced at Mingi with a smirk before dashing off towards the next arcade shouting at him: "Last one there is a rotten egg!!"
"Yah!! That's not fair you got a head-start!!!" He shouted back before chasing after you to the next arcade. Neither of you really caring at this point if you got the penguin or not, just enjoying the new blossoming friendship between the two of you.

𝖲𝗇𝗈𝗐𝖿𝖺𝗅𝗅 - 𝖢.𝖲.
DISCLAIMER: This is my first Sturniolo fic and I have taken a longggg break from writing so I am very rusty. Sorry in advance that this most likely sucks. I'm also not great with fluff but I thought this was cute so I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think <3
Synopsis: In which Y/n finds the one person who brings joy to her life.
Warnings: Language, broken family (deceased father, alcoholic mother, troubled youth), fluff, cigarettes, very brief mention of drugs
Word Count: 2.4k+
“I WISH I WASN’T EITHER!” You screamed at your mother before slamming the door and walking out into the cold winter night. You grabbed a cigarette from your coat pocket and placed it between your teeth as you searched for your lighter. You brought it to the tip of your cigarette, flicking it a few times until it finally lit.
I wish you weren’t my daughter. The words echoed in your head as you made your way down the dimly lit street. Light snow fell from the sky and your neighborhood was silent, the fluffy white powder absorbing all sound. The space around you was liminal. It was nights like these that were perfect for clearing your head.
Chris’s POV
I heard Y/n yelling and I immediately turned my attention to the window. I slipped my headphones off, completely ignoring Matt and Nick and abandoning the game. I watched as Y/n clicked her lighter to light up her cigarette before walking off down the street. She looked sad. That wasn’t unusual. Especially this time of year.
I’d grown up next to Y/n my whole life. I’d dare to even say she is my friend. Although maybe she doesn’t feel the same about me? She was confusing at times. She was often quiet and kept to herself at school. She was really kind. But I’d also seen her lay someone out before for disrespecting her. She was smart as hell but always managed to end up in detention and for some reason I found myself getting into situations to get detention just so I could hang out with her.
Obviously, my parents didn’t love that but she was so intriguing. The whole neighborhood knew of her situation. Her mom definitely wasn’t the most pleasant neighbor. Y/n tried to escape that as much as she could but she was still viewed as the “troubled kid” growing up. Now we are 18 and on the verge of graduating. I was beginning to fear that she’d be gone soon. She’d told me before how she couldn’t wait to get out of this town, that there was nothing keeping her here.
Where would you go? I texted her.
Idk. Maybe the Outer Banks? Learn to surf, search for treasure, live like a Pogue. Lol. She responded.
We didn’t always stay up late texting but when we did our conversations were always interesting. I was always excited to see my phone screen light up with her name. It wasn’t constant, but often enough that Matt and Nick began to notice.
“Who are you texting?” Nick asked one day.
“Yeah, you smile like a goof every time you look at your phone.” Matt added.
“No one,” I responded quickly.
“That’s a fucking lie. Who is it?” Nick asked again. Matt quickly snatched my phone from my hands and ran away with it.
“Matt, what the fuck!” I yelled as I attempted to chase him. Matt tossed it over my head and Nick caught it at the perfect time for Y/n to text me back. My phone lit up with her name and photo and Nick's jaw dropped.
“Y/n?!”
“Ew, the weird bitch?” Matt added.
“She’s not fucking weird!” I snapped, grabbing my phone back. “Don’t fucking worry about it.” I stormed off to my room and since then they haven’t brought it up. Which was fine by me. They didn’t take the time to get to know her, no one did. She was actually cool as fuck.
I thought about texting her as I watched her walk further down the street. But it just didn’t feel right. I wanted to talk to her in person.
“Dude! What are you doing?” Matt burst through my door. “You totally fucked me and Nick in the game!”
“I’m done playing for now.” I told him as I went to my closet to grab my coat and snow boots.
“Where are you going?”
“I’ll be back in a bit, okay?”
“Chris!”
I hated keeping things from my brothers but this was something I didn’t feel like discussing with them further. They made it clear they didn’t care about Y/n. The only time they ever made comments is when they noticed her and her mom fighting. They knew she was my friend and that’s all they needed to know. All I cared about was catching up with Y/n and making sure she was okay. It was absolutely freezing outside.
I left out the backdoor without responding to Matt and made my way down the street.
Y/n’s POV
You let the tears fall freely from your eyes as you dragged your cigarette. One more semester until you graduate and then you could leave this god awful suburb for the rest of your life. After your dad died when you were just thirteen, your mom took all her anger out on you. The last five years had been miserable. You missed your dad. You missed when your mom didn’t drink. You missed when you were a regular family. Now you were just the girl everyone felt sorry for. The troubled one.
You made your way to the small pond near the end of your neighborhood. You were ready to sit and let the stillness of the water distract you until you heard footsteps behind you. Your body tensed, nervous for who would be out here at this hour. You reached in your pocket and grabbed your knife, quickly pulling it and turning it on the person walking your way.
“Whoa, whoa!” The dark figure said, stopping in his tracks with his hands up. “It’s me! Chris!”
“Chris?” You asked softly, lowering your knife. He stepped forward. It was indeed Chris Sturniolo. You took a deep breath at the sight of him. “You scared the fuck out of me!” You scolded.
“I’m sorry…” He said. Unsure if he should walk closer or not.
“It’s fine,” You chuckled. “What are you doing out here?”
“Oh, you know, just enjoying the freezing weather.” He said, smiling and stepping closer to you.
“It’s lovely, isn’t it?” You joke as your teeth chattered.
“What are you doing out here, Y/n?” Chris asks, his voice more serious now.
“Just needed some air.” You told him. “I like this pond in the summer. There are lots of frogs. I wonder where they all go in the winter…” Your face fell as you pondered the thought.
“Y/n..”
You sniffled as you looked down at the pond. Chris always knew. “What.” You responded. It wasn’t a question.
“You have mascara running down your cheeks.”
Christopher Sturniolo might have been the only person to ever see you cry. He always knew and he was always there. It was a rare occasion but as you thought back on it, he always seemed to appear when you were sad and find a way to cheer you up. Whether it be walking home with you, trying to make you laugh, or even just sitting next to you silently so you wouldn’t be alone.
“She said she wishes I wasn’t her daughter.” You confessed, allowing your head to fall. Chris wasted no time in wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into him. Normally you hated being touched but you felt so comfortable with him. He wrapped one hand around your lower back and the other made its way to your hair as he towered just above you.
“I’m sorry, Y/n. You deserve so much more.” He said softly.
You cried more at his words. In what world did you deserve more? In what world did you deserve Chris?
“Y/n, you’re freezing.”
“Yeah, I know. I’ll call Billy-”
“No. Come to my house.” He cut you off.
You were taken aback for a moment. You hadn’t been to the Sturniolo’s since their 13th birthday party. The only reason you were invited was because your father died. You couldn’t imagine his parents or brothers actually liked you.
“Chris, I can’t just intrude like that-”
“You’re not intruding. And I don’t want you at Billy’s.” He stated. You’d never heard the sweet Chris Sturniolo sound so serious about something. Billy definitely wasn’t the best guy but he always gave you a place to stay when you needed it. “I don’t trust him.”
Chris had no reason to trust him. Billy was a dick and often fucked people over. But having him as a connect meant a place to stay and drugs to do as long as you put out or helped him out. But to be invited to Chris’s house made you nervous. His parents were sweet. His brothers were protective. Chris bringing you home would be like bringing home a stray raccoon.
“Chris, I can’t.” You sigh.
“Why not?”
“Because it’s not a good look sneaking some degenerate into your home at midnight,”
“I will walk you through the front door proudly,” He says. “Besides, my parents are asleep and my brothers are too invested in their game. Just come over for a bit to warm up? We can listen to music in my room.”
You thought about it for a moment.
“If you hate it, you live right across the street,” He smiled hopefully at you,
You couldn’t help but smile back at him. “Fine.” You say. “But just for a little bit! Once my mom is asleep I’m going home.”
“Deal.” Chris agreed, throwing his arm over your shoulder and guiding you back towards the street.
The two of you walked back to his house with minimal conversation.
“Wanna catch snowflakes?” Chris asked before sticking his tongue out and letting the snow fall on it.
You giggled at him but followed his lead. The crisp flakes on your tongue felt nice. You were having fun jumping around in the snow with Chris. You even stopped at the park to make stupid snow angels and throw snowballs at each other. Before you knew it, the snow was getting heavier, almost blizzarding.
“C’mon!” Chris yelled, grabbing your hand and running towards his house.
You made it to his porch and he opened the door slowly. The kitchen was mostly dark aside from the microwave light being on and the light that shined underneath Nick’s door. You could hear him still awake, obviously yelling at a video game he was playing.
Chris put a finger to his lips, gesturing for you to be quiet as you both slipped out of your boots. He grabbed your hand and you both tiptoed through the dimly lit house and up to his room. You made your way down the hall and followed Chris into his bedroom.
“Make yourself at home,” He said with a smile. He went to his computer and logged into his Spotify. You scanned his room, noticing all the posters of his favorite artists on his walls. You could tell he was passionate about music.
“Who’s your favorite?” You ask. He looks at you and you gestured to all the posters.
“Skies, for sure!” He says. “What about you?”
You unzip your coat to reveal the shirt you got at Grey Day last year. “$uicideboy$”
Chris smiles at you. “I’ve never really listened to them. What’s a good song?”
“A Death In The Ocean Would Be Beautiful,” You say as you slip off your coat and sit on his bed.
Chris turns on his galaxy projector so that wave-like colors flow across his ceiling before he presses play and joins you on his bed. You both lay back and listen intently as you watch the lights.
“They’re kind of depressing…” Chris admits after the song is over.
You chuckle slightly. “Yeah, they can be. But they can be helpful. They get it, you know? What I’m going through.”
Chris turns on his side and you mirror his movements as if you were his natural reflection. “I hate hearing it every night.” He admits.
Your body curls into itself, you pull your sleeves further over your hands. “I’m sorry…”
“No, not like that,” He says, propping himself up on one arm and placing his other on your shoulder, gently tangling his fingers through the ends of your hair. “I just hate hearing you guys fight and seeing you walk out in the cold every night. You don’t deserve that.”
“Trust me, Chris. I’m no saint.” You say with a sad laugh.
“Don’t have to be a saint to deserve basic respect, especially from your own family.”
“I only have to deal with it for a few more months. When I graduate, I’m out of here.” You smiled at the thought.
“You know…I’m really going to miss you…” Chris says softly.
You look up to see his eyes already on you. You wanted to tell him you’d miss him too. You wanted to tell him to come with you, although you knew he’d never leave his brothers. You wanted to tell him he was the only good thing in your life and every time you were near him you felt happy and warm and like everything was going to be okay for once in your miserable fucking life. But with every single thought your brain contained about Chris Sturniolo, your mouth could only mutter three little words.
“I love you…”
Chris’s lips parted slightly with shock as his eyes quickly scanned your features.
“Fuck! I’m sor-”
You were quickly cut off when he pressed his lips to yours. You were taken aback for a moment but quickly leaned in to deepen the kiss. He brought his hand up to cup your jaw and your fingers found their way to his hair. His lips were soft and sweet and you felt that fluttering feeling in the pit of your stomach that you hadn’t felt in a long, long time.
