can u write an smutty hate sex story with nat as the mean boss and reader a her assistant 🤭
Distraction. | N. Romanoff
G!P CEO!Natasha x Assistent!Reader
Tumblr media
MINORS DNI!!! (18*!)
warnings: Office sex, nat has a penis, Mommy kink, rough sex, spanking, choking, begging, dirty talk
Word count: 1,6K
A/n: I was carried away and hope that’s the task you asked for..Because I totally forget the hate in it :,)
It was a relaxed day, as usual. You got up early today, got ready and showed up at work quite early. Before that, of course, you stopped by Mrs. Romanoff's Cafe to get her usual latte. You paid with the company card and are now sitting ready in your chair, behind your desk.
You had already started sorting your work and when you saw the plan for today, you had to pause for a moment. You see a name on the list, and you knew what it meant. You try not to wrap your head around it until you notice your colleagues tense around you. You look at the time and realize that there is one minute before Mrs. Romanoff enters. You take another deep breath and stand up and a few seconds later, you hear the elevator door open from far away and get ready as you do every day. She entered without taking her eyes off her phone. Everywhere you could hear a 'good morning' until she arrived in your hallway. She walks past your desk, and before she could open her own office door, you stop her, "Mrs. Romanoff? Your latte." She stopped and looked up at you.
You hold the latte out to her and she takes it. She smelled it for a moment and then looked directly at you, "What's on the agenda today?" You knew the question was coming. Like every time, and you were prepared, "Nothing big for the first three hours and at noon you have a meeting with..Mr Stark.." You knew what Natasha thought of him. Nothing at all. However, he is one of the biggest sponsors of the whole company, and so Natasha has to put up with him.
You see how one of her eyebrows twitched, and then she went to her office and the door closed.
You had spent the first few hours planning Natasha's future plans and meetings and notifying the people to be there. You wrote a few emails and made a few phone calls. You were so engrossed in your work that you didn't even notice Tony Stark marching into Natasha's office.
You know what that entails, and you were lucky that her office is a good distance away from the other colleagues....
You could barely concentrate because you kept trying to catch sounds from the room, but it was no use. The walls were just too thick. After about 20 minutes, the door opened again and Tony came out. He had a different face on, like he did a few minutes ago, so you knew it was business as usual. He looks at you, sighs, and walks out. You try to find connections until you saw the message on your laptop to come to Natasha's office. So you take another deep breath, stand up and walk in.
You like her office. It was definitely bigger than your apartment and was all glass on the left. It also had a huge rooftop terrace that was great for summer. There you had also held the introductory conversation with her and..signed the other contract, for moments like this one.
She sits at her table, massaging her forehead, "I'm afraid that conversation didn't go well?" If you didn't have such a..relationship with her, you would never have asked that question. But you're here for that very reason. To take away the stress she has.
She sees you and leans back in her chair, "As usual. This guy is just too cocky! Thinks he has the right to boss me, ME, around! Just because he..Urgh!" She loosened her shirt and undid the first two buttons that were on it, "Come here..." She looks at you and you immediately obey. You walk towards her and bypass the table. She turns in your direction, and indicates that you should sit on her lap. You sit down and her hands immediately settled on your thighs and she looks up at you, "Mommy needs a distraction, do you think you can help me with that?" Her tone was gentle. You just nod, and suddenly you notice a pull in your right thigh. She knees you as it wasn't enough, "Y-yes, I can help here..." She looks deeply at you and smirks, "Good girl..." She turns you both back to her table and leans you on the front so your upper body is flat on it, "Always so good for me..."
You slowly get ready, but again you had to shamefully admit that just the way she talked to you for the last two minutes was enough to make you so fucking horny. She fucks well..So well that so far no few people had ever made you climax again.
You hear her undo her belt and a little later you notice her pushing your panties to the side and grunting out, "As always..Do I make you so wet, baby?" Fuuck, if she keeps talking like that it will be over in a few seconds, "Always for you, mommy..." That's what she liked about you. You were so fucking obedient, you have manners and of course a good pussy.
She smirked at herself and pushed right into you. You slid your body forward, and she held you by the shoulders to keep you still. "Fuck..No matter how many times I take you here, you're still so fucking tight, fuck!" She pushed in further and further until you could feel her completely. You try to hold on somewhere to somehow accommodate the feeling, "Stark really thinks he'd do a better job than me..What do you think, Baby, huh? Could he replace me?" You had to pull yourself together not to forget the question right away, "n-No..No one, AH! No one can replace you..!" Your statement seemed to trigger something in her as she suddenly pushed into you faster, "That's right. I'm the only one who can run this place!"
She got rougher. She grabbed your cheeks and pushed into you with more force. You couldn't take it anymore and let out a loud moan. But it was interrupted when Natasha put a hand around your mouth, "How many times do I have to tell you that while I enjoy hearing your sounds, it's more than inappropriate here? Do you want everyone to know what a slut you are for me?" You shake your head, "Thought so."
"hmph!!!" She pushed in as deep as she could, feeling her orgasm getting closer and closer. "That's right. Show me how good I make you feel!" She didn't care. If someone could hear you, it is your fault and not hers. She took her hand away and sped up her movements. All you could hear was the moaning and skin contact in the room.
"Nata-mommy, please..." you plead. You completely lost your self-control and just wanted your releases. "Please what?" She is annoyed. Do you want something from her now too? Why can't anyone here work independently?
"Do you need more? Do I have to do all the work again? What are you getting paid for anyway?" She moans and snaps her hips at you. "Fuck, Tony really wanted me to know you'd be better off with him..." she snorts. She holds your ass and spreads you open so her eyes have the perfect view of her cock ruining your pussy, "What do you say, would you rather go to him? Do you want him to take you like this?" She began to move even faster, her hand sliding down to your clit, "No! Only you can- fuck! Can- so well...”
She slows down and smiles as she sees your body start to shake more and more. She pulled her hand from your clit and wiped it on your ass, and you were afraid she was done with you, "Please! D-Don’t stop! Please mommy, let me cum, please..." Your face was already so wet and red that anyone would know what happened if you left this room in the next few minutes. So at least it should be worth it....
She leans over you, her chest pressing against your back, "Relax baby..I can feel your fucking fear in your pussy..." You close your eyes, ashamed of being so easy to read. "It's okay..." Her hands slowly slide to your back and push you further down onto the table, "Just stay like that for me, and you'll get filled, is that what you want? Do you want mommy to fill you?"
"Yes please!!!" you whine. She slaps you hard on your ass and grabs your neck. She pulls you back to her. She fucks you harder and faster as her hand slides down to your clit again and starts rubbing it.
"Fuck!!!" You cry out, and Natasha just had to laugh. "Come on, come on my cock Y/n, cum...!" She moans out as well, and your voice breaks off as you release on her cock, and you squirm in all directions. Natasha clenches your neck with strength to keep her from moaning all over the room as well. Your eyes rolled back and you sobbed. When you came down completely from your height, you collapse like a lifeless body in Natasha's arms. She wraps her arms around you and rests her head on your shoulder, "You did great again, thank you..."

Random small headcanons for my fav SJM men
Those are totally random thoughts I had and just kept collecting, also I'll be adding new ones when I'll come up with something. Feel free to reblog and add yours <3
I think Gavriel can draw really well, especially with pencil. Like, you know, he's a really precise and detailed guy, plus thanks to his soldier skills he has really stable hands, and it just sits right with me
Azriel loves when you paint his nails black. Also once you made him wear eyeliner and he actually really liked the results, so now from time to time he lets you do it
Aedion has his ears pierced but doesn't wear any earrings (it was probably a dare, even more likely he was drunk then)
Ruhn likes to have a small, faint lamp put on when he sleeps. It looks like a white sparkle and doesn't cast much light but having it next to his bed makes him feel somehow more safe and comfy
Also, he loves being held while sleeping. When you let him snuggle to your chest and hold him tight... It's his paradise, he can stay like this for eternity
Cassian is very ticklish (especially on feet). It's actually his secret because, come on, he's the Lord of Bloodshed, how can he be ticklish? And of course you fully respect that, not wanting his reputation to suffer, however, when it's just the two of you... Let's say Cass has to be pretty alert most times as you love to take advantage of that
Fenrys always brings you a plushie from his travels to foreign countries. Actually, he brings you many different things like jewellery, dresses, combs, mirrors, gems... everything. But a plushie, is a must. You have a whole collection of small cute stuffed animals (mostly wolves) from different parts of the world. Every one of them has a name, personality and a back story which you and Fenrys always come up with
Aedion is a horse girl. He rides so well and just loved being around those animals since he was a little boy. Often he takes you on all day long trips around Terrasen. Also he has few of his favorite horses and he spoils them so much, they're just his babies.
He also probably has like six dogs and wants to adopt every one he sees on the street
Lorcan most of the times either doesn't cuddle or is the big spoon. However, after really hard day he loves to fall asleep with his face in your breasts and his hair stroked
Sometimes when Rowan is engrossed in his work, he hums songs mindlessly
Fenrys talks in his sleep, and this goes to the point where you can literally argue with him or have a whole conversation as he's asleep
Aedion swears a lot. Gavriel doesn't swear almost ever and his face when Aedion starts throwing curses he could never imagine is just priceless
However, Gavriel knows many langues. So, whenever he's angry and finally hit his breaking point, he starts shit talking and insulting everyone in a foreign langue no one knows (just imagine him aggressively talking to himself in Spanish while walking around and throwing hands in the air lol)
Cassian always sleeps naked and refuses (will literally get offended) to do otherwise, even if there are different people sleeping in the room (read: Azriel)
Dorian baby talks to his dogs. Sometimes when he does this he forgets that he is a king and then have the whole castle talking about it for the next week (people find it adorable though. some of them at least.)
Rowan always has some blades with him. Always. Dude could be standing in the room only in his boxers and still proceed to pull out a knife from gods know where
Also, he will never admit it but he has some of his favorite blades that he had named. But if you'd ever done this he would laugh at you
Once you've gotten Ruhn a bracelet for his birthday that was a guitar pick of his favorite guitarist on a black string and from then he doesn't take it off. Ever.
We know Ruhn has this very rare and useful ability to speak in people's minds, however his favorite way to use those abilities is to make the dumbest jokes in your head in the most random moments and watch you burst out laughing around all those strangers that have no idea what is going on
GAVRIEL HAS DIMPLES
AND SO FUCKING DOES AEDION
(he also got the big d genes from him but it's the topic for other post)
So, Fenrys is a master at coming up with the weirdest nicknames for his loved one, however, no one compares to Cassian in this matter. His creativity sometimes is more than flesh and blood can bear
Lorcan is actually the biggest girl dad
Let's be honest, Dorian has better skin care than any lady in the whole sjm universe
Cassian loves being called your pretty princess
Azriel loves puzzles. And Legos! There's no better way to spend your day off than building castles and forts, and then having an actual battle between your kingdoms
Bat boys are not really fond of thunder... I think they have bad experiences with flying during storm and it haunts them to this day. They always want to be the little spoons and be cuddled when there's a storm outside
Azriel has bat slippers and Fenrys has wolf or bunny slippers
Dorian loves wearing sygnets. He has so many and you're simply obsessed with them. He's a king, he has to look decent, you know, but Dorian loves wearing them even if it's just the two of you snuggling or sitting in the library reading. Or when he fucks you and you can feel them dig into your skin when he grabs your ass..
