it rrly sucks when you look at a piece of media and you can SEE why it got other people so interested but you just can't personally get around to it as much
#like yeah i understand the appeal of for example yume nikki...i think its cool...#but i couldnt get myself to actually play it myself for too long#i guess its like. too much of a slow burn?? in itself? for me?#like. exploring random events doesnt do much for me in itself. and i know you can like#interpret it in various ways! and that sounds fun!#but i guess i cant rrly bring my brain to get invested enough to pull smth big out of it#theres also the fact that if a game isnt engaging enough i often feel like im wasting time playing it...#this isnt rrly a jab at yume nikki 'not being engaging'. i rarely play any games because of this!#even ones that technically fit the category of engaging. im just wacky like that its more of a me issue