He pulled away slightly and you frowned at the loss of contact. “I’ve wanted to do that for a long fucking time…” He said, his voice almost a whisper.
“I-I didn’t know you liked me…” You said. “Why?”
“Why wouldn’t I?” You’re smart, you’re sweet, you know what you want, and pretty as hell.” He smiled. “Not to mention you’re like the strongest person I know. You deserve so much better than the cards you’ve been dealt.”
You felt tears welling in your eyes again but you couldn’t help but smile. You don’t know what you did to deserve the pretty boy who had his arms wrapped around you, but you hoped you never had to let him go.
“Can I stay?” You asked shyly.
Chris smiled and pulled his comforter over both of you. “Please,” He said.
You snuggled into him, resting your head on his chest while he played with your hair.
“And Y/n?” He said, placing a kiss on your forehead.
“Mmm?”
“I love you, too.”

Never Say Goodbye - Part 4
Pairing: Dean x Female Reader
Summary: The first time you and Dean sensed each other’s thoughts and feelings, you were just kids. It would take years to realize that you both were bonded for life, and even longer to finally meet. [Soulmate AU] (Rated M for eventual scenes – 18+)
Word Count: 4,400 Warnings: Language, cliffhangers (lol).
Part 4: Guessing Game
The next morning was a Wednesday. Despite the monumental, life-changing things that happened yesterday, unfortunately, you still had to go to work. You also had three class finals to finish.
Still, you woke invigorated with a new energy you had never felt before because you had finally, finally met your soulmate.
…Okay, not so much met him, but at least you had shared a telepathic conversation! That still counted!
…No matter how actually insane that sounded.
So you got ready for your day with an added pep in your step. You dressed “work casual”: white blouse tucked into a black skirt, tights because of the cold, black boots, and your favorite red winter coat. It hung to about your knees, so it would protect your legs. You even had the energy to put on some makeup and style your hair a little, fixing the frizzy kinks into some smoother waves down your back.
You looked into the mirror and you felt proud of your reflection. Not just how you looked, but of how you were able to carry yourself with your head held high.
With your purse and books gathered, you ventured downstairs and found your dad already puttering through the kitchen. You accepted the mug of coffee he offered and sipped at it while you packed a lunch.
Hmm, getting low on groceries. I’ll have to swing by the store on the way home, you thought.
There was one other thing that snagged in your mind, and that was having to reschedule your visit with Bobby. After you “hung up” with your soulmate (who frustratingly refused to give you his name yet), you realized how late it was and called your uncle for a rain check. But you fully intended to keep your word and visit him today, after work.
Now, you eyed your dad as he read the paper at the small kitchen nook. You took your coffee and sat down across from him (you still had a few minutes before you had to leave).
“How’s the world?” you asked him, nodding at the newspaper.
“Great,” he replied dryly. “Just one big dumpster fire.”
The corner of your mouth quirked upwards. “Any local flames?”
Jack sighed and lowered the paper, meeting her eyes. “Unfortunately, yes. You carry pepper spray, don’t you?”
You nodded. “Of course.”
“And your handgun? Where’d you put it?” he asked. You frowned.
Your father was a cop and this was the Midwest. You did have a concealed carrier’s permit, but you weren’t allowed to have your gun on you at school, so you typically stored it in the nightstand by your bed. Jack knew that.
“What’s going on?” you asked.
“There’s been a series of home invasions across town, two of them in our neighborhood,” he said, giving you a firm look. “Watch yourself when you leave the house, when you head to your car, when you leave campus.”
“I know, Dad,” you replied. “By the way…are you planning on going to see Mom today? I didn’t get a chance to go yesterday, so we could go together if you want.”
You were attempting to lend an olive branch after yesterday’s argument. Jack, however, wasn’t getting the hint.
“I can’t.” He shook his head and tapped at the newspaper headline. “I’m actually heading this case…most of these have been what we call ‘push-ins.’”
“What’s a push-in?” you asked. You could guess, but you didn’t like how serious your dad was right now.
“Let’s say someone knocks at the door. You’re not expecting anyone, not even the pizza guy. What do you do?” Jack asked.
“Check who it is through the peephole,” you answer.
“What if your door doesn’t have one?”
This was easy. Your father had drilled this into you since you were eight years old. “Ask who it is through the door. Don’t open it unless you know them, or unless you can smell pizza through the door crack.”
“Good. Most people will just open the door without checking,” Jack said. “The guy shoves his way in and attacks you. That’s a push-in.”
Goddamn. You didn't know there was a name for that.
“And how many of these have happened so far?” you asked.
“Four that we know of,” he replied. “It hasn’t hit the news yet but…Mrs. Jenkins was killed last night. We found the poor thing literally clutching her pearls.”
You blanched, setting down your coffee. Shock hit you first, then sadness. Mrs. Jenkins was the sweet old lady who used to make cookies for Sunday school when you were a kid. She’d given you $50 for college textbooks when you graduated from high school, and then flowers when you graduated with your bachelor’s degree.
Your eyes burned with emotion. “I can’t believe it. He was after her pearls?”
“I imagine she didn’t want to give ‘em up,” Jack said. “Or she held on out of reflex. When you’re afraid, logic tends to fly out the window.”
You understood that, but you couldn’t believe she’d died for her jewelry. You rubbed the silver ring on your right hand and rationalized to yourself. You knew you could give up your mom’s ring if it meant the difference between that and a bullet in your brain.
Your dad was still telling you to be careful when you left the house that morning. He only nagged and rode your ass about your future career because he cared. You knew that. But the nagging was a test of your ever-thinning patience.
Once you got on the road, you had an hour to kill on your commute. Then a flash of an idea occurred to you, making you smile. With a deep breath, you sought that thread of energy inside your mind. You didn’t know if this would work. It wouldn’t be long until you were driving away from Sioux Falls and headed to Vermillion, but you hoped the connection would win out.
The thread brightened with your focus on it, and suddenly you could feel him. Your soulmate.
Good morning, sleepyhead, you greeted cheerfully. His response was more sluggish.
No, it ain’t.
His grumpy voice made you laugh. Aw, someone’s grouchy in the morning.
This lumpy couch killed my back, he complained. And I could hear my brother’s snoring from downstairs.
So he had a brother. That was an interesting tidbit of information you’d save for later. You smiled.
You’re a cute grouch.
Excuse me, princess. I’m not a “cute” anything. He sounded mildly offended, but you sensed he was just as amused as you.
So what’s your brother’s name? you asked.
He hesitated, but eventually he replied, His name’s Sam.
Okay, so his brother’s name was safe, but his name had to be a mystery. And his job. That annoyed you, though you supposed it was part of the game.
What’re you up to? he asked.
On my way to work.
Oh, yeah? What do you do?
Even though you shook your head at the hypocrisy of his question, you decided to answer honestly. Well, I’m finishing up grad school next semester. This week is finals, then we break until January. But I also work part-time for one of my professors as her assistant.
Look at you, he said with a whistle. Beauty and brains.
You quirked a smile. If only your dad were that impressed. Technically you haven’t confirmed the “beauty” bit. I could be a potato with legs for all you know.
You sensed rather than heard his laughter.
Nah, a voice that sexy can’t be Potato Girl.
You blushed up to your ears at that one. No one had ever described your voice that way. Quiet, mousy yes—and mainly by Dr. Birch—but never sexy.
Your soulmate was definitely a flirt, if nothing else.
Hmm, you had that line locked and loaded, didn’t you?
Nope. That was fresh, sweetheart, he said. I’m just that creative.
Sure, you laughed again. It’s already 9:00 a.m. Don’t you have somewhere to be?
Yeah, now that you mention it. I’ve gotta get going to work too.
That was disappointing, but at least you’d learned something new. Your soulmate wasn’t a morning person, and he had a brother.
Do you and your brother both have the same mystery job?
…Yeah, actually. We work together, he said. Good question, Nancy Drew.
Yes! You smiled in triumph.
You made a few more guesses about his job: police officer, teacher, leader of a biker gang—all of which were apparently wrong.
But keep ‘em comin’, he said. You’ll get it eventually.
You let out an annoyed huff. But then you felt his amusement, like he was genuinely enjoying himself while talking with you. That warmed you up enough for now.
After a long day at the university, you relished coming home knowing you only had two more days until winter break.
You stopped at the grocery store on the way home, like you’d planned, but now you regretted it. There were only two cashiers open despite a packed store. Ugh. Just my luck.
You chose the one that didn’t have a screaming child throwing his mother’s apples out of the cart, but you did stop to help her pick them up.
“Thanks, hun,” she said tiredly. You nodded with a sympathetic smile.
“How old is he?” you asked.
“Two and a half,” she said. You tried to hide your reaction, but she gave a wry smile and returned to her child.
Good luck, you wanted to say, but you kept that yourself and returned to your cart. As the line inched forward, you wondered if you wanted kids.
Never really thought about it before, you could admit. You supposed there was a lot to consider, but maybe most importantly: It has to be with the right person.
You wondered if your soulmate was that person, or if having kids one day (or not) was going to be a dealbreaker for him.
Then you snorted, shaking your head. Okay, you’re getting very ahead of yourself. You haven’t even met the man.
“Hey, look who it is!”
The cashier’s voice startled you from your thoughts. When you broke out of your reverie, you realized you were at the front of the line, and Danny Schmitt was once again your checkout guy. Part of you withered, but you tried at a polite smile as you busied yourself by emptying your cart on the conveyer belt. “Hey, Danny. How’re you doing?”
“Been good. And yourself? You look good,” he said. He wasn’t very discreet about checking you out. You blushed, but more from discomfort than flattery.
“Thanks,” you said, a bit awkwardly, and started bagging the groceries he rang up.
“What have you been up to?” he asked. “Every time I see you, you’re dressed up like you’re goin’ to a Broadway show or something.”
Broadway? You glanced down at your work casual blouse and skirt. To the movie theater, maybe. Less Mamma Mia and more Magic Mike.
“I like it though. Skirt and boots, always a sexy combo,” Danny said, and gave you a wink. You had no doubt that many a girl had swooned at the move, but you were less charmed and more annoyed. You finished bagging your stuff and paid with your credit card in silence.
The high school version of yourself would’ve blushed at Danny’s attention. After stapling his fingers together in freshman year, he’d gone through a growth spurt the next. He’d joined the wrestling team, and paired with his light blonde hair and square jaw, the girls hadn’t stopped stumbling over themselves to get with him.
After high school, though, Danny didn’t get that sports scholarship for college. It also looked like he didn’t have the drive for anything else, either. He’d worked this same job at the Piggly Wiggly since you graduated six years ago.
All right, check your privilege, you reminded yourself, feeling guilty for judging him. Not everyone’s cut out for college. You don’t even know exactly what you want to do with your life.
“Have a good one,” he said, handing you the receipt. “And hey, let me know if you want to get a coffee sometime, or dinner. Flannigan’s has a two-for-one special on beer pitchers…I’ll pay. Or, you know, we could split it. You know, equality and all that. Hell, even you could pay if you wanted to.” He laughed.
Tempting, you thought. Though you’d have to remember about that two-for-one special. Uncle Bobby might want to make that your beer pilgrimage tonight.
“You know, I’ve been pretty busy lately,” you said, trying your best at a smile. “But I’ll let you know!”
Maybe it was rude of you, but you didn’t give him a chance to reply as you took your cart and waved goodbye.
Bobby welcomed you into his home, with what could only be described as a “gruff smile.” You shed your winter coat, but finding no hooks on the wall, you just draped it over the back of the living room couch.