Lorcan enjoys having his hair combed. He just melts when you do it. And if you do a little braid somewhere on his head he will keep it and wear it for the next few days
Gavriel is the best dancer you will ever meet. On the balls he can easily make everyone's attention turn to the two of you. But he also likes to dance with you in your house or chambers, where there are no people or music, and to be honest both of you like those moments much better
To be continued....

that kind of devotion | anarcia (7)
yayy chapter seven is here :) as always, don't forget to check it out on ao3 !! and leave a comment if you liked it teehee
---
For the next two weeks, Marcia found herself texting Lotus every waking moment. During breaks, during dinner, any free time she had was spent laughing at her jokes or smiling at a picture she sent. She got to find out she loved ducks (through the several pictures she sent of the ones at the nearby park- Marcia didn't mind though) to her favorite song (Boss Bitch by Doja Cat, a song Marcia had found herself listening to nonstop lately). If she was lucky, Lotus would even call her after her patrol, and the two would talk for hours. They mostly talked about their day and the investigation, but sometimes Marcia would slip in a story about her growing up, or Lotus would tell her a story about Sasha. The two had grown much closer in the past two weeks, getting along like a house on fire.
Even now, she was sitting on the couch texting Lotus. She giggled at a text the other girl had sent before she was drawn out of her thoughts by someone nudging her leg. "I need to sit down too, you know." Luxx rolled her eyes as she sat down, handing Marcia her food. "Put your phone down and eat, you've been glued to that thing lately. It's your one day off and you've ignored me the whole morning!"
Marcia takes the food from her, "I'm sorry! It's just so...exciting! We've pretty much gone from talking a few times a month to every day, it's hard not to be so engrossed."
"Aww, she's down bad." Luxx teased her.
"No, I'm not down bad. I'm a lover."
"Marsh, that's the same thing."
"It's totally not! Well...maybe a little. Whatever..." She flushed in embarrassment, rolling her eyes. Luxx chuckled at her,  "Isn't that sweet, you know I haven't seen you this excited over a girl since that one in college...what was her name again?" Marcia cringed at the memory, she had to admit she may have the tendency to fall for people quite easily, but Lotus wasn't the same.
"That's not the same thing. Lotus is different."
Luxx raised her eyebrow, so she continued, "She shows genuine interest in me. She cares about my theatre stuff and how my day is. She texts me pictures of cute dogs she sees because she knows I'll love them. She's...thoughtful. Also, she didn't forget my name after one date, so she's already leagues ahead of Caitlin."
Luxx laughed, "Oh my god, I forgot about that! What did she call you again? Maria?"
"Miriam. She said she knew it was some old lady's name."
"Oh my god, she was awful. I'm so glad that lasted like, two weeks."
"You and me both. Anyways, what were you thinking of doing?"
"Well, since we're all getting together after your show tomorrow, I figured we could just lie low today. We could go to that coffee shop you like and people-watch."
Marcia was sold. "You know me so well, Luxx."
"Of course I do. We've been friends for like 10 years, it'd be sad if I didn't. Now let's go, I want to get a good spot before it gets busy."
-
They arrived at the small shop, setting their items down on the counter facing the biggest window. Marcia took a seat, taking out her drawing supplies as Luxx went to grab their drinks. It had been a while since they had been able to do this- they used to do it all the time in college, watching the people pass by and wonder about their lives while they worked on essays or assignments. They would wonder about their own lives, and what the future would be like. Marcia likes to think her younger self would be proud of where she is now. It makes her smile.
"One tea with honey for you...and an espresso for me!" Luxx hums as she sits the drinks down, sliding onto the seat beside Marcia. She brings out her own drawing materials, peering out the window.
"I missed this. Feels like it's been forever since we've done this."
"I know, it feels like we barely have time anymore. I guess that's what it means to be an adult."
Luxx nodded, her pencil sketching across the page. "Such is capitalism. Ugh, I'm so antsy to get this collection done. We're almost ready to go into production, so my stress is mostly over."
"Oh, I'm excited to see the collection! You're taking me to see the show, right?"
"Who else is going to be my plus one?" She laughs, taking a sip of her drink. "Oh yeah, that's good. Fuck, I've missed good coffee. The office coffee is so shitty, Marsh. Oh my god, it's horrible."
Marcia smiled, opening her own sketchbook as she began sketching some of the people outside. "For a luxury brand, you would think they could afford a better coffee machine." She laughed, scribbling in a woman's dark coat. "Maybe they'll get you a new one for Christmas."
Luxx rolled her eyes, "Please, don't give me hope. Irene keeps saying she's going to fix it and improve it herself but we've been so swamped she hasn't had time yet." She looked up for her next target before selecting a man with a dog. "Look at that dog- isn't it cute? Ugh, I wish I was better at animals. It looks like a rat."
Marcia leaned over to look at the sketch, rolling her eyes. "It looks great, you're being dramatic. That is a cute dog though, what a baby." She cooed, snapping a picture of it before she sent it to Lotus. "How is the collection going anyway? Weren't you guys almost done like, a month ago?"
"Well, we were going through final revisions, but they decided to scrap some of the looks so we had to come up with some new ones. I'm hoping this will be the final round though. I've got some of the early concepts for designs in here though." She answers, flipping through her sketchbook to show Marcia some of the designs.
She always admired the other girls' aesthetic, Luxx's usual grungy and dark designs had seemed to translate perfectly to spring fashion. Desaturated colors and skirts with purposeful rips and tears turned a skirt into the shape of a flower, an impressive feat. Marcia had seen Luxx make gorgeous designs that weren't her aesthetic, but these ones were special. She always loved it when Luxx could show her passion through her designs.
"Dark forest...what a theme, right?" She softly chuckles, flipping back to the sketch she was working on. "I like it though. I think it'll be our best collection yet."
Marcia proudly smiles, returning to her own sketch of some scenery. They sketched in comfortable silence for some time, Marcia having stopped sketching the people outside and started sketching Lotus. She didn't mean to, it was just sort of a habit at this point.
"That's really good, is that Lotus?" Luxx asks, leaning over. Marcia nods, her face tinged red. "Is she coming to your performance tomorrow?"
"No, but she's coming for my first night as Elle. I'm really excited, I hope she'll like my performance- I've been working so hard on it. God, I hope it goes well, what if I choke?"
"You won't choke. You were like, born for this. You're gonna kill it."
Marcia smiles at her, "Thanks, Luxx."
-
Luxx volunteered for dinner duty that night, allowing Marcia a moment to herself. To debrief, to prepare herself for tomorrow. She felt the nerves creeping up, like they did for every show she had done. She had to remind herself that it was going to go well, that she was going to do well. She focused on the warm water of the shower that was beginning to turn cold- maybe she had been in there longer than she thought.
She stepped out of the shower, wrapping her hair in a soft pink towel before beginning to dry herself off. It was nice, and for a moment she felt calm as she blow-dried her hair, the muffled music of Ariana Grande playing in the background. 7 rings was interrupted by the ringing of her phone, Marcia clicked off the hair dryer as she answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Hey, doll." Lotus' voice came from the other end. "Are you able to talk?"
Marcia hummed, "For a little bit- Luxx will kill me if I miss dinner." She wrapped her soft pink robe around her as she left the bathroom and entered her bedroom across the hall. "I thought you're usually on patrol around this time of day?"
"I am, but it's always a slow start. Thought I'd talk to you until I get a call."
She softly smiled, "Well, I won't complain about that. How's your day been?"
"Pretty standard. I'm hanging out with my coworker soon, but other than that nothing of note. But enough about me- you're gonna be on Broadway tomorrow! How are you feeling?"
"Nervous. Excited. I can't tell- I think it's both." She chuckled, "I know I'll probably do well, but it's just those pre-show nerves, you know?"
"Nah, I know you're gonna crush it."
"But how do you know? What if I...I don't know, trip and break my arm or something."
"I think you'd still perform, even if you had to be in a cast. Don't worry. Besides, isn't the saying break a leg?"
Marcia softly sighed, a smile creeping onto her face as she rummaged through her dresser for her pajamas. "Yeah, it is...and you're probably right. I'm way too excited about this. I just can't believe it's finally happening!"
She heard a faint buzzing on the other line, vaguely recognizing it as the sound of a call.
"Do you have to go?"
Lotus sighed, "Yeah. I do. I'm sorry. Hey- break a leg tomorrow. You're gonna kill it."
Marcia smiled. "Thanks, I will."
She heard Lotus laugh, she could practically see the other girls smile in her head.
"Atta girl."
-
The next morning was a blur. She remembered waking up to a 'break a leg ;)' text from Lotus and eating breakfast with Luxx, but time seemed to fly by after that. Her usual subway ride seemed to take five minutes, and their rehearsal that morning felt like it had happened in a second.
Now, she was in the dressing room with her castmates, all giddy and excited for the show. She applied the last of her blush and made sure her costume was perfect, waiting in the wings with the rest of the ensemble for the first number to start. Many were excitedly whispering to each other, the air in the theatre felt electric.
"Who's here for you tonight, Marcia?" One of her castmates and friends, Plasma, asked her.
"My friends and one of my cousins- we're going out afterward. What about you?"
"Some of my friends- and my mom, she flew in from Texas to be here. I can't believe it's opening night!" She excitedly shook Marcia's arm, causing her to smile.
"I know. Oh! There's the house lights, we're going!" She excitedly whispered, taking her place in preparation. She felt the anxiety returning to her chest, taking a deep breath as the curtains drew open.
They began their first number, which went as perfectly as it could. Marcia hit all the right steps, all the right notes, and stayed in character the entire time. She felt the anxiety in her chest dissipate after the first number, it turning into a feeling of joy. She felt good going into the second number, which turned into feeling great for the entire first act. During intermission, she and Plasma celebrated their success, which meant excitedly talking about the show while they made costume and makeup adjustments for the second act.
The second act also went spectacularly. She could tell the entire cast was bringing their all, and the audience could too. Every time the audience laughed or cheered her drive became stronger, causing her to perform even better. By the time curtain call came, she was exhausted- but proud. As she bowed with the rest of the ensemble, she could hear Luxx's cheers above the rest. She couldn't see her group because of the house lights, but that was enough to put a smile on her face.
She's able to get out of her costume and makeup fairly quickly, only delayed by her and Plasma geeking out about the show- releasing the remainder of the energy they had for the night. Eventually, she gathered her things and left, signing some things for a few fans at the stage door before spotting her friends.
"MARSHALL!" Luxx squealed, tightly hugging the other girl. Marcia giggled as her friends swarmed her, excitement filling the air. Jan raved on and on about her vocals and dance moves, her cousin was a fellow theatre nerd and they often spent their childhood watching different musicals (and poorly reenacting them). Robin, although less experienced in the theatre world, complimented her performance and gave her a bouquet- which Amethyst almost crushed as she pulled the group in to take a photo.
