Just watched a datamine video on Slime Rancher 2 and AAAAHHH!! Its from 2022, so there could be new stuff in the code at this point (if anything, I doubt that there isn't), but it was still exciting to see what was shown!!

I know just because its in the game's data doesn't truly confirm anything, as they could just scrap stuff as time goes on. But I gotta say. Seeing the rad slime and the mosaic slime made me SO happy. Rad slimes are one of my favorites so I've been incredibly eager to see them return. And mosaic? Rad and quantum slimes do have updated art that were found in the game, but mosaics don't have that so I've been really worried about them being removed. And yet!! They've got an updated model and everything!!

Quantum slimes didn't appear in the video but the dude did talk about them also being updated as well. Again, I know its just coding and it doesn't mean they will absolutely return, but I can't pretend that seeing that video didn't make me happy

#molly rambles #i know no one follows me for slime rancher so i am pretty much rambling to the void #i am just so excited!!#i really really REALLY hope all 3 return #(especially the rad ones they're so cool)#sad tho to find out that almost all of the data for quicksilver slimes were removed #this game's coding was built on the first game so there's a lot of first game stuff in the coding #but the only thing left on quicksilvers is the little icon for those lightning blast thingies that you store in the vacpack #i was honestly hoping they'd come back but as a ranchable slime #glitch slimes don't seem to be coming back either (they make more sense but still!! having ranchable versions of them would be cool!!)#but i guess that as long as the those 3 ranchable slimes from the first game comes back #i will be very happy lol #i sincerely cannot wait to get a rad tabby largo (my beloved)#also i wanna see a ringtail slime become rad and cool