“Come in,” he beckoned with a hand. “Don’t mind the mess. I was just finishing up some…work.”
Indeed, there were several books strewn across the coffee table, the dining table, the little accent table next to the couch—basically every available space in the living room was covered with books, manuscripts, and loose papers. Your eyes scanned over some of them. Raising a brow, you picked up one of the books.
“Omens, Trials, and Tribulations: A Guided Study on the Book of Revelation,” you read, and gave Bobby a curious look. “Doing some light reading alongside the New King James?”
Bobby shrugged. “It’s a hobby.”
Somehow you didn’t think that was the whole story, but you smiled in amusement. Then you noticed some rumpled bed sheets on the couch, a green duffle bag dumped on the floor.
“Do you have someone staying over? Should I come back another day?” you asked.
“Nah, I’ve got a couple of knuckleheads staying over, but they’re not here right now,” he said. “I sent them to work on somethin’.”
“Oh, towing a car for you?” you asked.
“More like, checking out a possible job,” he explained, though that didn’t really explain anything at all. It left you even more curious as you got the sense he was leaving something out again, but you didn’t press it. Instead, you followed him into the kitchen.
“Want a beer?” he asked.
“That’s why I’m here,” you joked. “Dad drinks ‘em like a fish. By the time I get home, the fridge is damn-near empty.”
“How is he?” Bobby handed you the beer and you took it gratefully.
“He’s the same. Buried in cases. I made him something before I left, for when he gets home,” you replied. Then you sighed and sat down at the two-seater table in the kitchen. “He didn’t even go to visit Mom on the anniversary.”
Just then, you realized something. You hadn’t actually visited Mom either, because you’d been distracted…hearing your soulmate’s thoughts for the first time.
Damn it…
Well, in this case your mom would probably forgive you, but you felt guilty all the same. You slid your ring around your finger absently.
Bobby sat across from you at the table. “The past can be a hard thing to let go of, but the real bitch of it is, it’s also hard remembering.”
You nodded in agreement.
“How’re you doin’ then?” he asked. Instead of a customary fine, or busy, you actually thought about it.
“Yesterday…I don’t know. I felt stuck. Like, I was hanging onto the train but I wasn’t in the driver’s seat,” you admitted. “Today, I woke up and things were different.”
“That’s specific,” Bobby remarked. You shot him a wry smile.
“I don’t know. I’ve spent a long time just, like…trudging through the snow. Trying to keep the flurries out of my eyes,” you said. “But for the first time, I feel like I can see the sun, you know? There’s a reason to hope things might change. Like something good is coming my way.”
Bobby’s mouth lifted into a subtle grin. “Very poetic. You should think about writin’ for Hallmark.”
You uttered an incredulous laugh. “All right. See if I pour my heart out to you again. God.”
“My apologies, princess,” Bobby said dryly. “Okay. In all seriousness, you’ve got a lot goin’ for ya, kid. You’ve got a right to be optimistic.”
You nodded with a superior smile. “Thank you.”
“Listen, I’ve got a lasagna waiting in the oven. You want any part of that?” he asked.
Your uncle was asking if you wanted to stay for dinner. You considered it and realized he was trying to connect with you. It wasn’t the first time he’d offered, and you regretted declining his loose invitations in the past.
“Sure,” you said. “Lasagna sounds great.”
“All right.” He nodded. “Gimme a sec.”
You had never understood the seemingly one-sided animosity between your dad and your uncle. Sure, Bobby was known as the town drunk. He’d gotten arrested a few times for publicly intoxicated antics, but he wasn’t belligerent. He wasn’t a bad man by any means.
“You know, speaking of Italian. I like making spaghetti and meatballs, the latter from scratch,” you said. “Maybe I could make some next time.”
Bobby glanced over at you with a bit of surprise. “Uh…sure.”
You smiled.
Later, as you and Bobby shared a meal together, you caught up on safe subjects, like how his business was going. He likewise asked you about your job. You admitted Dr. Birch was driving you up the wall this week. She’d asked you to grade two more of her classes’ final exams, putting you behind on your thesis draft.
But then you drew enough courage to delve into not-so-safe subjects.
“All right, I’ve gotta know,” you said. “Why the hell did you and my dad fall out, Bobby? What is this thing?”
Bobby looked very reluctant. “It’s complicated.”
You stared back at him for a moment. Curiosity was eating at you, but you didn’t want to push either. Today was going well. Maybe it was better not to spoil it.
“Complicated,” you echoed, smiling ruefully. “Right.”
After you two finished dinner and the dishes were cleared, you thanked Bobby and surprised him with a hug. His arms came around you briefly before you both let go, just a little awkwardly.
You put on your coat and headed out the door, until his voice stopped you on the porch.
“Look, regardless of where your dad and I stand, you’re family,” Bobby said. “You’re always welcome here.”
You gave a warm smile. “Thanks, Uncle Bobby.”
Then you returned to your Camaro and drove away from Singer Salvage, waving to his through your window as you went.
You made a left at the main road going west, so you didn’t see the black Impala come in from the east road, turning into Bobby’s driveway.
“What were those smooth wheels doing pulling out of this junk heap?” Dean jabbed a thumb behind him as he and Sam came into the house. They’d gotten nothing from that potential lead on John Winchester’s whereabouts, and neither of them were in a great mood. But the smell of food cheered up both of them, especially Dean.
“What?” Bobby asked.
“That blue ’93 Camaro Z28 that just peeled outta here. She was nice,” Dean said. Sam glanced at him, impressed. Dean smirked, an Aw, yeah, I know my shit kind of look.
Bobby smiled in amusement. “My niece stopped by for dinner.”
Sam shared a look of mild surprise with Dean, who said, “That’s a shame. Would’ve liked to meet her.”
Bobby shot him a warning look. “Down, boy. Like you need any help findin’ dance partners.”
Dean grinned. Sam nearly rolled his eyes.
“The lead didn’t pan out,” Sam said. “So we’re gonna head out in the morning, if that’s all right.”
“Fine,” Bobby shrugged. “Drink my beer, eat my food, and run up my water bill. Just do me a favor and clean up after yourselves. I don’t need a roach infestation.”
“What, don’t you think the rats need company?” Dean teased. Bobby raised a warning finger at him, making Dean hold back a laugh.
Bobby went upstairs for bed soon after, and Dean gave Sam first shower this time. It was good timing too…
Dean realized he could hear his soulmate again.
You were rocking out to a Billy Joel song.
He smirked. Figures.
As you drove home blasting “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” you chanted along with the long verses, sometimes forgetting words, sometimes stumbling and saying them wrong. But you came in strong with the part you knew: We didn’t start the fiiire. It was always buuurnin’ since the world’s been tuuurnin’—
Figures, your soulmate’s voice cut through everything else. It almost startled you, but feeling his amusement made you blush hotly.
He laughed, and it was a rich sound that made something flutter in your stomach.
Sorry. Didn’t mean to interrupt the performance. But come on, ‘80s pop?
You scoffed. All right, Mr. Power Ballad. Billy Joel is pop rock.
Gotta say, I expected better from you, sweetheart, he teased.
Ugh, you sound like such an old man. Tell me you don’t just listen to mullet rock, you rejoined.
All right. Let’s take an inventory, shall we? he challenged. ACDC. Led Zeppelin. Boston.
You made a face as you continued to drive through your hometown. You knew these streets like the back of your hand, even in the pitch black of eleven at night.
Yes to Zeppelin. The other two are…loud, you said. You heard him sigh, but he accepted this.
Fine, how about Hendrix?
Absolutely. You smiled. I take your Hendrix and raise you Prince and Beyonce.
Prince, yes. You can keep Beyonce, he said. Sorry, I’m not Team BeyHive.
You chortled in response. The fact that you know what that means give me hope. At least you’re aware that you live in the 2000s.
Whatever. I was raised on two things: classic rock and the open road.
His grumpiness was entertaining, but this gave you an excellent opportunity to play your little game.
The open road, huh? Are you some kind of traveling salesman? you asked.
Definitely not.
Hmm. Perhaps he sensed your frustration. He surprised you by giving you a hint.
Travel is part of it though.
Aha! I knew it.
Oh yeah? How?
This morning you said you were sleeping on a couch, you began. You typically don’t do that if you’re not at home in your bed. So I could assume you were traveling, and you had to work today. But I didn’t know you had to travel often for work until you just said it.
You felt proud of your deductive reasoning. So now I know that you and your brother have the same job. It’s unlikely you live in Sioux Falls. And you travel often for work.
Dean whistled lowly. Damn, girl. Somehow you’re reminding me of Sam right now…what are you studying again?
You noted a brief tendril of sadness from him, being quickly brushed off. You didn’t dwell on it, but you would make a mental note of it for later, maybe.
History, you replied.
Oh, okay. Gonna be a teacher or something?
I…don’t really know yet. I’ve been scoping out jobs…
You’ve almost got two degrees and you don’t know what you wanna do with ‘em?
All right, that was hitting a nerve.
“You know what? Don’t change the subject!” you said. Realizing you said that out loud, you made sure to think it at him this time.
You don’t live in Sioux Falls right? Or South Dakota even? you added.
Look at you go, little miss detective, he replied. You thought he enjoyed teasing you a bit too much. No, I don’t live here. But a family friend does.
Okay, so that narrowed it down to everything.
You turned the street corner into your neighborhood. The streetlights were sparse here ever since the last snowstorm knocked them out. Your dad had talked about installing ground lights in the front lawn for years, but he’d never gotten around to it. His job was too demanding to take care of much at home, which left you with most of the responsibility. Sometimes you wondered how your mom did it…
Anyway, back to the game.
Plumber, electrician, flight attendant? You guessed. You had a feeling from the way he talked about your schooling that he hadn’t gone to college. You didn’t mind that. If this stupid game was anything to go by, it sounded like he had an interesting way of making a living.
Nope to all three, especially the last one. Ugh.
Goddamn it. Okay, do you own a business?
You could say that. It’s a family business, he said. There was a playful note to this voice, as if he was dancing around the truth.
Dear Lord. All right, a family business…
It was probably something small-scale. A diner? Hardware store?
It’s not a physical store. More like a…a service.
You were getting warmer! With a smile, you made your way down your street and pulled your car into the driveway. Surprise, surprise, your dad wasn’t home yet.
Got it. You nodded. Okay, truck driver. Service engineer, electrician…oh shit, I said that earlier. Hmm…exterminator?
You grabbed your purse and finally got out of your car. You’d made it all the way to your front door when you realized that your soulmate had gone quiet. You sensed he was thinking, contemplating.
You nearly bounced in excitement as you unlocked the door to your house. I’m right, aren’t I? Which one?
After stepping inside and closing the door behind you, you turned on the hallway and living room lights.
The last one, he said at last. You paused in your excitement, your brows furrowed.
Exterminator. Really? That was curious. Who’d ever heard of a traveling exterminator? Like rats and stuff?
And stuff, he said with a chuckle, but somehow you knew it was hollow. You frowned, until you looked into the living room and noticed something weird.
A black duffel bag that didn’t look like your dad’s. You don’t remember it being there this morning either.
Hey, you okay? he asked. You realized that he was probably sensing your confusion. You headed toward the duffel bag.
Yeah, I just got home—
The moment you set down your purse on the coffee table, a hand closed over your mouth and muffled your scream.