Marcia feels elated as the group returns to her apartment, giving her time to change into a sparkly mini-dress. She quickly shot a text to Lotus before coming back out, rejoining the girls who had also changed. They took a quick shot of some tequila they had lying around the house before heading to the nearest gay bar.
-
"My girlfriend said she and her friend are a few minutes away," Robin yelled above the noise, trying to keep Amethyst from getting swallowed up by the crowd. "I'm making them get us drinks- what does everyone want?"
The girls shouted out their various drink orders to Robin, drowned out by the club's music. The lights strobed and Marcia could feel her body vibrating from the bass. She danced with Luxx and Amethyst, letting herself go and focusing on having fun- she deserved it, after all. She felt her legs growing sore, but it didn't bother her. She would regret it in the morning, however it wasn't anything she couldn't deal with.
They only stopped dancing when Robin squealed, throwing herself into the arms of a girl who had just walked up. "That's Aura," Amethyst shouted so they could hear, the other girls nodding along. "Who's that beside her?" Marcia asked, referring to the girl who had appeared beside Aura.
She was wearing a short red dress and a leather jacket, and her long light-colored hair was straight and worn down, with some bobby pins to keep her bangs back. She looked like she had some darker streaks in her hair, but she couldn't be too sure with the blaring club lights. From what Marcia could see, she had a pretty athletic build and a scar over her left eye. She felt like she knew the girl, but she couldn't place her finger on why.
"I guess her friend," Amethyst whispered in her ear, "She's hot, right? Is she glaring at us though?" Marcia turned her attention back to the other woman, Amethyst was right- she did seem to be glaring, but she couldn't even clearly see the girl because of the flashing lights.
"Can't tell."
Aura and Robin finally broke apart, allowing Aura to shift her attention to the other girl.
"Oh! This is one of my friends, Anetra!" The other girl nodded her head in greeting. "She doesn't bite, she just has chronic RBF." Aura laughed, Anetra rolled her eyes and playfully elbowed her. Amethyst introduced herself first before Marcia did- she noticed the girl's eyes widen a bit before returning to normal. That was strange, did she recognize her too?
She was going to talk to her more when Aura pulled her away to go get the group's drinks, putting a pin in her plan. That was fine, she'd just talk to her when she returned. However, Anetra didn't return. Aura came back alone, balancing the drinks in her arms.
"Where'd Anetra go?" Luxx asked, taking her drink from Aura.
"She got a call while we were waiting at the bar- came back and said there was an emergency and dashed out. She seemed stressed about it."
"I hope she's okay..." Marcia worried, "Poor girl just got here."
"I'll check up on her later, she's a tough cookie so I'm sure she'll be fine."
That was the last they talked about it, the rest of the night was a blur as they danced and drank until their feet hurt. Marcia tried to tone it down so she wouldn't feel as miserable tomorrow, which worked to some degree. She and Luxx left around 1 am, both deciding to be somewhat responsible. She quickly changed into her pajamas, almost passing out the instant she hit the bed. She shot off a goodnight text to Lotus, who still hadn't answered her last message, which was odd. She worried something may have happened, but she pushed that thought to the back of her mind- she was just paranoid.

Slay okay now this isn’t exactly smutty but walk with me here. Warning: I am a D1 yapper.
You and Damien love doing eachother’s nails😵‍💫 specifically you love making them match😵‍💫 like he paints yours all black except for your ring fingers, which are purple. His are the opposite, all purple with black ring fingers😵‍💫
Maybe you guys have kept your relationship on the down low because you work together (I’m thinking reader is a crew member, maybe art department). Everyone knows you and Damien are like best friends at work so they don’t totally question (or even notice) the nails.
But one day he posts a soft launchey pic on his insta story of you guys holding hands. It’s blurry and very low exposure like any good soft launch is, but the matching painted nails are a dead giveaway. You don’t hear the end of it at work the next day.
Feel like you guys would have been responsible though and told Ian and Anthony, who were all for it and swore to keep it a secret until you guys were ready. They’re just sitting in the building, which has descended into chaos at the revelation. Courtney’s like “YOU TWO KNEW?! YOU KNEW AND DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING?!” I just know Ian would be smug as helllll about it too.
Claiming this emoji if I can bc I feel like it’s kinda Damien coded 👾
No because instead of just Ian and Anthony knowing I'm 100% certain Shayne and Spencer would also be in the loop. I can hear Angela screaming at both of them for keeping it a secret.
Also the nail idea please I can imagine him holding your hand so gently while he tries to keep the brush steady in his hands and keep the polish off your skin. Talking to you about his day while you do his nails and forgetting that he has to stay still and accidentally talking with his hands and inadvertently smudging the colors on his fingers. He'd be so apologetic and you'd just be laughing cause of course he'd get so engrossed in his train of thought that he would forget you had paint next to his hands.

“They totally have a crush on each other.” Her friend Jesy whispers, poking her arm. Marti, distracted, looks back at her with a questioning look. “Mr. Nelson and Mr. Spring. They totally have a crush on each other, don’t they?”
“They totally do.” Marti giggles. “I thought I was the only one who noticed that. (...) We should do something about it.” She pops her head up, leaning into Jesy’s shoulder to whisper quietly. At the friend’s confusion, she gestures with her head to the teachers, engrossed in a conversation inside their little bubble once again. “Try to get them together.”
“I’m not sure if meddling is a very good idea when we’re talking about our teachers.”

Martina can't help but notice the infatuated way her French teacher, Mr. Nelson, and her Music teacher, Mr. Spring, look at each other. I've debated sending this for some time, and I will leave it up to you as to whether you want to share it or not.
I still remember the first time we ever met. You may not and that is totally cool. It was at a small convention in Seattle about 8 years ago, there was a dance/ball on that Saturday.
Now i had been totally engrossed in the reading of "The Way Down, which remains one of, if not my favourite stories of yours, but I digress. There was this sort of shuffle of a activity, and I went to investigate to see what was happening. It was you. You had arrived and your were being introduced to a lot of people. Somehow, not sure if I was introduced, or if you asked.
Now here's the part I will always remember. You turned, and looked at me, really looked and smiled. and said, "oh hi!" like you knew who I was. You recognized me!
What you don't know was I had been to other conventions been introduced to other "well known writers" and honestly others not so well known. Prior to this evening, the usual response was to look at me like, "who the hell are you" to nod and then turn away and start engaging with others. Now, i realise and understand that my name is not one easily known or recognized, And that is okay.
But you did. You did not turn away, or ignore me, or give that look. Yu did not do any of that. Now, if you were in that stage of current social panic that we can quite frequently find ourselves in, and have no memory of me or that evening. This is more than fine. All i know is you made me feel seen and known. and that i will never forget. so thank you so much for that.
Of course I remember. I shouldn't say "of course," because I actually have a terrible memory, even for things I care about. But I definitely remember meeting you.
You were the only person who was friendly to me at that convention.
I don't mean that other people were cruel or unkind, but I had wanted to come specifically so I could talk to people about H/D. I didn't have any H/D friends at the time (besides the folks that I later brought to the con, but I will say they were not terribly into H/D at the time--it was jad and another friend who was mostly a lurker), and I really wanted to make some. I have a lot of social anxiety, but I am actually extremely good at hiding it. People are usually shocked when I tell them how hard social things are for me. I was very ready to make friends, and . . . I definitely didn't.
It's funny the way you remember this, because I remember it very differently. I truly think this must be longer ago than 8 years; considering the job I had at that time and the fic I had written, I'm pretty sure this was 2011 or 2012, but as I said, my memory is terrible, so maybe you're right. But I feel pretty sure!
I remember arriving, people being friendly and eager to meet, asking my username. I remember telling them and them doing exactly what you say: the blankness, the "oh, huh, I don't know that name," then turning away to talk to someone else. I was sad about this. I thought that maybe someone would have read my fic, and that could be a little ice-breaker, and I wouldn't have to work so hard to get to know them because they would want to know me. After the first few times this happened, I was embarrassed that I ever thought anyone would recognize my user name, and I felt very arrogant, and felt that of course people wouldn't recognize my name, and of course I should work hard to make friends, just as everyone has to.
And I did work at it! My job at the time was not only talking to strangers, it was literally teaching other people how to engage with strangers--and not to sell stuff, but to get them interested and curious about the world around them. I worked at a science museum! I was good at listening and asking questions. But I literally got the feeling that no one wanted to talk to someone they did not know, which was crazy to me. It was a con!
Anyway, what I remember was that everyone kind of drifted away, but later, you came up and seemed to be there for the reason that I was--to meet people who liked HP slash and wanted to talk about it. I remember you asked who I was, and I told you, and you knew who I was. Let me tell you, by that point, I was convinced that I was a complete asshole for thinking that my fics were somehow popular enough to have been read by anyone at this convention, and I felt a great deal of gratitude and relief that you seemed to care about my fics, and that you wanted to talk in the first place. And I recognized your name as someone I had seen about on LJ, and I was really glad for a familiar face, as it were.
Now I do have a confession that I have had you friended on tumblr for a while, I think; I feel like as soon as I saw the username (which I don't always do right when someone friends me; I can't always pay attention to my email so miss a lot of things) I friended you back because of this little interaction . . . but this whole time, I have always been afraid I remembered your name wrong, and that you were someone else! And on the last ask you just left a bit earlier, I was thinking about sucking it up and asking if you were the same person, just to clear up this little confusion of mine just in case!
I really regret that I didn't clear it up before, and that I didn't reach out to you after the con to thank you for talking to me, and that I didn't make more of an effort. I don't know how to say this without sounding kind of bratty or maybe ungrateful, but I really, really struggled to make friends in this fandom for years and years. I actually think that con is when I pretty much stopped trying. I had a bad time, and while that was no one's fault, I couldn't help but feel like it had to do with the idea that people only want to talk to people they know, or only want to talk to people whose fic is famous.
I say that this may sound ungrateful or bratty because now, I think it's pretty safe to say my fic is somewhat known, and meanwhile, I have stopped trying to make the effort to get to know people. It's hard to do, and I am a tired person, and while most of my lifelong friends were made through fandom, there are so many people I can keep up with. But I'm grateful you were at that con, and I'm grateful I met you, and thank you for this ask.
If you are ever in Seattle again, I would love to have a coffee.

I absolutely love your writing and wanted to ask you about this. I feel like when I read back my own writing, I can't "get into" at all. I can't immerse myself in reading it, as if I were reading something written by someone else. It's just disjointed words and phrases. So I have absolutely no idea what tone I am achieving, how realistic the dialogue is, how engrossing it is, or basically how "good" it is. No clue. It's just words that don't connect. I feel like I can barely edit/proof my own work because of this. Have you ever experienced this?
Firstly, thank you so much. I appreciate it.
So, the funny thing is that my own memory for my writing is shit. Like I forget things almost as soon as I write them. Once the scene is out of me and my consciousness, I sort of move on from it. So, when I read it back, it actually reads pretty normal in my head. I essentially don't associate my writing with myself, and if some time passes, then it's almost new to me.
But I think it's totally normal not to feel like it's 'your' writing. I think it's good, healthy even. I don't think you'll ever know about 'tone', or what effect your story has on someone. Some rules do exist, grammar exists, development and pacing do exist, but I think you should just write and not worry too much about it.
Proofing sucks, so I try to proof as I write, because right after I am done with a chapter, I can't go back and proof it, because I need to disengage from it and take a break.
But for example, a week ago, I re-read Match from the beginning, and I was like, oh, this is pretty cool! I like it! :) Hahaha. I just read it as a story and not as 'my' story and it was good.
Frankly, some of the older things, I probably wouldn't even recognize or remember anything about them.
I think, try not to be too self-critical. It's too easy to get into the weeds and just self-flagellate yourself for every word. But I also think that writing is something you NEED to do. It's inside and it's like birthing a child. If you don't get it out, I feel like it can actually drive you crazy. So just write. It's almost like you can't help yourself, and that's the beauty and the tragedy of writing. The story has to be told. Some will love it, some won't. It is what it is. Once it's out there, you can't control it.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
thanks to @fogsblue and @nyxianthe for the tag.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
70 works total
2. What's your total A03 word count?
889,291 (holy hell)
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Horizon, mostly
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Flame and Shadow - (Nil/Aloy) - 368
All the World Aflame - (Nil/Aloy) - 280
Toward the Sun (Nil/Kotallo/Aloy) - 273
Glitter and Gore - (Nil/Kotallo/Aloy) - 170
Where the Wanderer Goes - (Nil/Kotallo/Aloy/Fashav) - 165
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I really try, but I'm horrible at it! I always forget to reply and then I always feel super awkward. But just know, I read every single one and love them all SO SO much!
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Toward Them, the angst-heavy spinoff of Toward the Sun (an AU of that fic, if you will)
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Oh man. Most of them have happy endings. I rarely write anything that doesn't have one. The happiest might be Toward the Sun and its sequel, No Shadows in the Sun.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not on the fics, no, but I'm well aware that my tastes skew toward the minority.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yes, almost every fic is rated E for exactly that. I write a mixture, MF, MM, and MMF primarily.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I've written a couple. I don't know if they're crossovers or fusions, though. The craziest is probably the Nil/Kotallo How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days fic, Hearts and Diamonds.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of (and I hope it stays that way)
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not yet, but Nyx and I dabbled in a co-universe with the AO Magazine fics.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
Hmm, as engrossed as I've been in Horizon, my ALL-TIME ship would probably be Destiel. I've read sooo many of those fics over the years (although never written one).
15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I stubbornly refuse to admit that there are any I won't ever finish, but it may take me a while. 😂
16. What are your writing strengths?
Hmm, I think dialogue comes fairly easily to me. Also smut's not too terribly difficult.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I tend to struggle with remembering to add descriptors. I often have to go back in the editing process and add descriptions of people and things.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I'm not opposed to it by any means, but since I don't know any other languages, I'd be worried about getting it wrong and taking readers who did know that language out of the story. For that reason I'll probably avoid doing it.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Fallout 4
20. Favorite fic you've ever written?
That's a tough one. Maybe G&G. It was incredibly fun to write.
I'm going to tag @wandereringray and @every-raindrop77 but no pressure!

thomas, how are you doing currently ? does the approaching winter make you anxious ? (totally valid, if so) i hope you're doing the best you can within the current situation :3
also, i would like to sit gently on patton's shoulder with my fairy mite (that i'm naming frankie) and ask frankie to warm up a bit in attempts to help the child™ feel a lil bit better :D hopefully remind him that he's loved and cared for and not alone :33 (hopefully patton can feel frankie's warmth ? i do not remember if anything was established in relation to patton and the fairy mites-) -bunnie sprite
There was tension in the van, Thomas knew. Everyone was stressed out between not being able to stretch their legs and the fact that winter was quickly approaching.
Roman clearly had too much energy pent up, but was trying to smother it in order to not to provoke his companions more than they already were. It caused him to fiddle with things. He would move things around which irritated both Logan (who had a system for the supplies) and Patton (who had trouble dealing with any amount of change while stressed). He’d started to fiddle with different buttons on the van which was honestly annoying for Thomas too, though he didn’t put forth any protests.
Logan meanwhile was in ‘robot mode as Roman often called it. He spent most of his time studying the atlas and almost seemed to forget that the others were there. Roman had mostly taken over cooking them dinner as Logan was too engrossed in trying to figure out something to do for the winter. The coldness coming from him seemed to affect both Roman and Patton. Roman seemed to get angry at him, though he was biting his tongue for now, but Patton just seemed sad.
Patton had originally gotten irritable and then had gotten quiet, which was probably worse. Both Logan and Roman were too distracted to notice there was something wrong with him, but Thomas had. He tried to interact with Patton in whatever ways he could to make him smile, though he was still learning how to communicate properly in the physical world.
None of the kids seemed to appreciate him playing Christmas songs whenever he thought about the coming winter. He agreed it was probably in poor taste, but he couldn’t quite control it.
The worst was when they saw a half eaten deer on the side of the road and...
youtube
They didn't seem to appreciate that one.
Thomas is open for questions.
Logan is open for questions.
Patton is open for questions.
Roman is open for questions.
Read the story in order.
Read the important bits of the story in order.

OHHH I MEANT TO REPLY TO THIS A LOT SOONER FRIEND BUT GOSH. also like i think what you said is soooo true, and now with discovering my love for reading again is such a healing experience because finally its something i can enjoy freely on my own without judgment or academic need.
I more so have a fondness of audiobooks because I think it just fits my style of comprehension. Sometimes its hard for me to focus at times, especially when theirs noise. I enjoy reading but I just havent got the time anymore to just sit for hours on end. My dad called it a skill, like some kind of muscle that you can train to do again which seems... odd... I think its probably something more like adhd. Anyway, its quite easier to consume books that way because I'm able to do things in the background that help me focus better. (I do not know why, but when I am physically doing something it helps my brain comprehend things easier. Its almost like it gives more stimulation to things.). So when I'm working, I'm listening to a book! It just works for me! Ideally I want to get back into physical books but I just have so many hobbies and stuff I want to do so its hard for me to figure out my footing so I'm trying to make it super easy to do the things I love that I can't possibly not do them.
(I call it outsmarting myself in a way. Sometimes I get exhausted over the thought of doing a big task so I procrastinate it even if its "fun" so I'm making it so ridiculously easy to read that I can't NOT read.)
ALSO- for me personally ive found that theyre really super immersive, and you just feel IN the story more. Soothing too. I like audiobooks.
I definitely can understand that too!! I love a good description and prose. It just has this way of sucking me in listening to a bunch of good detail and worldbuilding. I understand the complexity part of things! And yes thats the correct word!! It does seem interesting. I dunno if I would read it. Mainly because I'm not super keen on horror (I get scared too easily pfft.). But I can understand why you had found it fascinating.
Oh!! I actually went and bought the book today physically with my dad :). Thats how much I adore it!! I just have not been able to stop thinking about it.
MUTUALS BTW DONT READ IF U DONT WANT SPOILERS!! SORRY BUT IK I DEMANDED A FEW OF YOU TO READ IT AUGH.
Its about this girl who moves to new york named August. shes bi, but she moves in with these three people. Niko, Wes, and Myla. She's there for college because she transferred. There's some mystery going on with her mother at the start because her mother is super engrossed in trying to track down her long lost brother (August's uncle). But before August left, she told her mother that she was DONE helping her find clues on him.
Basically on her first day of class she skins her knee and dumps coffee all over herself and somehooooow meets this woman on the subway. Her name is Jane!! And shes super pretty and August is immediately crushing so hard on her!!!!!!! Jane gives her this scarf to help and their exchanges continue after that. August tries to ask Jane out but its later revealed that shes trapped on the subway (gasp!!! oh no!!).
Jane's been trapped on the subway for almost 45 years and she doesn't really remember her life at all or even how she got there but August ends up helping her figure out what all happened.
Oh I'm not doing this enough justice at all because man I just... ughhh.
So they kiss yeah and its *totally* for science and helping Jane remember.
TURNS OUT- later on in the story she figures out Jane was a nickname she was given back in the 70s'. Her actual name's Biyu Su and she had ran away from her home at 18 out of feeling shame for being gay and (i forget what else??) But its literally like shes trapped on the subway between space and time. Shes not a ghost, but she's also not able to leave. She's connected to the subway itself. IM BEYOND SORRY BECAUSE ITS BEEN A WEEK BUT LIKE. i love august and her so much. I cant. I actually cant 😭. THEY MEAN SO MUCH TO ME.
im not even saying all of what happens, either. I just adore the characters and how everyone interacts with one another. I wanted to cry when I finished it. And now!! I own it!! Thats- how much I love it. It makes me want to write a story half as good as it. Its just got that energy that makes you want to smile. Idk I know its cheesy but I've been reading a lot of wlw romance books???
When I was younger I didn't have that available, especially after first coming out?? So like discovering all these lovestories makes me happy. Just love reading happy fluffy stories where everyone is happy in the end.
I could go on and on abt one last stop for HOURS friend but I'm a bit too out of steam to continue writing. But I appreciate your interest in asking me abt it. I absolutely love talking abt it.
I tried reading a new book but it got too scary so I stopped reading it. unfortunately the writing style was so good and I liked the setting so much I started reading it again (with the cost of not being able to be alone for the next week or so). I’m halfway through and god. I love. books

Cookies
Summary: Yelena will get those cookies
Yelena x Reader
Warnings: None
A/N: Not proof read, hope you enjoy this short story! Likes, reblogs, and comments are always appreciated! I did not know what I was doing at the end :,)
>>MasterList<<
Tumblr media
It was a good day, the team was coming from a successful mission with zero casualties and you were able to spend the rest of the day just relaxing. So after hearing of the good news, You decided to bake some cookies for the whole team to share.
You were a great baker, before joining the Avengers you owned a bakery thats still running ,its just under new management but you still liked to visit it sometimes.
It was a nice and quiet. You were enjoying the peace of the compound while you were baking cookies. . . but then you heard her again.
“Yelena, if you even dare to try and take a cookie again there will be consequences!”
“I don’t know what your talking about.” Her voice feigning with innocence. “Don’t even try.” You look back at her, eyeing her as you mix the cookie batter.
“You cannot keep on eating the cookies Yelena there for the team!” You told her, clearly annoyed.
“Well I am your girlfriend, I should always be first before the team...and you cannot blame me that your cookies are just so delicious.” She walks up to you, wrapping her arms around your waist and resting her chin in your shoulder.
“Yes you are my girlfriend but I’m making these for the team to celebrate.” You stop mixing and place down the bowl of cookie batter on the counter, then you face her “And plus you ate the first batch I made!” You tell her.
“I’m sorry dorogoy(darling).” She then kisses you on the lips turning you away from the counter, She felt you kiss her back and she sneaks in her hand to take a cookie that was near you.
She smirks while kissing you. She knew her plan would work, but then you slap her hand away and push her against the counter behind her catching her off guard, she was stunned when you looked her. A small smile plastering on your face.
You leaned in closer your face inches away from hers “I told you Yelena, if you tried to take another cookie there will be consequences.” Her eyes widen and you swear you saw a slight blush come to her face.