AN: Yay, cliffhangers! (I promise they'll meet in the next chapter lol.)
Also, I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you reading, reblogging, commenting, etc. I didn't think this little fic would generate that much interest, but getting your feedback is inspiring me to write more!
Keep reading: Part 5.

Masturbation May - Day 6a: Mutual Masturbation (Solomon)
A/N: Solomon was suggested for day 6 by @graveswrites! I'll be honest, this went... quite a different direction than I'd intended lol, and its much longer than intended as well, but I hope you enjoy. RIP to my upload schedule
Featuring: GN reader || Solomon x reader
Warnings: mutual masturbation, kind of guided masturbation with edging/orgasm denial, slight dom reader and sub Solomon?, Solomon thinks he's hot shit (and severely underestimates you), a little angst???????? with comfort/resolution lol; kind of heavy on reader's perspective but no specific description of reader's anatomy
Word count: 3270
══════════════════
Solomon was getting on your last nerves, and based on the Cheshire cat smile he put on whenever you made eye contact, he was well aware of that fact. It was just little things, but they were petty little things, which only made them worse. He would dodge your kisses, only pecking your cheek instead of your lips. Or he would go off to class without saying "I love you", something that he'd insisted early on in your relationship. And lately, he simply seemed distant in the physical department, not cuddling you or being intimate before bed like he usually was.
You two weren't sex addicts by any means, but one thing you'd learned about Solomon in your relationship was that he could be a proper horndog when he wanted to be. His mischievous hands were always touching you somewhere, poking, teasing, enticing, just working to rile you up until you were just as horny as him. And he ate that up, pouncing on you the very moment you gave the OK. That was why you knew he was up to something, once he stopped being touchy-feely with you and not seeking your attentions as usual.
The final straw came this morning when you’d woken up before your alarm was due to go off, only to find Solomon wrapped around your body, his limbs tangled with yours in his sleep. You were so unprepared for his touch after being denied for so long, your body was quick to heat up in response. Your sleepiness also disappeared in an instant as soon as you felt Solomon’s morning wood pressed against your hip, hot and ready. It was so unfair, finally getting the touch of your lover but it wasn’t even intentional. You just knew that if you woke him now and tried to make a move, he’d deny you once again, playing his damned game of cat and mouse that he was insistent on continuing.
You couldn’t help but fidget, trying to close your eyes and go back to sleep, forget about what was happening and what you could be having if your lover chose to behave for once. But your mind was fully awake now, and against your wishes, your body subconsciously responded. Your thighs squeezed together, seeking some kind of stimulation, and they accidentally squeezed Solomon’s leg that had made its way in between them. You tried to still your body, cursing at how responsive he made you, but your efforts were in vain as Solomon stirred awake, breathing in deep before his eyelids fluttered open.
It took a moment for his brain to boot up and properly register what was going on. But as he took in the scene of your body pressed up against his, and saw the heated look in your eyes as you glanced up at him, he realized what was going on. He chuckled, and it only made the corners of your lips turn downwards, knowing what was coming.
“Well, good morning, my love,” he said, his voice deeper and rougher from sleep. “What have we here?” You hated the way his morning voice made your body tingle.
“What do you mean?” you responded, feigning ignorance of what he was implying.
But Solomon didn’t miss anything, and he certainly didn’t miss how hot you felt next to him or the way your eyes danced around, avoiding his eye contact now. He used one of the arms he had wrapped around you to pull you somehow even closer, and the fingers of his other hand trailed leisurely along your side. You shivered in response, goosebumps immediately following the places his fingers touched, and you delighted in the sensation after days of missing out.
“I mean the way your body is being so responsive right now. And that look in your eyes is pretty good, too.”
The grin on his face was almost evil. His touch was doing wonders to you, your heart pounding in your chest but also throbbing in your core. You weren’t sure what you wanted to do more, if it was smack him away for all the trouble he’d put you through recently, or if you wanted to just pull him down and kiss him already.
“C’mon, you can’t tell me you’re not liking this,” he continued as he noticed your silence, now teasing your hips, fingers dipping back and glancing against your backside here and there. Your hips jerked in response, bumping your groin against his thigh again and sending a zing of pleasure up to your brain. Oh how you just wanted him to squeeze you properly, to actually hold you in his arms. But even more than that, you wanted to grind against his thigh in its opportunistic spot. Solomon looked down, seeing the way your thighs were practically holding onto his own leg. “At least your body is being honest with me.”
You couldn’t even formulate an argument in your defense, so you simply pursed your lips and turned away, doing your best to ignore his goading. But it was getting harder and harder to be good. Finally, just as you thought you’d reached your wit’s end and was ready to beg and plead for some kind of relief, Solomon withdrew his touch, detangling himself from you and sitting up in your bed, stretching leisurely. The loss of his warmth was like a splash of cold water to your system, leaving you feeling suddenly empty.
“Where are you going?” you couldn’t help but ask, hating how needy you sounded.
Something seemed to alight in Solomon’s eyes as he heard your tone, and he glanced back at you before his sight was caught by the alarm clock on the bedside table. You could tell he was going to say something, but seemed to rethink his words before settling on a response.
“We should get up now that we’re awake. We’ll have to leave soon,” he simply said and stood up from the bed, going about his routine to get ready for R.A.D.
You couldn’t believe his audacity to work you up like that and then leave. But it was exactly in line with the way he’d been acting the past several days, always doing things to work you up before abruptly leaving, or just withholding contact completely. A knot formed in your chest and a sour taste sat in your mouth, but you pushed your feelings deep down and got up as well, trying to just focus on the day ahead.
Solomon always seemed to push your buttons just right, and usually he was good about making it up to you relatively quickly. But this time, your patience had run out as you waited for him to come to his senses. Unbeknownst to your lover, you were already planning your revenge on him, ensuring that he would understand just how badly he’d fucked up.
══════════════════
Similarly, you were unaware of just how badly Solomon was doing. Despite his confident appearance, his will was almost shattered when he’d awoken to find himself tangled with you. His morning wood was partly a product of a delicious dream he’d been having, where he'd been making you cum as many times as you could handle in all the ways he loved. His soul ached to touch you, to kiss you and fill your entire being with himself.
The whole thing started out as an innocent game, just wanting to play with you a little and get you to admit how much you wanted him. Although you’d argue otherwise, he was wrapped around your finger, and he was completely at your mercy at any given time, including in the bedroom. Thus, he had wanted to tease and deny you, build up your desire for him until you’d give in first, show him that you could get just as desperate for him as he was for you. But his game was starting to backfire on him, just making him even more desperate for you while you only seemed to be getting angry.
He, too, began to make a plan to make amends. Of course, his pride prevented him from simply coming clean and apologizing, something he’d come to regret. But he decided on the next best thing, intending to finally relieve this tension in one big, hot bang once classes were finished.
At the end of the school day, you were the first to return to Purgatory Hall. Solomon had texted you to tell you he would be late due to a meeting and not to wait for him. That worked just fine for you, it gave you time to relax for a moment and prepare for what would come later. You were going to make sure Solomon would learn his lesson about playing games with you; he wouldn't know what hit him. He wanted to withhold his touch and make you beg? Two could play at that game.
You started your plan of revenge with changing out of your R.A.D. uniform and your underwear, putting on one of Solomon's shirts with nothing underneath. He always loved when you wore his stuff, feeding a little possessive streak he had. Just looking at Solomon's bed was enough to bring back the memories of this morning, his lean body curled around you as his hot cock was pressing insistently against your hip.
You got into the bed, resting against the headboard, and splayed out your legs. Without any underwear, it felt scandalous and exposing, and a little cold as the air hit your nether region. Looking at your phone, Solomon had sent you an update, saying he was wrapping up his meeting soon. You immediately got to work with your limited time, slinking a hand down to your inner thigh and rubbing softly, trying to arouse yourself. You did your best to conjure up memories of being intimate with Solomon, the way he went down on you here in this bed or implement a magic item to spice things up, anything to get the mood going.
Your ministrations and memory worked, as you felt your body start to warm up and you could feel your heartbeat in your core. You finally traced a finger along your arousal, then two, hips twitching in response, before pressing harder and stroking more. The sensation was heavensent, your body so sensitive to the touch after being denied for so long. While Solomon had been playing this little game with you, you'd also unintentionally avoided touching yourself, hoping that he'd change his mind or give up eventually. After all, your touch was nothing compared to his, his long fingers always reached just the right places. He could play you like an instrument, and it was addicting.
But this would do for now. You stopped a moment to grab some lube, then continued your work as your now slippery fingers slid along your skin, dipping down around your hole and going back up to circle your most sensitive spot, making your arousal start to drip. Finally, you gently eased in a couple fingers, thrusting slowly at first before upping the pace, wiggling your hips to get different angles and sensations. It wouldn't be nearly enough to get you to cum, but the pleasure was enjoyable for now, and you started to lose yourself in your enjoyment, paying no attention to the time.
This was how Solomon found you when he arrived at the dorm, going to his room when he couldn't find you anywhere else. After stepping through the doorway, he had to double take before completely stopping in his tracks, his cheeks turning a bright red as he fully absorbed your image and what was going on. He was quick to shut his door and lock it before turning back to you, clearly flustered by your actions.
You grinned at him, briefly making eye contact before his gaze fell to your core, where your fingers were still pumping and curling inside.
"Welcome home," you said, breaking the silence, or rather the wet sounds of your fingers.
"Yes..." Solomon only replied. His eyes were still glued on your busy fingers, and you could see the effect you were having on him as a noticeable bulge formed in his pants.
"See something you like?"
It took a moment, but your lover's eyes finally lifted to look back at you, filled with heat. "Oh yes, I do." His voice was husky, strained, as he fought the urge to just jump you. You hummed thoughtfully, he was playing right into your hand, his childish game long forgotten about on his end.
"Well, you're welcome to join me," you started. Solomon didn't even hesitate, immediately working on removing his R.A.D. uniform until he was just in his boxer briefs. He climbed onto the bed with you and you withdrew your fingers from your core, watching him in his eagerness. He leaned towards you, obviously planning to kiss you and take over things. But you put a foot up against his chest, stopping him short. He looked at you, confused, his innocent look almost making you laugh.
You shook your head at him, pushing him further away with your foot, and he slowly backed down. "Ah-ah-ah, you don't get to touch me, though. You haven't earned that yet."
You could see Solomon swallow, the guilt in his eyes showing he knew exactly what you were referring to.
"Okay. Then how do I earn it?" he asked.
He was the very image of obedience, and you were eating it up. "You're gonna touch yourself for me."
It was almost comical, the way his eyebrows shot up his forehead and his eyes widened. He opened his mouth, but seemed to think better of it, swallowing down his words in favor of nodding and sitting back.
You could see his eyes flicker back and forth between various points on your body as he palmed himself over his underwear. He couldn't seem to settle between your eyes, your still-exposed core, or your general image wearing his clothes. After a moment, he realized you were simply watching him, not moving, and he smirked at you, sparking your irritation.
"What about you?" Solomon asked. "Won't you continue? It looks like you need some help."
He had a point, watching him work for his pleasure was definitely arousing, and your body ached for stimulation again. But his words just served to make you spiteful. "Don't worry, I'm just enjoying the view," you said, enjoying his bashful look in response. "Take it out."
"You're being bossy tonight," he said, trying to joke, but obeyed anyway. He tugged down the waistband and freed his cock, shoving the underwear down his thighs a little but keeping it on. Only once he started stroking himself without the cloth barrier, did you continue your own movements.