While you both were engrossed with each other, you both didn’t hear Friday announce about the teams arrival and the elevator door ringing.
“I better hope those cookies weren’t made while you both were doing something unholy.” You heard the voice call out from somewhere behind you.
Finally coming to realization, you blushed and quickly turned around finally facing the team a smirk plastered on some of their faces, and leaving a stunned Yelena who was still processing the situation, she never has seen you that confident before and that made her weak in the knees, totally forgetting about the cookies that she was after.
“NO! Don’t worry, I-I was just trying to stop Yelena from eating the cookie batch I was making...” You sputtered out quickly “There for you and the team to enjoy after the successful mission.” You quickly grabbed Yelena and made your way out of the room. “Uh, I hope you enjoy the cookies, heh.” You said to the team before leaving with Yelena.
You both made way to yours and hers shared room before closing the door behind you.
“I hope they enjoy those cookies and don’t worry Yelena, I’ll make a batch for you soon.”
Yelena looks your way and a smirk formed onto her face as she grabs you by the waist. “Don’t worry about the now Dorogoy(sweetheart). I believe I still have to face those consequences you were talking about~” Her voice filled with a flirtatious tone.
You felt her hand go lower your waist and a blush crept around your face. You composed yourself and grabbed onto her and spun her around “And I’ll make sure you remember your punishment.” You placed your lips on her and you can feel her kiss back hungrily and both of you land on the bed and started going at each other.
Yelena hasn’t totally forgotten about the cookies but this was much better than any cookie, you were sweeter and more delicious than any cookie she was ever going to eat and she could never get enough of you.

She Knows Part 2, (Wolffe x Reader)
OH BOY. First I'm sorry this took me so long I've been busy with college. But! this is the longest fic or anything really I've written so wow. Hopefully you enjoy.
Warnings: angst, mentions of Alcohol, mentions of cheating slight smut (minors do not interact or read).
Note: italics are flashbacks
“So, what do you usually do during leave?” the question threw you a little of guard. You’d been stationed with the 501st for four months now, four months since you’d broke it off with Wolffe after… everything. You had been the head medic in the 104th battalion, but quickly put in a request for a transfer after the humiliation Wolffe had put you through. The only position available was with the 501st, working under their head medic, Kix. It was a demotion sure, but honestly it took a lot of stress of your shoulders and well, anything to get away from the situation you were in.
Working with Kix almost 24/7 forced you two to grow close and form a close relationship. It was more of a brotherly/sisterly love than anything else, though others saw how well you two had worked together and insisted you would make a good couple, you both were comfortable where you were, which you were grateful for, it was nice to have a friend as kind and understanding as Kix.
Tomorrow the whole battalion would be stationed on Coruscant, the general had some jedi duties to attends to and the war was at a standstill for the moment, giving the men time to relax instead of being thrown under another general for a while.
You had been checking bacta supplies when Kix happened to spring this question on you. Freezing your hand in motion as you had begun to type up an order to restock while planet side. You’d never actually had a leave without Wolffe. Most of the time on leave was spent in that dark corner of 79’s, the other half in a hotel bed.
“Mesh’la, come on, up. I promised the men we’d meet them tonight for a round.”
“But I don’t wanna go Wolffe can’t we just stay here? The sheets are so soft and I don’t feel like wearing clothes.” You’d whined.
“I already told them we would be there, now come up before I drag you out of bed.”
“you wouldn’t,” you peeked your head out from under the covers, narrowing you eyes at him, he stood at the foot of the bed, wearing his blacks sans shirt. He himself had just untangled from you and the sheets. How he had the willpower to do so you had no clue. He dawned his famous predatory smirk on his face
“Are you questioning my word Mesh’la, because you know I always keep my word.” He took a step forward, his thighs now touching the mattress.
“of course not Wolffe,” you gave him a sweet smile, “but I bet I could change your mind.”
“oh?” he raised an eyebrow. “do tell.” He placed his hand on either side of your feet, leaning over the bed
“why don’t you come up here and find out.”
With one swift move Wolffe was on top of you now and you brought your hands to his face pulling him in and kissing him, it was rough and passionate, you really didn’t want to leave and you wanted him to know that, hoping he would see how desperate you were and decide to stay. But after a few moments he pulled back, looking down at you with that damn smirk again, “that was quite convincing.”
Before you could retort anything Wolffe had left from his position on top of you, yanking you up to your feet in the process, “but unfortunately like a said before, I am a man of my word and I already gave it to my brothers, sorry mesh’la but you’ll have to show me your negotiating skills another time, I promise ill make up for it.”
“To be honest Kix I’ve never really done much with my leave time, ya know? I just kinda destress and go out every once in a while.”
“Oh? Well do you have any plans for our first night off then? Me and a couple of the boys are gonna be at 79’s if you’d like to join.”
The mention of 79’s made your heart skip a beat. You hadn’t been back there since you’d found out about Wolffe. “I don’t know Kix,” you sighed, 79’s was a clone bar, and also a favorite hangout spot for the man you had been trying to forget about.
“oh come on, you think Jesse’s a horrible flirt now, just wait till you see him drunk, you’ll be laughing so hard your stomach will be sore in the morning.”
You snorted a laugh in response, Jesse and you were also pretty close, but he was notorious for always trying out stupid pick-up lines on you, he took every opportunity he could to flirt with you, even when he had gotten injured and you were stitching him up, “you look so pretty when your concentrated.” He had said.
But the issue at hand still itched in the back of your mind, what if Wolffe was there? Going back to your holopad, typing up the order you were previously working on to make yourself seem less concerned about your next question you asked him, “the 104th isn’t on leave right now are they?”
“no I don’t think so, why?” Kix had since turned around focusing on organizing medical supplies to help you order.
“Nothing, just, ya know making sure.” You’d told Kix about what happened between you and Wolffe. Just about every clone knew you two were dating, Wolffe always had to make it known you were his. So Obviously everyone was curious as to what had happened.
He turned and looked at you, realizing what you meant, “Oh Kriff, this is your first leave without him isn’t it?”
You nodded, too afraid, after months of finally getting yourself together you didn’t want to revert back to breaking down again.
“Hey listen, if you don’t want to be there I understand. But maybe it would help ya know? We’ll all be wasted you’ll totally forget about him I promise we’ll have a good time.”
It was very convincing, you’d seen the 501stparty and 79’s before, they went hard, unlike Wolffe who was usually more private and reserved. That didn’t mean you two still didn’t have fun in your own way on leave.
Much to your dismay you’d put on a dress and Wolffe had dragged you to 79’s anyways. The second you’d stepped into the place the music and dark lighting consumed you. It was loud tonight. The 501st was celebrating a successful occupy over a separatist world and you could tell. The blue armor was spread throughout the crowd, some at the bar hitting on the women already occupying it, and some on the dance floor.
You wished Wolffe danced more with you, you loved to dance but he only ever accompanied you once, and that was after a drinking competition with Thorne who was hard to beat. He didn’t even remember it in the morning.
Without a second glance to all the men, Wolffe grabbed your wrist and led you back to the booth he always sat at. Instead of the usual commanders, Sinker and Boost sat there awaiting their commanders arrival after being promised a drink with him. You slid into the booth and Wolffe sat right up against you.
He was broad so he took up most of the space, he always presented himself in such a way that he was always there, chest puffed out, shoulders broadened and head held high. When he got situated he spread his legs, taking up more space and knocked his with yours. The two of you practically sat in each other’s lap with how close you were to each other. he placed his hand on your thigh, resting just below the sundress you and reluctantly put on earlier.
It was a last resort to get him to stay in with you. It was his favorite. The first time he saw you in it he’d practically kneeled before you, although you were sure he was just trying to get a peak underneath.
Four shots were already at the table when you two had arrived and Sinker, who was sitting in front of you, had passed one your way while Wolffe grabbed his own downing it without even flinching.
As the night drove on, the men began to become tipsy and Wolffe’s hand grew higher and higher. It was when Boost was at the climax of telling you a story from before you had signed on with them that Wolffe finally breeched your center, rubbing his index finger over the already wet spot in your panties.
You jumped, not expecting him to be so bold as to touch you in front of his men. You turned to look at him but he was looking straight on at Boost, absolutely engrossed in the story he was telling. Without making eye contact he leaned over, giving you a small peck on your temple, while at the same time, he pushed you underwear over to the side and slipped a finger into you.
His face was flushed, from the alcohol or the devious act he was performing you couldn’t tell. It was probably a mix of both. Wolffe rarely showed PDA in public especially in front of him men. So you were practically in shock with what was happening right now.
You went to grab a sip of your drink while he slowly pumped his finger a few times before deciding to add another. You let out a chocking noise.
“Hey you okay?” Sinker seemed concerned at your reaction.
“Yeah, yeah just fine, drink must’ve gone down the wrong piper there” you tried to play it off.
He bought it just fine, resuming the conversation that had started up after Boost’s story. When you turned to look at Wolffe again he was wearing that shit eating grin he often dawned and maker you wanted to wipe it clean off.
When Sinker and Boost were distracted enough, Wolffe leaned into you, “come on now mesh’la, I did say I'd make it up to you, and as I recall we’ve already proved I’m a man of my words.”
“Well I guess a few drinks wouldn’t hurt.” You thought back to all the times you’d seen blue armor on the dance floor and envied the fact you hadn’t been there as well, “but I better get a couple of dances out of you guys”
Kix chuckled, “I can promise you, if you stop by for long enough those men will be fighting over who gets to dance with you next.”
You bellowed out a laugh at that. The thought of Jesse, tup and the rest fighting over you was quite the scenario. “Just comm me what time you boys are gonna be there at.”
He nodded his head in agreement, both of you chatting lightly about other topics as you finished the order.
****************************************************
The ship had landed a few hours ago, longing for a good night’s sleep you had left the barracks for the stay, packing up your necessities and checking into a hotel a few blocks out of the main traffic for some peace and quiet.
As you were getting ready for your night at 79’s Kix had sent you a comm message, letting you know they were on their way and would be arriving in 10 minutes. All you had left to do was dress yourself. You rummaged through the bag of clothes you had. It wasn’t much, mostly GAR issued scrubs and a few dresses. You heart stopped when you saw the dress though. The one that was always Wolffe’s favorite. You picked it out, holding it up so you could see the whole thing.
Kriff. This dress brought back so many memories. It almost hurt to look at it. if you were being completely honest with yourself though, you did look damn good in it. screw it you thought. Time to make better memories in it.
After you slipped the dress on you hailed an air taxi to 79’s once inside you scanned the bar, looking for the men who were going to take up your evening. You spotted them at the bar ordering drinks and from the looks of it Jesse was already on his shit and flirting with the bartender.
You walked up to them and their heads turned. Jesse let out a whistle, “Damn, look at you! If I didn’t know any better I'd say you were trying to entice me.”
Kix shook his head at that. Putting his face into his palm. Tup who happened to be standing beside Jesse elbowed him to which Jesse frowned at. “Could you not flirt with my favorite medic?” he turned to you, “you look nice by the way, but not in a creepy I want to get with you way like he meant.”
You let out a giggle. You were already having a great time and you hadn’t even been in the building for five minutes. You took a seat at the bar between Kix and Jesse, Tup to the other side of him.
As the night ticked by you happened to get pretty tipsy, never getting truly drunk for fear you couldn’t make it back to your hotel safely. The men held their alcohol well though and although they were drinking twice as much, they were probably the same level intoxicated as you were. You all stayed at the bar, cracking jokes and telling insane stories, often Jesse would flirt with you or the bartender but it wasn’t too much and you both welcomed the light heartedness attention he gave.
An hour in you heard a voice behind you, “Hope I didn’t miss too much.” You swiveled in the bar seat, turning around to be face to face with the captain of the 501st.
“Captain!” Kix exclaimed, “what took you so long?”
“Sorry boys had a few reports I needed to fill out before the night ended.”
“Well, were glad you here now.” You said.
You got up to give the captain a hug. Something you defiantly wouldn’t do sober, but the alcohol had given you a little confidence. Rex looked surprised by the affection but embraced you anyways. He leaned down and you put your chin over his shoulder patting him on the back staying like that for a second.
It was then that you wished you hadn’t hugged Rex, hadn’t drank as much to give you a confidence boost, and hadn’t stepped a foot in this maker forsaken bar again.
He sat there, in the seat he always sat in when he came here. Only this time he wasn’t with any of his troopers or the other commanders. This time he was with another girl. She was a purple Twi'lek and she was drop dead gorgeous. And the dress she was wearing, or lack thereof because of how tiny it was , made you look like you had just picked yours straight out of the garbage. And you couldn’t help but wonder.
Was that her?
“Kriff Wolffe, what the actual Kriff!” you screamed, you didn’t care about the other guests in the hotel, you were so mad you were practically seeing stars.
“I'm sorry mesh’la I'm sorry I'm so so sorry.”
“No. No! don’t you dare call me that right now. I can’t – I don’t even have words for you right now.”
“please, please let me explain,”
You whipped you head around to him, seeing a whole new layer of red. “Explain? What is there to explain Wolffe. You cheated on me then proceeded to not tell me while apparently everyone else knew and I found out through one of your brothers! Isn’t that enough of an explanation.”
You sat down on the bed, head in hands. He kneeled down in front of your feet. Placing his hands atop of your knees. “I'm sorry.” He whispered. You slapped his hands off you, the thought of him touching you after another woman practically revolted you.
“you already said that.”
“I know, and I mean it I am, it was a mistake, I- if I could take it back I would, Maker I- I hate myself for letting it happen.”
“you should hate yourself.”
“I do, I do. Please, tell me what I can do to make this better.”
For a man who was supposed to be well tactical he kept making all the wrong moves.
“Wolffe there is no making this better. What’s done is done and now it's time to move on.” you finally made your decision, after debating back and forth in the air cab on how to react.
“Yes of course let’s move on, it was in the past but I love you Mesh’la I want you that’s all.”
Kriff that’s not what you meant. “No Wolffe, I mean I’m moving on. from you. I- I can’t continue to be with someone who has done what you’ve done. It's- it's not fair to me.”
By this point tears were strolling down your face. You turned your head to wipe them, not wanting him to see how much he had broke you. “no, no please I- I love you please we can fix this we can work this out please just stay I- I need you.”
“I love you too Wolffe, but there is no fixing this. I loved you so much that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, I gave you everything thing, I gave you all of me and you took that and you stomped on it, you might as well of placed my heart in a dumpster and set it on fire.”
He put his head in your lap. A single tear rolling down his face. “please, please don’t go, I'm so sorry.”
“I know Wolffe. But I can’t accept your apology.”
Your head was pounding. He wasn’t supposed to be on Coruscant right now. Kix had said so himself. You pulled back from Rex. He placed his hands on your shoulders his face blocking the view of him. He smiled warmly but his expression quickly changed when he saw yours.
“you look like you’ve seen a ghost” he joked.
But you facial expression didn’t lighten, in fact it only got worse. With every waking second, every harsh beat of whatever hit song was playing over the speakers you drew yourself inwards more and more.
“hey hey what wrong?” Kix had left his seat at the bar quickly coming to your side. Him and Rex both dawned a look of concern.
“You said he wouldn’t be here.” You turned to Kix, channeling you emotions onto him.
He looked confused at first, but the realization hit him and he turned his head to look over Rex’s shoulder. Rex followed his line of vision and they both saw him. Sitting there in the booth, while the woman clung to him, practically in his lap.
She was kissing his neck, which honestly surprised you, Wolffe was never one for public displays of affection. Or maybe that was just with you. Because he seemed to be enjoying this.
Rex turned around to face you again, a look of panic and empathy on his face, “Kriff I'm so sorry I- he was on a solo mission with General Koon and they’re stationed here for the night so I told him I’d be here. I'm so sorry, it was an honest mistake.”
It wasn’t the first time you’d heard that from a man in this room.
You felt like the whole room was spinning, be that the alcohol or the nervousness and upset that came with seeing him again you weren’t sure. All the men you had come here with were suddenly surrounding you with sympathetic looks and it felt like someone had placed a spotlight on you and you just wanted it to go away.
This night was meant to help you forget him, be happy and have fun with your new assigned battalion. Kriff was the so much to ask for!
“hey hey come on now,” Jesse finally broke the silence, “forget about him! If I remember correctly I promised you a dance earlier?”
This made you finally break out of your trance. You needed a distraction, and had been waiting for someone to dance with all night.
“actually I would love to Jesse.”
“right this way then”
He held out his hand for you and took you to the dance floor. The song that was playing was loud and upbeat, you and Jesse moved together to the beat, it was fun and you really enjoyed it, when the beat of the song dropped everyone on the dance floor was jumping to it, you and Jesse did the same
When the song stopped, you were practically out of breath, you let out a laugh of relief, actually feeling a little better. You looked up are Jesse and he was smiling at you.
“Feeling better, huh?” he asked.
“A little, thank you.”
A few second later another song had come on. This time it was more slow, the partners on the dance floor started to grab each other.
Jesse grabbed your waist. “Come on huh? let’s give that son of a blaster something to look at, plus this might be the only time I get to be this close to you, despite my attempts” he smirked at you.
You nodded your head, letting out a giggle at his lame excuse to flirt with you again. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he pulled you in closer, your chest practically touching his. And finally you both started to sway to the beat.
A few seconds in Jesse started rubbing his thumbs on your hips, trying to calm your nerves, and it worked. Caught up in the music you started to lightly grind your hips into his, although it was soft guarded by his armor, he still took notice to it. smirking at you and grinding in time with you. His hands started to rise, growing closer and closer to under your breasts, but never reaching, knowing he would be crossing a line, and although Jesse was a flirt, his last intention was to make anyone uncomfortable.
He nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck. You could feel his breathe on your skin, and his nose rubbing up and down. He placed a soft his on your shoulder and the next thing you knew you were being turned around. His hand were back on your waits, but his cheat was now pressed up against your back. He gave you a harsh grind into your ass and you gasped. His arms now wrapping around you, pulling you impossibly tight into him. His head resumed its spot into your neck.
“is this okay,” he whispered into your ear.
“yeah.” You breathed. He kissed you neck this time. but it was just one short one, it was slow, and hot, you closed your eyes. he placed them all the way up your neck, all the way up to your jaw. All the way close to your mouth, and he whispered again, is this okay.
You nodded your head, eyes still closed and you turned you head towards him a little encouraging him. And his lips met yours.
You hadn’t kissed very many people. Wolffe giving you the majority of your experience. and although they were clones, they felt completely different. When Wolffe used to kiss you he practically stole your breath, he put everything he had into kissing you, and it was almost always hot and it made your insides flip, no matter how many times he kissed you, you always felt dizzy and perfectly happy, like his kissed could cure any problemed you had. To say Jesse was a bad kisser would be a lie, it was a good kiss, but it almost made you feel the opposite, all you could think about was Wolffe.
And when the song ended and you opened your eyes you were facing him again. Him. And he was sitting there with his lounge practically down the woman’s throat. And it hurt, hurt to know that he didn’t even acknowledge you. Hadn’t even cared that the person he once begged to stay with was with someone else now. Even though you weren’t actually. It hurt that he used to kiss you like that and now he was kissing someone else like that.
you weren’t sure if it was the beginning of the next song, or if your head was going fuzzy, but all you could hear was ringing in your ears. Jesse had unwrapped his hands from around you and the moment he did you sprang towards the doors of 79’s.
you heard the faint sounds of Jesse, rex and Kix calling out for you but you couldn’t be bothered to hear what any of them had to say. You left the building and walked a few blocks. Finally coming across an empty alley. You pressed you back against the cool metal of the building you were beside and let out a breathe. The air was cool and crisp against your skin, but it felt good.
After all the time you spent forgetting about him you were practically back at square one. And it pissed you off. How dare he have this effect on you.
You let out a sigh, gathering your emotions. And when you finally felt calm enough you went to comm Kix, letting him know you’d be going back to your hotel for the rest of the night, but you were interrupted.
“Mesh’la.”
ending notes: soooo, im not sure if im gonna do another part on this or not, i have some ideas for other fics but im kinda cramped on time at the moment so we shall see.

Fearless
Prequel to Don’t You
Pairing: Sebastian Stan x reader
Word count: 4.5k
————————
“Looks like it finally stopped raining.”
The murmur of the coffee shop was replaced by the sounds of the city as you followed Sebastian outside. The humidity seemed to hit you like a truck, making you miss the air conditioning you had just left.
“Finally. I thought I was going to be stuck in that coffee shop with you forever.” You laughed at the faux offended look on Sebastian’s face. “That’s what I get for not checking the weather.”
“Next time I’ll let you wait out the rain by yourself,” Sebastian threatened. His grin made the corners of his eyes crinkle a bit. Had they always done that? Had you just never noticed before?
“At least then I won’t have a bunch of teenage girls taking pictures of me the whole time. They’re scary. How do you deal with that all the time?” It had been disconcerting to have the group of girls staring at you and Sebastian as you sat and chatted. For a moment, you had thought you were crazy when you noticed them looking. The first thought you had was that you had something on your face or needed to fix your hair, but you realized why they were so focused on your table when they walked over to ask Sebastian for pictures.
Sebastian let out a sigh as he shrugged. For a second you were worried that you had said something wrong. “I just try to ignore it most of the time. I’m polite if they come up to me. I’d rather they like me than hate me.”
“I’m sure you have lots of stories. You’ll have to tell me sometime.” Your eyes widened when you realized what you’d said. What if he didn’t want to see you again? “I mean, if you’re staying in the city long. I’m sure you’re really busy.”
“I’ve got some promo to do soon, but I’m not filming again for a few months. I wanted a bit of the break.” Sebastian waved his hand. “Let’s not talk about my work. What about you? You taking the business world by storm?”
“Well I did just get a raise, so now I can almost afford my rent, groceries, and student loans.” The joys of living in New York City.
“Ah sounds like everything’s going well then. Are your parents still around?” Your parents had basically fallen in love with Sebastian when they first met him freshman year. A group of your friends had come over to your house for a movie night and Sebastian had insisted on staying to help you clean up after everyone else had left. Your mom had spent the next few weeks not so subtly dropping hints that she thought you should date him.