Much like Solomon, you couldn't help your gaze as it fell to his crotch, watching the way his nimble fingers wrapped around his shaft, the way he swiped a finger over the head of his cock and could see the shine of his precum as it leaked from the slit. His dick was unfairly pretty, long and pink at the end, curved just the right way to reach all your best spots. You stroked yourself in tandem with Solomon, wishing it was him touching you instead. But he did this to himself, playing a dumb game and testing your patience.
It took a few minutes, but you could see Solomon really getting into it now, his pace increasing as he started focusing on the head of his cock and particularly the sensitive spot right beneath it. You wondered if maybe he hadn't touched himself all during his game, he seemed just as pent up as you. And your guess seemed to be correct, as eventually his telltale warning signs of climax started to pop up. His hand was moving faster, his eyes closing and his hips moving on their own as he fucked his fist. Now was the next step of your plan.
"Stop touching yourself."
Solomon's hand stuttered and his eyes opened to look at you in disbelief. He once again obeyed right away, something you filed away in your mind for later, but you could see the frustration on his face.
"W... why are you stopping me?" he said, a little out of breath as his heart was beating fast from the lingering pleasure.
"Because you haven't earned the right to cum just yet," you replied. "I don't appreciate the game you've been playing with me lately. I think you can work a little harder before you've earned it."
He visibly swallowed, his face falling a little. And if you'd been in your right, non-horny mind, you would have taken pity and talked it out with him. But you were on a roll now.
"Start stroking yourself again, slowly. Make sure you look at me."
He didn't protest, doing as you asked. You once again used your fingers on yourself, matching pace with him as he made slow, torturous movements, glad he was finally behaving. His eyes never left your core.
"Good, now you can move a little faster. And remember, don't close your eyes."
This continued on, directing him on slowly increasing his pace, enjoying the sexual frustration on his face, until he was back to pumping his cock like before. You were sure his orgasm was making its way back quickly, after you'd cut it off earlier. Your body was crying for release as well, eager to end this already. You watched Solomon's balls tighten up, clearly already at that precipice, but he knew better than to cum without permission after all of that.
As you predicted, he looked up at your face, pupils blown wide and cheeks a deep pink as he fought his orgasm.
"You look like you want something."
"Can I cum? Please?"
"I don't know, can you?" you asked, trying to stay on task. But it was hard, fighting your own orgasm as well.
"Please, I'm sorry for playing games. I shouldn't have done that. Please let me cum, I'll make it up to you."
You pretended to give it a moment of thought, still fucking yourself with your fingers as he struggled to keep going, but really, you were already past the point of caring anymore. As far as you cared, you both just needed to climax already, and then go from there.
"Fine, you can cum, then. Cum for me."
Even as you said the last words, his breath came out in a short gasp and his abdomen flexed before he shot out the first ropes of cum, instantly covering the sheets. The sight was so hot, you couldn't help but follow closely afterwards, releasing a low moan that Solomon joined.
You lay back against the pillow, catching your breath, and you felt the bed shift as Solomon moved up to join you. His arms slid around your waist and he buried his face in your neck, kissing it softly.
"I really am sorry."
"I know."
"It just amazes me how you have me wrapped around your finger, how much I want you. I guess I just wanted to make you want me that badly, too."
You couldn't help but hug him back, sighing. "Of course I want you. You don't need to do things like this to make me want you, I already love you and want you too. I forgive you, just don't do it again."
"Yeah, I learned my lesson."
You shared a kiss and settled, finally at peace with your dork of a lover.

PROMPT 14!!! (“You heard me take it off”) WITH HANGE/HISTORIA/ANNIE/YMIR!!!
(I’m so Downbad for them😭)
😩😩😩
Prompt 14 - “You heard me. take. it. off.”
Ft. Hange Zoe, Historia Reiss, Annie Leonhart, & Ymir
Warnings: Strip poker in Hange’s, zest all the way around tbh, Annie and Ymir being mean (who’s surprised tho), not full smut (sorry everyone LOL-), Historia being cunning (mentions of cheating in hers), dubcon. Not proofread lmaooo-
HANGE ZOE
“You want to play what?” Levi scoffed, looking at Hange with a disgusted expression. He was leaning against the doorway of Erwin’s office, having recently returned from an expedition with his crew. He was going to report to Erwin and leave, but now Hange has his attention.
“Strip poker.” Erwin chuckled, and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes at the idea.
“Hange how exactly did you come up with this?” You tilted your head and crossed your arms, giving them a slightly judgmental look, only to follow it up with a giggle. You couldn’t keep up the act, so you just gave in and looked over at Levi.
“Well- it came to me in a dream! Whoever loses has to take an article of clothing off and so on and so forth.” They grinned and placed their hands on their hips, wriggling their eyebrows at Levi. “What? Are you scared?” They teased and Erwin snickered softly.
“The hell I am. I’m great a poker.” He grumbled and sat down at the table near Erwin’s desk, waiting for the rest of you three to join him.
A couple rounds in, and you were losing bad. You had already taken off your corps jacket and your thigh high boots. If you lost one more game then you’d be taking off your shirt, and while it did sound like a good time, you had some rather nasty scars on your torso- and you weren’t about to sit down and explain it.
“Ahaha!” Hange laughed, smiling as you lost the game once again. Erwin gave you a reassuring smile and Levi simply scoffed.
It was always those three getting you into trouble.
“You know what that means Y/n. Take off your button up.” Levi pointed and Hange hushed him, looking at you expectantly.
Nervously, you took a swig of the whiskey before you before slowly unbuttoning your shirt. You stopped and looked at Erwin, who would hopefully be your saving grace here.
“W-Well I’m feeling sort of tired, you know?” You faked a yawn, letting out a surprised gasp as Hange leaned in and glared at you through their glasses.
“You heard Levi, darling.” They whispered lowly, a dark smirk forming on their lips. You swallowed thickly, Hange’s hands coming up and resting on top of yours. “Take. It. Off.”
HISTORIA REISS
You had been drinking with the rest of the troops, but snuck away to hang out with Historia. The blonde had you behind the barracks, kissing you silly, which was terrifying for you since you knew Ymir had a thing for her.
She was taking control of the whole situation, which was definitely unexpected compared to her whole personality. She was just an easygoing girl with strong morals, and a damn good set of lips.
It was like she had done this before, with how her hands just slid up your sides effortlessly, making you breathless as her lips continued to move against yours.
You were unable to say anything when she pulled away, stunned into silence by the mischievous look in her eyes.
“Ymir would love you.” She whispered, her fingers quickly unbuttoning her shirt. And while she was fast, she was still a tease. Once she had unbuttoned hers, her hands went to yours, but you stopped her.
“H-Historia I don’t know if this is the best thing to do. I mean just look at where we are.” You tried to explain to her that the chances of you getting caught were high, and you didn’t want to risk it.
But she didn’t care.
Of course.
Blondes and their needless determination.
“Come on Y/n. Just take it off. I promise we won’t get caught.” She smiled, and you felt your heart skip a beat. She was so sweet, but you knew what she was doing.
“B-But-“
She cut you off, placing a finger against your lips as her seemingly innocent smile grew. “Didn’t you hear me?” She giggled. “Take it off.” Her eyes shined beautifully underneath the moonlight, and you couldn’t turn her down with how damned sweet her tone was.
She was addictive, and if she wasn’t with Ymir, you’d put the prettiest rock on her finger.
ANNIE LEONHART
Finally.
After months of training and preparation, you had her right where you wanted her.
Or so you thought.
“What the hell are you doing?” She asked, kicking you to the ground with ease. You hated how she was your sparring partner, but you had no other options, so you were stuck with her.
With a groan, you got back to your feet and dusted yourself off. The crowd around you watched in surprise, silently rooting for you.
“Doesn’t matter what I’m doing now. What matters is what I’m going to do.” You smirked, squaring up and taking the defensive side as Annie reared up for another kick.
“Oh yeah?“ She scoffed and brought her leg up and hit your arm harshly, but you countered it by grabbing her leg with your left hand and pulling her to the ground. She hit the ground and the crowd around you cheered, clapping at your victory.
As they cleared out, you bent down and helped Annie up, only to be pinned to the ground by her.
Great. She was pissed.
“What the fuck was that?!?” She whisper shouted, her fists clenching your shirt as she straddled your chest.
If your life weren’t on the line right now, you would’ve found this all very attractive.
“Payback.” You huffed, moving to shove her off but failing. “I’m tired of your ass pushing me around all the time. I don’t care if you’re my sparring partner or not, it’s annoying.” You rolled your eyes and rolled over, pinning her underneath you now, your hand resting lightly on her throat.
“You’re an easy target.” She sighed and loosened her grip on your shirt. Her arms fell down to her sides and you took this as your moment.
“And you’re hot.” You smirked and removed your hand from her throat, sitting back some so she could prop herself up on her elbows. She didn’t seem phased in the slightest, but her eyes betrayed her curiosity.
You lazily stood up and pulled her off the ground, dragging her behind the storage shed and pinning her up against the wooden wall. You put your knee between her legs and applied pressure, your lustful hatred for your rival growing.
“Take off your pants. Let’s get this over with.” You watched her expression change to a challenging one, her eyes shining defiantly.
“Do it yourself.”
Ugh. Blondes and their needless determination.
“You heard me.” You leaned forward and smirked. “Take. Them. Off.”
YMIR
She was oddly illusive, and you couldn’t help but be drawn in by her false sense of confidence. She acted like she was a god, like she was better than the rest of you.
And you hated it.
It was her, Annie, and Mikasa that put themselves up on these high pedestals that they used to look down on everyone.
They all looked out for themselves.
No one else.
Which- in a way - wasn’t that bad. Cause why get attached if you’re just going to die anyways?
Sasha waved her hand in front of your face, pulling you back to reality. She grinned and called you out on your ‘broodiness’, which only annoyed you further.
Jean and Connie dragged Sasha along and left you to deal with Ymir, who had made eye contact with you and was now walking over to where you stood.
“Like what you see?” She smirked and leaned against the table before you.
Wow the sun had really brought out her freckles…
“I don’t typically fall for women with god complexes.” You shrugged it off and raised an eyebrow, staring into her eyes.
“I wouldn’t be too sure of that.” Ymir winked and took a seat at the table, waving you over with a singular finger.
“Oh really? So you know my type better than I do? Is that what you’re saying?” You smirked and sat down across from her, your eyes shining.
You couldn’t lie. You were invested.
But she was still a bitch.
“Of course.” She chuckled and leaned forward, her voice lowering. You felt your breath hitch and your heart rate quicken. “Just look at you, Y/n. You’re a mess and I haven’t even gotten to touch you yet.” You felt your face flush harshly, your tough act breaking.
“Shut up. You don’t know jack shit about me.” You argued, shooting a glare as you attempted to cover up your embarrassment.
“It’s embarrassing to watch you lie like this. But I won’t stop you.” She winked and stood up, walking over to you and grabbing your wrist, dragging you behind her as she walked.
“What the hell are you planning?” You spat, pulling your wrist from her grasp. With a huff, you followed her off the base and into the forest some, coming to a clearing and stopping behind her.
“Well. I figured that since you want me so bad, that you’d be able to give me a test drive.” She smirked and placed a hand on her hip, looking over her shoulder at you. “Now go ahead and get undressed for me. And behave yourself.” She teased, running a hand through her hair. “You’re all bark and no bite, but I’m both. So watch it.”