“Yeah they’re still in Jersey. They tried to convince me to move in with them, but I told them I didn’t want to have to commute into the city every day. Of course, that set them off about how that’s what they’ve been doing my whole life because they didn’t want me growing up without a yard or whatever.”
“So it sounds like they haven’t changed much?” You shook your head slightly to force yourself to stop watching Sebastian as he laughed.
“No they have not.” You bumped your shoulder against Sebastian’s gently. “They’re your number one fans, you know.”
“Oh they are?” His eyebrows raised in surprise, and he was already fighting a smile, no doubt waiting to hear what embarrassing things your parents had done since high school graduation.
“They see all of your movies in theaters.” Multiple times, but you didn’t want Sebastian to think they were weirdos.
“Even the bad ones?”
“Even the bad ones. I did tell them that they aren’t allowed to buy any of the Bucky dolls.”
“They’re action figures.”
You rolled your eyes, but found yourself matching Sebastian’s smile anyway. “Whatever. It’d be weird seeing a mini version of you at my parents’ house. It’s bad enough that they still have a bunch of high school pictures hung up.”
“My mom does too. She’s going to be so excited when I tell her that I ran into you. You were always her favorite of our group.”
You stopped suddenly, grabbing Sebastian’s arm. He looked a little alarmed, but you ignored it. “Are you serious? I was always so scared of her. This is the best day of my life.” You had met Sebastian’s mom a couple of times throughout high school, but had never been able to tell whether or not she liked you.
“Scared of her? Why? Because of the accent?”
“The accent didn’t help, but really it was because she’s hot. That makes her intimidating.”
Sebastian groaned and pulled a face. “No. You can’t think my mom is hot. That’s not allowed. Take it back or I’m sending your parents all of the Bucky dolls I can find.”
“It’s not like I wanted to bang her or anything. I just think that she’s an attractive woman. Which makes sense considering how attractive you are.” Your mouth snapped shut. You weren’t sure who was blushing more, you or Sebastian. “Let’s forget about this whole conversation.” Sebastian laughed slightly and nodded.
It was silent between you two as you continued your walk through the streets. You weren’t really sure where he was going. You were heading to your car, but you couldn’t tell if Sebastian was also going somewhere or if he was just following you. If you had looked up, you would have noticed that Sebastian was watching you carefully. But you didn’t look up. Your eyes were on the pavement, watching the glow of the lights in the reflection from the rain.
“Do you remember that poster that was in our English class freshman year?” you asked suddenly. Sebastian’s brow crinkled slightly as he tried to remember, but then he followed your gaze to the glowing pavement and smiled.
“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” The two of you laughed slightly as you remembered your slightly eccentric teacher. “We made fun of that poster so much.”
“It was a stupid poster. But remember it was raining when we were leaving the homecoming dance freshman year and we started dancing in the parking lot-”
“And all of our friends thought we were crazy,” Sebastian finished. “To be fair, we were crazy. That was probably the most fun part of the dance though.”
“Are you saying that I was a bad date?” You gasped and brought your hand up to your mouth as if Sebastian had offended you. Both of you dissolved into giggles.
“I’m saying that I was probably a bad date. I was so awkward. I had such a big crush on you.” Sebastian rubbed his neck uncomfortably. You definitely didn’t notice how the action made his arms look.
“Wait really?” This was news to you. You had always kind of assumed that Sebastian didn’t like you very much. He had always seemed to just tolerate your presence.
“Oh yeah. All the guys used to make fun of me because I got so awkward around you. That’s why I never talked when you were with us.”
“I just thought you were shy or something.” Or that he secretly hated you.
“Well that too,” Sebastian admitted with a small grin.
“You should have just told me. I had a crush on you too. I was so excited when you asked me to the dance.” You were so engrossed in conversation that you almost walked right past your car. “Oh, this is me.”
“Oh.” Was it your imagination or did Sebastian look disappointed? Before you could figure it out, he was smiling again. “It’s been nice catching up. We should hang out again. You still have the same number?”
You assured Sebastian that you did and the two of you exchanged more pleasantries. After sliding into your car, you watched Sebastian continue down the street. The memory of the two of you dancing wildly in the parking lot while the rest of your friends complained about the rain made you smile. You kind of wished you had asked him to dance again.
————————
Part of you already wished that this weekend would never end, even though it had barely even begun. You had finally made it out of the city and still had a couple hours of driving left, but you were already dreading having to go back into the office on Monday.
You and Sebastian had been hanging out more since running into each other last month. Most of the time, you got away without any pictures of the two of you getting out, but recently that had been getting harder and harder to do. Now, through what you could only assume was some sort of social media stalking witchcraft, people had managed to figure out who you were. The hundreds of notifications had freaked you out at first, but after deleting all of the social media apps from your phone, it was totally not a big deal.
Until your coworkers had found out. Some magazine had printed a picture of you and Sebastian, including your name underneath it, so now everyone at the office was either making fun of you by pretending to take paparazzi pictures whenever you walked into a room or constantly asking about Sebastian. Needless to say, you desperately needed this weekend away.
“Hungry eyes,” Sebastian sang, rather poorly though you suspected that was on purpose. You had seen him in musicals in high school. He half turned towards you, reaching out with one hand while the other stayed on the wheel, as he continued to sing along to the music. “One look at you and I can’t disguise these-”
“Keep your eyes on the road,” you scolded, though you couldn’t help but laugh at his bad attempt to hit a high note. “You know, I was worried that you would get us killed at the cabin, but now I know you’re going to get us killed before we even make it there. And stop caressing my hair.” You slapped his hand away for emphasis.
He reached out again to run a hand down your hair. “I am not caressing your hair-”
“Definitely were.”
“-and I am not going to get us killed. We are going to have a nice relaxing weekend at a cabin that I rented and am graciously letting you stay at without paying me back. And we aren’t going to worry about paparazzi or annoying coworkers or random people on the street with cell phones.” There may have been a incident earlier that week where you had almost gone up to a random person in the street to yell at them about taking pictures of you and Sebastian. It turned out they were just a lost tourist who barely spoke English. That was when Sebastian decided that you needed a vacation too.
“I think I’m paying you back by forcing myself to spend time with you. You’re very hard to get along with. Plus, I have no money for vacations. We can’t all be actors in Marvel movies.” The trees blurred by as Sebastian drove down the highway.
“You know, I could probably get you in the next Captain America movie. You might not have any lines, but you could stand in the background.” Had he ever offered any of your other friends from high school roles in his movies? No, you couldn't let yourself get caught up in these kinds of questions.
“Sebastian, thanks again-”
“Stop! I told you to stop thanking me-”
“Thanks again,” you continued loudly, “for inviting me. I know that you were looking forward to a relaxing weekend away before you have press stuff. If you want, we don’t have to talk to each other. I don’t want to ruin your relaxation.”
Sebastian shifted uncomfortably in his seat at your thanks, but then shot you an incredulous look. “How would you ruin my relaxation? I wouldn’t have invited you if I didn’t want to spend time with you.”
“Promise?”
Sebastian sent you a smile that was so full of warmth that you could have melted right there. You were definitely getting caught up now. You tried to snap yourself out of it by thinking about all of the reasons you could never date Sebastian. First, he was Sebastian. He knew what you looked like when you were young and awkward. He had seen the awful bangs you cut yourself sophomore year. Second, he was Sebastian Stan. Surely he’d never date a nobody like you. Not that he was stuck up now. He was surprisingly similar to how he had been in high school. It’s just, he could date models if he wanted to. You were definitely not a model. And you wouldn’t even want to date someone in the spotlight like him. Third, you had been on like two dates with the skeazy guy from accounting. If you ignored most of what he said, he was only a little skeazy. Barely tolerable really. You could work with that.
But then Sebastian ran his hand through his hair, and you had to bite your lip to stop yourself from saying anything stupid. Did he know what he was doing or was he just naturally this cool now? Either way, it was going to be a long weekend.
————————
The dance was not fun. Whoever was writing the prom scenes in all of those cheesy movies was full of crap. The decorations looked bad, your dress was uncomfortable, and you were so busy making sure everything was running smoothly that you weren’t even getting to enjoy your senior prom. You never should have agreed to head the prom committee. Surely the night would be more fun if you didn’t have any responsibilities.
Except you’d probably still be standing on the edges of the dancing watching as all of your friends danced with their boyfriends. You had thought that this would finally be the dance you had a boyfriend for, but then your boyfriend broke up with you less than two weeks before because you were spending too much time working on prom. Great. Wonderful.
It had been difficult to mentally prepare yourself to go to senior prom without a date after working so hard on it.  It had seemed almost poetic when Sebastian asked you. The two of you had gone to your first high school dance together and now you were at your last high school dance together.
Except Sebastian had barely talked to you all night. In fact, he had barely even looked at you. At least, that’s what you thought. Sebastian later confessed to you that he was scared he’d get in the way of your prom committee duties so he watched you from afar as you took care of the last minute issues. But you didn’t know that yet.
“Decided to actually acknowledge me?” you snapped when Sebastian leaned against the wall beside you.
Sebastian rubbed the back of his neck uncomfortably. He was probably already regretting coming over to talk to you. “I probably deserve that. You just seemed busy.”
“There were a couple of issues that I had to take care of. I still want to enjoy the dance though.”
“So let’s enjoy it.” Sebastian held his hand out to you and nodded to the dance floor. You smiled gratefully at him and took his hand, letting him lead you out.
Neither of you were great dancers, and the dance floor was maybe a little too crowded, but you made the best of it. After bumping into another couple one too many times, you and Sebastian retired back to the wall, perfectly content to watch the others and whisper amongst yourselves.
“So have you had fun tonight?” Sebastian asked. You had, which was surprising considering how badly the night had started out. Sometimes you forgot how well you and Sebastian could get on. It was so rare to talk to him one on one. You really didn’t know how prom could have gone better. You were kind of disappointed that prom was wrapping up. Already, the dance floor had begun emptying as people left for various after parties.
“I did.” Sebastian grinned, obviously pleased with your answer. “But it wasn’t nearly as good as homecoming freshman year.”
Sebastian's smile faded as he tried to recall the dance you were talking about. “Wasn’t that dance really awkward though?”
“Sure the actual dance was,” you shrugged. “But dancing in the parking lot after was one of my favorite high school memories.”
Sebastian threw his head back to laugh, his hand resting on your shoulder to steady himself. “I’ll admit that I’m kind of glad it’s not raining tonight. My mom was not happy that I got my suit wet. But we can still dance like that tonight. There’s plenty of room on the dance floor.”
“Absolutely not,” you scoffed. “We’d look crazy.”
“Everyone here is either our friend or someone who we’ll probably never see again.” Sebastian held his hand out to you. You bit your lip as you considered before meeting his eyes. He raised an eyebrow in challenge.
“Fine.” Sebastian laughed as you took his hand, once again allowing him to drag you onto the dance floor. He was truly fearless in his dancing this time. Obviously you had to follow suit and ignore the looks people were throwing you as you and Sebastian twirled and spun and jumped around. By the time it was time to leave the dance, you both were red faced and breathless with laughter. The sky was perfectly clear as you walked through the parking lot, but part of you wished it was raining so you could once again dance in a storm in your best dress with Sebastian.