You froze and looked down at your clothes, swallowing thickly.
Damn you hadn’t expected it to be this easy.
“Can’t you help me?” You raised an eyebrow, your tone wavering slightly.
“I know damn well you heard me the first time.” You could feel her ego grow, and you blushed profusely. “Take. off. your. clothes.”

The Sweet Hereafter | Peter Quill
SUMMARY: He cursed at himself for succumbing to you again. That was just the lure you had. Miles away—galaxies even—you always found a way to lead Peter to you. It may have been subconscious, but despite the fact that you bickered, the pair of you belonged together.
PAIRING: Peter Quill x f!reader
WORD COUNT: 1.1K
WARNINGS: canon typical things, descriptions of injuries, cursing, general angst, semi enemies to lovers, etc.
A/N: I had to dust off cobwebs for this one. I forget how much nonsense I write and don’t post, this being one of them...gotg v.3 got me in my feels so I’m posting this. It’s a little plotless and full of plot holes....so enjoy lol.
“No.”
“Please.” Kraglin’s desperation was obvious, and had been for months. Yet, through every modulated call, he was met with disappointment. “She has no interest in staying with us, tried to get her to go—
“All she does is run off–” Peter countered just to bite his tongue. But characteristically it didn’t last, “–then I’m the one sent to drag her back.” He scratched at his growing facial hair, growing increasingly frustrated. “I’m tired of this.”
"And you think I'm not?" Kraglin snapped. Peter could see, even through the hologram before him, that Kraglin was being pulled thin.
As a new Ravager leader, Kraglin had growing pains with the position, but nonetheless carried himself well. He could handle the banter as it was a part of the life, even the new settlement of Knowhere. Yet, he could never understand how to handle you.
"We don't have space for her." Peter feigned passivity, but his voice wavering exposed his facade.
"Peter–
"I can try and put in a word to the Nova Corp, see if they can—
"We can’t just pass her off to the next, she's Yondu’s daughter—
Peter cut the connection before Kraglin had a chance to finish. It was a trap. It had always been a trap. But Peter fell for it all the same. Like him, you found yourself surrounded by scoundrels that’s hearts softened every time you called for help. Over the years, though, your calls became more deliberate; less for aid but more to stretch your sticky fingers.
There was something deep in Peter’s chest that made him queasy. As time went on he found it harder to say no, even if his body screamed at him. The ship was quiet, only carrying the sound of his dragging boots. Each step to the atrium of the ship, Peter struggled to quell his thoughts.
He cursed at himself for succumbing to you again. That was just the lure you had. Miles away—galaxies even—you always found a way to lead Peter to you. It may have been subconscious, but despite the fact that you bickered, the pair of you belonged together.
"Fuck." Peter cursed again, leading the unknowing crew to the last coordinates that Kraglin had sent to him.
—
Oddly enough, the cold floor felt relieving against your back. Pulling your arms above your head, the horizontal position elicited deep pops from your vertebrae. You were sore, your body enduring too much too soon, but in a way felt good. It meant you were still alive and breathing, more importantly, it meant that you got your way.
You perked up at the footsteps approaching you. You knew who it was, but you’d never admit the relief you felt hearing Peter’s voice echo through the dingy ship.
“And you’re tellin’ me she only now decided to tell us?”
“…You know how she doesn’t share anythin’...” Kraglin answered honestly, but it did nothing to comfort Peter. “...Well, ya know, expect that she’s Yondu’s kid.”
"She's lying."
You had a knack for twisting the truth. Lying was just a game to you, a game you were good at. It was what got you in your current holding cell. You posed as a threat even behind bars, but it was only due to the tales spun about you.
Peter knew you well. That you stumbled upon Youndu and his crew only to rob him blind with innocent charm. It could make sense that you were his daughter, but even you didn’t want to believe it. You hadn’t until the letter found you. The chicken scratch was barely legible, but it detailed your unorthodox relation.
"She's not."
"How do you know?" Peter resisted. The man they spoke of was gone, but Peter doubted his legacy fell on your shoulders. "He didn't have any kids."
"Then what were you to him?" You didn’t need to be loud to be heard. The silence carried your suggestion. “Always good to see you, Star-Lord.”
Peter saw now how the bruise on your chin carried up onto your bottom lip. To match, just below your eye, a bruise started to form. He watched you move languidly to stand, he could see how much you hurt.
Pinching his brows together, he asked a rhetorical question. "Your boyfriend do that to you?"
"Something like that," You smirked slightly.
Quill sighed deeply, regretting the interaction. If you looked like this, Peter knew your ‘boyfriend’ was close to dead. You were the definition of reckless and something he wasn’t convinced he needed to take on. Yet, everyone in the room knew that by standing in front of you, his fate was set.
“Go on, Kraglin, show him,” You motioned your head with your words. Although you were considered one of them, they welcome you aboard with pointed blasters. In doing so, your belongings became theirs, even the tattered letter.
Peter didn’t want to read it as Kraglin unfolded it for him. He skimmed it, not bothering to look for the interesting details. Years ago, Peter would have questioned the astronomical coincidence that you had any blood relation to the man who raised him, but coincidences and beings with gauntlets scared it out of him. However, the last line resonated. Don’t tell Peter.
A bitter laugh escaped Peter’s lips. It was always like Yondu, even in death, to get the last gag. The story went as follows; you weren’t taken and forced into the life of a ravager. You were left in the safety of a Xandarian orphanage only to weasel your way out and join the life your father intended to keep you away from. You would have been better off stranded on an abandoned planet.
You got good at what you did, too good. You made a name for yourself that instilled fear in some and in others an open invitation to challenge. Challenges you never shied away from which only meant you begged for danger to follow.
Peter tossed the letter to the side, letting whatever leaking pipe soak its material. The letter’s significance didn’t matter, years had come and gone washing away any anticipated emotion, but the only thing that held Peter’s attention was why you waited so long to reach out to him.
“Why now?”
“Had to get your attention somehow.” You frowned. He avoided you, but you waited for the perfect moment to gain his attention. “That boyfriend of mine is coming for you.”

I am unreasonably excited for this stardew fic im hearing about 👀 (also seb, my love- i always end up romancing him)
Thank you! In all my playthroughs (maybe five before this one, lol) I've never romanced anyone. This one (which inspired this story) I decided to romance and marry Seb :).
The story is gonna feature a lot of the game and setting as inspiration, but I'm going to edit the mechanics a bit so it's less contrived, and there are gonna be more supernatural elements and folks at play... :). And an affectionate, fwb situation with Elliott before the end-game Sebastian romance, just a heads up.
Since you were kind enough to reach out about it, here's a 1400 word WIP sneak peek of Rowan, my gruff, buff werewoof farmer:
(CW: standoffish, loner character with scars on his neck from a werewolf bite, passing mention of a werewolf attack at night that nearly killed him)
This run-down, wild farm, with its endless tangle of fairytale brambles arcing around the roots of maple and oak trees, and its overgrown ponds full of frogs and flowering water weeds, was beyond perfect.
Of course, Rowan knew next to nothing about organic vegetable farming, but that was a problem for another day.
Mayor Lewis dithered on the top step a moment longer before taking his leave with Robin and heading back up the rutted path towards the town. Apparently Rowan had been taciturn enough to drive the chatty old man away, and something about him had evidently unnerved Robin a little. Maybe it was the mess of scars on his throat. He didn’t much care. If it meant they left him alone, so much the better. He wasn’t sure that anyone but Robin in her off-road pickup could make it comfortably along the winding drive to the farm anyway, and it was a miracle that the old man hadn’t toppled into a pothole or a ditch on his way over.
Rowan watched them leave together, deliberately ignoring their nattering gossip about him, which carried easily enough on the spring air to his sharp ears, and he felt something new prickle down his spine. It wasn’t even close to the full moon — he’d made damned sure of that before booking his one-way ticket to the sleepy little valley — but something about this place set the wolf in him prowling. He realised with a jolt that his wolf liked this new territory, with its fresh air and cacophonous birdsong. Where he’d been fractious and aggressive in the city, prone to lashing out when he felt the least bit cornered or trapped, now his wolf was practically bounding on the spot to explore his new territory and claim it as his own, and Rowan recoiled from the idea.
“I am not an animal,” he snarled at himself.
He thought that after bearing the curse for a year, he should have been far more accustomed to the feeling of there being a whole new part of himself inside his own head, or in his heart. And yet, noticing that the way he was feeling was largely because of the wolf, and not his human side, still freaked him the fuck out.
He turned back to the front door of the tumbledown cabin where his grandfather had lived until he’d had to go into care five years earlier, and immediately put his boot through the rotten boards of the veranda with a curse and another snarl. A small family of mice skittered away beneath the house, their pungent smell rising through the new hole to his sensitive nose, and he sighed. “Still not alone, even out here.”
Although the moon was only halfway to full, and against his better judgement, Rowan did let the shift sweep over him a few nights later, and as he sloughed off the complex trappings of his human life and sank his claws delightfully into the velvet-soft dirt, he patrolled the perimeter of the farm where his human self had spent his first week in Stardew Valley clearing weeds and setting up his first organic vegetable beds.
His wolf didn’t think about the uppity shopkeeper in the general store or the awkward blacksmith who’d smelled of a nauseous cocktail of discomfort, anxiety and axle grease, or the harried-looking man in a tweed jacket who’d smelled of coffee and antiseptic. His wolf lowered its head to the ground and inhaled the scents of rabbit and squirrel. It couldn’t decide if it was relieved or saddened to find no trace of wolves — shifter or otherwise — in the area, but seemed to settle for relieved as he slunk like a deeper shred of shadow from the porch of the farmhouse and bounded off into the dark to explore the place with the new, golden eyes of a wolf in place of the slightly blurry, hazel eyes of a human.
A rockfall in the cliffs behind the wreckage of the greenhouse had exposed a damp cave some years ago, though it smelled of bat guano and little else to interest a wolf. He let it be. Trotting eagerly on, the wolf relished the decadent flex and stretch of its powerful muscles, and the bliss of being able to shift whenever the fancy took him was enough to make him tilt his head to the sky and howl his ecstasy at the silent stars.
Rowan knew that being bitten and turned, and dumped unknowingly into the secret world of the supernatural, had taken its toll on him.
His sanity had been right on the ragged edge when he’d come across that forgotten letter from his grandfather in a desk drawer. After a year of trying to hold the remnants of his miserable life in the city together, of slinking down into an old storm drain on the edge of an abandoned industrial estate every full moon, to cage and contain his frustrated, furious wolf, Rowan had known he had to get out of the city. Permanently. It was messing with his wolf and he was losing more of his awareness to it with each passing full moon. He’d also started zoning out at his desk at work and coming-to with claws out and the wolf prowling right beneath his yellow-eyed facade of calm, even halfway through the cycle. The constant clacking of keyboards, the shrill, metallic ringing of office telephones, and the stink of leftover lunches from the cubicle next door to his was going to make him snap. Violently.
Part problem and part gift, his wolf existed purely in the ‘now’. There was no painful past; no human lying abandoned and bleeding and irrevocably changed on the rain-soaked tarmac of a grotty bus station; no human who’d drifted out of touch with his one surviving family member; no bills overdue and no landlord to keep happy. There was only the scent of moss and emerging spring grass and last year’s fallen pine cones, and the echo of a fox’s passing trail across the land which was now his territory.