————————
“I thought you weren’t talking to me because you didn’t really want to go with me.”
“What?” Sebastian took his eyes off the road quickly to look over at you. “Why would I ask you if I didn’t want to go with you?”
“I don’t know. Maybe our friends told you to since neither of us had dates.”
“You’re crazy. I was so intimidated by you that I didn’t want to get in your way.” You scoffed and started to speak but Sebastian shushed you. “You’ve always been the most impressive person in the room.”
You weren’t entirely sure how to respond to that. Sebastian Stan thought that you were impressive. But what exactly did that mean? That he thought it was neat that you managed to wrangle high school students enough to plan prom? He said ‘you’ve always’ which seemed to imply that he still felt that way. Right? But he was a successful actor. He worked with people way more impressive than you every day.
The thoughts flashed furiously through your head as Sebastian continued to drive slowly through the town. He had certainly achieved his goal to get away from the city. It was hard to believe the small town you’d spent the weekend in was so in the same state as the city. Paparazzi had certainly not been a worry for the two of you. Eventually, the car reached the end of the road. Rather than turning around and heading back into town, Sebastian put the car in park.
“I don’t want to go back,” he sighed. You had to agree with him. You wanted to stay right there. It had been so relaxing to get away from it all. No paparazzi. No fans. No coworkers. Just you and Sebastian. But it couldn’t last. You had work, and Sebastian had interviews.
“So let’s stay here,” you suggested. “We’ll stock up on food and then barricade ourselves in the cabin. We’ll obviously have to defend ourselves when Marvel comes looking for you and my company comes looking for me, but I have complete confidence that we can take them.” Not that you had reached a position in the company where they would notice you were missing. Maybe after a week or two they’d notice something was off. Marvel was sure to be quicker though.
“Ha ha you’ve made your point.” He sighed again. “This has been the best weekend I’ve had in a long time. Thanks for coming with me.”
“Thanks for inviting me.” Your voice sounded small in the sudden stillness of the car. Sebastian’s eyes flickered over your face, going from your eyes to your lips. “What did you mean earlier?”
“About what?”
“When you said that I was always the most impressive person in the room.” You were a little nervous about his answer. There was a good chance you’d made it out to be deeper than he meant. But then you remembered how fearless and free you felt when Sebastian led you out onto the dance floor at prom, and you knew you had to know the answer.
“Exactly that. I’m constantly in awe of you. The way you were the smartest person at school. I mean, I think you’re still the smartest person I know. I don’t understand anything you’re saying when you talk about work. You always knew exactly what to say to diffuse any of our friends’ drama. You’re kind and funny and always keep me on my toes.” Sebastian paused for a moment. You tried to speak, but all you could do was look at his beautiful blue eyes. “Running into you might be the best thing to ever happen to me.”
“Sebastian,” you murmured. Before you could think of anything else to say, Sebastian’s lips were on yours. You smiled into the kiss as you ran your fingers through Sebastian’s hair. It was the perfect length. You tried your best to capture the memory of this moment. The feel of his lips. His hand on your cheek. The faint sound of birds chirping outside. The patter of rain on the car roof. It was all perfect, and you wanted to remember every second of it.
————————
You didn’t know how life could get better than this. Sebastian’s hand was entwined with your own as you walked through the streets. You had been nervous about this at first. What would his fans think? So far they had been curious but benign when it came to you. Hopefully that wouldn’t change now.
You had almost cancelled when Sebastian showed up at your door. A night in suddenly sounded really good. He hadn’t let you though. Instead, Sebastian had grabbed your hand and pulled you out onto the street. You laughed as he twirled you, causing the skirt of your favorite dress to flow out.
“Good thing it’s not raining today,” Sebastian had laughed. “This would be much less enjoyable if we were getting rained on.”
“I don’t know about that. I think we normally have a pretty good time in the rain.”
You had managed to walk to the restaurant without being spotted, though you had noticed some people taking pictures as you were eating. By the time the bill had been paid, you were more than happy to take Sebastian’s hand and follow him outside. A short walk later and the two of you were strolling around a park eating ice cream on the way back to your apartment.
“So did you have fun tonight?” Sebastian asked.
“I did,” you admitted with a smile. “It was a lot better than I was expecting.”
“Ouch.” Sebastian made a faux wounded expression that ended up making you both laugh. “I didn’t realize you thought I’d be a bad date.”
“It wasn’t you I was worried about. Your fans kind of terrify me. Not gonna lie. I half expected them to show up at the restaurant and start pelting me with rotten fruit or something.”
“That would certainly kill the mood, but I don’t think you have to worry about people throwing fruit at you.”
“No. I just have to worry about what people are going to be saying about me online.”
“Hey, stop.” Sebastian caught your hand and pulled you back to where he had stopped walking. His hands cupped both sides of your face as he looked seriously at you. “It’s going to be ok. Yeah, there are going to be some people who say some mean things. Just ignore it. It’s why I don’t bother with social media much. It doesn’t matter what they say.”
“Easy for you to say. You’re not the one they’re going to accuse of dating someone just to latch onto their fame or money.” Soon after you and Sebastian had started hanging out, the posts about you trying to use Sebastian’s game to get ahead had started. It didn’t really make much sense. Being friends with an actor wasn’t going to get you promoted any sooner. Still, they had annoyed you and sometimes made you feel weird about being around Sebastian.
“I know that you’re not using me. You know that you’re not using me. Everyone that matters will know that you’re not using me. If anything, I’m getting the better end of our relationship. I’m getting to date the most amazing woman ever.”
“Most amazing woman ever?” you repeated. “I’m not sure I have the necessary qualifications for that title.”
“Would you like to hear your qualifications?”
“Yes I would.” You giggled slightly, feeling like a kid with a crush, when Sebastian slung his arm around you and pulled you close so that he could whisper in your ear.
“You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. You are the smartest person I know. You’re kind and funny and you know all of this already because I’ve told you it before.”
“Yeah but I wanted to hear it again.” Your face was so close to Sebastian’s as you whispered back to him that your noses were almost touching. You hardly dared to breathe as your eyes flickered between his eyes and his lips.
Sebastian just barely started moving closer when you both heard “Is that Sebastian Stan?” coming from a nearby group of people. You jumped back almost immediately, blushing like a kid who was caught holding hands on the playground. Sebastian sent you a small smile before turning to face the fans who had come up to ask for pictures. Once he was finally finished with that, he took your hand again and led you back towards your apartment. Hopefully, no one had gotten a picture of you two in the park about to kiss. Despite what Sebastian had said, you were still scared of what people would say. Your hands shook slightly as you walked, so you slipped your hand out of his, hoping he hadn’t noticed.
Quicker than you would have liked, you were back outside your apartment building. “Do you want to come up?” you asked when he stopped on the sidewalk.
Sebastian shook his head. “I have to be up early tomorrow, and, if I go up, I’m never gonna want to leave.” Sebastian grabbed your hands, which were still shaking, and pulled you close before resting his hands on your hips. “I had a great time tonight.” He smiled, making you feel a bit more brave. This was just Sebastian. The same Sebastian you had known for years growing up.
Slowly, Sebastian brought a hand up to your face, giving you plenty of time to stop him. But you didn’t want to. He was making you feel a bit fearless. You grinned as he kissed you softly. Even though it wasn’t your first kiss, it certainly felt like it. Although technically, it was your first kiss as an official couple. And it was your first kiss out in public, where someone could take a picture that would make its way through the Marvel fandom.
But that didn’t matter to you now. The kiss was flawless. And despite whatever people online were probably already posting about you, you would never regret this moment. Life with Sebastian was undeniably better than life without him.

i LOVED the ability to make it clear the MC has abandonmemt issues in how they respond to their grandfather!!!
my MC is sweet, nice, and shy though she tries to be friendly and dresses colorfully-- and i just loved the dissonance between that and her going "He wanted to take care of a dog but not me?"/"So he spent hours drawing me but refused to get into contact?" quite bitterly. i end up getting too into my character's heads, personally, (it feels like method acting but im not a good actor) and started tearing up at all the mentions the grandfather dropped about his grandkid, and by the time we got to the broken arm and i saw the blue ribbon story i just imagined my MC slamming the book closed bc she needed a minute and going "Don't write about me as if you actually cared about what happened to me" and i needed to take a minute away from the game to not cry further (i dont even have anyone in my life who left me or died like this, its not like this was a sensitive topic for me-- tho my ESA did come hurrying along and complaining loudly that i was crying and obviously in need of cuddles)
like i am FULLY engrossed in these potential abandonment issues; i think theyre so interesting and very well-written ♡ thank you for giving us some parental bitterness as a treat lmao
(also, i forget if this was mentioned in the beginning, but after grandpa gave the MC up, did he MC move in with other family members or were they put into the foster care system??)
woul it be spoilery to ask how the ROs face against loving a MC with abandonment issues?? if its spoilery to ask about how they react when its @grandpa specifically, may i ask how they fare when it affects their relationship??? like, MC is having a bad brain day and feels all sensitive and raw, and so they tearily asks the RO not to leave them to go out yet-- or the RO and the MC getting briefly seperated and the RO spots MC before the MC spots the RO, and so the RO sees MC's terrified and betrayed and kinda 'No no no no not again' expression like they've been ditched which does fade into pure (and a lil bit teary eyed) relief when MC does see the RO?? or any scenario youd wanna answer about concerning how parental abandonment issues emerge in a romantic relationship? if thats spoilers too, thats totally fine too ♡♡♡ i hope you have a great day!! and thank you again for the wicked customization, again, im absolutely adoring the ability to customize how the MC reacts to their relationship with their grandfather, youve polisher this excellently ♡
Hi Anon,
I hope you're doing well! 💚
Thank you for your kind words and I really enjoyed learning more about your MC, especially how the events in the update impacted both you and them.
The dissonance you mention is really interesting to read about--how your MC's reactions to their grandfather clashes or seem different than their typical kind/shy personality. Writing those choices into the game were important to me to give you all options to tailor the relationship; the choices you mentioned are contrasted by a more unfazed route or a MC who is possibly more forgiving (?) or trying to keep their grandfather in a positive light (e.g. the give an uncertain smile. 'the drawing is kind of...sweet?' choice), etc. There will be more choices as we go relating to him with what you learn presenting opportunities for you to change your opinion, stick to it, and so forth. I'm so glad you like that variety! :D
Hmm, I think I published an ask that alluded to that answer. Your time outside of Fernweh is not something I will get too specific about to allow for rp-ing. I will be mentioning childhood things and what happened right after the departure, but I will have to be vague for right now.
You are asking some really amazing questions and are thinking so deeply about the story! 😊 I am sorry to say that it is a bit spoilery to touch on those issues that may eventually come into play, or at least there may be options that allow you to touch on them. I will say that the ROs will handle it differently by offering support in different ways--they want to be there for you.
You're welcome! I appreciate you sending this in and taking the time to play the demo.
Best wishes! 💚