Rowan’s wolf followed its nose down to the lower pond and lapped luxuriantly at the rich, cool water. His ears drew back and another thrill of delight ran down the length of his body as the sweet, wholesome taste of the water exploded across his tongue; he could detect none of the pollution and chemicals of the city water, just fresh spring that bubbled up from the depths of the earth, carrying with it the minerals and magic of the place.
Yes, this place had magic in abundance.
His grandfather had married a witch, so magic had been in Rowan’s blood already before he’d been mutilated by a lone werewolf at three in the morning in a filthy, city bus station. Perhaps that had been why a bite that messy had taken when it would have killed most people. He prayed he never met his monstrous sire, because he knew he’d rip his fucking head off for ruining his life and turning him into a slathering, near-mindless monster once a month. It was probably only by sheer, dumb luck that he hadn’t been killed by hunters, or killed someone himself by accident, and it had only been by the grace and patience of a blue-haired witch named Mercury that he’d even known what was happening to him in the first place. He shuddered to think where he’d have been without her.
A figure moved in the darkness at the edge of the trees on the southern-most reaches of his property and his lips drew back into a snarl.
“Easy, Rowan,” came a resonant, bass voice, and he froze, tilting his head, ears pricked. He recognised that voice, but couldn’t place it. For answer, he just growled a warning. “Easy,” came the voice a second time. “Rowan MacTavish, I am not here to hurt you. It is I, Rasmodius.”
At the sound of his full name on the still night air, Rowan’s whole body shivered, but the wolf let go of his mind a little. Thought came to him just a little easier. Rasmodius. That was the name of the wizard in the tower. Rowan blinked his golden eyes and sat back on his haunches.
“May I approach?”
He whined and ended the sound in a soft sneeze. Close enough to a petulant ‘fine’, he supposed.

Paper Pusher with CAPTAIN JOHN PRICE
♱ Warnings: absolutely none, just some fluff lol, I guess my manic writing is a warning itself Idk
♱ A/n: please enjoy my own personal brain rot, I wrote this at 2 almost 3am and HAVE NOT EDITED IT but I wanted to post it so bad 🥰 I’m not saying it’s good but it’s indulgent 🫶
♱ WC: 1.8k
⌐╦̵̵̿ᡁ᠊╾━ ♡ ⌐╦̵̵̿ᡁ᠊╾━
Paper work was easy, honestly, you preferred it over all the other things you had to do to get to this position. Sure, the boot camps were fun and were great for making friends in later stages. At the end of the day, you weren’t made for the field work and could barely cover your own ass, let alone any of your teammates. It was quick and easy to find a position on task 141 to help oversee and complete any paperwork for the team. This included many things, from researching for future missions and people, keeping up with any new possible sources or tips while the team was away, asking for permissions of sorts from higher ups, completing summaries for each soldier after missions etc etc. You had a lot to do, but like you said, it was all easy and totally worth it.
“Our little paper pusher, how are you doing hm? Miss us while we were away?” The sound of Soap's voice breached the silence in the office, before steps flooded the room. Soon, you had a group of men huddled around your desk, all looking down at you expectantly. You only looked up and smiled, before looking back to the computer to finish your last sentence of an email, before turning back to them.
“Definitely didn’t miss you that much. I like working in silence, thank you.”
“Sure little bird, that's why we could see you looking at us while landing from your window.” Ghost spoke slyly, and glimpsed in his eyes, telling you that he knew something you didn’t.
“Oh alright, you got me. I was waiting to see if there was still a chance you guys would crash before landing.” You quipped, stood up, and stepped over to the printer, where you picked up several forms and turned back around to face them.
“You know the drill boys, fill ‘em out and get them back to me, here in this office, by midnight.” Groans filled the room, but nonetheless, they each took their stacks of paperwork and even grabbed some pens from the cup sitting on your desk. They filed one by one, closing the door again on their way out. When they were gone, you turned and walked into your storage room connecting to your office, and began rifling for an agreement form you had hidden away somewhere. The original was with Price, but since he wasn’t with the guys when they gamed in, you figured he was busy and didn't want to bother him when you could likely find the paper yourself - well, at least after you got some of these boxes out of the way.
You started from the top, wanting to take things easy, and reduce the chances of any of the boxes toppling on top of you. You searched alphabetically, following first, middle and last words you could have used to code the document or even any acronyms, but still had to find it. After fifteen minutes, you were about ready to five up, but that's when you saw it, balancing on a wobbly shelf with 3 around it blocking it in. In all honesty, it was a wonder you had even seen it, but now that you know where it is, the determination from earlier flooded your system and you began planning your accent.
The footstool was too short, but it was thick enough to hold one of the strong containers, filled with books, and from there you could step on that to reach the boxes. The first box came down easily, a loud smack sounding throughout the room as you threw it down to the floor as gently as possible from your elevation. The second one was a little harder, having to push on to the tops of your feet a bit more, your heel ever so slightly coming off the box underneath you. You felt a slight wobble from the shelf, which in turn made you wobble, but after a quick second you were sturdy again. The second smack was a little less loud, landing on top of the other box a bit more softly from the shorter distance.
When you reach the third box, you step to the tip of your toes, the step stool wobbling under your uneven weight as you balance on top of it, but also balancing against the shelf that keeps threatening to tip back against your weight, pushing the box further from the tips of your fingers. You failed your hands to catch the edges of it, pushing it towards yourself, but the movement made minimal progress. You stepped on one foot, slowly going back to what you were doing, concentrating so hard you didn’t hear your office door open and shut again.
“Need some help with that?” The voice startled you, ripping in half the concentration and balance you tried so hard to maintain in two. It was like dominoes, the shelf pushing back against your surprised weight and falling against the wall at an awkward angle. Unable to control your momentum, you fell forward with it - the tips of your feet pushing the box under you off the stool quickly. Just as you realized you were indeed falling, two arms wrapped around your waist from underneath you. As your brain caught up with the situation, your hands gripping on the shelf so tight from the fear of upcoming pain, however there was none. The strong arms wrapped around your waist and butt to stop you from falling much further, literally holding you up. Finally, the head of someone just underneath your chin staring up at you bewildered, but as he recognized you were okay, you recognized who HE was.
“P-Price?” Your whole body felt warm, looking down at him shocked. He too mirrored your expression, but it soon turned into a cheeky smile and mischievous glint in his eye.
“Just fallin’ all over me now, are you, L/n?” You turned your head away in embarrassment, to which he chuckled before he moved. He set your feet on top of the step stool again, this time with no shifty box of books on top. When you were stable enough, you stood on the stool yourself, already missing the warm arms around you. But when you unlatched yourself from the shelf, you balanced yourself on his shoulders, liking the feeling of the taunt muscles underneath.
“Are you okay?” He asked, looking at you for any injury to which there was none, fortunately because of his quick savior. You felt like you could breathe again, stepping back on the stool and looking at him in all his returning from mission glory.
“Yes, thank you so much, Price.” You felt your sweat cool from the anxious event, stepping down from step still and standing on solid ground again.
“What were you looking for anyway? Want me to grab it?” He offered, turning to look at the shelf to where you were picking through, seeing the final box, and grabbed the stool for himself. Before you knew it, he was handing you the box to look through, and thankfully you found exactly what you needed. He followed you out of the side room, setting the box on your desk, and you turned off the light and shut the door, almost hesitating to turn back around to the man whose whole presence filled your office.
“You should be more careful, or ask for help next time. We can’t have our little paper pusher out on the comp now.” You snorted, turning to face him with a smile, he always had something to say. You walked over your desk, setting down to sit and riffle through the stacks of forms for the next three or so hours.
“You’d only miss me because you’d have three times as much work to do if it weren’t for me, Captain, don’t kid yourself.” He laughed, heading even tilting back a little. You loved to make him laugh, it was one of your favorite things to do, because if you could make him laugh, you got a heart with that wonderfully velvety voice that almost sang to you.
“You only half right, I’ll give you that.” He settled down in the chair in front of me, laying back like he planned to stay longer. He took his hat off, scratching his head, before placing it back on top in its place.
“Oh? What’s this other half hm? Let me guess, my winning personality?” That sarcasm was basically dripping, but he wasn’t phased, smiling at you before saying,
“If it were up to me, I’d say you were a mind reader, Y/n.” You rolled your eyes, a smile tugging at your lips as you tried to get some work done, but you could not keep your eyes off the man in front of you. He looked tired, but he was happy and tired. The mission had been a success, with zero casualties, and benefited greatly from it, with new assets and even some information worth zeroing in on. Something you would no doubt have to fit in your schedule somehow, but nonetheless it was better than the alternative.
“Don’t you want to go get washed up? Go relax with a cigar or something?” You asked after a half-hour of debriefing and catching up. He had taken off his hat completely, hair messy and flat. His eyes were barely staying open as it is, but he kept chatting, offering to help with anything and everything, not wanting to stay a minute longer as he had asked you earlier when you had come in. When you told him 5am, he almost couldn't believe it, as your job started at 8am, but apparently you wanted a head start on the day. In truth, you couldn’t sleep that night, you could never sleep well enough on the night that they were supposed to come back, almost expecting something wrong to happen, and never being able to see them again, never being able to see Price again.
“I’m relaxing here.” He spoke so plainly. Like he hadn’t been up for the last 64 hours. John Price needed rest.
“I thought you would say that, that’s why I sent Ghost a little email.” As if right on que, Ghost knocked on and opened the door. Walking in and up the Captain.
“Heard yer botherin’ the nice lady.” He joked, nudging John's shoulder while looking back at me shocked.
“You're kicking me out? After I saved you?” You stood and rounded the desk, coming to rest on it in front of him.
“You need to rest John, as much as you want to keep working, you can’t. So get some rest and see me in the morning to talk about your summary papers for this mission.” John groaned as he stood, but shot you a smile before following Ghost out. Truthfully, John didn’t need Ghost to leave, he would have left if you asked the right way.
But you knew deep down you wouldn’t have asked him to leave.

"You...only you..."
It was very funny. When you made the reservation, they said that there were plenty of bedrooms with more than one bed. You looked at Sahed, who smirked at you seductively as you stood in front of the bed, and Sahed leaned against the doorframe.
"You did this, didn't you?", you asked with a frown and in a scolding tone. Sahed nodded his head excitedly, his eyes lighting up and he put his hands in his pockets. You had the urge to bitch-slap him.
"So...there's only one bed, huh?", he said softly, his deep voice sending vibrations your way. You were slowly blushing when your mind played with the thought of all the possibilities which would occur in the next few minutes.
"S-so what...?"
"I don't know, make the best of it?", he answered with a shrug of his shoulders and jumped on the bed.
"Please take your muddy shoes off before you step into the bed...", you grumbled in dissappointment that he didn't pounce on you before you went into the bathroom to open your hairstyle.
Sahed looked at the bathroom door. He then took off his shirt. 'This is going to be so much fun...!'
After you finally managed to open the bun, your head had a spot which absolutely hurt when you make a weird pony (idk but it sometimes happens to me lol) and you massaged the back of your head with a groan.
When you looked up at the silence, you saw Sahed 'sleeping'. You were flushed. It didn't help that sahed had these nice tattoos to begin with, let alone that all his outfits suited him.
Gosh, he looked like a greek sculpture, where the top of his body was free from any suffocating cotton, letting his skin breathe, one arm slung over his eyes to cover them from the light which was still on, and his trousers suited him well. At least he also took off his boots.
You sighed as you went towards him. You knew the game. He acted like he'd be fast asleep in just ten minutes, when you knew he had insomnia (headcannon of mine) and so, you indulged yourself in a little bit of fun...
"Sahed...hey, Sahed...", you whispered before your hand landed on his knee. You felt a little hitch in his breath, your spider-like powers allowing your senses to be heightened.
You smirked.
"C'mon Sahed...wake up...", you murmured and your hand stroked his thigh, massaging it and groping at the nice flesh. Sahed's chest quickened as it rised.
"C'mon, handsome, I know you're awake...at least lemme see your pretty face, hm?", you asked softly before your hands went up, up, up, touched his groin for a moment -and Sahed gasped sharply through a closed mouth- before it kept going up to his abdomen, his chest, his neck, and then his jaw.
"You think you can keep up the act? We'll see about that.", you spoke firmly, but before you knew it, Sahed sat on top of you.
"What the hell do you think you're doing to me, woman?", he growled as he licked up your neck. You could feel his member poking your thigh.
"I just wanted to please you...have my way with you...indulge myself in a little bit of fun?", you gasped. You'd never grow used to the way Sahed made you feel.
He grunted. "Please me, huh? hm...I'd be pleased if I could make you scream tonight...", he breathed into your ear, and you whimpered. Gosh, you were always embarrassed for having a voice kink, but Sahed loved that.
"B-but the walls are very thin...!", you warned, not wanting to get a noise complaint or having everyone stare at you with knowing looks the next day.
"hm...then you'll just have to try to keep your sweet, sexy voice to yourself, gorgeous.", he chuckled before kissing you feverishly. Your hands tangled themselves in his hair, and you pressed up your thigh to meet the gentle thrusts of his hips. He moaned into your mouth sweetly before stopping and buried his head on your shoulder.
"Why'd you stop, handsome?", you asked, kissing the top of his head.
"..."
"You know that I love evey sound you make, right?", you said reassuringly, and heard a tiny "mmhmm...", from your lover.
Sahed loved using his voice to his advantage, but he didn't really prefer making such...vulnerable sounds, and it always bamboozled him that you encouraged that side of him to be shown more often in the bedroom.
You huffed. "C'mon Sahed, I wanna have my fun with you..", you exclaimed with a grunt as you pushed him off of you.
He sat up. "Sit yourself on the headboard.", and he complied.
His back was faced to the headboard, and the pillows behind him secured him from the hard wood. He took your hands as you sat yourself on his lap.
You started kissing him lightly, his hands holding your waist in a soft grip, and with each kiss, the tension grew again, and your kisses also grew needier.
He kissed you back with twice the vigor you showed him, and he moaned into your kisses. Then, he licked your lips, asking for permission. Once you opened your mouth, it was over.
Sahed got the upper hand. He french-kissed you like there was no tomorrow, one of his hands going up to hold the back of your head in order to not push you away with his passionate pecks, and you moaned deeply at the way he held you and handled you.
His other hand gripped your hip tighter, and you circled it around his groin. He groaned.
"N-not so fast, doll...!", he sighed, and you giggled. "Just wanna please you, that's all...", you murmured as you did it slower, relishing in the feeling of having his hard-on dragged across your pussy and you mewled quietly at the nice feeling.
Outside, you two heard the loud voices of Rainah, Kamille and Julia. They seemed to have a pillow fight while you were about to get your world rocked by Sahed. Lucky you.
A slight whimper escaped Sahed at a particular motion you made, and you smirked at his alarmed, flustered face. "Got'cha."
And, well, you just kept making that movement, closing your eyes as you focused on the feeling of his boner rubbing against your clit and his whines, moans and whimpers against your ear.
"Mhm, just like that, baby...moan for me, handsome,", you panted, and your core throbbed in more want as it grew hotter.
Sahed gulped as he tossed his head back in pleasure. You also took this chance as revenge for what he did to you a few weeks ago.
You licked a thick stripe up his neck, reveling at the shudder he made as you gently bit at his neck. He gasped loudly. His body grew hotter and hotter with each peck, suck and lick you gave his neck.
Sahed moaned once you popped off of his neck, having created a sweet hickey and his breathing got ragged. You sighed contently.
"...are you close, my love?", you asked as you kept up with your ministrations, enjoying Sahed's blissed out face. He nodded dreamily with a dumb "u -uh-huh..!", drool coming down his chin as he felt his orgasm approaching.
You just licked away the drool before your tongue invaded his mouth again, his mushed brain too far gone to think of anything else than him cumming any moment and you, who was just so perfect and nice and sweet and pretty and hot and sexy and everything he's looking in a woman.
It honestly felt like you two were teenagers again, and not some decade or century old people. The sounds Sahed made shouldn't be heard by anyone else, yet here you were, in a dark room which only got lit up by the moon outside with the window wide open, Kamille, Julia and Rainah just next door. It felt like you two shouldn't be doing this. It felt like it was forbidden, like you could get caught any moment, like-
Sahed arched his back, his eyes scrunching shut in pleasure as he whimpered your name as he came. He shuddered, and you hugged him close as you kissed everything of his body you could reach.
"What a good boy you are...cumming so prettily..", you murmured as you kissed the side of his face. Sahed panted, then he leaned back with a blissed out face before he furrowed his brows.
"...It feels weird."
"Cumming in your pants?"
"Yes. Sorry love," Sahed said before lifting you up quickly and putting you down a bit away from him as he stood up and took out his pants.
"Nice ass, baby.", you flirted, and Sahed chuckled with a blush. "Yours looks better."
"That's debatable."
Sahed sighed again as he looked at his pants, which were now in his hands. "...Should I just let them soak in some water?"
You stood up and took his pants. "Relax, baby. I want you to lay in bed, okay?", you spoke before you gave him a lil kiss and went to the bathroom to attend to his trousers.
When you came back, Sahed laid there, sideways, facing you, one hand holding up his hand as the other one rested on his hip. With another erection.
However, what caught your eye the most was the dark red rose he had between his teeth as he wiggled his eyebrows. you giggled at his dorkyness before taking the rose from his lips, kissing them, smelling the rose a bit before putting it into a nearby vase and taking off your clothes as well.
Sahed's eyes widened as his mouth turned upwards in excitement. After you were done, you sat yourself next to him again and kissed him passionately, and he moaned into your lips.
You pushed him again, but instead of his back stumbling against the headboard, his head met the pillows, as he laid there, looking up at you with biting his lip.
You hummed. "mmh, I could just eat you, Sahed...why do you have to look so tasty, huh?", you asked, your hands raking up and down his thighs as you sat between his legs, and he propped himself up with his elbows.
He flushed when you asked him that, but he wanted for you to touch him, jerk him off, suck his cock, or ride him, anything...! He started to breath heavily again, his legs twitching when your thumbs pressed into his inner thighs gently, and he looked up at you with a desperate expression.
"P-please, ____...! please...", he moaned when you smiled at him. You loved that he'd even moan at the sight of you, but you wanted to tease him a little, I mean, it wouldn't harm anybody, right?
"Hm? Please what, my love? C'mon, use your pretty voice."
Sahed groaned in frustration. He knew you'd give everything he'd want, he didn't even have to ask, but it's just...he was very impatient, and talking became such a hassle at the moment, that all he could do was whine as he fell back and closed his eyes when you patted his abdomen, only curtly, briefly touching his angry red tip.
sahed gave up. "Please touch me, ____! Touch my cock, please!", he exclaimed, but you quickly put your hand over his mouth. Everything got silent.
Even the pillow fight stopped. Sahed's eyes widened with a heavy blush as he looked out of the window with an alarmed expression.
"Did you guys hear that?", Julia -you guessed- asked.
"Huh? I think I heard something too...", Kamille spoke. Sahed grunted when you touched him now of all times, your thumb swirling around his dick as you put away your hand from his mouth.
Sahed shook his head in fear when you started moving your hand up and down, your other hand, which was holding his mouth shut now massaging his testicles. He whimpered.
Rainah spoke this time. "Me too...hey, maybe we should go and check out the nearby circus Anthonn told us about! Maybe they have something we don't?", the female Ah'kon asked, earning cheers from Julia and Kamille.
Sahed sighed in relief before he gasped sharply when your mouth gently bit his tip. "n-o..no noo...no, please--d-don't!", Sahed whisper-yelled -he begged desperately- as he tried to take his dick away from your mouth, but you suddenly deep-throated him, and he was gone, falling to his back from his sitting position he had made when he heard the girls next room.
He moaned in delight when your tongue massaged the base of his shaft before raising your head and sucking his dick upwards, making his toes curl as he arched his back cutely again. "Ah...ah, ah..._-____...! ...s...so good...please...d-don't stop...!", he sighed and whimpered as you kept bobbing your head slowly.
You could honestly fall asleep right then and there. Sahed's cock was something you didn't mind having in your mouth. Quite the opposite. You loved having his dick down your throat as you could please him, and he also fit snugly, not bothering anybody. You were basically killing two birds with a stone.
You also felt the cool air on your slick which went down your thighs as you got wet from the noises your mouth made, mixed with Sahed's whimpers and moans, and you were slowly starting to shake. Your clit was throbbing in pain and attention of Sahed's member rubbing itself against it and then the walls within your small vagina, but it'd all have to wait until Sahed would tell Rainah off, who suddenly knocked on the door.
"Hey, Sahed, ____! Would you like to go to the circus with us?", she asked. Rainah didn't know what happened on the other side of the door, and as she was met with silence, she grew curious.
'hm...they can't have fallen asleep in just half an hour...they were very chatty before-?!', she thought as she put her ear on the door and finally heard it.
Faint moans, some sheets rustling -Sahed kicking his legs around in pleasure- and also your squelching noises. Rainah blushed deeply in embarrassment, scolding herself for listening in to you two having an intimate moment.
When the footsteps of Rainah finally retreated, you began to suck harder, and even latched onto his balls as you jerked him off violently. Sahed gripped the sheets tightly, his knuckles turning white as he kept gasping and moaning loudly at the suddenly multiplied amount of pleasure you gave him within the span of a moment.
"_-___! I-I might c-cum! Ah, w-w-wait...ngh...wait! Ah,....ahm...wait, ____, please!!", he cried, tears of pleasure clouding his vision as he held your head close to his pubes, but his words had a different meaning.
It was like his brain was fighting against his body. You found it cute. But, you just kept on pleasing him until he came again.
Sahed groaned this time, as he thrusted his hips upward into your hot and warm mouth, and you gagged a few times, before he spilled his semen down your throat.
You felt his dick softening against your tongue and you swallowed his cum before gently latching off of it. You panted as you looked down on him. He came twice now, and it seemed like he was slowly getting tired. He was breathing for air as you laid down next to him and hugged him close to you.
"how are you? Do you need something?", you whispered softly as you stroked his blonde bangs from his place, kissing his third eye lovingly on its eyelid.
Sahed only blushed as he buried his nose and mouth in your chest, his arms wrapping tightly around your waist as he tried to calm his breathing.
"You...only you..", he said softly and you giggled. "Alright."
...
after some time, you felt him getting hard again as you were about to doze off, and when you looked down at him with a deadpan did he only bury his face deeper into your boobs, while shamelessly humping your thigh.
'Jeez...how much stamina does Sahed have?', you thought before Sahed sat up and started kissing you.
"Mind if we have a third round? And I'll please you this time."
